Recently, the biggest issue of the world in the electric power industry become the smart grid. It is that electric power technology and IT, highly intelligent and automated power operating system. The smart grid to improve power efficiency in the use of the power system occurred the increased security threat because of increased connect contact unlike existing power system. In response to these problems, a smart grid can be called the core of the security of the AMI is essential. So far, however, AMI can not guarantee the safety in reality because the universal of the protection profile does not exist AMI. In this paper, AMI will usually be equipped with security features and requirements are derived by analyzing the security vulnerabilities and attack methods of AMI. Based on this, We develop Protection Profile of AMI based Common Criteria V3.1r4 which can be used AMI authentication.
