Maternal Class is one of the essential activities that respectful care for making maternal and safe childbirth. However, in reality, so far these maternal classes have only been attended by mothers themselves, without the participation of husbands as birth attendants, even though since 2000, the Indonesian government has launched the Alert Husband program. Therefore, the community service team in collaboration with the midwife made efforts to empower the participation of husbands in-class activities for pregnant women to increase the knowledge and skills of husbands as facilitators of childbirth assistance, especially in carrying out labor pain management techniques. The main target of this activity is 10 couples of husband and wife, with counseling methods, discussions, simulations, and practical demonstrations. The results of this activity were very satisfying and effective, there a knowledge increase score was obtained with an average of 45.50 to 93.50, and skills from a value of 5.60 increased to 10.00. Furthermore, it is hoped that this maternal's class will be routinely carried out at least once a week so that the Alert husband's role will continue to be active and sustainable.

The complexity of health problems in adolescents needed requires an comprehensive and integrated treatment that involves all elements across the programs and related sectors. Youth Posyandu was a solution that can be offered to community. This activities aims as a forum that brings together adolescent or youth in managing and facilitating them to getting informations which is about healthy lifestyle, adolescent reproductive health and other health problems. The methods used include 3 steps: preparation, actions, and evaluation. The location was in Lempuing, Ratu Agung District, Bengkulu City, and involving 25 adolescents. The results of the activity showed that the establishment of the youth Posyandu in Lempuing had a positive impact on partners. In conclusion, this youth Posyandu makes it easier for teenagers to obtain information related to a healthy lifestyle, forms youth support groups, and becomes a forum that facilitates youth in understanding their daily problems.

All advanced learners deserve a content-based curriculum that will challenge them to learn more deeply and more broadly, that will enable connections to different domains of learning, and that will raise questions about the world. This article examines the reasons for educators not providing curricula to accommodate advanced learners, characteristics of a well-designed curriculum, and critical steps needed to ensure the effective implementation of such a curriculum for advanced learners.

The percentage of the incidence of anxiety experienced by premenopausal women worldwide is still relatively high (77%). About 25% of anxiety occurs during menopause, with various symptoms caused by individuals, depending on psychological and emotional. This study aimed to determine the relationship between knowledge and family support with anxiety incidence in premenopausal women at the Pekik Nyaring Community Health Centre, Central Bengkulu Regency, in 2022. The research design used a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study were all women aged 45-55 years in 12 Integrated Post for Non-Communicable Diseases or Pos Pelayanan Terpadu Penyakit Tidak Menular (Posbindu PTM ) Pekik Nyaring Community Health Centre, totalling 981 people. The sample in this study was 78 respondents taken by purposive sampling, and the number of samples distributed in each Posbindu was not equal. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate analysis using Chi-Square. The results showed that 78 premenopausal women (53.8%) experienced moderate and severe anxiety, (59%) had poor knowledge, and (65.4%) had poor family support. There was a relationship between knowledge and anxiety in premenopausal women with p=0.002 < 0.05 and OR = 5.0. It means that premenopausal women with poor knowledge were 5 times more likely to experience moderate and severe anxiety. There was a relationship between family support and premenopausal women's anxiety, p=0.000 < 0.05 and OR = 8.4. It means that premenopausal women who receive family support were at least 8 times more likely to experience moderate and severe anxiety. Suggestions for the Community Health Centre, in this case, the Head of the Community Health Centre, can optimise health workers to create innovative programs related to women's preparation for menopause

A daganatos megbetegedések valószínűleg a növényi és állati szervezetekkel együtt fejlődtek az evolúció során. Az első irodlami adat az Ebers-papiruszban található daganatos megbetgedésről, mely megközelítőleg i.e. 1600 évek környékén íródhatott (Lesnik & Vrtiak, 1980). De régészeti ásatások során is kerültek elő állatok daganatos elváltozásaikkal együtt megkövesedve (L. Capasso, 2022; L. L. Capasso, 2005). A halakban előforduló daganatos megbetegedéseknek számos kiváltó oka lehet. Az elváltozások nem csak díszhalakban, hanem akvakultúrában nevelt és tenyésztett állatokban is megtalálhatóak (Brocca és mtsai., 2021; Gordon & Smith, 1938; Rahmati-Holasoo és mtsai., 2018; Sirri és mtsai., 2010). Tumorok kialakulását előidézhetik az emberi tevékenység miatt a vizekbe jutott szennyezőanyagok, toxinok, a környezetben is előforduló, a táplálékba, tápokba bekerülő mikotoxinok, vagy akár onkogén vírusok is (Black & Baumann, 1991; Noga, 2010).

Asphyxia is one of the causes of neonatal death. The causes of asphyxia neonatorum consist of maternal factors, placental factors, fetal factors and labor factors. The purpose of this study was to determine the determinants of the incidence of asphyxia neonatorum in Dr. M. Yunus hospital Bengkulu. Design of this study uses a case control study with a retrospective approach. The population in this study were all newborns recorded in the perinatology room register at Dr. M. Yunus hospital Bengkulu in 2020 and 2021, as many as 577 newborns. The case sample in the case sampling technique was total sampling with a total of 186 newborns with asphyxia. The control sample was taken with a ratio of 1:1 so that the control sample was 186 newborns who did not have asphyxia. The results of statistical tests showed that maternal age, amniotic fluid mixed meconium, prolonged labor and type of delivery with p value 0.05, which means that there are no relationship to the incidence of asphyxia in newborns. The most influential factor with the incidence of asphyxia was amniotic fluid mixed meconium with an OR value of 3.798. It is necessary to increase the ability of midwives in providing services and delivery assistance, especially in the event of amniotic fluid mixed meconium through education and training both internally and externally through seminars or special training.

Luka perineum merupakan luka karena adanya robekan pada jalan lahir maupun karena episiotomi pada saat melahirkan janin. Dalam penyembuhan luka perineum, terdapat beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi lamanya penyembuhan luka perineum pada seorang ibu postpartum antara lain adalah usia ibu, pengetahuan ibu mengenai perawatan luka perineum, indeks massa tubuh (IMT), serta proses mobilisasi yang dilakukan oleh ibu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor yang berhubungan dengan penyembuhan luka perineum pada ibu nifas di Kota Bengkulu tahun 2022. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah observational analytic dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh ibu nifas di PMB “F”, PMB “O”, dan PMB “H” di Kota Bengkulu yang berjumlah 239 ibu nifas. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 40 responden yang diambil secara Purposive Sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Fisher Exact. dari 40 responden terdapat 15 (37,5%) memiliki usia berisiko dan 25 (62,5%) responden memiliki usia tidak berisiko. Responden dengan IMT normal sebanyak 27 (67%) responden dan IMT tidak normal sebanyak 13 (32,5%). Responden yang memiliki Riwayat mobilisasi dini baik sebanyak 25 (60%) dan responden memiliki riwayat kurang baik sebanyak 16 (40%) responden. Sebagian besar responden memiliki pengetahuan yang baik yaitu sebanyak 30 (75%). Pengetahuan kurang sebanyak 6 (15%) responden. Ada hubungan mobilisasi dini terhadap penyembuhan luka perineum dengan nilai p value variabel mobilisasi dini sebesar 0,005 (0,05), nilai p value variabel pengetahuan adalah 1,000 (>0,05) dan variabel IMT nilai p value 0,812. Diharapkan bagi PMB “F”, PMB “O” dan PMB “H” mampu memperhatikan faktor yang berhubungan dengan penyembuhan luka perineum untuk mencegah terjadinya infeksi pada luka.

This study assessed stakeholder perceptions across 12 gifted programs in respect to the extent to which the programs were perceived to be effective in carrying out the formal operations required of the program in the areas of identification, curriculum, instruction, and assessment. These areas were aligned to the National Association for Gifted Children’s standards. Specific questions addressed included: To what extent was the program perceived to be effective by stakeholders affected by it? To what extent did the program align with best practice standards in the field? While stakeholders were positive about the overall program, they reported that the programs needed to be improved in the following areas: identifying underrepresented populations, improving differentiated curriculum and accelerative options, providing professional learning for teachers, and using assessments appropriate for gifted learners to show growth.

Background: Labor processes require energy consumption regulated by a complex nervous system and hormonal response. Thus, the intensity of maternal nutritional intake since pregnancy should be highly considered for physiological delivery. Nutrients that are high in energy and provide fast-decomposing glucose intake should be chosen by the mothers. Kusuma is a kind of drink made from dates, milk, and honey. This study aimed to analyze the effect of Kusuma milk-shake drink implementations on cervical dilatation and duration of labor.Methods: An experimental study was conducted by post-test only with a controlled group design, including 34 mothers with term pregnancy, which was intervention groups and controls. A completely randomized design in two different places was conducted. Data were analyzed using Shapiro-wilk, independent sample T-test, and Mann-Whitney. Results: There was a significant effect of Kusuma milk-shake implementation on cervical dilatation (p=0.000). The dilatation process was found to be 5.5 times faster, and the duration of labor (p=0.000) was observed to be 9.7 hours faster than the control group.Conclusions: Implementation of the Kusuma milk-shake has a significant effect on the acceleration of cervical dilation and the duration of labor. This research is expected to improve the quality of midwifery services as an effort to realize the concept of a Continuum of Obstetric Care.

The author identifies six myths that pervade educational thinking about advanced learning and constrain educational opportunities for gifted students. These myths relate to higher-level thinking, differentiated learning outcomes, accelerated work, limitations on other students, standards, and students from low-income backgrounds. The author concludes that all students deserve to advance their learning, to find their own life themes in whatever creative area they can find or devise.

Angka kematian ibu dan bayi di Indonesia masih cukup tinggi disebabkan oleh komplikasi selama kehamilan, persalinan dan nifas. Upaya menurunkan angka kematian ibu saat ini telah mengalami pergeseran paradigma, dari mendeteksi dan mengatasi komplikasi, berubah menjadi mencegah, mendeteksi dan mengatasi komplikasi yang ditemukan. Upaya tersebut melalui peningkatan kualitas pelayanan kesehatan bagi ibu hamil di Indonesia, yakni dengan melibatkan peran serta suami dalam kegiatan kelas ibu hamil. Permasalahan saat ini masih banyak keluarga/suami yang masih bingung akan perannya sebagai pendamping itu sendiri. Peran pendamping persalinan ini adalah pemberi dukungan emosional, materi, informasi, dan penghargaan terus-menerus. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan peran serta suami/keluarga agar dapat meningkatkan partisipasi suami dan pendamping dalam proses persalinan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Praktik Mandiri Bidan (PMB) Kasih Ibu, sebanyak dua kali pertemuan, dengan target peserta melibatkan 10 pasangan suami istri (usia kehamilan ibu 32-36 minggu, primigravida). Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survey lapangan, pre-post test pengetahuan, pengisian materi, diskusi tanya jawab, simulasi pendampingan dan praktik manajemen nyeri persalinan. Solusi yang ditawarkan berkaitan dengan kemampuan suami/pendamping dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan, informasi, dukungan, dan keterampilan dalam pendampingan serta manajemen mengurangi nyeri. Keluaran pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah berupa peningkatan pengetahuan, kualitas pendampingan dan partisipasi suami menjelang proses persalinan, dan memperkaya pendidikan dalam aktivitas kelas ibu hamil.

She established the Gifted Education Research and Resource Center (GERRIC) at The University of New South Wales where she trained Australia’s teachers in gifted education, conducted research, and developed programs for precollegiate learners.

Berberine is an alkaloid found in plants. It has neuroprotective, anti-inflammatory and hypolipidemic activities. The research proves that it also strongly impacts carbohydrate metabolism. The compound also protects pancreatic β-cells and increases sensitivity to insulin in peripheral tissues via the induction of GLUT-1, GLUT-4 and insulin type 1 (Ins-1) receptors activity. It also stimulates glycolysis and leads to a decrease in insulin resistance by macrophages polarization, lipolytic processes induction and energy expenditure enhancement (by reducing body mass and limiting insulin resistance caused by obesity). In liver berberine inhibits FOX01, SREBP1 and ChREBP pathways, and HNF-4α (hepatocyte nuclear factor 4 alpha) mRNA that hinder gluconeogenesis processes. In the intestines it blocks α-glucosidase contributing to glucose absorption decrease. Its interference in intestinal flora reduces levels of monosaccharides and suppresses diabetes mellitus complications development.

A new class of selective vasopressin receptor 1A (V1A) antagonists was identified, where "methyl-scan" was performed around the benzene ring of the 5-hydroxy-triazolobenzazepine core. This led to the synthesis of two 10-methyl derivatives, each possessing a chiral axis and a stereogenic center. The four atropisomeric stereoisomers (involving two enantiomer pairs and atropisomeric diastereomers) could be successfully isolated and spectroscopically characterized. According to the in vitro pharmacological profiles of the compounds, the human V1A receptor has a strong preference toward the isomers having an aR axial chirality, the most active isomer being the aR,5S isomer. Furthermore, the structure-activity relationships obtained for the isomers and for the newly synthesized analogues could be tentatively explained by an in silico study.

Introduction: Knowledge about the importance of a healthy lifestyle in the prevention of cardiovascular diseases should be an integral part of the medical education of future physicians and other healthcare professionals. The aim of the study was to assess the presence of selected cardiovascular risk factors in comparison to cardioprotective factors in the group of students of the Medical University of Warsaw. Material and methods: The study was conducted using a lifestyle questionnaire based on the questionnaire developed at the Loma Linda University with the participation of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. It covered 280 students of medicine and physiotherapy. Results: Although 81% of the respondents have a normal BMI, 77% of the surveyed population does not eat the recommended 5 portions of vegetables and fruits a day. 44% of physiotherapy students and 32% of medical students do not attain the recommended minimum of 30 minutes a day of moderate or vigorous physical activity. 76 out of 212, i.e. almost 36% of students, declare using nicotine in the last year. Conclusions: Medical students are not free from lifestyle-related cardiovascular risk factors. The percentage of people using nicotine is high and further studies are needed to assess what factors contribute to the lack of adherence to healthy lifestyle recommendations among this group of respondents.

Rasa nyeri persalinan disebabkan proses kontraksi dari Rahim dalam usaha untuk mengeluarkan buah kehamilan. Dalam persalinan, nyeri yang timbul menyebabkan stress, dan rasa khawatir berlebihan. Mengatasi rasa nyeri persalinan yaitu dengan terapi farmakologis dan non-farmakologis. Terapi non-farmakologi berupa pijat endorphin dapat menjadi salah satu pilihan dan dapat diterapkan untuk mengurangi intensitas nyeri persalinan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk diketahui intensitas nyeri persalinan dan pengaruh pengaruh pijat endorphin terhadap penurunan intensitas nyeri persalinan dengan melakukan literature review beberapa artikel terkait. Metode yang digunakan adalah literatur review dengan desain penelitian eksperiment design. Sumber Pencarian literatur menggunakan empat database yaitu: Google Scholar, Portal Garuda, Indonesia One Search dan SINTA dengan tahun terbit 2016-2020. Seleksi studi sesuai kriteria inkulsi dengan prisma checklist dari judul, abstrak, full text dan dinilai kelayakan studi selanjutnya dianalisis dari temuan studi.Hasil pencarian terdapat 10 jurnal yang memenuhi kriteria inkulsi. Setelah ditabulasi dan dianalisis 10 studi menggunakan eksperiment design dan secara keseluruhan menunjukkan bahwa ibu bersalin mengalami nyeri persalinan dengan intensitas nyeri ringan, nyeri sedang, nyeri berat dan secara keseluruhan studi menunjukkan bahwa terapi pijat endorphin memberikan pengaruh terhadap internsitas nyeri persalinan. Kesimpulan pijat endorphin merupakan intervensi yang layak diberikan untuk penurunan intensitas nyeri persalinan. Kata Kunci: Pengaruh, Pijat Endorphin, Nyeri, Persalinan kala I

The aquaculture industry is growing and includes the farming and breeding of more than 580 aquatic species worldwide. The rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss, Walbaum 1792) is the most commonly bred trout species in Hungary. As broodfish form the basis of most fish farms, investigation into tumours occurring in trout, although under-researched, has proven to be a valuable and necessary field of study. During our investigation, we examined a broodstock of 3- to 6-year-old rainbow trouts (800) affected with idiopathic intestinal tumours (3%) which had consequentially led to ileus (40%). While performing necropsy, initial pathological observations showed intussusceptions. Tumours were discovered upon opening the body cavity, as well as metastasis forming in the livers and in the vessels of the gills. Histopathological and immunohistochemical tests allowed us to identify the neoplasms. The primary adenocarcinoma was found to have been developed within the intestines of the fish. The tumour tissue broke through the basal membrane and infiltrated the propria, protruding asymmetrically into the lumen of the mid-intestines, causing it to narrow significantly. This subsequently led to passage disorders, invagination of the intestinal segment and finally the emaciation of the fish. Histopathological and immunohistochemical inspection of the tumour cells displayed a high mitotic index, confirming malignancy.
