Feather performs important physiological functions in birds, and it is also one of the economic productions in goose farming. Understanding and modulating feather follicle development during embryogenesis are essential for bird biology and the poultry industry. CHIR-99021 is a potent Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway activator associated with feather follicle development. In this study, goose embryos (Anser cygnoides) received an in ovo injection of CHIR-9902, which was conducted at the beginning of feather follicle development (E9). The results showed that feather growth and feather follicle development were promoted. The Wnt signaling pathway was activated by the inhibition of GSK-3β. Transcriptomic analyses showed that the transcription changes were related to translation, metabolism, energy transport, and stress in dorsal tissue of embryos that received CHIR-99021, which might be to adapt and coordinate the promoting effects of CHIR-99021 on feather follicle development. This study suggests that in ovo injection of CHIR-99021 is a potential strategy to improve feather follicle development and feather-related traits for goose farming and provides profiling of the Wnt signaling pathway and transcriptome in dorsal tissue of goose embryos for further understanding of feather follicle development.

Generating 3D city models rapidly is crucial for many applications. Monocular height estimation is one of the most efficient and timely ways to obtain large-scale geometric information. However, existing works focus primarily on training and testing models using unbiased datasets, which don't align well with real-world applications. Therefore, we propose a new benchmark dataset to study the transferability of height estimation models in a cross-dataset setting. To this end, we first design and construct a large-scale benchmark dataset for cross-dataset transfer learning on the height estimation task. This benchmark dataset includes a newly proposed large-scale synthetic dataset, a newly collected real-world dataset, and four existing datasets from different cities. Next, two new experimental protocols, zero-shot and few-shot cross-dataset transfer, are designed. For few-shot cross-dataset transfer, we enhance the window-based Transformer with the proposed scale-deformable convolution module to handle the severe scale-variation problem. To improve the generalizability of deep models in the zero-shot cross-dataset setting, a max-normalization-based Transformer network is designed to decouple the relative height map from the absolute heights. Experimental results have demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed methods in both the traditional and cross-dataset transfer settings. Differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) is an important instrument in the thermal analysis which could be pervasively applied to property analysis of inorganic compounds, organic compounds and drugs. An effective temperature control technique could ensure DSC thermal experimental accuracy. Unlike the traditional temperature control methods which have limited temperature control ranges and change rates, this paper presents a novel algorithm which exploits the liquid nitrogen feedforward technique to control the temperature of DSC. To be specific, the proposed approach fully takes advantage of the characteristic of the liquid nitrogen that has the ability to rapidly decrease the objective temperature. Furthermore, a cold-heat synergistic feedforward-feedback control is utilized. On one hand, the feedforward controller is able to avoid the singularities for the amount of liquid nitrogen. On the other hand, the feedback controller is able to compensate for the temperature errors due to external disturbances. The proposed algorithm has been applied to the DSC. The experimental results and analysis prove that the control method is able to change the temperature accurately within a wider range.

In view of the poor tracking performance of conventional control method in differential scanning calorimeter during constant speed heating progress, a DMC-PID cascade control algorithm for differential scanning calorimetry is proposed. Firstly, based on the predictability and optimality of the DMC algorithm, the DMC controller is used in the main circuit to control the generalized object composed of the PID controller and the reheating furnace. Secondly, on the basis of the characteristics that PID controller can improve the dynamic of the controlled object, the PID controller is used in the secondary loop of the control system to improve the linearity of the controlled object. Finally, the proposed control method is applied to differential scanning calorimetry constant temperature control process. Experimental results show that the proposed method can effectively reduce the static error and improve the tracking performance of the control process.

A Modified Weight Particle Swarm Optimization-Particle Filter is proposed for the integrated navigation nonlinear system in agricultural machinery operation. The algorithm combines the advantages of particle filter and the global and local searching ability of particle swarm optimization, which modifies the particle weight and accelerates the particle convergence on optimizing particle update mode by adding advantage and disadvantage. It reduces the probability of falling into local optimum, and the global accurate positioning is achieved in a short time. The feasibility and superiority of modified weight particle swarm optimization particle filter are verified by simulation and experiment.

To effectively evaluate and analyze performance of cluster tools in semiconductor manufacturing, the paper presents a throughput model for parallel cluster tools .For developping this model, the timing diagram is applied to describe the usage of the chamber and robot in parallel processing of cluster tools. Finally, the theoretical model which indicates the relationship between the number of chamber, processing time, transport time, and throughtput is deduced. This model can analyze and computer the wafer period and the batch period fast and accurately.

A new approach based on spectrum analysis of featrue instantaneous power is proposed to detect the rotor bar breaking faults in this paper. Similarly with the difinition of instantaneous power, featrue instantaneous power is still the product of a sampled line voltage and the corresponding line current. The difference is that the currnent used to define the featrue instantaneous power has been filtered out the fundamental component which can produces the constant weight. Compared with the familiar way based on spectrum analysis of the instantaneous power, the proposed approach can get rid of the interference to the fault related characteristic components from the constant weight. The validity of this approach has been verified by theoretical analysis and simulation results.
