El presente recurso muestra la realización de una práctica de la asignatura Electrónica Industrial en formato de realidad virtual. El recurso de realidad virtual emula la posición de un alumno en un puesto de laboratorio y lo guía para resolver la práctica. Durante todo el recurso, al alumno se le muestra documentación en forma de imágenes y vídeos con los que se le guía en la realización de la práctica, de la misma forma en la que se haría en una práctica convencional. El objetivo del recurso no es otro que dar a los alumnos un material con el que poder repasar los conceptos prácticos de laboratorio desde casa. Algunos alumnos encuentran dificultades para identificar y asimilar el manejo de los aparatos debido al gran número de parámetros y configuraciones de que plantean. A esto se suma el hecho de que las prácticas se celebran en semanas alternas (cada dos semanas), lo que hace que transcurra bastante tiempo entre cada una de ellas. Debido a las restricciones por seguridad y de disponibilidad del laboratorio, es difícil para los alumnos el acudir a este para practicar fuera del horario lectivo. La práctica realizada en el recurso ha sido diseñada para incorporar la mayor variedad posible de situaciones de laboratorio que los alumnos podrían encontrar en las prácticas de la asignatura. La práctica se ha dividido en un total de 9 pasos, de forma que el alumno puede avanzar a un paso concreto en el caso de que desee estudiarlo o repasarlo de cara a una futura práctica presencial. El recurso está diseñado para ser disfrutado plenamente con el navegador en modo 360° con equipos de escritorio. Su visionado en dispositivos móviles es posible, pero el diseño de las operaciones de usuario previstas no lo aconseja. Su aplicación docente como recurso para ser integrado en la plataforma de e-learning de la US ( Blackboard Learn), también aconseja hacer un empleo plenamente operativo mediante equipos de sobremesa, ya que el acceso móvil a Blackboard Learn no es cómodo para el alumno.

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused problems all around the world. To control the spread of the virus, some governments have imposed restrictions on the mobility of their citizens. Specifically, in Spain, from the months of March to May, lockdown was imposed. The effect of these actions is reflected not only on epidemiological data, but also on the behavior of the population, and therefore, some of their sectors. One of these sectors is the energy consumption. In this sense, this paper studies the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on energy consumption using the data from the Smart Meters of the secondary distribution network at low-voltage. This approach has de advantage that is not only able to obtain the impact at aggregated level but is also able to obtain the impact on smaller groups at customer level. The results show an increase in energy consumption on residential customers in contrast with a remarkable reduction on non-residential customers. In the case of non-residential customers, different consumption patterns have been found during the pandemic. These consumption patterns are highly correlated with the restrictions imposed to control de spread of the pandemic. Electric power system is one of the most critical a nd strategic infrastructures of industrial societies. Nowadays, it is necessary the modernization and automation of the electric power grid to increase energy efficiency, reduce emissions, and transit to renewable energy. Power utilities face the challenge of using information and communication networks more effectively to manage the demand, generation, transmission, and distribution of their commodity services. Communication network constitutes the core of the electric system automation applications, the design of a cost-effective, and reliable network architecture is crucial. To resolve this difficulty in this work we study the integration of advanced artificial intelligence technology into existing network management system. This work focuses on an intelligent framework and a language for formalizing knowledge management descriptions and combining them with existing OSI management model. We have normalized the knowledge management base necessary to manage the current resources in the telecommunication networks. Intelligent agents learn the normal behaviour of each measurement variable and combine the intelligent knowledge for the management of the network resources. We present an analysis of corporate network management requirements and technologies, together with our implementation experience with the development of an integrated management system for a company network.

The increasing of the storage system capacity and the reduction of the access time have allowed the development of new technologies which have afforded solutions for the automatic treatment of great databases. In this chapter a methodology to create Enterprise Information Systems which are capable of using all information available about customers is proposed. As example of utilization of this methodology, an Enterprise Information System for classification of customer problems is proposed. This EIS implements several technologies. Data Warehousing and Data Mining are two technologies which can analyze automatically corporative databases. Integration of these two technologies is proposed by the present work together with a rule based expert system to classify the utility consumption through the information stored in corporative databases.

La Universidad de Sevilla, comprendiendo la necesidad de abordar un proyecto de renovación de las metodologías docentes, acorde con la consecución de las metas establecidas en el Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior, así como con la demanda ya solicitada por los profesores y estudiantes perteneciente a esta comunidad, ha abordado el desarrollo de un Plan de Renovación de las Metodologías Docentes, pionero en las Universidades Españolas, del que una parte esencial es la implantación de nuevas infraestructuras tecnológicas, con un carácter corporativo, que permitan la movilidad de los usuarios y la Enseñanza Virtual con las garantías de seguridad, privacidad, autenticación, gestión de la identidad y nuevas herramientas de comunicación para un aprendizaje cooperativo e interactivo. Además de abordar la descripción de dichas infraestructuras tecnológicas para la Enseñanza Virtual, algunas ya implantadas y ampliamente utilizadas durante el curso académico 2006/07, y otras en fase de evaluación y accesibles para este curso académico 2007/08, se describirán, a lo largo de este artículo, entre otros: el punto de inicio del proyecto y el tamaño de la comunidad a la que va dirigido, los proyectos previamente iniciados en determinados ámbitos de la Universidad, el plan de acción que se ha diseñado, el cómo se organiza la Enseñanza Virtual en nuestra comunidad, las medidas adoptadas para el soporte técnico y la relación de proyectos colaborativos futuros o ya iniciados como el Campus Andaluz Virtual en conjunto con las universidades andaluzas. The University of Sevilla, including the need to address a draft renewal of the teaching methodologies, consistent with the goals established in the European Higher Education Area, as well as the demand and requested by teachers and students belonging to this community, has tackled the development of a plan to renew the methodologies Teachers, a pioneer in the Spanish University, which is an essential part of installing new technology infrastructure, with a corporate nature, enabling user mobility and Teaching Virtual guarantees of security, privacy, authentication, identity management and new media tools for cooperative learning and interactive. In addition to addressing the description of such technological infrastructure for Virtual Education, some already introduced and widely used during the 2006/07 academic year, and others in evaluation and accessible for this academic year 2007/08, will be described, along of this article, among others: the starting point of the project and the size of the community it is addressed, the projects previously undertaken in certain areas of the University, the plan of action that is designed, how it organizes Virtual Teaching in our community, the steps taken to support and the relationship of future collaborative projects already started or as the Campus Virtual Andaluz together with the universities of Andalucia.
