Policy-based management towards sustainable and cohesive territorial development needs a strategic priorities oriented information platform. This information platform should secure an effective decision-making process as well as an efficient coordination of sectoral policies and activities. In order to achieve and implement commonly agreed development priorities in the future, the European Union have launched several strategic initiatives, such as Europe 2020, INSPIRE, etc. These strategies ones are expected to provide appropriate responds to development needs, as well as to support the creation of relevant policies. Aiming to establish a territorial monitoring information system in SEE region, eight countries have launched the project “Territorial Attractiveness Assessment in South East Europe” within the 4th Call of SEE Transnational Cooperation Programme. Such an information system is, needed to build a region-wide information platform for an efficient decision-making and coordination of strategic actions towards smart, sustainable and inclusive growth. The pilot domain of project was territorial attractiveness. This article provides a description of project’s main results.

Decentralization and the inclination towards a balanced regional development bring about a redistribution of cities’ functions: certain responsibilities are transferred from centres at higher hierarchy levels to regional centres (mostly medium-sized cities). In this context, the authors have analysed the importance of medium-sized cities in the settlement network and discussed the issue of their identification within the national urban system. The purpose of this study is to establish a method for the identification of the set of medium-sized cities within the network of urban settlements, with particular reference to Central Serbia. The authors also compare the method with the one used in Slovenia in order to demonstrate that the phrase "medium-sized city" may have different meanings depending on the context in which it is defined. Along with the demographic size as the most important indicator in defining medium-sized cities, economic, social, functional, infrastructural and institutional criteria have also been taken into consideration.

Conjunctive and prepositional comparatives in Slovenian ,Philology. Linguistics ,P1-1091 - Abstract
The paper deals with the distribution of conjunctive and prepositional comparative structures in Slovenian. They are introduced by the complementiser kot and the preposition od, respectively. Comparative structures are categorised along three dimensions: (i) the morphological environment of the comparative morpheme (yielding amount and quality comparatives); (ii) the syntactic environment of the comparative morpheme (eight syntactic environments are discussed: (nominative) subject, (accusative) direct object, (dative) indirect object, prepositional object, locative adverbial, temporal adverbial, some other adverbial, and predicate); (iii) the syntactic environment (the same environments as above are discussed) of the associate (the non-elided phrase in the comparative complement is the remnant; its counterpart with the same grammatical function in the matrix clause is the associate). The comparison of conjunctive and prepositional comparatives shows that the distribution of the latter is more restricted and also exhibits more inter-speaker variation than the former. Conjunctive comparatives are acceptable in virtually all combinations of the above-mentioned parameters, the only exception being quality comparatives withan adverbial or predicate associate where the comparative morpheme is embedded in the associate. The only absolute generalisation that can be made about prepositional comparatives is that the associate must be either a subject or a direct object; all other generalisations are merely tendencies.

Ob tem moramo izključiti druge bolezni jeter in druge vzroke zamaščenosti jeter.

child ,non-alcoholic steatohepatitis ,non-alcoholic fatty liver disease ,recommendations ,Medicine ,Pediatrics ,RJ1-570 - Abstract
Paediatric non-alcoholic fatty liver disease is a chronic liver disease resulting from excessive fat accumulation in the liver. It is closely associated with obesity and some other risk factors. In the last few years, its prevalence in the developed world has been increasing rapidly alongside paediatric obesity. It is generally asymptomatic and is accidentally dis-covered when diagnosing other diseases or during systematic examinations. The additional presence of inflammatory signs is characteristic of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis, which may progress to cirrhosis and end-stage liver disease. The initial diagnosis is based on non-invasive methods (blood tests, ultrasound), but in some cases, the definite diagnosis is based on liver biopsy. Other causes of liver disease and hepatic steatosis must be excluded. The frequency and methods of follow-up are dependent on the presence of risk factors and the severity of the liver changes. First-line treatment is based on lifestyle changes with weight reduction, minimizing risk factors and increasing physical activity. Medical treatment or nutritional supplements are currently not prescribed due to insufficient evidence. A practical approach to a child with fatty liver disease is illustrated by a case presentation.
