The paper presents a new method of design and construction aimed at developing a system that helps to prevent accidents involving demolition robot operators. The method is based on a study of user needs and was developed in accordance with Design Thinking methodology. This study provides a theoretical review of designing processes and methodologies, including conceptual design, and explores the implementation of the proposed method in the designing process for a Human&ndash, Machine Interface (HMI) accident prevention system. An in-depth study of user needs combined with an analysis of the operational system, both of which followed the stages in the proposed method, as well as with experimental tests on a small remote control demolition robot, inspired the development of an operator-controlled HMI system. The theoretical review concerns non-haptic feedback devices, which can be implemented in the demolition robot remote control or in operator safety equipment. Experimental research helped to determine the data necessary to develop an HMI system that continuously uses information from sensors installed on the machine. The paper also addresses issues related to the implementation of the HMI interface in order to avoid failures resulting from robot misuse and to protect the operator from any hazards caused by potential accidents. This paper emphasizes the importance of the connection between man and machine to overcome the lack of direct information flow in the case of mechanical operation.

La apertura y cierre de establecimientos es una de las tareas más comunes y repetitivas con que se encuentran los comerciantes. El tiempo empleado, el esfuerzo y la falta de automatización de este proceso hacen que sea un aspecto del trabajo en el que se requiere más experiencia. MyShopOpener es una aplicación Android con el objetivo de facilitar el trabajo y la eficacia en la apertura y cierre de negocios. Para hacerlo posible la aplicación trabaja conjuntamente con una placa programable Arduino, que se encarga de controlar los pulsadores de las persianas. Además emplea un algoritmo de machine learning para adaptarse al usuario experto, mejorando así el tiempo empleado en la apertura y cierre del local y permitiendo a usuarios no expertos en estos procedimientos un aprendizaje y adaptación progresivos. MyShopOpener demuestra que una aplicación de este tipo de algoritmos puede significar un cambio en las interacciones que hacemos actualmente con cualquier tipo de dispositivo, ya que, al adaptarse al usuario, puede abrir campos que hasta ahora no han sido explorados. Opening and closing of establishments is one of the most common and repetitive task that the owners could have. The time spent, effort and lack of automation of this process makes it an aspect of the job that requires more experience. MyShopOpener is an Android application which facilitates the opening and closing of business security shutters. To make this possible the application works in conjunction with an Arduino programmable motherboard which is responsible for operating the shutter control buttons. Also, the application uses an algorithm for machine learning which adapts to the expert user, thereby reducing the time spent on the opening and closing of the business and allows all required personnel to use the system without prior experience. Finally MyShopOpener aims to demonstrate that the application of such algorithms can change the way we interact with different devices, because the user can adapt to open fields that until now have not been explored. L'obertura i tancament d'establiments és una de les tasques més comunes i repetitives amb què es troben els comerciants. El temps emprat, l'esforç i la manca d'automatització d'aquest procés fan que sigui un aspecte del treball en el qual es requereix més experiència. MyShopOpener és una aplicació Android amb l'objectiu de facilitar la feina i l'eficàcia en l'obertura i tancament de negocis. Per fer-ho possible l'aplicació treballa conjuntament amb una placa programable Arduino, que s'encarrega de controlar els polsadors de les persianes. A més empra un algoritme de machine learning per adaptar a l'usuari expert, millorant així el temps emprat en l'obertura i tancament del local i permetent a usuaris no experts en aquests procediments un aprenentatge i adaptació progressius. MyShopOpener demostra que una aplicació d'aquest tipus d'algoritmes pot significar un canvi en les interaccions que fem actualment amb qualsevol tipus de dispositiu, ja que, en adaptar a l'usuari, pot obrir camps que fins ara no han estat explorats.
