Lakes on the Tibetan Plateau,which are rarely influenced by disturbance of human activities and mainly controlled by glacier melting and evaporation caused by climate change,are a typical study area of global climate and environment change.Remote sensing technology to monitor lake changes across the plateau has important significance to global climate and environment change research.This paper developed an iterative modern lake extraction method on remote sensing images using index calculation and spatial difference comprehensively,to detect lake changes dynamically;and developed a semi-automatic paleo-shoreline extraction method combined with DEM,so as to analyze paleo-lake change.Combining the two methods,we can clearly and completely get the lake changes across the Tibetan Plateau since the ancient and modern ages.Finally,we took Dagze Co as an example to proceed with the methods,and analyzed its shrinkage conditions since the latest 25 years and since the Great Lake Period.

The KF/Al2O3 catalysts were prepared by an impregnation method and characterized by X-ray diffraction and thermogravimetric analysis. Their catalytic performances were evaluated in the transesterification of palm oil with methanol. The effects of the load ratio of KF to Al2O3, molar ratio of methanol/oil, amount of catalyst, reaction time, and temperature on product yields were investigated. The catalytic behavior was examined in relation to physiochemical properties of the catalysts.

Most of the traditional just-noticeable-distortion (JND) models in pixel domain compute the JND threshold by incorporating the spatial luminance adaptation effect and the textures contrast masking effect. Recently, with the rapid development of the computable models of visual attention, researchers started to improve the JND model by considering visual saliency of images, a foveated spatial JND model (FSJND) was proposed by incorporating the traditional visual characteristics and fovea characteristic of human eyes to enhance JND thresholds. However, the thresholds computed by the FSJND model may be overestimated for some high resolution images. In this paper, we proposed a new JND profile in pixel domain, in which a multi-level modulation function is built to reflect the effect of hierarchically selective visual attention on JND thresholds. The contrast masking is also considered in our modulation function to obtain more accurate JND thresholds. Compared with the lasted JND profiles, the proposed model can tolerate more distortion and has much better perceptual quality. The proposed JND model can be easily applied in many areas, such as compression, error protection, and so on.

Most of the traditional JND models in DCT domain compute the JND threshold by incorporating the spatial contrast sensitivity function, the luminance adaptation effect and the contrast masking effect. How to integrate visual attention effect into the traditional JND models is still an open problem. In this paper, we proposed a new DCT-domain JND profile, in which a combined modulation function is built, based on the image saliency and textural characteristic to describe the visual attention effect and contrast masking effect on JND Threshold in DCT domain. Experimental results show that the proposed model can tolerate more distortion with the same perceptual quality, compared with the latest DCT-domain JND model. In terms of PSNR, the improvement of tolerated distortion is 0.54dB on average.
