2. Análisis de los parámetros de rendimiento del remo de Traineras: una revisión sistemática (Analysis of performance parameters of Traineras: a systematic review)

Objetivo: recopilar la información científica relacionada con parámetros fisiológicos, biomecánicos, antropométricos y de entrenamiento del deporte de traineras, comparar las investigaciones científicas que hay entre géneros y clasificar por temá-ticas la información. Métodos: Estudio de tipo revisión sistemática, en el cual se realizó una búsqueda sistemática en seis bases de datos (PudMed Central, PudMed, Web of Science, Scopus, DialnetPlus y Google Scholar). Después de analizar los estudios lo-grados con la ecuación de búsqueda, fue preciso considerar su utilidad y relevancia con respecto a la revisión. Resultados: tras el cribado y la evaluación metodológica correspondiente, 21 estudios cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión. Los resultados, muestran los artículos dirigidos a diferentes temáticas como fisiología, biomecánica, parámetros antropológicos y otras temáticas relacionadas con el rendimiento. El análisis de los participantes de los estudios muestra que dos de los estudios han tenido en cuenta en la participación deportistas femeninas. Conclusión: La literatura existente muestra el gran potencial de esta actividad para mejorar parámetros de capacidad condicionales de rendimiento. A su vez, la comparación de la muestra entre géneros afirma la escasa investigación que hay sobre el remo de traineras femenino y se detecta una carencia de los estudios de campo y situacio-nes de competición. Objective: to compile the scientific information related to physiological, biomechanical, anthropometric and training parameters of the sport of drifters, to compare the scientific research that exists between genders and to classify the information by subject matter. Methods: Systematic review type study, in which a systematic search was carried out in six databases (PudMed Central, PudMed, Web of Science, Scopus, DialnetPlus and Google Scholar). After analyzing the studies found with the search equation, it was necessary to consider their usefulness and relevance to the review. Results: after screening and the corresponding methodological evaluation, 21 studies met the inclusion criteria. The results show the articles addressed to different topics such as physiology, biomechanics, anthropological parameters and other performance-related topics. The analysis of the study participants shows that two of the studies have taken into account female athletes in the participation. Conclusion: The existing literature shows the great potential of this activity to improve performance conditional capacity parameters. In turn, the comparison of the sample between genders confirms the scant research that there is on women's rowing of drifters and a lack of field studies and competition situations is detected. As a result of botanical and lichenological expeditions in the Colombian Andean-Amazonian Piedmont, in the Brazilian Amazon, and in Veracruz, Mexico, a new species of Sulzbacheromyces was discovered and is here described based on morphological, anatomical, and molecular characters. S. leucodontium differs from other neotropical species in the genus by having white basidiomata and colonial algae in the thallus and represents the species with the widest distribution of the genus in the Americas, from Mexico to Brazil. In addition, the most complete phylogenetic reconstruction of the genus to date is presented as well as a key to the known species of Sulzbacheromyces in the Neotropics.

To assess the clinical and radiographic characteristics of hip joint deformities in children with congenital Zika syndrome (CZS), and the evolution of hip joint deformities in affected infants for the first three years of life.This prospective observational study evaluated orthopedic clinical examinations performed every 3 months to assess hip flexion and extension, lateral and medial rotation, abduction and adduction, as well as lower limb muscle length and tone. The biannual radiograph comprised anteroposterior panoramic pelvic radiographs with the lower limbs in extension. Percentage of migration was used as a radiographic study tool to measure and evaluate linear hip displacement.From November 2018 to March 2020, we followed 30 children with CZS, of which 15 (50%) had normal pelvic radiographs on admission; five (33.3%) developed hip displacement by the second radiograph exam. During follow up radiographic examinations, 20/30 (66.7%) children were diagnosed with hip displacement and/or dislocation of at least one side, and 10/30 (33.3%) remained normal. Among 30 affected patients, 13 (43.3%) had hip displacement on the right side and 9 (30%) on the left side. Logistic regression analysis revealed that spasticity (p=0.0033; OR=15.9) and ophthalmologic abnormalities (p=0.0163; OR=16.9) were associated with hip dislocation during follow up.Pelvic radiographic follow up for all children with CZS will complement physical examination, diagnosis, and monitoring for hip joint deformities.

Ángel Ferrant fue uno de los artistas más importantes del panorama artístico español del siglo XX, destacando también por su faceta pedagógica y su interés por la expresión gráfica infantil. Su estancia en Viena en 1927 y su visita a la Escuela del Mar de Barcelona en 1931, marcarán profundamente su visión educativa. Para comprender el impacto de los dibujos de los niños de la Escuela del Mar sobre Ferrant, se han revisado sus textos y su colección de dibujos de la escuela custodiados en el Fondo Ferrant del Museo Patio Herreriano; los contenidos y los dibujos de la revista escolar Garbí, así como otros escritos del crítico Sebastián Gasch y del director de la Escuela, Pablo Vergés. En este estudio se ha empleado el método de comparación constante de la Teoría Emergente de los Datos. Los dibujos infantiles de la Escuela del Mar poseen un estilo propio, caracterizado por la espontaneidad de los trazos y por las ingeniosas soluciones empleadas por los niños, fruto de la influencia de las corrientes de renovación pedagógica. Permiten, además, conocer la España del momento a través de la mirada infantil y apreciar la vinculación de este lenguaje gráfico con el trabajo de Ferrant.

La situación que estamos viviendo en la sociedad del siglo XXI nos obliga a reflexionar sobre la decadencia moral y la práctica de antivalores en el comportamiento de las personas y como sus acciones inciden negativamente en las relaciones familiares, sociales y laborales, al grado de acentuarse cada día más haciendo cuesta arriba la lucha contra grandes desafíos como la discriminación, la desigualdad, la corrupción y la pobreza extrema. Consecuentemente han surgido iniciativas a nivel global enmarcadas en los objetivos de desarrollo sostenible (ODS) formalizados e impulsados por la Organización de las Naciones Unidas (ONU), los cuales sirven de base para la creación de estrategias públicas en los países y sectores empresariales privados con los que se pueda dar respuesta a la consecución de estos objetivos trazados al 2030. Es muy satisfactorio presentar las formas como una empresa bien administrada puede cambiar la vida de las personas que participan en ella, sus propietarios, colaboradores, proveedores directos e indirectos y también generar impactos positivos en la sociedad en su lucha contra los grandes retos mencionados anteriormente.

14. Anti-Inflammatory Activity Evaluation of the Extract and Topical Pre-Formulation of Morus nigra Fruits

- Abstract
Natural products are often a source for bioactive compounds which have great potential for developing novel therapeutic agents. In this sense, the present study aimed to formulate and evaluate a gel containing Morus nigra leaf extract and to evaluate its anti-inflammatory (in-vivo) and antioxidant (in-vitro) activity. The anti-inflammatory activity was evaluated using Carrageenan-induced paw oedema. The antioxidant activity is evaluated by the lipid peroxidation inhibition and DPPH radical scavenging method. The results indicated that the extract (oral and topical route) and the blackberry gel (topical route) produced a significant anti-inflammatory activity (p < 0.05) compared to the untreated control, and similar to the reference drugs (ibuprofen and diclofenac). Regarding antioxidant activity, the Morus nigra extract also showed a significant activity in the tested models. Based on the above observations and results, mora gel formulation was found to be a promising anti-inflammatory formulation and further extensive in-vitro and in-vivo studies are warranted to evaluate its safety and biological potency and which may be useful for further clinical applications.

15. Clinical profile and quality of life scores in Chronic Hypoparathyroidism: a transversal retrospective study

Introduction: In patients with hypoparathyroidism, conventional therapy maintains parathyroid hormone (PTH)-dependent mineral metabolism homeostasis but is unable to prevent emergence of comorbidities and low quality of life. Objectives: To evaluate long-term progression of patients with hypoparathyroidism receiving conventional therapy and their quality of life compared with patients with primary hypothyroidism and healthy controls. Design and Setting: Retrospective cohort study for quality-of-life analysis and transversal cut on clinical profile. Patients with hypoparathyroidism from four public referral centers in endocrinology and bone metabolism in the metropolitan region of Rio de Janeiro. Material and Methods: Quality of life by SF-36 protocol, and clinical profile by medical record analysis. Results: 243 individuals with hypoparathyroidism (n=113), hypothyroidism (n=65), and healthy controls (n=65) included. Median time since diagnosis and duration of conventional therapy was 8 years (IQR 4–17 years). Data on type of conventional therapy (median, minimum–maximum daily dose, percentage of patients with hypoparathyroidism using each medication): calcium supplementation (2000 mg/day, 200–6000 mg/day, 95%), cholecalciferol (2000 IU/day, 200–40000 IU/day, 44%), calcitriol (0.5 μg/day, 0.25–2 μg/day, 77%), thiazides (25 mg/day, 12.5–100 mg/day, 44%). Conclusions: Conventional therapy is associated with homeostasis of serum mineral levels, but not with improved quality of life. Compared to patients with hypothyroidism, those with additional hypoparathyroidism had lower scores in six SF-36 domains. Conventional therapy successfully maintained normal calcium levels with often high doses of calcium, vitamin D, and thiazides but could not prevent low quality of life scores and comorbidities.

Item does not contain fulltext The projected increase in life expectancy over the next few decades is expected to result in a rise in age-related diseases, including cancer. Head and neck cancer (HNC) is a worldwide health problem with high rates of morbidity and mortality. In this report, we have critically reviewed the literature reporting the management of older patients with HNC. Older adults are more prone to complications and toxicities secondary to HNC treatment, especially those patients who are frail or have comorbidities. Thus, this population should be screened prior to treatment for such predispositions to maximize medical management of comorbidities. Chronologic age itself is not a reason for choosing less intensive treatment for older HNC patients. Whenever possible, also older patients should be treated according to the best standard of care, as nonstandard approaches may result in increased treatment failure rates and mortality. The treatment plan is best established by a multidisciplinary tumor board with shared decision-making with patients and family. Treatment modifications should be considered for those patients who have severe comorbidities, evidence of frailty (low performance status), or low performance status or those who refuse the recommendations of the tumor board.

En edades de iniciación escolar sin importancia del sexo, el desarrollo cognitivo no limita el nivel de habilidades motrices básica como son sentido de equilibrio, la locomoción y la manipulación. Objetivo: En el presente trabajo investigativo se analizó la relación existente entre el nivel de desarrollo cognitivo y el nivel de las habilidades motrices básicas en escolares de la Unidad Educativa Oxford de la ciudad de Ambato, durante el periodo abril–agosto de 2021. Metodología: Se trata de una investigación cuantitativa, no experimental de alcance correlacional con método un método de investigación hipotético-deductivo. Para la recolección de datos se utilizaron dos instrumentos que permitieron medir cada una de las variables en una muestra de estudio de 18 escolares perteneciente a la Unidad educativa de la ciudad Ambato. Resultados: Los resultados de la investigación fueron comprobados a través de la prueba Chi-cuadrado con diferenciación asintótica bilateral en un nivel de P≥ 0.05 dando como resultado un valor estadístico no significativo en el nivel de relación entre las variables estudiadas. Conclusión: Se concluye que el nivel de desarrollo cognitivo en estas edades sin importancia del sexo del escolar no se relaciona con el nivel de habilidades motrices básicas.

20. The need for risk stratification in type 2 diabetes and chronic kidney disease: Proposed clinical value of KidneyIntelX

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) develops in > 40% of people living with diabetes and affects > 7 million people in the United States. Of the 15 million individuals with type 2 diabetes and CKD in the United States, > 90% are in the “early stages of CKD” (stages G1–G3). Standard risk stratification tools for progression of kidney disease have limitations, and lack precision at an individual level. Individualized risk tools, such as KidneyIntelX™, that incorporate well-validated prognostic protein biomarkers integrated with key clinical variables and are integrated into the electronic health record (EHR) can help address these challenges. KidneyIntelX can identify patients earlier in their disease course when intervention would be most impactful. Herein, 4 case studies are presented to demonstrate how 3 different physicians utilized KidneyIntelX to make clinical decisions and optimize the management of patients with type 2 diabetes and CKD.

Pharmacovigilance is a scientific discipline that has changed a lot in recent years and is of great social importance. The case of the so-called sulfonamide elixir showed society the importance of this discipline. Since then, pharmacovigilance has evolved into a scientific discipline with a strong social character. In this paper, a historical review is made of several paradigmatic examples of this discipline to reflect on what pharmacovigilance could be like finally. We conclude that this discipline could be more closely related to other areas of the social sciences, which would help to promote a more democratic social environment taking into account the needs of individuals and social groups.

23. Citric Acid as an Alternative to Sulfuric Acid for Hard Anodizing in Aluminum Alloys Used in the Aeronautical Industry

In the aircraft industry, Al-Cu alloys are widely used as a structural material in the manufacture of commercial aircraft due to their high mechanical properties and low density. Al-Cu alloy have low resistance to corrosion in aggressive substances; as a result, these alloys are surface treated to increase their resistance to corrosion. Anodizing was done hard in aluminum alloy AA 2024 in a solution composed of citric and sulfuric acid for 60 minutes with constant agitation using current densities of 3 and 4.5 A/dm2. Afterwards, a sealing procedure was performed for 60 minutes in water at 95 °C. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was used to characterize the microstructure and Vickers microhardness (HV) as a mechanical test of the material. The electrochemical evaluation was carried out using cyclic potentiodynamic polarization curves (CPP). The results indicate that the corrosion resistance in citric acid solutions with a current density of 4.5 A/dm2 was the best, with corrosion current densities of 2 x 10-8 and 2 x 10-9 A/cm2.

La práctica de ejercicio físico ha sido asociada a un menor riesgo de desarrollo y recurrencia del cáncer. Asimismo, estudios previos sugieren que el ejercicio es eficaz para reducir el riesgo de desarrollar alteraciones metabólicas. Por lo tanto, esta investigación pretende evaluar los efectos de un programa de ejercicio combinado de 12 semanas sobre la reducción de los niveles de hemoglobina glicada (HbA1c) en pacientes con cáncer. Para ello, 22 pacientes no diabéticos fueron asignados aleatoriamente a una intervención de ejercicio combinado de 12 semanas o al grupo control. Se realizaron evaluaciones iniciales y a los 3 meses para valorar los cambios en los niveles de HbA1c, la grasa y la masa musculoesquelética de los 22 participantes que completaron el estudio. Analizando la muestra hubo mejoras significativas en los niveles de HbA1c (p=0,033). Además, cuando se excluyeron los mayores de 65 años, las diferencias fueron mayores (p=0,017). Aunque no se encontraron diferencias significativas entre las reducciones de los sujetos con diferentes niveles basales de HbA1c, los que tenían niveles más altos redujeron los valores en un 6,8% y los que tenían niveles normales en un 3,6%. Además, no se encontró ninguna correlación entre las reducciones de la HbA1c y los cambios en la composición corporal. Esta intervención de ejercicio combinado de 12 semanas dio lugar a una reducción de los niveles de HbA1c, pero este cambio no se asoció con los cambios en la composición corporal. Exercise has been associated with lower risk of cancer development and recurrence. Studies suggest that exercise is effective in reducing the risk of developing metabolic alterations. Due to the inconclusive results of previous studies, this research aims to evaluate the effects of a 12-week concurrent exercise programme on the reduction of glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) levels in cancer patients. 22 non-diabetic patients were randomly assigned to a 12-week combined exercise intervention or to the control group. Baseline and 3-month assessments were performed to evaluate changes in HbA1c, fat and musculoskeletal mass for the 22 participants who completed the study. Analyzing the sample there were significant improvements in HbA1c (p=0.033), when excluding those over 65 years of age, the differences were greater (p=0.017). Although no significant differences were found between the reductions of subjects with different baseline HbA1c levels, those with higher levels reduced values by 6.8% and those with normal levels by 3.6%. Furthermore, no correlation was found between reductions in HbA1c and changes in body composition. This 12-week combined exercise intervention resulted in a reduction in HbA1c levels, but this change was not associated with changes in body composition. La comunicación familiar representa un ente fundamental en el desarrollo emocional, conductual y psicológico en la etapa de la adolescencia, por consiguiente, se muestra como factor influyente para el desarrollo óptimo del bienestar psicológico (BP). La investigación busca determinar la relación entre la comunicación familiar y el bienestar psicológico en estudiantes de bachillerato. Se trató de un estudio cuantitativo no experimental, de corte transversal, y con un alcance descriptivo-correlacional. Los datos recolectados pertenecen a 219 estudiantes, cuyas edades oscilan entre 14 y 18 años, con una media de 15.9, de una unidad educativa de la ciudad de Ambato-Ecuador, a quienes se les administró la Escala de Comunicación familiar de Olson y la Escala de Bienestar Psicológico (BIEPS-J). Resumen Introduccion Las enfermedades infecciosas pueden beneficiarse de la aplicacion de la telemedicina (TM). Este estudio realiza una descripcion de las enfermedades infecciosas atendidas por el Servicio de Telemedicina del Hospital Central de la Defensa Gomez Ulla (STM-HCDGU). Metodos Analisis de las e-consultas realizadas por miembros de las Fuerzas Armadas de Espana desplazados a zona de operaciones en el periodo comprendido entre el 1 de enero del 2015 y el 31 de diciembre del 2018 que desarrollaron sintomatologia infecciosa. Resultados Se diagnosticaron 127 enfermedades infecciosas, siendo las mas frecuentes las de etiologia respiratoria y posteriormente la malaria. Geograficamente, Africa y los contingentes embarcados fueron los mas significados. Fue necesario evacuar a 18 pacientes al HCDGU, siendo el diagnostico de malaria el motivo de evacuacion mas frecuente, causa del unico caso mortal. Conclusiones Las enfermedades infecciosas se benefician de la aplicacion de la TM, siendo una herramienta importante para el diagnostico y tratamiento de estas, constituyendo una oportunidad para ampliar a otras poblaciones desplazadas o remotas.

The paper introduces a straightforward procedure for estimating the electrical parameters of a simple, but reasonably accurate, two-branches model of a supercapacitor (SC). The equivalent electrical circuit model includes the voltage and frequency dependence on the SC’s capacitance, neglecting the self-discharge phenomenon, so it is mainly devoted to short and mid-term simulations suitable for most industrial applications. The estimation procedure of the electrical parameters starts by analysing the experimental data achieved by a common constant-current discharge test. Such data are used to build a fitting function which is compared with the analytical solution and numerical approximations for the SC’s voltage evolution. Thus, initial estimated values of the electrical parameters are obtained through simple relations and are optimised by implementing the least squares method. The procedure is validated after an easy and fast extraction of the optimal parameters of the two-branches model of an SC. Several tests involving a commercial SC have been carried out in Simulink and the results have been compared against experimental data. A good accuracy of the two-branches model in a wide range of constant-current charging/discharging cycles is reported.

34. Renal Autologous Cell Therapy in Type 2 Diabetes with Late Stage 4 Diabetes-Related Chronic Kidney Disease: Trial Design and Early Analysis

Introduction: Cell-based therapies potentially delay the trajectory toward end-stage kidney disease (ESKD) in late stage 4 diabetic chronic kidney disease (DKD). We describe the trial design, baseline patient characteristics, and early results of an IRB-approved phase II multicenter clinical trial, utilizing Renal Autologous Cell Therapy (REACT) in adults with pre-ESKD due to type 2 DKD. The trial objectives were safety and tolerability of REACT by assessment of the procedure, product administration, and renal-specific adverse events in addition to evaluate the impact on renal function following injection. Methods: Ten adults with an eGFR of 14–20 mL/min/1.73 m2 were enrolled in a single-arm open-label trial. Following a percutaneous kidney biopsy, an ex vivo expansion of selected renal cells that form the REACT was injected into the cortex of the biopsied kidney with CT image guidance. Each participant received two doses of the REACT product at 6-month intervals. A 6-month observation pre-trial was required to establish patients’ “own” baseline and rate of DKD progression. Results: Five men and 5 women underwent 19 REACT injections (1 participant received only one injection). Their baseline characteristics were as follows: 3 Hispanic/Latino, 7 non-Hispanic, 7 white; mean (SD) age: 58.9 years (5.22), BMI 35.8 (8.2), eGFR (sCR) 15.5 (2.72), eGFR (sCR + Cys-C) 17.7 (3.67) mL/min/1.73 m2, sCr 3.6 mg/mL (0.73), Cys-C 2.6 mg/mL (0.52), and log random UACR 7.9 mg/g (1.01). The pre- and post-injection eGFR slope was −6.5 mL/min/1.73 m2 and −3.9 mL/min/1.73 m2. No cell-related adverse events occurred, and two procedure-related hematomas required observation without transfusion or angiographic interventions. Dialysis was delayed a mean of 16 months (range 6–28 months). At 15 months, 2 patients (20%) have eGFR slope stability and have not commenced renal replacement therapy. Conclusion: Trials that include patients with an eGFR of 2 are uncommon, and none to date involve autologous homologous cell-based treatments. REACT has the potential to stabilize or delay dialysis in high-risk late stage 4 DKD.

El objetivo de este trabajo fue estimar la generación y composición de residuos sólidos de las Colonias y Secciones del Municipio de Papalotla de Xicohténcatl, Tlaxcala; con la finalidad de generar información pertinente para la elaboración de planes y manejo de residuos sólidos en la zona de estudio. Los muestreos se realizaron del 22 al 29 de abril del 2019, en tres Colonias seleccionadas al azar (El Potrero, Xilotzinco y San Buenaventura). La estimación de la generación se realizó empleando el procedimiento descrito en la NMX-AA-61, con modificaciones en el muestreo, ya que se utilizaron los camiones recolectores de basura del área de Servicios Municipales. La caracterización se realizó de acuerdo con la NMX-AA-15-1985, que establece el método de cuarteo para residuos sólidos municipales. Con los valores promedio de la generación per cápita, se estimó la generación para el resto de las colonias para diferentes periodos de tiempo, de igual forma se procedió con los datos de composición de residuos sólidos. Los resultados mostraron que Papalotla, Tlaxcala se generan diariamente 44.3 toneladas de residuos, de los cuales 41% son materiales orgánicos, 20% plásticos, 14 % material biológico infeccioso, 12% cartón y papel, 7.5% vidrio y el resto metales.

El objetivo general de esta investigación es conocer cuáles son los valores fundamentales para que la gestión empresarial en Honduras y sus implicaciones en la sociedad hondureña, particularmente en la región del Valle de Sula. Se tomó como muestra la aplicación de cuestionario a un grupo de 12 empresas medianas y grandes y la información fue proporcionada mediante entrevistas a sus representantes. Como procedimiento metodológico se abordaron tres ejes primordiales: valores individuales para una adecuada dirección en las empresas, valores empresariales que guían las operaciones y nivel de incidencia positiva de la práctica de los valores. Esta investigación descriptiva tiene un enfoque mixto por la manera en que se abordan las opiniones de los expertos y la obtención de los datos. El método para la comprobación de las hipótesis es de tipo exploratorio, estableciendo líneas de acción que permitieron conocer algunos elementos en las variables para que los resultados tuvieran niveles óptimos de credibilidad. Esta investigación con diseño exploratorio es enfocada al grupo de interés, con una visión general de la realidad investigada, teniendo un alcance descriptivo al documentar la percepción por el objeto de estudio, mezclando enfoques cualitativos y cuantitativos en la recolección y manejo de la información.

38. Riesgos laborales y variables económicas en la secuenciación de manufactura de 'bienes no estandarizados'

Introducción. En el presente documento, se evalúa el comportamiento de los siguientes factores sociales y económicos de sostenibilidad: proporción “no conforme” generada por la fatiga del trabajador, nivel de intensidad del sonido, penalización del nivel de iluminación, tiempo de procesamiento (makespan) y costos directos de personal. Objetivo. En este sentido, se busca lograr la gestión equilibrada a nivel multiobjetivo de los mencionados factores de sostenibilidad, al momento de llevarse a cabo la secuenciación de un proceso de manufactura de “bienes no estandarizados”. Materiales y Métodos. Es así como, se desarrollan y comparan dos metodologías multiobjetivo. La primera hace referencia a un algoritmo híbrido; mientras que la segunda corresponde a un algoritmo fundamentado en la determinación de sumas ponderadas. Resultados. Al cotejar los valores mínimos detectados en relación con los diversos factores de interés, se encuentra que tales valores son representativamente menores, cuando se compara el “primer método” respecto al “segundo método”. Igualmente, desde la perspectiva del parámetro C-Metric, el “método híbrido” obtiene un valor que aventaja en 567 % el rendimiento del “método de sumas ponderadas”. En cuanto a lo anterior, el primer método, presenta la habilidad de hallar una alta diversidad de soluciones “no dominadas”. Conclusiones. Dado el caso que se otorgue prioridad a la implementación de tiempos de proceso pequeños, es indispensable complementar tal decisión con criterios de carácter social, buscando que se garantice la reducción de la exposición a determinados riesgos laborales. Adicionalmente, el presente estudio debe integrar a futuro conceptos propios de la dinámica de sistemas.

El objetivo general de esta investigación es conocer cuáles son las implicaciones en las empresas hondureñas en relación al auge e irrupción tecnológica, situación que implica a la llamada economía colaborativa o consumo colaborativo en el país. En seguimiento al análisis cuantitativo surgido del diagnóstico realizado en el macro proyecto de investigación del uso de las TIC como factor de desarrollo (IIES) en 2020, donde la información fue proporcionada en un cuestionario a distintas organizaciones con un diseño de tipo muestreo aleatorio simple, estilo bola de nieve, con un alcance nacional de 167 empresas, situación que ha llevado a la reflexión de lo que está pasando en el país y su transformación digital e inserción en la economía colaborativa. El método para la comprobación de las hipótesis es de tipo exploratorio, estableciendo líneas de acción que permitieron conocer algunos elementos en las variables para que los resultados tuvieran niveles óptimos de validez. La investigación con diseño exploratorio es enfocada al grupo de interés, con una visión general de la realidad investigada, teniendo un alcance descriptivo al documentar la percepción por el objeto de estudio, mezclando enfoques cualitativos y cuantitativos en la recolección y manejo de la información.

Introduction Acute kidney injury (AKI) has been identified as one of the most common and significant problems in hospitalized patients with COVID-19. However, studies examining the relationship between COVID-19 and AKI in low- and low-middle income countries (LLMIC) are lacking. Given that AKI is known to carry a higher mortality rate in these countries, it is important to understand differences in this population. Methods This prospective, observational study examines the AKI incidence and characteristics of 32,210 patients with COVID-19 from 49 countries across all income levels who were admitted to an intensive care unit during their hospital stay. Results Among patients with COVID-19 admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU), AKI incidence was highest in patients in LLMIC, followed by patients in upper-middle income countries (UMIC) and high-income countries (HIC) (53%, 38%, and 30%, respectively), whereas dialysis rates were lowest among patients with AKI from LLMIC and highest among those from HIC (27% vs. 45%). Patients with AKI in LLMIC had the largest proportion of community-acquired AKI (CA-AKI) and highest rate of in-hospital death (79% vs. 54% in HIC and 66% in UMIC). The association between AKI, being from LLMIC and in-hospital death persisted even after adjusting for disease severity. Conclusions AKI is a particularly devastating complication of COVID-19 among patients from poorer nations where the gaps in accessibility and quality of healthcare delivery have a major impact on patient outcomes.

- Abstract
It is based on the application of a valid cost management system that helps to detect the problems that have been occurring in the past, in order to facilitate the analysis of each item of its elements involved in the management of the processes. To design a costing system that helps to strengthen the economic and financial liquidity of the companies. Convenience sampling is a non-probabilistic sampling technique where the samples of the population are selected only because they are conveniently available to the researcher. According to some texts analyzed and researched, it was possible to determine that not all scholars and specialists on the subject agree with the same concepts regarding the classification of the types of research, after much research and exploration it was concluded that this type of research will be carried out in a consensual way in a descriptive and explanatory way.

The development of new chemical synthetic methodologies that transform industrial chemical processes into more sustainable ones, constitutes one of the challenges and objectives of chemical research both in academia and in industry. The use of activated carbons as heterogeneous catalysts represents one of the most beneficial options for process efficiency in terms of reaction rate, yield, and ease of work-up. We have produced six new activated carbons by treatment of three affordable commercial carbons with either nitric acid, or with sulfuric acid. The complete characterization of these nine activated carbons has been carried out through the measurement of nitrogen adsorption capacity, porosimetry, elemental organic analysis, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy and determination of the point of zero charge; transmission electron microscopy was also performed on two of them. The catalytic activity of these nine catalysts has been tested in the acetylation reaction of hydroxyl groups, undoubtedly one of the most versatile and widely used chemical transformations both at the laboratory and industrial scale. The results show that by means of a simple and affordable modification of commercial xerogel with sulfuric acid, a more efficient catalyst is formed. Acetylation with the best catalyst is completed in 90 min at room temperature and the product is easily isolated in quantitative yield. The system can be reutilized for five runs with only a small loss of catalytic activity.

BackgroundIn the NEAT022 trial, virologically suppressed persons with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) at high cardiovascular risk switching from protease inhibitors to dolutegravir either immediately (DTG-I) or after 48 weeks (DTG-D) showed noninferior virological suppression and significant lipid and cardiovascular disease risk reductions on switching to dolutegravir relative to continuing protease inhibitors.MethodsIn post hoc analysis, major endpoints were 48-week and 96-week weight and body mass index (BMI) changes. Factors associated with weight/BMI changes within the first 48 weeks of DTG exposure, proportion of participants by category of percentage weight change, proportions of BMI categories over time, and impact on metabolic outcomes were also assessed.ResultsBetween May 2014 and November 2015, 204 (DTG-I) and 208 (DTG-D) participants were included. Weight significantly increased (mean, +0.810 kg DTG-I arm, and +0.979 kg DTG-D arm) in the first 48 weeks postswitch, but remained stable from 48 to 96 weeks in DTG-I arm. Switching from darunavir, White race, total to high-density lipoprotein cholesterol ratio ConclusionsSwitching from protease inhibitors to dolutegravir in persons with HIV with high cardiovascular risk led to modest weight gain limited to the first 48 weeks, which involved preferentially normal-weight or underweight persons and was not associated with negative metabolic outcomes.Clinical Trials RegistrationNCT02098837 and EudraCT 2013-003704-39.

47. Talleres de expresión corporal en Educación Primaria: una experiencia de Aprendizaje-Servicio

- Abstract
Este trabajo surge de la detección de las necesidades de un centro de Educación Primaria en el que se ofertan dos talleres de expresión corporal realizados a través de la metodología Aprendizaje-Servicio. El objetivo principal de este trabajo es tomar conciencia de las oportunidades educativas que puede aportar el Aprendizaje-Servicio, tanto para el alumnado universitario como para una comunidad del entorno, y constatar las principales barreras y factores facilitadores para el desarrollo de estas propuestas. Para ello, dos alumnas del Grado de Educación Primaria, mención Educación Física, diseñaron talleres de Expresión Corporal vinculados a su Trabajo de Fin de Grado para alumnado de 1.º a 6.º de Educación Primaria con dificultades económicas para acceder a las actividades extraescolares. Para recoger información, se utilizaron narraciones etnográficas e instrumentos de evaluación de los talleres, y cuestionarios de satisfacción para el equipo directivo y el alumnado universitario. Los resultados muestran que la experiencia gozó de buena acogida por parte de todas las personas implicadas en el proyecto, tanto la dirección del centro escolar como su alumnado, y se valoró como una iniciativa necesaria.

48. Efecto de tres aditivos y/o sustitutos del cemento portland, en las propiedades de blocks de concreto (vibro-compactados)

- Abstract
Se realizó un estudio del efecto de 3 sustitutos del cemento portland en la densidad relativa, la resistencia a la compresión y la absorción inicial (capilaridad), en blocks de concreto vibrocompactados. El cemento Portland es sustituido por tres diferentes constituyentes de la mezcla, en diferentes proporciones: a) 10% por ceniza volante, b) por 30% de cemento Impercem®, y c) el uso de un aditivo auto-curable. Los resultados indican que la ceniza volante, proporcionan un beneficio de resistencia a la compresión, sin embargo, los valores de absorción son inferiores a la norma. Adicionalmente, se realiza la caracterización de los materiales de partida por diferentes técnicas, Microscopia Electrónica de Barrido (MEB) y Difracción de Rayos X (DRX). Todas las medias físicas se efectúan en el marco de la normativa ONNCCE.

O caráter devastador da necropolítica (MBEMBE, 2016) adotada pelo governo de Jair Messias Bolsonaro, do Partido Liberal (PL), vem minando a (re) existência da classe trabalhadora e atinge as mais distintas esferas socioespaciais. Nos campos, nas águas e nas florestas, diversas são as formas de violência e inúmeros são os ataques às comunidades camponesas, indígenas, quilombolas e outros povos tradicionais, evidenciando um conjunto orquestrado, deliberado e impositivo de mudanças cruéis e regimentadas por uma agenda ultraneoliberal, revigorada no Brasil com o golpe contra ex-presidenta Dilma Rousseff em 2016. Diversos foram os retrocessos no âmbito da institucionalidade das políticas públicas voltadas ao campo para a agricultura camponesa e para os territórios de reforma agrária e quilombolas. Os direitos sociais dos (as) trabalhadores (as) rurais, que além de serem conquistas pontuais e tardias, estão cada vez mais ameaçados, sendo a fome e a pobreza uma realidade latente e reveladora da atual configuração da questão agrária brasileira. Não temos dúvida de que também no Brasil existe um governo populista e de extrema direita com fortes raízes agrárias (SCOONES et al., 2022), haja vista os incontestes apoios que recebe de grande parcela do agronegócio, dos grileiros, dos garimpeiros, das mineradoras e dos madeireiros. Faz parte de seus objetivos não apenas a invisibilização de modos de produção e vida que se contraponham ao agronegócio, como também o seu desaparecimento. Ou seja, se em contextos de exacerbação do neoliberalismo, a invisibilidade da produção familiar foi um duro golpe naqueles (as) que anseiam por um campo mais justo e saudável, na atualidade, o que vivemos/temos, é muito pior. Instado por um anseio de eliminação daqueles (as) que pensam e agem diferente do que é previsto e propagado por sua base, o atual governo brasileiro atua em favor da anulação física e simbólica de camponeses e dos povos originários e tradicionais, ribeirinhos (as), quilombolas, extrativistas etc. A ascensão da hegemonia política dessa direita populista, autoritária e fascista no Brasil, desde então, faz com que o processo de luta pela terra seja cada vez mais árduo, travejado por disputas e conflitos, necessitando a reinvenção e a renovação de instrumentos e estratégias contra-hegemônicas. Potencializada pela pandemia de Covid-19, iniciada em Março de 2020, a redução de direitos, renda, emprego e liberdade colocadas à essas populações tornam-nas ainda mais vulneráveis, intensificando os atos de desrespeito e violência contra os (as) trabalhadores (as) do campo, em assentamentos rurais, acampamentos, quilombos, junto às mulheres, à população LGBTQIA+ e aos territórios indígenas e tradicionais em todo o país. Esse cenário é marcado por um profundo desinteresse na vida dos camponeses (as), quilombolas, indígenas, ribeirinhos etc., especialmente colocando no horizonte a possibilidade de eliminação física dos adversários. Aos poucos, a estética da narrativa construída levou os sujeitos organizados, insubordinados e resistentes à razão neoliberal a se tornarem muito mais do que simples adversários políticos, transformando homens e mulheres em inimigos do desenvolvimento nacional. Mesmo nesse cenário de crescente medo e tensão, as ações desses sujeitos têm auxiliado a garantia de direitos básicos a diversos grupos, especialmente no combate à fome, através, por exemplo, da promoção do acesso a alimentos agroecológicos. Isso situa que apesar do agronegócio dinamizar a definição do alimento-mercadoria, a solidariedade de movimentos camponeses pontua por um outro caminho, o do alimento-bem comum. Mas essa realidade ainda é reveladora de outro fato curioso acerca dos movimentos camponeses, indígenas, quilombolas, ribeirinhos etc. no Brasil. Mesmo diante da necessidade do isolamento social durante a pandemia de Covid-19, os movimentos populares da esquerda não conseguiram cumprir o isolamento porque tiveram que seguir e ampliar suas lutas devido ao crescimento da pauta da saúde, mas também assumiram a responsabilidade por, através de ações solidárias classistas, alimentar a classe trabalhadora Diante dessa problemática, a proposta deste Dossiê é apresentar aos leitores estudos comprometidos e críticos que sejam capazes de estimular diálogos, pensamentos, conhecimentos, concepções, práticas e experiências multidisciplinares de ordem contestadora e emancipatória, com ênfase em análises investigativas que provoquem a reflexão sobre a questão agrária no país, sobretudo no que diz respeito ao processo de lutas, enfrentamentos e resistências pela/na terra no contexto de Covid-19 desde 2020.
