- Abstract
This paper studies introduction and conclusion sections of papers produced by Spanish PhD Students in an academic writing workshop. Based on Swales's CARS model, the aim is to analyze the movements, steps, and substeps accomplished in the construction of the introduction (Carbonell-Olivares, Gil-Salom, y Soler- Monreal, 2009) and concluding sections (Yag y Alison, 2003). With regard to introductions, results of the study confirm, in line with previous studies, that movement 1 (M1) and 3 (M3) are considered compulsory by Spanish writers. Moreover, participants consider more important to establish the topic of the research than highlighting the significance and originality of the work. In the case of the conclusions, there is a presence of the three prototypical sections (M1-M2-M3). Nevertheless, the main focus in on the summary (M1) and the evaluation of the results (M2). This paper discusses distortions of scientific practices, generated from evaluation policies, from validation of scientific relevance or papers' production. The document suggests that over dimension of publications as a research final goal ignores other alternatives for evaluation of scientific relevance and research dissemination. In addition, as a balance of the distortion, this document proposes the progression Issues, Programs, Policies, Research (PPPI for his acronyms in Spanish). This strategy promotes research's use in educational practices and policies, and recovers user engagement in social and educational research. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

A model of a paper napkins winder based on Newton's second law is described. A method for controlling angular velocity with a splitter controller developed in a PLC to enhance the action of the controller present on a Siemens SINAMICS drive line is proposed. The tension is measured by a sensor and converted to current signal to be sent to the PLC Splitter in order to soften it before entering Sinamics PID controller to keep the process within the desired range of control. A simulation of the industrial application is performed by Matlab's Simulink® and validates the real controller design. Finally, obtained and verified control is implemented on a paper napkins processing machine, where the results show the effectiveness of the proposed controller. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper is a product from the study of educational research disciplinary conformation in Mexico, and its relationship with the national research system's institutionalization through the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT). Its purpose is to identify the articulation between the theoretical and methodological nuclei that outcome from sociology with the most relevant historical events at the genesis of the Educational System of Mexico, which have stimulated the formation of the country's scientific field of education. Throughout the paper, the relation between the research paradigms, the classical and contemporary theoretical production of education's sociology and the critical events in which the national educational system was consolidated, are stablished. - Abstract
In this paper we aim to explore the interconnection between Children's Literature and contemporary technologies, though not from the perspective of technology as a didactic tool or as a media to produce or reproduce literary texts. Instead, we examine how technology is present in books for children and picture books. This approach is based on the concepts of children's literature, and childhood and technologies. We also present an initial corpus of stories and picture books either about technology or in which technology structures the book or the narrative. Our conclusion is that in some texts the encounter of both worlds produces significant literary experiences. However, there is a literary core that cannot be integrated with technology. This tension is also part of the cultural representations. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
The aim of this paper is to describe academic self-efficacy in students of technical-professional training at a university in the south of Chile. Numerous studies have established that, in order to have autonomous and self-regulated students, it is necessary for them to be academically self-efficient and the literature shows that the teacher with a self-efficient teaching identity promotes this type of competences in the students. The research is ascribed within the positivist paradigm, with a quantitative research approach that seeks objectivity, describing, explaining, proving and/or predicting phenomena, using data collection with the purpose of testing hypotheses through statistical analysis. The design is non-experimental, since it is carried out without manipulating the variables and the situations are not intentionally provoked. Additionally, it is of a cross-sectional nature, since the data are collected at a single moment of the research, to analyze the relationship at a given time. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to trace U.S. imaginaries, representations, and uses made during the cycle of Latin America's centennial celebrations by a number of men of culture, diplomacy, and regional politics who played prominent roles in discussions about how the countries in the subcontinent should position themselves and act toward one another and toward the United States. By analyzing the multiple references and uses of symbols, signs, and other attributes of the Northern nation that circulated between 1910 and 1926 in a series of speeches, conferences, essays, articles, and books -largely unnoticed by the historiography on the subject-, it will be possible to observe how different images of such country were constructed and disseminated in order to promote and legitimize certain political-ideological searches and bets. Contrary to readings that have reduced the Latin American map at the time to the tension between Pan-Americanism and anti-imperialism, this article ultimately aims to make this image more complex by repositioning other uses and meanings around the United States at a particular moment of the continent's history, in which its imperialist expansion encountered a systematic search by Latin American countries to reassert their interests, positions, and national identities. This paper analyzes the development of Pitrufquén (located in the Araucanía Region, Chile, and founded in 1897) from a historical, territorial, urban, and architectural point of view. It is proposed that the city’s development is framed in a new moment, where the Chilean State abandons military criteria and assumes economic-territorial factors where the railroad’s presence is a determining factor. The choice of the site, its particular layout, and the development of its architecture are evidence of this change. From the historical point of view, it is analyzed how, in Pitrufquén, the Mapuche society had cattle raising as the main economic activity, as it had pastures to feed the cattle, the land was suitable for crops, and there was a vital ford to cross the Toltén River. This strategic location was maintained and accentuated by the city’s founding and the railroad’s arrival in 1898, turning the town into a railhead for progress towards the south of the country. In the case of the urban layout, its peculiarity was addressed since, together with Lonquimay, these are the only sections in the La Araucanía region organized based on an ellipse, which, in the case of Pitrufquén, also coexists with a checkerboard layout. The study analyzed its squares, diagonal avenues, and the perimeter ring road. At an architectural level, the article explores the three layers or aspects of the city: The first one studies the wooden architecture with works from the late 19th and early 20th centuries; the second refers to public architecture, represented by buildings such as the municipality, public services, the post office, and others; and a third layer addresses the modern architecture, such as housing and stores from the period between 1940 and 1960. According to Diogenes Laertius, Hipparchia of Maroneia decided to use for her education the time she was going to waste on the loom (VI98=SSR V I 1). The aim of this paper is to analyze the reason and implications of this decision. I will point out that it is based on the gender equality thesis supported by the Cynics, and I will try to show that it has at least two implications: not only the defense of a certain kind of education, but also of parrhesia, i.e. the practice of free, frank, and open discourse. - Abstract
Although some have attempted to rethink the subject of technology from the perspective of Søren Kierkegaard's philosophy, there hast not yet been a direct dialogue with the transhumanist position. In this paper, we propose a new approach, understood as a criticism, from the thought of Kierkegaard to transhumanism and its concept of singularity. We, first, analyze the way in which transhumanists understand the concept of singularity and what its limitations are; then, with the help of Kierkegaard's philosophy, we argue that the only possible and real singularity is the human person as a primordial relationship, source of anguish and freedom, sin and love, and spirit. We also argue that this relationship cannot be reproduced by any artificial creation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
Clinical judgement has become a central topic in both medicine and the philosophy since the 1960s. With the development of evidence-based medicine in the 1990s, clinical judgment is expected to be more sensitive to the needs and preferences of patients in the face of threats from positivist approaches that are considered to neglect individuality. This paper addresses this problem in the light of a philosophy of medicine that is more sensitive to the historical components of epistemology, ontology, and ethics. The analysis is directed to the 19th century in order to elucidate the tensions about the place of medical knowledge and the commitment, for the sake of professional improvement, to provide clinical judgment with new methods. This trip to the past is useful to understand the current transformations in the field of medicine, especially the way in which they help constitute new types of patients, new types of professional ethos, and new forms of relationship between these actors. - Abstract
This paper is motivated by the problem of collective responsibility for the actions committed by our ancestors and by the question about the legitimacy of demands for forgiveness. Turning to the conceptual universe of Hannah Arendt, this argues for the exercise of the capacity for judgment as a catalyst for both the demand for forgiveness and collective responsibility. Forgiveness is thus presented not only as a moral category but as fundamentally political one, essential for reconciling with what has happened and for looking to the future with hope. 167. ¿Es el acto algo real? Hipótesis para solucionar algunos problemas derivados de la interpretación praxeológica del concepto noológico de "acto".

Prada Rodríguez, Manuel Leonardo
- Abstract
The first part of this paper explains the praxeological interpretation of the noological concept of act. The second part describes Antonio González Fernández's criticisms of that notion. His objection consists in pointing out that acts cannot be considered real things, but only the arising of these. From this observation on noology, González Fernández not only gives rise to his praxeology (also known as hiparqueology), but also his philosophical system begins to be questioned for not explaining what acts are, in the world of facts, beyond the assumption that they are there, despite being invisible. In the third and last section, some hypotheses are presented to address objections to the praxeological concept of act, such as the one mentioned above and the apparent circularities and possible contradictions within the praxeological system. - Abstract
In this paper, I present the step from isomorphism to isodynamism in Gilbert Simondon's philosophy. For this, I first explain the isomorphism argument and some of its implications and critiques. Then, I discuss some elements of Simondon's individuation theory regarding being and becoming. Lastly, I analyze this change from isomorphism to isodynamism and I offer examples of some possible derivations of isodynamism. Basically, this process involves a change in perspective, from structural similarity to operational analogy--for example, between different levels of being (physicochemical, biological and psychosocial). - Abstract
In this paper, I inquire into the notion of background in the philosophy of Charles Taylor and seek to complement it with reflections made by Hubert Dreyfus. This notion aims to counteract the cognitive representationalism that Descartes's thought tremendously promoted and that has been largely perpetuated by modern epistemology. Representationalism, for Taylor, makes us open to anthropologies based on ontologies of disengagement (dualism and mechanistic monism), an imprint which decisively influenced modern and contemporary philosophy despite the efforts of different schools of thought that claim to have overcome it. For Dreyfus, the notion of background is linked to our social practices, and Heidegger's controversial "the One" (das Man) is its privileged place of transmission; it is also that which would definitively collapse the Cartesian representationalist legacy. In this paper, I claim that the distinction between "philosophy" and "spirituality" can be a key for understanding Foucault's work, assuming that his philosophy and historical thought do possess a "spiritual dimension." For this purpose, I analyze the figures of transgression and pensée du dehors of the archaeological period, the figures of resistance and criticism as reflexive indocility of the genealogical period, and the fold of the ethical period. I determine whether they can be considered a spiritual dimension that promotes être autrement. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
This paper offers a systematic and doxographical reconstruction of the phenomena of delay and lateness in Martin Heidegger's thought between 1919 and 1930. In the first section, we trace the ambiguities that permeate the nominalization and formalization of delay in order to thematize immediately after the disruptive structure of four modes of delay understood as constitutive within Heidegger's early work. We account for the way in which delay carries an illuminating potential that phenomenologically ensures the evidencing of the constituent dimension. In the second section, we descend to the immanent transformations of Heidegger's philosophy in order to account for two possibilities of philosophy's self-understanding on the basis of delay and lateness, precisely from two modes of relation with the constituent dimension of the appearing: on the one hand, a mode marked by crepuscular lateness, and on the other hand, an executive mode based on auroral delay. - Abstract
In this paper, I interpret the first four sections of Human, All Too Human I to argue that Nietzsche's philosophy has diagnostic and therapeutic ambitions. In the first section, I show that his philosophy is psychological. In the second section, I illustrate the descriptive psychology of Nietzsche's philosophy, for which metaphysical doctrines rest on psychological misunderstandings and highly valued sensations and conceptions are based on selfish motives and mistakes of reason. In the third section, I argue that Nietzsche's philosophy is also medical and intellectualist: his inquiry into human psychology allows him, first, to diagnose two types of illnesses, one caused by scientific knowledge (existential illness) and the other caused by metaphysical doctrines (nervous illness), and second, to cure both types of diseases by eliminating their causes with this same scientific knowledge. This paper analyzes the foreword to the Science of Logic (WdL) from 1812. It answers the following questions: what is WdL about? What is the logic in the Science of Logic? Is the term "logic" just a substitute for "metaphysics" or, rather, is WdL the inception of a completely new discipline, quite different from metaphysics in the traditional sense? I reach the conclusion that, in WdL, logic is the development of the concept expressed as social freedom. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
This paper seeks to describe F. H. Jacobi's critique of transcendental philosophy concerning the problem of affection and the thing in itself. This critique attributes to Kant's thought an idealism incompatible with any notion of realism. Jacobi's interpretation, however, rests on an ignorance of the methodological-transcendental nature not only of the terminology involved in the problem of affection, but of the whole Kantian reflection about knowledge. The exegetical model of the two aspects view has provided instruments that allowed for a hermeneutical reconstruction of the problem of affection and put in evidence the methodological mistake present in Jacobi's critique. In this paper we analyse the expectations regarding university studies and career choice of first-generation university students and graduates. Our interest in this particular population is due to the fact that they are atypical cases. The theoretical perspective is the relationship with knowledge and dispositionalist and contextualist sociology. The methodology is qualitative and we used in-depth interviews with a sample of 35 students from three degree courses at the National University of La Plata. The families and the school experience were central in the construction of expectations, while the choice of career was defined on the basis of the transit through secondary school, in the university experience itself as well as in other non-school environments. State negotiations constitute the foundation for the development of each nation, relying on the acquisition of resources and services. Public procurement not only has economic and social impacts but also demands that public officials ensure compliance with the law. However, some of these officials have violated the legal principles of public procurement, seeking to obtain benefits, goods, or personal services without legal backing. In studies conducted in Ecuador, this phenomenon has been analyzed in relation to the variability of indeter-minacies that public officials face in interpreting regulations. Therefore, this paper focuses on analyzing and defining the levels of indeterminacy present in the neutrosophic variable that influences the functioning of state negotiations. The use of neutrosophic statistics is suggested for modeling the study to detect indeterminacies of the variable in each dimension. Among the neutrosophic results, the misuse of government policies in state negotiation processes is identified as the sole criterion. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper presents a neutrosophic study on attitudes towards virtual technology, with a special focus on the "Experience Machine". Employing a methodology that incorporates the theory of indecision and neutrality into response analysis, the perceptions of 50 university students were investigated. Opinions and feelings were transformed into neutrosophic numbers to calculate contradiction and conduct a detailed analysis. The results indicate a predisposition towards agreement with virtual technology, although notable indecision and a significant presence of neutral attitudes were detected. The correlations and clustering methods applied reveal a complex dynamic of attitudes, challenging binary interpretations and highlighting the need for more nuanced strategies. This neutrosophic approach offers new perspectives for the development and marketing of innovative technologies, recognizing the diversity of emotions and opinions in user responses to emerging technologies. - Abstract
The United Nations claims that education is a crucial element in reducing poverty rates in any country if it is accessible, adaptable, acceptable, and affordable; known as the 4A's of education, which are considered within the national education policy. This paper analyzes the effect of the 4A's of education on multidimensional moderate-income poverty and extreme income poverty in Mexico in the years 2010 and 2020. This is achieved with the analysis of microdata from the Module of Socioeconomic Conditions of the National Survey of Household Income and Expenditure (MCS - ENIGH) 2010 and 2020 and with dichotomous logit models. The results indicate that the 4A's have a greater effect on the reduction of multidimensional extreme income poverty than on moderate, even over different periods. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
This paper employs a panel data model to study the impact of six key variables, three of them directly related to the COVID-19 pandemic, on Mexican manufacturing exports. The panel comprises the 21 manufacturing subsectors and monthly data during the January 2020-December 2022 period. Moreover, the model specification entails supply- as well as demand-side variables. The two estimation techniques are ordinary least squares and twostage least squares. The second estimation procedure corrects for endogeneity problems and is complemented by remedial measures to achieve more efficient parameter estimates. Along these lines, the evidence is robust in showing that manufacturing exports respond positively to an increase in external demand, a real currency depreciation, a drop in unit labor costs (ULC), a wider coverage of vaccination campaigns, and a relaxation of social distancing measures. Given that ULC fall as labor productivity rises, there is a valid rationale to conclude that investing in highquality formal education, training and skill development could be an effective measure to raise exports. Likewise, the effects of the vaccination efforts highlights the relevance of coordinating economic policy with health policy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
From 2004 to the present, eleven Argentine provinces have had laws on Mandatory Open Simultaneous Primaries (PASO, in Spanish) and have enforced them at least once. Their creation sought to democratize the selection of candidates through mandatory primary elections for political parties and voters. The PASO law has been criticized because political parties come to agreements on single lists of candidates, complying with the mandatory rule but avoiding internal competition. This paper investigates the factors that have influenced the strategies of agreement or dispute within political spaces, based on the measurement of the number of internal lists presented in PASO. To carry out the analysis, an observational study was conducted by examining the strategies of the main political forces in eleven Argentine provinces. Three political-institutional variables were studied: 1) the re-election of the governor, 2) the electoral calendar, and 3) government vs. opposition. The results show that when the governor does not run for re-election and the electoral calendar is split, there are greater chances of internal dispute between more than one list. Likewise, being part of the opposition was not a determining factor for the dispute between two or more internal lists. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
This article contributes to developing and consolidating research on the connections between food and gentrification while highlighting the effects of these processes in areas beyond urban life. To achieve this, we draw on the concept of value chains connecting gentrified neighborhoods to rural agricultural communities. In this chain, processes of valorization and devaluation are generated, which unevenly affect the actors involved in the production and consumption of food. The paper focuses on the conflicts and contestations along the value chain of gentrification, putting interdisciplinary contributions into dialogue while presenting four cases from secondary sources. These cases are illustrative of how these processes operate at different levels, territories, and scales: signature coffee, as a symbol of distinction in gentrified neighborhoods; the avocado from its gastronomic manifestation as avocado toast; wine, from the touristification of its production to valorization strategies in urban consumption; and quinoa, from the patenting of new varieties to the development of markets that exclude large sectors of the population. The boom in the circulation of these foods has the effect of capital accumulation by dispossession in both rural and urban areas and in both production and consumption processes. Higher Education must confront the challenges of Environmental Education and socioeducational inclusion. In order to address these challenges, methodologies such as Service-Learning have been employed to enhance the awareness of the university community regarding their environmental needs. This paper presents the University Service-Learning Project developed with 44 students of the Degrees in Early Childhood Education and Social Education and 10 students with intellectual disabilities of the Inclusive University Studies of a public university (Madrid). The main objective is to promote quality, inclusive and sustainable education in the university community through Service-Learning. The methodology is quantitative and exploratory. Through a questionnaire designed ad hoc and validated by experts, a descriptive and inferential analysis of the data has been carried out, applying Chi-square to determine the existence of differences between participants. The results show a high valuation by the students, highlighting significant differences with respect to some variables, especially in favor of students with disabilities and students of the Degree in Social Education. We conclude the value of this methodology for eco-sustainable university education as it favors the inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities, curricular sustainability and compliance with university social responsibility and the 2030 Agenda. - Abstract
As social interest in improving the training and attitudes of future secondary education teachers towards students with disabilities increases, there is a need for instruments that meet these needs and serve to evaluate their effectiveness. The purpose of this paper is to examine the psychometric characteristics of the Attitude Scale for People with Disabilities (EAPD) developed by Arias et al. (2016). A covariance-based structural equation modeling has been performed, using the weighted least squares estimation method with chi-square adjusted for mean and variance, and the ordinal omega coefficient to estimate internal consistency. The sample is composed of 400 students of the Master’s Degree in Teacher of Compulsory Secondary Education and Baccalaureate, Vocational Training and Language Teaching (MUFPS) from different Spanish universities. The analysis of the EAPD has shown that this scale can be interpreted by three dimensions: (a) Social and personal relationships with people with disabilities-RS, (b) Normalized life-VN and (c) Intervention programs-PI. However, this study presents as a finding a second-order structure that allows to conclude the interpretation of this scale jointly, the latter being an important finding in the educational field. - Abstract
Creativity is important in the life of the human being because it allows us to create new ideas and different points of view. For people with intellectual disabilities, creativity is a very valuable tool that stimulates divergent thinking, promotes self-esteem and helps them develop communication and social skills, which will allow them to better integrate into society. This paper aims to analyze the creative potential in people with intellectual disabilities between 17 and 27 years old and compare it with people without intellectual disabilities. The design of this research belongs to the ex post facto quantitative paradigm. The sample is made up of a total of 84 participants with and without intellectual disabilities, who have been administered an adaptation of the Torrance Test (1974), which allows us to measure creativity based on 4 dimensions: fluency, originality, flexibility and elaboration. The results indicate that people without intellectual disabilities have greater creative potential, which allows us to conclude on the need to promote the development of this capacity in the educational field, being one of the aspects that must be present in the interventions of people with intellectual disabilities. ENGINEERING education , *PROBLEM solving , *HIGHER education , *HEURISTIC , *CREATIVE ability , *STRATEGIC planning - Abstract
This paper aims to design a guide for engineering problem solving with a mathematical approach, based on the use of creative, heuristic and reasoning strategies. The research is divided in two phases: the literature review and the conception of a guide for engineering problems with an open or closed solution. This guide combines the engineering method with algorithmic and heuristic-creative components in three steps: a) understanding, approaching and characterising the problem; b) planning, tackling and deciding on the best alternative; and c) solving, reviewing and evaluating the problem. The authors conclude that this guide will allow future engineers to reach a solution to a problem considering the implications in the financial, technical, environmental and other domains. ETHNOLOGY , *HISTORY education , *YOUTHS' attitudes , *SCHOOL environment - Abstract
The ways in which the recent past of political violence is presented to the students is one of the fundamental tasks of contemporary education. However, it is often constricted by the rational and cognitive objectives of the duty of memory. In response to this, in this paper I propose an ethnographic gaze, attentive and sensitive to the textures of its daily performance, in order to contribute in a more solid and realistic way to the pedagogy of the duty of remembrance. This look has allowed me, in an investigation carried out in La Plata (Buenos Aires, Argentina) in 2018, to account for the intertwining of the work around the recent past with the school culture and the disciplinary code of history, with the relationships that the subjects have with each other and, through the links they build between different temporalities, with multiple attitudes and values. - Abstract
This paper aims to add to the holistic understanding of natural, social and cultural systems. For this purpose, a case study is presented in which the interactions between biota and climate are characterized, based on the traditional ecological knowledge of the Zapotec inhabitants of Santa María Lachichina, Oaxaca, Mexico, one of the regions with high biocultural diversity in Mexico. The results are developed from ethnographic work, together with the use of ethnobiological techniques: the snowball technique, participant observation, different types of interviews and the use of a field diary. In order to approach the organisms, taxonomic correlation work was carried out, without resorting to the collection of biological samples. Among the features that stand out in the interactions recorded, physical (coloration) and ethological (communication processes and ecological preferences) attributes specific to the organisms are identified. Being located in a territory where each place has its own social, biological and ecological qualities, organisms maintain relationships that show general patterns and, at the same time, specificities in each of them. On both scales, clarity is found by attending to the reasons why each organism emits a certain stimulus capable of becoming an omen. The final reflections arise precisely from the need to analyze knowledge on both particular and general scales, within the community and in comparison with other mesoamerican tradition people, since only together can the complexity of traditional ecological knowledge be measured. INFORMATION & communication technologies , *DIGITAL literacy , *META-analysis , *DIGITAL technology , *EDUCATIONAL technology - Abstract
The present study was a meta-analysis compiling research on digital citizenship conducted in Mexico in 2011 - 2023. It was guided by the objective of arguing, analyzing and categorizing the lines of knowledge generation and application (LGAC) related to digital citizenship in Mexico. The methodology applied was meta-analysis where 88 research studies were documented: 47 papers, 33 journal articles and 8 theses. The studies found support the existence of six LGAC in Mexico. It was concluded that the studies are related to understanding the way in which society appropriates digital technologies, interactions through social networks and the manifestations of digital identity. Another point to highlight is that the study of digital citizenship has been used to analyze the acquisition of digital skills and attitudes, social issues addressed by digitalization, the roles played by educational actors in the virtual environment and the promotion of multiculturalism. The studies found provide relevance to the LGAC, and allow concluding that digital citizenship is a topic present in research on educational technology in Mexico. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

COLLEGE teachers , *DIGITAL literacy , *CORE competencies , *INFORMATION & communication technologies , *VIRTUAL reality , *EDUCATIONAL planning , *EDUCATIONAL resources - Abstract
The purpose of this research is to analyze the acquisition of teachers' digital competencies through the use of virtual environments and information and communication technologies to improve the teaching-learning process. A systematic review was conducted through the search and compilation of empirical studies over five years (2019 to 2023), in the specialized databases: Scopus, Redalyc, SciELO, and the academic search engine Google Scholar. Based on the PRISMA statement, and through inclusion and exclusion criteria, a total of fourteen research papers were selected. After examining them, it was possible to identify how digital literacy through the use of virtual learning environments influences the development of teaching work and performance and consequently also contributes to student learning. Among the digital skills most used by teachers that have allowed innovation and improvement of the teaching process are mainly the management of information and mastery of digital tools for the creation and management of educational resources. TEACHER training , *PROFESSIONAL education , *DIGITAL literacy , *PROGRAM improvement (Education) - Abstract
This paper presents the results of a research work focused on identifying educational improvements needs in the field of digital teaching skills (DTS) in higher education, specifically in a Teacher Training College. There are several frameworks to assess this, however, this research focused on those related to the competence: communication and collaboration described in the Marco Común de Competencias Digitales Docentes (MCCDD) (INTEF, 2017). The pandemic evidenced as an emerging requirement in terms of the DTS also national and international foundations in which it is highlighted how these are essential to support lifelong learning and to inclusion. Ten teachers from Veracruz participated in the study through the focus group technique, which made it possible to recover information to learn about their perspectives on the training needs they identified in the area of the DTS, both in themselves and in the degree program in education in which they teach. The MAXQDA program was used to analyze the information and graphs were created with the segments of their oral participations. The results are shown in Unique-Code Model (summaries) of each skill in the area of communication and collaboration. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper provides pioneering estimates of the impact of loan-to-value (LTV) ratios, also known as leverage, on Bolivia's GDP. The empirical evidence reveals the pro-cyclicality between the economic and financial cycles, which affects the intertemporal resource allocation processes between the financial and real sectors. The findings from the RBC model demonstrate that shocks in the loan-to-value (LTV) ratios trigger a rise in housing prices and greater consumption by entrepreneurs, leading to an increase in investment, employment, and output. Additionally, the study confirms that LTV ratios can be a double-edged instrument, as excessive use can potentially destabilize the economy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

PROPOSITION (Logic) , *JUDGMENT (Logic) , *TRUTH - Abstract
The aim of this paper is to offer an interpretation, partially novel, of passage 5.54-5.5423 of the Tractatus in which Wittgenstein examines the propositions that represent intentional relations such as judgment. The fundamental idea will be that these propositions are thought of as propositions about complexes and, consequently, should be analyzed in accordance with paragraph 2.0201, which will lead me to develop step by step the proposed analysis. Furthermore, I will argue that Wittgenstein's theory, understood in this way, rules out the possibility of judging nonsense, unlike Russell's theory of judgment as a multiple relation. In this paper I will discuss some logical problems of omnipotence which go beyond the classical paradoxes of this notion. I will present a refined version of Fitch's paradox of omnipotence which takes into account the distinction between basic and derived actions, as well as the distinction between one's being able to do something and it being metaphysically possible that one does it. I will also explain how to modify the paradox to obtain a liar-like version of it which threatens the consistency of certain notions of omnipotence. Lastly, I will assess some possible replies available to the theist and an attempt to use the paradox as an argument for God's existence. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Several philosophers have proposed an "algebraic" view of universals according to which there are operations from universals to universals. It is not obvious, nevertheless, how those operations should be interpreted, and what impact they have for the conditions of identity of universals. There are two main interpretations of the algebra of universals. On one hand, it has been interpreted as ways to "construct" complex universals. On the other hand, it has been interpreted as "morphisms" or "mappings", but not as something that "builds" complex universals from others more basic. In this paper, the comparative advantages of both conceptions are assessed and reasons are offered to prefer the second conception. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
Objective/context: In 2009, the law of mandatory, simultaneous, and open primaries (PASO, for its acronym in Spanish) was enacted in Argentina. Among others, this regulation seeks to democratize party structures. From a gender perspective, this paper studies the effect of PASO on women's access to the Chamber of Deputies (2003-2023). To this end, it analyzes how the final lists are assembled, the places assigned to women candidates, the ease with which they gain access to expectable positions, and the permeability of groupings towards their participation since the implementation of PASO. Methodology: This is an exploratory and descriptive study of the effect of PASO on the allocation of seats for the category of female deputies in Argentina, considering all female legislators elected in successive elections (2011-2023). Conclusion: The findings show that PASO's objective of democratizing party structures and making their components more representative does not seem to have impacted the country's existing political and party traditions prior to implementing the law regarding the place given to women in a party. Originality: The article presents a study on the democratization effect of PASO on party structures from a gender perspective. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
One of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals is to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education that promotes lifelong learning opportunities for all citizens. In this context, promoting communicative competence is crucial. It enables individuals not only to understand oral and written texts in the school environment but also to function effectively in society and in interpersonal relationships. Improving the communicative ability of students is particularly important in contexts of social exclusion, where it is crucial to provide comprehensive education based on principles of quality and equity. This paper examines the adherence of Secondary Education teachers to principles and practices related to classroom methodology in environments where there is a risk of social exclusion, with special attention to the development of communication skills. To conduct the study, 407 teachers completed a 60-question questionnaire. The results provide insight into the participating teachers' perceptions of communication skills in contexts of exclusion. These findings have implications for the organizational model of schools and the training of teachers, both pre-service and in-service. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
Introduction: Allergic reactions are one of the most serious safety problems associated with the use of medications, with allergy to beta-lactam antibiotics being the most prevalent. In fact, the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI) states that penicillin allergy testing can help identify inpatients and outpatients who could safely tolerate and use this group of antibiotics and avoid labels that limit the use of beta-lactam antibiotics indefinitely. Objective: To identify the tools available in the literature to assess the history of allergy to penicillins and propose a tool that consolidates the information extracted. Methodology: Structured review on PubMed/MEDLINE between June 1, 2015 until November 30, 2022; using the search terms MeSH: (((“skin tests”[MeSH Terms]) OR (“skin irritancy tests”[MeSH Terms])) AND (“penicillins”[All Fields])) AND (“drug hypersensitivity”[MeSH Terms]). Papers in English and Spanish with access to full text and human trials, regarding available tools used to evaluate penicillin allergies were included. Results: A total of 201 articles were identified, of which after an independent evaluation, 108 were included. Among the tools to evaluate penicillin allergy, in vivo tests were identified: skin tests, oral provocation tests, patch tests and in vitro tests: specific IgE tests, determination of tryptase, histamine, T lymphocytes and basophilic activation tests. Of the patients (1181) reported with penicillin allergy, 905 (77 %) had their allergy assessed with skin testing or oral challenge tests, and only 2 % of them had a confirmed allergic reaction. Conclusion: Skin tests and oral provocation tests added to some in vivo/in vitro combinations were the most used tools to evaluate penicillin allergy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
