This study examined the relationship between psychological resilience, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment. The study, which was conducted with the relational survey model, was attended by 204 women and 176 men, 380 people in total (MAge=37,87±7,88) working in the Directorate of Youth and Sports. Participants answered the personal information form, "The Brief Resilience Scale (BRS)", "Job Satisfaction Scale (JSS)" and "Organizational Commitment Scale (OCS)". After data collection, the basic assumptions of parametric tests were tested, and a model was created to examine the relationship between "BRS", "JSS" and "OCS" and the causal relationship between the latent variables was analyzed with the Structural Equation Model. The Pearson correlation analysis results showed significant positive correlations between the mean scores of "BRS", "JSS" and "OCS". When the goodness of fit values of the model were examined, it was found that all values were within acceptable limits. SEM results showed that psychological resilience had direct positive significant effects on job satisfaction (βBRS-JSS=0.22; p

PSYCHOLOGICAL resilience , *VOCATIONAL school students , *VOCATIONAL guidance , *GENDER differences (Psychology) , *ANXIETY - Abstract
Today, it is necessary for a healthy career decision-making process that students can make their career planning without worry. Psychological resilience functions as an important variable for students to take part in a healthy career process. In this context, the study is conducted to measure to what extent the psychological resilience of vocational school students affects their career anxieties and whether both variables differ according to gender. The descriptive relational survey model is used in the research. Data are collected from 241 participants by questionnaire method and analyzed through SPSS program. According to the results of the analysis, it is determined that the students have moderate psychological resilience and career anxiety. In addition, it is observed that there is a statistically significant negative relationship between resilience and career anxiety, and that resilience has a negative effect on career anxiety. In other words, as the psychological resilience of the students increases, their career anxieties decrease. In terms of gender, it is determined that the psychological resilience of male students is higher than that of females, and there is no difference between genders in terms of career anxiety. In this research, it was aimed to assess the influence of social media addiction and psychological resilience on online purchasing decisions from a marketing standpoint. A survey was administered to 384 university students, comprising a demographic questionnaire, the Online Decision-Making Scale (ODMS), the Social Media Addiction Scale (SMAS), and the Psychological Resilience Scale (PRS). Psychological resilience (PRS) exhibited a significant negative correlation with sensitivity to brand dimension of ODMS. SMAS total scores were positively correlated with sensitivity to quality, sensitivity to brand, sensitivity to innovation, sensitivity to mobility and sensitivity to web interface. The effect of social media addiction on online purchase decisions was statistically significant and positive, while the effect of psychological resilience was statistically insignificant. The findings indicate that university students' addiction to social media positively influences their online shopping behavior. As levels of social media addiction increase, students tend to engage in more online purchases.

ABSTRACT: Call centers are among the professions that require a very strong psychological resilience. The ability of call center employees, who work under intense workload and stress, to cope with difficulties varies depending on the level of psychological resilience. Due to the limited research in the literature related to the sector, a study has been conducted within the scope of this work, focusing on exploring the perceptions of psychological resilience of call center employees, factors that positively and negatively affect this resilience, and the strategies and methods preferred to strengthen psychological resilience. For this purpose, in the study, a focus group interview was conducted with nine (9) employees selected from different call centers using qualitative research methods. As a result of the data analysis, it has been revealed that employees define their psychological resilience as coping with difficulties, maintaining a positive attitude, performance under stress, empathy, customer communication, and motivation preservation. Additionally, the presence of a supportive team and management in the work environment, regular feedback, training and development opportunities, open communication, and appreciative communication have been identified as factors that strengthen psychological resilience. However, it has been found that situations such as negative customer interactions, high-paced work environment, technological problems, constantly changing work conditions, and long working hours challenge the employees' psychological resilience. Call center employees use strategies such as resting, emotional control, effective communication, personal care, in-service training, and time management to cope with difficulties. The research concludes that focusing on strategies such as stress management, team activities, continuous learning, personal skills training, psychological counseling services, and flexible working hours can be beneficial to increase psychological resilience. At the same time, suggestions have been presented on how psychological resilience can be strengthened in a stable and sustainable manner.

Objective: The effects of religiousness, forgiveness, and psychological resilience in patients with fibromyalgia have been investigated with regard to various aspects in the literature. However, there is no study investigating the effects of these concepts collectively in patients with fibromyalgia symptoms. The aim of this study was to investigate whether religious belief, forgiving nature and psychological resilience had any relationship with fibromyalgia symptom burden. Methods: This descriptive study included 49 patients aged between 18–65 years with a diagnosis of fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS) who had applied to the out-patient clinic of the Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Department of a University Hospital between 15 December 2019 and 15 April 2020. Results: There were a total of 49 female patients in this study. The mean age of the patients participating in the study was 45.04 ± 9.25 years. Religiousness was found to be significantly associated with some subscales of psychological resilience. Additionally, most subscales of psychological resilience were significantly related with the severity of fibromyalgia. The level of religious belief influenced the relationship between psychological resilience and the severity of fibromyalgia. Conclusion: In this study, it has been found that religious belief and forgiveness levels did not have a direct effect on fibromyalgia symptoms. Most of the subscales of psychological resilience were found to be associated with the severity of fibromyalgia symptoms. It is clear that psychological resilience has an effect on the severity of fibromyalgia symptoms, but further research is needed to assess mechanisms.

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between psychological resilience, cognitive emotion regulation and life satisfaction variables of women who have and have not been exposed to violence. The sample of the study consists of 411 women between the ages of 18-60 living in Turkey with at least literacy level. Sociodemographic data of all participants were collected. Resilience Scale for Adults (RSA), Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (CERQ) and Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS) were used to compare the psychological resilience, cognitive emotion regulation and life satisfaction scores of women who were exposed to violence and those who were not. The scores of the women who were exposed to violence from the Resilience Scale for Adults and the sub-dimension of family adjustment in the scale were lower than those who were not exposed to violence. The scores of the women who were exposed to violence in the sub-dimension of self-blame, rumination, catastrophizing and blaming others were found to be higher than those who did not experience violence, and the scores of the positive reappraisal sub-dimension of the women who were exposed to violence were found to be lower. The Satisfaction With Life Scale scores of the women exposed to violence are significantly lower than the women who are not exposed to violence. It is important to define the sociodemographic characteristics of women who have been subjected to violence, the characteristics of the violence they have experienced, the risk factors and protective factors against violence.

The research was carried out with the participation of between the ages of 18-40, having a romantic relationship or married. Demographic information form, Family Sense of Coherence Scale, e Self- Efficacy in Romantic Relationships Scale and The Brief Resilience Scale were used as data collection tools. In the analysis of the data, the four-stage mediator variable analysis criteria developed by Baron and Kenny (1986) were used, and the analyzes were carried out with the SPSS 26.00 package program. Findings show that family coherence score, resilience, and self-efficacy in romantic relationships are all positively and significantly correlated with each other (p<.05). The results of the analysis show that the sense of family cohesion positively and significantly predicts self-efficacy in romantic relationships (B=.401, p<.05). In addition, in the hierarchical regression analysis carried out, with the addition of resilience skill to the equation, the beta value of the sense of family cohesion variable decreased significantly from 0.401 (p<.05) to 0.326 (p<.05) (Sobel z= 2.06, p<.05).). As a result, it is not possible to talk about the full mediation effect between the variables. However, it was found that the resilience skill showed a partial mediating variable feature between the sense of family cohesion and self-efficacy in romantic relationships. All findings are discussed in the light of studies in the literature. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
Call centers are among the professions that require a very strong psychological resilience. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

PSYCHOLOGICAL well-being , *SELF-efficacy , *PSYCHOLOGICAL resilience , *TEACHERS - Abstract
In addition to the importance of the COVID-19 pandemic in the field of public health and medicine, the studies on its short and long-term impacts on business life are increasingly diversifying. In this context, the primary aim of this study is to explore the impact of perceived selfefficacy and psychological resilience on the psychological well-being of social studies teachers, who have had to rapidly adapt to major changes and transformations during the pandemic. For this purpose, using Stata and SPSS, we employ confirmatory factor analysis, correlation, and multiple regression analyses on the data obtained by survey technique from the sample of 183 social studies teachers in schools affiliated with Mugla Provincial Directorate of National Education. As a result of these analyses, it was found that the self-efficacy perceptions of the participants had a positive and significant effect on their psychological well-being. However, it was observed that only "perception of future" of the resilience dimensions of the participants had a positive and significant impact on psychological wellbeing. In other words, the sub-dimensions of perception of self, social competence, structural style, family cohesion and social resources of psychological resilience did not have a significant effect on psychological well-being. POSTTRAUMATIC growth , *PSYCHOLOGICAL resilience , *RELIGIOUS psychology - Abstract
The significance of increasing resilience and supporting post traumatic development has been understood with disease-centered approaches, which leave their places to competency-building-centered approaches in the field of psychology. For this reason, researchers' interest in topics such as "resilience" and "posttraumatic growth" has increased in recent years. That the influence of religious coping in the process is generally positive has been shown in research. This study aimed to examine whether positive and negative religious coping has a mediation effect on the relationship between resilience and posttraumatic growth. The mediation model, a correlational survey model, was used as the research method. The data set was created using the Brief Resilience Scale", "Posttraumatic Growth Scale" (PTGI-X), "Religious Coping Scale", and personal information form. Within the scope of the research, the data were collected via Google Forms from 322 volunteer participants living in different regions of Turkey and above 18 years of age. However, since 11 participants stated that they had not experienced any trauma, the analysis continued with the data of 311 participants who reported having experienced trauma. Data analysis was performed using SPSS 25 packaged software. Since the analyses conducted within the scope of the research showed a normal distribution of the data, the analysis of the data was performed using t-test, One Way Anova test, and correlation and regression tests among parametric tests in addition to the SPSS Process Macro add-in (Model 4) developed by Hayes for mediation analysis. It was seen in the research that there was a significant difference between the groups in resilience, posttraumatic growth, and positive and negative religious coping levels of the participants according to age, marital status, and socioeconomic level variables. There was no significant differentiation between the groups according to gender and educational level variables. Accordingly, it was found that the resilience of the 18-24 age group was significantly lower than that of all age groups, apart from the to 25-34 age group. Moreover, it was found that the 35-44 age group appealed significantly more frequently to positive religious coping than the 25-34 age group. A study in which the resilience of married individuals was found to be significantly higher than that of single, single, and more frequently used negative religious coping methods than married. On the other hand, it was detected in the research that the participants indicated that they were in the lower-intermediate income group more frequently appealed to negative religious coping than the upper-intermediate group. The existence of significant relationships between variables is a pre-condition for conducting a mediation analysis. Therefore, the relationships between variables were examined by performing a correlation analysis. The results revealed significant positive relationships between resilience, posttraumatic growth, and positive religious coping variables. However, the analysis conducted in the research showed that relationships between negative religious coping, resilience, and posttraumatic growth were negative, and the regression analysis conducted to examine the relationships between variables in detail revealed that resilience significantly predicted posttraumatic growth. In this study, resilience was also found to be a positive predictor of positive religious coping but a negative predictor of negative religious coping. Similarly, positive religious coping was found to be a positive predictor of posttraumatic, while negative religious coping was a negative predictor of posttraumatic growth. After these analyses were carried out, the study investigated the mediating impact of positive and negative religious coping on the relationship between resilience and posttraumatic growth using the Process Macro add-in. In the research, the total impact of resilience on posttraumatic growth was found to be "0,227" and it was concluded that the total impact occurred through the partial mediation of positive religious coping. When these findings were investigated in terms of mediation impacts, it was understood that resilience had an indirect effect on posttraumatic growth through positive religious coping, and this indirect effect was statistically significant (β=,060, p <0,01). The significant relationship between resilience and posttraumatic growth was significant demonstrates that the mediation impact of positive religious coping was not full but partial. However, the impact of resilience on posttraumatic growth through negative religious coping was not found to be statistically significant (β=, 011, p> 0.5). It was also concluded that when the direct and indirect impact scores were considered, approximately 26% of the total impact of resilience on posttraumatic growth was caused by positive religious coping. The results showed that the impact of resilience on posttraumatic growth was realized to a great extent through positive religious coping. Based on these findings, it could be stated that the impact of participants' resilience on their posttraumatic growth was partially caused by the fact that they adopted positive religious coping methods. Therefore, it can be said that individuals who demonstrate resilience, stand firm, and quickly recover from trauma can have some positive changes in their senses of self, in interpersonal relations, in understanding the meaning and value of life, noticing new options, and in their religious/spiritual lives after trauma in the case that they receive support from religion by adopting positive religious coping and stay away from negative religious coping during this period, and thus, they can develop. This study aims to examine the motives for participation in sports and the psychological resilience of soccer players. A total of 351 volunteer football players who had been actively playing football for at least 5 years participated in the study. Psychological resilience scale for adults and sport participation motivation scale were used as data collection tools in the study. According to the study results, those aged 18-21 use different sports participation motives. There are differences between age groups in psychological resilience sub-dimensions. A high relationship was found between the sub-dimensions of sport participation and psychological resilience sub-dimensions. This correlation may be due to the team unity of football players. When the differences between the positions are analysed, there are differences in the sub-dimensions of sports participation and psychological resilience. These differences can be related to the position and abilities of the players due to the game structure.

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationships between internet addiction, social isolation, psychological resilience and organisational citizenship behaviour in physical education teachers. For this purpose, a hypothetical model was developed based on the relevant literature. The research was conducted with 840 physical education teachers working in schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education between 2020-2021 academic years. Young Internet Addiction Scale, Nottingham Health Profile (NSP), Psychological Resilience Scale for Adults, Organisational Citizenship Behaviour Scale and Personal Information Form were used in the study. Descriptive statistics and structural equation modelling (SEM) were used to analyse the data. The significance level was determined as 0.05. According to the results obtained from the analyses, the proposed hypothetical model was confirmed. Accordingly, internet addiction positively affects social isolation. On the other hand, internet addiction affects psychological resilience negatively. The effect of social isolation on psychological resilience is negative. Psychological resilience has a positive effect on organisational citizenship behaviour. In the proposed model, it was found that there are direct effects between internet addiction, social isolation, psychological resilience and organisational citizenship behaviour, but there are no indirect effects.

Aim: To determine nurses' level of psychological resilience in the COVID-19 pandemic process and to compare according to some personal and professional characteristics. Method: The data of this descriptive and cross-sectional study were collected in January 2022 from 498 nurses who could be reached through an online questionnaire and convenience sampling method and who agreed to participate in the study. The Connor-Davidson Psychological Resilience Scale and an introductory information form that includes two visual analogue scales for measuring nurses' individual and professional confidence levels were used. Results: Nurses' total score of the psychological resilience scale was 66.31+-18.16. Nurses' individual confidence (5.04+-2.14) was lower than their professional confidence (6.88+-2.03). Positive, weak and statistically highly significant relationships were found between nurses' psychological resilience measures and their individual and professional self-confidence levels. In addition, psychological resilience levels of nurses working in private hospitals and managerial positions, and nurses with more working experience were higher. Conclusion: As a result, nurses' psychological resilience level was above moderate in the COVID-19 pandemic process. And nurses' personal characteristics such as age and education level did not make a significant difference in their psychological resilience levels, but their professional characteristics such as position they worked in, institution type and professional experience made a significant difference. These results may benefit managers in developing and implementing strategies that will foster nurses' psychological resilience.
