- Abstract
The title, abstract and keywords of a scientific writing are sections that are expected to enable the readers to have a rapid and realistic idea of what the writing is all about. Consistency in the mentioned sections, will provide the right representation of the focus, scope and intellectual structure of the publications that these writings take place. Through this study it is aimed to reveal the thematic patterns of the peer-reviewed articles published in the Turkish Librarianship journal. With this reason in mind, the thematic structure of the journal content and the changes throughout the process were analysed in the light of word association and network analysis methods, and by using the keywords of every article identified by their own authors. Results of the analysis carried out on a total of 209 peer-reviewed articles at a time range between 2000 to 2016 (including two issues published in 2016) showed a thematic diversity, a low density of the keyword network (0.008) and periodical changes in the word community.
