- Abstract
For this writing I have proposed to connect the concepts of analogy, phronesis and eudemonia in and from the work of Mauricio Beuchot, founder of the proposal called Analogical Hermeneutics. Analogy, as it is understood, in principle does not refer to the analog, as opposed to the digital. Analogy, along with univocality and equivocality, is a way of preaching that teaches that not everything has a single meaning nor is everything dispersed in multiple senses. Prudence is the virtue par excellence. It is the door to the other virtues. It is, according to Mauricio Beuchot, the incarnate analogy. It consists of the willingness to choose the appropriate means for the purposes pursued. The goal of the human being is happiness. It is distinguished by wealth, pleasure and honor. It is well that it corresponds to the human being for the fact of being human. Thus, structuring the analogy in life, as prudence, encourages, individually and socially, to seek happiness through the best means, that is, those that contribute to the plenitude of oneself and others.
