Hans Kelsen’in (ö. 1973) Adalet Nedir? başlıklı eserinde incelenen en temel mesele adaletin mutlaklığı yahut göreceliliği meselesidir. Yazar bu çerçevede şu sorulara yanıt aramaktadır: Mutlak adalet mümkün müdür? Eğer mümkün ise bu nasıl gerçekleştirilebilir? Şayet mümkün değil ise mutlak yerine göreceli bir adaletin peşinden koşmak “adaletsizlik”ten kaynaklı olduğu düşünülen problemlerin doğurduğu olumsuz sonuçları azaltabilir mi? Kelsen’in bu soruları yanıtlamak üzere yaptığı soruşturmalar eseri adalet üzerine çalışanların ve adalet nedir sorusunun peşinde koşanların bigane kalamayacağı bir incelemeye dönüştürmektedir.

Çalışmada, hicrî 2. asrın son yarısı ile 3. asrın ilk üçte birlik döneminde yaşayan, hakkında hem olumlu hem de olumsuz değerlendirmelerin yapıldığı Süleymân b. Dâvûd eş-Şâzekûnî’nin hadis ilmindeki yerinin tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Şâzekûnî, hadis meclislerinin ve rihlelerin yoğun bir şekilde yapıldığı bir dönemde yaşamış, ismi Yahyâ b. Maîn, Ali b. el-Medînî ve Ahmed b. Hanbel ile birlikte anılmıştır. Bir yandan “hâfız” olarak meşhur olmuşken diğer yandan cerh edilmiştir. Bu sebeple hakkında birbirine tezat oluşturan bilgi ve değerlendirmeler varit olmuştur. Şâzekûn kelimesi, Yemen’de bez ve büyük giysi ticaretiyle meşgul olanlara verilen bir addır. Süleymân b. Dâvûd babasının bu mesleğine izafeten Şâzekûnî nisbesiyle anılmıştır. O, Minkar b. Ubeyd b. Kays kabilesine mensup olduğu için el-Minkarî olarak da tanınmıştır. Basra’da doğup büyüdüğü için el-Basrî nisbesine de sahip olan Şâzekûnî’nin künyesi Ebû Eyyûb olup o, “hâfız” olarak şöhret bulmuştur. Şâzekûnî’nin vefat tarihi ve yeri hususunda ihtilaf edilmiştir. Bununla birlikte genel kabul gören görüşe, onun 234 yılında İsfahan’da vefat etmiş olduğu şeklindeki görüştür. Şâzekûnî’nin muasırları olan Abdürrezzâk, İbn Ebî Şeybe, Ebû Zür‘a ve daha başka muhaddisler onu; “ashâbü’l-hadis”, ahfezu’n-nâs, “ondan daha iyi hâfız görmedim” ve “hadis ilmini en iyi bilenimiz” olarak nitelemişlerdir. Şâzekûnî’nin hadis “hâfızı” olduğu tabakat kitaplarında da yer almıştır. İbn Sa‘d onun Basralı muhaddislerden sekizinci, Ebü’ş-Şeyh ise İsfahan muhaddislerinden beşinci tabakadan “hâfız” unvanıyla meşhur olduğunu kaydetmiştir. Zehebî, onu nadir yetişen; Süyûtî de hadisin bablarını ve inceliklerini en iyi bilen bir hâfız olarak tabakatında tanıtmıştır. Şîa’nın hadis kaynaklarında da bir râvi olarak yer alan Şâzekûnî, ilmî meclislere katılıp müzakere yapmak ve hadis yazmak için Kûfe, Basra, Bağdat ve İsfahan’a birçok rihle yapmıştır. Kütüb-i Tis‘a müellifleri içerisinde sadece Ahmed b. Hanbel, Feḍâʾilü’ṣ-ṣaḥâbe adlı eserinde hocası İbrâhim b. Muhammed senediyle ondan iki rivayet nakletmiştir. Mevcut hadis kaynakları içinde Şâzekûnî’den doğrudan hadis rivayet eden Ebû Ya‘lâ el-Mevsılî’dir. Taberânî ondan en fazla rivayet aktaran muhaddistir. Rûyânî, Ebû Avâne, Harâitî, Tahâvî, Âcurrî, Hâkim en-Nîsâbûrî, Ebû Nuaym, Beyhakî ve daha başka muhaddisler eserlerinde ondan rivayetler nakletmişlerdir. Şâzekûnî’nin büyük tepki çeken; “Ümeyye oğulları rüyamda minberime çıkan maymunlar ve domuzlar şeklinde bana gösterildi ve bu benim çok zoruma gitti, bunun üzerine Kadir Sûresi indirildi.” gibi “metrûk” ve “batıl” rivayetleri bulunmaktadır. Ona ait meşhur olmuş “İlim kendisiyle hamama girdiğin şeyden başka bir şey değildir.” gibi sözleri kaynaklarda yerini almıştır. Muhaddislerden Şâzekûnî’yi tümden tevsîk eden, İbn Hibbân’dır. Yahyâ b. Maîn, Ahmed b. Hanbel, Buhârî, Ebû Hâtim, Nesâî ve daha başkaları başka sebeplerle onu “zayıf” kabul etmişlerdir. Yaşadığı süreç ile ilgili bilgi veren kaynakları “bütüncül bir bakışla” ele aldığımızda onun kendi döneminde bazı hususlarda temayüz ettiği, ilerleyen yıllarda bu vasıflarına halel gelecek tutumlar sergilediği, kitaplarını kaybettiği için ezberden hadis rivayetinde hatalar yaptığı, hakkındaki bazı suçlamaların ise bir iddia olmaktan öteye geçemediği, bilerek hadis uydurmadığı, vehm sahibi bir râvi olduğu ve rivayetlerinin “i‘tibar” için alınabileceği anlaşılmaktadır. Şâzekûnî’nin mütkın bir hâfız olarak kayıtlara geçmesi, onun tek başına adalet sahibi bir râvi olduğu anlamına gelmemektedir. Bir unvan olarak kullanılan bu kelime, ta‘dîl lafzı olabilmesi için “sikatün hâfızün”, “sikatün âkilun hâfızün” gibi râvinin güvenilir olduğunu belirten başka lafızlarla gelmelidir. Nitekim “hâfız” unvanıyla meşhur olduğu halde cerh edilen; Ebû Muâviye, Muhammed b. Yûnus el-Küdeymî ve Ebû Bişr Ahmed b. Muhammed el-Mus‘abî gibi râviler de vardır.

Bu çalışmada, İslâm hukukunun ibadetler bölümü içerisinde konu edinen, fukaha tarafından yer yer müstakil başlık altında incelenen istihâre namazına ilişkin ileri sürülen bazı hükümler nitel araştırma ve istidlâl yöntemleri kullanılarak ele alınmıştır. İstihâre namazı hakkında varit olan birtakım rivâyetlerde Hz. Peygamber’in –kendisi kılmamasına rağmen- sahâbîlere söz konusu namazı tavsiye ettiği görülmüştür. Binaenaleyh istihâre namazının meşruiyeti, şer‘î deliller içerisinde sünnete dayanmaktadır. Meşrûiyeti hususunda herhangi bir hilaf söz konusu olmamasına rağmen istihâre namazına dair rivâyet edilen birtakım nasların senedinin tenkite tabi tutulduğu, ilgili naslarda yer alan bazı kavramların da te’vile açık olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu ve benzeri hususlar, istihâre namazının hükmü yanında istihâre namazının rekât sayısı, istihâre duasının nerede okunacağı, hangi işler hakkında uygulanabilir olduğu, namaz kılınması mekruh sayılan vakitlerde kılınıp kılınamayacağı gibi bazı fıkhî meselelerin ortaya çıkmasına yol açmıştır. Bu durum ise, doktrin içerisinde kayda değer muhtelif görüş ve fikirlerin tezahür etmesine sebebiyet vermiştir. Dolayısıyla ele alınan bu çalışmada müctehidlerin istihâre namazı ve buna taalluk eden bazı fıkhî meselelere dair ileri sürdükleri görüşler, olabildiğince delilleriyle birlikte sunulmuş; meselelere ilişkin serdedilen rivâyetler cerh ve ta‘dîl açısından tahlil edilerek mezkûr konular bir bütünlük içerisinde incelenmeye çalışılmıştır.

This study investigates how monotheistic religions depict God with masculine or feminine attributes, considering historical context. The issue arises from questioning the portrayal of a masculine God within these religions, influenced by a patriarchal socio-cultural backdrop. Instances mainly from Christianity and lesser from Judaism and Islam, the study analyzes the characteristics of religious theological language used in the depiction of God. In this context, we explore the linguistic challenge encountered by religious traditions when employing anthropomorphic language. Since the core issue revolves around expressing and labeling the divine, the paper initiates with a conceptual examination of God’s characterization as either masculine or feminine. In this analysis, tracing back historically, archaeological and anthropological evidence indicates that language used to describe God was initially predominantly feminine. Feminist perspectives contend that over time, particularly within monotheistic religions, this language has become masculine and that this historical shift has been a major factor in the social and cultural exclusion of women. Against this claim, the study aims to substantiate the claim that despite the effective historical dominance of the theological masculine language, the feminine divine image persists in both theistic and non-theistic traditions. Both the Holy Scriptures and early theological writings occasionally employ feminine language when discussing God, although less frequently than masculine language. Within this context, anthropomorphic depictions of God in the Holy Books of monotheistic religions—where God is perceived as an immaterial being—are interpreted metaphorically, analogically, or symbolically. In particular, the mystical traditions of these religions have emphasized feminine qualities more intensely in their depiction of the divine. They portray God not only as a father or male figure but also with feminine attributes, such as a mother, lover, or friend. These traditions contend that qualities like divine beauty and mercy find their fullest expression in women and the feminine manifestation of existence. Notably, the Nag Hammadi tradition, rooted in Jewish mysticism, highlights the feminine dimensions of the divine, emphasizing love and compassion. Medieval Christian mystics such as Meister Eckhart and Julian of Norwich also emphasized the feminine dimension of God in their experience of the divine. Similarly, within Islamic Sufism, influenced by the Our’an’s balance and harmony of tanzih(exoneratin God from human attributes) and tashbih (drawing similitude) the Ibn Arabi tradition, emphasizing the feminine portrayal of the divine. They recognized the divine presence within the feminine elements of creation. Additionally, a lesser-known figure, Molla al-Jaziri, dealt extensively with the theme of woman as a divine mirror. This study aimed aligns with the feminist theological approach, advocating for the reinterpretation of theological and religious language in order to liberate it from the dominance of a patriarchal language and reveal its feminine aspect. Additionally, study also suggests further research by examining specific time periods, approaches and individual scholars’ perspectives.

Bu çalışma, günümüz toplumunun dinamikleri içinde bireylerin yaşadığı belirsizlik, değişim hızı, stres ve kaygı gibi durumlar karşısında ortaya çıkan yeni dini ve spiritüel arayışları ve bu arayışların mutluluk endüstrisi ile nasıl ilişkilendirildiğini ele almaktadır. Spiritüel hareketlerin performans toplumunda ticarileşerek eğlence ahlakının ve mutluluk endüstrisinin bir parçası haline geldiği bu çalışmanın temel iddiasıdır. Modernleşmeyle beraber yaşanan hızlı değişim ve dönüşüm bireylerin iç dünyasında baş etmekte zorlandıkları çeşitli sorunlar yaratmaktadır. Özellikle sekülerleşme tartışmalarıyla günümüz dünyasının dinden arındırılması çabaları bireyleri farklı arayışlara itmektedir. Bu amaçla da belirsizlik ve değişim karşısında, bireyler yeni dini ve spiritüel arayışlara yönelerek içsel huzur ve doyuma ulaşmaya çalışmaktadır. Kişisel gelişim, spiritüellik ve mutluluk endüstrisi, bireylerin hayat kalitesini artırma arayışı ve içsel doyum hedefiyle yakından ilişkilenmekte ve mutluluk endüstrisinin büyümesine ve yayılmasına olanak sağlamaktadır. Mutluluk endüstrisi, bireylerin yaşamlarına anlam ve amaç katma, stres ve kaygılarını azaltma, öz farkındalıklarını artırma ve manevi açıdan doyum sağlama gibi vaatlerle pazarlanmakta ve modern toplumun belirsizlik ve rekabet ortamı içinde yaşayan bireylerin ilgisini çekmektedir. Bu bağlamda, makale, mutluluk endüstrisinin bireyleri performans odaklı içsel huzur ve doyuma ulaştırma çabalarını detaylı bir şekilde değerlendirmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Performans toplumu, mutluluk endüstrisi ve eğlence ahlakı gibi temel kuramlar kullanılarak, bu çabalar teorik bir çerçeve içinde kapsamlı bir şekilde analiz edilecektir. Performans toplumu kuramı, günümüzde bireylerin sosyal ve ekonomik başarılarına odaklanan bir kültürde yaşadıklarını savunur ve bireylerin sürekli olarak başarıya ulaşma ve mükemmeliyeti elde etme baskısı altında olduklarını vurgular. Bu bağlamda, mutluluk endüstrisinin bireyleri performansın ötesinde bir içsel huzur ve doyuma ulaştırmak için nasıl bir çaba sarf ettiğini anlamak, performans toplumu kuramının perspektifinden önemli bir analiz sunacaktır. Mutluluk endüstrisi, günümüzde yaygın olarak benimsenen eğlence ahlakıyla da bağlantılıdır. Eğlence ahlakı, bireylerin yaşamlarını daha keyifli hale getirmek adına sürekli bir arayış içinde oldukları bir yaklaşımı ifade eder. Mutluluk endüstrisinin bireylere sunulan ürün ve hizmetleri, eğlence ahlakı çerçevesinde nasıl konumlandırdığı ve bireylerin yaşamlarına nasıl anlam kattığı daha geniş bir teorik perspektiften ele alınması gereken bir konudur. Bu bağlamda, endüstrinin potansiyel riskleri ve bireyler üzerindeki olası negatif etkileri, performans toplumu ve eğlence ahlakı kuramları üzerinden incelenecektir. Literatürde, mutluluk endüstrisi, eğlence ahlakı ve spiritüel hareketler arasındaki ilişkiyi irdeleyen çalışmaların eksikliği göze çarpmakta, çalışma, tam da bu alanlar arasındaki ilişkiyi ele alması açısından literatürdeki boşluğu doldurmayı, mutluluk endüstrisinin bireylerin içsel potansiyellerini keşfetmelerine yardımcı olup olamayacağını, aynı zamanda bireyleri kendi içsel değerlerini görmezden gelmeyi ve performans baskısı altında tutmaya yönlendiren faktörleri anlamayı amaçlamaktadır. Çalışmada, bireylerin modern yaşamın zorluklarına nasıl yanıt verdikleri ve mutluluk endüstrisinin bu süreçte oynadığı rolü anlamak için nitel bir yaklaşımla kapsamlı bir veri toplama ve analiz süreci temel alınmıştır. Literatür taraması ve eleştirel okumaların öne çıktığı çalışmanın sonunda mutluluk endüstrisinin spiritüel arayışları kullanarak bireyleri tüketici birer nesne haline getirdiği, bireyin kendisini eğlence ahlakına dayalı gündelik performanslar sergilemek zorunda hissettiği, spiritüel araçlara ulaşamamanın sosyal eşitsizliği derinleştirdiği ve mutlu olmamanın adeta bir suç olarak görüldüğü sonucuna varılmıştır.

Arap dilini her yönüyle inceleyen nahivcilerin üzerinde durdukları hususlardan biri de asıl ve fer‘ meselesidir. Çünkü Arap dil ilimlerinin tamamında asıl ve fer‘ nazariyesinin önemli bir etkisi vardır. Bunların başında ise nahiv ilmi gelmektedir. Zira ‘amel, i‘râb, binâ, mu‘reb ve mebnî gibi nahiv ilminin önemli konularında asıl ve fer‘ nazariyesi etkin bir biçimde yer almaktadır. Nitekim ‘amel bakımından fiilin asıl, harf ve ismin fer‘ olduğu ittifakla kabul edilmiştir. Çünkü fiilin fâile olan şiddetli ihtiyacı, onda zorunlu olarak ‘amel etmesini gerektirmiştir. Dolayısıyla hiçbir fiil fâilsiz olamadığı için her fiil mutlaka ref‘ ‘amelini yapar ve bu da onun ‘amelde asıl olmasını sağlamıştır. Fakat isim ve harf için aynı şey söylenemez. Ancak bazı isim ve harflerin fiil gibi ‘amel etmesi, fiile olan çeşitli benzerliklerinden kaynaklanmaktadır. Bu nedenle onların ‘ameli fer‘îdir. Aynı şekilde i‘râb, isimde aslî fakat fiilde fer‘îdir. Zira i‘râbın asıl gayesi fâillik, mef‘ûlluk gibi temel gramatik anlamları birbirinden ayırt etmektir ve bu anlamlar ise sadece isimde meydana gelir. Bu yüzden isim i’râba zorunlu bir şekilde ihtiyaç duymuş ve i‘râb da isimde asıl kabul edilmiştir. Bazı fiillerin isim gibi i‘râb alması ise fer‘î bir durum olup çeşitli hususlarda isme olan benzerliğinden kaynaklanmaktadır. İ‘râbın Arapçadaki öneminden dolayı nahivciler, aldığı i‘râba göre isimleri; merfû‘ât, mansûbât, mecrûrât ve tevâbi şeklinde genel kısımlara ayırmışlardır. Bu genel başlıklara dâhil olan alt kısımlardan bazılarını asıl, diğerlerini ise fer‘ kabul etmişlerdir. Ancak hangilerinin asıl, hangilerinin fer‘ olduğu hususunda nahivciler arasında çeşitli ihtilaflar meydana gelmiştir. Ayrıca bir ögenin asıl kabul edilmesini sağlayan kriterlerin neler olduğu hususunda da görüş birliği bulunmamaktadır. Bu ihtilafların cereyan ettiği konulardan biri de mübteda, haber, fâil, nâib-i fâil gibi birçok isim grubunu kapsayan merfû‘ isimler konusudur. Çünkü bu isimlerden sadece biri ya da birkaçı merfû‘ olma hususunda asıl diğerleri ise fer‘dir. Nitekim bazı nahivciler mübtedayı asıl kabul etmişlerdir. Mübtedanın cümlenin başında yer alması ve haberden sonra getirilse dahi mübtedalığını yitirmemesi gibi bazı önemli özelliklerini kanıt olarak göstermişleridir. Buna karşılık bazı nahivciler ise fâilin asıl olduğu görüşünü savunmuşlardır. Bunların ileri sürdükleri en önemli argümanları ise; ‘âmil bakımından fâilin mübtedadan daha güçlü olması ve mübtedaya göre ref‘ i‘râbına daha fazla ihtiyaç duymasıdır. Zira fâili mef‘ûlden ayıran temel unsur ref‘ i‘râbıdır. Zaten i‘râbın asıl gayesi de ögeleri birbirinden ayırmaktır. Bu iki temel görüşün yanı sıra hem fâil hem de mübtedanın müsnedun ileyh olup içinde bulundukları cümlelerin de mahiyet bakımından birbirinden farklı olmalarını gerekçe göstererek aralarında asıl – fer‘ ilişkisinin olamayacağını ve bu nedenle her ikisinin de asıl olduğunu söyleyen nahivciler de vardır. Bu ihtilaflar eserlerin konu tertip metotlarına da yansımıştır. Nitekim merfû‘ isimler bâbında kimi müellifler mübtedayı kimileri ise fâili başa almıştır. Zira asıl olan ögeler genellikle diğerlerinden önce ele alınır. Asıl ve fer‘ nazariyesinin nahiv ilmindeki öneminden dolayı çalışmamızda mübteda ile fâilin asaleti çerçevesinde meydana gelen ihtilaflar ve buna dair öne sürülen deliller değerlendirilmiştir.

ÖZ:İnternet kullanım ağının sürekli genişlemesi, sosyal medya kullanıcılarına birçok olanak sağlamıştır. Sosyal medyanın kültürel etkileri, insanların faaliyetlerine yansımıştır. Sosyal medya kültürü, farklı kültürel özelliklere sahip bireylerin, kültürel değerleri ile etkileşim oluşturduğu yeni platformlara dönüşmüştür. Araştırmada sosyal medya kültürü araştırmalarında, yazarların en fazla vurgu yaptıkları anahtar kelimelere ve bu kelimelerin ilişki gücüne yer verilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın amacı çerçevesinde Türkiye ve Fransa adresli sosyal medya kültürü araştırmaları ayrı ayrı incelenmiştir. Araştırma örneklemi Web of Science veri tabanında yer alan sosyal medya kültürü yayınlarından oluşmuştur. Uygulamada bibliyometrik analiz yönteminden faydalanılmıştır. Araştırmada sosyal medya kültürü araştırmalarında, yazarlara, yayınlara, büyüme oranlarına ve vurgulanan anahtar kelimelere yer verilmiştir. Analiz sonucunda Türkiye adresli sosyal medya kültürü araştırmalarında yazarların en fazla vurguladığı kelimeler arasında, sosyal medya, kültür, Türkiye, medya, popüler kültür, covid-19, Twitter, Facebook, yeni medya, sosyal, cinsiyet, çok kültürlülük, dindarlık ve sürdürülebilirlik yer almıştır. Fransa adresli araştırmalarda ise, sosyal medya, kültür, medya, sosyal, covid-19, iletişim, cinsiyet, Fransa, gazetecilik, din, güven, Twitter, reklam, beden imajı ve ağlar kelimelerine vurgu yapılmıştır. Türkiye adresli araştırmalarda en güçlü ilişkiler, sosyal medya, Türkiye, kültür ve medya kelimeleri arasında olmuştur. Fransa adresli araştırmalarda ise, sosyal medya, kültür, medya ve sosyal kelimeleri arasında güçlü ilişkilere rastlanılmıştır. ABSTRACT:The continuous expansion of the internet usage network has provided many opportunities for social media users. The cultural effects of social media are reflected in people's activities. Social media culture has transformed into new platforms where individuals with different cultural characteristics interact with their cultural values. The research aims to include the keywords that the authors emphasize most in social media culture research and the relationship power of these words. Within the scope of the purpose of the research, social media culture studies from Türkiye and France were examined separately. The research sample consisted of social media culture publications in the Web of Science database. The bibliometric analysis method was used in the application. In the research, authors, publications, growth rates, and highlighted keywords in social media culture research are included. As a result of the analysis, the words most emphasized by the authors in the social media culture research on Türkiye were social media, culture, Türkiye, media, popular culture, covid-19, Twitter, Facebook, new media, social, gender, multiculturalism, religiosity, and sustainability. In research on France, the words social media, culture, media, social, covid-19, communication, gender, France, journalism, religion, trust, Twitter, advertising, body image, and networks were emphasized. In research on Türkiye, the strongest relationships were between the words social media, Türkiye, culture, and media. In studies based in France, strong relationships were found between the words social media, culture, media, and social.

Purpose: The study aims to reveal the bibliometric analysis and trends of 1616 studies published in the fields of "Urology and COVID-19" since the outbreak of the pandemic. Thus, it is aimed to provide researchers with basic information about the statistical distribution of research on these topics. This study aims to reveal the bibliometric analyzes and trends of 1616 studies published in the “Urology and COVID-19” fields since the pandemic broke out. Thus, it was aimed to provide researchers with basic information about the field of research on these subjects, in which countries it was conducted, and in which journals it was mostly published. Materials and Methods: A bibliometric analysis was conducted on "Urology and COVID-19" for 2020 - 2023 years using the Web of Science Core Collection Database. The results were compared with "Urology" publications of the same period. Trends were also evaluated with different data using free online visualization software (carrot2). Results: A total of 5481 articles cited these studies 13036 times. The most common document type was research article, the most common field was Urology & Nephrology, the most common language was English, the most common journal for the Journal of Urology, the most common publishing country was the United States, and the most common contributing institution was Udice University. Conclusion: This infectious disease, which disrupted the balance of the world, also changed the balance of publications in its favor. Urologists gave more importance to "Urology and COVID-19" research than isolated "Urology" research while fighting against the pandemic.

This study examines the nexus between foreign direct investment (FDI), trade openness (TRO) and economic growth for selected 11 high-income and 22 middle- and low-income Asian countries within a model using a more recent panel dataset over the period 2000–2021. The cointegration test has been applied in this study, which shows that whether there is a long-term interrelationship between FDI and economic growth, which we focus on in particular, and then the covariance matrix estimators that are developed by Driscoll and Kraay are used. Our findings indicate that there is a positive relationship between FDI and TRO, and economic growth for high-income countries, whereas the relationship between FDI and economic growth is negative for middle- and low-income countries. This study provides insights on why governments and policy makers in developing countries should focus on prioritizing domestic investment and production strategies for sustainable economic growth rather than simply emphasizing the attractiveness of FDI and the indispensability of import-oriented trade liberalization.

Değişen tüketici davranışları yemek tüketimine de yansımış ve günümüzde tüketiciler internet üzerinden yemek siparişi vermeye başlamıştır. Tüketiciler yemek siparişlerini, online yemek sipariş hizmeti sunan işletmelerin web sitesi ve mobil uygulamaları üzerinden verebilmektedir. Araştırmanın amacı web sitesi ya da mobil uygulamalar üzerinden yemek siparişi vermiş olan tüketicilerin algıladıkları değer, güven ve promosyonun elektronik kulaktan kulağa pazarlama davranışı üzerindeki etkisini ortaya çıkarmaktır. Nicel araştırma yönteminin tercih edildiği araştırmada, anket tekniği kullanılmış ve veriler tesadüfi olmayan örneklem yöntemlerinden kolayda örneklem yöntemi ile elde edilmiştir. Bu doğrultuda veriler daha önce online yemek siparişi vermiş olan tüketicilerden Kasım-Aralık (2023) aylarında online olarak toplanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS 25 ve AMOS 24 istatistik paket programları ile analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan analiz sonucunda online yemek siparişi hizmeti sunan web sitesi ve mobil uygulamalarla ilgili algılanan değer, güven ve promosyonun elektronik kulaktan kulağa pazarlama davranışı üzerinde pozitif yönde anlamlı etkilerinin olduğu belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlar hem teorik hem de uygulamaya yönelik önemli katkılar sağlamaktadır.

Bu çalışmada Prof. Dr. M. Şevki AYDIN’ın “Bir Din Eğitimi Kurumu Olarak Kur’an Kursu” kitabının değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. DİB yayınlarından çıkan bu eser genel olarak Kur’an kurslarını din eğitimi açısından incelemektedir. Kitabın ikinci baskısından bugüne aradan geçen zamanda Kur’an kursları adına birçok değişim ve gelişim yaşanmıştır. Araştırmamızda kitabın değerlendirilmesi yanında eserde yer alan bilgiler güncel değişim ve dönüşümlerle de desteklenmiştir. Kitabın ikinci baskısının yapıldığı 2010 yılından bu yana ülkede Kur’an kursları adına önemli gelişmeler yaşanmıştır. Yaz Kur’an kurslarına katılmada yaş sınırlamasının kaldırılması, 4-6 yaş grubu Kur’an kursu projesinin uygulamaya geçirilmesi, kur sisteminin kaldırılması, ihtiyaç odaklı kurs programlarının çerçevesinin genişletilerek bu programların eğitim bilimleri açısından geliştirilme çalışmaları, hafızlık Kur’an kurslarının var olan kapsamının genişletilerek örgün eğitimle birlikte hafızlık yapabilme imkan ve projesi, hafızlık öğrencilerinin hafızlığını ikmal ettikten sonra yine Başkanlık bünyesinde İslami İlimler Programına kayıt olarak Arapça ve Temel İslami ilimler alanlarında yetiştirilmeleri, yine bu öğrencilere Mesleki ve Teknik Ortaöğretim Kurumlarından mezun olanlara alanlarıyla ilgili lisans bölümlerini tercihte kendilerine sağlanan ayrı kontenjan avantajından yararlanabilmeleri, kurs öğreticilerinin yeterliklerinin güncellenmesi konuları kitabın yayınlandığı yıllarda var olup da 2023 yılı itibariyle meydana gelmiş değişim ve dönüşümlerden bazılarıdır. Dolayısıyla eseri yaygın din eğitimi açısından Kur’an kurslarının sistematiğini tanıtma, kurslarda verilen programlar hakkında temel bilgi ve tartışmaları sunma, kurslardaki din eğitimi ve öğretiminin niteliği ve bilimselliğini ifade etmesi açısından Başkanlığın yaygın din eğitiminde başlıca alanı olan Kur’an kursları birçok açıdan incelenmiştir. 2022 yılına kadar Erciyes Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesinde Öğretim Üyesi olarak görev yapan Aydın, halen Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesinde Öğretim Üyesi olarak görevine devam etmektedir. Din Eğitimi alanında özgün çalışmalara imza atan Aydın aynı zamanda 2004-2010 yıllarında Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığında eğitimden sorumlu Başkan Yardımcısı olarak da görev yapmıştır. Bu anlamda Aydın’ın, alanın gerektirdiği teorik yapıya sahipliği yanında pratik durum ile yakından ilişkili olduğu söylenebilir. YÖK-TEZ verilerine göre danışmanlığını yaptığı 6 doktora, 26 yüksek lisans tezi bulunmaktadır. Aydın’ın yayınlanmış 23 kitap/kitap bölümü, ulusal ve uluslararası dergilerde yayınlanmış onlarca makale ve bildirisi bulunmaktadır. Aydın, Türkiye’de din eğitimi bilim dalında halen aktif olarak görev yapan birçok öğretim üyesi/görevlisi/araştırma görevlisinin hocası konumunda bulunmasının yanında Din Eğitimi biliminin bilimselleşmesine de katkı sağlamıştır. Sonuçta incelemeyi konu aldığımız bu çalışmada Aydın’ın özellikle DİB’de görev yaptığı zaman dilimlerindeki tecrübe ve birikimleri, kendi ilmi tecrübesiyle yoğruşturularak okurlara sade ve anlaşılır bir dil ile anlatılmıştır. İncelenen eserin seçilmesinin nedeni, kitabın yayınlandığı dönemden bugüne Kur’an kursları üzerine birçok değişim ve dönüşüm süreçlerinin yaşanması ve böylesine önemli ve alana katkı sağlayan çalışmanın bu zamana kadar kritiği/değerlendirilmesinin yapılmamış olması nedeniyledir. Çalışma, kitabın yayınlandığı dönem şartları dikkate alınarak değerlendirilmiş, gerektiğinde güncel bilgilerle desteklenmiştir.

Zararlı bir uyaranın algılanması sırasında savaş ya da kaç tepkisine bir adaptasyon olarak gelişen stres, bazı koşullar altında (sinir, endokrin ve bağışıklık sistemleri dahil) zararlı olabilecek bir dizi fizyolojik tepkiyi uyarır. Bu tepkiler arasında hipotalamus- hipofiz- adrenal aksının hiperaktivitesi, depresif hastalarda en yaygın görülen nörobiyolojik değişikliklerden biridir. Özellikle gebelikte depresyon, ruh sağlığını tehlikeye atan sinsi bir halk sağlığı sorunudur. Ciddiye alınmadığı durumlarda intihara kadar giden vakalar ile karşılaşılabilmektedir. Doğum öncesi depresyonun olumsuz sonuçları yalnız annede değil, ileri dönemde çocuk üzerinde de görülmektedir. Gebeliğe bağlı depresyon, genellikle birden çok sebebe bağlı olup birçok farklı fizyolojik etkenle ilişkilidir. Hamilelik sırasında ortaya çıkan fizyolojik kaymalar, maternal stres koruma mekanizmasında hipotalamus- hipofiz- adrenal aksı düzensizliği ve kortizolün aşırı salgılanması gibi değişikliklerin oluşmasına sebep olur. Vücudun strese gösterdiği tepkiyle ilişkili olan aşırı kortizol salınımı, gebelik süresince görülen depresif belirtilerle ilişkilidir. Yakın zamanda yapılan çalışmalar belirli diyet etkenlerinin özellikle diyet liflerinin, stres hormonunu zayıflattığını vurgulamaktadır. Vücuda alınan diyet lifi, bağırsak bakterileri vasıtasıyla sindirilir ve kısa zincirli yağ asitlerinin ortaya çıkarılmasını sağlar. Söz konusu metabolitlerin hipotalamus- hipofiz- adrenal aksı başta olmak üzere pek çok değişik nörolojik fonksiyonu etkilediği düşünülmektedir. Bu derleme makale, kortizol salınımnda rol oynadığı düşünülen lif tüketiminin yaptığı değişiklikleri belirlemeyi hedeflemektedir

Objective: Sex determination has been found interesting in forensic handwriting examinations and has been researched by scientists. The inclusion of the sex parameter as a supporting element in the examination of forensic handwriting while deciding belonging will increase the reliability of the results. In addition, it will help reduce the number of people to be investigated for a large group of suspects, both men and women. In this study, it was aimed to investigate the contribution of the ascender and descender parts of the letters to sex prediction by measuring them. Methods: In line with this purpose, handwriting samples were collected from 50 female and 50 male participants by having them write 11 sentences containing the letters “b, d, f, g, h, k, t, y, p” at initial, medial, and end positions. The ascender and descender parts of these letters were measured in millimeters. Logistics, k-nearest neighbor (KNN), support vector machine (SVM) and artificial neural network (ANN) were selected and applied to these data. Results: The ascender and descender parts of these letters were measured in millimeters and statistically significant differences were found between male and female participants. The ascender parts of the “b, d, h, k, t” were determined to be statistically significantly longer in males. Accuracy rates are 0.65, 0.60, 0.71 and 0.82 for Logistics, KNN, SVM and ANN, respectively. Conclusion: In our opinion, this result is promising. If the studies on this subject are increased, higher success rates can be achieved, and more contributions can be made to forensic handwriting examination.

Çalışmada, ağır ticari araçlarda kullanılan havalı disk frenin ana döküm parçalarından biri olan köprünün servis ömrünün arttırılabilmesi için yorulma ömrüne etkiyen faktörler incelenmiştir. Fren parçasına, gerçek çalışma koşullarında etki eden tüm sınır koşulları göz önüne alınarak, yorulma ömrüne en çok etki edeceği öngörülen üç faktör için iki kademeli faktöriyel deney tasarımı yöntemi kullanılmış ve her bir faktör için iki farklı seviye belirlenerek numune üretimleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Parça üzerindeki gerilmelerin yüksek olduğu kritik bölgelerin belirlenmesi amacıyla sonlu elemanlar yöntemi kullanılarak yapısal analizler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Testlerde, çatlağın ilk oluştuğu anda yakalanması için sayısal yöntem ile belirlenen, gerilmenin yüksek olduğu ve parçaların kırılması beklenen bölgelere tuzak teli uygulanmıştır. Hazırlanan test numuneleri mekanik hasar meydana gele kadar yorulma testine tabi tutulmuş ve çatlak oluşan çevrimler detaylı analiz edilmiştir. Analiz sonucunda köprü parçasının yorulma ömrüne en fazla etki eden iki faktör sırası ile “perlit oranı” ve “kaliper yönü ile köprü döküm gözünün kombinasyonu” olarak bulunmuştur. Perlit oranı yüksek olan köprü numunelerinin yorulma ömürlerinin, düşük olan numunelere göre 3,1 kata kadar; uygun kaliper yönü ve köprü döküm gözü kombinasyonu seçildiği durumda ise 3,4 kata kadar arttığı tespit edilmiştir.

The relationship between finance and economy is a long-standing debate in the development literature. While some researchers argue that finance simply follows economic development, others argue that finance is a critical determinant of economic growth. Research findings on this issue vary across countries, periods, data sets, and research methodologies. On the other hand, the relationship between economic growth and financial inclusion is a relatively new area of study in the academic literature. The primary goal of financial inclusion is to ensure that everyone can access and use financial products at an affordable cost. In this context, access to and use of financial products is seen in the context of financial citizenship. This paper examines the impact of digital banking and financial inclusion on economic growth and household consumption in Turkey. For this purpose, financial inclusion and digital banking indices have been constructed. Furthermore, the relationship of these indices with the GDP index and household consumption index is examined using the three-stage least square (3SLS) method with two separate equations. The results show that digital banking and financial inclusion have a positive impact on economic growth and household consumption in Turkey.

Aim: The goal of this study was to investigate the expression levels of microRNAs (miRNAs) (miR-196b, miR-10a, miR-31-5p, and miR-338-3p) which regulate the genes involved in the proliferation and function of cells functioning in the inflammatory processes in Celiac patients' blood and tissue samples. Celiac disease (CD) is an inflammatory disease which affects people who are genetically predisposed to gluten consumption. The only treatment for this disease is a gluten-free diet. Materials and Methods: The miRNA expressions were determined in blood and tissue samples from 12 pediatric patients with CD and from 8 healthy children using quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) and SybrGreen dye. The gene expression levels of miRNAs such as miR-196b, miR-10a, miR-338-3p, and miR-31-5p were compared between the two groups. Results: There was a significant difference only in miR-10a gene expression levels between the control and patient blood samples. The greatest difference between the tissue and blood samples within the CD group were found in the expressions of miR-31-5p and miR-338-3p. It was seen that the patients’ human leukocyte antigen tissue type was not associated with their miRNA expression profiles. In addition, there was no significant correlation between their Marsh classification and gene expression levels. Conclusion: The significantly low level of miR-10a may be related to CD due to its effect on the immune response. Additionally, miR-10a may have potential as a non-invasive biomarker in the diagnosis of CD.

Metformin can cause gastrointestinal system symptoms, hyperlactatemia, and lactic acidosis even at therapeutic doses, and toxicity can result in serious complications and high mortality with massive infections. The prognosis for undifferentiated lactic acidosis is poor, with an expected case fatality rate of 30-50%. We present the case of a patient who was admitted to the emergency department with a large intentional metformin overdose. The patient was initially asymptomatic, but deteriorated rapidly during the observation period, developed cardiac arrest, and required extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) and continuous renal replacement therapy. Considering this case, we aim to emphasize that metformin overdoses may worsen in the late stages and that the follow-up period should be performed in a monitored setting that can provide, if needed, advanced cardiac support therapies such as ECMO.

Aim:Our hypothesis was that the treatment results would be superior to those of other methods in the patient group treated with a single anterior midline approach. The aim of this study was to assess the clinical and radiological results of surgical methods used to treat tibial plateau fractures.Methods:This retrospective study included 60 patients who underwent tibial plateau fracture surgery between 2019 and 2021. The Schatzker fracture classification was used to analyze and compare the association between surgical incisions and clinical and radiological outcomes in terms of complication rate.Results:The study included 60 patients (35 males and 25 females). The mean age of the patients was 44.8 years. The lateral incision is almost always preferred for Schatzker type 1-2-3 fractures, whereas the midline incision is used extensively for type 4-5-6 fractures. Better clinical and radiologic results were observed in Schatzker type 1 and 3 fractures. There were no significant differences in complications between anterior midline single-incision and double-incision surgeries.Conclusion:Tibial plateau fractures require anatomical joint reduction and rigid fixation of fracture fragments. A single anterior midline incision for bicondylar plateau fractures can be safely utilized, although larger patient series studies are needed.

This study investigates the impacts of economic and financial development on carbon emissions in Qatar between 1975 and 2018 by analyzing the results of the ARDL and VECM tests. We do so by considering two model specifications, Model 1 and 2, considering CO2 emission is a dependent variable. In Model 1, economic growth and its square are considered as independent variables to test the basic Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) hypothesis. The results provide evidence to confirm the EKC hypothesis for Qatar. In Model 2, various economic and financial variables are specified as regressors, and all the independent variables have a statistically significant impact on CO2 emissions at a 1% level. The coefficient of real income per capita implies that an increase in income will increase carbon emissions by 72%. On the other hand, financial development's carbon elasticity indicates that an increase in financial development will decrease CO2 emissions by 32%. The carbon elasticity of foreign trade signifies that an increase in trade will decrease CO2 emissions by 33%.

This research aims to identify the views and reflections of teachers working in project schools on the meaning and impact of the projects carried out in Turkish schools. The research was designed in the case study model. The data of the research were collected through semi-structured interviews with 10 teachers working in project schools in Muğla. The interviews were evaluated under the themes of "the underlying meanings of projects", "the reasons for teachers to involve in projects", "the effects of projects on teachers" and "the effects of projects on students". According to the research results, the participants defined projects as works that focus on quantity rather than quality, as works only for display, as incompatible with the education system, as a discredited concept, and as drudgery. The participants stated that the teachers participated in the projects due to the pressure from the school principals and central education system as well as aiming to put forth useful work, execute the task perfunctorily, and gain an advantage. In addition, the participants expressed that the projects carried out in schools have positive effects for teachers such as increasing job satisfaction, providing personal development opportunities and enabling collaboration with colleagues, as well as negative effects such as burnout, waste of time, inefficiency and not contributing to professional development. Finally, the participants asserted that while the projects provided positive effects for students such as socialization, motivation, self-confidence, and teamwork, they had negative effects such as not supporting academic success, disruption of lessons, boredom, and incorrect learning of science.

While human beings have common physical attributes and emotions, their diverse experiences, perspectives, and personalities make them beautifully unique and distinct from one another. One of the special groups in which the difference is seen to be significant is autistic people. Their experiences differ from societal norms, and they exhibit variances not only in comparison to ordinary individuals but also within their own community. This situation necessitates making some special arrangements in education. A considerable amount of scientific work has been conducted on how to provide education for students with autism. However, it is difficult to say that the desired level has been reached at the point of religious education, which constitutes an important area of education. Religious education can play a crucial role in the entire development of students with autism, impacting not only their personal growth but also contributing to the formation of a healthy social structure and progress. For this reason, the effects of religious education on students with autism require further exploration through scientific studies. These studies can shed light on the specific benefits and challenges that religious education presents for individuals with autism. By examining the impact of religious education on cognitive, emotional, and social development in students with autism, researchers can identify strategies that promote inclusivity, engagement, and meaningful learning experiences. This knowledge can help educators, parents, and policymakers, to make informed decisions about the implementation of religious education programs for students with autism. Moreover, scientific studies provide an opportunity to develop evidence-based interventions and support systems that address the specific requirements and potential barriers faced by autistic students in religious educational settings. This study aims to determine the religious education needs of students with autism and how these needs can be met. In the study, which was prepared in a qualitative design, data were collected through the interview technique. Since those who know best the religious education needs of students with autism and the ways to satisfy these needs are their families and teachers who work in their education, their opinions were sought. The research study group consists of 6 parents and 5 teachers with different characteristics. While the data of the study was generally analyzed by descriptive analysis method, sometimes content analysis was also applied. As a result of the study, it has been seen that it is essential to determine the appropriate teaching objectives for the students, to use methods and techniques, to prepare teaching materials, and to carry out assessment and evaluation by considering their characteristics and developments. In other words, religious education course teachers need to individualize teaching in a way that can meet the educational needs of students. In this sense, taking measures to make religious education teachers competent can be suggested.

Ders kitapları, sahip oldukları özelliklerle genelde eğitimde, özelde din eğitiminde konu alanı ve öğretim programının amaçlarını ayrıntılı gerçekleştiren materyaller olarak öne çıkmaktadır. Fakat ders kitaplarının eğitimde istenilen etkililiği sağlayabilmeleri, bazı nitelikleri taşımalarını gerekli kılmaktadır. Bunlar arasında yazılı materyallerin okunabilirlik ve tasarımla birlikte üç temel değişkeninden olan içerik, amaç ve kazanımların eğitsel yapılarını somut olarak ortaya koymaları, işlenişi düzenli ve hızlı sunmaları nedeniyle diğer ders kitabı özellikleri arasında ayrı bir yere sahiptir. Materyale etkileri ders kitaplarında içeriği önemli kılmaktadır. Diğer alanlara temel teşkil etmesi, bireyler ya da toplumların dinle ilgili temel problemlerinin başında gelmesi de inanç konularını din kültürü ve ahlak bilgisi öğretimi ile öğretim programlarında farklı bir konuma taşımaktadır. Bu ve inanç alanının kendine has diğer özellikleri, öğretime konu edilirken temel kaynaklardan hareket etme, hedef kitleye uygun içeriği düzenleme, soyut anlamları doğru şekilde somut öğrenme öğretme ortamına aktarma gibi alan bilgisi ve alan eğitimi ile ilgili hususların daha çok dikkate alınmasını gerekli kılmaktadır. Belirtilenler ve hedef kitlenin inanç konularındaki öğrenmelerinin kararlı hale gelerek şekillenmeye başladığı gelişim döneminde bulunmaları dikkate alınarak ortaokul din kültürü ve ahlak bilgisi ders kitaplarının inançla ilgili üniteleri çalışmaya örneklem olarak seçilmiş, bu üniteler bağlamında içerik özelliklerinin bilimsel ilkelere ve öğretim programına uygunluk düzeyi incelenmiştir. Nitel araştırma olarak planlanan çalışmanın verileri, içerik analizi yöntemi ve bu amaçla hazırlanan ders kitabı içerik değerlendirme aracı yardımıyla elde edilmiştir. Ulaşılan veriler, ders kitabı içerik değerlendirme aracı maddelerinden alabilecek en yüksek toplam puan ile alınan toplam puanın karşılaştırıldığı ve 0-10 arası yeterlik oranı esas alınarak düzenlenen uygunluk ölçeği ile değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışma sonunda, incelenen tüm ders kitaplarının inançla ilgili üniteler örnekleminde içerik özellikleri itibariyle değerlendirme aracından aldıkları toplam puanların yüksek ve uygunluk derecelerinin de ‘oldukça uygun’ düzeyinde olduğu görülmüştür. Ancak maddeler bazındaki değerlendirmelerde aynı olumlu sonuçlar devam etmemiş, amaç ve kazanımlar ile ders kitabı hazırlama ilkelerine riayet konusunda öğretim programında belirtilen yeterliğe ulaşılamadığı tespit edilmiştir. Bu, çalışmanın temel problemiyle ilgili olarak ortaokul din kültürü ve ahlak bilgisi ders kitaplarında, inanç üniteleri örnekleminde, öğretim programı ders kitabı uyumunun istenilen düzeyde gerçekleştirilemediğini ortaya koymuştur. Aynı durum bilimsel ilkelere riayet etmede de yaşanmıştır. Genel olarak istenilen özellikleri taşımakla birlikte metinlerde cümle, paragraf, başlık ve ünite bağlamında mantıki tutarlığı sağlama, tüm ders kitaplarında ortak sorun olarak belirlenmiştir. Benzer şekilde konularla ilgili yeter sayıda ayet hadis mealine yer verilerken öğrenciyi bunlar üzerinde düşünme ve araştırmaya yönlendirmede eksiklilerin bulunduğu görülmüştür. Sonuçlar, ders kitaplarında son yıllarda görülen olumlu değişimin devam ettirilebilmesi ve bir materyal olarak istenen nitelikleri en üst düzeyde gerçekleştirebilmeleri için içerik oluşturma ve düzenleme çalışmalarının alan uzmanı ve alan eğitimcilerinin birlikte gerçekleştireceği farklı araştırmalarla desteklenmesi gerektiği kanaatine götürmüştür. Nitekim problemler çerçevesinde ilgili ünitelerin içerik özelliklerinde sınıf ve kitaplar bazında yapılan karşılaştırmalar, melek ve ahiret inancı ile kader inancı başta olmak üzere soyut ve ilahiyat alanında tartışmalı konuların somut olarak işlenişe konu edilmelerinin mutlaka disiplinler arası çalışmalarla gerçekleştirilmesinin gereklilik arz ettiğini ortaya koymuştur. Ayrıca incelenen ders kitabı ünite içeriklerinin bazı maddelerdeki sorunlara rağmen oldukça uygun yeterlik düzeyinde bulunduklarının ve istenilen özellikleri büyük ölçüde taşıdıklarının belirlenmesi, bu içerikleri öğrenme öğretme sürecine aktaran ve ders kitaplarının materyal olarak kullanımına rehberlik eden öğretmenler ile onların yeterliklerinin konu bağlamında ele alınması gerektiği sonucuna ulaştırmıştır. Öğretmen ve yeterlikleri de öncelikle din öğretiminde ilgili personelin yetiştirildiği hizmet öncesi programlarını dolayısıyla yüksek din öğretimi kurumlarını ve sonra program geliştirme süreçleri ile onun bir parçası ders kitaplarını anlayarak öğrenme öğretmede etkin kullanımda öğretmenlere rehberlik eden hizmet içi eğitim çalışmalarını tartışmaya açmanın ihtiyaç olduğunu düşündürmüştür.

Objective:Trauma is the most important cause of death in underdeveloped and developing countries. Although the brain has protective layers such as the cranium and scalp, it can be damaged as a result of various traumas, causing permanent neurological and psychiatric sequelae. In our study, we aimed to evaluate the demographic data of patients who applied to our department to be evaluated in terms of disability after head trauma due to a traffic accident, and to emphasize that objective data criteria are required in the evaluation of neuropsychiatric sequelae.Methods:Sociodemographic characteristics, neuropsychiatric complaints, neuropsychological testing results and disability rate/duration of patients evaluated in the disability board of our department between 01.01.2019-31.12.2020.Results:It was observed that 579 of the patients investigated during the study period had head trauma. It was observed that 173 of 579 patients had intracranial injury and neuropsychiatric sequelae and a related disability rate was determined. 79.2% of the cases were male, 20.8% were female, the mean age was 29.6±15.6. Most common symptoms were dementia in 113 cases (65.3%), headache in 60 cases (34.6%) and psychiatric complaints in 48 cases (27.7%).Conclusion:As a result of the study, it was seen that neuropsychiatric sequelae due to head trauma are quite common and varied. The severity of the trauma and clinical situation should be determined by objective criteria. Detailed examination, neuropsychological testing and radiological examinations will prevent such cases from being overlooked.

Objectives: To retest the performance of Pentacam parameters in the detection of eyes with subclinical keratoconus (KC) and mild KC based on different definitions from the Amsler-Krumeich (AK), Collaborative Longitudinal Evaluation of Keratoconus (CLEK), and ABCD systems. Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional university-based study comprised 24 eyes with subclinical KC, 144 eyes with mild KC (based on AK in 101 eyes, CLEK in 28 eyes, and ABCD in 15 eyes), and 70 controls. Diagnostic ability of the thinnest point (TP) pachymetry, KISA% index, inferior-superior asymmetry, corneal aberrations, Pentacam indices, front/back elevations, pachymetric progression index, Ambrósio-Relational Thickness (ARTmax), and Belin/Ambrósio Enhanced Ectasia Display scores (Df, Db, Dp, Dt, Da, and D-final) were evaluated. Results: ARTmax (83.3% sensitivity/74.3% specificity) had the highest ability in distinguishing subclinical KC from normal, followed by TP pachymetry, Dt, and Da. D-final showed excellent sensitivity/specificity in mild KC diagnosis based on AK (98%/100%) and CLEK (97.4%/100%) descriptions. In the mild KC-ABCD group, index of vertical asymmetry accurately detected all eyes with mild KC and 97.1% of the controls. Conclusion: This study points out the gray zone in the detection of eyes with subclinical and mild KC due to overlapping terminology and grading criteria. Pentacam parameters seem to have modest capability in subclinical KC detection, indicating the necessity for additional diagnostic modalities. However, eyes with mild KC can be diagnosed with high accuracy using Pentacam parameters, although the strongest parameters may vary according to the definition of “mild KC.” Nevertheless, uniform and definitive criteria for subclinical and clinical KC classification are required for a diagnostic and therapeutic consensus in KC.

Throughout history, there has been a reciprocal relationship between humans and space. Even though there are numerous spaces covered by this ongoing relationship process, it has integrated and gained value with educational venues. Mainly because they closely monitor social, cultural, technological, and economic developments and pass on knowledge to future generations, educational spaces play a crucial role in the development of individuals as well as society. It is feasible to conclude from research on educational spaces that the physical environment has a major positive or negative impact on education. To solve the issue that the current Faculty of Fine Arts at Selçuk University could not sufficiently respond to user needs physically, it was decided to construct a new Faculty of Fine Arts building. The primary goal of the study is to design the building using user-oriented techniques that promote social interaction and showcase artistic identity throughout the design phase. A qualitative research approach, based on inspection and observations, was used in the study to gather data, documents, and reports on the topic and to ensure that the architectural programming stages advanced correctly and received ongoing feedback. Studies have confirmed the results, which show that artistic education in structures that provide users with distinct experiences is different from that provided in faculty buildings with a type plan scheme. The process, which involves collaboration between stakeholders from various disciplines and necessitates coordination, is also maintained in a coordinated fashion as a consequence of the study. Because of this, it is believed that buildings with comparable features can offer direction by offering a set of data that may also be reliable for design procedures that are prearranged.

Arap dilinde lafız-mana tartışması klasik dönemden itibaren dilcilerin önem verdikleri bir konudur. Anagram sistemle telif edilen Kitâbu’l-‘ayn adlı sözlüğe bakıldığında Arap dilinde kullanımda olmayan lafızların dahi zikredildiğini görmek mümkündür. Bu durum Arapça kelimelerin Araplar nezdinde -herhangi bir anlamı haiz olmasa da- ayrı bir öneme sahip olduğunu göstermektedir. Kâdî Abdülcebbâr’a göre ise edebi güzellik sadece sözün birimleri olan kelimelerde aranmaması gerekmektedir. Edebi üstünlük ancak kelimelerin cümle içerisinde birbirleriyle olan bağdaşıklıkları dikkate alınarak söz konusu edilmelidir. Kâdî Abdülcebbâr, düşüncesini temellendirmek için dilin kökeni meselesine vurgu yapmaktadır. Ona göre dil, ilahi bir öğreti sonucu oluşmamış, toplumların uzlaşmaları neticesinde meydana gelmiştir. Ayrıca kelimelerin cümle içerisindeki gramatik konumunu belirleyen i‘râb ve kastedilen anlam dikkate alınarak en iyi kelimenin seçilmesi manasındaki ibdâl kavramları Kâdî Abdülcebbâr’ın konuyla ilgili düşüncesini anlamada önemlidir.

This study aims to investigate the influence of music on individuals engaging in fitness activities at fitness centers in Izmir. A total of 249 individuals willingly participated in the study. The study utilized the personal information form and the impact of music on sportive activities scale, which were designed by Karayol and Turhan (2020), as data collection instruments. The scale comprises 18 items and is divided into 3 sub-dimensions, each measured using a 5-point Likert scale. The data was analyzed using the SPSS software package. The statistical procedures used in the data analysis included the "Independent samples t-test" and "One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA)" tests to examine intergroup differences. Additionally, the "Tukey Post Hoc" test was employed. According to the analyzed results, the research revealed a notable disparity in the sub-dimensions of the influence of music on age and overall total scores during physical activities (p0.05). However, there was a statistically significant difference in other aspects and overall scores (p0.05). The aim of this study is to determine the landscape use opportunities of natural plants of wetland habitats (river, stream, rill, moist meadows, etc.) within Şanlıurfa province. In this study, 58 plants were determined from wetland habitats that can be evaluated in terms of landscape use. The characteristics of these plants for their landscape use (life form, structure, flowering period, flower color, landscape value, color, and scent effect) were determined. The obtained data were evaluated using PAST 4.03 data analysis software and Principal Component Analysis (PCA). In addition, cluster analysis was performed to examine the distribution of these plants according to the determined landscape use parameters. With the classification practices, plants were defined in 4 different groups, and it was observed that the parameters were effective in the classification of the species. It was concluded that PC1 and PC2 heavily determined the grouping with parameters such as life form, flowering period, color effect and flower color.

Ehl-i sünnet kelâmının simge isimlerinden biri olan, orijinal fikirleri, çarpıcı tespitleri ile dikkat çeken İmam Mâtürîdî, günümüze ulaşan eserleri itibariyle bu sahadaki görüşlerini Kitâbü’t-Tevhîd ve Te’vîlat adlı çalışmalarında ortaya koymuştur. Her ne kadar ilki kelâm, diğeri tefsir alanında ise de bu ikincisi de yine onun pek çok kelâmî görüşünü beyan ettiği bir eser hüviyetini kazanmıştır. Hatta kimi kelâmî konular itibariyle tefsiri bazen daha öncelikli bazen tek kaynak hüviyetini taşımaktadır. Onun tefsirinin öncelikli merci konumunda olduğu kelâmî meselelerden birini de imâmet ve buna bağlı olarak ashap mevzuu teşkil etmektedir. Şîa’nın imâmeti İslâm inanç sisteminin bir parçası haline getirmesi ve bu hususta kilit bir role sahip olan ashabı tekfir etmesi, Ehl-i sünnet kelâmcılarının da bu meseleyi gündemine almasına zemin hazırlamış, böylece konu artık ilgili boyutuyla inanç mevzuu haline gelmiştir. İtikadi sahada imâmet meselesinin bir alt konusu olarak kendisine yer bulan ashap tasavvuru bu alanda görüş bildiren kelâmcıların eserlerine de girmiş, başta Şîa olmak üzere diğer bazı itikādî fırkaların ve kimi şahsiyetlerin sahâbeyi alçaltan algılarına cevap olacak bir yapı teşekkül ettirilmiştir. Ehl-i sünnetin hiç kuşkusuz en önemli taşlarından biri olan İmam Mâtürîdî de konuyla ilgili farklı boyutlarıyla izahlar getirmiş ve sahâbeyi hak ettiği mevkie yerleştiren açıklamalarda bulunmuştur. Mâtürîdî, imâmet ve buna bağlı olarak ashap tasavvurunu kelâm eserinde doğrudan ortaya koymamışsa da bir kısım ihsaslarda bulunmuştur. Tefsirinde ise bu hususta önemli açıklamalar getirmiştir. Kelâmcılar, bu sahadaki eserlerinde ashapla ilgili hangi hususları öne çıkarmış, buna dair hangi meselelere temas etmişse o da tefsirinde çoğu kez bunlara değinmiştir. Mâtürîdî’nin görüşlerini çoğunlukla kelâm değil de tefsir eserinde ortaya koymasına bağlı olarak yoğunlaştığı veya temas ettiği konularda kısmi farklıklar göze çarpsa da ulaştığı sonuçlar kelâmcılarla örtüşmüştür. İmam Mâtürîdî, konuyla ilgili olarak sahâbîlerin üstün özellikleri, onlara karşı geliştirilecek tavır, Şîa’nın sahâbe algısına cevap, ashap arasındaki çekişme iddiaları ve mücadeleler, nihayet onları konumlarına uygun değerlendirme gibi başlıkların altında toplanabilecek açıklamalar yapmıştır. Bunların içerisinde ikinci başlık daha çok usûl-i fıkıh, sonuncusu neredeyse tamamen tefsir içerikli iken diğerleri ise kelâmda da yoğun şekilde ele alınan konular olmuştur. İşte bu çalışmada İmam Mâtürîdî’nin ashap tasavvuru ortaya konularak aklı hiçbir zaman ihmal etmeyen, ona büyük paye veren bir İslâm âliminin zihin ve kalp dünyasında sahâbenin neye karşılık geldiği gözler önüne serilecektir.

Countries carry out commercial, political, economic, cultural, and social activities with other countries within the framework of their geopolitical positions and international law rules. It is an important source of power for countries to have the ability to use the seas in their commercial and military activities. Maritime power management contributes significantly to the economies of many countries when it is utilized together with policies and technological developments. Obtaining and managing this power is among the main goals of many countries. In this respect, countries like Türkiye, which have a coastline and a wide connection network, may have many advantages. The research aims to clarify the relationships between the authors, their countries, the keywords emphasized, and the relationships between the words and the current concepts regarding the development of the subject, specific to Türkiye. For this purpose, this research has examined 392 studies in the Web of Science database. Using the R program and bibliometric analysis, the research has shown that the words energy and energy management, maritime, power management, energy efficiency, energy storage, maritime transportation, sustainability, optimization, environment, resource management, and China are over-emphasized by the authors.

Bu çalışma kapsamında, havacılık sektöründe kullanılan aviyonik bir ürün için, titreşim fikstürü tasarlanarak doğrulanmıştır. Sonlu elemanlar yöntemi kullanılarak modal analizler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Modal analizlerle tasarımı doğrulanan model, üretildikten sonra titreşim testlerine tabi tutulmuştur. Titreşim testleri esnasında ivmeölçerler yardımıyla veri toplanarak analiz sonuçları ile karşılaştırmalı olarak sunulmuştur. Korelasyonu sağlanan analiz ve test sonuçları ile titreşim fikstür tasarımının uygunluğu değerlendirilmiştir.

Objective: Each year, approximately 125 million people visit malaria-endemic countries. This study aimed to investigate the clinical characteristics of imported Plasmodium falciparum malaria infections in Türkiye. Methods: The study included patients diagnosed with P. falciparum malaria between 1996 and 2022. A retrospective evaluation was conducted on whole blood samples and/or blood smears, as well as detailed medical histories, clinical manifestations, and laboratory findings. A total of 131 imported cases of P. falciparum were included in the study. Results: Among the patients, 121 were male. Of these, 101 had traveled to Africa, while 30 had visited Asia. Among the patients, 109 were returned travelers, and 22 were refugees/migrants. Early trophozoites were observed in all patients, while gametocytes were detected in 30 patients. Cerebral malaria developed in 15 patients, resulting in the death of two individuals. Additionally, 10 patients received preventive chemoprophylaxis. Conclusion: Turkey is situated on migration routes that connect two continents to Europe, where more than 95% of the global malaria burden exists. The importation of malaria through returned travelers poses a risk of malaria reintroduction in our country, given the presence of suitable vectors, climate conditions, and environmental factors. Importantly, 30 patients (22.9%) exhibited gametocyte forms of P. falciparum, which have the potential to infect Anopheles species, thus establishing a basis for local malaria transmission.

Aim: In the present study, by making use of Geographical Information Systems, it was aimed to examine the changes in the number of cutaneous leishmaniasis cases in Şanlıurfa between the years 2010 and 2019 by the regions and to define the risky areas. Materials and Methods: The present study has a descriptive design. The universe of study consisted of patients, who applied to Leishmaniasis Diagnosis and Treatment Center (LDTC) and received the diagnosis of leishmaniasis and treatment in this facility between the years of 2010 and 2019. Patients’ age, gender, place of residence, total number of lesions, lesion location, lesion width, lesion clinic, and type of treatment were used in the present study. The maps were prepared involving only 68 neighborhoods having 10 or more cases. Results: Of 10,706 patients who applied to LDTC between the years of 2010 and 2019, 45.7% were male and 54.3% were female. It was determined that 80% of the cases detected between the years of 2010 and 2014 were residing in Şanlıurfa center. Considering the years between 2015 and 2019, 69% of the cases were living in Eyyübiye, one of the central districts. Given the heat maps, it was determined that the places, where the patients were living, vectorially shifted towards the southeast between the years of 2010 and 2015. Conclusion: While the northwestern neighborhoods in Şanlıurfa were risky in the early 2010s, the risk shifted to southeastern neighborhoods in the following years. It is thought that, in the coming years, majority of the cases would be in these neighborhoods because of the number of immigrants and environmental factors.

Şasi dinamometreleri motor, güç aktarma organları ve şasi bileşenlerinin test edilmesi amacıyla kullanılmaktadır. Taşıt tipi, boyutları ve ağırlığı gibi temel faktörlerin yanı sıra test cihazı yapısı, yazılımı ve ölçüm yöntemlerine göre sistem üzerinde farklı parametreler incelenebilmektedir. Test sistemi üzerinde kullanılan ekipman ve tasarım yapısına bağlı olarak ölçüm hassasiyeti değişmektedir. Günümüzde ikinci el araç kontrollerinde oto ekspertiz firmaları tarafından yaygın olarak gerçekleştirilen şasi dinamometre testlerinin doğruluğu ve güvenilirliği bir tartışma konusudur. Bu çalışmada, piyasada kullanılan şasi dinamometrelerinin ölçüm doğruluklarının araştırılması için üç farklı taşıt, iki farklı oto ekspertiz firmasında test edilmiştir. Testlerde common rail yakıt enjeksiyonuna sahip, turboşarjlı, Euro 5 emisyon normlarına uygun dizel motora ve manuel vites kutusuna sahip taşıtlar kullanılmıştır. Şasi dinamometrelerinde gerçekleştirilen tüm testlerde belirlenen standart adımlar izlenmiş olup testler basınç ve sıcaklık kaynaklı sapmaların önlenmesi için aynı lokasyondaki firmalarda gerçekleştirilmiştir. Test sonuçlarında taşıtlara ait maksimum güç ve maksimum güç devri, maksimum tork ve maksimum tork devri, ayrıca bu değerlerin fabrika verilerinden sapma miktarları elde edilmiştir. Firmalara ait test sonuçları kendi arasında ve fabrika verileri ile karşılaştırıldığında güç-tork eğrileri, maksimum güç-tork değerleri ve bu değerlerin ortaya çıktığı motor devirlerinde önemli ölçüde sapmalar oluştuğu tespit edilmiştir.

Sıçanlarda paklitaksel (PTX) kaynaklı akciğer hasarına karşı misoprostol’ün (MP) koruyucu etkilerinin incelendiği bu çalışmada, yirmi bir adet dişi Sprague-Dawley cinsi sıçan kullanıldı. Bu hayvanlardan rastgele bir seçimle Kontrol, PTX ve PTX + MP olmak üzere 3 grup (n=7) oluşturuldu. Kontrol grubuna 1 mL %0,9 NaCl intraperitoneal (i.p.) ve 1 mL %0,9 NaCl oral yolla 6 gün boyunca verildi. PTX ve PTX + MP gruplarına çalışmanın 0., 2., 4. ve 6. günlerinde her sıçana 2 mg/kg PTX i.p. olarak verildi. PTX + MP grubuna ayrıca 6 gün süreyle 0,2 mg/kg/gün MP oral olarak verildi. Doku numuneleri sıçanlardan anestezi altında alındıktan sonra bu numunelerde biyokimyasal ve histopatolojik analizler yapıldı. Yapılan analizlerde PTX grubu sıçanlarda akciğer dokusundaki süperoksit dismutaz (SOD) ve katalaz (CAT) aktiviteleri ile glutatyon (GSH) düzeyinin azaldığı, malondialdehit (MDA) düzeyinin ise yükseldiği belirlendi. Yapılan histopatolojik incelemelerde ise, PTX grubu sıçanlarda alveol yapısında düzensizlik ve kalınlaşma, perivasküler ödem ve perivasküler alanda inflamatuar hücre infiltrasyonu gibi histopatolojik değişikliklerin şekillendiği tespit edildi. PTX + MP grubunda ise, PTX grubunda tespit edilen patolojik değişikliklerin büyük oranda önlendiği görüldü. Elde edilen bu sonuçlar; PTX’in neden olduğu akciğer hasarının önlenmesinde MP’nin etkili olduğunu göstermekte olup, kanser tedavisinde bu iki ilacın birlikte kullanılmasının faydalı olacağını düşündürmektedir.

In this study, the socioeconomic factors determining the insurance inclusion variable, constructed using principal component analysis, were tested using the Parks-Kmenta estimator and quantile regression for the E7 countries. In this context, the data used in the study were obtained between 2004 and 2017, depending on the accessibility of the variables. The empirical results show that while inclusion in the insurance sector is positively influenced by macroeconomic factors such as economic growth, sustainable development, urbanization, and public expenditure variables, it is negatively affected by risk components such as global uncertainty and political risk. Thus, the results suggest that socioeconomic factors significantly influence involvement in the insurance sector. In addition, thanks to financial inclusion, the revival of E7 countries will be ensured, and the growth of the economies of these countries will accelerate.

The existence and self-realization of humans are possible due to language, language faculty, and listening acquisition. Anything animate or inanimate perceived in the external world such as an object, phenomenon, entity, etc. acquires a value due to its meaning (semantics). Due to the semantic and syntax structure of a language and its universal dimension, listening plays a key role in the acquisition of language and grammar rules. The present study aimed to discuss the significance of the acquisition of grammar rules in language and listening acquisition based on current literature. The present study data was based on a systematic literature review. In the study, studies on the relationships among language, language acquisition, listening and grammar were reviewed and the acquisition of grammar rules during language and listening acquisition was discussed. The study concluded that listening was effective in the acquisition of grammar rules.

Organik elektronik alanında üretilen yarıiletken aygıtlar yüksek elektrik alanlar altında tetiklenmektedir ve bu tür aygıtların dielektrik analizini 100-200 V'luk gerilim altında yapan cihazlar piyasada bulunmamaktadır. Bu problemi çözebilmek için yüksek gerilim altında dielektrik analiz yapabilen niteliklere sahip bir ölçüm sistemi geliştirilmiştir. Bunun için geniş bir frekans aralığında birkaç voltluk AC uygulayarak dielektrik spektroskopi analizi yapan cihaza, harici bir DC gerilim kaynağı uygun bir şekilde bağlandı. Bu iki cihazın eşzamanlı çalışması gerekmektedir fakat bu işlemin bağımsız iki cihaz için manuel olarak yapılması oldukça zordur. Bu çalışmada, geliştirdiğimiz eş zamanlı veri transfer programı kullanılarak DC gerilim kaynağı (yarıiletken malzemeler veya aygıtların Akım-Gerilim (I-V) özelliklerinin belirlenmesinde kullanılan) ve LCR Metre cihazının (Kapasitans-Gerilim (C-V), Kapasitans-Frekans (C-f), Kondüktans-Gerilim (G-V) ve Kondüktans-frekans (G-f) özelliklerinin belirlenmesinde kullanılan) eş zamanlı haberleşebilmesi için program geliştirilmiştir. Eş zamanlı veri transfer program ile elde edilen tüm veriler program arayüzünde oluşturulan Excel dosyasına aktarılarak dielektrik spektroskopik özelliklerine ait bilgiler kayıt edilmektedir. Geliştirilen programın literatürde dielektrik özellikleri daha önceden belirlenmiş malzemeler üzerine yapılan ön çalışmalarda tutarlı ve hassas veriler elde edilebildiği ve yüksek bir performansla çalıştığı gözlenmiştir.

19. yüzyılın sonlarından itibaren Avrupa ülkelerinde kullanımı hızla artış gösteren elektrik aynı yüzyıl içerisinde Osmanlı İmparatorluğu’nda da kullanılmaya başlanmıştır. İmparatorluk genelinde elektrik ilk olarak, Osmanlı donanmasında, sinema alanında telgraf ve postaların ulaşımında ve sağlık ile tıbbi teçhizat alanında kullanılmıştır. 20. yüzyıla gelindiğinde ise elektriğin kullanım alanı oldukça yayılmıştır. Bu yayılışa bağlı olarak pek çok insan elektrikten faydalanma girişiminde bulunmuştur. Bu girişimler daha çok elektrik makinaları ile aydınlatma şeklinde gerçekleşmiştir. Nitekim imparatorluk bu talebe karşılık kayıtsız kalmayarak elektriği kamu hizmeti olarak halkın kullanımına sunmuştur. Böylece elektriğin son kullanım alanı kamu hizmeti olarak gerçekleşmiştir. Bu hizmet ise imparatorluğun son yıllarında olduğu gibi ilk yıllarında da özel girişimciler aracılığı ile hayata geçirilmiştir. Cumhuriyet döneminde kurumları millileştirme politikası çerçevesinde yerli sermayenin denetimi altına alınan elektriğin bir örneği de Urfa kentinde gerçekleşmiştir. Bu bağlamda Urfa kentinde elektrik ile ilgili her türlü gelişmenin değerlendirildiği bu çalışmada Devlet Arşivleri, yerel basın arşivi ile araştırma ve inceleme eserlerden istifade edilmiştir.

The COVID-19 pandemic has made distance education compulsory for all students in primary, secondary, and higher education in Turkey. This situation has brought about many changes in teaching methods, material use, assessment and evaluation processes, and course durations. This study investigates the effects of these changes on secondary school mathematics teachers and their adaptation processes. This study conducted using a qualitative approach as a case study, included 75 secondary school mathematics teachers working in Turkey in the 2020–2021 academic year. The data collection process was conducted online with a semi-structured interview form via Google Form. The obtained data were evaluated by content analysis. According to the findings of the research, teachers tend to provide skill-based questions as homework during the distance education process, rather than the lesson. Teachers who have negative judgments about assessment-evaluation processes find the course durations in distance education insufficient. Teachers who use different motivation tools in the distance education process, on the one hand, think that the process improves them; on the other hand, they expressed their concerns in terms of professional development. Teachers need more support and training to cope with the difficulties they face in the distance education process. In addition, they should be supported to improve themselves in online assessment and evaluation strategies and increase student participation.

This study examined the relationship between labour productivity and agricultural agriculture development in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) from 1991 to 2021. The study is based cross-sectional data covering the period 1991-2021 on nine (9) SSA countries sourced from the World Bank Development Indicator (WDI) database. The result of the Panel Dynamic Least Squares (POLS) estimation technique utilised revealed that population growth (β = 0.0203, t-value = 2.092, & Prob. = 0.0398) exerts a significant positive effect on agricultural development while both industrial output (β = -0.8698, t-value = -2.1225, & Prob. = 0.0371) and services productivity (-1.2667, t-value = -2.6510, & Prob. = 0.0098) exert a significant negative effect at 5% level of significance. Although, the effect of labour productivity on agricultural development is negative (β = -0.2335, t-value = -0.949, Prob. = 0.3455), it is not statistically significant. Thus, the low productivity in industrial sector and the structural shift in favour of services posed adverse effect on agricultural productivity in SSA. This underscore the need to maximise the potentials of the population growth through policy options including rural infrastructural development, price supports, crop insurance and tax incentives to stabilise income and make the sector attractive to the labour force.

Sağlık, ekonomi, terörizm, savaş, demokrasi ve benzeri konulardaki korku kaynakları özellikle seçim dönemlerinde insanların sevk ve idarelerini sağlamak amacıyla daha yoğun şekilde kullanılmaktadır. Çok kısa sürede geniş kitlelere erişilebilmesini sağlayan sosyal medya platformları ise belirli amaçlar doğrultusunda oluşturulan bu korkuların yayılımına hizmet etmektedir. Özellikle toplumsal hareketlerin ve siyasi konuların mecrası haline gelen Twitter, aynı zamanda söz konusu korkuların üretildiği, dağıtıldığı ve tüketildiği bir mecradır. Bu bağlamda çalışmada, korkunun siyasi çıkarlar doğrultusunda kullanılmasına açıklık getirmek amacıyla Cumhur ve Millet İttifakı’nda yer alan siyasi parti liderlerinin 2023 Türkiye Cumhurbaşkanlığı Seçimine hazırlık döneminde paylaştıkları tweetler içerik analizi tekniği ile incelenmiştir. İki haftalık zaman diliminde paylaşılan tweetlerle sınırlı olan bu çalışma, korkunun Twitter ve siyasetle bağdaştırılarak incelendiği nadir çalışmalardan bir tanesi olması nedeniyle önem taşımaktadır. Analizler sonucunda, makul oranda kullanılması halinde korkunun daha geniş kitlelere erişebilmeyi sağladığı, ancak korku kültürünün siyasi başarıda tek başına belirleyici bir role sahip olmadığı görülmüştür.

Amaç: Önceki çalışmalarımızda adipokinetik hormonun (AKH) farelerde antidepresan, anksiyolitik, analjezik etkilerini, nörotrofik faktörleri ve nörojenezi artırdığını gösterdik. Önceki çalışmamızda, AKH’nun sıçanlara intraperitoneal uygulanmasından sonra diğer çalışmalarla desteklendiği şekilde piroglutamil peptidleri içeren AKH metabolitlerinin kan-beyin bariyerini geçtiğini hipotez ettik. It has been mentioned in many academic and non-academic studies that Seyit Rıza, who was at the center of the rebellion that took place in Tunceli in 1937, wrote a letter to the United Kingdom Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the League of Nations and sought support for the rebellion. In the letters, in summary, the international community is invited to intervene by complaining about the following issues: The Turkish state targeted civilians in Dersim, waged an unjust war, including suffocating gas; Kurds were oppressed, forced to migrate and massacred. Although these two letters have been the subject of many academic and non-academic studies, they have been briefly mentioned and no detailed study has been done on them. In academic studies, the subject is not discussed as a whole, and the views put forward in non-academic studies on the subject have not been discussed with solid sources and justifications. The main research problem of this study is to determine by whom and for what purpose these two letters sent to the British Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the League of Nations were written. Archival documents, memoirs and current research on the subject are the main sources of this study. In the article, firstly, general information about the letters and their contents is given, and then the discussions about these letters are summarized. Finally, the form and content analyzes of the text were made and it was discussed by whom and for what purpose the letters were written by making use of archival documents and testimonies of the period. As a result of the study, it was concluded that the aforementioned letters were written by Mr. Baytar Nuri unaware of Seyit Rıza and sent to the relevant places.

Aim:The anteromedial approach in medial open reduction techniques is rarely used to treat developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH). The objective of this study was to present the clinical and radiological outcomes of DDH patients treated with the anteromedial approach.Methods:Fifty-nine hips of 52 patients aged between 6 and 18 months who underwent medial open reduction between 2009 and 2017 through an anteromedial approach and who had at least 5 years of follow-up were retrospectively evaluated. Results were reviewed in terms of avascular necrosis (AVN) rates and the need for further surgery.Results:At the last follow-up, the rate of clinically significant AVN was 11.9%. Additional corrective surgery was performed on 20.3% of the patients. According to the modified McKay classification, 91.5% of the patients had excellent results. Radiologically, 93.2% of the patients were classified as Severin type 1. The mean age at operation time and initial Tönnis type of patients were significantly higher in patients who required advanced corrective surgery than in those who did not (p=0.042 and p=0.018, respectively).Conclusion:The anteromedial approach is safe and practical for improving radiological outcomes and reducing the need for further surgery. Long-term studies focusing on the period after bone formation are required.

Aim:Urea cycle disorders (UCD) still have poor neurological outcomes despite early diagnosis and treatment. We aimed to present the neurological outcomes of UCD patients and to determine the main simple and accessible factors affecting these outcomes.Materials and Methods:This was a descriptive cross-sectional study conducted in two pediatric metabolism centers on 29 patients from 25 unrelated families who were diagnosed and followed with UCD based on clinical presentation, neurological parameters, biochemical measurements, and molecular analysis.Results:Within the study population, the most common diagnosis was argininosuccinate synthase deficiency in 13 (44.82%) patients, followed by N-acetylglutamate synthase deficiency in five patients (17.24%), ornithine transcarbamylase deficiency in four patients (13.79%), arginase 1 deficiency in three patients (10.34%), carbamoyl phosphate synthase 1 deficiency in three patients (10.34%), and argininosuccinate lyase deficiency in one patient (3.44%). Peak ammonia levels were observed to be significantly higher in those patients with delayed milestones and patients who had Denver II 500 μmol/L (n=18). Those patients with abnormal neurological parameters had a significantly higher mean number of hyperammonemic episodes per year. Extracorporeal detoxification was given to eight patients, in combination with therapeutic hypothermia in two patients. Rapid regression was observed in brain edema in those who underwent therapeutic hypothermia.Conclusion:Our study emphasizes the effect of peak ammonia levels and the frequency of hyperammonemic episodes on neurological outcomes. There were still poor neurocognitive outcomes despite extracorporeal detoxification. This highlights the need to reassess current treatment strategies, including the threshold for starting extracorporeal detoxification if ammonia levels exceed 500 µmol/L. The use of therapeutic hypothermia by experienced teams may be promising due to its brain edema-reducing effects.

As a three-handed social process including pre-service teachers, teacher educators from academia, and mentor teachers from schools of practice, teaching practicum, with its reflective and collaborative notions, has recently gained more interest in the field of English language teaching (ELT). In this regard, this systematic review aimed to find out recent research based on teaching practicum in ELT. Regarding the PRISMA guidelines and clear eligibility criteria, the review included a total of 24 research articles based on the ELT teaching practicum. Of the articles, the majority were qualitative studies and mostly conducted in EFL (English as a foreign language) contexts such as Türkiye and Indonesia. MAXQDA (v.2020) software-based content analysis was conducted to analyze data, and the findings were demonstrated via tables including themes, categories, and codes. The study concluded that teaching practicum has several professional (e.g., theoretical and practical awareness, classroom management, and reflective practice) and personal gains (e.g., positive beliefs and attitudes toward ELT, reflectivity, more interaction and communication, and self-confidence) for pre-service ELT teachers. On the other hand, the selected studies also stressed negative professional aspects (e.g., the incompatibility between theory and practice, lack of feedback, and inefficient mentoring) and personal (e.g., lack of reflectivity, adaptation problems, and lack of social contact). The review lastly included implications revealed by these studies to shed light on the issue of ELT practicum for supporting further research.

The maize breeding programs focuses on the development of homozygous parental lines for hybrid breeding to obtain heterosis. The Improvement of homozygous lines in a effective time is crucial for hybrid maize breeding. Objectives of this research were to obtain homozygous lines of maize in a short time by using of in-vivo maternal haploid (DH) technique and characterizing them morphologically. The experiments were carried out at the Eastern Mediterranean Agricultural Research Institute(EMARI). Inducers, RWS, RWK-76 and their hybrid RWS X RWK-76 were used as male parent. As female parent, 56 F2 segregated material obtained by selfing of 66 F1 hybrids developed in maize breeding program of Eastern Mediterranean Agricultural Research Institute (EMARI) and 2 F2 segregated material selected from the open pollinated plants of 9 commercial maize variety. As a result of the experiment, 29 doubled haploid lines (DH) were developed. In the developed DH lines, days to tasseling, plant height, height of first ear , ear length, ear diameter, number of kernel per ear and thousand kernel weight varied as 57-78 days, 151-248 cm, 43-112 cm, 11.20-24.50 cm, 24-45 mm, 224-537 kernels/ear, and 180-320 g, respectively.
