1. DEVELOPING MEASURES TO IMPROVE STRENGTH INDICES OF SUPPORTING STRUCTURES FOR HEAD CARS OF DIESEL TRAINS DR1A ON THE BASIS OF EXPERIMENTAL-AND-THEORETICAL WORKS

Abstract

Purpose. The objective is to determine the stress-strain state of supporting structures of the head car body and the traction transmission unit, which can be created in the operation of emergency situations, and to develop the measures aimed at improving the stress-strain state of these elements. Methodology. In order to achieve this objective, in performing the work an experimental determination of efforts and stress levels in the most loaded elements of supporting structures as well as the traction transmission units was conducted; design models for the theoretical determination of stress and effort levels were developed. Findings. Based on the analysis of the calculation results the best options for the upgrades, which have been put into the basis of proposals aimed at improving the strength indices, were revealed. Originality. Based on the experimental and theoretical studies, scientific monitoring of development works on modernization and improvement of strength indices of supporting structures of head cars of diesel trains DR1A was performed. Practical value. The technical solution to the measures, which are to be carried out beyond the limits of assigned operation lifetime for diesel train of the series specified was developed and transferred to the Ukrzaliznytsia experts to introduce the proposed measures on improving the strength indices.

2. THEORETICAL AND EXPERIMENTAL EVALUATION OF STRENGTH INDICES OF BOGIE FRAME TRANSOMS FOR TRAILING CARS OF ELECTRIC TRAINS ER9M, ER9E

Abstract

Purpose. The article objectives are to identify the factors, which can contribute to the formation of cracks and to develop the measures on improving the strength indices of bogie frame transoms of trailing cars. Methodology. In order to achieve these objectives, in performing the work it was conducted the inspection of the technical condition of supporting structures for bogie frames of trailing cars; measured the Brіnell hardness numbers and estimated the endurance limits of transom material; tested on determination of the levels of efforts and stresses being created in the specified transoms under operation; developed the computational models for the theoretical determination of stress levels in the transom by simulating both normal and abnormal conditions of operating loading. Findings. Based on the analysis of results obtained: the situations with the highest stress levels were found; the measures on improving the strength indices of bogie frame transoms of trailing cars were developed. Originality. Based on the experimental and theoretical studies, the scientific monitoring of works to develop the measures on improving the strength indices of bogie frame transoms of trailing cars was carried out. Practical value. The developed measures on improving the strength indices were passed to professionals of Ukrzaliznytsia to introduce the proposed activities during the repairs of electric trains of specified series.

Abstract

Purpose. To check meeting the requirements of Standards for experimental specimens of traction gear boxes for electric trains of series ER2, ER9 with housings of welded construction by Kiev Electric Wagon Repair Works (KEVRZ). Methodology. To reach the objective in hand, performing the work, some computational models for theoretical determination of the stress levels in the reduction-gear housing of welded construction by simulating the loading conditions that can take place during the operation have been developed and the stresses at different points of the reduction-gear housing as well as the levels of vertical accelerations of the reduction-gear housing and loading of the unit of connecting the housing to the bodies frame have been experimentally evaluated. Findings. On the basis of analysis of the calculation results obtained meeting the requirements of Standards for traction reduction gears with the housings of welded construction by KEVRZ has been found. Originality. Based on the experimental and theoretical investigations, the scientific support of works on developing and putting into operation the renovated traction reduction gears for electric trains of series ER2, ER9 has been completed. Practical value. A technical solution with the measures to be fulfilled in operation of electric trains of the mentioned series with traction reduction-gear housings of welded construction by KEVRZ has been developed and given to experts of Ukrzaliznytsia to introduce the proposed measures during repairs.

Метою роботи є визначення напружено-деформованого стану несучих конструкцій кузова головного вагона та вузла передачі тягового зусилля, яке може створюватись у нештатних ситуаціях під час експлуатації. Необхідною є також розробка заходів, спрямованих на покращення напружено-деформованого стану вказаних елементів. Методика. Для досягнення поставленої мети при виконанні роботи було проведено експериментальне визначення зусиль і рівнів напружень у найбільш навантажених елементах несучих конструкцій, а також у вузлах передачі тяги. Розроблено розрахункові моделі для проведення теоретичного визначення рівнів напружень і зусиль. Результати. На підставі аналізу отриманих результатів розрахунків виявлено найкращі варіанти модернізації, які були закладені в основу пропозицій, спрямованих на покращення показників міцності. Наукова новизна. На підставі експериментальних та теоретичних досліджень виконано наукове супроводження робіт із розробки заходів модернізації з покращення показників міцності несучих конструкцій головних вагонів дизель-поїздів ДР1А. Практична значимість. Розроблено технічне рішення, що містить заходи, які мають виконуватись під час експлуатації дизель-поїздів указаної серії. Технічне рішення надано спеціалістам Укрзалізниці для ознайомлення та впровадження запропонованих заходів із покращення показників міцності., Цель. Целью работы является определение напряженно-деформированного состояния несущих конструкций кузова головного вагона и узла передачи тягового усилия, которые могут создаваться в нештатных ситуациях во время эксплуатации. Необходимой является также разработка мероприятий, направленных на улучшение напряженно-деформированного состояния указанных элементов. Методика. Для достижения поставленной цели при выполнении работы было проведено экспериментальное определение усилий и уровней напряжений в наиболее нагруженных элементах несущих конструкций, а также в узлах передачи тяги. Разработаны расчетные модели для проведения теоретического определения уровней напряжений и усилий. Результаты. На основании анализа полученных результатов расчетов выявлены наилучшие варианты модернизации, которые были заложены в основу предложений, направленных на улучшение показателей прочности. Научная новизна. На основании экспериментальных и теоретических исследований выполнено научное сопровождение работ по разработке мероприятий модернизации и улучшению показателей прочности несущих конструкций головных вагонов дизелей-поездов ДР1А. Практическая значимость. Разработано техническое решение с мероприятиями, которые должны выполняться во время эксплуатации дизель-поездов указанной серии. Техническое решение предоставлено специалистам Укрзализныци для ознакомления и внедрения предложенных мероприятий по улучшению показателей прочности.

Целью работы является определение факторов, которые могут способствовать возникновению трещин в средних поперечных балках рам тележек прицепных вагонов, и разработка мероприятий по улучшению показателей прочности этих рам. Методика. Для достижения поставленной цели были проведены следующие работы: обследование технического состояния несущих конструкций рам тележек прицепных вагонов; измерение величины твердости материала по Бринеллю; выполнение оценки предела выносливости материала средней поперечной балки; испытания по определению уровней усилий и напряжений, которые создаются в указанных балках в условиях эксплуатации; разработки расчетных моделей для теоретического определения напряжений в средней поперечной балке; моделирование как обычных, так и нештатных условий эксплуатационной нагруженности. Результаты. На основании анализа полученных результатов выявлены ситуации, при которых создаются наибольшие уровни напряжений; разработаны мероприятия по улучшению показателей прочности средних поперечных балок рам тележек прицепных вагонов. Научная новизна. На основании экспериментальных и теоретических исследований выполнено научное сопровождение работ по разработке мероприятий улучшения показателей прочности средних поперечных балок рам тележек прицепных вагонов. Практическая значимость. Разработанные мероприятия по улучшению показателей прочности переданы специалистам Укрзализныци для их внедрения во время выполнения ремонтов электропоездов указанных серий., Мета. Метою роботи є визначення чинників, які можуть сприяти появі тріщин у середніх поперечних балках рам візків причіпних вагонів, та розробка заходів із покращення показників міцності цих рам. Методика. Для досягнення поставленої мети були проведені наступні роботи: обстеження технічного стану несучих конструкцій рам візків причіпних вагонів; вимірювання твердості матеріалу за Брінеллем; визначення оцінки границь витривалості матеріалу середньої поперечної балки; проведення експериментальних випробувань із визначення рівнів зусиль та напружень, які створюються у вказаних балках в умовах експлуатації; розробка розрахункових моделей для теоретичного визначення рівнів напружень у середній поперечній балці; моделювання як звичайних, так і нештатних умов експлуатаційної навантаженості. Результати. На підставі аналізу отриманих результатів виявлено ситуації, при яких створюються найбільші рівні напружень; розроблено заходи з покращення показників міцності середніх поперечних балок рам візків причіпних вагонів. Наукова новизна. На підставі експериментальних та теоретичних досліджень виконано наукове супроводження робіт щодо розробки заходів із покращення показників міцності середніх поперечних балок рам візків причіпних вагонів. Практична значимість. Розроблені заходи з покращення показників міцності передані спеціалістам Укрзалізниці для їх впровадження під час виконання ремонтів електропоїздів указаних серій.
