In the training of the comprehensive general practitioner, it is necessary to have educational alternatives that allow the acquisition of theoretical knowledge, habits and practical skills related to the prevention, diagnosis and therapeutics of burns. The objective of the study was to contribute to the improvement of the General Surgery Program of the Medicine career in the subject dedicated to Trauma and Burns. A longitudinal descriptive investigation was carried out, in the period from September 3, 2018 to June 28, 2019 in the Teaching Department of Surgical Sciences of the General Hospital Camilo Cienfuegos. The sample consisted of 16 professors and 97 fourth-year medical students who rotated around the Quemados ranch. The instruments used for the evaluation were interviews and surveys. The results showed that after the teaching actions, 91.7% of the students identified the types of burns, 92.7% classified them correctly, 94.8% used the general treatment appropriately and 97.3% the local treatment. It is concluded that the combination of the conference with the other educational actions organized in the education at work, allowed to perfect in the students the therapeutic procedures in burns. Over the last few years, hard work has been done to achieve the efficient administration of the working capital that constitutes one of the factors that affects the strengthening of the Cuban economy. To address this problem, it is necessary to implement tools that facilitate making decisions that contribute to the efficient administration of financial resources in the Sancti Spiritus Post Office. With the application of the analysis and calculation methodology, it will allow that not only in the entity under study, but also in others in the state sector, the decision-making process can be enhanced and streamlined, helping to strengthen accounting and administration Efficient working capital according to planned levels.
