Contemporaneity leads us to work, interact, conduct a business, study, and operate fully in virtual worlds. However, subjects nowadays also seek virtual spaces to escape from a reality that reflects injustice, suffering, illness, uncertainty, and death. Is it possible to structure subjectivity in cyberspace when the subject does not know their place and the place of the other? Moreover, is social bonding possible? This paper reflects on those virtual worlds as a new transitional space, an intermediate zone of experience between inner reality and outer life that facilitates the structuring of social bonds. The article interrogates the meaning of imaginaries of corruption in the novel Perder es cuestión de método (1997) by Santiago Gamboa. For this, the imaginary is understood as a relational assembly of dilemmatic images; while corruption is defined, based on the content of the work, as an illegal and egocentric action that places self-interest above the interests of the political majority. The semiotic analysis of statements and figures will be used to determine how imaginaries of corruption are represented in Gamboa's novel. These imaginaries are classified according to the stratum in which they manifest themselves: physiological, psychological and social. The analysis also focuses on the fact that these strata are interdependent and work as parts of a complex phenomenon; contributing to the organicity of the narrative. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper deals with the study of instituted imaginary of the landscape from a social-hermenutic based on consideration of the social system as cyborg textuality. The article examines the Archivo Casasola of pictures of taken during the Mexican Revolution covering the years 1910 to 1921. The Casasola name was been associated with the Revolution and has had a big influence in the history of Mexico. Agustín Casasola founded the Agencia Fotográfica Mexicana, which supplied photos to Mexican publications, and initiated the archive, which contains thousands of photograph and negatives. His work was been continued by his children Gustavo and Piedad. Several of the photographs are analyzed.
