The article presents the author's comments on a dispute between two sociologists over the issue of honesty in sociological researches. The author says that he was contacted in late autumn of 2005 with a preliminary request to make comments on a paper from the University of Lund concerning suspicion about sociologist Eva Kärfve having been dishonest in conducting research. The author examines certain irregularities in the book "Hjärnspöken," by Eva Kärfve.
