The capacity to relax and letting one's mind wander is one of the cornerstones of psychoanalysis. In cases where this capacity seems hindered, the reasons are characteristically sought from particular and specific inhibitions: what is thereby taken to be interfered is not the capacity of relaxation but only the activation of this capacity in a particular regard. In contrast to this mainstream way of thinking, Winnicott argues that the capacity for mental relaxation is a developmental achievement and presupposes a safe sense of integration. The present article investigates this dynamism. It clarifies how an integral sense of self arises out of primary unintegration, explains how a well-established sense of self grounds the ability to relax, and underlines the centrality of relaxed unintegration in everyday life as well as in the analytic situation. peerReviewed

Interdisciplinary research is becoming more and more popular. Many funding bodies encourage interdisciplinarity, as a criterion that promises scientific progress. Traditionally this has been linked to the idea of integrating or unifying disciplines. Using evolutionary game theory as a case study, Till Grüne-Yanoff (2016) argued that there is no such necessary link between interdisciplinary success and integration. Contrary to this, this paper argues that evolutionary game theory is a genuine case of successful integration between economics and biology, shedding lights on the many dimensions along which integration can take place.

Knowledge that we possess nowadays circulates along a straight, and on an aligned path, despite of biotechnological and cybernetic advances. Showing clearly that we run quickly towards distant stars and transhumanism, but deep inside, we end up with an existential anguish from loss of meaning. Does science provides Human Beings freedom? Does it offer meanings for consciousness development?, or has become a new “myth” that, while it claims to explain how the world revolves , covers up a new mode of human manipulation?. Edward Matchett said: “Today it is easier to shout out loud Ahead than where to”.

Für den vorliegenden Beitrag wurde aus einer postmigrantischen Perspektive der Wahrnehmung der Integration von Geflüchteten in der Gemeinde Everswinkel (Nordrhein-Westfalen) nachgespürt. Hierzu wurden sowohl Vertreterinnen und Vertreter der Gemeinde, Ehrenamtliche sowie Bewohnerinnen und Bewohner suburbaner Nachbarschaften zur veränderten Situation der Fluchtmigration seit 2015 befragt. Um zu einer breiteren Perspektive auf Migration zu gelangen, die Zuwanderung nicht mehr als ein nachgelagertes und nur die Migrantinnen und Migranten betreffendes Problem begreift, sondern als einen auszuhandelnden Zustand für die gesamte Aufnahmegesellschaft, wurde der begriffliche Dreiklang der Allianzen, Antagonisten und Ambivalenzen nach Naika Foroutan operationalisiert. Die Ergebnisse der Befragungen zeigen eine Vielfalt sich widersprechender Auffassungen von Integration. In Everswinkel sind einerseits vielfältige proplurale Allianzen entstanden, die sich insbesondere in Angeboten und Institutionen der Gemeinde materialisieren. Andererseits wurde im Rahmen der Befragungen auch Kritik in Bezug auf nachbarschaftliches Zusammenleben und das Thema Wohnen deutlich. Darüber hinaus rückt ein dritter Blickwinkel, der Ambivalenzen und Widersprüchlichkeiten in der Wahrnehmung der Integration von Geflüchteten, in den Fokus. For this paper, the perception of the integration of refugees in the community of Everswinkel (North Rhine-Westphalia) was traced from a post-migrant perspective. For this purpose, representatives of the community, volunteers and residents of suburban neighbourhoods were asked about the changed situation of refugee migration since 2015. In order to arrive at a broader perspective on migration, which no longer sees immigration as a downstream problem affecting only migrants, but rather as a condition to be negotiated for the entire host society, the conceptual triad of alliances, antagonists and ambivalences of Naika Foroutan was operationalized. The results of the surveys turned out to be very heterogeneous and some contradicting views of integration were observed. On the one hand, diverse pro-plural alliances have emerged in Everswinkel, which materialize in particular in the offers and institutions of the community. On the other hand, these are accompanied by anti-plural antagonists who are, for example, strongly conveyed through topics such as neighbourhood coexistence or the topic of living. In addition, a third perspective, that of the ambivalence and contradictions in the perception of the integration of refugees, comes into focus.

The operating room is a specific workplace that requires operating room nurses to possess key competencies in the areas of perioperative healthcare, ethics, legislation, communication, and organizational skills, with continuous professional development through education and research. This knowledge will be acquired through basic and specialized training, which will continue to be integrated into the process in the field of perioperative care in a targeted manner. The need for immediate and effective action by nurses in the operating room in unpredictable situations requires them to respond appropriately, which requires knowledge and practice only possible through structured formal training. These trainings have clear learning outcomes and competencies for knowledge assessment procedures. The current challenge is poorly designed processes for integrating inexperienced staff into perioperative care without explicit requirements to complete perioperative specialist training., Operacijska je dvorana specifično radilište koje od operacijske medicinske sestre / medicinskog tehničara zahtijeva ključne kompetencije iz područja perioperativne zdravstvene njege, etike, zakonodavstva te komunikacijskih i organizacijskih vještina uz kontinuirani profesionalni razvoj koji se stječe obrazovanjem i istraživanjem. Medicinske sestre / medicinski tehničari svoje kompetencije trebaju stjecati temeljnim i specijalističkim obrazovanjem na koje se nastavlja proces dobro osmišljene integracije u područje perioperacijske skrbi. Potreba za hitnim i učinkovitim djelovanjem u nepredvidivim situacijama imperativ je za medicinske sestre / tehničare u operacijskim dvoranama koji moraju reagirati na pravi način, što podrazumijeva znanje i praksu koji su jedino mogući uz strukturiranu formalnu izobrazbu jasno definiranim ishodima učenja, postupcima evaluacije znanja i izlaznim kompetencijama. Trenutni je izazov nedovoljno dobro osmišljen proces integracije novozaposlenih u područje perioperacijske skrbi bez jasnih zahtjeva u kontekstu završetka specijalističke izobrazbe.

Schizophrenia has been associated with dysfunction in information integration/ segregation dynamics. One of the neural networks whose role has been most investigated in schizophrenia is the default mode network (DMN). In this study, we have explored the possible alteration of integration and segregation dynamics in individuals diagnosed with schizophrenia with respect to healthy controls, based on the study of the topological properties of the graphs derived from the functional connectivity between the nodes of the DMN in the resting state. Our results indicate that the patients show a diminution of the modularity of the DMN and a higher global efficiency, in sparse graphs. The global shift from a fossil fuel-based to an electrical-based society is commonly viewed as an ecological improvement. However, the electrical power industry is a major source of carbon dioxide emissions, and incorporating renewable energy can still negatively impact the environment. Despite rising research in renewable energy, the impact of renewable energy consumption on the environment is poorly known. Here, we review the integration of renewable energies into the electricity sector from social, environmental, and economic perspectives. We found that implementing solar photovoltaic, battery storage, wind, hydropower, and bioenergy can provide 504,000 jobs in 2030 and 4.18 million jobs in 2050. For desalinization, photovoltaic/wind/battery storage systems supported by a diesel generator can reduce the cost of water production by 69% and adverse environmental effects by 90%, compared to full fossil fuel systems. The potential of carbon emission reduction increases with the percentage of renewable energy sources utilized. The photovoltaic/wind/hydroelectric system is the most effective in addressing climate change, producing a 2.11–5.46% increase in power generation and a 3.74–71.61% guarantee in share ratios. Compared to single energy systems, hybrid energy systems are more reliable and better equipped to withstand the impacts of climate change on the power supply.

Po sześciu latach od zawiązania Inicjatywy Trójmorza można podjąć próbę określenia jej ról i funkcji, a także znaczenia, jakie ten proces ma dla integracji europejskiej, w szczególności dla Unii Europejskiej. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie współpracy 3SI z perspektywy integralności polityki Unii Europejskiej oraz określenia, na jakie korzyści liczą państwa tworzące ten format w kontekście polityki unijnej. Zbadaniu zostanie poddana hipoteza mówiąca, że Inicjatywa Trójmorza nie stanowi wartości dodanej integracji europejskiej i jest forum realizacji interesów narodowych poszczególnych państw, a nie całej grupy. Aby rozstrzygnąć hipotezę postawiono następujące pytania badawcze: P1: Jakie były powody ustanowienia 3SI?; P2: które państwo lub państwa jest/są liderem grupy?; P3: Jakie państwa trzecie angażują się we wspieranie współpracy 3SI i jakie są ich motywacje?; P4: Jakie deklarowane i faktyczne role i funkcje w systemie UE wypełnia 3SI? Analiza zostanie poprowadzona z perspektywy teorii europeizacji. W badaniu zastosowano metody jakościowe, w tym metodę instytucjonalno-prawną, systemową oraz komparatystyczną. Six years after the inception of the Three Seas Initiative, an attempt can be made to define its roles and functions, as well as the significance that this process has for European integration, in particular for the European Union. The aim of the article is to present the cooperation of 3SI from the perspective of the integrity of the European Union’s policy and to determine what benefits count the countries creating this format in the context of EU policy. The hypothesis that the Three Seas Initiative does not add value to European integration and is a forum for realizing the national interests of individual countries, not the entire group, will be examined. In order to resolve the hypothesis, the following research questions were asked: P1: What were the reasons for establishing the 3SI? Q2: Which country or countries is / are the group leader/s?; Q3: Which third countries are involved in supporting 3SI cooperation and what are their motivations? Q4: What are the declared and actual roles and functions performed by the 3SI in the EU system? The analysis will be conducted from the perspective of the theory of Europeanization. Qualitative methods were used in the study, including institutional-legal, systemic and comparative methods.

Este trabajo realiza el estudio de los fundamentos históricos de la defensa común europea desde el prisma del Derecho Constitucional y en clave de integración. Teniendo presente la agresión del régimen ruso a Ucrania como hecho de actualidad urgente, que empuja a retomar el debate en torno a la defensa común y reaviva las preocupaciones sobre nuestro modelo defensivo ante un escenario de guerra en el continente. Hemos procedido a cuatro tareas: primeramente, a contextualizar y ordenar teóricamente el camino que habría de seguir un análisis jurídico-constitucional de la defensa común. Segundo, a realizar un sucinto análisis de la situación europea tras la 2ª Guerra Mundial. Tercero, a estudiar el primer contexto de una defensa común en el seno de la naciente comunidad política europea. Finalmente, al análisis propositivo de la defensa común en la ya nacida Unión Europea, desde el Tratado de Ámsterdam hasta la actualidad de los acontecimientos bélicos en nuestra frontera oriental. This work carries out the study of the historical basis of the European common defense from the prism of Constitutional Law and in key of integration. Bearing in mind the aggression of the Russian regime against Ukraine as an urgent topical fact, which pushes to resume the discussion about the common defense and revives concerns about our defensive model before a war scenario on the continent. We have proceeded to four tasks: firstly, to theoretically contextualize the path that a legal-constitutional analysis of the common defense would have to follow. Secondly, to carry out a succinct analysis of the European situation after World War II. Thirdly, to study the first context of a common defense within the rising European political community. Finally, to the proactive analysis of the common defense in the new born European Union. From the Treaty of Amsterdam to the current events of war on our eastern border. Nelle società contemporanee caratterizzate da diversi processi di decomposizione sociale e disaffezione partecipativa, il progetto di rigenerare comunità "inclusi-ve, innovative e riflessive" ha dovuto confrontarsi con nuove forme di disuguaglianza sociale e povertà, alcune acuite durante la crisi Covid-19. Al welfare è pertanto chiesto di ripensarsi per rispondere a questa diffusa vulnerabilità da un'ottica preventiva e ri-generativa con interventi asimmetrici per fare fronte alle problematicità emergenti. L'articolo ripercorre alcune di queste recenti trasformazioni e propone tre direttrici di cambiamento sulla base di alcune ricerche em-piriche condotte in Italia su progetti di riforma delle politiche sociali. Le ricerche considerate mostrano che i beni relazionali sono alla base di un welfare sosteni-bile, che l'approccio di intervento più efficace è di tipo multidisciplina-re/multifocale e che nuove governance integrate, reticolari e circolari sono in grado di dare senso all'azione, attraverso innovative logiche di co-progettazione e co-produzione che considerano le eterogeneità territoriali.

STEM education is a series of sequentially arranged learning programs for students with the purpose of preparing them for productive activities and education by forming levels of competences sufficient for productive activities. It covers natural sciences, technologies, technical creativity, mathematics and is aimed at training specialists (bio and nanotechnology, programmers, IT specialists, engineers, etc.) to ensure industry development. The introduction of STEM education and the development in the individual of abilities and aptitudes for research and analytical work, experimentation and critical thinking in the conditions of the use of the latest technologies will allow to increase the GDP of Ukraine by creating the basis for the formation of high added value in the labor product. One of the key tasks of STEM education is to ensure that the student's personality reaches a new level of development thanks to the formation of qualities and values for the purposeful realization of personal and socially significant goals. The realization of creative potential, abilities and aptitudes in this process contributes to the formation of a multifaceted psychological and socio-professional experience. As a result of the student's psychological activity, proposed in the process of STEM-education, competencies should be harmonized according to the components of the psychological sphere: cognitive (knowledge); operational and technological (activity); motivational (emotional); ethical; social; behavioral This will enable students at the stages of adaptation, individualization and integration to reach a self-sufficient level of autonomy and competitiveness due to the proposed algorithm of key activities., STEM-освіта є низкою послідовно розташованих програм навчання для учнів з метою їхньої підготовки до продуктивної діяльності та освіти шляхом формування рівнів компетентностей, достатніх для продуктивної діяльності. Вона охоплює природничі науки, технології, технічну творчість, математику та спрямована на підготовку майбутніхфахівців для забезпечення галузевого розвитку. Впровадження STEM-освіти та розвиток у особистості здібностей і задатків до дослідницької й аналітичної роботи, експериментування та критичного мислення в умовах використання новітніх технологій дозволить підвищити ВВП України за рахунок створення підґрунтя для формування високої доданої вартості у продукті праці. Одним із ключових завдань STEM-освіти є забезпечення виходу особистості учня на новий рівень розвитку завдяки сформованості якостей і цінностей з метою цілеспрямованої реалізації власних і суспільно значущих цілей. Реалізація творчого потенціалу, здібностей і задатків у цьому процесі сприяє формуванню багатогранності психологічного і соціально-професійного досвіду. У результаті психологічної діяльності учня, запропонованій у процесі STEM-освіти, мають гармонізуватися компетентності за складовими психологічної сфери: когнітивна (знаннєва); операційно-технологічна (діяльнісна); мотиваційна (емоційна); етична; соціальна; поведінкова. Це дасть можливість учням на етапах адаптації, індивідуалізації та інтеграції виходити на самодостатній рівень автономності й конкурентоспроможності за рахунок запропонованого алгоритму ключових діяльностей.

Based on the theoretical model of multidimensional, two-way, dynamic integration of refugee and host community, a qualitative study was done determining views on and experiences with integration of refugees from Syria and the host community in Croatia. Five focus group discussions were held, three with host members (N = 21) and two with refugees from Syria (N = 11). Four overarching themes emerged from the data in both groups: "Perspectives on integration", "Socioeconomic integration", "Intergroup relations", and "Culture, language and social obstacles to integration". They appeared consistently throughout discussions, with hosts and refugees providing a consensual view of refugee integration. They understood integration in the same way and recognised the need for both groups to adapt as part of the integration process. Croatia was perceived as a transit country and a temporary solution for refugees, which is an obstacle to integration. Emphasis was placed on the intergroup relations and the responsibility of the host society in providing tools and mechanisms that foster socio-economic and socio-psychological integration, overcome structural barriers and promote pleasant social contexts., Na temelju teorijskoga modela multidimenzionalne, dvosmjerne i dinamičke integracije izbjeglica i domicilnoga društva provedeno je kvalitativno istraživanje s ciljem ispitivanja mišljenja, percepcija i iskustava s integracijom izbjeglica iz Sirije i domaćina u Hrvatskoj. Održano je pet fokusnih grupa, tri s domaćinima (N = 21) i dvije s izbjeglicama iz Sirije (N = 11). Utvrđene su četiri široke teme zajedničke objema grupama, a koje se podudaraju s multidimenzionalnim karakterom integracije: "Perspektive o integraciji", "Socioekonomska integracija", "Međugrupni odnosi" te "Kultura, jezik i društvene prepreke integraciji". Teme su identificirane u svim fokusnim grupama i u obje skupine sudionika, a domaćini i izbjeglice slagali su se u pogledima na integraciju. Članovi obiju grupa razumiju dvosmjernost i dinamične integracije na isti način te prepoznaju potrebu za prilagodbom obiju skupina. Hrvatsku vide kao privremeno rješenje za izbjeglice, što znači zapreku njihovoj integraciji. Naglasak je stavljen na međugrupne odnose i odgovornost domaćina u pružanju mogućnosti i mehanizama koji olakšavaju socioekonomsku i sociopsihološku integraciju, premošćuju strukturne zapreke i promiču ugodan međugrupni kontakt.

U članku se analiziraju iskustva visokoobrazovanih hrvatskih građanki koje su migrirale u različite države Europe nakon ulaska Republike Hrvatske u Europsku uniju od 2013. godine naovamo s naglaskom na njihova radna i neradna/svakodnevna iskustva u kontekstu ekonomske i društvene dimenzije integracije. Istraživanje provedeno kvalitativnom metodologijom pokazuje da su radna i svakodnevna iskustva kod većine kazivačica pretežito zadovoljavajuća, u velikoj mjeri preklapajuća te ukazuju na relativno visok stupanj ekonomske i društvene integracije visokoobrazovanih migrantica u države prijema. Pronalazak posla u struci omogućuje im bolji standard života, a uvjete rada smatraju boljima nego u Hrvatskoj. Svakodnevna iskustva ukazuju na odgovarajuću količinu slobodnog vremena te osjećaj zadovoljstva kvalitetom života. Pristup sugovornica materijalnim i nematerijalnim aspektima života pokazuje elemente “dobrog života” i “osobnog prosperiteta” te subjektivne dobrobiti i integracije., The article analyzes the experiences of highly educated Croatian women who migrated to different European countries after Croatia’s accession to the European Union in 2013, emphasizing their work and non-work/everyday experiences in the context of the economic and social dimensions of integration. The research conducted with a qualitative methodology shows that most female narrators’ work and everyday experiences are predominately satisfactory, largely overlapping, and indicate a relatively high degree of economic and social integration of highly educated migrant women in the receiving countries. Finding a job in their profession enables them to achieve a better standard of living, and they consider working conditions better than in Croatia. Everyday experiences indicate a satisfactory amount of free time and satisfaction with the quality of life. The interlocutor’s approach to the material and non-material aspects of life shows elements of “good living” and “personal prosperity,” as well as subjective well-being and integration.

Although the 2015 “refugee crisis” dominated Europe’s policy-making agenda, little research was actually conducted with refugees. Using focus groups, interviews and photovoice, this study explores the identities and integration of 20 refugees, in two German towns, in 2017. While previous scholarship has rightly emphasized the importance of secure legal status for integration, this study highlights the critical role of community support by national citizens in fostering a greater sense of belonging and integration. The study thus calls into question new integration policies, like Germany's, which absolve national citizens of any responsibility for integration.

Resumo O objetivo deste artigo é discutir a trajetória da Telecomunicações de Santa Catarina (Telesc) entre 1973 e 1997, destacando aspectos financeiros, produtivos e políticos, de acordo com os objetivos traçados pela Telecomunicações Brasileiras Sociedade Anônima (Telebras) e as demandas regionais impostas pela dinâmica da economia catarinense. O artigo está dividido em quatro tópicos. Num primeiro momento, apresenta-se uma breve introdução teórica sobre o papel das estatais nas economias contemporâneas na formação do capitalismo monopolista de Estado. O segundo versa sobre a centralização das telecomunicações no Brasil a partir da constituição do sistema nacional de telecomunicações e da atuação da Telebras. Em seguida, o texto traz uma breve contextualização da telefonia em Santa Catarina antes da federalização dos serviços, em 1973. O quarto tópico, é dedicado à narrativa da Telesc e suas dinâmicas na economia e na sociedade catarinense. No final apresenta uma breve síntese do movimento geral da telefonia durante a existência da Telesc. Abstract The objective of this article is to discuss the trajectory of Telecomunicações de Santa Catarina (Telesc) between 1973 and 1997, highlighting financial, productive and political aspects, according to the objectives outlined by Telecomunicações Brasileiras Sociedade Anônima (Telebras) and the regional demands imposed by the dynamics of Santa Catarina’s economy. The article is divided into four topics. First, a brief theoretical introduction on the role of state-owned companies in contemporary economies in the formation of state monopoly capitalism is presented. The second section deals with the centralization of telecommunications in Brazil considering the constitution of the national telecommunications system and the performance of Telebras. The text goes on to provide a brief contextualization of telephony in Santa Catarina before the federalization of services, in 1973. The fourth section is dedicated to the Telesc narrative and its dynamics in the economy and society of Santa Catarina. Finally, a brief summary of the general movement of telephony during the existence of Telesc is presented.

Crop production and livestock are main economic activities of most of populations in Maradi region. A study was carried out in order to characterize farms in terms of farming practices of crops livestock integration in 4 villages of Aguié. The results of surveys randomly conducted on a sample of 78 farmers showed that farmers were categorized into two groups, which are farmers (67%) and agro-pastoralists (33%). However, the multivariate analysis of data highlighted existence of three categories of agro-pastoralist farmers, distinct in terms of their means of existence and levels of integration. The category were big farms (BF)(41%), medium farms (MF) (33%) and small farms (SF) (26%). Regarding average annual incomes, BF have 375,653 FCFA, MF 172,235 FCFA and SF have only 73,167 FCFA. The average land capital held by BF is 8 hectares, MF own 3 ha and SF have 1.8 Ha. For integration parameters, organic manure (OM) fertilization ratio is 4.4 cattle cart per hectare in BF, while MF put 5 per hectare against 9 in SF. For mineral Fertilizer, BF used 40 kg/Ha, against 25 kg/ha for MF and 15 Kg/ha for SF. The yield, for cereal crops, is higher in SF with 464.6 kg/Ha, 336 kg/ha for EM and 306 kg/ha for BF.

This study aims to explore how new communication technologies are transforming the nature of political participation and how social media platforms can create discourses of solidarity with migrants or confrontation with them. The objectives of the study are: to analyse the concept of political participation in the context of migration; to describe the role of new communication technologies in the decision-making process of the host society; and to show the role of social media in increasing refugee integration of migrants and solidarity with them. In order to explore the role of new communication technologies in the context of refugee integration, interviews are conducted with refugees living in Lithuania, whose unique experiences are analysed in the context of not only the role of new communication tools, but also political participation (e.g. citizenship, voting in the elections, meetings with local government representatives, etc.) in their host country. It should be mentioned, that new communication technologies enable migrants to participate in the communities they have left behind and to create new virtual communities that function as a mobilising instrument for migrants. The analysis of the dynamics between migrant integration and new communication technologies shows that digital technologies facilitate the integration of migrants in social, political, economic and cultural spheres. New technologies can help migrants to find information on rights, citizenship, local migrant support services, and overcome feelings of isolation by providing migrants with information. The results of the interview show that new technologies are very important for refugees, as they help to build networks of family and friends, support communities and create a sense of belonging in the host society. However, negative representations of refugees in social media also contribute to the difficulties refugees face during their integration.

This article explores the issue of “geography of education” focusing on the pivotal contribution of place to one’s education. The geographic location of schools and the administrative organisation of local authorities that are responsible for state schools in England create sociospatial inequalities that are associated with individual life‐course trajectories and can contribute to the intergenerational transfer of disadvantage. This article focuses on Latvian migrant families for whom better status often can be achieved through being included in the education system of the country. Therefore, the educational achievement of the children who speak Latvian at home but live and attend schools in England is the main focus of this article. The academic attainment of these children is well below not only the national average across all levels of compulsory education but also compared to both monolingual English speakers and all pupils speaking English as an additional language. The article provides evidence that in addition to the sociodemographic individual and family‐level factors geography also plays a significant role in explaining the educational achievement gaps. As the descriptive quantitative analysis of the geographical and educational data indicates, Latvian children are disproportionally present in local authorities where there is a relatively high proportion of low‐quality schools, a higher‐than‐average proportion of individuals with low qualifications and those in low‐qualified jobs.

The integration of environmental education is embedded with challenges such as inadequate knowledge of what environmental education entails. This situation was not different to what was encountered during the researchers’ training to be a teacher from the schools where they acquired their teaching practice. It was observed that there was minimal or no integration of environmental education in the teaching and learning process. Therefore, this paper reflected on how a primary school teacher integrated environmental education in teaching and learning. The findings from this paper may assist teachers in developing a positive approach to the process of ongoing attempts and the will to integrate environmental education. It may expose the kinds of knowledge other teachers have of what environmental education entails and its integration in school subjects as well as the instructional strategies that they use. The focus on the challenges and the opportunities may excite teachers in that those who have similar circumstances would use the findings from this paper as a launch pad to work on their strengths or weakness in the endeavor to integrate environmental education.

The need for nations to enhance their competitiveness by leveraging the imperatives of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) has seen major shifts in teaching and learning strategies employed globally by educators. Research in Zimbabwean education has pointed to a gap in teachers' competence in the use of information communication technologies (ICTs) for teaching. Using the UNESCO ICT competency for teachers and Bernstein's (2000) theory of the pedagogic device we propose a conceptual framework for the pre-service ICT curriculum at four Zimbabwean secondary school teachers' colleges in relation, in particular, to the complexities present in the nexus of the curriculum's architecture, pedagogy, and delivery context. The framework suggests strategies on how this curriculum could address the gap in the teachers' competencies through effective integration of content, knowledge, skills, technology, and pedagogy into the salient contextual aspects of the country's education sector, given the constraining shortage of ICT resources.

Mehrere lokale Fallstudien verweisen übereinstimmend darauf, dass sich im Zusammenhang mit der sogenannten EU-Südosterweiterung 2007 europaweit ein neuer Rassismus herausgebildet hat. Dieser neue Rassismus richtete und richtet sich in Deutschland in erster Linie gegen eine als "Armutszuwanderung" stigmatisierte EU-Migration rumänischer und bulgarischer "Roma". Obwohl dieser "Armutszuwanderungsdiskurs" insbesondere in urbanen Räumen wirkt, sind die damit verbundenen Praktiken, Routinen und Strategien kommunaler Akteur:innen im deutschsprachigen Kontext bisher wenig erforscht. An dieses Forschungsdesiderat anknüpfend stellt dieser Beitrag empirische Befunde aus einem Forschungsprojekt über die Mechanismen des institutionellen Antiziganismus in einer westdeutschen Großstadt vor. Im Kern verweisen die Forschungsergebnisse auf völlig unangemessene institutionelle Routinen kommunaler Verwaltungen, während Handlungs- und Ermessensspielräume systematisch zum Nachteil von als "Roma" gelabelten EU-Migrant:innen ausgelegt werden. Handlungsleitend ist hierbei ein teils versteckter, teils offener antiziganistischer Gefahrendiskurs, wodurch die soziale und rechtliche Teilhabe ungewünschter Newcomer:innen an der Stadtgesellschaft nachhaltig verhindert wird. As previous local case studies indicate, a new racism has emerged Europe-wide in the context of EU south-east enlargement 2007 especially in the local and municipal sphere. In the German case this new racism is primarily directed against an EU-internal migration of Romanian and Bulgarian "Roma" stigmatized as "poverty immigration". Nevertheless, related practices, routines and strategies of municipal actors have hardly been researched so far for the German context. Following up on this desideratum, this article presents empirical findings from a research project on the mechanisms of institutional Antigypsyism in a large West German city. Based on extensive fieldwork the research results refer to inappropriate institutional practices that can be understood as municipal strategies of securitizing and racializing EU migrants labelled as "Roma".

Mixed-dimensional van der Waals heterostructures are promising for research and technological advances in photonics and optoelectronics. Here we report vapor-liquid-solid (VLS) method -based van der Waals epitaxy of one-dimensional InP nanowires (NWs) directly on two-dimensional MoS2. With optimized growth parameters (V/III ratio, flow rates of precursors, and growth temperature), we successfully grow high-quality InP NWs on MoS2. The density and vertical yield of NWs on MoS2 are significantly high. Due to the unique properties of both materials, we observe strong linear and nonlinear optical responses from the NW/MoS2 heterostructures. Intriguingly, in addition to strong second and third harmonic responses, the mixed-dimensional heterostructures show odd-order high harmonic generation up to seventh order. Our findings can open new possibilities for advancing attosecond physics on a new platform of mixed-dimensional heterostructures.

This article explores the workings of some familiar keywords when applied in a context where migration patterns diverge from conventional expectations in public debate and research. It focuses on the Portuguese seeking a better future in Angola, and it analyses emerging configurations of keywords of migration in this postcolonial setting. By focusing on this unconventional case, the article illuminates some of the stereotypical notions linked to central keywords of migration. Departing from the concepts “migrant”, “expatriate”, “returnee” and “integration”, it explores emic constructions of the Portuguese mobile subjects’ identities, incorporation processes in Angola and shifting postcolonial power positions. Moreover, it uses the emic viewpoints to discuss some globalised connotations of the four keywords. The analysis will make clear that the context-specific workings of these concepts are influenced not only by the particularities of this case but also by powerful international discourses on human mobility. On a conceptual level, the article argues for using keywords as a tool for social analysis. Arguably, ethnographic explorations of the usage and understanding of purportedly simple words can open up profound insights into shifting social values.

The article deals with the evolution of ideas of education for sustainable development. Special attention is given to the pedagogical technology «Dovkillya» («Environment») as a variant of ESD. The authors analyzed the achievements of the model of education for sustainable development of society and indicate the direction of improvement of the model in accordance with the new standard of education. The areas of activity of the department of integration of the content of general secondary education of the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, which together with the Department of Methodology of the Content of Education of the PANO named after M. V. Ostrogradskyi plans to update the educational and methodological support of the model of education for sustainable development «Dovkillya» in accordance with the State Standard of General Secondary Education (2021). «Dovkillya» programs for grades 1-4 have been developed and approved by the Ministry of Education and Culture, educational and methodological support for the «Dovkillya» course for grades 1-6, and a study of its impact on the development of students' verbal and non-verbal intelligence, levels of their social maturity and health is planned, as this was investigated during the implementation of the model of education for sustainable development «Dovkillya»., Стаття присвячена вивченню еволюції ідей освіти для сталого розвитку. Gossip is often considered to have negative and exclusionary social consequences within migrant communities and multi-ethnic settings. In contrast, the current research examines whether gossip can contribute to including and integrating people with different ethnic and migration backgrounds into a local community. The empirical study is based on 11 Months of fieldwork research in Riace, a small town in Southern Italy that has hosted refugees and migrants for over 20 years. We focused on the local functions of gossip as it occurs in everyday life and is embedded in the local social context. Findings demonstrate that much of the local gossip is inter-ethnic and facilitates strong community relationships by sustaining local norms and promoting trust relationships and shared narratives. It is concluded that local gossip does not only have to be divisive but also can have inclusive and integrative implications for multi-ethnic local settings.

This study wanted to evaluate the disaster preparedness of secondary schools in Sta Cruz district, a division of Zambales. The study utilized the descriptive cross-sectional design of research using a survey questionnaire. It was conducted in the ten (10) secondary schools in the Sta Cruz district, which is participated by ten school heads and 266 teachers. Data was gathered using a researcher-made close-ended questionnaire with 4-point rating scales. F-Test at 5% alpha of significance was employed in determining whether there is a significant difference in the perceived level of disaster preparedness across schools. T-test at 5% alpha of significance was used to test the significant difference between the perceptions of school heads and teachers on the level of school disaster preparedness. Frequency count, percentage, and weighted mean were other descriptive statistical tools used in the study. The investigation discovered that most of the teachers are in their young and adulthood age or 31-40 years old, and a majority of them are married females with units in master's degree holding teacher one position. The four (4) domains for disaster preparedness to planning, facilities, implementation, and integration were well implemented. However, the school needs improvement in facilities like the use and availability of alarms, fire extinguishers, and school mechanical systems. There was no significant difference in the school's perceived level of disaster preparedness. Also, there was no significant difference between the perception of school heads and teachers in the domains. To enhance the study, future researchers may delve more into the type of hazards encountered or experienced in the school in a specific time frame; this will give specific data on school preparedness for specific possible hazards.

Progress in psychopathy research has been hampered by ongoing contention about its fundamental cause. The Impaired Integration theory of psychopathy provides an attention-based account of information integration abnormalities. We set out to evaluate the suggested mechanism via an innovative application of the well-established illusory conjunction paradigm. Two hundred participants were recruited by utilizing a psychopathic-trait-maximization technique, sampling individuals from an ex-prisoner and a population sample. We found no support for information integration deficits in psychopathic individuals (BF₁₀ = 0.156), and the absence of a relationship between psychopathic traits and illusory conjunctions remained when accounting for confounding variables. These findings question the mechanism proposed by the Impaired Integration theory and pave the way for future research to advance our understanding of psychopathic trait etiology by assessing specific and falsifiable mechanisms thought to bring about the observed cognitive and behavioral deficits. The transformable furniture product consists of a modular system Lego-type pieces (shelves - sides - lattices - scrapers - union nodes), which, through different configurations, allow the creation of structures with various levels of complexity that can be adapted to different needs of the two identified users (owner - cat). Data management plans (DMPs) and research data repositories are essential parts of modern research. At TU Wien and TU Graz we have built up institutional research data repositories and online tools for managing DMPs. Both of these systems can help our researchers with different parts of their research data’s life-cycles. However, without communication between these services, some information has to be entered multiple times across these systems which can lead to frustration and errors. We aim to improve this user experience pain point by creating a channel for sharing information between these systems. By utilizing the RDA DMP Common Standard for machine-actionable DMPs for the communication, we want to extract a general communication protocol out of the prototypes that can be implemented for other research data repositories and DMP tools as well.

The term ‘postmodernism’ refers to a broad movement that came into being during the latter part of the twentieth century. This movement came after modernity and after modernism faced its decline, when it comes to postmodernism, there is a rise and a fall in every aspect of knowledge and existence. It was an era of an uprising, whether it is literary work, philosophy, or science. Postcolonial literature, particularly novels, explore fundamental difficulties that people face, such as the blending of many cultures, hybridity, and the search for one's own identity. The purpose of this study is to investigate how these topics are handled in the works of fiction by the authors selected for this study. A detailed reading of a few of Amitav Ghosh’s works reveals theimpactofracialdiscrimination, aswellasthetyrannyofcolonialrule. His writings have achieved appreciation on a global level, which means that they are not limited by political, geographical, or social borders. Design: A review of Literature is done by collecting information from secondary sources such as peer-reviewed journals, National and International Publications, internet sources, and research sources like Google Scholar, Research Gate, SSRN, Elsevier, Academia, and Shodhganga are used for identifying the research gap. SOX2 expression in high-grade cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN3) and cervical squamous cell carcinoma is increased compared to that in the normal cervical epithelium. However, data on the expression and histological distribution of SOX2 in squamous epithelium during progression of CIN are largely lacking. We studied SOX2 expression throughout the epithelium in 53 cases of CIN1, 2, and 3. In general, SOX2 expression increased and expanded from basal/parabasal to the intermediate/superficial compartment during early stages of progression of CIN. An unexpected, specific expression pattern was found in areas classified as CIN2 and CIN3. This pattern was characterized by the absence or low expression of SOX2 in the basal/parabasal compartment and variable levels in the intermediate and superficial compartments. It was significantly associated with CIN3 (p = 0.009), not found in CIN1 and only seen in part of the CIN2 lesions. When the different patterns were correlated with the genetic make-up and presence of HPV, the CIN3-related pattern contained HPV-positive cells in the basal/parabasal cell compartment that were disomic. This is in contrast to the areas exhibiting the CIN1 and CIN2 related patterns, which frequently exhibited aneusomic cells. Based on their SOX2 localisation pattern, CIN1 and CIN2 could be delineated from CIN3. These data shed new light on the pathogenesis and dynamics of progression in premalignant cervical lesions, as well as on the target cells in the epithelium for HPV infection.

Reanalysis of a century-old example from Sewall Wright shows how some fallacies of distance analysis by correlations can be avoided by careful matching of the distance rosters involved to a different multivariate approach, factor analysis. I reinterpret his example by restoring the information (means and variances) ignored by the correlation matrix, while confirming what Wright called “special size factors” by a different technique, inspection of the concentration matrix $$\Sigma ^{-1}.$$ Σ - 1 . In geometric morphometrics (GMM), data accrue instead as Cartesian coordinates of labelled points; nevertheless, just as in the Wright example, statistical manipulations do better when they reconsider the normalizations that went into the generation of those coordinates. The concept of a UNESCO Global Geopark (UGGp) itself implies that the integration of geological, biological and anthropogenic factors and related values, both tangible and intangible, are at the base of any interpretation, communication, educative practices and enhancement aiming at strengthening the sense of place in local communities, as well as guiding those areas toward sustainable economic growth. However, the measures and good practices codified for UGGps limit their impact on the properties’ boundaries, sometimes neglecting the strong natural, social and cultural link between the listed areas, their surroundings and other serial geosites. The paper introduces a five-step study on selected examples of Geoparks and geosites in Italy, Japan and Tunisia, sometimes also including areas inscribed in the UNESCO list as cultural sites, focusing on the possible role of UGGps as drivers for sustainable development of geotourism. The research considers the contextualization of UNESCO UGGps within a broader territorial scale, introducing the concept of Diffused Geopark as a new opportunity in protection and management practices and as a driver for local economies and internationalization of lesser-known contexts.

In recent years, the issues of integration – related on the one hand to people referred to as foreigners, immigrants, newcomers, etc. – and on the other hand to host societies – have been gaining importance in the Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries, including Poland. Before the political and socio-economic transformation at the turn of the 1980s and the 1990s, it was a country relatively closed to international migration. Only in the early 1990s did it open up to migration fl ows. That was also the time when the state’s policy in this area had been gradually emerging. The preparations for EU membership enforced the process of developing a national migration policy. Poland’s accession to the EU in 2004 and to the Schengen zone in 2007 saw its full involvement in EU migration governance in terms of internal and external policies, and thus the further europeanisation of national law, public policy, and practices in the field of migration management. Recent years have seen a change in Poland’s migration status, which has now become an emigration-immigration state, and the near future may bring about its transition into a new immigration state, especially in connection with the influx of large numbers of forced migrants from Ukraine since the end of February 2022. At the time of writing, that is mid-2022, Poland does not have a formalised integration policy at the central level. National law provides integration measures only for benefi ciaries of international protection (persons with refugee status and subsidiary protection), which concerns a very small group of foreigners. However, the last two decades have seen increased involvement at the local government level (especially in cities) in integration. This is a process taking place in local communities with the support of other actors such as NGOs, informal associations, or universities. One such example is Warsaw, the capital of Poland, where the largest number of migrants, both voluntary and forced, live. This paper aims to explore the selected practices undertaken by some of Warsaw’s municipal institutions and offi ces, which can be treated as an important part of the local integration policy and which could be a role model for other cities less experienced in immigrant integration.

Atualmente as organizações possuem cada vez mais a necessidade de obtenção de tecnologias que facilitem o cumprimento dos seus objetivos e metas e estas têm procurado aplicar novos métodos de gestão para agregar valor ao negócio. Neste contexto, o objetivo deste artigo é propor um método visual automatizado capaz de proporcionar a integração entre o Planejamento Estratégico e a Gestão de Projetos. Para tal, buscou-se estudos na literatura visando identificar modelos visuais destas duas áreas da gestão, assim como, métodos para integrá-las. Após as análises dos estudos encontrados, foi elaborado um novo modelo de canvas para o Planejamento Estratégico, o Operational Planning Canvas, e para a Gestão de Projetos foi selecionado o modelo de canvas já consolidado pela literatura, o Project Model Canvas. Para a elaboração do método automatizado foi desenvolvido um produto de software capaz de integrar estes dois modelos de canvas. Por fim, o produto foi avaliado por meio de um grupo de gestores, onde os resultados obtidos confirmaram a importância da integração entre as duas áreas da gestão organizacional e comprovaram a praticidade e efetividade do método proposto. Como contribuições gerenciais, concluiu-se que o método proposto é capaz de permitir um alinhamento entre o plano estratégico e os planos de projetos de uma organização de forma rápida e eficiente, possibilitando uma rastreabilidade entre as duas áreas da gestão. Currently organizations have an increasing need to obtain technologies that facilitate the achievement of their objectives and goals of organizations and these have sought to apply new management methods to add value to the business. In this context, the objective of this work is to propose a visual and automated method capable of providing the integration between Strategic Planning and Project Management. To this end, studies were sought in the literature to identify visual models of these two management areas, as well as methods to integrate them. After analyzing the studies found, a new canvas model was created for Strategic Planning, the Operational Planning Canvas, and for Project Management, the canvas model already consolidated in the literature, the Project Model Canvas, was selected. For the elaboration of the automated method, a software product capable of integrating these two canvas models was developed. Finally, the product was evaluated by a group of managers and the results obtained confirmed the importance of integration between the two areas of organizational management, and proved the practicality and effectiveness of the proposed method. As managerial contributions, it was concluded that the proposed method is capable of allowing an alignment between the strategic plan and the project plans of an organization quickly and efficiently, allowing a traceability between the two areas of management.

Cet article rend compte d’une modalité de jumelages interculturels qui a été réalisée dans une classe de FLS. Cette analyse vise à tracer les grandes lignes du projet, en d’autres termes à définir les jumelages interculturels, à expliquer leurs visées pour la classe de langue et à rendre compte des fondements de la démarche choisie. L’hypothèse consiste à dire que les jumelages interculturels favorisent les échanges et la communication, mais cela en respectant certains principes. De plus, le projet permettrait aux immigrants de réaliser des tâches avec des francophones dans le but de devenir des locuteurs « interculturels » efficaces.

From the time of their immigration to the present day, Croatian New Zealanders have preserved an awareness of their ethnic origin and have gradually integrated into New Zealand society. Through the hard work and perseverance of the first generation, new generations of Croatian descendants have been able to attend specialized schools, colleges and universities and today are fully integrated into New Zealand society. In the process they preserved their Croatian identity and founded numerous societies through which they nurtured and built their religious, cultural and political identities. The paper chronicles this integration process through the literary work of Amelia Batistich, a New Zealand writer of Croatian origin. Inspired by the history of Croats in New Zealand and their adjustment to new living conditions in a multicultural environment, her work is immersed in the family, historical, religious and mythical memories passed down from her ancestors and which find their identity in the intertwining of two spaces, the former and the present. In her literary work, written mainly in English, she reflects on the legacy of her ancestors and their need to shape their identity in a multicultural environment defined by hybridity and the necessity to find one’s place in a given space.

As Arab states integrate into the global digital space, they share its advantages and risks and are included in the construction of the international information security system. Considering the significant influence of the Arab world on the formation of the world political agenda and the global security system, the study of the specifics of the development of the Arab digital cluster at the present stage acquires not only academic but also political relevance. This article is devoted to the study of the current state, potential and limits of Arab countries cooperation in the field of digital security within the framework of inter-Arab cooperation in multilateral and bilateral formats, as well as interaction with the world leaders in the technological ‘race’. The analysis was based on the methodology of the Global Cybersecurity Index developed by the UN International Telecommunication Union. It includes five key parameters for assessing the readiness of modern states to repel cyberthreats: the regulatory and legal system of national cyber defense, technical capabilities, organizational structure, capacity development measures and international cooperation. Assessing the ‘digital landscape’ of the Arab states, the authors note that the political, financial, economic, historical, and cultural specifics of the Arab countries contribute to the formation of a special environment in the region for countering cyber threats and solving cyber security problems. On the one hand, the digital challenge is forcing the Arab states to overcome some differences, giving a certain impetus to integration processes. On the other hand, the ‘catch-up’ type, and spasmodic dynamics of the digital industry development in the region, as well as the heterogeneity and inconsistency inherent in the Arab world, combined with the traditionally high degree of conflict and the strong influence of external factors, create a heterogeneous and fragmented environment that prevents the formation of a collective response to challenges of the digital age. © Valiakhmetova G.N., Tsukanov L.V., 2022.

Dieser Beitrag zeichnet gemeinsame Entwicklungslinien von Forschungsinformationssystemen und Repositorien nach. Beide Systemwelten haben sich zunächst unabhängig voneinander entwickelt, was ihrer Verankerung in unterschiedlichen Verwaltungseinheiten wissenschaftlicher Einrichtungen geschuldet ist. Im Zuge von Open Access und Open Science, sowie steigenden Anforderungen an die Forschungsberichterstattung haben sich mehr und mehr Schnittmengen ergeben. In dessen Folge treiben Initiativen auf europäischer und nationaler Ebene die Konvergenz und Integration über Grundsatzvereinbarungen, Roadmaps, Leitlinien und Implementierungen beider Systemwelten voran. This article traces common lines of development of research information systems and repositories. Both system worlds initially developed independently of each other, which is due to their anchoring in different administrative units of academic institutions. In the course of Open Access and Open Science, as well as increasing demands on research reporting, more and more intersections have emerged. As a result, initiatives at the European and national levels are driving convergence and integration through fundamental agreements, roadmaps, guidelines and implementations of both system worlds.

The authors aim to draw attention to underestimating and disinterest in conducting a social study on the Roma population in socialism, which was carried out only in the early 1970s. The study on social and pathological phenomena focused on the impacts on the overall societal scale. The researchers did not perform studies in Roma communities and families. The state-controlled blanket assimilation was expected to automatically arouse positive changes in Roma families. Research into social pathology in Roma communities and families was launched only in the second half of the 1990s, mainly after the millennium. The study points to the authors’ archival qualitative research at the turn of 2020 and 2021 in the Slovak National Archives in Bratislava. The second part of the article presents qualitative research on violence against Romani women in connection with the presented effects of not addressing this negative phenomenon. The main goal of the research is to show the extent of interest in the social situation of the Roma during the communist regime and to point out the main problems in the present day.

Im Kontext verstärkter Fluchtmigration(en) nach Deutschland, insbesondere im Zuge des Syrienkrieges, sind zahlreiche Initiativen für, von und mit 'Geflüchtete(n)' entstanden, von denen aktuell viele mit Schulen kooperieren. Basierend auf qualitativen Interviews beschäftigt sich dieser Beitrag mit den Perspektiven zivilgesellschaftlicher Initiativen auf schulische Diskriminierung von Schüler_innen mit (zugeschriebener) Flucht-/Migrationsgeschichte sowie hierauf bezogene Schulentwicklungsprozesse. Identifiziert und analysiert werden verschiedene Spannungsfelder, in denen sich die Kooperation zwischen außerschulischen Bildungsinitiativen und Schulen bewegt, die sowohl behördliche Förderlogiken, machtvolle migrationsgesellschaftliche Diskurse als auch schulische Routinen im Umgang mit Diversität und Differenz tangieren. Über die Analyse werden Potentiale und Herausforderungen hinsichtlich der Bearbeitung von (rassistischer) Diskriminierung im Rahmen der Kooperationen deutlich ebenso wie die Bedeutung eines Verständnisses von diskriminierungssensibler Professionalität als Fähigkeit, mit widersprüchlichen Anforderungen umzugehen. In the context of the increasing forced migration to Germany in the wake of the Syrian war, numerous initiatives for, by and with 'refugees' have emerged, many of which are currently collaborating with schools. Based on qualitative interviews, this article deals with perspectives of civil society initiatives on the discrimination of students with a so-called refugee/migration background and on related school development processes. The article identifies and analyses various fields of tension in which cooperation with schools takes place, which concern administrative funding logics, discourses about and school routines in dealing with diversity and difference in the (post-)migration society. Thereby, potentials and challenges for developing a sustainable response to (racist) discrimination in and through school collaborations become apparent, as does the importance of an understanding of pedagogical competence that is sensitive to discrimination as the ability to deal with contradictory pedagogical demands.

Se analiza la relación entre la IED, la integración comercial, la actividad económica y el bienestar individual de economías representativas de América Latina: Brasil, Chile, Colombia y México. Se utiliza un modelo empírico con datos panel bajo la hipótesis de que la IED puede generar incrementos productivos y el consiguiente beneficio de la integración a nivel del bienestar individual. Aunque se aporta evidencia para consolidar y fortalecer los procesos de integración llevados a cabo, dada la heterogeneidad económica, los resultados obtenidos permiten mostrar la importancia de las medidas de política económica en una economía receptora de IED, The relationship between FDI, trade integration, economic activity and individual well-being of representative economies of Latin America: Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Mexico are analyzed. An empirical model with panel data is used under the hypothesis that FDI can generate productive increases and the consequent benefit of integration at the level of individual welfare. Although evidence is provided to consolidate and strengthen the integration processes carried out, given the economic heterogeneity, the results obtained also show the importance of economic policy measures in an economy that receives FDI

This paper is the first to use empirical evidence to directly examine the relationship between sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) and multi-dimensional processes of integration of forced migrant SGBV survivors. While it is acknowledged that forced migrants are subjected to a continuum of violence, including SGBV, during the refugee journey, little is known about the long-term impact of SGBV and how it might be mitigated. Our paper, drawing on empirical evidence from 255 interviews with migrants and stakeholders in Australia, the UK, Sweden and Turkey, documented in detail the complex interactions between SGBV and integration using the Indicators of Integration framework. By bringing together the literature on the continuum of violence, SGBV and the Indicators of Integration framework, we identify, on the one hand, the impact of SGBV on integration, and, on the other, how the indicators framework can be used to identify protective and risk factors for forced migrant survivors.

The processes of objectively conditioned integration in the economic, political, legal, and institutional spheres of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) Member States took place step by step, starting from preferential trade agreements, passing to the customs union, the common market and other stages of integration. This process is accompanied by the gradual deepening of trade liberalization with potential partners. The selection of potential partners should be carried out through a comprehensive and detailed analysis of the structure and volumes of foreign trade of the EEU Member States (Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia) with third parties, their markets structure, existing customs regulation, trade barriers, and possible export potential. The research evaluated the EEU's possible enlargement effects on the Member States' economic indicators. The research aimed to assess the possible consequences of EEU expansion and signing free trade agreements, considering Pakistan, Korea, and Malaysia as potential trade partners. Modeling the effect of an FTA assumes horizontal zeroing of tariffs between partners. Then, using the GTAP model, a new state of general equilibrium was calculated corresponding to the changed parameters of customs and tariff regulation. In this case, most variables, such as change in GDP, production output, and export-import volumes, were estimated, manifesting the economic effect of trade liberalization.

Civil aircraft that fly long ranges consume a large fraction of civil aviation fuel, injecting an important amount of aviation carbon into the atmosphere. Decarbonising solutions must consider this sector. A philosophical-analytical feasibility of an airliner family to assist in the elimination of carbon dioxide emissions from civil aviation is proposed. It comprises four models based on the integration of the body of a large two-deck airliner with the engines, wings and flight surfaces of a long-range twin widebody jet. The objective of the investigation presented here is to evaluate the impact of liquid hydrogen tank technology in terms of gravimetric efficiency. A range of hydrogen storage gravimetric efficiencies was evaluated; from a pessimistic value of 0.30 to a futuristic value of 0.85. This parameter has a profound influence on the overall fuel system weight and an impact on the integrated performance. The resulting impact is relatively small for the short-range aircraft; it increases with range and is important for the longer-range aircraft. For shorter-range aircraft variants, the tanks needed to store the hydrogen are relatively small, so the impact of tank weight is not significant. Longer range aircraft are weight constrained and the influence of tank weight is important. In the case of the longest range, the deliverable distance increases from slightly over 4,000 nautical miles, with a gravimetric efficiency of 0.3, to nearly 7,000 with a gravimetric efficiency of 0.85.

This study presents new knowledge arising from teachers’ verbal accounts of successes and obstacles inthe organizational and practical work of upper-secondary schools with newly arrived students. The ethnographic material is based on 33 teacher interviews and 11 fair copies of field notes from observations inupper-secondary school contexts. Analysis of the empirical data was conducted within the framing of socialconstructivist theories and previous research. The analysis reveals several dimensions contributing to the construction and reconstruction of successes and obstacles in the teachers’ accounts. Teachers areconstructed as actors with a power advantage relative to the “newly arrived student.” They set the agenda forstudent behavior, with an inclusive approach that is crucial to achieving success and counteracting obstacles. The approach imposes demands on how upper-secondary schools organize their work with newly arrived students and plays a role in determining supports and room for maneuvering that teachers have. The construction of normatively right (morally right) and deviant (morally wrong) action in the verbal interactive dynamic contributes to the creation and re-creation of both the recognition and exclusion of teachers and newly arrived students in and from the school context. This interactive dynamic implicitly highlights how actors with higher status in the school context (teachers) can use verbal means (language) as an interactive assertion of power to mark the position of actors with lower status in the school context (newly arrived students). The power to define and redefine the actor with lower status in the school context is conveyed, acted out, and exercised by teachers using verbal accounts. These interactions provide the space to control and oppress newly arrived students who, in that situation, occasionally are also engaged in a struggle for recognition in the school context. Previous research draws attention to the importance of raising awareness of teachers’ professional role in relation to power aspects and language used in interpersonal interactions in the school context. School success for newly arrived students: possibilities, obstacles, identities and collaboration

The idea of integrating Islamic values in non-religion subjects is still in the process of shaping its format. Many possibilities and flexibilities of the integration are existing and practiced by English teachers at Islamic Junior High School—knowingly as Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs). Also, in the middle of endless idea of integration, teachers have been trying to apply the integration based on their beliefs and situation. This study outlines the teachers’ best practices on integrating Islamic values in English lesson at MTs in Jawa Timur. By using descriptive qualitative method, this study portraits 6 English as Foreign Language (EFL) teachers’ best practices. Data were taken from classroom observation, interview, and documentation which then were analysed as best practices. Best practices refer to the practice of integration which is considered as working practice from each teacher’s situation. The situation was mostly influenced by teachers’ lack of confidence to contextualize and operationalize the values into the teaching materials and activities, and the lack of model for integration. Further study on how to operationalize the integration, and on developing the model of integration will be worth exploring.
