Joaquín Yrizar Moya (1793-1878) stands as a peculiar example of Counter-Enlightenment. Born to a family of the Basque elite, he experienced a sharp ideological shift during his long life: from being a young radical liberal, he became disillusioned with the Enlightened philosophy and veered toward more and more conservative theses up to embracing carlist absolutism. Trained as a military and mathematician, he wrote several works on the origin of languages, nations or myths, and published minor works against what he deemed as materialist deviations of modernity. His texts express nostalgia for a lost confessional and hierarchical society but, at the same time, he believed that the knowledge of the past could contribute to human progress, understood as a fulfilment of God's design. In the introduction to the first chapter of his third logical investigation, Husserl introduces his mereological theory as a fundamental component of a pure theory of objects. Husserl's mereology is concerned with the relationship between independent and non-independent objects, which leads to the concept of foundation as the central core. Husserl presents six theorems summarizing part-whole relations that are derived from this distinction. Surprisingly, despite their fundamental importance, Husserl does not provide any formal proof of these theorems. The present work approaches teaching the children's learning Down's Syndrome; Taking into account the difficulties that the instructors for his development in Computación's Young Club present. As objective presents elaborating a methodology for the preparation of Young Club's instructors of on-the-job Computación with the children Down's Syndrome itself. They applied theoretic empiric methods and statistical mathematicians, in the determination of the referent theoreticians related with teaching the children's learning Down's Syndrome. They assume the conceptions of didactic preparation and the teachers' methodoogic, taking into account his concretion in the teaching educational process and the proposal like road of solution to the scientific presented problem becomes elaborate. They appraise the results obtained, that they demonstrate the pertinence of the proposal, when methodologic evidence advances in preparation that Down's Syndrome, what the fact that the proposal constitutes a viable solution to the presented problem demonstrates contributed to on-the-job Computación's preparation of Young Club's instructors with the children. Artificial intelligence seems to be in vogue as a term lately; however, this term was coined back in 1956 by mathematician John McCarthy, Marvin Minsky, and Claude Shannon. This concept defined the word as the science and engineering of ``making machines intelligent.' its sibling term, artificial life, is equally fundamental. How can we talk about intelligence without an organism to use it after all? Currently, researchers from both fields complement each other and describe a new class of artificial organisms. This paper presents a general overview of advancements achieved in artificial life, the creation of so-called virtual creatures and their possible application to the activities of human beings. The article "Modeling an Epidemic" presents a mathematical model to analyze the dynamics of an epidemic and how it is affected by quarantines and individual behavior. Different epidemiological models are discussed, including the basic SIR model that considers susceptible, infected, and recovered individuals as interacting population groups. The effect of different measures on the spread of the epidemic, such as lockdowns and public perception of risk, is analyzed. A mathematical model is also presented to study the impact of vaccination on the epidemic, showing that an effective vaccine can decrease the number of infected individuals. It is concluded that a good vaccination rate and responsible behavior from the population are key to controlling an epidemic. [Extracted from the article]
