Covid-19, which appeared in the city of Wuhan in December 2019, has continued to spread since then and turned into a pandemic. As a result of the increase in Covid-19 cases in the world and in our country, it has become essential to take precautions for personal contact and physical distance. The Covid-19 outbreak is known to be transmitted by contact and air. One of the most important steps to prevent or reduce this epidemic is to ensure that the people in the area comply with the physical distance rules, and the other is to disinfect the touched surfaces. There are areas where people have to come together. In these areas, it causes an increase in the variety of microbial flora in the surface and air. This increase invites infectious diseases. Especially lifts and escalators are areas where people have to come together. It is known that more than 50 million people are transported every day in our country. It has become mandatory to take precautions in areas where human circulation is so intense.Traditionally (chemical disinfection) measures to reduce the spread of the epidemic are limited and very difficult to control and follow. It has become possible to automate the system and to follow it with technological possibilities. In this study, using Ultraviolet C (UVC) short wavelength lamps, in lifts; The criteria to improve cabin air quality, disinfection of touch surfaces such as call buttons, handrails and hand straps in escalators will be defined and the stages of automation will be described. With the Covit-19 epidemic, disinfection has become a necessity in lifts, escalators and moving walkways that people use collectively. At the beginning of the study, important information such as the structure of the virus that caused the Covit-19 epidemic and its lifespan in various environments were included. The aim of the study is to explain how the surfaces with human contact in lifts, escalators and moving walkways should be disinfected by providing appropriate conditions. The research, "What kind of devices should be used for disinfection in lifts, escalators and moving walkways?", "What are the appropriate mounting conditions for the devices used for disinfection?", "What should be done so that the disinfection devices used do not interfere with the safe operation of lifts, escalators or moving walkways?", "Which features should the devices used for disinfection have?", "What are the areas that UVGI lamps affect in the lift car?", "What kind of devices are used for disinfection?" Seeks answers to questions such as. While reviewing the literature of the study, the opinions of experts in the field were first consulted. The general trend of experts is that the devices to be used for disinfection should be assembled and synchronized without preventing the safe operation of lifts, escalators and moving walkways.
