Titel: Distriktssköterskors erfarenheter av stress i sitt arbete på hälso-/vårdcentral. Bakgrund: I distriktssköterskans arbetsuppgifter ingår att anpassa sig efter samhälleliga resurser med förändringar inom hälso- och sjukvården. Sjukskrivningar orsakat av psykisk ohälsa och framförallt stressrelaterade besvär har ökat. Syfte: Att belysa distriktssköterskors erfarenheter av stress i arbete inom hälso-/vårdcentral. Metod: Studien genomfördes med en kvalitativ induktiv ansats med semistrukturerade intervjuer. Tolv distriktssköterskor anställda på hälso-/vårdcentral i södra Sverige deltog i studien. En kvalitativ innehållsanalys användes som analysmetod. Resultat: Vid analysen framkom fyra kategorier som beskrev distriktsköterskans erfarenheter av stress i arbetet utifrån krav, organisatoriska aspekter samt hur förutsättningar av kontroll och fysiska symtom inverkade på stress i arbetet. Slutsats: Studien visade på erfarenheter av att många riskfaktorer för stress och psykisk ohälsa förelåg. Under intervjuerna framkom även faktorer för att förhindra utveckling av stress. Att det finns behov av flera vidareutbildade sjuksköterskor som arbetar med specialistmottagningar för att minska ensamarbete. Att det blir fler kollegor som har specialistutbildning att fördela mottagningarna på för att få möjlighet till att kunna förkovra sig inom sin egen mottagning. Title: Nurse experience of stress at work in the health/ medical center. Background: In the district nurses’ duties include adapting to community resources with changes in health care. Sick leave due to mental illness and above all stress related disorders has increased. Purpose: To highlight nurses experience of stress at work in health center. Method: The study was conducted with a qualitative inductive approach with semi-structured interviews. Twelve district nurses employed in health centers in southern Sweden participated. As the analytical method was a qualitative content analysis used. Results: The analysis revealed four categories that described the district nurse´s experience of the pressures of work based requirement, demands organizational aspects, the conditions of control and physical symptoms affected the stress of work. Conclusion: The study showed the experiences of many risk factors for stress and mental illness existed. During the interviews also revealed factors to prevent the development of stress. There is need for district-educated nurses that works in primary care with specialist clinics for reduce the stress of working alone. There is need for more colleagues with district specialist care for give the district nurses opportunity to improve in their own specialist clinics.
