KURZFASSUNGUniversitätsdozent Dr. Walther Penck aus Leipzigwurde im Oktober 1915 an die Universität Istanbul als ordentlicher Professorder Mineralogie und Geologie berufen. Zusammen mit Hamit Nafiz Bey (Pamir), derihm als Assistent beiseite gestellt wurde, hat er das Geologisch MineralogischeInstitut der Universität Istanbul gegründet. Penck und Hamit Nafiz Bey fingensofort an, einen neuen und modernen Lehrplan auszuarbeiten und zugleich dieersten geologischen Forschungsarbeiten auszuführen. Nach drei Jahren ging Prof.Penck zusammen mit seiner Familie nach Deutschland, um sich wegen seinerMalariaerkrankung weiterbehandeln zu lassen. Er konnte aber nicht wiederzurückkehren, da erst die chaotischen Umstände der Nachkriegszeit und dann dieRegelungen der Alliierten es nicht zugelassen haben. Dieser Artikel wurdeverfasst, um diese Periode der Geschichte der Geologie in der Türkei zubeleuchten und mit Hilfe von Dokumenten aus dem Familienarchiv Penck gewisseEinschnitte aus dem Leben eines deutschen Gelehrten und seiner Familie inIstanbul darzustellen.ÖZ1915 yılında İstanbul Darülfünuna Jeoloji ve Mineraloji Müderrisiolarak atanan Doçent Dr. Walther Penck, asistan olarak görevlendirilen HamitNafiz (Pamir) Beyle birlikte İlmül-arz Dar-ül Mesaisi’ni (Jeoloji Enstitüsünü)kurarak, Türkiye’de ilk sistematik jeoloji eğitimi ve araştırmalarınıbaşlatmıştır. Türkiye’ye dönmeçabaları, önce harp yıllarının sonundaki karmaşıklıklar, sonra da savaştanmağlup çıkan Osmanlı İmparatorluğu bünyesindeki tüm Alman unsurlarınınfaaliyetlerine İtilaf Devletlerince son verilmesi nedeniyle sonuçsuz kalmıştır.Bu makalede Prof. Dr. Penck’inİstanbul’da geçirdiği üç yıllık dönemin az bilinen veya hiç bilinmeyenyönlerine ve Jeolojinin ülkemizdeki tarihçesine, Penck Ailesinin kişiselarşivinde günümüze kadar korunmuş belgelerin yardımıyla, ışık tutulmayaçalışılmıştır., Privat Dozent Dr. Walther Penck was one of theGerman scholars, who were invited in 1915 to Istanbul, in order to reformizeand improve the education at Istanbul Darülfünunu (Istanbul University). He was appointed as the Professor of Geologyand Mineralogy and had founded together with his assistant Hamit Nafiz (Pamir)Bey the Institute of Geology and Mineralogy. This establishment dates thebeginning of a systematic education and research of geology in Turkey. For the treatment of malaria Penck was forcedto go to Germany in the early summer of 1918. His attempts to return to Turkeyremained inconclusive due to the chaotic conditions at the end of the war anddue to the capitulation regulations of the Alliance.In this paper, with the help of some documentsfrom the archive of Penck’s Family, we will try to shed light on unknown and/orless known items of the three years until 1918, he spent in Istanbul.

This study aims to review empirical studies that were used to evaluate the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral group therapy programs for the treatment of social phobia (social anxiety disorder) in adults. Articles in English and Turkish that were published between the years of 2005 and 2015 have been searched in the national and international databases. The articles that were not therapy effectiveness studies, and group therapies that not based on cognitive behavioral approach, re-searches that examined different disorder apart from social phobia were eliminated. The remaining 27 studies that met the criteria were introduced in the context of method, therapy characteristics and results. Findings of articles revealed that cognitive behavior group therapy for social phobia decreases social phobia symptoms and improves the quality of life in adults. © 2016, Psikiyatride Güncel Yaklaşımlar.

Aladag region had precipitated in Devonian Alt Creatse time interval in middle Taurus. This region had been tectonic events along with long durations. Because of ıt contains nappe structured allocton Yahyalı, Siyah Aladag, Minaretepler, Cataloturan, Beyaz Aladağ nappes and ophiolitic melange stocks in Aladağ region. Around Ispirtepe of Aladag region two types of mineralization had been found. First mineralization is seen in Mineratepe's stocks Upper Trias aged dolomitic limestone and Kretase aged ophiolitic melange intersection. Ore is seen by being fault filling through North and South directed faults. Second mineralization is structured as sulphide ore part which has been carried by morens to the area. The galenite blocks have been about one meter. There is a moren cover an ore blocks in northern part of mineralization in the area. Paragenesis has been found in ored-samples with respect to microscopic ore workings it is found that first ore minerals are galenite, sphalerite, pyrite, fahlerz (tetrahedrite), chalcopyrite and their alterational products which are smithsonite, gotite, malachite, seruzite, anglezite, lepidocrosite, gang mineralization of calsit, dolomite and quartz., Orta Toroslar'da yer alan Aladağ Bölgesi, Devoniyen-Alt Kretase zaman aralığında çökelmiştir. Bölgeye, uzun süre tektonizma etkin olmuştur. Bu nedenle bölgede nap yapılı allokton Yahyalı, Siyah Aladağ, Minaretepeler, Çataloturan, Beyaz Aladağ napları ve ofiyolitli melanj istifleri meydana gelmiştir. Aladağ bölgesindeki İspirtepe civarında iki türlü cevherleşmeye rastlanmıştır. Birinci cevherleşme, Minaretepeler istifine ait Üst Triyas yaşlı dolomitik kireç taşları ile Kretase yaşlı ofiyolitik melanj dokanağında gözlenmektedir. Cevher K-G doğrultulu kırıklarda kırık dolgusu şeklinde gözlenir. İkinci cevherleşme ise cevherli fay zonlarının çevresinde bölgeye morenlerle taşınarak gelen sülfitli cevher parçaları şeklindedir. Bu cevher parçaları içerisindeki galenit bloklarının boyları bir metreye kadar ulaşmaktadır. Bölgedeki cevherli örneklerde yapılan cevher mikroskopisi çalışmaları ile mineral parajenezi belirlenmiştir. Birincil cevher minerali olarak galenit, sfalerit, pirit, fahlerz (tetrahedrit), kalkoprit ve bunların dönüşüm ürünü olarak simitsonit, anglezit, serüzit, malahit, götit ve lepidokrokit, gang minerali olarak kalsit, dolomit ve kuvars belirlenmiştir.

Aim: The objective of this case report is to present a successful root canal treatment of a maxillary first molar having three mesiobuccal canals with separate orifices. Case presentation: An 18 year old female patient was admitted to our clinic, complaining from severe pain. We observed during the clinical examination that root canal treatment of the maxillary right first molar was already initiated. The tooth was percussion sensitive, cold and heat sensitive, although there was no referred pain. A broken endodontic instrument in the disto-buccal root canal was found during the radiographic examination. After extensive clinical and radiographic examination tooth was prepared for nonsurgical endodontic treatment. Starting the endodontic treatment, it was observed the presence of two canals orifices in the buccomesial root with no preparation. Though we failed to remove the fracture for the endodontic instrument, the instrument was bypassed. Root canals were obturated with guttapercha and sealer. The tooth was restored with composite resin. Conclusion: Recall examination as far as 6 months post-treatment found no sensitivity to percussion or palpation and recall radiography after treatment show no evidence of any periradicular lesion.

Than dentin bonding systems Clearfil SE Bond applied and specimens restorated with composite resin. All products were used according to manufacturer's instructions. Bond strengths were tested and data were statistically analyzed one-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and Tukey tests. The kinds of evaluation in education differ depending on the input, progress and output of the curriculum. The large-scale evaluation exams implemented in our country serve, in general, different aims as grading, electing, placing, holding accountable, observing and indicating status. In this paper, the datas of average exam success of the same students gained from the Placement Exams for transition to secondary education (SBS) implemented in the years 2008-2009-2010 by the Ministry of National Education and the Placement Exam for Student Success (ÖBSS) implemented by the abolished Research and Improvement Presidency (EARGED) of the Ministry of National Education are compared. The field successes in the datas of SBS and ÖBBS in the 2008-2009- 2010 are evaluated based on class and year and the trend is provided to be observed. As a result of the study, it is seen that there is a similarity between the SBS and ÖBBS in terms of ordering the student's academic success. This result shows that these two exams can be used interchangebly. Therefore, the opinion that removing the SBS, which is competition based and requires long-term exam preparation besides creating stress and pressure on the students, would be beneficial has gained strength. With the observation-aimed evaluations which can be done instead of SBS, it will be possible to have similar results and also do research to improve the process determining the underwhelming points of teaching efforts.

Bu makalede İstanbul Üniversitesi Jeoloji Bölümünde hazırlanmış doktora tezlerinin, konu, danışman öğretimüyesi ve tamamlanma yılı esas alınarak derlenmiş bir listesi ve bu listenin çeşitli kriterlerin ışığında yapılmış birdeğerlendirilmesi sunulmaktadır.İlk doktora çalışması 1941 yılında tamamlanmıştır. O tarihten 2010 yılına kadar 26 öğretim üyesinin danışmanlığında140 tez başarıyla bitirilmiştir. 1958 yılına kadar olan dönemde tamamlanan tezlerin sayısı ve sürekliliği sınırlıkalmıştır. Bunun nedeni bu dönemde danışmanlık yapabilecek öğretim üyesi sayısının çok az oluşudur. Buna karşın1975-1997 dönemi en çok tezin tamamlandığı dönem olarak dikkat çekmektedir. Akartuna, Öztunalı, Altınlı, Baykalve Eroskay, sırasıyla 23, 16, 12, 10 ve 10 tezle, en çok tez yönetmiş profesörlerdir.Konularının ışığında tezler altı grupta toplanarak değerlendirilmiştir. Bunlar, Genel Jeoloji-1 ve 2 – Mineraloji vePetroloji – Maden Yatakları ve Jeokimya – Petrol Jeolojisi ve Kömür Jeolojisi – Uygulamalı Jeoloji’dir. BaşlangıçtaGenel Jeoloji konularında yoğunlaşan tez konuları ilerleyen dönemlerde giderek artan bir oranda tüm alanlarayayılmıştır. Tamamlanan doktora tezlerinin büyük bir kısmı bir yabancı dilde Fen Fakültesi Mecmuası, B Serisi ve/veya Monografilerinde yayınlanmıştır.

Amaç: Gece saatlerinde meydana gelen kan basıncındaki düsmenin kaybolması artmıs kardiyovasküler olay sıklığı ile yakından iliskilidir. Amacımız çalısmamızda gece kan basıncı düsmeyen patern olusumu, kardiyak otonomik fonksiyonlar, serum ürik asit düzeyi ve düsük seviyeli inflamasyon arasındaki iliskiyi arastırmaktır. Yöntem: Çalısmaya hipertansiyon açısından tetkik edilen ve kriterlere uygun 92 hasta alındı. AKBM, 24 saatlik holter EKG kaydı, hsCRP ve diğer rutin laboratuar ve ekokardiyografik incelemeler elde edildi. Gruplar arasında mevcut parametreler karsılastırıldı. Ayrıca gece kan basıncı düsmeyen patern gelisimine, KHD parametrelerine etki edebilecek faktörler açısından tek ve çok değiskenli istatistiki analizler uygulandı. 34 ÖZET AN ayakta görülen aksesuar kemiklerden en büyüğüdür ve üç tipe ayrılır. Bu çalışmada yürüme analizi laboratuarına başvuran 875 hastadan, röntgen grafilerinden AN'sı olduğu tespit edilen 99 tanesi değerlendirildi. Hem dinamik ( plantar basınç dağılım ölçüm sistemi 'EMED-SF 2 (Germany)' kullanılarak), hem de statik (radyografilerde talo 1. metatarsal, talohorizontal ve talokalkaneal açılar ölçülerek) yöntemlerle ayağın medial ark yükseldiği incelendi. Basınç resimleri, yazılım yardımı ile otomatik olarak bölünerek 'ark indeksi' değerleri bulundu. Karşılaştırma yapabilmek için 31 kişilik kontrol grubu oluşturuldu. Hastaların ortalama ark indeksi 0,14, kontrol grubununki 0,12 bulundu. Aralarında istatistiksel olarak fark saptanmadı. AN tipleri ile ark indeksleri arasında belirgin fark ve korelasyon bulunamadı. Ark indeksi ile talo 1. metatarsal açı ve talohorizontal açılar arasında anlamlı korelasyon tespit edildi. AN tipleri ile açısal değerler arasında da fark saptanmadı. Bu sonuçlara göre, 1. metatarsal ve talo horizontal açıların ayağın medial arkı nı değerlendirmede anlamlı olduğu, AN tipleri ile ark indeksi arasında ilişki olmadığı ve AN'nın düz tabanlığa sebep olmadığı sonucuna varılmıştır. 39

In the method of rotary drilling used in investigations of natural gas, petrol, geothermal souces and natural CO2, one of the problems encountered during progress is the problem of gushing evacuation problem. In order to prevent this mostly encountered problem in such drillings, no: S-1 Yakatarla Nevsehir – Gulsehir Carbon dioxide investigation drilling is chosen as pilot drilling and the detection of possible gushing problem and necessary technique precaution options for the application of this problem serve as the aim of this study. The stop of gushing problem of no: S-1 drilling is to prevent slumpingcollapse in well, continue drilling by applying suitable isolation processes and to enable the completion of the well. In the no: S-1 drilling well built in discordant alluvium on upper Miocene-Pliocene aged Tuzkoy formation, considering the formation to be sheared and underground water level, bored with 0-36 m. 15 1/2” drill, 0 to 30 m.; the outer of pipe 10” and inner part of 1 m. pipe in base part cemented as 1. isolation 1,8 gr/cm3 , 3 m3 and 1.46 m3 displacement fluid is used. Then, 29 to 60m. is bored with 9 5/8” drill and 0 to 60m. the outer of 8” pipe approximately 0,5 m 3 , inner part of 5m. pipe in base part and the field discharged by gushing approximately 3,5 m3 is cemented as 2. isolation 1,9 gr/cm3 , 4 m3 and 1,51 m3 displacement fluid is used. Moreover, 60 to 74m. is bored with 7 5/8” drill against collapse and 0 to 74m. is made 3. isolation without being cemented because of squeezing with pipe. The first sand gushing in the well occurred between 50-60m. the problem is prevented by mass mud and 2. isolation process. Later on, advancing along 60-90m. with 7 5/8”drill gushing is experienced again but the free-weight of drilling mud between 60-90m. could not prevent gushing and gas burst. During gushing, fine grained yellow/green sand approximately 5 m3 , CO2 gas and haline water outlet are observed. In order for the well to advance safely considering the pressured applied by mud on the well and gushing pressure, new mud of barite 125 kg. + bentonite 250 kg. + cement 250 kg. + clay 3 m3 mixture is prepared. Gushing is decelerated by the new mixture, gushing in the well is completely stopped by reaming process in well, advancement is sustained by keeping this rate till the completion of well. First of all 66 to 74m. has swelled too much. Advancement is sustained in high swelling featured clay stone between 90-145m., sandstone between 145-158m., clay stone between 158-170m., clay stone banded sandstone between 170-180m. and the well is stopped in clay stone between 180-205m. The equip is in the shape of 0-36m. close, 36-40m. filtered pipe. 7 ½” sleeve is fixed between upper 4. and 5. pipes. As a result of the study, it is put forward that in order to prevent gushing in drillings planned in the area the mud density should be above 1,8-1,9 gr/cm3 , and in order to carry isolation process easily; the diameter of the well start should be as wide as 22” or 25”., Doğal gaz, petrol, jeotermal kaynaklar ve doğal CO2 aramalarında kullanılan dönerli sondaj yönteminde, ilerleme sırasında çıkan sorunlardan birisi de fışkırma dışarı atma sorunudur. Bu tür sondajlarda sıklıkla karşılaşılan bu sorunun önüne geçilebilmesi amacı ile S-1 Nolu Yakatarla Nevşehir - Gülşehir Karbondioksit arama sondajı pilot sondaj olarak seçilmiş ve ortaya çıkması muhtemel fışkırma probleminin belirlenmesi ve buna uygulanabilecek gerekli teknik tedbir seçeneklerinin belirlenmesi, çalışmamızın amacını oluşturmuştur. S-1 Nolu sondaja ait Fışkırma problemin durdurulmasının amacı, kuyuda yıkılma-göçmeyi önlemek, uygun tecrit işlemleri yaparak delme işlemine emniyetli bir şekilde devam etmek ve kuyunun tamamlanmasını sağlamaktır. Üst Miyosen-Pliyosen yaşlı Tuzköy formasyonu üzerinde uyumsuz olarak bulunan alüvyonda yapılan S-1 nolu sondaj kuyusunda, kesilecek formasyon ve yer altı su seviyesi dikkate alınarak; 0-36 m. 15 1/2” matkapla delinmiş, 0-30 m arası 10” borunun dışı ve taban kısımda 1 m borunun içi, 1.tecrit olarak çimentolanmış 1,8 gr/cm3 , 3 m3 ve 1.46 m3 deplasman sıvısı kullanılmıştır. Daha sonra, 29-60 m arası 9 5/8” matkapla delinmiş ve 0-60 m arası 8” borunun borunun dışı yaklaşık 0,5 m3 , taban kısımda 5 m borunun içi ile fışkırmayla boşalan alan yaklaşık 3,5 m3 2.tecrit olarak çimentolanmış 1,9 gr/cm3 , 4 m3 ve 1,51 m3 deplasman sıvısı kullanılmıştır. Ayrıca, yıkıntılara karşı 60-74 m arası 7 5/8” matkapla delinmiş ve 0-74 m arası 6” boruyla sıkışma nedeniyle çimentolama yapılmadan 3. tecrit olarak yapılmıştır. Kuyuda ilk kum fışkırma problemi 50-60 m arasında olmuştur. Problem, yoğun çamur ve 2. tecrit işlemi ile engellenmiştir. Daha sonra, 60-90 m aralığında 7 5/8” matkapla ilerlenirken tekrar fışkırma ile karşılaşılmış ancak 72- 90 m arasında sondaj çamurunun özgür ağırlığı, fışkırma ve gaz patlamasına engel olamamıştır. Fışkırma esnasında, yaklaşık 5 m3 ince taneli sarı/yeşil renkli kum, CO2 gazı ve tuzlu su çıkışı gözlenmiştir. Kuyunun emniyetli bir şekilde ilerleyebilmesi için çamurun kuyuya uyguladığı basınç ile fışkırma basıncı dikkate alınarak ilk olarak barit 125 kg + bentonit 250 kg + çimento 250 kg + kil 3 m3 karışımıyla yeni çamur hazırlanmıştır. Hazırlanan yeni çamurla fışkırma yavaşlatılmış, kuyuda rayba işlemi yapılarak kuyuda fışkırma tamamen durdurulmuş, bu oran kuyunun tamamlanmasına kadar korunarak ilerleme işlemine devam edilmiştir. İlk olarak 66-74 m arası çok fazla şişmiştir. 90-145 m arası şişme özelliği yüksek kiltaşı, 145-158 m arası kumtaşı, 158-170 m kiltaşı, 170-180 m kiltaşı bantlı kumtaşlarında ilerleme sürdürülmüş ve kuyu 180-205 m kiltaşlarında durdurulmuştur. Teçhiz 0-36 m kapalı, 36- 104 m filitreli boru şeklindedir. Üstten 4. ve 5. borular arasına 7 ½” manşon takılmıştır. Yapılan çalışmalar sonucunda bölgede yapılması planlanan sondajlarda fışkırma işlemin olmaması için çamur yoğunluğunun 1,8-1,9 gr/cm3 ’den yüksek olmasına, uygun tecrit işlemlerinin kolaylıkla yapılabilmesi için kuyu başlangıç çapının 22” ve/veya 25” gibi geniş tutulmasının gerekliliği ortaya konmuştur.
