Almost all Bengalis who own smartphones also have social media accounts. People from different regions occasionally employ regional Slang that is unfamiliar to outsiders and confuses the meaning of the sentence. Nearly all languages can now be translated thanks to modern technology, but only in very basic ways, which is a concern. Bengali Slang terms are difficult to translate due to a dearth of rich corpora and frequently occurring new Slang terms developed by people, making it impossible for speakers of other languages to understand the context of a sentence in which Slang is used. We developed a solution to this issue. To create models that can detect Bengali Slang terms from social media, we gather various Slang phrases from various regions and develop a modest corpus. Our suggested method nearly always succeeds in extracting Bengali Slang terms from fresh material. We create a total of 7 supervised models and assess which is the most effective for our study. One of them has a 70% accuracy and 86% recall rate for successful identification. Our models may be linked to the social media platform's backend to restrict the use of Bengali Slang in posts, blogs, comments, and other areas.

Competency learning outcomes about electrical protection systems are not optimal, due to several weaknesses in the learning process. This study aims to analyze the effect of multimedia-assisted learning on the concept mastery in protection systems. Subsequently, a quasi-experiment was carried out by integrating the mastery of concepts in the case-method and team-based project learning. The results of the study prove that multimedia-assisted learning is effective in increasing the mastery of concepts. The learning outcomes did not differ between the case method and the team-based project.

Desa bandaran merupakan desa di pesisir selatan pulau madura yang mata pencaharian penduduknya hampir 75% sebagai nelayan. Nelayan pengguna alat tangkap pukat cincin sebanyak 150 lebih dengan jumlah pekerja sebanyak 35 orang per kapal. Dengan jumlah awak kapal tersebut maka ada pembagian kerja dan pengelolaan manajeman keuangan dari hasi tangkap ikan yang diperoleh tiap kapal. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif yang mana data menggambarkan fenomena dan analisis yang terjadi selama penelitan ini dilapangan. dan sampelnya adalah masyarakat yang bekerja sebagai nelayan di desa bandaran. Tehnik yang digunakan dengan wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, penyajian data, verifikasi. Manajeman pembagian kerja yang di kelola oleh nahkoda kapal sudah bagus dimana didalam mengelola kapal nahkoda sudah dapat merencanakan, mengorganisasikan, menempatkan, mengarahkan dan mengawasi para anak buahnya untuk tetap bekerja sesuai dengan prosedur dan tupoksinya masing-masing. Manajeman pengelolaan keuangan yang diaplikasikan kurang memenuhi standar pengelolaan keuangan yang benar, akan tetapi dengan pengaplikasian yang sudah berjalan sudah cukup bagus untuk sekelas perahu nelayan yang notabene pendidikannya hanya cukup di sekolah dasar saja.

The current study was designed to investigate the effect of exercise on the level of the cortisol hormone and some physiological variables in male athletes. The cortisol, vitamin C, glutathione (GSH), and malondialdehyde (MDA) levels in the serum of twenty young male basketball players were measured before and after the exercise. The cortisol values and GSH levels showed a statistically significant decrease after physical effort compared to the result before training, in contrast to vitamin C and MDA levels represent a statistically significant increase. Decreasing cortisol levels after activity showed decreasing stress because exercise for years will reduce the stimulating effect of cortisol secretion. In addition, in response to increased oxidative stress caused by exercise, serum vitamin C increased to prevent oxidative stress. As a result, training in these athletes led to producing reactive oxygen species and thus increased lipid peroxidation, which increased MDA levels by exhausting the antioxidant defense system and reducing GSH levels. Measurement of these biomarkers allows the identification of players affected by severe oxidative stress and indicates the time of intervention for improving their performance and health. The boundary layer flow over a stretching/shrinking cylinder in hybrid nanofluid with the effects of suction, partial slip and convective boundary condition is studied. Hybrid nanoparticles Al2O3 and TiO2 with water as based fluid are considered in the study. The partial differential equations are transformed to ordinary differential equations by employing the similarity variables. The numerical results are obtained using the bvp4c solver in MATLAB software. The influence of nanoparticles volume fraction (Al2O3-TiO2 in water-based fluid), curvature parameter, suction parameter, partial slip parameter and Biot number on the velocity profile, temperature profile, skin friction coefficient and heat transfer rate are discussed. The numerical results indicate that for shrinking surface case, the dual solutions exist for a certain range of curvature parameter and suction parameter.

Here, five bonds to carbon through tri-coordination are theoretically established in the global minimum energy isomers of Al3C3− anion (1a) and Al3C3 neutral (1n) for the first time. Various isomers of Al3C3−/0 are theoretically identified using density functional theory at the PBE0-D3/def2-TZVP level. Chemical bonding features are thoroughly analyzed for these two isomers (1a and 1n) with different bonding and topological quantum chemical tools, such as adaptive natural density partitioning (AdNDP), Wiberg Bond Indices (WBIs), nucleus-independent chemical shifts (NICS), and atoms in molecules (AIM) analyses. The structure of isomer 1a is planar with C2v symmetry, whereas its neutral counterpart 1n is non-planar with C2 symmetry, in which its terminal aluminum atoms are out of the plane. The central allenic carbon atom of isomers 1a and 1n exhibits tri-coordination and thus makes it a case of five bonds to carbon, which is confirmed through their total bond order as observed in WBI. Both the isomers show σ- and π-aromaticity and are predicted with the NICS and AdNDP analyses. Further, the results of ab initio molecular dynamics simulations reveal their kinetic stability at room temperature; thus, they are experimentally viable systems.

This study highlights the development of two lateral flow recombinase polymerase amplification assays for the diagnosis of human malaria. The lateral flow cassettes contained test lines that captured biotin-, 6-carboxyfluorescein, digoxigenin-, cyanine 5-, and dinitrophenyl-labeled amplicons. The overall process can be completed in 30 minutes. Recombinase polymerase amplification coupled with lateral flow had a detection limit of 1 copy/µL for Plasmodium knowlesi, Plasmodium vivax, and Plasmodium falciparum. No cross-reactivity was observed among nonhuman malaria parasites such as Plasmodium coatneyi, Plasmodium cynomolgi, Plasmodium brasilanium, Plasmodium inui, Plasmodium fragile, Toxoplasma gondii, Sarcocystis spp., Brugia spp., and 20 healthy donors. It is rapid, highly sensitive, robust, and easy to use. The result can be read without the need for special equipment and thus has the potential to serve as an effective alternative to polymerase chain reaction methods for the diagnosis of malaria.

This research deals with the study of one of the Iraqi families in the Abbasid era, where the Tanukhia family belongs to Abu Alaa Hassan bin Sinan Al-Tanukhi Al-Anbari132-393) H/750-1003AD)and was on Christianity, then Islam. His family had an important civilized role, and the first appearance of the grandfather of the Al-Tanukhi family dates back to the time of the pilgrims Bin Yusuf Al-Taqfi, i.e. in the Umayyad era, while the rest of his family had a clear role during the first and second Abbasid times. Members of that family contributed to all areas of life in the Abbasid state, and had a distinctive cultural role in the Abbasid era in scientific, administrative and social aspects, which affected the civilized development in Iraq during the Abbasid era.

Purpose: Intestinal fibrosis is a common complication of inflammatory bowel diseases. However, the possible involvement of epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) has been scarcely investigated. This systematic review aims to search through research papers that are focusing on messenger RNA (mRNA) and protein expression profile in EMT in fistula or in intestinal fibrosis.Methods: Electronic exploration was performed until April 24, 2019 through PubMed, Ovid, Science Direct, and Scopus databases with the terms of “fistula” OR “intestinal fibrosis” AND “epithelial-mesenchymal transition”. Two independent reviewers scrutinized the suitability of the title and abstract before examining the full text that met the inclusion criteria. For each study, the sample types that were used, methods for analysis, and genes expressed were identified. The list of genes was further analyzed using DAVID (Database for Annotation, Visualization, and Integrated Discovery) and KEGG (Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes) pathway.Results: There were 896 citations found; however, only 3 studies fulfilled the requirements. Among the EMT-related genes, 5 were upregulated genes at mRNA level while 6 were at protein level. However, only 2 downregulated genes were found at each mRNA and protein level. Of the 4 inflammation-related genes found, 3 genes were upregulated at mRNA level and 1 at protein level. These genes were confirmed to be involved in the development of inflammatory induced fibrosis and fistula through EMT. Results from quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction analysis were consistent with the process of EMT, confirmed by the western blot protein analysis.Conclusion: Many significant genes which are involved in the process of EMT in fistula and intestinal fibrosis have been identified. With high-end technology many more genes could be identified. These genes will be good molecular targets in the development of biomarkers for precision drug targeting in the future treatment of intestinal fibrosis and fistula.

Pediatric patients with unstable radius-ulna fracture can be treated with intramedullary Kirschner wire fixation. Objective: To determine the functional outcome of Intramedullary Kirschner Wire fixation in unstable radius-ulna fractures in children. Methods: All pediatric age patients were enrolled into the study with unstable radius and ulna fracture. Informed consent was taken before study. Proper history, examination and X-rays of the forearm was taken after taking consent from the guardian of the patient. Under general anesthesia and tourniquet, control radius was first fixed through a small volar incision by drilling a k wire at fracture site in radius so that the wire exits on the dorsolateral side of the radius. The fracture was than reduced and the wire tapped with hammer to the radial head. Similarly, ulna was fixed by first drilling the wire up to the olecranon process and after reduction of the fracture down to the styloid process. After checking stability both bones, both wounds were washed with normal saline and closed in reverse order and above elbow cast was applied for three to four weeks. Results: In this study, as per functional outcomes, 5(4.0%) patients had good outcome, 80(64%) patients had excellent outcomes whereas 40(32%) patients had poor outcomes. Conclusions: This study demonstrates excellent functional outcome of Intramedullary Kirschner Wire fixation in unstable both bone forearm fractures in children.

Research on the development of learning media for Android-Based Interactive E- modules on colloidal material aims to produce valid, practical and effective learning media. The floating model used is a 4D development model. The trial of the learning media developed was carried out on students of SMAN 1 Kotabaru for the 2020/2021 academic year. The trials carried out were individual trials, small group trials and limited trials. Data collection techniques used validation sheets, readability questionnaires, response questionnaires and test assessments. Data analysis used descriptive analysis. The results showed that the developed media had met the following criteria: (1) Valid, based on a feasibility test by a group of experts with an average of 91.66% (very valid); (2) Practical, based on individual, group readability tests, as well as student and teacher response questionnaires with successive scores of 3.30 (very good); 3.40 (very good); 3.34 (very good) and 3.70 (very good); (3) Effective, based on the results of a limited trial, it can be seen from the average n-gain score of 0.73 (high). Overall, the e-module developed is able to improve students' conceptual understanding skills and as a form of renewal in chemistry learning

Shelters are the most common form of assistance available to trafficked persons in Malaysia and other countries. They may offer a safe and protected environment in which they can begin their recovery and access services such as legal, medical, or psychosocial aid. However, the rules imposed in the shelters and the overall victim protection mechanisms in Malaysia have been heavily criticised for violating human rights principles. This is because ‘rescued’ victims are forcibly detained in shelters until they are repatriated, which may take months or even a year. This article considers the conditions of victims’ detention from a socio-legal perspective. Drawing upon interviews with 29 trafficked women and 12 professionals from a shelter in Kuala Lumpur, it explores the women’s living conditions and access to legal support and mental and physical healthcare within the facility. The article concludes that routine detention of trafficked persons in shelters violates fundamental principles of international law and is therefore to be considered unlawful.

Targeting the activation of immune checkpoints is recognized as an effective strategy for triggering anti-tumour immune responses in cancer cells. Cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein 4 (CTLA-4) and programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) were identified as potential crucial targets for cancer treatment. Overexpression of CTLA-4 and PD-1 proteins in primary tumour and human cell lines is well documented. In contrary, lack of data was available using animal cell lines. The presence study aims to optimize the expression of CTLA-4 and PD-1 proteins in EMT6 mouse mammary cancer cells using Western blot, and provide basic understanding of their association with breast cancer cell progression. Proteins extracted from EMT6 parental cells were adjusted to 30ng for gel electrophoresis. Afterwards, the protein was transferred to a nitrocellulose membrane for blotting. The membrane was then subjected to chemiluminescent for band detection. Results obtained using beta-actin as a housekeeping gene show that both CTLA-4 (32 kDa) and PD-1 (34 kDa) proteins were expressed by using a 1:1000 dilution for each antibody from the lysate of EMT6 mouse mammary cancer cells. The relative expression of PD-1 (4.0 ± 0.26) is higher compared to CTLA-4 (1.2 ± 1.8). As a conclusion, both CTLA-4 and PD-1 proteins were indeed expressed in EMT6 mouse mammary cancer cells and this outcome provide the platform for extensive in vivo research on the link of both proteins with breast cancer using animal model.

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the level of efficiency of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia. The research employs a panel data analysis and a non-parametric Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) to measure the level of efficiency. The panel data analysis showed that company size, profitability, liquidity, and management significantly affect the level of efficiency of Islamic banks in Indonesia, while capital and financing risk have no significant impact. The efficiency of Islamic banks in Indonesia should be maintained by balancing the distribution of assets, ensuring portfolio diversification, maintaining sufficient liquidity, and paying attention to management quality. The originality of this study, to the best of the author's knowledge, is that it is the first study to examine the determinants of efficiency in Indonesian Islamic commercial banks using quarterly data from the period of 2015-2020. Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitas, praktikalitas, dan efektivitas produk E-LKPD yang dikembangkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian pengembangan ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D yaitu: define (pendefinisian), design (perancangan), develop (pengembangan), dan disseminate (penyebaran). E-LKPD yang dikembangkan diuji cobakan pada 38 orang peserta didik kelas X MIPA 2 SMAN 7 Banjarmasin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa E-LKPD yang dikembangkan dinyatakan sangat valid dilihat dari hasil validasi aspek kelayakan isi (99%), penyajian (96,25%), bahasa (99,3%), dan media (98,75%). E-LKPD yang dikembangkan juga telah memenuhi aspek praktikalitas yang dilihat dari hasil angket keterbacaan E-LKPD pada uji coba perorangan (81,67%) dan kelompok kecil (94%) yang termasuk kategori sangat praktis. Angket respon peserta didik memperoleh rata-rata skor 3,4 dengan persentase 85,65% yang termasuk kategori sangat praktis dan angket respon guru memperoleh rata-rata skor 3,3 dengan persentase 82,5% yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat praktis. Lembar observasi kemampuan guru menggunakan E-LKPD memperoleh persentase 87,5% dengan rata-rata skor 3,5 yang termasuk kategori sangat baik dan lembar observasi kemampuan guru mengelola kelas memperoleh persentase 96,25% dengan rata-rata skor 3,85 yang termasuk kategori sangat baik. E-LKPD juga telah memenuhi aspek efektivitas yang dilihat dari hasil rata-rata N-gain kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik yaitu 0,77 yang termasuk kategori tinggi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan produk yang dikembangkan yaitu E-LKPD berbasis model Problem Solving telah memenuhi aspek validitas, praktikalitas, dan efektivitas.

Penelitian mengenai implementasi model Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbantuan aplikasi modul Chemondroid terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik pada materi tatanama senyawa di SMK Negeri 2 Banjarmasin tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian bertujuan agar mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif, peningkatan hasil belajar, dan respon peserta didik terhadap implementasi model PjBL berbantuan aplikasi modul Chemondroid pada materi tatanama senyawa. Metode yang digunakan adalah pre-experiment dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X Multimedia B di SMK Negeri 2 Banjarmasin. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes dan non-tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) Terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif yang signifikan antara hasil pre-test dan post-test dengan N-gain sebesar 0,63 dalam kategori sedang, (2) terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan N-gain sebesar 0,76 dalam kategori tinggi, (3) Rata-rata nilai respon peserta didik sebesar 39,49 memenuhi level pada rentang kriteria positif. Sehingga implementasi model Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbantuan aplikasi modul Chemondroid berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik di SMK Negeri 2 Banjarmasin.

Penelitian mengenai pengembangan e-modul berbasis mikroskopis untuk melatih keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik pada materi larutan hidrolisis garam dan larutan penyangga di SMA Negeri 5 Banjarmasin ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan dari e-modul yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian R&D dengan model 4D. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 5 Banjarmasin sebanyak 33 orang pada uji coba kelompok kecil dan uji coba kelompok besar. Data diperoleh melalui angket observasi awal, validasi, keterbacaan, angket respon peserta didik dan guru, lembar observasi kompetensi guru menggunakan e-modul dan mengelola kelas serta tes hasil berpikir kreatif. Hasil analisis validitas dari validator menunjukkan e-modul yang dikembangkan berkategori sangat valid. Kepraktisan e-modul yang diuji coba kelompok kecil, uji coba kelompok besar, dan uji coba terbatas menunjukkan kategori sangat praktis. Keefektifan pada uji coba terbatas menunjukkan e-modul yang dikembangkan efektif dengan N-gain berkategori tinggi. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan e-modul praktikum biokimia layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran.

This study aims to find the best material for the manifold and improve airflow in the UniMAP Automotive Racing Team (uniART) exhaust manifold. The exhaust manifold is a part of the exhaust system that collects and delivers exhaust gases from the cylinder head to the exhaust outlet. The exhaust manifold’s design is significant to the engine performance. The current design and new designs of the exhaust manifold were modelled using SOLIDWORKS software. Stainless steel, cast iron and mild steel were chosen as materials for manifold and were studied by conducting the Steady-State Thermal analysis. The flow of the air in the manifold is analysed and evaluated in terms of pressure and velocity. The fluid flow and thermal analysis are simulated in Computational Fluid Dynamics analysis software known as ANSYS. Results of thermal analysis prove that Stainless steel is better than other materials since it has a high temperature difference and low heat flux. The results of fluid flow analysis were compared between the current design and new designs of the exhaust manifold. The outcome indicated that validated Design 2 has a higher velocity value at the outlet and lower pressure at inlets which improves the airflow in the exhaust manifold.

The research objective was to identify and describe the role of the principal in improving the quality of Al-Wafi Qur'an Integrated Elementary School, Depok. Research using qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques with interviews, documentation, and observation. Data analysis techniques with reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Data validation techniques with transferability and dependability. The results of the study show: (1) The principal as an educator by fostering and guiding teachers and education. (2) The principal as a manager by managing the school. (3) The school principal acts as an administrator by managing school files. (4) The school principal acts as a supervisor with class, performance, and extracurricular supervision. (5) The principal as a leader by socializing the vision, and mission and creating a school climate (7) The principal as an entrepreneur by instilling an entrepreneurial spirit and marketing the school's flagship program.

Formula SAE competition is targeted at students who are interested in designing and developing a Formula-type race car. Rules were imposed to restrict the car’s performance for safety besides encouraging problem-solving skills. One such rule is the requirement of a 20mm restrictor inserted between the carburettor and intake manifold to reduce the air intake. With a constricted airflow creating a bottleneck effect, less air will be provided to the engine for combustion, consequently reducing engine efficiency. The purpose of this project is to overcome this problem despite the restriction imposed by the rules. This is done by choosing an intake manifold material that provides a low air temperature while withstanding the stress and vibrations from the engine. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software was used to conduct the static, thermal and modal analysis of Aluminium Alloy 6063, Gray Cast Iron, Fibreglass Epoxy and Carbon Fibre Epoxy to choose the material that produces lower intake air temperature while maintaining high strength. Carbon fibre epoxy was found to provide the best durability against static stress while maintaining a lower intake air temperature compared to the other materials tested.

The Shell Eco-Marathon challenge is an annual competition held to challenge students in innovating the most fuel efficiency vehicle for either a prototype or an urban concept vehicle. An urban concept vehicle is designed for fuel efficiency using electricity as source of power. Apart from the use of electricity as an alternative to internal combustion engines, the design of the vehicle is also crucial for efficiency. The car bodywork design needs to be aerodynamically designed to minimise drag and subsequently use less energy to move. The design must also incorporate structural integrity to protect the driver as well as providing airflow for sufficient ventilation both inside the passenger and the engine compartment. Five models for the rear and front designs were produced using CATIA and analysed using Computational Fluid Dynamics in ANSYS Fluent. The models underwent a virtual wind tunnel on three different air velocity speeds, 20 km/h, 30 km/h and 40 km/h to generate a force report of drag force and coefficient on each design. The front design is chosen based on the lowest drag coefficient and force while the rear design is selected based on a balanced downforce while achieving the lowest practical drag force. The results demonstrated that the air resistance faced by a car was highly influenced by both front and rear design of the body.

This article proposes a novel technology called water jet cavitation shock micro-forming to fabricate micro-features on 304 stainless steel foils with a thickness of 100µm, using a cavitation nozzle with an incident pressure of 8 to 20MPa. This study investigated the surface morphology of the formed part, the influence of incident pressure, target distance, and impact time on the forming depth, and analyzed the punching phenomenon of the formed components. The experimental results after the water jet cavitation shocking indicated that the surface morphology of the formed part of the 304 stainless foil sample had good quality and no conventional defects such as die scratches and cracks. Furthermore, when the incident pressure was 20MPa, the height of the uniform-shaped spherical cap exceeded 262µm. The forming depth increased with increasing incident pressure and impact time. Under an incident pressure of 20MPa, with the increase of target distance, the average depth of the formed part increased at first and then decreased. Finally, the analysis of the blanking phenomenon indicated that when the incident pressure increased to 30MPa, the workpiece was completely blanked. This is mainly because, under this incident pressure, the shockwave pressure generated by the collapse of the bubble deforms the workpiece beyond the stress limit of the material itself.

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the norms of daily life for individuals around the world. This change causes employees to work from home (WFH). This new norm has opened up the landscape for the advantages of WFH and adapting oneself in performing tasks. In addition to the advantages of WFH, and leadership style and work autonomy also have the potential to assist employees to adapt the flexible work environment. Therefore, the purpose of the study is to examine the effect of WFH on adaptive performance among employees in Malaysia. This study examined the effects of humble leadership, and its moderating effects on the association between WFH and employees’ adaptive performance. The field study was conducted in Malaysia among public and private sector employees and total 200 participants were approached. The Partial Least Square (PLS) technique was used to test the hypothesized relationships among variables. The results of this study indicated that the WFH and humble leadership influenced adaptive performance and employees who perceived high humble leadership strengthen the relationship between WFH and adaptive performance. The study sheds new light on the advantages of WFH and humble leadership on adaptive performance. The theoretical and practical implications are discussed.

Pineapple is a commodity and economic fruit with a high market potential worldwide. Almost 60% of the fresh pineapple, such as peels, pulp, crowns and leaves, are agricultural waste. It is noteworthy that the waste has a high concentration of crude fibre, proteins, ascorbic acid, sugars and moisture content. The pineapple waste utilisation in animal feed has recently drawn the attention of many investigators to enhance growth performance and concomitantly reduce environmental pollution. Its inclusion in animal feed varies according to the livestock, such as feed block, pelleted or directly used as a roughage source for ruminants. The pineapple waste is also fermented to enrich the nutrient content of poultry feed. To date, the inclusion of pineapple waste in animal feed is optimistic not only for livestock but also for farmed fish. Indeed, it is an ideal strategy to improve the feed supply to the farm. This paper aims to overview the source, nutritional composition, and application of pineapple waste in animal feed. The recent findings on its effect on animal growth performance, nutrition and disease control are discussed comprehensively and summarised. The review also covers its benefits, potential impacts on sustainable farming and future perspectives.

Character education has an important role in creating quality next generations. One of the efforts made in instilling character values for future generations is through reading and writing Al-Qur'an activities. The purpose of writing this article is to describe how character education is habituated through reading and writing Al-Qur'an programs in Pesisir Village, Kec. Sumberasih Kab. Probolinggo. Based on the preparation and results of trials from the community that was carried out. The author uses a literature review that comes from various sources and scientific journals in the results analysis section. The results of the discussion explained that reading and writing Al-Qur'an activities make children who have habituation so that they can practice Islamic religious teachings and form a religious character. Al-Qur'an reading and writing activities are implemented through a fun approach for children, namely by holding simple games and competitions. Therefore, reading and writing the Qur'an is a reflection by bridging the child's religious character which can be applied from childhood to the end of his life.

Introduction: The COVID?19 pandemic and associated public health measures have disrupted the mental health or well-being of children in some way. It is already evident that the increased use of gadgets and excessive screen time during the COVID-19 pandemic among children and adolescents has a significant influence on mental and emotional well-being among children. Objective: This study aimed to determine the association between device usage and the mental-emotional state of schoolchildren during the COVID-19 pandemic.Methods: This is a quantitative cross-sectional study. A questionnaire survey was employed using the Malay Parent-Report Version of the Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire, conducted among 232 parents of schoolchildren aged 7 to 12 years. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to draw insights from the data. Results: The findings indicate a statistically significant relationship between gadget usage (including the duration of playing a gadget per day, the frequency of playing a gadget per week, the type of gadget, ownership of the gadget, and the use of a gadget) and mental emotional state among schoolchildren (p value ? 0.05).Conclusion: The outcomes of the study indicate that the pattern of electronic gadget usage has significantly impacted schoolchildren's mental and emotional states.

Copper oxide Nanoparticles (CuONPs) are used in different agricultural applications. Large amounts of CuONPs cause organ dysfunction in animals. Our study aim to compare between the toxic effects of CuONanSphere (CuONSp) and CuONanoFlower (CuONF) as new nano-pesticides, determine a less toxic form when used in agricultural applications. To characterize CuONSp and CuONF, we used X-ray diffraction (XRD), Field emission scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and High resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) and Zeta-sizer device.18 adult male albino rats were divided into three groups (n = 6), (I) control group, (II) and (III) groups were given orally 50 mg/kg/day of CuONSp and CuONF 30 days respectively. CuONSp induced oxidant-antioxidant abnormalities, including an increase in malondialdhyde (MDA) and a decrease in glutathione (GSH) in comparison to CuONF-treated one. CuONSp induced an increase in liver enzymes activities compared to CuONF. Tumour necrosis factor-alfa (TNF-α) detected an increased in liver and lung compared to CuONF. However, histological examinations revealed changes in CuONSp group than CuONF group. Changes in immune-expressions of TNF-α, nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B cells (NF-kβ) and tumour suppressor gene (p53) were also more identified in CuONSp group than CuONF group. Ultrastructural studies of liver and lung tissues marked alternations were observed in CuONSp group than CuONF group. In conclusion, CuONSp induced biological alternation in liver and lung more than CuONF. So, CuONF is less toxic compared to CuONSp when used as nano-pesticide in agricultural applications. Introduction: The European Centre for Disease and Prevention Control and World Health Organization (WHO) had established the guidelines for infection prevention and control (IPC) in managing possible and confirm cases of COVID-19. WHO has enforced an interim guideline for public and healthcare services for COVID-19 to be used together with the existing core component of IPC. Objective: To investigate the level of knowledge on COVID-19 and IPC and its compliance among healthcare providers (HCPs) in one of teaching hospitals, Sultan Ahmad Shah Medical Centre (SASMEC@IIUM).Methods: A quantitative cross-sectional study with convenience sampling was conducted among 114 HCPs by using self-reported questionnaire from May 2021 to July 2021. Descriptive and correlation statistical analysis were employed in this study. The data was analysed using IBM SPSS Statistic version 20. Results: Majority of the respondents (N=114) reported have good knowledge and 84.2% have good compliance on COVID-19, IPC There is a moderate positive correlation between level of knowledge on COVID-19 and knowledge on IPC, respectively (r=0.616, r=0.601), but fair correlation between knowledge on COVID-19 and compliance on IPC (r=0.374). There is a moderate positive correlation between knowledge on IPC and IPC compliance (r=0.601). Conclusion: HCPs in SASMEC@IIUM have good knowledge on COVID-19 and IPC as well as good compliance on IPC. This indicates regular training on IPC among HCPs provide great impact to the teaching hospital.

Background: An outbreak of Covid-19 caused by the SARS-Cov-2 initially emerged in China in December 2019 and the first Covid-19 patient was detected on 8 March 2020 in Bangladesh. The preconception about the major symptoms and outcomes of Covid-19-positive patients may be helpful for healthcare professionals in the management of Covid-19 patients. This study aimed to evaluate the major symptoms and outcomes of covid-19 positive patients. Methods: This prospective observational study was conducted in the Department of Medicine, Rajshahi Medical College Hospital, Rajshahi, Bangladesh from January 2021 to December 2021. In total 67 confirmed Covid-19 cases by RT-PCR tests who attended the mentioned hospital were enrolled in this study as the study population. For data collection, a pre-designed questionnaire was used. Along with demographic and clinical features data regarding in-hospital mortality, intensive care unit (ICU) admission, use of invasive mechanical ventilation, total hospital length of stay, complications, and treatment patterns were recorded. Collected data were processed, analyzed and disseminated by using the MS Excel program. Results: The highest number of patients were with a cough which was found among 49% of cases. Besides this, shortness of breath, hypoxemia/oxygen use, lower limb swelling and bleeding were found among 39%, 27%, 12% and the rest 7% of patients respectively. The highest number of patients were with hypertension (HTN) as comorbidity which was found in 15% of cases. Besides this, diabetes mellitus (DM), chronic kidney diseases (CKD), chronic respiratory diseases (CRD), cancer/immunodeficiency and cardiac diseases were found among 12, 10%, 7%, 4% and the rest 1% of patients, respectively. As the outcomes, the cure rate was found up to 97% and death occurred in only 3% (n=2) cases. We observed that 10% of patients did not stay at the hospital even for a single day. For only 7% of patients, ventilation facilities were in needed and the average ventilation time was 13.5 days. Conclusion: Cough and shortness of breath are two major symptoms for Covid-19 patients. Proper ventilation and ICU facilities can decrease the suffering, mortality as well as morbidity of Covid-19 patients.

During this time peatlands were discussed related to forest and land fires so that presidential regulation No. 1 of 2016 concerning peat restoration agency (BRG) was issued. The initial study of BRG on the development status of villages in the bergambut area shows that most villages are in the status of villages are very left behind or villages are left behind, so the peat care village (DPG) approach is used. The purpose of the study is: analyzing the perception of peat care village communities in Kubu Raya Regency on peatland restoration policies and analyzing factors that affect community participation in BRG programs and activities. The research location is Kubu Raya Regency. The population of this study is a community in DPG Sungai Nipah. The number of samples as many as 32 respondents and sampling was done using snowballing sampling. The variables studied are: characteristics of respondents, characteristics of peatland restoration policies, community perceptions, opinions/responses that are views given by the community on peat restoration policies, knowledge, and attitudes. To analyze factors that affect community participation in BRG programs and activities are used Logit Regression. Overall, respondents' attitudes towards BRG programs and activities were in the positive to very positive range. The variables of gender, perception and variable experience of trying to exert a significant partial influence on participation in BRG programs and activities. To improve the positive perception of the community, there is a need for assistance efforts from all community institutions in rural areas. Paludiculture cultivation techniques and using creative economic development strategies on peat swamplands with Green Circular Economy Consep can be an alternative to BRG programs and activities.

Background: Diabetes mellitus is associated with various metabolic disorders, which leads to the progression of the disease and its complications. Dyslipidemia has been noted to play an integral role in the pathogenesis and progression of micro and macro vascular complications in diabetes mellitus (DM) patients. Lipid profile is the indicators of dyslipidemia. Aim of the Study: The aim of this study was to accumulate the frequency of metabolic syndrome and lipid profile among patient with type 2 diabetes. Methods: This hospital based descriptive type of observational study was conducted in the Department of Medicine, North Bengal Medical College and Hospital, Sirajgonj, Bangladesh during the period from January 2022 to December 2022. In total 97 diagnosed patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus were enrolled in this study as the study subjects. Proper written consents were taken from all the participants before data collection. All demographic as well as clinical data were recorded. Data were processed, analyzed and disseminated by using MS Excel and SPSS version 23.0 program as per necessity. Results: The highest number (37%) of our participants was from 41-50 years’ age group and the female participants were dominating in number. Majority of the patients (63%) were obese: ≥30. In this current study, the frequency of metabolic syndrome was found as 71%. The mean± SD total cholesterol, triglyceride, LDL cholesterol and HDL cholesterol of the respondents were found as 179.88±42.81, 179.88±42.81, 109.74±46.69 and 44.75±7.68 mg/dL respectively. Among the majority of our patients (72%) normal (≥40 mg/dL) HDL level was found. Conclusion: The higher frequency of metabolic syndrome among type 2 diabetes patients demands more attention from health professionals as well as the policy makers. There may not have any significant correlation of metabolic syndrome or type 2 diabetes with lipid profile but aged people may be prone to those diseases.

Background: Despite noteworthy socio-economic development and advances in medical science, tuberculosis (TB) remains a major public health problem. Although it is a curable disease, still millions of people suffer and a large number of patients die from this infectious disease. Now a day, the prevalence and nature of tuberculosis are not in a consistent stage. So we need more current information regarding this issue. Aim of the study: The aim of this study was to assess the clinical profile of tuberculosis patients attended in a tertiary care hospital in Bangladesh. Methods: This was a prospective, observational study which was conducted in the department of Medicine, North Bengal Medical College, Sirajgonj, Bangladesh during the period from January 2020 to June 2022. In total 87 diagnosed patients with tuberculosis, treated in the mentioned hospital were selected as the study subjects. Before data collection, proper written consents were taken from all the participants. For data collection a predesigned questionnaire was used in data collection. Collected data were processed, analyzed and disseminated by using MS Excel and SPSS version 23.0 program as per necessity. Results: In this study, the male-female ratio of the participants was 1.7:1. The highest number of participants were from the 41-50 years’ age group which was 27.59%. BMI (Kg/m2) was found ≥18.5 in 61% and < 18.5 was found in 39% of patients. Majority (56%) of the cases were ‘non- smoker’. As the types of TB, pulmonary Koch’s, CNS tuberculosis, abdominal Koch’s, and TB lymphadenitis were found in 43% 21%, 14%, and 13% of participants respectively which was noticeable. In this study, among all the participants, cough and fever were found as two most frequent symptoms which were found in 93% and 84% of patients respectively. Conclusion: Fever and cough are the two most frequent symptoms in tuberculosis patients. Although the death rate among TB patients is not alarming, the treatment success rate of the first treatment attempt is not satisfactory among tuberculosis patients.

School is an educational institution that is responsible for realizing the functions and goals of national education. In this case, the principal has a very strategic role because one of the principal’s duties is to be a manager. The principal must be able to manage the entire school, including managing existing human resources; especially teachers and administrative staff who are direct implementers in school activities who also play a major role in the success of the school in order to achieve the school’s vision, mission and goals. Resource management is carried out through several activities including preparation, arrangement, direction, and supervision. In terms of human resource management, school principals have tasks that are divided into three aspects, including: 1) provision of employees, 2) utilization of existing employees, and 3) building and developing. Factors that support and also hinder human resource management must be managed properly so that good performance will be obtained, school goals can be achieved, and the quality of graduates will increase.

In this study, we report biodiesel production from waste cooking oil using CaO catalyst derived from Madura limestone through a transesterification reaction. Many limestone quarries in Madura can be used as heterogeneous catalysts because they are cheap, easy to separate, and have high basicity. Conversion of limestone into CaO catalyst through calcination at 900°C for 3 hours. The CaO catalyst formed was characterized using X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transform Infra-Red (FTIR), and Scanning Electron Microscopy-Energy Dispersive X-Ray (SEM-EDX) instruments. Biodiesel formed through the transesterification reaction was analyzed using GC-MS. Furthermore, biodiesel blends from waste cooking oil and pure diesel were prepared in volume percentages (B-10, B-20, B-30, B-40, and B-100) for testing on diesel engine performance. The results of testing the highest torque and brake horsepower (BHP) were obtained on pure diesel fuel (S-100) at 2.49 Nm and 381.12 watts, respectively. The lowest fuel consumption at 1500 rpm is produced on the B-20 at 0.186 kg/h. Overall, the emission characteristics of carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen oxides (NOx), and nitrogen monoxide (NO) with the lowest concentration resulted from biodiesel blends rather than pure diesel.

This study reconstructed the proto-phoneme of consonants for a subdialect in the central basin of the Pahang River. The length of this river is 459 kilometres, and the area in the centre part of the river was selected to perform comparative linguistics observations. Five research sites were selected for this study purpose, namely Kuala Tembeling (KT), Lada (LDA), Jeransang (JRG), Kedondong (DDG), and Bukit Nikmat (BMT), based on their distinctive phonological characteristics. The research sites were visited twice to ensure the authenticity of the gathered data. The data were screened to extract cognate words using Crowley’s framework. Crowley’s sound correspondence set (SCS) was employed to evaluate and extract proto-phonemes. After the phonemes were retrieved, the reconstructed proto-phoneme of Adelaar was used as a point of comparison. The findings revealed that Proto-Centre Pahang river (PCPr) has 18 ancient consonant phonemes (*p, *b, *t, *d, *k, *ɡ, *m, *n, *ɲ, *ŋ, *l, *s, *ɣ, *h, *c, *ɟ, *w, and *j). The distribution of these consonants is diverse and depends on the consonant type. A vocalic feature of PCPr, such as vowels and diphthongs, should be the subject of future discussion to arrive at definitive conclusions regarding phonological changes between PCPr and Proto-Malayic (PM).

The Formula SAE competition is organised for students who want to design and build a Formula-style race car. To limit the car's performance for safety and to encourage problem-solving skills, a 20mm restrictor was installed between the carburetor and the intake manifold to reduce air intake. When airflow is restricted, a bottleneck effect occurs, and less air is supplied to the engine for combustion, lowering engine efficiency. The goal of this project is to find a solution to this problem within the rules' limitations. This is accomplished by selecting an intake manifold that provides the best uniform distribution through each outlet and selecting a material that can withstand engine stress and vibrations while maintaining a relatively low temperature to ensure consistent velocity and pressure. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software is used to analyse the design's fluid flow, static, and thermal analysis, and the results are compared for each design. To find out the feasibility and to know the effectiveness of the E-LKPD (Student Worksheet) Based on the Round Robin Type Cooperative Learning Model in Class VII English Subjects at Private Middle School IT Permata Hati Tebing Tinggi. This research is a Borg & Gall product development research and is combined with the Dick & Carey model. Subjects included 2 material experts, 2 media experts, 3 students in the individual test, 9 students in the small group test, and 26 students in the limited field test. The results showed that the E-LKPD Based on Cooperative Learning Round Robin Type was feasible to use, based on the validation of learning material experts 98.59% were in very decent qualifications, media expert validation was 94.64% in the very feasible category, individual trials were 92.42% were in the very feasible category, 95.70% for small group trials were in the very feasible category and 91.87% for field trials were in the very feasible category. The results of submitting the hypothesis prove that the learning E-LKPD is feasible to use, and there is a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students who are given treatment using the E-LKPD and printed media. This is indicated by the results of data processing tcount = 5.63 at a significance level of ? = 0.05 with df obtained t table = 50, so that tcount > ttable (5.63 > 1.63).

DPP-4 inhibitors are present in the market for almost more than a decade. In Management of T2DM, DPP-4 inhibitors are established therapy option. The precise guidance for the pre- and post-approval and also CV safety of the newer antidiabetic agents was released by the USFDA in 2008. A neutral effect of Pooled safety analyses, as well as retrospective meta-analyses of clinical trials, have consistently demonstrated that DPP-4 inhibitors are not associated with any increase in cardiovascular adverse events, and have even pointed towards a risk reduction. The combination therapy of Alogliptin with other agents like metformin and pioglitazone have been shown to provide better and superior efficacy as compared to individual monotherapy. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis variabel harga dan kualitas pelayanan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan pengguna jasa Go-Jek di STIE-KBP Padang. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada mahasiswa pengguna Go-Jek di STIE-KBP Padang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik probabilitas, dengan salah satu metodenya adalah purposive sampling. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 89 orang. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan SPSS 23. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa harga (X1) tidak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan, tangible (X2) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan, empati (X3 ) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan, reliability (X4) tidak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan, responsiveness (X5) tidak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan, assurance (X6) berpengaruh positif dan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan pada mahasiswa yang menggunakan layanan Go-Jek di STIE-KBP Padang.

Aerospace industry is seeking thermoplastic composites materials due to several advantages over thermoset material and one of them is mechanical properties. Mechanical properties of thermoplastic composite materials are found to be superior compared to thermoset materials. High strength fibre composites parts are made of several plies with different fibre orientation with a designed balanced of lay-up sequence. Interlaminar Shear Strength (ILSS) is an essential consideration when designing laminated structures exposed to transverse stresses. It is to predict quality and strength of laminate levels of composite due to, composite failure cannot be observed directly to the propagation of single macroscopic crack when subjected to cyclic loading. This test is employed to evaluate both the interfacial adhesion of the matrix and the influence of the reinforcement on the mechanical characteristics of the composite. This study provides the understanding of ILSS test of 2 different thickness for 6 and 8 plies Carbon Fibre Reinforced Polyphenylene Sulfide (CF/PPS) according to the testing standard EN 2563. The results show that 8 plies have higher ILSS properties compared to 6 plies. The fractography of the CF/PPS composite under Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) shows good agreement with the experimental values which was recorded 8 plies can withstand to shear strength of 79 MPa with maximum load applied was 2.738kN while, 6 plies recorded 75 MPa on shear strength with load of 1.971kN. More damage/cracks on 6 plies specimen compared to 8 plies.

This study aims to develop an Islamic personality model as a psychometric tool to assess creditworthiness as an alternative predictive character analysis for micro businesses. The method designed to formulate the proposed model coded in R Studio uses two approaches. First, we modify Moslem Religiosity Personality Inventory and then frame a structural model based on Partial Least Square. Subsequently, we use the random forest technique to see the model's accuracy. The result shows a valid and reliable model and performs with 89.47 % accuracy with an Area Under Curve -Receiver Operating Characteristic of 90.06 %.
