This article on the relationship between the Covid-19 pandemic process and suicide; It was produced based on the idea that the biopsychosocial processes caused by the epidemic increase the risk of suicidal behavior. In the article, 4 suicide attempt cases, which were among the cases who applied to Elazig Fırat University Hospital as a result of suicidal behavior between August 1 and October 31, 2021, and in which the problems causing suicidal behavior were associated with the covid-19 pandemic; It is aimed to analyze the relationship between the epidemic process and suicide. Purposive sampling technique was used in this qualitative study. Relevant cases and their relatives were interviewed using semi-structured interview forms. In the 4 cases examined, the work and financial losses experienced due to the covid-19 pandemic, the measures that prevent the continuation of formal education, the measures that are frequently recommended by the mass media and authorities to prevent the disease, and finally the social support resources that decrease as a result of the quarantine and isolation processes have been determined to be related to suicidal behavior. This research reveals the necessity of taking preventive measures, especially in terms of vulnerable population groups, by predicting that the incidence of suicide will increase periodically during epidemic processes. Since studies dealing with the relationship between suicide and covid-19 pandemic in Turkish literature are often designed as a compilation; This study is important in that it draws attention to the multidimensional problems caused by the pandemic by including case studies and deals with the issue from a social work perspective. In today’s work environment, employees can face various risks in their workplaces. Their risk-taking behavior can shape lifestyle variables in the workplace, while lifestyle variables can also have various effects on the social performance of the workplace. In this regard, the risk-taking behaviors of employees, the anxious, sociability-oriented, and innovation-oriented lifestyle variables in the workplace and the social performance of the workplaces were investigated within the scope of the social exchange theory. When the previous studies in the literature are examined; No studies have been found that reveal the relationships between the employees’ risk-taking behaviors, lifestyle variables, and the social performance of the workplace. The research aims to complete this deficiency. According to the research results; risk-taking behaviors of employees at workplaces positively and significantly anxious lifestyles; positive and meaningless lifestyles focused on sociality; On the other hand, it affected innovation-oriented lifestyles negatively and meaninglessly. Anxious lifestyles of employees negatively and significantly affect the social performance of the workplaces. Socially oriented lifestyles of employees have positively and significantly affected the social performance of the workplace. Finally, employees’ innovation-oriented lifestyles have also positively and significantly affected the social performance of the workplaces. Objective: Patients with schizophrenia may be at increased risk of aggressive behavior in relation to factors such as symptoms and severity of the disease. In this study, it is aimed toexplore the thoughts and experiences of aggression in schizophrenia patients using a semi-structured interview questionnaire. Methods: Semi-structured individual interviews were conducted with 26 patients who had been hospitalized with a diagnosis of schizophrenia in Elazığ Mental Health and Diseases Hospital. Interviews were recorded with voice recording and then transcribed. Content analysis was used in data analysis. Results: As a result of the analysis of the data obtained from the interviews, four themes were identified: aggressive behavior, feelings, consequences, suggestions. It was determined that consists of subthemes as 'violence', 'mental illness' for aggressive behavior theme; 'regret' for feelings theme; 'sent to prison, a closed service', 'death, wounding' and 'loss of hope' for consequences theme; 'treatment and rehabilitation', 'communication', 'spirit' and 'education', 'awareness' for suggestions theme. Conclusions: This study includesthe physical, psychological and social reasons for the aggressive behaviors experienced in patients with schizophrenia, possible consequences and suggestions for preventing the occurrence of behavior. It is estimated that these results will enlighten on providing health care professionals and caregivers with the necessary support in sharing feelings in the management of the patient's aggressive behavior.
