The morality of students in the era of modernity has been reduced so sharply. The phenomenon of juvenile delinquency is mushrooming, unbridled promiscuity, ethics that are far from the customs of manners, weak speech, lack of discipline and work ethic are of little concern to Muslim intellectuals to solve the problematic. It is necessary to formulate the right learning steps, in order to provide alternative solutions in directing student activities in a more positive direction. This study aims to formulate learning steps through the Method of Al-Ishlah Wa At-Tagyir by Sholeh Sulthan, in order to realize individual diversity. By using a qualitative approach and literature review method. The results of this study show that the formulation of learning steps through the Al-Ishlah Wa At-Tagyir method is divided into two stages, namely the pre-instructional stage and the instructional stage. The pre-instructional stage includes sky management, positive paradigms, earth management and gradual learning. While the instructional stage includes providing motivation, observation- analysis- solutive, learning with optimal effort, and prevention. The formulation of learning steps through the Method of Al-Ishlah Wa At-Tagyir is directed towards achieving better individual serendipity.

The skills gap is a relatively widely accepted claim among employers in virtually all job sectors which states that new college graduates are frequently deficient in skills that are expected to be present for success in entry-level work (Archer & Davison, 2008; Cunningham & Villasenor, 2016; Finch et al., 2013; Hart Research Associates, 2013; Robles, 2012). Within this, employers contend that the skills most essential for new professionals to possess are universal and broad-based in nature as opposed to being relegated to subject-specific knowledge pertaining directly to the industries they represent (Cunningham & Villasenor, 2016; Finch et al., 2013; Hart Research Associates, 2013; Robles, 2012). It was viewed that the examination herein should focus upon the efforts incurred by the upper echelon of higher education towards meeting these labor market needs. A case study approach was implemented to examine the differential approaches taken in multiple academic departments within a single highly selective research university in gearing curriculum towards the desires of the workforce at large. Specific attention was paid to the general education aspects of the programs under the belief that the skills in greatest demand are non-discipline specific and should therefore be programmed into the one area of the undergraduate degree that is relatively common to all programs. Eighteen semi-structured interviews were conducted with faculty and staff spread across six different undergraduate schools, with each possessing active roles related to curricular planning and revision. The interviews sought to explore questions related to the curricular structure and efforts made within it associated with skills development to meet workforce demands in order to better understand the different influences that impact curricular formation. Within this inquiry, five major themes emerged: (1) Graduates are perceived to have a high level of preparedness for entry-level employment, (2) there are varying understandings of and perceived purposes of general education, (3) articulating employability skills to students through the curriculum and instruction can be a significant tool in helping students connect classroom learning to employment, (4) there were many differences in faculty perceptions of what skills were most important for students to master for employment, varying by school and major of enrollment, and (5) there are a wide variety of strong influences on the development of curriculum that can prepare students for the labor market. Recommendations towards enhancing the cohesiveness of general education within the degree, building alignment between the individuals crafting curriculum and those instructing it, and embracing programming efforts that support greater workforce preparation within the undergraduate curriculum are all offered. Furthermore, the applicability of the skills gap narrative to elite universities and the approaches they take towards building employability are also discussed.

The study investigates the correlation between teacher education graduate’s academic performance and Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) rating. The study employs a descriptive design. Data on academic performance was retrieved from the Registrar's office while the LET ratings were obtained from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Cebu City office. The researcher used Mean and Percentages in describing the performance, and Pearson Product Moment Coefficient Correlation in determining the significant of the relationship between academic performance and LET rating. The study revealed that the Physical Science and Filipino Graduates’ academic performance did not correlate with their LET performance rating while English and Filipino graduates obtained significant results. Hence, the graduates’ academic performance does not indicate graduates’ success in the LET.

Research on disproportionality in special education has largely overlooked how students of color with disabilities are less likely to spend time in general education classrooms than White peers with disabilities. Although disparities in general education inclusion for students of color with disabilities raise larger concerns about educational inequality within schools, when these gaps begin to emerge and what factors may explain them remain less understood due to methodological challenges. In leveraging individual-level administrative data from a large school district over a 10-year period, this longitudinal study found general education inclusion declines for all students as they age. However, Black students with disabilities experienced the least inclusion, whereas Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) students with disabilities were included in the general education classroom more than Latinx and White peers with disabilities; this disparity was largely associated with academic test score differences and disability type.

Рассмотрена проблема дефицита педагогических кадров, возникшая в связи с введением всеобуча, в аспекте мер, принимавшихся Наркомпросом по увеличению приема и снижению отсева студентов педагогических техникумов, проанализированы изменения, вводившиеся в образовательный процесс с целью его качественного совершенствования после количественного скачка. В работе на основе анализа документов Наркомпроса детально представлен сравнительно малоизученный фрагмент истории отечественного профессионального образования, анализируются нормативные положения среднего профессионального педагогического образования, принятые в 1930–1933 гг., постановка кадровой работы и организация деятельности учителей педагогических техникумов., The article presents an analysis of the main directions of reforming the system of secondary vocational pedagogical education in the period from 1930 to 1933. The problem of the shortage of teaching staff, which arose in connection with the introduction of universal education, is considered in the aspect of measures taken by the People’s Commissariat of Education to increase the admission and reduce the dropout of students of pedagogical colleges, the changes introduced into the educational process for the purpose of its qualitative improvement after a quantitative leap are analyzed. Based on the analysis of the documents of the People’s Commissariat of Education, a relatively little-studied fragment of the history of domestic vocational education is presented in detail, the normative provisions of secondary vocational pedagogical education adopted in 1930-1933, the formulation of personnel work and the organization of the work of teachers of pedagogical colleges are analyzed.

Narrative as one of English text genres functions to entertain readers. Some students do not achieve the purpose of narrative when they make it. It may happen because they do not understand the main purpose of narrative and lack of information on what should be and not should be put in the text. To overcome the problem, narrative was taught in different way by utilizing the digital form, and it is known as digital storytelling. Digital storytelling is expected to help students write narrative better so they can achieve the main purpose of the text. The main concern of this research is to find out the effect of digital storytelling in teaching narrative. It applied case study method with qualitative approach in the analysis. The data was gathered from 45 students who worked as the subject of the research. The result showed that 40 students (88,89%) felt digital storytelling help them to understand narrative better. This result implies that digital storytelling is proven to be beneficial in teaching narrative

This study aims to explore an analysis of the effects of using the TikTok application as a new learning model in the arts and culture sector during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The author observes that there is a considerable change in behavior among the community, especially the millennial generation in the use of technology as a bridge for online learning, namely the increasing interest of millennials in using the TikTok application lately. The research study on this occasion was carried out with a quantitative approach, where data collection was taken using a questionnaire technique. The measurement technique uses a Likert scale from a range of 1-5. The object of the research was focused on junior high school students, which was carried out using the Random Sampling Technique in which 103 participants were recorded. The Research Question is focused on exploring the relationship of this application with a new learning approach to arts and culture. The results showed that as many as 62.1% of respondents strongly agreed to help adjust traditional dance moves, 70.9% helped memorize movement choreography, 68% helped to recognize modern dance, and 57.3% agreed that this application helps understand cultural arts learning.

This article aims to determine the concepts as well as some Islamic construction ornaments that contain Islamic values. Art and spirituality will not be complete if they do not touch on architecture, so Islamic architecture has an important meaning from the perspective of spirituality. In the 21st century, there are architectural issues in how buildings respond to the environment. Therefore, buildings including ornaments must be environmentally friendly and apply the concept of simplicity design and apply appropriate technology. The research used is library research with descriptive methods. The result of this research is that the art of decoration is one of the most important character building elements in Islamic architecture. Types of typical Middle Eastern ornaments include calligraphy, geometric ornaments, and arabesk.

The spread of radicalism never stops in the span of the history of Muslims from the past until now. Although radicalismis often associatedwith Islam, thereis no fact that Islam is a religion that teaches peace, there has never been an element of religious coercion against others and does not condone the practice of using violence in spreading religious understanding. Meanwhile, radicalism is an understanding that seeks to impose religious opinions, desires, and ideals to realize certain goals through the path of violence. The spread of radicalism can be a real threat to all circles, including the younger generation. The younger generation is more likely to be involved in radical groups, in addition the younger generation is often the main target in the spread of radical understanding because so far the younger generation is very easy to influence. But actually the younger generation has a very important role in preventing the spread of radicalism, considering the younger generation is the next generation of the nation that will challenge the future of the nation. Therefore, the role of the younger generation becomes very important in maintaining unity, unity and preventing the spread of radicalism.

Islamophobia is an issue raised by Islamic antagonist groups to portray Islam as a radical, anarchist and primitive religion. Secularism is a thought product with the concept of separating religion and the world, which is being forced to become an ideology that is accepted internationally. China, as an influential economic country in the world, provides penetration with its economic strength so that ideas that are contrary to Islamic principles dominate global ideologies. No matter how great an ideology is, it turns out to have a fragility, this is what the Chinese State has forgotten. Success in the economic field has in fact caused problems in various sectors. This article presents the historical facts of how the fall of China's power was due to over-imposing an ideology that contradicts the holy Islamic shari'ah. The research method used in this research is descriptive analysis method. The research data were collected from various sources, then analyzed using the literature review technique. The results showed that the influence of cultural values, selfishness, high nationalism culture accompanied by the political heat of the country, became a barrier for Chinese people to accept the values of the spirit of faith contained in Islamic teachings.

Involvement of children with special educational needs in inclusive education at schools of general education in the Republic of Azerbaijan is one of the priority issues of the state. Many reforms in the education system, particularly at schools need to be carried out in order to promote inclusive education at schools. This research aim to emphasizes the importance of the implementation of the student-centered education approach at the general education system for making schools inclusive in the country. As a ground for this, the article having cited from scientific papers of different researchers, points out that, for example: a student-centered education gives an opportunity for a school to meet different needs of students and take specifics of each student into consideration. The level of progress of the student-centered learning was assessed in the conducted research through studying teachers’ instructional methods at schools operating in the education system of Azerbaijan. As a result of the survey and focus group discussions conducted with teachers within this research, it was revealed that although teachers understand the positive impact of a student’s learning through student-centered methods, in most classes they continue teaching lessons in a teacher-centered style due to a number of school or out-of school factors. The result is, the reason for teacher-centered classes still being conducted at schools is not only the incompetency of teachers, but as a result, it is not possible to achieve the development of student-centered learning through improving only teachers’ skills. There are many factors that obstruct the change of a teacher-centered learning to a student-centered learning in the classroom, that are being identified as a school culture by this article and the classification of factors forming this culture is being presented to readers here.

The objective of this study is to examine the French-speaking sub-system of general education in Cameroon, with the aim of proposing a Cameroonian academic system now equipped with an orientation pedagogy capable of valuing the different local potentials that can suddenly accelerate the emergence of the country. To carry out this study, numerous investigations were made in the field. The plentiful results obtained have been carefully analyzed. The orientation of learners in Cameroon is not done on the basis of their real potential, but rather on the basis of foreign languages; these are German, Spanish, and Chinese. At different levels, we see an overload of learners with subjects which, instead of reinforcing them in what they would like to do in life, rather demotivate them. Learners finish their respective courses with a full head, without any skills. The informal sector is the only environment where they can earn on a daily basis. The practice of trades in this sector is responsible of many urban disorders observed today in the cities of the country. This urban disorder is almost always the precursor of many accidents, sometimes resulting in the death of men. For young people who did not have the courage to engage themselves in informal sector activities, crime, drug abuse, violence, homosexuality, the search of "sugar mummy and daddy", " gigolo habit ”, illegal immigration, prostitution, to name but a few, are the main routes out. The following path is proposed for the new orientation vision in Cameroon: Observation sub-cycle (first and second year), Orientation sub-cycle (third and fourth year artistic, third and fourth year literary, third and fourth year science), Specialization cycle (fifth year artistic, fifth year literary, fifth year science, sixth and seventh year artistic, sixth and seventh year literary, Sixth year applied sciences, sixth year fundamental sciences, seventh year applied science, seventh year fundamental sciences). The new vision of managing the French-speaking sub-system of general education in Cameroon highlights a new reality; in fact, from the orientation sub-cycle, the teaching units will be preparing the corresponding trades. Cameroon has many assets to succeed in this process.

On the example of the Samara Region, the question of the influence of the processes of optimizing the structure of the rural general education network on improving the quality of education of students in rural areas is investigated. The relevance of the processes, the elaboration of the topic through the presentation of research by Russian and foreign authors devoted to the development of social and educational space, social and educational networks are considered. The definitions of the educational network and optimization of the structure of the general educational network are given; the tendencies of changes in the structure of the rural general education network of the Samara Region are traced since the end of the 90-ies of the last century on the example of 19 schools of the Samara region subjected to reorganization. The analysis of changes in the quality of education of students based on the results of the main state exam and the unified state exam depending on the type of optimization is presented: reorganization of a small school, which is an independent legal entity, into a branch of another school; change in the level of educational programs being implemented.

Evolving digital technologies are infiltrating schools wave after wave. The changes taking place are viewed as the schools’ digital renewal process (SDRP). The SDRP is complex (multidimensional). It includes changes in the educational environment (physical and virtual), the educational process, and the way the school operates. The SDRP goes uneven, with individual schools at different stages. One-time observation of the SDRP allows you to fix its current state (statics). The longitudinal observations allows you to see changes in the schools’ digital renewal (kinematics). The connection of the observed changes with the impact on the general education system makes it possible to discuss the development of digital renewal under the influence of individual control actions (dynamics). The stages of penetration of digital technologies into the work of the school: computerization, early and mature informatization, digital transformation (transition to the “Smart School”) can be considered as the stages of maturity of the SDRP. The article discusses a framework for describing the processes of digital renewal of schools in an evolving digital environment and an assessment of the SDRP’s maturity.

The General Education Development (GED) certificate is recognized as a credible alternative to a high school diploma in the US. In this paper, we use detailed administrative data from the state of Kentucky to measure the efficacy of a GED degree. We examine the association between the GED college readiness and early post-secondary academic performance. Following previous work in this area, we address selection issues by focusing on a sample of students who are identified as at-risk prior to high school entry. Our results suggest the GED credential is not a credible signal of PSE readiness, particularly in the area of mathematics. GED graduates attain a lower first semester GPA and are also less likely to re-enroll in second semester courses. Differences in the highest level of high school math coursework between GED holders and traditional graduates account for a majority of the observed GED related math-readiness disparities. We also test whether the substantial changes made to the GED exam in 2014 improved student readiness in PSE institutions, however we find no meaningful improvements in PSE math readiness.

Introduction. Digital transformation of the educational space resulted in a new problem area associated with the search for solutions to eliminate the existing gap between the pace of digitalization of society and education and the preparation of teachers to work in the digital environment in the context of digitalization of the educational process. The article is aimed at monitoring and analyzing the possible risks of digital transformation in the general education system. Materials and methods. During the study of the possible risks of digital transformation in the general education system, a survey among teachers of general education organizations of Krasnodar region was conducted (122 people). The professional standard "Teacher (Pedagogical Activity in the Field of Preschool, Primary General, Basic General, Secondary General Education) (Educator, Teacher)" dated October 18, 2013 No. 544n and the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education (FSES HE 44.03.01 Pedagogical Education) were analyzed and compared. The results of the study. The study aimed at determining the possible risks of digital transformation in the general education system showed that a significant number of respondents noted the following factors as risk zones: technical working conditions of teachers (21.3% of teachers are not provided with the necessary equipment), their ambiguous attitude to distance education (against 72.1% of teachers) and digital transformation of education (against 29.5% of teachers), incomplete understanding of trends in the development of modern education, insufficient level of mastering information and communication technologies (more than 55% of teachers possess ICT at an average or low level). The identified risks are not fully reflected in the professional standard of the teacher, which gives grounds for its significant revision and updating. Discussion and conclusion. Based on the results of the survey of teachers the following recommendations are offered: a) to provide the subjects of the educational process with the necessary computer and telecommunications equipment with high-speed Internet access; b) to create optimal working conditions for teaching staff contributing to the improvement of professional competencies under digitalization; c) to involve more teachers in the development of academic materials posted on Russian educational online resources; d) to implement educational and enlightenment activities among teachers to form ideas about the directions, opportunities and prospects of digital transformation of general education, to generate a new way of thinking of a modern teacher under digitalization.

This study conducted a basic learning performance diagnosis for each College English course falling under the purview of basic general education. In line with the five core competencies of I University, the area of foreign language in basic general education focused on communication competency. This study explored the reactions of students taking College English courses to examine whether each course matched the core competency focused on communication, especially the basic learning competence for English communication skills and experiences acquired through the knowledge provided and what changes were needed in the curriculum to improve students’ English communication competence.Through a survey, educational improvements recognized by students who participated in College English I (reading), College English II (listening), and College English III (speaking) classes were compared and analyzed. The performance diagnosis for the study aimed to measure learning performance obtained through each course and utilize it as a basic mean for improving curricula for College English courses. For performance diagnosis, the Learning Performance Diagnosis Tool developed by the Korea National Institute for General Education’s General Education Standards in 2016 was selected. Diagnosis questions from the areas of “basic learning competency” and “knowledge and experience” were selected, and each question was measured using a 5-point Likert scale. The performance diagnosis survey involved 1,366 of 2,063 students (66.2%) in all three courses.Based on the analysis result, students reported that their English communication competency had improved in each course. This result could be interpreted as indicating that the core competency pursed in the area of foreign language at I University and the direction of education pursued in College English courses were appropriate. However, slightly different from basic learning competence area, the performance indicators relating to class activities questions in knowledge and experience area were found to be lower than that of other questions. During the semester, online and offline classes had been conducted depending on the COVID-19 situation, and it can be assumed that this situation resulted in many inconveniences in terms of utilizing effective class activities where students could interact with the professor and classmates. It also seemed urgent to develop effective non-face-to-face or online class activities to prepare for the COVID-19 pandemic era.

Korean universities have sought sustainable future-oriented liberal arts education while exploring the role of liberal arts education in the era of the 4th industrial revolution. Even so, unresolved issues arising from historical development should be overcome to take a great step toward innovating liberal arts education. The purpose of this study is to identify problems that appeared in the historical development process of liberal arts education at Korean universities and to derive overcoming tasks. The historical development of liberal arts education at Korean universities can be divided into three stages: Formation Period (1945-1972), Experimental Period (1973-2009), and Autonomous Period (2010-present). The issues that emerged in this development process have two characteristics: confusion in the identity of liberal arts education and development through government control and support. For the sustainable future of liberal arts education, it is necessary to overcome misleading perceptions that hinder the realization of the true meaning of liberal arts education and establish the identity of liberal arts education. Universities should secure autonomy from the government and more actively strengthen and innovate liberal arts education.

Foreign language courses for General Education generally suffer from poor conditions when it comes to the promotion of the communicative competence of learners. This is due to the predominance of frontal teaching, an insufficient number of lessons, different learner language portfolios, etc. However, learners present many advantages for language acquisition, e.g., the linguistic foundation provided by their mother tongue, their world knowledge, and their English learning experience. Therefore, the limits of the foreign language course for General Education may be overcome by the learners themselves. Thus, such courses should not focus on communicative competence, but rather should serve to strengthen the characteristics of General Education. Above all, motivating learners and promoting autonomous learning are the most important tasks that foreign language courses for General Education should strive to achieve.

Introduction. This study analyses how changing requirements for results and processes of general education determine new or updated roles and responsibilities of teachers in the context of building a qualification framework in the field of education. The purpose of the research is to develop and test a technology for modeling roles and responsibilities and corresponding professional qualifications of general education teachers determined by changing requirements of the labor market and employers. Materials and Methods. The study follows the process approach and methodology of structural and functional analysis of professional practice. The authors applied the following research methods: modeling, questionnaires, approbation, comparative analysis, generalization, classification, interpretation as well as methods of graphical representation of information in data processing and interpretation. In order to collect empirical data, the authors developed a questionnaire through modeling roles and responsibilities of teaching staff based on legislative materials as well as theoretical and practical evidence reflecting the requirements for processes and results of general education in the Russian Federation. Results. The article presents a technology for modeling prospective roles and responsibilities and corresponding professional qualifications of general education teachers developed and tested by the authors. The system of current roles and responsibilities of subject teachers, class teachers and academic counselors has been established. The authors developed a set of prospective roles and responsibilities for education practitioners, the institutionalization of which is required for an appropriate response of a general education setting to changing requirements for processes and results of its work. The study reveals how employers evaluate the importance of current roles and responsibilities of education practitioners and the demand for prospective ones. The authors summarize the ideas of employers about pursuing a career in the field of education. The study reveals an apparent discrepancy between the employers’ recognition of diversification of professional activities within educational settings and the stable professional and social stereotype of a ‘universal teacher’. The hypothesis about the hybridization of teachers’ roles and responsibilities as a basic way of developing the qualification framework in the field of education has been tested and confirmed. Conclusions. The efficiency of the developed technology for modeling prospective roles and responsibilities and corresponding professional qualifications of general education teachers in accordance with the changing requirements of the labor market has been proved.

This study was conducted to develop evaluation criteria to manage and improve the quality of the university's General Education curriculum. To this end, the evaluation area and evaluation criteria for the management of the quality of education were first derived through literature research. The evaluation tool obtained feasibility of feasibility verification and research results through two revised Delphi surveys (N=10). as well as through meetings with practitioners(N=7) in charge of quality management of the liberal curriculum. The results are as follows. First, this study developed a systematic evaluation criteria for the entire curriculum, such as curriculum development, support, operation, performance and improvement, rather than fragmenting the curriculum based on the CIPP evaluation model. Second, this study applied modified Delphi techniques to manage the quality of the General Education curriculum to derive a total of seven sub-items and 17 evaluation criteria. Also, the content feasibility (CVI) and inter-evaluator agreement(IRA) results developed evaluation criteria with a validity score above 0.80. Based on these findings, the university presented measures and implications for managing the quality of the liberal arts curriculum.

The purpose of this work was an empirical study of assessing the quality of inclusive education in the regions of the Russian Federation. The article presents the results of monitoring the quality of the implementation of inclusive education in general educational organizations of the regions of the Russian Federation. The criteria for a comprehensive assessment of the quality of inclusive education are highlighted. Discrepancies in assessments of the quality of individual parameters of inclusive education in the regions were revealed, ways of increasing its effectiveness were outlined.

O ile ta pierwsza nie wymaga wyjaśnienia swojego celu, o tyle druga już tak: ma to być nauczanie ukierunkowane na wykształcenie postaw proeuropejskich. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest wykazanie, iż edukacja europejska może i powinna być elementem nauczania przedmiotu podstawy przedsiębiorczości w szkole ponadpodstawowej, choć nie jest to przewidziane jej podstawą programową. W części pierwszej przeanalizowane zostały argumenty świadczące o zasadności uwzględnienia elementów edukacji europejskiej w treściach nauczania podstaw przedsiębiorczości, w tym poparte analizą podstawy programowej kształcenia ogólnego dla liceum ogólnokształcącego i technikum. W części drugiej pojawiła się syntetyczna analiza treści „europejskich”, jakie mogą lub powinny być zrealizowane w ramach tego przedmiotu. Część trzecia została natomiast poświęcona metodom, środkom i narzędziom, jakie mogą być użyte w czasie „lekcji europejskich” na lekcjach przedsiębiorczości.

The paper gives a holistic picture of the women entrepreneurship in India and its gender differentials by using various national-level data. It aims to analyse the condition of overall women employment, operational and economic characteristics, access to credit and other infrastructural facilities and entrepreneurial activity of the women-owned enterprises. The study reveals that most of the women are engaged in self-financed, small own account enterprises, without any hired workers, and are operating from within the household premises, few even without having a fixed location. These, along with the lack of access to basic infrastructural facilities, signify women entrepreneurship as necessity-driven and not opportunity-led. It also notes the persistence presence of religious and cultural norms in determining women’s participation as entrepreneurs. In addition, the paper aims to study the determinants of the women entrepreneurship in India by using a logistic regression model. The model establishes more chance of engagement of women entrepreneurs in informal sector home-based work and the enterprises with less than six workers. The model also reveals the increasing chance of women entrepreneurship with increasing general education and establishes the need for formal vocational training. At the end, the study proposes to look at women’s entrepreneurship from the macroeconomic understanding of women’s employment and work and identify policies to ensure that women entrepreneurship does not remain only as distress-driven employment, but become opportunity-led.

The article shows the importance of the system of assessing the knowledge of students in English lessons through the introduction of modern assessment technologies. Attention is focused on the importance of the assessment stage as a fundamental one in the educational process system. The author emphasizes that the assessment method is not only a way to diagnose students ' academic performance, but also an effective tool for improving the quality of the educational process as a whole. In this regard, the activity of an English teacher in the application of popular, scientifically based assessment systems is the key to achieving the ultimate goal – to be the main motivator and teach a child a foreign language. In addition, this approach to the organization of the lesson allows you to increase the activity of students as objects of pedagogical influence. It is also emphasized that the assessment method is not only a method of diagnosing student performance, but also an effective means of improving the quality of general education. The article discusses in detail such types of criteria assessment as formative assessment, summative assessment, diagnostic assessment and feedback. Each approach is characterized by its significance and specificity in the educational process.

Обозначены основные траектории цифровизации региональной системы общего образования, выделенные на основе мониторинга практики Томской области по развитию цифровой образовательной среды. Определены группы цифровых компетенций педагогических кадров системы общего образования, выявлены профессиональные дефициты педагогических работников и управленческого персонала общеобразовательных организаций Томской области путем использования авторских диагностических материалов на основе задач кейсового типа. The main directions of digital transformation and modernization of general education system in Tomsk region in the frame of implementation of “Education” national project and “Digital educational environment” local project are observered in the paper. The regional general education system is characterized. The practice and experience of its phased digitalization are described. Some fundamental federal and regional regulatory legal acts that determine the strategy to develop digitalization of the general education system are analyzed. The digital competencies of management personnel and pedagogical employees of educational organizations, which are necessary for effective cooperation and organization of the educational process in the context of creating a unified digital educational environment in the region, have been investigated. On the basis of the study, the groups of digital competencies for the teaching staff in general education system have been identified, and the qualitative characteristics of digital competencies necessary for the systemic and effective digital transformation of the general education system in the region have been formulated. The author’s diagnostic materials have been developed and described using case-type tasks, focused on identifying teachers’ professional deficiencies, corresponding to three groups of digital competencies. Examples of case-type tasks aimed at identifying professional deficits are given. Based on the data obtained, an analysis has been carried out, conclusions about the skills of mastering digital technologies, the ability to effectively use digital resources and services in the educational process have been described. Based on the results of the study, the tasks and prospects of the digital transformation of the general education system of Tomsk region have been identified.

The article considers the issues of the processes of merging, consolidation, and unification of various educational organizations (preschool educational organizations and municipal general education schools) into educational complexes (on the example of Moscow and the Moscow region). The accumulated experience of the existence of educational complexes is summarized, the positive and negative aspects of the association of educational organizations in general education are described. Among some positive results, the availability and opening of additional high schools were noted; accessibility, openness and diversity of specialized classes; some "strong" schools managed to pull up more "weak" schools. Among the negative aspects of the association, the following are highlighted: the gap in continuity between various links: primary, secondary and senior; low psychological safety of participants in the educational process in educational complexes; the achievements of schoolchildren in different divisions of the educational complex and in different classes are uneven and can vary greatly; additional paid education for children is additionally costly for their parents; the possibility of undermining the psychosocial and age-related aspects of normal socialization and personal development of a student due to the heavy workload of academic subjects; disproportionate funding between the structural divisions of the complex; reduction of teacher rates; destruction of a unique director's corps (directors and his deputies within one school as an established team of professionals); loss of the individuality of the educational organization, established values and traditions; a preschool educational organization can become, as it were ,an "appendage" of the school; with a large number of children in the educational complex, the phenomenon of depersonalization can occur, students become a "gray mass" , etc. It is emphasized that not only economic and managerial efficiency is important, but also pedagogical. Education specialists need to take into account the existing shortcomings of already operating educational complexes in order, as a result, to achieve the goals and content of education, primarily for students.

The article analyzes the regulatory framework for future electricians’ professional training in the repair and maintenance of electrical equipment in vocational education institutions. A typical basic structure for the training of skilled workers has been presented in the article. Subjects that are included in general professional training, professional-theoretical training, professional-practical training are indicated. It has been emphasized that the standard basic structure establishes the total amount of time and its division into sections of working curricula of vocational training in professions for which the state standards of vocational education or standard curricula are not approved. The educational institution on the basis of the Standard basic structure independently determines the forms and methods of training, the term of vocational training, the content and frequency of control overtraining. According to the author, the distribution of general and vocational subjects should be as follows: general education creates a basis for general technical, and that, in turn, for special vocational. Ways to improve the educational process in vocational education institutions have been outlined, taking into account the problem of the relationship between general education and vocational training. It is emphasized that the relationship of general and vocational education ensures the formation of professionally significant qualities of the student's personality, because it contributes to the formation of a positive attitude to work in general, to his profession, which becomes the primary source of creative personality of the future specialist. The problem of handling solid municipal waste, which is formed during the life of a modern person, is becoming more and more urgent every day. The growth of consumption in modern society entails an increase in the formation of waste, which must no longer be stored, but subjected to recycling or recycling for further use. The solution of this problem, in addition to the technical and organizational component, is possible by forming a culture of solid municipal waste management (hereinafter MSW) among the population, that is, the formation of an ecological culture. The article describes the implementation of the social project “Organization of environmental education and formation of environmental culture of the younger generation in the field of solid municipal waste management” of the Transbaikal State University. During the implementation of the project, the level of environmental culture of schoolchildren was studied by testing in accordance with age. The developed educational and educational program, which includes a set of measures for training and environmental education of general education organization students, helped to motivate them to properly handle waste and form a responsible attitude to nature. Diagnostics formation level of the ecological culture of the younger generation allowed us to state the presence of a problem, namely, the insufficient (low and average) formation level of the ecological culture of general education organization students. Environmental classes and actions allowed students to form an idea of the problems of waste disposal, as well as their understanding of the need for separate collection and recycling of waste. Environmental education of the younger generation has changed their attitude to the problem of separate waste collection and contributed to the formation of environmental consciousness. This article proposes the use of knowledge of space studies in the school educational practice. It allows for implementation of obligatory content and skills indicated in the core curriculum for general education. Shaping the spatial imagination and aesthetic sensitivity is accompanied by the development of both social and manual skills, while the construction of miniature buildings by students is a convenient starting point for a discussion on social and cultural changes.

The study aimed to identify the inclusion of Artificial Intelligence (IA) concepts and applications in the content of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) textbooks in Saudi general education. The study adopted the descriptive approach using the method of content analysis. To achieve the purpose of the study, a content analysis tool was developed, and the ICT textbooks were analyzed. The study results indicated that the concepts and applications of AI were available in the content of the intermediate school books in varying overall proportions: (3.46%) in 7th grade, (6.7%) in 8th grade, and (10%) in 9th grade. Additionally, the AI concepts and applications were available in secondary ICT textbooks content: (15%) in 11th grade and (18%) in both 10th-12th grades. The study recommended reconsidering the inclusion of IA concepts and its applications in the ICT textbooks content for the intermediate and secondary educational levels and increasing the inclusion of the AI concepts and applications with transforming from teaching ICT alone in the curricula to focusing more on computing beside the ICT.

Today in society there is a need for artificial intelligence that teaches schoolchildren through oral communication, questions and answers. In the first quarter of the 2020-2021 academic year, secondary school teachers in Kazakhstan spent more time checking students' written responses compared to traditional teaching in previous years. At this time, the teachers noted that there was not enough time to verbally explain the lessons and provide high-quality oral feedback to all students. To solve this problem, we propose to use an artificial intelligence neural network to verbally explain the topic of the lesson in an online learning platform. The proposed article analyses and investigates the methodology for the implementation of oral teaching of schoolchildren using artificial intelligence neural networks in online learning in general education schools. The neural network recognises a school textbook and processes it in a text and audio editor. oral explanation to the student of the theoretical material from the textbook alternates with the assessment of the student's voice response. An online demonstration of ways to solve programming problems is carried out in an online editor installed on an online platform. The proposed online platform can be effectively used in traditional face-to-face education.

This article tells about the updated educational program, which gave a breakthrough in the field of education in our country, as an education system in a new format. That is, the article provides a brief description of the types of work performed in this area. In accordance with the research methodology, each historical period of the main mission of general education is described. Further it is told about the principles of Kazakh scientists, which today in the educational process is widely called them the core of this system. In addition, the results of an open questionnaire obtained from secondary school teachers are presented, based on the "Opinions of secondary school teachers on the updated education system" and a diagram is constructed based on the data obtained. The article summarizes the steps that will be taken as a continuation of this program to find their place as learners in the international educational arena.

The article considers normative legal acts and, on their basis, draws a conclusion about the need to improve legal regulation of general education and vocational training of persons sentenced to imprisonment. We substantiate that it is expedient that penal enforcement legislation should clearly define the subjects engaged in attracting convicts to the specified means of reformation, securing the rights and obligations of these subjects, determining the procedure for releasing convicts from various requirements and measures when convicts attend classes and take exams, as well as specifying the procedure for applying incentives to convicts for a conscientious attitude towards their study and penalties for evading this means of reformation.

El objetivo del estudio fue determinar la correlación entre las NPB, Motivación, la Intención de ser Físicamente Activo y la Satisfacción Deportiva en estudiantes de Educación Física en tiempos de pandemia, mediante correlaciones bivariadas, para conocer los niveles de las variables. Para esto, se realizó un estudio transversal-correlacional de tipo descriptivo, con una muestra de 403 estudiantes, 196 hombres y 207 mujeres pertenecientes a Educación General Básica y Bachillerato de la ciudad de Cuenca. Para la recolección de la información, se utilizó un cuestionario que midió las variables de: Necesidades Psicológicas Básicas, Regulación de Conducta en el Deporte, Intención de ser Físicamente Activo y la Satisfacción Intrínseca en el Deporte. Los resultados mostraron que, el desarrollo de las NPB, estaría impulsando la motivación en las clases y por ende, estimulando la intención de los estudiantes de ser físicamente activos, lo cual, se vería también reflejado en su nivel de diversión.

The objective of this study is to explore the conditions and direction that should be closely reviewed in the process of reorganizing the curriculum for general education. In particular, this study concentrated on the establishment of a detailed execution plan and the macroscopic direction of general education. It did so by exploring the practical logic and theoretical perspective for reorganizing the curriculum for general education when the accountability of general education is to be emphasized. For this, this study explored the theoretical background for the reorganization of the curriculum focusing on the foundation, structure, and contents of the curriculum for general education. It also diagnosed some domestic and foreign cases of reorganizing the curriculum for general education, and the curriculum for general education of I university in regards to its foundation, structure, and contents. It then secured the argument for the validity of the reorganization of the curriculum for general education of I university focusing on the results drawn through both the theoretical and case research. This study established the goal and objectives found in the general education of I university regarding the foundation of its curriculum for general education, and attempted the reorganization of basic and core general education when it came to its structure and its contents. In conclusion, this study presented the professors’ responsible educational activities, the administrative support for the qualitative improvement of general education, and the establishment of the evaluation system of the curriculum for general education. Having done so, we have pointed out the measures we need to take in order to offer a more stable and settled general education curriculum.

This paper discusses the economic value of college education as well as general education. Major findings are as follows: First, the rate of return to one more year of education in college, in Korea, ranges from 9% to 17%, depending on the demand and supply conditions in the labor market. Second, the returns to education increase when the economic environment is in the dynamic and rapidly changing state rather than it is in the steady state. Finally, “general education” is more important than “professional education” to adapt the rapidly changing environment. The importance of the “general education” will be greater as the fourth industrial revolution brings more uncertainty to the society.
