This research article analyzes the investigative production of the theses of the Master's program in Social Studies of the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional during the period 2008-2019, focusing on three fields of knowledge: memories, space, and collective actions., The aim is to identify their contributions to social studies and determine their relationships with contemporary social theories. Methodologically, the study was conducted through documentary research and critical content analysis of 66 theses, based on the review of research problems, theoretical and methodological references, main results, and emerging research aspects. The study concludes that the analyzed theses show a predominant interest in constructing contextual research problems from an " interdisciplinary situated" approach, as they integrate concepts, methods, and techniques from different disciplines for their development, and because they question the production of knowledge and the investigative practice itself in relation to the subjects with whom they work and the fields of knowledge in which they are involved. This article analyzes the mid-term legislative elections in Argentina, 2021, with the particularities of the current electoral rules -a decade after their first application-held in the midst of a critical pandemic context and crossed by the opposition boycott of official health measures promoted by the government. Methodology: this is interdisciplinary research, of a descriptiveexplanatory type, in which elements of electoral analysis are integrated and combined with biopolitical, necropolitical, semiotic and discursive studies. Conclusions: we conclude, still preliminarily, that the exceptional framework of the pandemic accentuated polarization, exacerbating the Government-opposition, biopolitics-necropolitics divide, superimposing historical positions with interpretations -mostly distorted- regarding health policies and State regulation. Introduction/objective: Environmental education and climate change education are two fundamental initiatives for Latin America, however, few works have described in depth the research available in the region on them. Method: A Prisma-type scoping review of empirical papers (quantitative, qualitative and mixed analysis), in Spanish, English or Portuguese, was implemented in Scielo, Redalyc and Scopus. Results: a total of 66 articles made up the final database. In general, environmental education and climate change education have been approached interdisciplinarily, although with a predominance of the field of education. The domains include environmental knowledge, pro-environmental attitudes, planting practices and animal care. There are reports at all levels of education, with a majority in higher education. The effects of the interventions are positive; however, only one research reports a record of follow-ups and in few there is a record of behaviors. Conclusions: the implications for the design of environmental education and climate change education activities are that they should address local environmental problems, integrate different disciplines, include interaction activities with nature and last more than one school semester. This editorial explores the value and viability of interdisciplinary approaches within African humanities scholarship. It argues that complex contemporary issues require perspectives spanning traditional disciplines. However, African humanities faculties remain largely siloed in colonial-legacy models limiting theoretical synergy. Pursuing meaningful interdisciplinarity has the potential to dismantle ideological constraints, better comprehend multidimensional African realities, restore epistemological cohesion severed through Western knowledge fracturing, and develop contextual, analytical tools. However, the paper cautions against superficial interdisciplinarity lacking methodological rigor or merely signalling trendiness. It stresses retaining a disciplinary base while leveraging scoping reviews to chart relevance for other fields in addressing complex questions. Harnessing interdisciplinarity's potential requires institutional structures and incentives to facilitate humanities scholars to cross boundaries without abandoning specialisation. Phenomenology has enriched film studies through the work of Christian Metz, Gilles Deleuze and Vivian Sobchack among others, but its descriptive methodology can also contribute with animation research. In this text we analyze phenomenologically the experience of watching an animated narrative in order to bring to light the a priori structures and dynamics in which animation makes sense. We will delve into the particular attitude of the subject that allows immersion in the animated narrative world, which assumes an intersubjective dimension that articulates a personal growth process with cultural practices oriented by expectations of encounter and recognition typical of contemporary communication. This phenomenological description allows us to understand the value that the audience find in animated stories. The essay also exposes the assumptions that underlie animation studies from their own theoretical frameworks and methodologies. The article "Dwelling of gods. The spiritual components of the human body among the classical Maya" by Erik Velásquez García focuses on the concepts and representations of the Classic period of the Maya. The author uses sources such as hieroglyphic inscriptions and classical Maya art to explore the sociocultural construction of the image of the person in Maya culture. The book also addresses the variations in the concepts and functions of the spiritual components of the human body in the modern and contemporary Maya world. The author carries out a multidisciplinary analysis that includes references to codices, historical, archaeological, iconographic, historical linguistics, and ethnographic sources. The text analyzes the concept of "lab" in Maya culture and how it has evolved over time. The presence of European characters in the representations of "lab" among the Tseltales of Cancuc is also mentioned. The author also addresses other concepts such as "o'hlis" and "wahyis" and their importance in Maya cosmology. In addition, topics such as the ritual power of Maya rulers and the use of body paint and attire in ritual activities are discussed. The text talks about the personification baahil rituals and the associated dances in Maya culture. The dance called Ko’Šal, celebrated in Aguacatán, Guatemala, is mentioned, which allows deceased relatives to return to the world of the living once a year. Architectural and urban legacies, particularly with cultural functions, need to be enjoyed in a democratic, participatory and inclusive manner. In this sense, a proposal is presented aimed at improving the accessibility conditions to this type of goods, focusing on people with visual disabilities. From a theoreticalpractical perspective and with the contribution of new technologies, work was done at the Victoria Ocampo Cultural Center in the city of Mar del Plata, Argentina. This Center was of interest due to its heritage values and its lack of accessibility. Therefore, the treatment of an audio guide system was undertaken through a primarily qualitative, multidisciplinary and participatory research conception, within the framework of a larger project. Background: lipoedema is a disease in which there is a pathological and excessive fat deposition in the subcutaneous cellular tissue. This pathology is chronic and progressive occurring bilaterally and symmetrically. The proposed treatment is oriented to the signs and symptoms presented by each patient and should be approached in a multidisciplinary manner. Objective: to analyse the existing literature on the role of physiotherapy in the treatment of lipoedema.Material and method: A search was carried out in January 2022 on existing publications in PubMed, Medline, CINAHL, PEDro, WOS and Scopus. Inclusion criteria were established for articles to be in English, and exclusion criteria were those that did not fit the objective, repeated articles and systematic reviews and metaanalyses. Results: we evaluated the methodological quality of the 8 articles and analysed the composition and characteristics of the intervention in each of them. The most repeated therapies are complex decongestive therapy and the intermittent pneumatic compression technique. In all the studies where they have been used, positive results have been found. Conclusions: even with the little existing scientific evidence on the exact treatment of the disease, in most of the physiotherapy treatments applied, significant improvements were achieved in terms of volume, pain, functionality and other variables analysed. Since the formation of the Research Group for the Study of Mining in Northwest Argentina (GEMINOA) a decade ago, we have been carrying out an interdisciplinary research that aims to address the mining activities developed in this region in the long-term. This paper synthesizes and expands our original depiction of colonial mining in the region, focusing on the jurisdictions of Jujuy, Salta, Catamarca, and La Rioja during the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. With this aim in mind, it combines historical sources and archaeological data (from our own work or specialized literature). Moreover, it reflects on the concepts of hegemonic and non-hegemonic mining, considering the variables that defined them and their suitability for characterizing the colonial mining developed in the region. The monastery of Santa Clara de la Columna in Belalcázar (Cordoba) is one of the most important examples of Mudejar Gothic in Andalusia. Its poor state of conservation obliged an important intervention of restoration and consolidation to be carried out. During these works, a series of panels of the Mudejar coffered ceilings with hidden paintings, were discovered, which have been subjected to an important material, architectural and graphic study. This article summarises the multidisciplinary research work that has allowed this Renaissance graffiti to be brought to light and documented, as well as its contextualisation within the artistic logic of the monastery. In the course of history, epistemological visions emerged for the methodological approach to the social fact. One that has gained legitimacy is "qualitative research." There is a polysemic diversity on this term, some call it an approach, others a paradigm, there are also those who call it a method. The purpose of the article is to examine the relevance of the denominations of approach, paradigm and method to refer to qualitative research. After carrying out a documentary review of books and specialized articles, it is postulated that it is not appropriate to call "qualitative research approach", "qualitative research paradigm" or "qualitative research method".
