Abstract: The application of ceramics as bone substitutes is mainly due to their bioactivity property, presenting an ability to adhere to adjacent bone tissues. In the last decades the number of researches with bioactive ceramics in bone grafts has grown. The objective of the present study was to perform a literature review of the application of calcium phosphate ceramics in the biomedical fields. For this present study, 21 articles indexed indatabases, mainly through in PubMed and LILACS were selected and published between the years 2004 to 2019. Calcium phosphates are examples of bioceramics and are part of a group of combinations that constitute the natural structure of bones humans and teeth. The main reasons for calcium phosphate biomaterials standing out for bone replacement are their facility of use and biocompatibility. Current research indicates that the association of hydroxyapatite (HA) with tricalcium phosphate β (TCP-β) promotes better results regarding bone neoformation, showing promising results in the biomedical and biomaterials area, in the replacement of bone tissues. Synthetic bioactive ceramics have several applications and efficacy in the biomedical fields. HA and TCP-β have several properties scientifically demonstrated, the association of both being the result of the search for new materials and their improvement. Abstract: Deep-inelastic scattering data in the range 150 < Q^2 < 35000 GeV^2 are used to investigate the minimum jet separation necessary to allow accurate description of the rate of dijet production using next-to-leading order perturbative QCD calculations. The required jet separation is found to be small, allowing about 1/3 of DIS data to be classified as dijet, as opposed to approximately 1/10 with more typical jet analyses. A number of precision measurements made using this dijet sample are well described by the calculations. The data are also described by the combination of leading order matrix elements and parton showers, as implemented in the QCD based Monte Carlo model RAPGAP., 18 pages, 4 figures, 4 tables

Abstract: Deep-inelastic positron-proton interactions at low values of Bjorken-x down to x \approx 4.10^-5 which give rise to high transverse momentum pi^0 mesons are studied with the H1 experiment at HERA. The inclusive cross section for pi^0 mesons produced at small angles with respect to the proton remnant (the forward region) is presented as a function of the transverse momentum and energy of the pi^0 and of the four-momentum transfer Q^2 and Bjorken-x. Measurements are also presented of the transverse energy flow in events containing a forward pi^0 meson. Hadronic final state calculations based on QCD models implementing different parton evolution schemes are confronted with the data.

Abstract: Cross sections for the production of two isolated muons up to high di-muon masses are measured in ep collisions at HERA with the H1 detector in a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 71 pb-1 at a centre of mass energy of √s=319 GeV. The results are in good agreement with Standard Model predictions, the dominant process being photon-photon interactions. Additional muons or electrons are searched for in events with two high transverse momentum muons using the full data sample corresponding to 114 pb-1, where data at √s=301 GeV and √s=319 GeV are combined. Abstract: Deep-inelastic e^\pm p scattering at high squared momentum transfer Q^2 up to 30000 GeV^2 is used to search for eq contact interactions associated to scales far beyond the HERA centre of mass energy. The neutral current cross section measurements d sigma / d Q^2, corresponding to integrated luminosities of 16.4 pb^-1 of e^- p data and 100.8 pb^-1 of e^+ p data, are well described by the Standard Model and are analysed to set constraints on new phenomena. For conventional contact interactions lower limits are set on compositeness scales Lambda ranging between 1.6 - 5.5 TeV. Couplings and masses of leptoquarks and squarks in R-parity violating supersymmetry are constrained to M / lambda > 0.3 - 1.4 TeV. A search for low scale quantum gravity effects in models with large extra dimensions provides limits on the effective Planck scale of M_S > 0.8 TeV. A form factor analysis yields a bound on the radius of light quarks of R_q < 1.0 x 10^-18 m., 15 pages, 5 figures and 5 tables

8. L'Asie centrale post-soviétique : entre le colonialisme et la modernité

Abstract: Post-soviet Central Asia : between colonialism and modernity. This article is set within the context of the old, very narrow "soviet" view of Central Asia (Srednjaja Azija). The Russian conquest of the area, completed in 1885, marked a double turning-point in the destiny of Central Asia. Geographically speaking, it no longer belonged to the Turko-Persian Islamic world, whose Northern border it had formed for centuries, before becoming the Southern border of the Russian empire. At the end of the XlXth century, the expansion of Russia was taking place at a much more rapid rate than that of the flagging Turkish and Iranian societies which predominated in the south of the country. In addition, their entry into a new sphere of influence also meant for Central Asia a historical turning-point, their engagement with the processes of modernization which, even though they developed with difficulty, were taking root in Russia. 1985 was the centenary of the conquest of Central Asia, and it was also marked by the introduction of "perestroika", which heralded definitive changes. What should be to-day's assessment of a century's Russian influence in Central Asia ? What is its legacy, at a point where the region is entering upon a new phase in its history ? How are the five new states, born here from the collapse of the Soviet Union, likely to evolve within a context of uncompleted modernization and renascent traditionalism ?, Cet article reste dans le cadre de l'ancienne conception "soviétique" très étroite de l'Asie centrale (Srednjaja Azija). La conquête russe du territoire, achevée en 1885, a marqué un double tournant dans la destinée de l'Asie centrale. Sur le plan géographique, elle n'appartenait désormais plus au monde islamique turco-perse dont elle avait constitué la périphérie nord pendant des siècles avant de devenir la périphérie sud de l'Empire russe. A la fin du XIXe siècle, le développement de la Russie s'effectuait à un rythme beaucoup plus rapide que celui des sociétés turque et iranienne, en perte de vitesse, qui prédominaient au sud du pays. 9. L'émigration de l'ex-Union soviétique : prémices et inconnues

Abstract: Soviet emigration: premises and unknown factors Anatoli Vichnevski and Jeanne Zayontchkovskaia One can distinguish three main waves of Soviet emigration between 1917 and 1990 : the first two correspond to the consequences of the 1917 revolution and the two world wars. A third, labelled « ethnic », concerns the last decades. It consists of representatives of minority nationalities dissatisfied with their status who are seeking either their original homeland or integration into a strong Diaspora abroad. Since 1988, the situation has modified. A recent freedom of movement has vastly increased the tide of emigration, mainly directed to Israel and Germany. For the most part, the emigrants come from large towns in Russia, the Ukraine and Kazakhstan. The coming into effect in January 1993 of the voted laws on freedom of movement will accelerate this process. It will be the «fourth emigration», the essential subject of this article. This new « post-colonial » emigration has several aspects to it. The authors refer back in history to the territorial expansion of Russiea and to the « internal » colonisation of the XIXth and XXth centuries. Most of this emigration took place around the sixties, into the expanding towns in Byelorussia, Moldavia, Central Asia, Kazakhstan but also Latvia and Estonia (+ 25 million of which 70 % to the Ukraine and Kazakhstan). A reversal of this trend is now being witnessed with the return of Russians to their republic and a parallel influx of other nationalities to Russia. European emigration abroad would affect the « modernised » populations who are far more open to the Western way of life, mainly inhabiting as they do the European parts ofthe USSR, Siberia and the Far East. Its evolution will depend on the internal turn of events in each country. The emigration of « Asiatic » populations will essentially be due to the increase in native labour caused by competition in the work market. The departure of « foreign elements » has far from settled the problems of over-population in Central Asia which have caused a rise in unemployment and a reinforcement of tension and nationalism. The situation is getting worse even in Russia and looks set to stay until the opening up of various internal migrations. And so a departure abroad becomes the ultimate cure for the ever-worsening conditions of life. With the present state of affairs and without any further details at hand, anything can be envisaged., L'émigration de l'ex-Union soviétique : prémices et inconnues Anatoli Vichnevski et Jeanne Zayontchkovskaia On peut distinguer dans l'émigration soviétique, entre 1917 et 1990, trois principales vagues : les deux premières correspondent aux conséquences de la révolution de 1917 et des deux guerres mondiales ; une troisième qualifiée « d'ethnique » concerne les dernières décennies. Elle est constituée par les représentants de minorités nationales insatisfaites de leur statut qui recherchent, soit leur patrie d'origine, soit l'intégration à une puissante diaspora à l'étranger. Depuis 1988, la situation s'est modifiée : un début de libéralisation des déplacements a augmenté très fortement le flux de l'émigration qui se dirige principalement vers Israël et l'Allemagne. Ces émigrés viennent essentiellement des grandes villes de Russie, d'Ukraine et du Kazakhstan. L'entrée en vigueur en janvier 1993, de la loi votée sur la liberté de déplacement va accélérer ce processus. Ce sera la « quatrième émigration », thème essentiel de cet article. Cette nouvelle émigration, a plusieurs aspects. Les auteurs font un rappel historique de l'expansion territoriale russe, de la colonisation « interne » au XIXe et XXe siècles. Le maximum de cette émigration vers les villes en expansion de Biélorussie, Moldavie, Asie Centrale, Kazakhstan mais aussi Lettonie, Estonie, se situe vers les années 60. Le départ des « éléments étrangers » est loin d'avoir réglé les problèmes de surpopulation en Asie Centrale générateurs de la montée du chômage et du renforcement des tensions et du nationalisme. La situation se dégrade même en Russie restée jusque là ouverte aux diverses migrations internes. Le départ à l'étranger devient alors l'ultime remède pour améliorer des conditions de vie de plus en plus mauvaises. Actualmente se asiste a una inversión de esta tendencia, es decir, al retorno de los rusos república, y de forma paralela a la afluencia de otras naconalidades hacia Rusia. La emigración europea hacia el extranjero afecta a las poblaciones ya « modernizadas », mucho más abiertas a la forma de vivir occidental, viviendo sobretodo en la parte más europea de la URSS, Siberia y Extremo Oriente. La evolución dependerá del cariz de los acontecimientos interiores del país. La emigración de las poblaciones « asiáticas » será debida al aumento de la mano de obra autóctona provocada por la competencia en el mercado de trabajo. La partida de « los elementos extranjeros » no ha solucionado los problemas de excedente de población en Asia Central, generadores ellos del aumento del paro y del fortalecimiento de las tensiones y del nacionalismo. La situación se degrada incluso en Rusia, la cual, hasta ahora, ha permanecido abierta a distintas migraciones internas. La partida al extranjero se convierte en el último remedio para mejorar unas condiciones de vida cada vez peores. Otra característica de este nuevo flujo de emigración es la partida de la mano de obra especializada, (« La huída de los cerebros »), sobretodo la que proviene de las repúblicas europeas, (el 85 % de los emigrantes potenciales vive en ciudades), pero resulta difícil evaluar su importancia, la cual dependerá también de los acuerdos que puedan concluirse con los gobiernos occidentales. Cada uno de los tipos de emigración que aquí se presentan, son posibles en URSS. Del éxodo masivo al bloqueo de las fronteras como consecuencia de una crisis política violenta. Las estimaciones que se hacen a partir de ello se refieren unicamente a una emigración de tipo económico. Las dificultades técnicas y psicológicas pueden frenar la corriente migratoria. Abstract: A search for contributions to the reaction ep → eπ0N* from photon-odderon fusion in the photoproduction regime at HERA is reported, at an average photon-proton centre-of-mass energy (W) = 215 GeV. The measurement proceeds via detection of the π0 decay photons, a leading neutron from the N* decay, and the scattered electron. Abstract: Results on diffractive photoproduction of psi(2S) mesons are presented using data collected between 1996 and 2000 with the H1 detector at the HERA ep collider. The data correspond to an integrated luminosity of 77 pb(-1). The energy dependence of the diffractive psi(2S) cross section is found to be similar to or possibly somewhat steeper than that for J/psi mesons. The dependences of the elastic and proton dissociative psi(2S) photoproduction cross sections on the squared momentum transfer t at the proton vertex are measured. The t-dependence of the elastic channel, parametrised as e(bt), yields b(el)(psi(2S)) = (4.31 +/- 0.57 +/- 0.46) GeV-2, compatible with that of the J/psi. For the proton dissociative channel the result b(pd)(psi(2S)) = (0.59 +/- 0.13 +/- 0.12) GeV-2 is 2.3 standard deviations smaller than that measured for the J/psi. With proper account of the individual wavefunctions theoretical predictions based on perturbative QCD are found to describe the measurements well. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.

Abstract: A search for squarks in R-parity violating supersymmetry is performed in e^+p collisions at HERA at a centre of mass energy of 300 GeV, using H1 data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 37 pb^(-1). The direct production of single squarks of any generation in positron-quark fusion via a Yukawa coupling lambda' is considered, taking into account R-parity violating and conserving decays of the squarks. No significant deviation from the Standard Model expectation is found. The results are interpreted in terms of constraints within the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM), the constrained MSSM and the minimal Supergravity model, and their sensitivity to the model parameters is studied in detail. For a Yukawa coupling of electromagnetic strength, squark masses below 260 GeV are excluded at 95% confidence level in a large part of the parameter space. For a 100 times smaller coupling strength masses up to 182 GeV are excluded., Comment: 32 pages, 14 figures, 3 tables

Abstract: A measurement is presented of the cross section for D* meson production in diffractive deep-inelastic scattering for the first time at HERA. The cross section is given for the process ep -> eXY, where the system X contains at least one D* meson and is separated by a large rapidity gap from a low mass proton remnant system Y. The cross section is presented in the diffractive deep-inelastic region defined by 2< Q^2 < 100 GeV^2, 0.05 < y < 0.7, x_pom < 0.04, M_Y < 1.6 GeV and |t| < 1 GeV^2. The D* mesons are restricted to the range ptD* > 2 GeV and |��_D* | < 1.5. The cross section is found to be 246+-54+-56 pb and forms about 6% of the corresponding inclusive D* cross section. The cross section is presented as a function of various kinematic variables, including z_pom^obs which is an estimate of the fraction of the momentum of the diffractive exchange carried by the parton entering the hard-subprocess. The data show a large component of the cross section at low z_pom^obs where the contribution of the Boson-Gluon-Fusion process is expected to dominate.
