ÖZETZAMAN GAZETESİ BAĞLAMINDA 11 EYLÜL 2001 SONRASI DİN OLGUSU11 Eylül 2001’de yaşayan terör olaylarından sonra başta Amerika’nın olmak üzere birçok Batı ülkesinin İslam’a ve müslüman toplumlara bakışında çok ciddi değişiklikler meydana gelmiştir. Yine bu terör olaylarının neticesinde Hıristiyan âleminde “medeniyetler çatışması” tezi gündeme gelmiş ve bu tez çerçevesinde yoğun tartışmalar meydana gelmiştir.11 Eylül’de yaşanan terör olayının neticesinde Amerika suçlu ilan ettiği devletlere müdahale etmiş ve bunun bir neticesi olarak da bir takım sosyal ve kültürel değişiklikler vukuu bulmuştur. İslam, bu olaylar neticesinde Batı’da ve İslam âleminde her yönüyle tartışılmaya başlamıştır. Bu tartışma konularından brincisini terör ve İslam’ın teröre bakışı oluşturmuştur. Bununla beraber İslam bilinen ve bilinmeyen yönleri ile de Batılı ve müslüman aydınlar tarafından masaya yatırılmış ve değişik konularda İslam’ın bakış açısı önem kazanmıştır. Özellikle İslam ülkelerinde, İslam’ın sosyal hayat yansıyan etkilerine karşı bakış açılarında da bir takım değişiklikler olmuştur. Bu bağlamda ülkemizde de İslam, özellikle aydınlarımızın ve siyaset adamlarının birinci gündem maddesi olarak tartışılmaya başlamıştır. Yine bu bağlamda Cumhuriyetten bu yana tartışılan, fakat bir türlü sonuca bağlanamayan konular tekrar gündeme gelmiş ve değişen dünya konjektüründe çözüm arayışlarına gidilmiştir. Gündemde tartışılan konular, okuyucu kitlesinin genişliği ile dikkat çeken zaman gazetesinde de tartışılmış ve çeşitili çözüm önerileri getirilmiştir. Konulara getirilen çözüm önerilerinde, dünyada meydana gelen fikri ve siyasi değişimin etkisinin olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. SUMMARYACCORDİNG TO ZAMAN PAPER RELİGİOUS PHENOMENON İN TURKEY AFTER THE EVENT OF SEPTEMBER 11 After the terrorist events on 11 september 2001 there occurred change of views in the United states and Europe regarding their attitudes towards Islamic Religion and Muslim Communities.As a result a famous thesis, the clash of Civillisations became a main agenda of the western communities. After that event, the United States took it as an opportunity to attack to the pariah states of the Middle East and elsewhere in order to put themunder strong pressure and to establish its domination on them. The Islamic Religion also took its share from this hostile atmosphere in the West.The great mistake as it is, Islam has mainly been argued from the point of its connection with terror and the point in which Islamic approach to it. This atmosphere took place in the West had also immense impacts on the Islamic Countries. The views of the intellectuals in these countries began to change with regard to the effects of Islam on social life. Turkey also took its share from this environment. In this regard Turkish enlightened and statesman began to discuss the place of Islam in society. Many main issues have also been taken by the wriets of daily Zaman paper which attracts a considerable numbe of readers. It is observed that while the writers of the Zaman have brought about their new solutions, it is clear that they have been affected by the change of political and ideological atmosphere taking place in the world.

İnsan şahsiyetini bütünüyle kapsayan din, inanç, amel ve hizmetler bu hayata yön verir. İbadetler insan hayatının derinliklerini düzenler. İbadetler kişiyi şahsiyetli bir kul yapar. Eğitilmiş bir kulun fiili olan ibadetler, sonuçta yine bir eğitim faaliyeti yapar. Kur'ân verileri ışığında bir değerlendirme yapacak olursak, ibadetlerin, insanın ilgi ve eğilimleriyle ayrılmaz bir birliktelik içerisinde olduğunu görürüz. Namaz insanı kötülükten alıkor, ilgi ve eğilimlerin başıboş, kontrolsüz doyum arayışını engeller. Oruç, özellikle insanın fizyolojik güdülerini hedef alır. Sahib olma ve çıkar güdüsüne zekât ibadeti müdahale ederken, toplumsal ilgi, güven arayışı ve saldırganlık eğilimine hac ibadetiyle yön verilir.Biz bu çalışmamızda İslam Dininin temel ibadetlerinden olan namaz üzerinde bir araştırma yaptık. Namazın önemini, hikmetini ve farziyetini birçok kişi bilmesine rağmen bu ibadeti yapmada bir gevşeklik görülmektedir. Biz de din eğitimcisi olarak namaza karşı olan bu tutumun bir eğitim problemi olduğunu düşünerek konuya yaklaştık. Bu itibarla Kur'an'ın namazı bizlere nasıl öğrettiğini, hangi kelimelerle dikkatimizi çektiğini araştırmaya çalıştık. Hz. Peygamber'in de hem kavli hem de fiili sünnetlerinde namaz eğitimini ashaba nasıl verdiğini çalışmamızda göstermeye çalıştık. Bunun yanında temel kaynaklarımızda bazı İslam alimlerinin de Kur'an ve hadis ışığında namaz hakkındaki görüşlerini tezimize yansıttık.Bu çalışmayla amacımız namaz konusunda doğru bir eğitimdir. Dinin temel şartlarından olan namaz ibadetinin doğru bir eğitimle verilmesi sonucunda hem namaz konusunda devam sağlanacaktır hem de namazın niteliği artacaktır. Çalışmamız 4 bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde genel olarak eğitim kavramı üzerinde durulmuştur. Bu bölüm içerisinde din eğitimi hakkında da bilgi verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde ise ibadet kavramı ele alınmış ve yine bu kavram içerisinde namaz üzerinde araştırma yapılmıştır. Namazın tarihçesi, namaz ile ilgili kavramlar bu bölüm içerisinde yer almıştır. Aynı zamanda ibadetin karakter eğitimi üzerindeki etkileri de bu bölüm içerisinde incelenmiştir.. Üçüncü bölümde namaz eğitimi üzerine Kur'an-ı Kerim'den, kavli ve fiili sünnetten örnekler verilmiş ve bu örnekler üzerinden namaz ibadetinin nasıl öğretileceği üzerinde durulmuştur. Ayrıca temel kaynaklarda İslam alimlerinin namaz eğitimi üzerine açıklamaları da bu bölümde yer almıştır.Dinin direği, göz nuru, baş tacı, cennet anahtarı olan namazın doğru şekilde öğretilmesi bunun sonucunda da namaz ibadetinin devamlı olması amacını taşıyan bu çalışmada gayret bizden, tevfik ve hidayet Allah'tandır. Religion, faith, good deeds and services guides human beings by exclusively covering their lives. Worships, the ibadats, regulate the depth of human life. They help a person to become a righteous servant to Allah. Ibadats, as the deeds of an educated servant, function as an integral part of education activity. From the view of Quranic perspective, we see that the ibadats are inseparably together with human interest and desires. Salaat (prayer) keeps one who performs it from falsehood and also rids him from the worldly pressures led by uncontrollable human desires for satisfaction. Fasting (Siyam) is specifically targeted to control physical needs of humans. Zakaat disciplines the acquisitive instinct of people. Hajj guides social interest, confidence building and behavioral tendencies toward aggression.In this paper, we have studied Salaat, which is one of the most important pillars of Islam. Although most of the people already are already aware of the importance, purpose and obligatory nature of salaat, there is sluggishness in performing this daily prayer. As a religious teacher, my approach in this paper has been shaped by the assumption that this behavior is a result of insufficient religious education. In this regard, this study tries to explore how Quran teaches salaat to the people and which words Quran uses to emphasize the salaat. In this study, by examining the honored sayings and acts (sunnahs) of the Prophet (peace upon Him) I also intend to show how the Messenger (peace upon Him) educates his ashab (the companions) regarding performing salaat. Besides this paper also reflects the views and opinions of Islamic scholars about salaat who compiled them in accordance with the principles of Quran and hadiths.The principal aim of this study is to discover the bases of a good education about salaat. Through obtaining good education about salaat, which is one of fundamental pillars of religion, both the continuity of practicing and quality of salaat can been increased. This paper is consisted of four chapters. In the first chapter, general concept of education has been discussed. In this section, general information on religious education has also been given. In the second chapter, the notion of worship (ibadat) has been discussed and salaat has been studied within the framework of this notion. Here, the chronology of salaat and concepts that related to salaat have been studied. In this section, the impacts of salaat over self-education have also dealt with. In the third chapter, the verses of Holy Quran and honored sayings and acts (hadith and sunnah) of the Prophet (peace be upon him) on education of salaat have been exemplified. Through these examples, this chapter tries to explore how education of salaat should be designated. In this section, the views of Islamic scholars on salaat have also been discussed. In the last chapter, the negative behaviors of families and social environment over education process of salaat have been discussed through the examples and some recommendations have been proposed to address and solve this problemThe aim of this study is to provide a ground for better education of salaat which is considered as the pillar of religion and the key to heaven and in this way to contribute to constitute a continuous practice of salaat. 114

Hicri III. asrın sonlarında mezhepleşen Hanefi fıkıh okulu her yüzyılda hukuk alanına birçok eser sunarak genişlemiştir. İlk zahiru'r-rivaye ve nevadir eserleri yazılmış onlar üzerine şerhler, onlar üzerine muhtasarlar, peşinden tekrar şerhler yazılmış, sonuç olarak ortaya birçok kitap ve meseleler çıkmıştır. Kitaplar çoğaldığı için, önceki teliflerden nakil esnasında, meselelerde farklılıklar oluşabilmekteydi. Bundan dolayı her mesele tahkike ihtiyaç duymaktadır. Bu makale elimize ulaşan meselelerin ana kaynak değerlerini tespit etme ve değişime uğrayan noktaları değerlendirme bağlamında Hanefi fıkıh literatürüne hizmet vermeyi hedeflemektedir. Çıkış noktası olarak VII. asır Hanefi ulemasından olan el-Mevsılî'ye ait, mezhebin dört ana metninden birisi olarak telakki edilen el-Muhtar isimli eserin, aynı yazara ait şerhi olan el-İhtiyar isimli eser tercih edilmiştir. From the third century (AH) onwards the Hanafi School started growing by producing many legal treatises. First, the compendium of legal primers such as zahir al-riwayah and Nawadir had been compiled, and later on their commentaries were composed. However, then followed the abridged versions of these works along with commentaries. Consequently, numerous transcripts and commentaries increased the error margin and typos. This paved the way for the emergence of legal speculations contentious legal matters. The differences in legal matters arose while the copied manuscripts were not edited accurately from earlier canonical primers as well as from some other corresponding legal manuscripts. Hence, each legal matter needs to be carefully analysed. In this dissertation, we will ascertain the virtues of such primary sources with respect to the legal repositories of Hanafi school of Law. Any unconventional points and amendments in the literature works of Hanafi School of Law will be examined. This paper will meticulously review Mawsili's al-Mukhtar along with its commentary al-Ikhtiyar. 112

Din ve kültür arasında ilişkiler kurarak bir “kültür” inşa etmeye çalışmıştır. Batıyla olan temaslarda bir kültür alışverişinin var olduğunu ancak değerlerimize, geleneklerimize ve kültürümüze sahip çıkmamız gerektiğini belirtmiştir. Modernleşme çizgisinde Batı teknolojisinin yanında İslami değerlerin de korunmasıyla kalkınmayı öneren aydınlar kadrosunun oluştuğuna dikkat çekiyor. Bu çalışma ile Türk Toplumunun ayakta kalması, birliği, beraberliği sorunu, değişim sürecinde bazı dini- milli değerleri muhafaza etme çabası, ayrıca çağdaşlaşarak modern dünyaya uyum sağlayabilme ihtiyacı anlatılmaya çalışılmıştır. Güngör, milli kültür meselesini halledip kendi milli kıymetler nizamımızın kurulması gerektiğini ve böylece dev bir medeniyet karşısında kuvvetli olacağımızı anlatmaya çalışmıştır. He has tried to form a culture by establishing relationship between religion and culture. He has specified that there is a cultural exchange while dealing with West on the other hand he also emphasized that we need to preserve our values, traditions and our culture. He notices existence of intellectuals who propose protection of Islamic values in addition to Western technology at the time of Modernization. With this study, survival of the Turkish community, cooperation and unity issue, efforts to maintain some religious-national values while dealing with the changes, also the need for reconciling with the facts of modern world by becoming contemporary have tried to be explained. Batı’da uzun bir tarihsel geçmişe sahip olan sivil toplum tartışmaları Türkiye’de özellikle son yirmi yılda önem kazanmaya başlamıştır. Bu çalışma en genel haliyle Türkiye’de sivil toplum düşüncesinin gelişimini Türkiye’de yaşanan sosyo-ekonomik ve politik dönüşümler bağlamında incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Çalışma Türkiye’de sivil toplumun gelişimini Türk modernleşmesinin seyri ile yakından bağlantılı olarak görmektedir. Türkiye’de 1980 sonrası ekonomik ve politik alanlarda yaşanan liberalleşme kamusal alanının farklılaşmasına ve çoğullaşmasına imkan tanımıştır. 1990’lara gelindiğinde ise ortaya çıkan bu yeni aktörlerin sivil toplum kuruluşları vasıtasıyla gönüllü birliktelikler meydana getirdikleri görülmüştür. 1980 sonrası Türkiye’de genişleyen sivil toplum alanında en etkili şekilde yer alan toplumsal grup ise İslami hareketler olmuştur. Bu tesbite bağlı olarak İslami kesimin sivil toplum düşüncesine olan bakışının incelenmesi zorunluluk haline gelmiştir. Bu çalışma İslam-sivil toplum etkileşimi bağlamında MÜSİAD ve İHH adlı iki sivil toplum kuruluşunu incelemiş, bu kuruluşların söylemlerinde yer alan modern ve geleneksel unsurların analizini yapmaya çalışmıştır. Faaliyet ve projeleri incelendiğinde her iki kuruluşun da ulusal ve küresel düzlemde etkin bir pozisyonda yer aldıkları ve Türkiye’de sivil toplum düşüncesinin gelişmesine olumlu katkıda bulundukları kanaatine varılmıştır.Keywords : Civil Society, Turkey, ReligionABSTRACTCIVIL SOCIETY DEVELOPMENT IN TURKEY AND RELIGION‘Civil society’ is a concept located basis of a functioning society, in the name for a common goal apart from the structures of state. 'Civil society arguments' which has a long historical background in West, have gained importance for the last 20 years in Turkey. This paper aims to take a general look at development of civil society in Turkey, in the light of social and political history. The research considers the development of civil society connected with the Turkish modernization process. The political and economic liberalization in Turkey after 1980s, contributes differentiation and pluralism within the public sphere. By 1990s, new actors have begun to composed voluntary civil organizations and institutions. With the enlarged public sphere, Islamic movements and organizations have been the most effective actors at civil society. This assertion needs a survey about the understanding of civil society concept by Islamic region. This research addresses Islam-civil society relationship through two NGOs (IHH & MUSIAD), and analysis the modern and conservative content in their discourse. Their actions and projects show us they are both active organizations at local and global base, and make contribution to development of civil society concept at Turkey.
