In Libro centroamericano de los muertos (2018) Balam Rodrigo presents the drama of Central American migrant communities on their journey through Mexican territory towards the United States. The poet from Chiapas resorts to intertextual procedures such as the palimpsest to denounce the systematic violation of human rights in Central American communities, from the time of the conquest to the present day, by taking up documents such as fray Bartolomé de las Casas' Brevísim``a relación de la destrucción de las Indias, to expose the suffering of contemporary migrant populations. The poem expresses the torture, kidnapping, rape, dismemberment, and disappearances suffered by migrants on their journey on La Bestia (the popular name for the cargo train network that transits through Mexico), so that the violated and deceased body can be presented as a space of domination, erasure and difference. The passages of literacy criticism in Photius' Bibliotheca have been studied by segmenting their elements, which prevents discernment of the passage structure and the precise meaning of terms. The objective of this paper is to demonstrate, firstly, the existence of two- and three-element groups (binomials and trinomials) in Photius' passages and, secondly, the usefulness of these groups as interpretation tools. To analyze the incidence of critical comprehension processes in literary analysis through the application of didactic workshops to improve the teaching-learning processes of the 3rd year Unified General Baccalaureate students of the "Francisco Huerta Rendón" Educational Unit of the Balzar parish, canton. Guayaquil, period 2022 - 2023. To achieve this, it was assumed as a modality of qualitative-quantitative research, bibliographical, descriptive. An interview was applied to the school director and two surveys; one to the thirty-five students and another to the seven teachers, evidencing that students need to develop their narrative skills and know the critical comprehension processes that they can use in a literary analysis, favoring the improvement of their analytical skills and vocabulary extension. It was included that the application of the didactic workshops will help in the reading comprehension of the students, developing the narrative and critical skills and the teaching-learning process. The objective of the Spanish-Literature subject is to increase the communicative competence of the students, for this reason the work is carried out aimed at the development of the teaching)learning process of literary analysis and the use of audiovisual media specifically with the dramatic work House of dolls, by Henrik Ibsen. The objective of the research responds to solving the scientific problem, as an investigative result observation guides are offered that strengthen the teaching-learning process of literary analysis with the use of the projection of the cinematographic version of the theatrical work. The research used as methods and techniques of the theoretical level, the historical-logical, the analytical-synthetic, the inductive-deductive, modeling, the empirical level observation and techniques such as surveys, interviews and document analysis were used. This essay analyzes stories published in Los años duros (Jesús Díaz, 1966), Condenados de Condado (Norberto Fuentes, 1968) and Los pasos en la hierba (Eduardo Heras León, 1970) with the goal of characterizing features of the so-called narrative of violence which originated in Cuba in the sixties. Using a critical studies approach, this essay examines this narrative's distinctiveness in the island's culture and its connection to intellectual debates at the time of their emergence. It also examines attempts to articulate a distancing from traditional norms of literary potrayal of reality with an original portrayal of the revolution and its combatants. Thus, guidelines adopted by Cuban narrators in their aesthetic practice are defined via their participation in an emancipatory process, yet without forsaking literary autonomy. The posthumous work of Roberto Bolaño presents the intriguing theme of national identity and immigration. This work analyzes the difficult and ambivalent relationship that Chilean characters establish with their homeland then shows how the protagonists' life circumstances lead to an eternal nomadism. It then considers the relationship the characters establish with Latin America, revealed to be the only possibility for belonging. This essay reviews a corpus of articles published in Revista Chilena de Literatura during the 1970-2000 period. These articles focus on the analysis of poetic and narrative works that share in common the representation of the city and the urban space. The essay shows a diachronic change in analysis perspectives that shift from an immanent vision of the literary work to its insertion in a heterogeneous cultural panorama. By the end of the century, a salient characteristic is the approach to literature and the experience of urban interaction from gender theories, cultural criticism, and post-structural analyses. As a conclusion, the object of representation, the city, appears as a focal point of political, aesthetic and gender-oriented debate around the concept of Modernity in Latin American societies. Emancipada is the first Ecuadorian novel and one of the first Latin American in the subgenre of literary realism, however, it goes unnoticed for the university debate two centuries after the birth of its author Miguel Riofrío. By the contribution of this work, more than a century and a half later, it can be demonstrated, from the critical theory to which it precedes by far, that in this one you can find greater and better vestiges of denunciation for the dignity of people, Human rights and the right to resistance. This work is divided into five parts. In the first one, the writing of the work analyzed in its historical moment and according to the author's social environment will be contextualized. In the second part we will study the discursive environment of ideas in La Emancipada and the author's thinking in the context of his narrative. In the third part, resistance and disobedience will be analyzed as categories of study in the environment of the social and creative process of the work. In the fourth part, he will evaluate the influence of the mother figure of the protagonist of the story according to the categories anticipated in the previous section. In the first novel by Mario Vargas Llosa, The Time of the Hero (1963), multiple manifestations of violence are observed that are developed with disciplinary and strategic purposes for the optimal construction of an identity in the students of the Leoncio Prado Military Academy; however, these are assimilated in a diversified way by them; above all, by the Jaguar, who already assumes an exponential aggressiveness and transfers a reckless and respectable imposition towards the other characters. For this approach to be possible, I expose some favorable qualities that are extracted mainly from theoretical proposals of Literature and Psychology to determine that negative and violent identity that would establish a new way of survival in that military universe on the part of the Jaguar. Among the concepts to develop, I will base the notions of protagonist, master, dandy, manipulator, violent, aggressor, reckless, vengeful and obsessive, which will be useful to differentiate the different modalities with which this character develops in that institution. The reader is asked to explore, in an introductory way, the disciplinary crossing between law and literature. It will be noted that the proposal presented has an interdisciplinary approach that emphasizes the various verifiable intersections between the two discourses. After a brief reference to some authors who deal with the subject at a regional level, the important contributions of the Spanish José Calvo González are collected, whose work developes a theory and a narratological critique of law, within the framework of a "literary theory of law". As a reflexive consequence, theoretical inputs are also presented, which contribute to "another look on law", as estimated by some authors who develop Critical Theories of Law in the Region. The work analyzes the relationship between history and literature is analyzed from the novel Vigilia del Almirante by the Paraguayan writer Augusto Roa Bastos (1917-2005). It will be argued that the imbrication of both disciplines allows to build in this novel a fictional truth about the historical figure of Christopher Columbus. The text takes the figure of Christopher Columbus to raise doubts about his historic personality. Precisely in the counterpoint between history and fiction different interpretations of the Discovery are approached, based on the historical uncertainty and the certainty of the documents. The presence of several historiographical texts is recognized, especially those that deal with Discovery. In this article, the figure of Columbus is built by the confluence of different discourses that argue one with each other; this interaction allows the set of discourses to confront this historical image and to elaborate a reinterpretation of Columbus, since the union of these discourses into a single one (the novelistic text) generates a polyhedral and different approach to the Admiral to those who can maintain the historical texts, which are required an argumentative and demonstrative rigor. In the criticism of the Song of Songs there is no agreement on the structural problem of the book. Theories are divided into those advocating a fragmentary against others who see a unitary character of poems. The study attempts to revise this problems and propose that the Song of Songs is a loose collection of poems that a compiler gathered and tried to give some order, incorporating the adjuration of 2, 7; 3,5; 5,8; 8,4 as refrain with articulate function, such that the adjuration was set as milestone dividing between large blocks poetic that interrelate by a common theme or other resource or literary technique thus configuring a structural arrangement of the whole book. Starting with one of the comments on the metaphor, made by Michele Prandi in his Philosophical grammar of tropes, but from a perspective that is more akin to the philosophy of language Voloshinov, we study a set of verses of Uruguayan poet Julio Herrera and Reissig, in order to identify the ideological paths that become manifest in some of the various literary devices used by the writer. Our corpus study focuses mainly, but not exclusively, references to flora and nature, but also because the analysis lexicon flora is recurrent in many of his early poems, then reappearing, although with other different ways in poetry. In this paper, from the literature of Luis Vidales‘s Suenan timbres, we explore the dynamics of Colombian rising cities that initiate an accelerated modernization process, deprived of an appropriate development of modern thinking, along with the new material advances, which makes it impossible to debate the relevance and the process followed by these types of transformations. This situation leads Colombia to experience the idiotism of modernization without modernity, impeding men to understand the needs and conflicts generated by progress. These villages from twentieth century beginnings quickly turn into city projects determined by the arrival of new objects, creating a mobile and noisy atmosphere, opposed to villages‘ passivity. In this work, we going to study the fantasy and the way that this expression uses some literary resources, but in other way in the same time, it is a product of the exploration of the not real and subjective. It is a modality of reboot of a topic in the Greek-Roman culture, but also in the modernist art, present in a story, poorly studied, Alfonso Reyes, first published in 1970, though written in 1915. Text that corresponds to the definition Tzvetan Todorov offers of fantasy, but also involves aspects exceeding the definition given by the analyst. Additional characterization story was studied provides a real context, from a perspective that being contextualized historically manifests a critique of phenomena and industrialization politics that affected the country in the last decades of the nineteenth century and early twentieth century. In this paper we study Luis Vidales debut opera, Suenan timbres, as the possible destabilising element of the catholic-conservative order in Colombia’s early 20th century, in frame of Los Nuevos. Besides, we study the concept of idiotism presented by Vidales, as a key factor in the assimilation of his aesthetic proposal, and his closeness with Kant’s nonage that allows the writer to present a poetic piece, with strong political content and clear renewal intentions, that act as a critic to the traditionalist society, determined by the colonial precepts. This article examines the testimonial condition of Juan Manuel Beruti (1777-1856). To do so, it provides a brief theoretical review about autobiographical writing and its characteristics in late 18th century and early 19th century, and then performs a discourse analysis of Memorias curiosas, an extensive chronicle about the main events ocurring in the city of Buenos Aires from 1717 to 1855.
