Diglyphus Walker, 1844 (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae) is an economically important genus including species acting as biocontrol agents against agromyzid leafminer pests. A new species of Diglyphus, Diglyphus difasciatus Liu, Hansson & Wan, sp. nov., was discovered during the identification of agromyzid leafminers and their associated parasitoid wasps collected from 2016 to 2022 in China, based on morphological characteristics and molecular analyses of COI, ITS2 and 28S genes. Diglyphus difasciatus is similar to D. bimaculatus Zhu, LaSalle & Huang, distinguished by two interconnected infuscate vertical bands on the fore wing and the color of the scape. Molecular data support D. difasciatus and D. bimaculatus as two different species. The mean genetic distances between D. difasciatus and D. bimaculatus were 11.33%, 8.62%, and 0.18%, based on the COI, ITS2, and 28S genes, respectively.

The dissolution behaviour of three corn starches, including corn starch (CS), high amylose corn starch (HACS) and waxy corn starch (WCS) with different amylose content in 1-allyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride ([AMIM]Cl) and 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride ([BMIM]Cl) were studied by comparing their dissolution state in ionic liquids (ILs). Further, the structural and thermal properties of the regenerated starch were analyzed. WCS with the lowest amylose content had the fastest dissolution rate, the most extensive structural damage, and the lowest solubility and required the maximum energy for dissolution. In the process of dissolution-regeneration, the A-type crystalline structure of WCS and CS was completely destroyed and transformed into an amorphous structure, while the B-type crystalline structure of HACS transformed into an ordered V-shaped structure. And the thermal stability of starch was improved after dissolution-regeneration in ILs. Among the two kinds of ILs, [AMIM] Cl had a better ability to dissolve starch, causing minor damage to the starch.

Recently, some authors studied the distributive equations for continuous t-norms and some families of usual classes of uninorms over overlap functions in Refs. 25 and 32, but lacked a complete characterization of the distributivity on idempotent uninorms and overlap or grouping functions widely used in image processing. As a supplement to the previous results, in this article we fully characterize the distributivity equations of idempotent uninorms over these two functions by virtue of the associated functions of idempotent uninorms. Moreover, we also discuss the distributivity conditions of above two special functions over idempotent uninorms, yet find in this case that the associated functions of idempotent uninorms must satisfy particular conditions and those two functions usually are a class of special aggregation functions with a constant domain whose value equals to the neutral element of the idempotent uninorm.

Hymenopteran parasitoids generally show a haplo-diploid sex determination system. Haploid males are produced from unfertilized eggs, whereas diploid females develop from fertilized eggs (arrhenotokous). In some cases, diploid females develop from unfertilized eggs (thelytokous). Diglyphus wani (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae) is a biological control agent for agromyzid leafminers and have arrhenotokous and thelytokous strains. However, the morphological characteristics of two strains of D. wani are so similar that it is difficult to accurately distinguish them based on morphology. Here, a rapid molecular identification method was developed based on the mitochondrial gene cytochrome c oxidase I (COI) and one-step multiplex PCR. Two primer combinations, PC1 (Ar-F1/Th-F1/WR2) and PC2 (Ar-F1/Th-F4/WR2), were designed and repeatedly screened to distinguish two strains simultaneously, of which two special forward primers Th-F1/Th-F4 were used for the thelytokous strain and one special forward primer Ar-F1 was used for the arrhenotokous strain. In addition, a common reverse primer, WR2, was used for both strains. The PC1 and PC2 PCR assays were effective in distinguishing the two strains at different developmental stages and field colonies. This method provides a reliable, highly sensitive, and cost-effective tool for the rapid identification of the two strains of D. wani.

To confirm the inter-side difference of bone age evaluated with conventional ultrasound.In this prospective study, patients aged between 3 and 15 years with referral for bone age evaluation from the pediatric outpatient and inpatient department in our general medical institute were enrolled from March to October 2021. Bone ages from left and right side were evaluated with ultrasound using a summed ossification ratio of radius, ulna, and femur in all patients. For comparison, radiographic bone ages were assessed with X-ray films of the left hand and wrist.A total of 192 patients were enrolled into the study, including 95 boys (10.5 years [3.2-14.6 years]) and 97 girls (8.7 years [3.7-15.4 years]). In the girls, the ossification ratio of the right radius was greater than the left (P = .030) and the ultrasonic bone age from the right side was more advanced than the left (P = .007). The differences of the left and right ultrasonic bone age were -0.66 to 0.61 years in the boys and -0.89 to 0.67 years in the girls. The differences of right ultrasonic bone age and radiographic bone age were -0.77 to 1.01 years in the boys and -1.12 to 1.14 years in the girls. The differences of left ultrasonic bone age and radiographic bone age were -0.73 to 0.91 years in the boys and -1.16 to 0.90 years in the girls.Clinically important difference can be obtained from the left and right side when assessed bone age with the ossification ratio of bones by ultrasound, especially in girls. Both sides should be evaluated in clinical work.

A total synthesis of nonasaccharide repeating units and shorter sequences from Phellinus ribis glycans with strong immunostimulating activities was achieved by an orthogonal one-pot glycosylation strategy based on an N-phenyltrifluoroacetimidate glycosylation, a Yu glycosylation, and an ortho-(1-phenylvinyl)benzoate glycosylation. The issues inherent to thioglycosides-based orthogonal one-pot glycosylations, such as aglycone transfer, are eliminated by this one-pot glycosylation strategy, which streamlines the chemical synthesis of glycans.

In this paper, CuOx@Ag/CeO2 catalysts were synthesized by simple wet-chemical method and equal volume impregnation method. The obtained catalysts were subjected to soot temperature programmed oxidation (soot-TPO) activity tests and were further characterized by various techniques such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy/high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (TEM/HR-TEM), N2 physisorption, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and H2- temperature programmed reduction (H2-TPR). The results show that CuOx@Ag/CeO2 synthesized presents well controlled core-shell structures, with nano-cube like Cu2O as the core and Ag decorated polycrystalline CeO2 grafting layers as the shell. Such core-shell structured CuOx@Ag/CeO2 can successfully construct a secondary oxygen delivery channel (CuOx → CeO2 → Ag) to effectively transfer bulk oxygen of the catalyst to the soot, resulting in its excellent soot oxidation activity compared to CuOx@CeO2. The potential benefiting effect by Ag introduction over Cu@Ag/Ce can be concluded as: (i) pumping lattice oxygen and accelerating gaseous O2 dissociation to generate significantly increased active surface oxygen content; (ii) modulating a moderate surface oxygen vacancies concentration to maintain more highly active O2– species.

Background Remimazolam tosilate (RT) is a novel short-acting GABA (A) receptor agonist that has a rapid recovery from procedural sedation and can be fully reversed by flumazenil. To date, there have been relatively few articles comparing RT and propofol for general anesthesia. This study aimed to assess the efficacy and safety of RT with or without flumazenil compared with propofol in general anesthesia for day surgery. Methods 115 patients scheduled for day surgery were randomized into three groups: RT (n = 39), RT + flumazenil (n = 38) and propofol (n = 38). The primary endpoints were anesthesia induction time and time until fully alert. Anesthesia success rate, bispectral index (BIS) values, injection pain, opioid and vasopressor dosages, postoperative recovery profiles and perioperative inflammatory and cognitive changes were assessed. Any adverse events were recorded. Results Induction times were similar among the three groups (P = 0.437), but the median time until fully alert in patients treated with RT was longer than that of the propofol or RT + flumazenil groups (17.6 min vs. 12.3 min vs. 12.3 min, P 0.05). Smaller percentages of patients who received RT (26.3%) and RT + flumazenil (31.6%) developed hypotension during anesthesia maintenance compared with propofol (68.4%), and consequently less ephedrine (P Conclusion RT permits rapid induction and comparable recovery profile compared with propofol in general anesthesia for day surgery, but has a prolonged recovery time without flumazenil. The safety profile of RT was superior to propofol in terms of hypotension and injection pain. As important regulatory molecules, LncRNAs play an important role in regulating the pathological progress of malignant tumor. However, the effect of LncRNA-HOXD-AS2 on the prognosis of colorectal cancer and its regulatory mechanism has not been confirmed. Therefore, this study obtained the transcriptome data and clinicopathological characteristics of colorectal cancer from TCGA database to predict the impact of HOXD-AS2 on the prognosis of patients and its regulatory mechanism. It was found that the high expression of HOXD-AS2 had a positive relationship with the expression of pathological T and tumor stages and can significantly reduce the overall survival of patients and have diagnostic value for prognosis. Subsequent, GSEA prediction found that HOXD-AS2 could promote the activation of TGF-β signaling pathway. MTT assay and Ki67 staining assay confirmed that HOXD-AS2 knockdown could significantly inhibit the proliferation ability of the SW480 and SW620 cells of colorectal cancer. Transwell assay and wound healing assay demonstrated that knockdown of HOXD-AS2 could significantly inhibit the invasion and migration of SW480 and SW620 cells. Finally, Western blotting showed that the knockdown of HOXD-AS2 could significantly reduce the expression level of key proteins of TGF-β signaling pathway. Collectively, this study revealed the regulatory effect of HOXD-AS2 on the pathological mechanism of colorectal cancer for the first time, and broadened the molecular function of HOXD-AS2. The increased expression of HOXD-AS2 in colorectal cancer can be used as a biological target for the biological treatment of colorectal cancer.

We develop a new structure of the Green's function of a second-order elliptic operator in divergence form in a 2D bounded domain. Based on this structure and the theory of rearrangement of functions, we construct concentrated traveling-rotating helical vortex patches to 3D incompressible Euler equations in an infinite pipe. Atmospheric turbulence is an intrinsic factor that causes uncertainty of wind speed and its power generation by wind turbine. The research of atmospheric turbulence characteristics of wind farms can be used to reduce this uncertainty. In this paper, enough measurement data getting from actual wind farms is used for information processing to quantitatively analyze the daily variation of wind speed and its power output characteristics. Furthermore, the concept of spatiotemporal diurnal modulation characteristics of atmospheric turbulence is proposed with a global scope, which is an intrinsic property of wind. Besides the daily variation characteristics, the average hourly wind speed has a short-term modulation effect on its turbulence and provides a modulation characteristic on wind speed uncertainty. Moreover, the long-term modulation process is affected by seasonal and regional factors, indicating that it has spatiotemporal characteristics. This atmospheric turbulence characteristic has similar effects on characteristic description parameters. However, the characteristics description parameters of wind speed and wind power variation fail to reflect such intrinsic characteristics that are not affected by the spatiotemporal diurnal modulation characteristics of atmospheric turbulence. This indicates that they do not have diurnal characteristics. Finally, a time-varying model combined with the spatiotemporal diurnal modulation characteristics of wind speed and its power generation is discussed by applying on the evaluation of frequency control in power systems. It is shown that the results obtained by measured data processing could improve the power generation quality of large-scale wind power effectively.

In order to ensure the safety and stability of the new energy power system, many power units will be maintained at low-load state for a long time during peak-load regulation in China. However, the partial arc admission of the nozzle governing mode will cause uneven temperature distribution in the circumferential direction after GS, which will affect real-time thermal stress of the rotor. Toward this end, this paper proposes a real-time evaluation method of thermal stress for rotors in low-load conditions. First of all, the solution boundary conditions of thermal stress model can be obtained by designing the measuring points arrangement after GS, which comprehensively takes into account the uneven temperature distribution of GS under low-load conditions. In the meantime, various punching schemes are analyzed by ANSYS, which used to analyze the influence of cylinder structure strength caused by the new measuring point punching of each scheme. The result shows that the punching impact on the stress and deformation of cylinder is not obvious, which has a great significance to reduce minimum technical output and improve peak governing capability of thermal power unit.

In order to save energy consumption, improve network performance and prolong the life cycle of communication network, a reasonable relay selection algorithm for energy collection wireless sensor networks is proposed. Firstly, taking solar wireless sensor network as an example, the energy consumption and solar energy state of sensor nodes are mathematically analyzed. Then, the cooperation probability is optimized with the interruption probability threshold as the constraint, and the relay nodes participating in the cooperative transmission are controlled to save the energy of cooperative transmission in the system. According to the solar energy status, network energy balance, signal-to-noise ratio and outage probability of the relay node, a multi criteria relay selection strategy is adopted to select the optimal node. Compared with the comparison algorithm, this algorithm can save at least 47.1% power consumption and prolong the network lifetime by 25.9%.

Hypothesis Droplet spreading on surfaces is a ubiquitous phenomenon in nature and is relevant with a wide range of applications. In practical scenarios, surfaces are usually associated with certain levels of vibration. Although vertical or horizontal modes of vibration have been used to promote droplet dewetting, bouncing from immiscible medium, directional transport, etc., a quantitative understanding of how external vibration mediates the droplet behaviors remains to be revealed. Methods We studied droplets impacting on stationary and vibratory surfaces, respectively. In analogy to the Weber number We = ρ U i 2 D 0 / γ , we define the vibration Weber number We * = ρ U v 2 D 0 / γ to quantitively analyze the vibration-induced dynamic pressure on droplet behaviors on vibratory surfaces, where ρ , γ , D 0 , U i and U v are liquid density, surface tension, initial droplet diameter, impact velocity of the droplet, and velocity amplitude of vibration, respectively. Findings We demonstrate that the effect of vibration on promoting droplet spreading can be captured by a new scaling number expressed as We * / [ We 1\2 sin ( θ/2 ) ] , leading to (Dm − Dm0)/Dm0 ∝ We * / [ We 1\2 sin ( θ/2 ) ] , where θ is the contact angle, and Dm0 and Dm are the maximum diameter of the droplet on stationary and vibratory surfaces, respectively. The scaling number illustrates the relative importance of vibration-induced dynamic pressure compared to inertial force and surface tension. Together with other well-established non-dimensional numbers, this scaling number provides a new dimension and framework for understanding and controlling droplet dynamics. Our findings can also find applications such as improving the power generation efficiency, intensifying the deposition of paint, and enhancing the heat transfer of droplets.

A permanent magnet synchronous reluctance machine (PMSynRM) is studied in this paper. It has a stack of surface-mounted permanent magnet (SPM) rotor and a stack of synchronous reluctance (SynR) rotor, which are axially combined on the shaft. Unlike the traditional PM-assisted SynR machine (PMASynRM), the magnets are not located in the flux barriers of the SynR rotor, therefore, the magnets and flux barriers have no more geometric confliction between them. The two rotor stacks can be circumferentially shifted to any relative angle. Clearly, the shifting angle and the axial length ratio between the two rotor stacks, together with the phase angle of the armature current vector, influence the motor performance, and their optimal design is detailed in this paper. Analysis of the prototypes shows that the studied PMSynRM evidently exhibits higher torque density than the conventional PMASynRM.

Neonates who receive repeated or prolonged general anesthesia before the age of 4 are at a significantly higher risk of developing cognitive dysfunction later in life. In this study, we investigated the effects of repeated neonatal propofol exposure on hippocampal synaptic plasticity, neuronal excitability, and cognitive function. Adeno-associated SIRT1 virus with CaMKIIɑ promotor and a viral vector carrying the photosensitive gene ChR2 with the CaMKIIɑ promotor, as well as their control vectors, were stereotaxically injected into the hippocampal CA1 region of postnatal day 5 (PND-5) rats. PND-7 rats were given intraperitoneal injection of 60 mg/kg propofol or fat emulsion for three consecutive days. Western blotting, Golgi staining, and double immunofluorescence staining were used to evaluate the SIRT1 expression, synaptic plasticity, and the excitability of neurons in the hippocampal CA1 region. The Morris water maze (MWM) test was conducted on PND-30 to assess the learning and memory abilities of rats. Repeated neonatal propofol exposure reduced SIRT1 expression, suppressed synaptic plasticity, decreased glutamatergic neuron excitability in the hippocampus, and damaged learning and memory abilities. Overexpression of SIRT1 attenuated propofol-induced cognitive dysfunction, excitation-inhibition imbalance, and synaptic plasticity damage. After optogenetic stimulation of glutamatergic neurons in the hippocampal CA1 region, the learning and memory abilities of rats exposed to propofol were improved on PND-30. Our findings demonstrate that SIRT1 plays an important role in cognitive dysfunction induced by repeated neonatal propofol exposure by suppressing synaptic plasticity and neuronal excitability.

A novel method based on covariance vector sparse Bayesian learning (CV-SBL) is proposed in this letter to reconstruct the vertical structure of forests using a small number of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images. This method regards the inversion of forests reflectivity profiles in the wavelet domain as a sparse signal reconstruction (SSR). Based on the covariance matrix matching criterion, the backscatter power of forests signal and noise will be jointly solved adaptively. Through a few iterations, the exact positions of the closely spaced phase centers can be obtained to simplify the characterization of the vertical structure of the forests. Unlike the traditional compressive sensing (CS) method based on l₁ norm convex optimization, the novel method can obtain a real sparse solution without setting hyper-parameters and has a more reliable and accurate reconstruction performance. Besides, the computational efficiency of the new method is much higher than that of the l₁ minimization CS method, and it is more suitable for large-scale forests mapping applications. The proposed method is validated using P-band TropiSAR 2009 data set over a test site in Paracou, French Guiana. Furthermore, the reconstruction performance of the proposed method is compared with the spectral analysis methods (Beamforming and Capon) and the l₁ minimization super-resolution CS.

A novel distributed scatterer interferometric synthetic aperture radar (DS-InSAR) method is presented in which the sum of Kronecker product (SKP) decomposition method is applied to DS candidates. Unlike existing polarimetric optimization methods, the proposed method considers polarimetric and interferometric coherence information simultaneously, resulting in separation of the polarimetric scattering process for each target and the maximum diversity for the corresponding phase center locations. Physical reliability of the phase optimization solution is thereby ensured. The performance of the novel method is evaluated using 30 quad-polarized C-band Radarsat-2 synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images over Kilauea Volcano, Hawaii. The proposed method provides a higher density of measurement scatterer (MS) points and a higher quality of DS interferometric phase with a temporally stable phase center than single-polarization (HH) method and quad-polarization exhaustive search polarimetric optimization (ESPO) method. Thus, the proposed method shows good performance in phase quality improvement and point density increasement.

For the reason of rapid evolution of antibiotic resistance in Staphylococcus aureus, antivirulence therapy may be a promising alternative for effective control of spread of resistant pathogens. The Chinese Materia Medica has been widely used for treatment of disease and production of health food, and it remains a valuable resource for discovery of compounds possessing antivirule nce activity.Through a Caenorhabditis elegans infection model, EtOAc-soluble fraction of 80% EtOH extract of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge (SMEA) was found to possess potential anti-infective activity against S. aureus. Then, several in vitro assays indicated that SMEA had robust antivirulence activity at the dose of 400 μg/mL, reducing hemolytic activity and α-hemolysin expression in S. aureus. Furthermore, at 100 mg/kg, SMEA reduced abscess formation in the main organs of mice challenged with S. aureus. In order to identify the bioactive components of SMEA and investigate the mechanisms underlying the antivirulence activity, SMEA was separated using bioassay-guided fractionation. As a result, eight compounds were identified in SMEA. Among them, tanshinone IIB (TNB) showed strong antivirulence activity both in vitro and in vivo. Furthermore, at 24 μg/mL, TNB significantly reduced the expression of RNAIII and psmα, indicating that the mechanism underlying TNB activity was related to the accessory gene regulator quorum sensing system. Collectively, the antivirulence effect of TNB making it a promising candidate for the development of drugs used against S. aureus infections.

The concept of low-carbon economic development has led to changes in the business environment and financial environment of enterprises, leading to increased financial risks faced by enterprises. How to help enterprises better warn, prevent and control financial risks from the perspective of low-carbon economy has become a hot issue worth studying. Based on this, this paper is based on the perspective of low carbon economy, on the basis of analyzing the financing risk, investment risk, capital operation risk and growth risk faced by enterprises under the requirements of low carbon economy development. A set of financial risk management framework with clear hierarchy and strict vertical logic has been constructed. Ten financial early-warning indicators are constructed from four aspects. The risk prediction model of the indicator system is established using the research method of BPNN (Back Propagation Neural Network). The model is trained and simulated through the MATLAB neural network toolbox. After 10 indicators passed Bartlett’s correlation test, the BPNN financial early warning model was programmed using MATLAB software. The accuracy rate was 84.3%. The neural network training results show that when the layer node is 8, the best correct recognition rate can be obtained. Incorporate “low carbon” into the financial risk early warning indicator system that meets the requirements of low carbon economic development in the design of enterprise financial risk early warning indicators. This paper is expected to provide reference and reference for low-carbon economy enterprises to deal with financial risks under the new situation.
