Partindo-se da análise de um corpus oral de narrativas de vida de soldados portugueses mobilizados para as campanhas militares do “Ultramar” durante os anos de 1969 e de 1974, o presente artigo visa constituir-se como um exercício reflexivo sobre a experiência de guerra, encarada como uma construção coletivamente partilhada. Procura-se perceber, mais em detalhe, não só o lugar do corpo na forma como se apropriou a experiência militar e de guerra, como também verificar quais os efeitos das tensões e deslocações de tais experiências nos antigos combatentes da Guerra Colonial Portuguesa. O presente trabalho irá incidir, mais especificamente, na objetivação das disposições e das práticas discursivas de construção da memória e da representação do corpo dos locutores destas narrativas, reconstituindo-se linguisticamente os processos de acumulação ativa das suas experiências em matéria de domesticação e as marcas linguísticas que denotam o “envolvimento conversacional” (Gumperz, 1982) através da análise linguístico-discursiva dos intensificadores e mitigadores do discurso e do uso de lexemas que expressam a emoção na interação. Apollonio Bianchi fu un frate minore capace di arringare le folle con pirotecnici falò delle vanità e – al contempo – comporre orazioni, trattati e lettere secondo i canoni della retorica umanistica, rivolgendosi così a principi e cardinali secondo le forme più qualificanti dell’epoca. Questa ibrida e consapevole identificazione culturale (espressa attraverso l’adesione a modelli e pratiche discorsive) risulta preziosa per delineare, concretamente, lo sfaccettato e complesso rapporto tra Osservanze e umanesimo. Nel Libellus de vite pauperis prestantia (1441-1444), Apollonio propone una conciliazione tra i due movimenti, indicando nell’oratore osservante il frutto maturo di un Ordine magnificato come dimora dei litterarum studia. Espresso in forme umanistiche, questo manifesto di autocoscienza minoritica si inseriva nel contemporaneo dibattito sul ruolo degli studi nell’Osservanza. Infine, le miscellanee umanistiche, copiate e diffuse anche fuori dall’Italia, affiancano Apollonio ai maggiori autori dell’epoca, mostrando come egli fu effettivamente percepito come parte di una più vasta respublica litterarum. Apollonio Bianchi was a Franciscan friar able to address the crowds with spectacular bonfires of vanities while, at the same time, he wrote orations, treatises, and letters following the rules of the humanistic rhetoric, addressing princes and cardinals in the most qualifying forms of the time. His hybrid and conscious cultural identification (expressed by adopting models and discursive practices) is ideal to investigate the multifaceted and complex relationship between Observance and humanism. In his Libellus de vite pauperis prestantia (1441-1444), Apollonio suggests a conciliation between the two movements by presenting the Observant preacher as the mature outcome of a religious order exalted as home of the litterarum studia. Expressed in humanist forms, this manifesto of a Franciscan self-awareness was part of the larger debate on the role of learning within the Observance. By situating Apollonio alongside the main authors of his time, the humanist miscellanies, copied and disseminated also outside Italy, show that he was actually perceived as part of the broader respublica litterarum.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the discourse. And this study examined oral and written text analysis, used to exploit expansive resources. One of the goals of this article is about how to study literary development and analyze discourse. Discourse analysis is one of the new approaches or methods that attract the attention of researchers to examine the relationship between the superstructure and social issues. This is criticized for several reasons, first because political and social ideology is projected onto data and not realized through data, secondly because there is an unequal equilibrium between social theory and linguistic methods, and the third because discourse is taken from the social context and the fourth because its methodology is not systematic.Keywords: Critical Linguists (CL), Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA), Discursive Practices, Educational Policies, Semiotics.

In the contemporary international scholarly community cultural memory related to the First World War as a research field and subject area is extensively problematized and studied by social sciences and humanities. Based on the available surveyed scholarly production, it is evident that Croatian cultural memory of the First World War is an under-researched subject. This paper therefore presents preliminary findings of conducted qualitative sociological research into the development of the post-First World War cultural memory in Croatia in the interwar period. The research provides an insight into how Croatian disabled war veterans (de)constructed post-war cultural memory inside a newly formed multiethnic state of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes (the Kingdom of Yugoslavia), and to which extent it was connected to national and ethnic. The discourse and discursive practices developed by Croatian disabled war veterans are analyzed in selected newspapers (Nezavisnost, Hrvatski invalid, Ratni invalid, Vojni invalid) published in the period 1920–1924. The article uses post-modernist sociological fallibilistic Foucauldian methodology of discourse analysis and Foucault’s understanding of modernist societies, which is based on the research into how the language appropriates specific discourses developed by certain groups in addition to the prevalent discursive practices. Both methodology and theory are used to explain the findings in the framework of what Wolfgang Schivelbusch calls ‘culture of defeat’. The research concludes that difficult post-war political, social and economic circumstances profoundly shaped the way in which the collective memory of the First World War was (de)constructed by post-war disabled veterans in Croatia and subsequently induced collective amnesia thus helping to create the culture of forgetting.

This paper aims to reflect about the relation between two discursive practices in an indigenous context: the ending ceremony of mourning of the ancient Parkatêjê chief and the indigenous protest of Guarani people, which occurs into the traditional ceremony. It was analyzed the enunciation scene constituted in a indigenous protest parade through the investigation of seven posters. It was verified the tangle within the discursive practices and the interaction of the encompassing scenes, generic and scenography in relation of utterance scene constituted in the protest act of Guarani indigenous people., Este artículo tiene como objetivo reflexionar sobre la relación entre dos prácticas discursivas en un contexto indígena, en particular: la cerimonia de encerramiento del luto por el antiguo jefe Parkatêjê y la protesta indígena del pueblo Guarani, hecho en el interior de la cerimonia tradicional. Buscamos analizar la escena de enunciación constituida en la protesta indígena, a partir del examen de siete carteles. Como aportación teórica, utilizamos presupuestos de la Análisis del Discurso francófona, movilizando las nociones de práctica discursiva y escena enunciativa. Verificamos el entrelazado de las prácticas discursivas analizadas y la interacción de las escenas englobante, genérica y de la escenografía en cuanto a la escena de enunciación en el acto de protesta de los indios Guarani., Este artigo objetiva refletir sobre a relação entre duas práticas discursivas em um contexto indígena: a cerimônia de encerramento do luto pelo antigo chefe Parkatêjê e o protesto do povo Guarani, realizado no interior da cerimônia tradicional. Discursive practices are looked upon as the core notion of discourse theory and the main instrument linguists can operate with studying language in connection with society and a human being. In this introductory article we will look into how language, culture and ideology are intertwined in diverse discursive practices and how these practices are shaped by people representing various cultures, ideologies and social entities. As part of linguistic discourse theory, we will briefly outline the major objectives and tenets of discourse theory or discourse analysis and track down the reasons why discourse theory turned into a dominant linguistic paradigm in the new millennium. Besides, some light will be thrown on the advancements and debatable questions arising within discourse theory as reflected in its methodology. Then we will give a brief synopsis of each individual paper and highlight theoretical and methodological contributions and innovations proposed by our authors. The results of the discussion as well as a brief outlook on future research will be summed up at the end of the introductory article.

The article is devoted to the study of factory identity based on the material of autobiographical texts of Uralmash workers written in 1967—1984. The novelty of the research is in the theoretical approach to identity as a discursive concept, which is structured by systematically recurring themes in personal narratives. The main focus is on ideological meanings in autobiographical texts. Their ritual and integrative functions are established, which are realized in the analyzed texts. The leading role of ideological meanings in describing the construction of a plant and in constructing the image of the enemy and the threat posed by it for the plant and the collective is shown. The ways to include memoirs of the theme of victims of political violence in the 1930s in the texts and to restore their names in the factory biography are discussed in the article. It is proved that the introduction of the theme of victims of political repression, as well as ritual formulas of ideological loyalty, reproduced by naive authors with involuntary distortions and deviations from the norms of written literary speech, results, among other things, in “corrosion” of the Soviet official discourse and is one of the factors that led to the “performative shift” characteristic of the late Soviet era. The analyzed text material has not previously been the object of research.

Introduction. Nowadays medical online services are evolving rapidly and become more and more popular. Telemedicine is developed as a part of the Russian government program “The medical system 4P”. However, doctor-patient online communication has rarely been the subject of research in modern sociology. Nevertheless, online-services are valuable resource for researchers to study and analyze information that is difficult to obtain in other ways.Methodology and sources. The paper is devoted to the research of doctor-patient discursive practices on the internet medical advice forums by the example of “Health.mail.ru”. The general method of research is critical discourse analysis, based on the theory and methodology of N. Fairclough, which gives an opportunity to make suggestions about social practices using text analysis and discursive practices analysis. A non-reactive strategy was used in the empirical research. During the research 28 800 messages, which include 14 400 messages from patients and 14 400 messages from doctors, were analyzed. Data analysis was performed in the “R” program.Results and discussion. As a result, some assumptions about social practices and discursive practices on the online forum were formulated. The main patient’s goal on online forums is avoiding face-to-face interaction with doctors in a hospital. One of doctor’s goals is promoting their services. Interaction is carried out in a form of request from the patient and expert assessment from the doctor in response. Usually, patients send their messages anonymously. Doctors, by contrast, emphasize their identity. It helps them to maintain their image and to legitimate their expertise. Doctor’s and patient’s discourses are using special medical terminology, and they are not interpreting it. It demands from the patients being experts.Conclusion. Online communication is a new type of doctor-patient communication, which is more democratic, more complementary and more impersonal than face-to-face communication. Usually doctor-patient online communication on the internet medical advice forums does not involve thorough analysis of individual patient’s situation and maintaining sustainable interpersonal relationships.

PurposeThis article sheds light on the legal services offered by antiviolence centers through a discursive practice-based analysis of women who have experienced domestic violence and the lawyers who volunteer in the center.Design/methodology/approachUsing a practice-based framework, the article utilizes a case study of the first legal meeting between a lawyer and a woman who has experienced violence. The case study illustrates how the legal advisors' expertise is deployed in the use of “discursive practices” in dealing with women who have experienced domestic violence. Through a systematic analysis of the verbatim narrative, the case shows how the lawyer performs her legal help through expert “discursive practices” which are situated in recognition of the texture of practices experienced by women in the legal system.FindingsThe case study shows how a practice-based approach is able to account for lawyers' discursive and interactional knowledge in dealing with domestic violence. This expert doing and saying includes the ability to read the complexities of abusive situations, using “professional vision” to identify, highlight and codify clues and patterns of a partners' violent behavior; the mastery of “co-implication” with women to support the development of a narrative of the abuse as a crime recognizable both by the victim and the legal system.Originality/valueThe analysis shows that practice-based approaches to knowing and learning in investigating discourse practices can provide insights on practitioners' interactional expertise as well as the relevance of the service. While a close look at the actual practices illustrates the lawyer's interactional mechanisms, the crucial role of legal aid in the antiviolence center can be appreciated by contextualizing within the texture of practices that characterizes women's experiences with violence.

espanolResumen Introduccion: esta reflexion investigativa surge en el marco de la situacion que vivia Colombia con miras a consolidar el acuerdo de paz, por lo cual, se hacia necesario centrar la mirada en la formacion de maestros, ya que estos son actores sociales, eticos y politicos que con su trabajo pedagogico le aportan a la construccion de una cultura de paz. En este sentido, el objetivo estuvo orientado a develar las practicas discursivas en torno a la educacion para la paz y construccion de ciudadania que circulan y se apropian en la formacion de maestros en ocho facultades de educacion y dos normales superiores en el departamento de Antioquia. Los materiales y metodos: la investigacion es cualitativa con enfoque fenomenologico y documental, las tecnicas utilizadas: entrevista, grupo focal y analisis documental; los instrumentos: guia de entrevista, guia de grupo focal y ficha para el analisis de documentos institucionales. El analisis se hizo con la informacion que arrojaba cada instrumento y posteriormente se triangulo en una matriz de cuatro cuadrantes del sentido propuesta por los investigadores. Los resultados: los sentidos de las practicas discursivas se plantearon desde cuatro perspectivas, que son subjetiva, objetiva, intersubjetiva e inter objetiva. Se Concluye que los sentidos de las practicas discursivas se situan desde lo subjetivo en el propio saber, sentir y vivencia. Lo objetivo en las experiencias, protocolos y estrategias. Lo intersubjetivo en la interrelacion y cultura discursiva y la inter objetiva se refiere a la institucionalizacion y aplicacion explicita de las politicas educativas. EnglishAbstract Introduction: This research reflection arises within the framework of the situation that Colombia was living in order to consolidate the peace agreement, so it was necessary to focus on the training of teachers, since these are social, ethical and political actors who, with their pedagogical work, contribute to the construction of a culture of peace. Objective: Unveil the discursive practices around education for peace and citizenship construction that circulate and are appropriated in the training of teachers in eight Faculties of Education and two Normal Schools in the department of Antioquia. Materials and methods: The research is qualitative with a phenomenological and documentary approach. The techniques used are: interview, focus group and documentary analysis; the instruments: interview guide, focus group guide and card for the analysis of institutional documents. The analysis was made with the information provided by each instrument and subsequently triangulated into a matrix of four meaning quadrants proposed by the researchers. Results: The meanings of the discursive practices were raised from four perspectives, namely subjective, objective, inter-subjective and inter-objective. Conclusions: The meanings of the discursive practices are placed from the subjective in one's own knowledge, feeling and experience; from the objective in experiences, protocols and strategies; from the inter-subjective in the interrelation and discursive culture; and from the inter-objective in the institutionalization and explicit application of educational policies. portuguesResumo Introducao: esta reflexao de pesquisa emerge no marco da situacao que vivia Colombia a fim de consolidar o acordo da paz, e por isso que, se fiz necessario centrar o olhar na formacao de educadores, pois estes sao atores sociais, eticos e politicos que com seu trabalho pedagogico aportam a construcao uma cultura de paz. Neste sentido, o objetivo esteve orientado para revelar as praticas discursivas em torno a educacao para a paz e construcao de cidadania que circulam e se apropriam na formacao de educadores em oito faculdades de educacao e dois normais superiores no departamento de Antioquia. Os materiais e metodos: a pesquisa e qualitativa com a abordagem fenomenologico e documental, as tecnicas utilizadas: entrevista, grupo focal e analise documental; os instrumentos: guia de entrevista, guia de grupo focal e o ficho para a analise de documentos institucionais. A analise se realizou com a informacao que emitia cada instrumento e posteriormente se triangulou em uma matriz de quatro quadrantes do sentido proposto pelos pesquisadores. Os resultados: os sentidos das praticas discursivas se plantearam desde quatro perspectivas, que sao subjetiva, objetiva, intersubjetiva e interobjetiva. Se Conclui que os sentidos das praticas discursivas estao situados desde o subjetivo no proprio saber, sentir e vivencia. O objetivo nas experiencias, protocolos e estrategias. O intersubjetivo na inter-relacao e cultura discursiva e a interobjetiva se refere a institucionalizacao e aplicacao explicita das politicas educativas.

Karate - do is one of many budo , or martial ways, that originated during the Kamakura Shogunate of Japan. The original dojos (training halls), used the Japanese language to indoctrinate karate students into the moral code of the dojo community. Over the last century karate has spread across the world, and other languages have been combined with Japanese to teach the art and sport. In this article, the discursive practice of combining English and Japanese in Canadian dojos is called Karate - Talk. Using identity frameworks from linguistic anthropology and sociolinguistics, I illustrate and interpret how Karate - Talk teaches students the moral and ethical codes that are embedded in karate training, and in doing so helps students develop their black belt identity. Dojos want their students to develop black belt identities because it helps to pass on the traditions of karate - do and contributes to the preservation and continuation of the art form. This article describes Karate - Talk in a socio - historic context, and establishes the ways it is used to create black belt identities in karate students through the use of a case study.

¿De qué manera se conectan las prácticas discursivas de los grupos sociales a sus prácticas no discursivas? Resolver esta pregunta nos parece crucial si se quiere estudiar, tal como nos lo proponemos, el rol del discurso en la transformación de las prácticas sociales. Nuestro texto se divide en dos partes. En esta primera parte, intentamos restituir los términos de este espacio de reflexión, tal como lo delimitan las propuestas de La arqueología del saber (Foucault, 1969) y de Las verdades evidentes (Pêcheux, 1975). Veremos que estos dos proyectos teóricos responden a nuestro interrogante esencialmente mediante posiciones antagónicas. En la segunda parte de este trabajo (ver Revista Refracción, numero 6), exponemos la manera en que la teoría de Laclau y Mouffe clausura este debate y proponemos, por nuestro lado, un camino posible para reabrirlo. How are the discursive practices of social groups connected to their non-discursive practices? Solving this question seems crucial if we want to study, as we propose, the role of discourse in the transformation of social practices. Our text is divided into two parts. In this first part, we propose to restore the terms of this space of thought, as delimited by the proposals of L’archéologie du savoir (Foucault, 1969) and of Les vérités de la Palice (Pêcheux, 1975). We will see that these two theoretical projects answer our question essentially through antagonistic positions. In the second part of this work (see Revista Refracción, 6), we expose the way in which Laclau and Mouffe's theory closes this debate and we will propose a possible way to reopen it.

В статье рассматривается взаимосвязь процесса социализации молодёжи и регионального развития в АТР. Делается попытка обозначить контуры модели социализации, выявить и минимизировать её основные риски. Внимание сфокусировано на роли человека в обществе, внешних и внутренних технологиях воздействия на социальные институты в постсекулярную эпоху. Суть этого представлена в повседневных практиках, используемых различными научными направлениями, среди которых ведущим остаётся гуманитарное. Ценностная интервенция в культурный компонент социального содержит признаки долговременной деформации архетипических представлений общественного сознания. Особая роль отводится религиозным коннотациям политического дискурса, дезориентирующим интенциональные установки личности. Продвигаемые в информационном пространстве категории и понятия искажают смысл происходящего и инициируют хаотизацию идеальной сферы, что задаёт и темп, и направленность мировоззренческой динамики. На фоне такой хаотизации мощные импульсы фрустрации приводят бытие человека в возмущённое состояние, вызывая неудовлетворённость и разрушение внутренней гармонии. Если к сказанному добавить, что Дальневосточный регион находится на оживлённом «перекрёстке» глобальных тенденций, а также конфессионально и социально весьма разнообразен, становится очевидным один из возможных факторов оттока населения — недостаточная сплочённость регионального сообщества. Исследование Дальневосточного региона, осуществлённое с учётом его этнорелигиозной и социокультурной мозаичности, нацелено на поиск социальной сплочённости как главного условия интенсивного развития. Автор посредством философского и социологического анализа приходит к выводу об особом значении духовной сферы в реализации программ экономического роста., The paper examines the relationship between the process of socialization of young people and the development of the Asia Pacific Region. An attempt is made to outline the socialization model, to identify and minimize its main risks. The focus is on the role of a man in the society, external and internal technologies of impact on social institutions in the era of postsecularism. The essence of this impact lies in the framework of everyday practices implemented in various scientific directions among which the humanitarian remains the leading one. The value intervention in the cultural component of the social sphere contains signs of a long-term deformation of archetypal representations of social consciousness. The special role is assigned to the religious connotations of the political discourse, which disorient the intentional values of the individual. The categories and concepts promoted in the information space distort the meaning of events and initiate the chaotization of the ideal sphere, which sets both the pace and direction of the worldview dynamics. Against the background of such chaos, powerful impulses of frustration lead a person’s being into an outraged state causing dissatisfaction and destruction of inner harmony. As the region is at a lively crossroads of civilizational tendencies and represents superdiversity in the confessional and social sense, it becomes evident that insufficient cohesion of the regional community is one of the possible reasons of the population outflow. The study of the Far Eastern Region in terms of ethnoreligious and sociocultural mosaic specifics is aimed at finding ways of social cohesion as a main condition for the stable development. The author concludes that the spiritual sphere has special significance in the implementation of economic development programs through a socio-philosophical analysis of the historical context.

As primeiras são características de um texto escrito destinado à publicação ¿ trata-se de material lingüístico que demanda procedimentos técnicos como catalogação, normalizações, relativos ao próprio suporte e a sua circulação. As outras, estreitamente ligadas a estas, são um fenômeno decorrente tanto do desenvolvimento das teorias lingüísticas ao longo do século XX, como das demandas que se configuraram quanto à formação de leitores, às teorias e práticas decorrentes, e à expressiva multiplicação de títulos e autores. Considerando tais práticas em sua dinâmica histórica, esta pesquisa se concentra na atividade editorial que tem contemplado reflexões sobre leitura e escrita, e assim tem orientado o tratamento dos textos que se publicam. Há, nesse mercado editorial, uma função relativamente nova, que inclui diversas etapas de trabalho sobre o texto autoral, as quais são ainda pouco discriminadas e compreendidas.Este estudo focaliza uma dessas etapas, entendendo-a como partícipe do processo autoral (que envolve diferentes agentes e operações), o que parece configurar um caráter coletivo da autoria, que entendemos ser característico das condições atuais da produção editorial. The former are a set of characteristics of a written text destined to be published ¿ this includes linguistic material demanding technical procedures such as cataloguing and normalizations, related to the support itself and its circulation. The latter, closely connected with the former, arose out of the development of linguistic theories in the 20th century as well as of the demand that took place regarding the formation of readers, the theories and practices that stemmed from such formation and the substantial multiplication of titles and writers. Considering such practices in their historical dynamics, this research is concentrated on the editorial practice that has contemplated reflections on reading and writing, and has thus oriented the treatment of texts to be published. In this editorial market, there is, to a certain extent, a new role, which includes several stages of work performed on the text that are still not clearly outlined or understood. This study focuses on one of those stages, taking it as a participant of the authoral process, which involves different agents and operations that seem to figure as a collective aspect of authorship. Résumé : Une nouvelle idéologie traverse les pratiques d’accompagnement des chômeurs ou des salariés en transition professionnelle : l’activation. En appui sur les travaux sociologiques actuels montrant qu’elle correspond à une nouvelle norme de définition des identités contemporaines, l’article analyse la façon dont elle transforme les conditions de la reconnaissance des bénéficiaires et infléchit les pratiques discursives des conseillers-emploi. A partir de différents corpus, dont une enquête auprès d’un opérateur national de placement, il décrit les formes énonciatives, pragmatiques et dialogiques concrètes par lesquelles ces professionnels transforment dans l’interaction les co-énonciataires en « acteurs activés », entrepreneurs d’eux-mêmes. Il montre comment cette idéologie, en privilégiant un accompagnement par le faire sur un accompagnement par l’écoute, vient percuter et recomposer la logique de l’énonciation biographique, produisant paradoxalement un empêchement d’expression de la subjectivité individuelle. Abstract: A new ideology runs through the practices of accompanying the unemployed or employees experiencing a professional transition : the ideology of activation. Based on current sociological work showing that this ideology corresponds to a new standard of definition of the contemporary identities, the article analyzes how it transforms the conditions for the recognition of beneficiaries and influences the discursive practices of the employment counsellors. On the basis of various corpus, including an investigation in a national placement office, the article describes the concrete enunciative, pragmatic and dialogical forms by which these professionals transform, through the interaction, the jobseekers into “active actors”, “entrepreneurs of themselves”. It shows how this ideology, by focusing on an accompaniment by doing over an accompaniment by listening, comes to permeate and recompose the logic of the biographical enunciation, paradoxically producing an impediment to the assertion of individual subjectivity.

O objetivo foi analisar como os discursos da educação se interligaram com os da psicologia para compor um campo de estudos sobre esta criança, transformando-a em positividade científica. Para tanto, busquei descrever como os saberes da educação e da psicologia se amalgamaram e produziram um olhar sobre a criança, dizendo quem é este sujeito. Realizei um estudo qualitativo no qual direcionei meu olhar para manuais de psicologia destinados aos cursos de formação de professores das Escolas Normais e que foram escritos por educadores brasileiros entre 1920 e 1962 - período que antecede o reconhecimento legal da psicologia como profissão. Após um longo caminho percorrido, foram selecionados os seguintes manuais: Introdução ao estudo da Escola Nova, escrito por M. B. Lourenço Filho, publicado originalmente em 1929 e revisto e ampliado em 1961; Psicologia da criança, escrito por Theobaldo Miranda Santos em 1948; Psicologia educacional: 1ª parte - Psicologia da criança, escrito por Afro Amaral Fontoura em 1958. A análise partiu de uma perspectiva foucaultiana a fim de olhar para os movimentos discursivos que colocaram em relação psicologia, educação e criança de zero a seis anos. O contato com os manuais trouxeram o olhar dos três autores para esta relação. Observei que a criança de zero a seis anos foi descrita como uma nova categoria de vida que precisava ser entendida por meio das novas investigações psicológicas. Essas investigações estavam surgindo desde o final do século XIX e se legitimando como aquilo que hoje conhecemos como psicologia científica. Esse entendimento esteve na base da organização de novas formas de ensino que caracterizaram a educação renovada, defendida pelos autores. As orientações às futuras professoras deixaram claro que, no entendimento dos autores analisados, as crianças de zero a seis anos deveriam receber mais atenção do que, até então, lhes era destinada. Isso porque sua educação implicaria em adequá-la às necessidades do meio, potencializando aquilo que trazia de bom e impedindo que suas tendências inatas prevalecessem em sua personalidade. Este olhar direcionado a ela, o detalhamento de seu desenvolvimento, a preocupação com sua vida, as orientações psicológicas e educacionais presentes nos manuais analisados ainda têm suas ressonâncias na atualidade Abstract: The theme of this research is the encounter of psychology with education in the Brazilian discourses about children from zero to six years old that were produced between the years 1920 and 1962. The objective is to analyze how the discourses of education were involved with those of psychology to compose a field of studies on these children, transforming such discourses into scientific positivity. To do so, I tried to describe how the knowledges of education and psychology were amalgamated and produced a view about these children to state who such subject is. I conducted a qualitative study in which I turned my attention to the manuals of psychology for the teacher training courses of the Normal Schools that were written by Brazilian educators between 1920 and 1962 - a period that precedes the legal recognition of psychology as a profession. After a long journey, the following manuals were selected: Introduction to the Study of the New School, written by MB Lourenço Filho, originally published in 1929 and revised and expanded in 1961. Psychology of the Child, written by Theobaldo Miranda Santos in 1948. Educational Psychology: Part I ¿ Child Psychology, written by Afro Amaral Fontoura in 1958. The analysis started from a Foucauldian perspective to look at the discursive movements that related psychology, education and children from zero to six years. The contact with the manuals brought the view of the three authors to this relation. I observed that the children from zero to six years were described as a new category of life that needed to be understood through the new psychological investigations. These investigations were emerging from the late nineteenth century and legitimizing themselves as what we know today as scientific psychology. This understanding was based on the organization of new forms of education that characterized the renewed education, as defended by the authors. The guidance to future teachers made it clear that, in the opinion of the authors analyzed, children from zero to six years should receive more attention than was previously intended, since their education would entail adapting them to the needs of the environment, potentializing what was good and preventing their innate tendencies from prevailing in their personality. Orientador: Raquel Salek Fiad Tese (doutorado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Instituto de Estudos da Linguagem Resumo: Frente a um (auto) discurso de liberdade presente na Escola Municipal de Ensino Fundamental Amorim Lima, localizada na capital paulista, este trabalho tem como meta compreender, a partir das reflexões proporcionadas pelos Novos Estudos do Letramento, como este discurso é considerado nas ações que se centram nas práticas de leitura e escrita da língua materna. A partir de uma pesquisa qualitativa de teor interpretativista conforme as especificidades da investigação em Linguística Aplicada, um estudo de caso foi realizado para a geração dos registros necessários a esta verificação. A postura teórica adotada considerou as reflexões do Bakhtin e seu Círculo para auxiliar na compreensão das respostas que a escola oferece quando seleciona o material a ser desenvolvido pelos alunos no que se refere à Língua Portuguesa. Os resultados da pesquisa, a partir do agrupamento do material compilado na pesquisa de campo, mostram que o discurso da liberdade se efetiva em alguns momentos da escola, mas, no que se refere ao trato com a língua materna, ele se distancia pelo fato de as práticas de letramento estar vinculadas a um modelo autônomo de letramento. Por ser a primeira tese que propõe investigar a Amorim Lima a partir do ponto da Língua Materna, houve a necessidade, mesmo que se tenha realizado um trabalho de contextualização situada da escola, de fazer algumas generalizações. Entretanto, elas são necessárias para o próprio andamento das pesquisas cujo enfoque centralizará nas práticas de letramento desta escola por ser um ponto de partida a partir de um trabalho de campo Abstract: Faced with an (auto) speech of freedom in the Municipal School of Elementary Education Amorim Lima, located in the capital of the state of São Paulo, this study aims to understand, from the reflections offered by the New Literacy Studies, how this speech is considered in the actions which are focused on practices of reading and writing the mother language. From a qualitative study of interpretativist content according to the specificities of the investigation in Applied Linguistics, a case study was conducted to generate the necessary records to this verification. The theoretical stance adopted considered Bakhtin and his Circle's reflections to assist in understanding the responses that the school offers when selecting the material to be developed by students in relation to the Portuguese. The survey's results, from the grouping of the material compiled in field research, show that the speech of freedom is effective at school sometimes, but regarding to the dealing with language, it distanced itself because the literacy practices are linked to an autonomous model of literacy. As the first thesis that proposes to investigate Amorim Lima from the point of Mother Tongue, it was necessary, even if one has done a job of contextualizing located at school, to make some generalizations. The theoretical basis for this research is genealogical method. Genealogical method is based on theconcept of discursive which formed in the tradition of structuralism. The genealogical method is basedon the fact that, due to inclusion in the practices of daily, the existence of an individual is fixed in thetexts and documents of government. Based on the analysis of these documents, these practices can besubsequently reconstructed and reproduced. In this sense, any activity of individuals in the field ofdaily is seen as a discursive practice. This makes it possible not only to describe or reconstruct dailyactivities or components of daily, but also to identify its genealogy, to establish the reasons why one oranother practices were admitted or excluded from daily. For the study of daily within the framework ofthe concept of discourse and the genealogical method, the facts and phenomena should be studied ascomponents of discursive practices. It is necessary to concentrate attention not on the historical analysis,but on the analysis of discourse sequences. Genealogical method allows to establish a valid and effectivefor sociological approaches principle of describing the sphere of daily. This approach is effective becauseof grouping of events and facts which traditionally related to the sphere daily, into new sequences -discursive practices and dispositives. The main idea of the genealogical method in biographical researchis to consider various information of oneself in the relevant historical and cultural contexts (discursiveformations). Creation of information should be considered as a manifestation of some dispositives,which are formed of discursive practices. "Evidence of oneself" is a separate form of"statements" that can also be one of the types of dis cursive practices. The main thing in this new methodology is the definition of the content of the "evidence of oneself" as separatediscursive speech and discursive practices that are formed the basis of a dispositive as a reflection of thestrategies of discourse of power.

Os sentidos que produz e o resultado de seu enfrentamento com o discurso dominante irá determinar o aceite de sua circulação na sociedade. Os discursos do Ativismo Pedófilo, nesse trabalho representado pelos discursos do Ipce e do Newgon são marca clara dessa disputa de forças. Ao enunciar de um lugar favorável ao reconhecimento das relações sexuais entre adultos e crianças o ativismo pedófilo busca garantir um espaço de circulação de seus discursos em oposição a uma estrutura social que rejeita suas práticas. O embate entre esses lados leva o ativismo pedófilo a reconfigurar (ou tentar reconfigurar) sentidos diversos no discurso dominante como as noções de criança e a possibilidade de consentimento por parte desta numa relação sexual. A própria prática pedófila, assentada pelo ativismo num discurso de antiguidade histórica dessa prática, é alinhada aos discursos pedagógicos "XXVII - O pedófilo experiente tem qualidades que faltam a muitos professores e outros pedagogos (...)" como parte dessa busca de aceitação de sua prática e principalmente circulação de seus discursos. A constituição de um "espaço" social que suplante os professores e pais (nesse sentido os outros pedagogos) nas relações entre adultos e crianças, ao mesmo tempo que produz um apagamento do "sexual" dessa relação, dependeria da circulação de uma "nova imagem" do pedófilo, cuja construção passaria pelo enfraquecimento da memória que memória que leva aos sentidos de crime e doença que, na visão do ativismo, seriam aqueles que impediriam a livre circulação dos discursos de configuração positiva acerca da pedofilia:"XXV - O que eu sugiro é que agora nós criemos uma nova imagem de um pedófilo ideal como queremos que ele seja. Eu quero pintar um retrato de um boy-lover que leva o seu "trabalho" a sério". Essa tentativa de reconfiguração também se dá na forma de agir do próprio pedófilo. Antes um sujeito constituído no silêncio e no espaço daquele que "é dito" passa a buscar um espaço a partir do qual possa enunciar e encontra no ativismo social um espaço de nivelamento com outros grupos, com referência especial aos grupos homossexuais (o que não implica, obviamente, na aceitação desse nivelamento por parte destes) Abstract: A speech does not flow by itself: it depends on the outcome of relations of meaning and power present at the time of its production. The meaning generated and the result of his confrontation with the dominant discourse will determine the acceptance of its circulation in society. The speeches of pedophile activism, represented in this work by the discourses of Ipce and Newgon, are clearly marks of this contest of strength. By stating from a favorable position to the recognition of sexual relations between adults and children, pedophile activism seeks to ensure a space for circulation of his speeches in opposition to a social structure that rejects their practices. The conflict between these sides takes pedophile activism to reconfigure (or attempting to reconfigure) different meanings in the dominant discourse and the notions of children and the possibility of his/her consent in a sexual intercourse. The pedophile practice itself placed by activism in an old historical discourse of this practice is aligned with the pedagogical discourses "XXVII - The experienced pedophile has qualities that lack to many school teachers and other educators (...)" as part of this search for acceptance of his practice and especially circulation of his speeches. The creation of a social "space" which supersedes teachers and parents (in this sense the other educators) in the relations between adults and children, while producing a deletion of the sexual connotation of this relationship, would depend on the movement of a "new image" of the pedophile, whose construction would go through the weakening of memory that leads to the senses of crime and disease that, in view of activism, would be those who would impede the free circulation of discourses about the positive configuration of pedophilia:"XXV - WhatI suggest now is that we create a new image of an ideal pedophile as we want him to be. I want to paint a portrait of a lover-boy who takes his "job" seriously". This reconfiguration attempt also occurs in the own pedophile's form of acting. Then a subject constituted in the silence and space of which "is said" now seeks a space from which he can enunciate and find in social activism a space of leveling with other groups, with special reference to homosexual groups (which obviously does not imply this leveling acceptance from their part) Doutorado Lingüística Doutor em Linguística

A expressão cansaço tem circulado contemporaneamente em distintas esferas da vida social para significar experiências de maternagem de mulheres de camadas médias brasileiras. “Mães cansadas” figuram, verbalizam ou escrevem sobre o que vivem nos grupos virtuais e presenciais de mães no pós-parto, nos discursos psi e nas telas do cinema e da televisão. Neste artigo, a ideia é refletir justamente sobre “o cansaço” como categoria nativa nesses universos e ponderar sobre os seus sentidos no que tange à vida social mais amplamente pensada, qual seja econômica e politicamente. Afinal, o que pode nos contar o “cansaço materno” sobre a política e a economia, sobre a casa e a rua, sobre o ideário de uma maternidade “mais naturalista” e sobre os papéis de gênero operantes? The expression tiredness has been circulating at the same time in different spheres of social life to mean experiences of motherhood of Brazilian middle-class women. “Tired mothers” figure, verbalize or write about what they live in the virtual and face-to-face groups of mothers in the postpartum period, in psi speeches and on cinema and television screens. In this article, the idea is to reflect precisely on “fatigue” as a native category in these universes and to ponder on their senses in terms of the most widely thought-out social life, which is economically and politically. After all, what can “maternal fatigue” tell us about politics and economics, about the home and the street, about the idea of a “more naturalist” motherhood and about the gender roles that operate? The article is devoted to some characteristics and discursive practices of the political media discourse in China for the period 2019-2021. The aim of this research is to describe political media discourse in China and to present our experience of using the methodology of critical discourse analysis (CDA) and content analysis. The potential key risks of 2021 are associated with difficulties with the international transfer of information, conflicts in cyberspace, as well as the ongoing confrontation in the “USA – China” couple etc. Contemporary linguistics and information technologies naturally involve an interdisciplinary study of national language in multi-semiotic environment, which means synchronous theoretical and empirical analysis of three subsystems` interaction – media discourse, Internet media and politics in contemporary China. In this case language, technology and political discourse together generate appropriate discursive practices. The article examines the ways of applying the methodology of critical discourse analysis (CDA) and content analysis to the materials of the Chinese media sphere for the period 2019-2021. The factual material was selected from three media platforms such as《环球网》 (“Global Times”), 《凤凰网》(Phoenix New Media) and “The South China Morning Post” for a specific chronological period. The research findings not only contribute original knowledge to theory and methodology, but also evoke thoughts about China’s media and discursive practices empirically. Este texto apresenta o Seminário Internacional Rotas Críticas – Mulheres enfrentando as violências, realizado em Porto Alegre, em abril de 2008. O Seminário foi uma promoção do Programa de Pósgradução em Saúde Coletiva/UNISINOS e da Escola de Saúde Pública/RS e contou com o apoio de pesquisadores de notório saber no campo da saúde coletiva, ciências socais e humanas. Inicialmente discutimos alguns aspectos conceituais acerca da violência de gênero, as dimensões do fenômeno e suas conseqüências para a saúde e qualidade de vida das mulheres afetadas. Nosso entendimento é o de que a violência é um dos métodos mais efetivos para controlar as mulheres em sociedades marcadas pelas hierarquias de gênero. A estrutura do Seminário contemplou três grandes eixos de discussão: rompendo com as violências; ferramentas para trabalhar com gênero e ouvindo os serviços. Estes eixos foram escolhidos no intuito de buscar subsídios para atender as mulheres e explorar ferramentas eficazes para combater, reduzir e, se possível, eliminar as violências perpetradas contra as mulheres. Ao término do Seminário, reiteramos nosso compromisso político com a efetivação das políticas públicas de enfrentamento às violências e a luta contra todas as formas de desigualdades, discriminações e violências baseadas em gênero., This paper presents the Critical Routes International Seminar – Women Facing Violence , which took place in Porto Alegre in 2008. The seminar was promoted by the Graduate Program on Collective Health at Unisinos and by the Public Health School/RS and was supported by outstanding researchers working in the fields of collective health, and social and human sciences. Initially, we discuss some conceptual aspects about gender violence, its dimensions and its consequences for the health and the life quality of the affected women. Our understanding is that violence is one of the most effective methods of controlling women in societies scarred with gender hierarchies. The structure of the seminar focused on three main discussion themes: breaking up with the violence, mechanisms for working with gender and hearing the services. These themes were chosen aiming at looking for ways to help the women and to explore efficient mechanisms to combat, reduce and, if possible, eliminate the violence perpetrated against women. At the end of the seminar, we reiterate the political commitment on the accomplishment of the public policies to face violence and the fight against all inequality, discrimination and violence forms based on gender.

Digital communication technologies, social web platforms, and mobile communication have fundamentally altered the way we communicate publicly. They have also changed our perception of space, thus making a re-calibration of a spatial perspective on public communication necessary. We argue that such a new perspective must consider the relational logic of public communication, which stands in stark contrast to the plain territorial notion of space common in communication research. Conceptualising the spatiality of public communication, we draw on Löw’s (2016) sociology of space. Her relational concept of space encourages us to pay more attention to (a) the infrastructural basis of communication, (b) the operations of synthesising the relational communication space through discursive practices, and (c) power relations that determine the accessibility of public communication. Thus, focusing on infrastructures and discursive practices means highlighting crucial socio-material preconditions of public communication and considering the effects of the power relations which are inherent in their spatialisation upon the inclusivity of public communication. This new approach serves a dual purpose: Firstly, it works as an analytical perspective to systematically account for the spatiality of public communication. Secondly, the differentiation between infrastructural spaces and spaces of discursive practices adds explanatory value to the perspective of relational communication spaces.

This paper investigates climate change activism among sportsmen and sportswomen, or hunters and fishers—a politically conservative group with historically deep roots to environmental conservation. Recently members of this community have created an NGO that focuses solely on climate change action—Conservation Hawks—and several other long-standing organizations have begun to include climate communication and activism within their mission. This article draws on fieldwork conducted throughout the rural western U.S., including ethnographic interviews with sportsmen/sportswomen, participant observation in hunter education courses and conservation events, and publicly-available media produced by hunting-oriented conservation organizations. Using an ethnographic and discourse analytic approach, I find that three primary discursive practices are particularly important within hunting and fishing community—a performed closeness to wildlife and wild places, a privileging of experiential and embodied epistemologies, and a valorization of the past wilderness. In both interviews and sportsmen-oriented media, these discourses can be drawn on when creating doubt and climate skepticism. Increasingly, however, activist groups use the same rhetorical strategies to promote climate change action. I argue that such shared discursive practices can thus mobilize collective identities, challenge political polarization, and create new political subjectivities around climate change in the rural western United States. I also argue that these discursive practices shape the actions portrayed as reasonable responses to the climate crisis within this community. This analysis thus illuminates climate activism within an understudied group, showing the depth of the civic movement on climate change. It also specifically highlights the importance of shared discursive practices to both climate skepticism and climate activism among one politically-conservative group in the United States, rural white hunters, and fishers.

El presente trabajo busca poner de manifiesto los aportes metodológicos desarrollados por Michel Foucault en torno a una historia crítica. Proponemos un recorrido por diversos pasajes de la obra del pensador, con el objetivo de hilvanar los principales elementos que presuntamente componen su método. A partir de este ejercicio sostenemos que, para poder consignar la existencia de un método foucaulteano, se hace necesario reproblematizar dicha noción más allá de los desplazamientos en torno a los conocidos tres momentos de su obra ―arqueológico/genealógico/ético―, reorientando la mirada hacia la tensión crítica posible de atisbar en torno al singular lugar que ocupa la cuestión de la historia en su trabajo. Lo novedoso de nuestra propuesta consiste en puntualizar que, más allá de los conocidos aportes sustanciales prefigurados en torno al aparejo conceptual de Foucault, su trabajo ha de ser comprendido como una metodología histórico-filosófica eminentemente práctica, volcada a desarticular los principios canónicos que legitiman los saberes producidos por el método historiográfico, abriendo así una región de indiscernibilidad y rareza en la práctica histórica que, sostenemos, puede pensarse en las cercanías de una parahistoria. En suma, proponemos la tesis de que el desplazamiento en la obra de Foucault cobra una potencia singular a partir de la introducción de un artificio estratégico ―anónimo―, orientado a forzar un pliegue de la historia sobre sí misma, mostrando de qué manera las tramas historiográficas tributan de manera activa a sostener y legitimar los regímenes de saber, poder y verdad presentes en ellas. This paper seeks to highlight the methodological contributions developed by Michel Foucault in regard to a critical history. We propose a tour through various passages of the thinker´s work, with the aim of bashing the main elements that allegedly make up his method. From this exercise we maintain that, in order to record the existence of a Foucauldian method, it is necessary to reproblematize this notion beyond the displacements around the well-known three moments of his work -archeological/genealogical/ethical-, reorienting the look towards the critical tension possible to peer around the unique place that occupies the question of history in his work. The novelty of our proposal is to point out that, beyond the well-known substantial contributions foreshadowed around Foucault's conceptual rig, his work must be understood as an eminently practical historical-philosophical methodology, aimed at disarticulating the canonical principles that legitimize knowledge produced by the historiographic method, thus opening a region of indiscernibility and rarity in historical practice that, we maintain, can be thought of in the vicinity of a parahistory. In sum, we propose the thesis that the displacement in Foucault's work takes on a singular power from the introduction of a strategic artifice ―anonymous―, aimed at forcing a fold of history on itself, showing how historiographical plots actively tax to sustain and legitimize the regimes of knowledge, power and truth present in them.

Исследование выполнено на региональном материале, полученном в результате полевых наблюдений. Обращается внимание на различия в функционировании языка в коммуникативной среде города и села., The article examines the discursive practices of rural residents in two aspects: speech behavior in various situations of everyday life (communication at home and outside the home) and the sphere of epigraphic texts (announcements, signs, posters). The study was performed at the regional material obtained as a result of field observations. Attention is drawn to the differences in the functioning of the language in the communicative environment of the city and the countryside.

Drawing on the contemporary turn to discursive practices we examine how the organizing practices of industry, university and government facilitate (or impede) developing countries transition to a hybrid triple helix model of innovation. Placing emphasis on the everyday situated practices of institutional agents, their interactions, and collaborative relationships, we identified three domains of practices (advanced research capabilities and external partnerships, the quantification of scientific knowledge and outputs, and collective entrepreneurship) that constitutively facilitate (or impede) partnership and in turn the successful transition to a hybrid triple helix model. Our study also highlights the contextual influence of differential schemata of interpretations on how to organize innovation by the three institutional actors in developing countries. Resumo Este artigo focaliza modos como licenciandos e licenciandas do Curso de Formação Intercultural para Educadores Indígenas se apropriam de práticas discursivas da matemática escolar, quando avaliam ou elaboram propostas pedagógicas para o ensino de matemática na escola da aldeia. A partir do material empírico produzido no acompanhamento da turma de licenciatura em matemática desse Curso, em que adotamos procedimentos etnográficos, tecemos uma análise que reforça a compreensão dos processos de apropriação relacionada ao problema da significação e à questão da participação em práticas sociais. Assim, o modo como educadores em formação gerenciam o confronto entre práticas discursivas de diferentes tendências dos campos da Educação Matemática e da Educação Escolar Indígena delineia não só concepções de matemática e de seu ensino na escola indígena, mas, também, possibilidades de estruturação e análise das propostas pedagógicas que pretendam adotar em sua atividade docente. Abstract This paper focuses on the ways by which undergraduates of an Intercultural Training Course for Indigenous Teachers appropriate discursive practices of school mathematics, when they evaluate or develop educational proposals to mathematics teaching in the village school. From an empirical material produced when observing this course and adopting ethnographic procedures, we weaved an analysis that enhances the understanding of the processes of appropriation related to the problem of meaning and the question of participation in social practices. Thus, the way the educators in training manage the confrontation between discursive practices of different trends in the field of Mathematics Education and Indigenous Education outlines not only mathematics conceptions and its teaching in the indigenous school, but also possibilities of structuring and analyzing pedagogical proposals that they intend to adopt in their teaching activities.

Introduction. The system of continued professional education in modern Russia is aimed at raising the level of professional workers’ ability for competition at the global vocational market. Among the most required competences we put an emphasis on the ability for efficient communication in the native and foreign languages pursuing social, cultural and professional interaction. The practical experience proves that students of various courses of study within the system of continued professional education have difficulties while communicating in a foreign language because of a low level of their foreign language communication competence that is based on ability for decoding and producing a discourse. Aim. The article considers the factors to develop students’ ability for decoding and producing a discourse in the format of reflexive positional discussion. Methodology and research methods. Development of the advanced and high level of foreign language competence is possible via introduction of institutional discursive practices into the educational process. Development of foreign language competence in the system of continued professional education is being discussed from the point of synergy of pedagogical science and applied linguistics. System-synergetic, communicative-activity, discursive and technological approaches have been chosen as the methodological base to develop the system of criteria of students’ preparedness and ability to communicate in a foreign language. Methods of analysis and synthesis have been used during the work as well. Results and scientific novelty. The materials presented in the publication make a contribution to the theory and methodology of continued professional education regarding effective experts’ foreign language mastering, and skills acquisition for the most productive interpersonal and professional-oriented communication. Methodologically-based definition and description of the components of subject and structure of the concept of discursive foreign language competence are given. The educational technique that makes it possible to realize a wide range of discursive practices invariants has been developed. The algorithm for advanced and high level of discursive competence development has been described. The criteria of students’ preparedness and ability to communicate in a foreign language have been described as well as the marks related to the levels of developed discursive foreign language competence. Practical significance. The author's proposed technology enables to realize a wide range of invariants of the discursive practices and considerably increases the possibilities of effective foreign language training for specialists of various branches of economy and production, and pupils of different levels of training. The presented research results can be used when developing educational and methodical complexes in the systems of professional development and continued professional education.

Статья посвящена анализу дискурсивных практик формирования и развития европейской идентичности в рамках публичного дискурса в странах Европейского союза, объединяющего 28 государств Европы, на примере выборов в Европарламент в 2019 году. Определяются основные модели конструирования идентичности, а также ведущие акторы данного процесса. Исследование выполнено при финансовой поддержке РФФИ и АНО ЭИСИ в рамках реализации научного проекта № 19-011-31616 «Государственная политика в сфере формирования идентичности: концептуальные основания, технологии и перспективы» в Санкт-Петербургском государственном университете. Актуальность исследования состоит в сочетании достаточно фундаментального обзора основных направлений исследования дискурсивных практик формирования и манифестирования идентичности, а также предложенной моделью классификации таких практик, и привлечения конкретного эмпирического исследования, посвященного избирательной кампании в Европарламент весны 2019 года, что позволяет осветить разные аспекты ситуации., The article deals with the analysis of discursive practices of formation and development of European identity on terms of public discourse in the countries of European Union with 28 states of Europe on example of elections to the European Parliament in 2019. Basic models of constructing and manifestation of identity along with leading actors of this process (political parties, leaders of public opinion, etc) are determined. The text of the article has been prepared within the framework of the project “State Policy in the Sphere of Formation of Identity: Conceptual Foundations, Technologies and Prospects)”, RFBR grant No. № 19-011-31616. Relevance of the research is in the combination of rather fundamental review of basic directions of the research of discursive practices of formation and manifestation of identity along with the proposed model of classification of such practices, and attraction of detailed empiric research of spring 2019 electoral campaign to European Parliament which allows to highlight different aspects of the situation. The article is of interest to researchers of political discourse and public political process both professionally engaged in this topic and simply interested.

This article approaches the Portuguese Language taken as an object of teaching and learning in the educational Brazilian context. It is our aim to discuss the policies that guide the work proposed in the teaching of Portuguese. In order to achieve such a goal, we have examined official guidelines meant to institutionalize the pedagogical work concerning the teaching of Portuguese. Specifically, we have analyzed the national curriculum parameters (PCN), what made possible to see how this process of institutionalization has taken place. The analysis allowed us to focus on the role normative grammar played in the parameters. It was our perspective that the teaching of normative grammar should be understood differently. The article also analyses some utterances produced by a Portuguese teacher as a way to identify if and how the official guidelines would have affected the method the teacher would use in order to approach normative grammar in the classroom. We came to the conclusion that some principles of modern Linguistics are used in order to reframe the teaching of normative grammar. This was especially realized by listening to the way the teacher talked about his own practice. Thus, the teaching of normative grammar was certainly affected by the principles of modern Linguistics present in the official guidelines. In order to achieve our objectives, theoretically, we followed the discursive perspective as understood by Pêcheux. We stated that the official guidelines, including the PCN, produce discourses and can generate between teachers and the guidelines themselves theoretical and procedural identification. Under a discursive guidance, we showed that this identification is not a pressuposition. Instead, it is contradictory and conflicting. It is not the result of a subjectivism.

Cet article porte sur les « énonciations de privilèges » dans le militantisme féministe en ligne, c’est-à-dire sur les énoncés produits par des militant·es listant les privilèges de sexe-classe-race qu’illes possèdent ou qu’au contraire illes ne possèdent pas, dans un but de se situer par rapport aux diverses oppressions qu’illes subissent ou font subir. Après avoir décrit la forme et le fonctionnement pragmatique de ces énonciations ainsi que les courants féministes dans lesquels ils s’inscrivent, j’engage une critique de ces productions discursives de l’identité. Les énonciations de privilèges font en effet la part belle à l’illusion d’un sujet transparent et maître de son discours et échouent partiellement dans leur visée de produire des énonciations situées. This article focuses on “privilege utterances” in online feminist activism: I call “privilege utterances” the discursive practice of listing sex, class, race etc. privileges that one has (or does not have) in order to situate one’s own speech regarding the oppressions one may suffer or inflict. First, I will describe the form and the pragmatic effects of these utterances and I will explain the different feminist movements in which they are rooted. Secondly, I will criticize these discursive practices of identity production. I will show that privilege utterances are based on the illusion of a unitary and autonomous subject and thus partially fail to achieve situated discourses.

O objetivo deste estudo de caso é analisar significações sobre o ideário da promoção da saúde presentes no contexto da Estratégia Saúde da Família. O estudo de caso foi realizado em Belo Horizonte e, por isso, inicialmente, são discutidas as diretrizes relacionadas à promoção da saúde na atenção básica deste município. Em seguida, são analisadas as práticas discursivas e as estratégias de intervenção de uma equipe de Saúde da Família. Evidenciamos a fragmentação e a polarização frequentes entre a clínica e as ações coletivas programáticas, ambas pautadas em lógicas que raramente dialogam entre si, sobrepondo-se em uma só estratégia por força de normas institucionais. Entretanto, a construção de um projeto de promoção da saúde mental pela equipe de Saúde da Família remete a sentidos sobre promoção da saúde que estão mais próximos de uma concepção crítica do ideário. The purpose of this study is to discuss meanings about the set of ideas concerning health promotion in the context of the Family Health Strategy. A case study was carried out in Belo Horizonte and the guidelines related to health promotion in the primary care services of this municipality are brought to discussion. Then the discursive practices and intervention strategies of a Family Health team are analyzed. We approach the frequent fragmentation and polarization between the clinic and the programmatic collective actions, both based on logics that are rarely in touch with each other, forming a single strategy by the force of institutional norms. However, the formulation of a mental health promotion project by the Family Health team expresses other meanings, much closer to a critical conception of the health promotion ideas. El objetivo de este estudio es investigar las concepciones del ideario de promoción de la salud en el ámbito de la Estrategia Salud de la Familia. El estudio de caso se llevó a cabo en Belo Horizonte, estado de Minas Gerais, Brasil, por lo que inicialmente se discuten algunas directrices de la atención primaria en este municipio. A continuación son analizadas las prácticas discursivas y las estrategias de intervención de un equipo de Salud de la Familia. Lo que más se evidencia es la fragmentación y la polarización frecuentes entre la clínica y las acciones colectivas proyectadas. Las dos son basadas en lógicas que raramente dialogan entre sí. Sin embargo, la construcción de un proyecto de promoción de la salud mental por parte del equipo revela otros sentidos a respecto de la promoción de la salud que se asemejan más a una concepción crítica del ideario.

Neste estudo, buscou-se compreender os efeitos da discriminação racial na identidade e subjetividade de mulheres negras atendidas no programa SOS Racismo/Porto Alegre/RS. Essa pesquisa fundamentou-se em um grupo dispositivo, cujo objetivo foi ouvir as narrativas das mulheres que sofreram atos de racismo/discriminação e agenciar outras referências identitárias. O referencial teórico-metodológico utilizado para analisar o material empírico produzido nos grupos foi o das práticas discursivas, entendidas como a forma pela quais as pessoas produzem sentidos para experiências como as da violência racial. Os repertórios interpretativos presentes nos diálogos enunciados pelas mulheres referiam-se à discriminação racial e ao racismo e sinalizavam a construção de estratégias de enfrentamento e resistência. Acreditamos que a intervenção produziu efeitos políticos de reflexão e mudança, na medida em que o grupo construiu novos sentidos para as violências sofridas, transformando a narrativa pessoal em uma denúncia pública. In this study, we investigated the effects of racial discrimination on the identity and subjectivity patterns of black women assisted through the SOS Racism Program in Porto Alegre/RS. The research was based on a discussion group whose objective was to listen to the women's narratives of racial discrimination and agency other identity references. The theoretical and methodological support used to analyze the information was the discursive practice. This practice refers to the way by which people produce meaning in social interactions, like experiences of racial violence. The interpretative repertoires used by the women in the group dialogues were about racial discrimination and racism and pointed to the construction of resistance strategies. We believe that this intervention produces political effects of reflection and change, in the way that the group worked out new meanings for the violence suffered, changing from a personal narrative to a public denounce.

This paper aims at reassessing some evidence on EFL learners’/undergraduates’ perceptions on intercultural exchanges in/between a foreign language (FL) and mother tongue (L1), grounded on an empirical research undertaken in Madeira (1998-1999). This involved a representative number of 12th form Humanities students (secondary school) and first- and second-year undergraduates taking English (Joint Honours) then. The process of interpretation of respondents’ output borrows from a cross-disciplinary framework (Traugott and Pratt 1980, Woods et al. 1996) in a postmodern paradigm of applied research to which Foucault (1972), Bakhtin ([1935] 1990) and Barthes (1975) have left their contribution, while resorting to corpus analysis (Biber et al. 1998, Sinclair 2004). The analysis of some core lexemes, like text, knowledge, and meaning, and other collocations were singled out which have allowed for the identification of recurrent patterns (for example, “informative texts”, “descriptive texts” and “cultural texts”) and the meaning potential associated with them. Among the issues under scrutiny, there will be a focus on both language/culture interface underpinning FL teaching/learning standards, and informants’ affective identification with a foreign language/culture reinforced by the so-called representative cultural artefacts (Byram 1988: 41). This paper presents the constructionist movement as a critical perspective in Social Psychology, which proposes to understand and explain the processes of institutionalization that have made certain facts essentialized. For such, it focuses on the study of discursive practices, regarding language practice as a cause of effects. This language perspective makes research possible that focuses happenings in the interface between the uses of language and the conditions of its production and propagation. The movement indicates the need to redirect research to the regimes of truth that the discursive practices sustain or break and, also, for the relations of power that control, select and organize enunciations. Este artigo apresenta o movimento construcionista como uma perspectiva crítica em Psicologia Social que propõe compreender os processos de institucionalização que tornaram certos acontecimentos essencializados. Para tanto, enfoca o estudo das práticas discursivas, considerando a linguagem como prática que provoca efeitos. Essa perspectiva possibilita estudos que focalizam acontecimentos na interface entre os usos da linguagem e as condições de sua produção e veiculação. O movimento indica que é necessário direcionar pesquisas para os regimes de verdade que as práticas discursivas sustentam ou rompem e, também, para as relações de poder que controlam, selecionam e organizam os enunciados.

O objetivo deste artigo é refletir sobre a factibilidade da aplicação plena dos princípios da integralidade nos serviços de atenção à saúde. Propomos que, para além do nível de abstração, quando analisado a partir da zona caótica das interações cotidianas, o princípio da integralidade é fractal: reflete visões de mundo coerentes em seus microcontextos, mas nem sempre passíveis de considerar as igualmente diversas visões de mundo dos interstícios interpessoais dessas redes de acolhimento e atendimento às demandas em saúde. Para entender essa dinâmica, foi realizado um exercício de análise discursiva, que procurou contrapor a diversidade semântica à variedade de posições de pessoa que se faz presente no cotidiano das práticas de saúde. Iniciamos pela caracterização do ideal da integralidade e suas relações com a demanda, pontuando a diversidade de seus sentidos e tomamos como exemplo documentos voltados à operacionalização do SUS. Em seguida, aprofundamos a reflexão sobre a diversidade semântica de demanda com base em seus significados dicionarizados, definindo, a partir deste exercício, tipos de posições de pessoa em relações dialógicas que envolvem demandas. Para isso, utilizamos uma experiência pessoal recente de internação hospitalar de uma paciente que nos levou a problematizar os dilemas éticos que se apresentam no cuidado a pacientes terminais. The aim of this article is to reflect on the feasibility of applying the principle of integral care to health services in Brazil. We propose that as we leave the level of abstraction and enter the chaos of day-to-day interactions, the notion of integral care is fractal: it reflects world views that are coherent in their micro-contexts, but are not always able to understand the diverse world views present in the interpersonal interactions of the network of care for health demands. In order to understand this complex interpersonal dynamics, an exercise in discursive analysis was carried out to contrast semantic diversity with the variety of person positions that are present in the daily life of health practices. We started by characterizing the ideal of integral care and its relation with health demands examining the diversity of meanings that are present in legislation concerning the Public Health System in Brazil. This analytic exercise was then followed by a dictionary investigation of the semantic diversity of the term demand so as to define a typology of person positions in dialogical interactions involving health demands. To illustrate this, we used a recent personal hospitalization experience of a patient that led us to reflect, also, on the ethical dilemmas that are present in the care of terminal patients.

Este artigo pretende tragar as mudanças verificadas nos discursos produzidos, ñas últimas tres décadas, sobre os bairros degradados na cidade da Amadora na periferia de Lisboa, com especial enfoque no bairro do Alto da Cova da Moura. Explorase como é que os discursos dominantes têmproduzido determinadas realidades sócio-espaciais, as quais se inscrevem numa matriz histórica e socialmente especifica., The imagined ghetto : new spatialities and social marginalization in suburban districts of Lisbon. Over the last decade the appearance of a new discourse showing the formation of 'critical' districts, of ghettos in large town districts in Portugal, played a prominent part in the press and on the local and central political and administrative chess-board. Este texto, que tem origem em minha dissertação de mestrado, se propõe discorrer sobre a genealogia enquanto metodologia, conforme proposta por Michel Foucault. Nesta abordagem, a análise arqueológica do discurso é entendida como a base que dá suporte à genealogia, ao propor a descrição do campo como uma rede formada na inter-relação dos diversos saberes ali presentes, que possibilitam a emergência do discurso como o percebemos. Já a abordagem genealógica busca a origem dos saberes através dos fatores que interferem na sua emergência, permanência e adequação ao campo discursivo como elementos incluídos em um dispositivo político que abre as condições para que os sujeitos possam se constituir imersos em determinadas práticas discursivas. This text, originated from my Master's thesis, aims to dissertate on genealogy as methodology, according to Michel Foucault's proposition. In this approach, the archeological analysis of the speech is understood as the foundation supporting genealogy by suggesting the description of the field as a net formed in the inter-relationship of the several knowledge present, which makes possible the discourse emerge according to our concept. The genealogical approach searches for the origin of the knowledge through the factors interfering in their emergence, maintenance and suitability to the discursive field, as elements included in a political speech opening the conditions to enable the individuals to be immersed in given discursive practices.

The present work aims to clarify the discursive practices of Brazilian scientific literature on chemical pesticides in order to understand, from a historical perspective, which repertoires are available to give meaning to the use of pesticides in Brazil. It further draws a picture of the positions taken in the technical area, from the creation of the “Agrochemicals Law” in 1989 until the present day. A total of 78 articles from ten journals were reviewed using the analysis of the discourses method as well as an overview of the database according to years, authors, and titles. The results show that scientific production is concentered in the south and southeast Brazilian institutions where the authors mostly come from. Their articles analyze presented repertoires that were categorized into three types: "required use of pesticides", "use of pesticides integrated with biological control”, and "no use of pesticides". The results suggest that there is no consensus in the discursive practices of Brazilian scientific literature on agrochemicals. It was concluded that there is in literature the suggestion that integrated pest control could improve the quality of production and lessen impacts on health and the environment. The dominant discourse is still linked to the paradigm that in order to have a high level of food production it is still necessary to use pesticides.

В статье рассматриваются основные интерпретации понятия “успех” в современном российском обществе. С опорой на шкалу, предложенную Г.Л. Тульчинским, в исследовании выделяются успех-преодоление, успех-самопреодоление и успех-призвание. На примере статей, опубликованных в газетах “Известия” и “Российская газета”, анализируются особенности дискурсивных практик конструирования указанных видов успеха в геронтологическом ракурсе. В русле социального конструкционизма в работе применяется метод критического дискурс-анализа, предложенный научными школами Н. Фэрклоу и Р. Водак. В ходе исследования выявлены особенности дискурса успешности в трех указанных вариациях в геронтологическом контексте, а также продемонстрирована многогранность понятия “успех”, несводимость его семантического поля к материальному аспекту.

В статье рассматриваются основные интерпретации понятия “успех” в современном российском обществе. С опорой на шкалу, предложенную Г.Л. Тульчинским, в исследовании выделяются успех-преодоление, успех-самопреодоление и успех-призвание. На примере статей, опубликованных в газетах “Известия” и “Российская газета”, анализируются особенности дискурсивных практик конструирования указанных видов успеха в геронтологическом ракурсе. В русле социального конструкционизма в работе применяется метод критического дискурс-анализа, предложенный научными школами Н. Фэрклоу и Р. Водак. В ходе исследования выявлены особенности дискурса успешности в трех указанных вариациях в геронтологическом контексте, а также продемонстрирована многогранность понятия “успех”, несводимость его семантического поля к материальному аспекту.

What notion of action is compatible with constructionist research? Taking this question as a provocation, we use a study carried out to evaluate the role of the National Aids Committee (CNAIDS) of the Brazilian Ministry of Health as a starting point for the formulation of a concept of action that might be compatible with a constructionist position. Starting by questioning the classic notion of action, it goes on to propose alternative conceptualisations of action, exploring the implications of notions such as Varela’s enaction for constructionist research. The CNAIDS research is used as an example of possible ways of conducting intervention-research with a constructionist spin. The expression intervention-research is used in this paper as a discursive strategy to emphasize that all research has consequences and is necessarily a process of making sense of events in our life., ¿Cuál es la noción de acción que guía a la investigación construccionista? Tomando esta pregunta como base, se recurre a una investigación realizada para evaluar el papel de la Comisión Nacional de SIDA (CNAIDS) del Ministerio de Salud de Brasil como punto de partida para formular un concepto de acción compatible con la postura construccionista. Se comienza problematizando la noción clásica de acción, pasando a continuación a proponer alternativas, explorando las implicaciones de nociones tales como la de en-acción, discutida por Varela, para la investigación construccionista. La investigación sobre la CNAIDS se usa como ejemplo de las maneras posibles de conducir la investigación-intervención. La expresión investigación-intervención se usa en este artículo como estrategia discursiva para enfatizar que toda investigación tiene consecuencias, siendo necesariamente un proceso de producción de sentidos sobre los actos de nuestras vidas.
