Lactiplantibacillus plantarum is a probiotic starter culture that improves the flavor and nutritional content of fermented foods. It also shows potential in enhancing mucosal and systemic immunity, which contributes to overall health. We aimed to examine the complex genetic composition of the L. plantarum 13–3 via a detailed analysis of comparative genomics and our findings discovered that this genome displays high efficacy and conciseness as a nutrition enhancer, encompassing a cumulative sum of 2921 genes encoding proteins and a GC content of 45%. This study clarifies the evolutionary lineage of L. plantarum strains by examining the level of gene order conservation and synteny across various strains. Our strain has been found to possess a range of genetic components, including bacteriocin gene clusters and prophage regions, which indicates its potential applicability in various fields, including biotechnology and medicine. The unique genetic components have the potential to reveal novel therapeutic and biotechnological applications in the future.

Through the lens of paradoxical structure of “relevance” and its double movement of “différance”, this paper points out that, although Derrida’s deconstructive translation thoughts does not provide methodological guidance for translation practice, it emphasizes the necessity of employing a risky economy of “conditionally relevant” calculations and strategies in specific contexts to express fidelity to the impossibility of “unconditionally relevant”. It employs phenomenological methods to argue that untranslatability carries critical significance that surpasses mere phenomenological intuition, while also revealing the nuanced interplay between translatability and untranslatability. Ultimately, this paper contributes to translation theory by illustrating how Derrida’s concepts of conditional relevance can inform more inventive and sensitive translation practices, enabling translators to navigate the complexities of meaning while maintaining fidelity to the unintelligible in the source text.

ABSTRACTThis study utilized column chromatography and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) to isolate and identify 42 compounds in Potentilla fruticosa L. (PL), which compound 10 and 35 were preliminarily identified. Compounds 5–9, 11–13, 16, 17, 20, 23, 24 and 28 (total 14 polyphenols) promoted glucose consumption in IEC cells, exhibiting potential in reducing blood glucose levels. Mechanistic analysis revealed that the 14 polyphenols significantly inhibited α-glucosidase activity, and (expressed as semi-inhibitory concentration values) the capacity ranking is 13 > 9 > 12 > 5 > 16 > 8 > 17 > 7 > 6 > 11 > 28 > 23 > 24 > 20. Molecular docking showed that all 14 polyphenols have an active binding site with α-glucosidase, and the binding energy is all lower than −6.0 kcal·mol−1, thereby inhibiting the entry of p-nitrophenyl-d-glucoside. The results show that PL polyphenols can be used as effective α-glucosidase inhibitors.

The rapid development of the new generation of digital technology has injected new vitality into the digital transformation (DT) and continued growth of enterprises. This paper selects data from China's A-share listed companies from 2010 to 2019 and uses transaction cost theory to empirically test the effect of enterprise digital transformation (EDT) on enterprise growth and its mechanism. Research has found that DT can significantly promote enterprise growth. The reduction of supply chain collaboration costs plays an important role as an intermediary mechanism in this process. At the same time, industry competition intensity, regional marketization level, and digital infrastructure level have played positive regulatory roles. In addition, when the enterprise's level of financing constraints is low and it is a manufacturing enterprise or state-owned enterprise, the promotion effect of EDT on enterprise growth is more significant. While expanding the research perspective and measurement methods of EDT, this paper integrates the strategic actions of EDT and the inter-enterprise collaboration costs of the supply chain into a unified theoretical framework, revealing a new theoretical mechanism for DT to promote enterprise growth. It also provides practical inspiration for relevant policy formulation and enterprise transformation and upgrading.

Objetivo. Investigar la seguridad y la eficacia de la discectomía endoscópica percutánea (DEP) y de la discectomía fenestrada (DF) en el tratamiento de la hernia de disco lumbar. Método. Se analizaron retrospectivamente los datos clínicos completos de 87 pacientes con hernia de disco lumbar. De acuerdo con el tratamiento prescrito, los pacientes fueron divididos en grupo control (DF, n = 39) y grupo de estudio (DEP, n = 48). Se compararon las condiciones básicas de funcionamiento de los dos grupos y se evaluaron los resultados de la cirugía, la incidencia de complicaciones y la calidad de vida al año de la operación. Resultados. Ambos grupos completaron la operación. En el grupo de estudio, las puntuaciones en la escala visual análoga y ODI disminuyeron significativamente, mientras que las puntuaciones JOA aumentaron significativamente. La tasa de éxito de la operación en el grupo de estudio fue significativamente mayor que en el grupo control, y la incidencia de complicaciones fue significativamente menor que en el grupo control. No hubo diferencia significativa en la calidad de vida entre los dos grupos (p > 0.05). Conclusiones. La tasa de éxito del tratamiento con DEP fue mayor, y el tiempo de recuperación fue más rápido y más seguro que con la DF.

ABSTRACT This study investigated oxidative damage and exocrine dysfunction of fetal pancreas caused by maternal nutritional restriction. Eighteen ewes carrying singleton fetus were randomly divided into control group (CG, ad libitum, 0.67 MJ ME/BW0.75/d, n = 6), restricted group 1 (RG1, 0.33 MJ ME/BW0.75/d, n = 6), and restricted group 2 (RG2, 0.18 MJ ME/BW0.75/d, n = 6) at d 90 of pregnancy. Maternal undernutrition was imposed from d 90 to 140 of pregnancy. At 140 d of gestation, fetal blood and pancreas tissue were collected to determine fetal pancreatic extracellular matrix, antioxidant capacity, and indicators of exocrine dysfunction. With the decrease of maternal nutrition, the fetal body weight, pancreatic weight, and DNA content were reduced in RG2 compared with CG, and increased and thickened collagen fibers were observed in RG2. Fetuses in RG2 exhibited increased collagen 3 (COL3) and fibronectin (FN) levels relative to CG, and the COL1:COL3 ratio was lower than that of the CG. For RG1, we found increased COL3 compared with CG. Malondialdehyde, serum amylase, and serum lipase in fetal pancreas in RG2 increased, but the total antioxidant capacity (T-AOC) decreased compared with the CG. The impaired ovine fetal pancreas growth, antioxidant imbalance, and pancreatic exocrine dysfunction are induced by maternal undernutrition during late pregnancy.

In previous work, the facile method to prepare perylene diimide radical anion salt by alkali treatment was reported. However, the effects of structure on synthetic process of perylene diimide radical anion salt, and the difference of response to Cu 2+ are not thoroughly understood. In this work, two bay-substituted perylene diimide derivatives radical anion salts have been synthesized and characterized in order to study the influence of the bay-substituted groups on the formation condition of the corresponding radical anion salt, and the sensitivity to Cu 2+. The result indicates that the perylene diimide with electron-donating groups (-O-Ph) at bay position was much easier to get the air-stable radical anion salts and had higher sensitivity to Cu 2+ compared to the perylene diimide with electron-withdrawing groups (-Br) at bay position.

En 2020, China eliminó la pobreza regional general y terminó la ardua tarea de resolver el problema de la pobreza absoluta. Aunque existe un problema real persistente de pobreza relativa, el riesgo objetivo de caer en una trampa de pobreza en las regiones subdesarrolladas de China razonablemente no existe. Este artículo analiza cuatro perspectivas que sustentan tal afirmación: la institucional, la histórica, la individual y la espiritual.

Objetivo: El artículo se propone describir un sistema de desarrollo del profesorado chino de español como lengua extranjera (ELE) que favorezca el desempeño profesional, a partir de la contextualización de los métodos y procedimientos más recientes al contexto universitario chino. Métodos: El estudio se realizó mediante la revisión documental y la consulta de la bibliografía que aborda los estudios ELE, la observación participante y el registro de sistematización de experiencias en la impartición de clases a estudiantes chinos de la Universidad de Estudios Internacionales de Hebei. Resultados: El resultado fundamental del estudio es un sistema de desarrollo de los profesores chinos de ELE, fundamentado desde los antecedentes y principios generales de la enseñanza de lenguas extranjeras y su contextualización a la formación universitaria china. Conclusión: El desarrollo del profesor chino de ELE debe caracterizarse por el desarrollo de competencias para el ejercicio de la docencia, sobre la base de la apropiación crítica de los fundamentos del enfoque orientado a la acción (lo internacional), el enfoque electivo de los aciertos de los métodos precedentes, la tradición educativa del país y la visión de la educación universitaria de la reforma educativa china.
