In recent years due to the increasing population and developing technology, air pollution has become a serious problem for living organisms which threatens their health. Quality and purity of indoor and outdoor air have great importance on the health of human beings. To breathe clean air, purified from different types of contaminants, air filtering applications are essential in our daily lives. Hence, measurement of filtration efficiency, concerned standarts of efficiency measurement methods have attracted great attention of researchers considering the determination of the quality of filtering processes and providing optimum construction parameters for filtering material. Pesticides are frequently used in modern agriculture to improve production by reducing pest populations. Besides concerns like environmental pollution and destruction of non-target organisms, there are also health concerns due to the pesticide residues on foodstuffs. Studies have shown that the oxidants with high redox potential can be used to minimize or completely eliminate pesticide residues on some of the foods, especially fruits and vegetables. Toxicological evaluation of the degradation products of pesticides could be helpful to minimize health concerns. Recently, studies have been extensively focused on the toxicity of degradation products of pesticides. Ozone, one of the oxidants tested, is a promising agent because of its high residue removal efficiency and spontaneous decomposition without forming any subresidues. Other oxidants used for this purpose include hydrogen peroxide and chlorine. In addition, advanced oxidation processes, combination of ozone, hydrogen peroxide, titanium dioxide and UV, present alternative to oxidants alone for pesticide removal because their combination has high efficiency besides ease of use, and lack of toxic residues. Tuberculosis, as a one of the most important health burden, is an infectious bacterial disease, and commonly affects the lungs. According to WHO reports, it is transmitted from one of third of the world's population are infected by tuberculosis bacillus, and almost 5-10% of these peoples become sick, lifelong. By these reasons, tuberculosis is a major pursuit of WHO. The Stop Tb Strategy 2006-2015 was published in 2006. In last of 2010 the strategy plan was updated.
