We aimed to study the phenotypic and genotypic characteristics of carbapenem-resistant K. pneumoniae (CRKP) isolates from a hospital in Beijing.Methods: Twenty-four CRKP clinical isolates were collected within a half-year to investigate antimicrobial resistance and genomic characteristics. Illumina and Nanopore sequencing were performed to assemble and annotate genomes.Results: All strains were multi-drug resistant. Twenty-two strains carried the blaKPC-2 gene and two harbored blaNDM-5. Multilocus sequence type(MLST) analysis identified five sequence types; most isolates belonged to ST11. Three strains were isolated from the same patient; each carried a different plasmid replicon, either IncFII (pHN7A8), IncX, or IncFIB (K).Conclusion: This study furthers the understanding of CRKP antimicrobial resistance genotypes, and may facilitate the control of nosocomial infections caused by antimicrobial-resistant pathogens.Keywords: Klebsiella pneumoniae, drug resistance, carbapenemase, ST11, blaKPC-2

Inversion of gravity data is one the important steps in the interpretation of practical data. The detection of sharp boundaries between anomalous bodies and host rocks is an interesting point in the geological frameworks. The gravity inversion with sparsity constraint is a useful method to recover block subsurface density distribution, which is efficiently used for the quantitative interpretation of gravity data. The reweighted regularized method is a useful method to solve the inverse problem. However, in this type, we must face the updating gravity forward matrix and large matrix operation. The application of Lanczos bidiagonalization method can reduce the size of data and matrix in the inversion to resolve the large scale inversion problem. However, a very important problem is not resolved, which is update of reweighted forward matrix and new Lanczos bidiagonalization matrix. Here, an adaptive Lanczos bidiagonalization method is studied to select the Lanczos bidiagonalization factor. And a new projected method with adaptive Lanczos bidiagonalization method is study to avoid the updating sparsity reweighted function. We calculate the reweighted forward matrix and Lanczos bidiagonalization matrix only one time, which can essentially reduce the computational complexity. The inversion results of synthetic data show that the new improved method is faster and better than common reweight regularized Lanczos bidiagonalization method to produce an acceptable solution for focusing inverse problem. The improvement of adaptive Lanczos bidiagonalization in sparsity gravity inversion is also tested on gravity data collected over the Mobrun massive sulfide ore body in Noranda, Quebec, Canada. The inversion results indicate a remarkable correlation with true structure of the ore body that is achieved from drilling data.

One component room temperature vulcanized (RTV) silicone resin was prepared by combination of a kind of polydimethylsiloxane-b-phenylsilsesquioxane copolymer with crosslinker and catalyst. The effects of feeding order on properties of cured silicone resin were studied in detail. When hydroxyl terminated polydimethylsiloxane was added in three times and the D/T ratio was 2.0~2.3 during synthesis, the cured resin with the hardness over 20Shore D had the better elastic-plastic properties and heat resistance than the other two feeding orders. The tensile strength was over 3MPa and the elongation at break was above 75%. The Td5% was 416.6°C.The silicone resin also had good radiation resistance. At the radiation dose of 1500kGy, there was no obvious defect observed in the material, and the tensile strength increased to 6.83MPa, while elongation at break decreased to 26%.

Thermal conductivities of silicone rubber filled with Al2O3 were prepared. Thermal conductivity experimental results obtained were analyzed using the Nielsen and Agari models to explain the effect of Al2O3 filler on the formation of thermal conductive networks. Thermal conductivities increased with the adding of mixed Al2O3 of large and small sizes fillers. The scanning electron microscopy (SEM) showed that it is the optimum particle sizes and quantities that made the filler packing closer, which thus leads to formation of more thermal conductive chains.

In order to prepare polyurethane–polysiloxane block copolymers, α,ω-hydroxyalkyl polysiloxanes with methacrylate side chain and α,ω-bis(2-methyl-3-hydroxypropyl)polymethyl(2-methyl-methylpropanoate) siloxanes, were synthesized and characterized in this study. The syntheses process included hydroxyl protection, hydrosilylation, deprotection, and ring-opening equilibrium reactions. The intermediates and target products were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and 1H nuclear magnetic resonance methods. The characterization results showed that each step was successfully carried out in all the cases. Then the waterborne polyurethane–polysiloxane block copolymers were prepared via step-growth polymerization. The properties of the block copolymer films were characterized by thermal gravimetric analysis, differential scanning calorimetry, and dynamic thermomechanical analysis methods in detail. The experimental results showed that the block introduction of hydroxyalkyl polysiloxane could reduce the water absorption of waterborne polyurethane from 62 to 11%, and significantly improve the water resistance of polyurethane. With the introduction of polysiloxane, the tensile strength decreased and the elongation at break increased. At the same time, with the increase of the polysiloxane content, the glass transition temperature of the soft segment decreased to −56.4°C and the thermal decomposition temperature increased to 300°C. The results revealed that the introduction of polysiloxane could effectively improve the comprehensive performance of polyurethane–polysiloxane block copolymer films.

Carbon neutralization is an urgent task in society because of the global warming threat. And carbon trading is an essential market mechanics to solve carbon reduction targets. Macro carbon price prediction is vital in the useful management and decision-making of the carbon market. We focus on the EU carbon market and we choose oil price, coal price, gas price, and DAX index to be the four market factors in predicting carbon price, and also we select carbon emission targets from Paris Accord as the political factor in the carbon market in terms of the macro view of the carbon price prediction. Thus we use these five factors as inputs to predict the future carbon yearly price in 2030 with the support vector regression models. We use grid search and cross validation to guarantee the prediction performance of our models. We believe this model will have great applications in the macro carbon price prediction.

Background: Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) is the second most common cardiomyopathy in childhood with a life-threatening risk. Implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) placement is recommended for early prevention if there are two or more clinical risk factors. Pediatric patients with HCM are at a higher risk of sudden cardiac death (SCD), but there are limited reports on indications for ICD implantation in children. Herein we describe the case of Myh7 mutation-induced HCM and cardiac arrest in a patient and evaluated information originating from genetic background to guide ICD administration.Case Presentation: The patient was a girl aged 7 years and 8 months who had been diagnosed with cardiomyopathy in utero 8 years prior. She had had recurrent cardiac arrests within the last 4 years. Electrocardiography indicated abnormalities in conduction, and ST segment changes. Echocardiography indicated significant left ventricular hypertrophy and hypertrophic systolic interventricular septum. Cardiac magnetic resonance imaging depicted general heart enlargement with hypertrophy, and delayed enhancement in myocardium with perfusion defect was also evident. Whole exon sequencing identified a de novo c.2723T>C (p.L908P) heterozygous mutation in the MYH7 gene. MYH7 p.L908P predicted unstable protein structure and impaired function. The patient was scheduled for ICD implantation. There were no complications after ICD implantation, and she was discharged from hospital on the 10th day. Regular oral beta-blockers, amiodarone, spironolactone, and enalapril were administered, and she was required to attend hospital regularly for follow-up. During follow-up there were no cardiac arrests. Literature review of clinical prognoses associated with genetic mutations of MYH7, MYBPC3, TNNI3, TNNT2, and TPM1 in pediatric HCM patients with and without ICD implantation indicated that they were totally differently. Previous reports also indicated that gene mutations predicted earlier onset of cardiac hypertrophy, and increase likelihood of SCD.Conclusion: Variant burden and variant type contribute to the risk of adverse events in pediatric HCM. Early recognition and intervention are vital in children. Gene mutation could be considered an indication for early ICD placement during standard risk stratification of HCM patients. Whether this extends to the majority of pediatric patients requires further investigation.

Rubidium in muscovite was selectively extracted using a chlorination roasting-water immersion method. The experimental results revealed that the chlorination effects of this metal were best when the roasting temperature was 800 °C. After 30 min of water immersion, the extraction rate of rubidium was the highest (96.71%), and XRD and SEM-EDS were used to analyze the migration transformation of elements and the phase changes that occurred during the chlorination roasting process. Finally, the non-isothermal kinetics of the muscovite chlorination roasting process was investigated via TG-DTA. The results revealed that the most probable mechanism for this process in non-isothermal conditions was the 3-D diffusion (Z-L-T) model with the integral form with g(a) = [(1-α)-1/3–1]2. The activation energy was determined to be 216.92 kJ·mol−1. Furthermore, the kinetic equation for fitting the results was formulated.

Crosslinker (polyvinylsilicone oil, C gum) and curing agent (2, 5-bis (tert-butyl peroxy)-2, 5-dimethyl hexane, DBPMH) were used to change the crosslink density of the thermal conductivity of silicone rubber filled with Al2O3. The results show that the thermal conductivity of silicone rubber changed with its degree of crosslinking. When the Al2O3 loading was 5 vol. % and a completely continuous conducting network had not formed, the thermal conductivity of the vulcanizates decreased with increasing crosslink density. The thermal conductivity of the vulcanizate with a suitable amount of C gum increased to 53%, and the tensile strength increased by 0.8 MPa compared to the vulcanizate without C gum. When the Al2O3 loading was 30 vol. % and a completely continuous conducting network had formed, the crosslink density of vulcanizates changed as the amount of DBPMH changed. The thermal conductivity of vulcanizates first decreased and then increased with increasing crosslink density. There was a valley value in the thermal conductivity–crosslink density curve.

One component room temperature vulcanized (RTV) silicone resin was prepared by combination of a kind of D-T polysiloxane block copolymer with crosslinker and catalyst. Transparent coating with good elastoplasticity without any inorganic filler could be obtained by exposing the RTV silicone to air at room temperature. The structure of D-T block copolymer played an important role in the properties of the cured products. It was synthesized by polycondensation of partially hydrolyzed phenyltrimethoxysilane (phenylsilsesquioxane, T units) with silanol end-capped polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS, D units). The effects of the viscosity of phenylsilsesquioxane and the D/T ratio on the properties of cured product were investigated. When phenylsilsesquioxane (10000cP at 80°C) was used and the D/T ratio was 2.0~2.3, cured products with tensile strength above 2.5MPa and elongation above 70% were prepared. RTV silicone resin composed of such kind of D-T block copolymer had good heat resistance because the existence of phenyl group and the highly cross-linked 3D structure. The Tonset was 387.6°C and the Tmax was 518°C.

We present a compact diode-pumped Tm/Ho:YLF laser, via integrating the Tm-doped and Ho-doped YLF crystals into a single bulk gain medium. Gain spectral model was developed first to the predict the potential Tm:YLF laser wavelength using different types of output coupling, for enhancing resonant absorption of the Ho:YLF crystal. Further verification were carried out by intra-cavity pumping the Ho:YLF laser with a Tm:YLF laser, where maximum output power of 11.3 W at 2.06 μm with near diffraction limited beam quality was obtained with conversion efficiency of 28.2% by considering the incident 793 nm diode power. In the Tm/Ho:YLF laser, maximum output power of 10.2 W at 2063 nm with power instability of 0.55% was obtained, corresponding to a slope efficiency of 29.6 % and optical conversion efficiency of 25.5%. The results provide a compact, accessible, and efficient Ho laser scheme, with has potential applications in wind lidar, surgeries, material processing, and nonlinear frequency conversion toward the mid-infrared region.

Seneca Valley virus (SVV) strain (SVA/GD/China/2018) was first isolated from a buffalo farm in Guangdong, China, using seven mammalian cell lines. A genetic analysis revealed that SVA/GD/China/2018 had a high nucleotide similarity with the porcine-origin SVV strains, revealing potential cross-species transmission of SVV from pigs to buffaloes.

This work provides a simple method to prepare a hydrophilic/oleophobic coating using polyester filter cloth as the substrate, a mixture of three hydrophilic polymers (poly(aspartic acid), poly(acrylic acid), and poly(vinyl alcohol)); SiO2 with an average particle size of 30 nm is used to improve the surface roughness of the filter cloth. Then, a long fluorocarbon chain of 1H,1H,2H,2H-perfluorooctyltriethoxysilane is grafted onto the surface by a vacuum silanization coupling reaction to obtain hydrophilic/oleophobic properties. The water and hexadecane contact angles of the treated filter cloth are 3 and 99.8°, respectively. A separation efficiency of 98% was achieved in hexadecane/water separation. The durability test shows that the separation efficiency of toward hexadecane-water mixture remains more than 98% after 20 cycles. The obtained material also presents a strong underwater antipollution property when using hexane, rapeseed oil, mineral oil, and pump oil as model pollutants. For oils with higher viscosity, the separation efficiency remains above 97%. However, the separation efficiency is ∼80% when treating emulsions.

In this paper, aiming at the problem of chrome-iron separation in electroplating sludge, the separation of ferrochrome by complexation and precipitation with benzoic acid as complexing agent is achieved. The optimal conditions consisted of a 1: 3 molar ratio of Fe3+: C6H5COOH, a reaction temperature of 30°C, a final pH of 2.5 and a reaction time of 2 min. The separation rate of the iron was 97.38% and the rate of loss of chromium was only 3.59%. The ferrochromium separation products were analyzed by XRD, fluorescence spectroscopy, infrared spectroscopy and H NMR Spectroscopy in order to study the mechanism of precipitation. The results showed that benzoic acid preferentially forms a complex with iron and iron benzoate precipitates with an increase pH. The iron benzoate crystals have a fine particle size, settle rapidly and are easy to filter. The separation of Cr 3+/Fe3+ was successful using our methodology.

In recent years, with the rapid development of computer technology, 3D reconstruction technology has gradually entered people’s lives. 3D reconstruction is one of the more popular research directions in the field of computer vision. Three-dimensional reconstruction mainly studies the process of how to obtain three-dimensional information based on single-view or multi-view reconstruction. With the growing demand for computers to automatically obtain three-dimensional information of the surrounding environment, the practical application requirements for three-dimensional reconstruction technology are also getting higher and higher. Therefore, how to quickly and efficiently reconstruct 3D models has become an important research topic in the field of computer vision. In view of this practical application problem, this paper starts from the perspective such as Structure from Motion,Clustering Multi-view Stereo,Patch-based Multi-View Stereo and other aspects, and use the learning-based method to match the sift feature points. In this paper, we mainly research on several key technologies in the 3D reconstruction process.

Aiming at the complexity of Adaptive Front-lighting Systems(AFS) modeling, a method of modeling AFS system by training neural network model is proposed. Through the analysis of prior knowledge and actual situation, Two typical working conditions are modeled in horizontal and vertical directions. RBF neural network is created on MATLAB to train and verify the network, and the fuzzy PID control strategy is added to AFS to optimize the performance of system. Simulation results show that the system model established by this method has a good precision, the fuzzy PID controller can greatly reduce the excessive deflection angle of headlamp, so the service life and the working accuracy of the headlamp can be improved.

Mobile phones and various electronic products contribute to the world's fastest-growing category of hazardous waste with international repercussions. We investigated the trends in potential human health impacts and ecotoxicity of waste mobile phones through quantitative life cycle impact assessment (LCIA) methods and regulatory total threshold limit concentrations. A market-dominant sample of waste basic phones and smartphones manufactured between 2001 and 2015, were analyzed for toxicity trends based on 19 chemicals. The results of the LCIA (using USEtox model) show an increase in the relative mass of toxic materials over the 15-year period. We found no significant changes in the use of toxic components in basic phones, whereas smartphones contained a statistically significant increase in the content of toxic materials from 2006 to 2015. Nickel contributed the largest risk for carcinogens in mobile phones, but the contributions of lead and beryllium were also notable. Silver, zinc and copper contents were associated with non-cancer health risks. Copper components at 45,818-77,938 PAF m3/kg dominated ecotoxicity risks in mobile phones. Overall, these results highlight the increasing importance of monitoring trends in materials use for electronic product manufacturing and electronic-waste management processes that should prevent human and environmental exposures to toxic components.

The kinetics of the thermal degradation and thermal stability of thermal conductive silicone rubber filled with Al2O3 and ZnO were investigated by thermogravimetric analysis in a flowing nitrogen atmosphere at a heating rate of 10°C/min. The rate parameters were evaluated by the method of Freeman–Carroll. The results show that the thermal degradation of silicone rubber begins at about 350°C and ends at about 600°C. The thermal degradation is multistage, in which zero-order reactions are principal. The kinetics of the thermal degradation of thermal conductive silicone rubber has relevance to its loading of thermal conductive filler. The activation energies are temperature-sensitive and their sensitivity to temperature becomes weak as temperature increases.

Phenyl silicone resin reinforced addition type liquid phenyl silicone rubber was prepared by vulcanization of vinyl end-capped polymethylphenylsiloxane (PVPS), phenyl MT resins and hydrogen end-capped polydiphenylsiloxane (PHPS) under Pt catalysis at 150°C for 4h. The effects of the proportion and the vinyl content of phenyl MT resins on the mechanical properties of cured products were investigated. The thermal stability was explored by thermogravimetric analysis. The changes of mechanical properties were also studied before and after irradiation. Phenyl silicone rubber with good performance was obtained when the phenyl MT resin content was 50~60 wt% and the vinyl content was at 5.5~6.6 wt%. The onset temperature of thermal degradation and the center temperature of thermal degradation were 443.7°C and 502°C, respectively. When the radiation dose increased from 0 to 300 KGy, the tensile strength decreased from 4.1MPa to 2.3MPa and the tearing strength decreased from 8.9MPa to 5.1MPa. When the radiation dose continues to increased from 300 to 900 KGy, the tensile strength increased from 2.3MPa to 6.4MPa and the tearing strength increased from 5.1MPa to 6.5MPa. During the process of radiation, the elongation at break had been kept down from 96% to 52%, and the hardness increased from 80A to 90A.

The internal insulation defects of gas insulated electrical equipment will cause partial discharge (PD). The accurate and effective PD detection has important significance for fault assessment. Using the fluorescent fiber as the PD sensor, the PD of the four typical defects was tested. The relationship between the UHF signal and the discharge amount at different pressures, the relationship between optical signal and the discharge amount at different size defects were corrected. The results show that under different pressures, the UHF signal energy and the discharge square can always maintain a good linear relationship. For different defects, the UHF signal energy-discharge amount increases with the gas pressure. Whether there are defects of different types or different sizes of the same type, there is a good linear relationship between the integral value of the optical signal and the discharge amount. For the free metal particle defect, it is difficult to summarize the law between the particle size and the discharge amount. When the pressure in the simulated cavity is 0.3 MPa, the correction value is compared with the measured value, the relative error of the free metal particles defect is 14.4%, and the relative error of other defects is less than 5%. Taking the smallest size defect in the experiment, the calculated value of the slope k is also compared with the measured value, and the relative error obtained is less than 10%.

We have synthesized a two-photon organic small-molecule probe (DMI), which has a considerable two-photon absorption cross section (δ) value and selectively stained endogenous RNA in the nucleolus and the cytoplasm of living cells with outstanding membrane permeability. The titrations, fluorescence imaging and RNase digest test indicate markedly higher affinity for endogenous RNA. The double assay of DMI and SYTOX Blue nucleic acid stain (S-11348) showed that the probe possesses excellent membrane permeability to living cells, and a co-staining experiment with the classic DNA-staining dye DAPI indicated that it has excellent counterstain compatibility. Moreover, DMI exhibited good photostability when continuously illuminated by constant femtosecond pulses. These results demonstrate that DMI is an attractive two-photon fluorescent probe for visualizing RNA in living cells.

Water deterioration and eutrophication caused by phosphorus (P) contamination necessitates P removal from polluted water, and has been a research focus since the second half of last century. In this study, novel mesoporous micropheres based on silicon and calcium (Ca) was prepared as an adsorbent by direct pyrolysis to enrich and remove P. The maximum adsorption capacities of the prepared adsorbents were 356.34 and 496.73 mg g−1 P−PO43− for potassium phosphate (K3PO4) and potassium dihydrogen phosphate (KH2PO4) solutions, respectively, and adsorption equilibrium was attained rapidly in less than 30 min. The Langmuir isotherm and pseudo-second-order kinetic model adequately fit the adsorption process for K3PO4 solution, while the Langmuir isotherm and pseudo-first-order kinetic appropriately fit the KH2PO4 solution. The adsorption of P was due to the reaction between Ca2+ and PO43−, forming different phosphates. Addition of interfering ions had no significant effect on the adsorption ability of the prepared adsorbents. The proposed adsorbent was successfully applied to remove P from real wastewater. Notably, this new Ca-modified mesoporous silicon micropheres is an excellent adsorbent for treating wastewater containing low P content, providing an effective approach for facile preparation of P adsorbents and exhibiting promising P removal from wastewater.

with the development of semiconductor industry, temporary bonding materials become more and more widely used in various process applications, such as wafer thinning, ultra-thin device preparation, thin wafers handing and so on. Different process applications may need different requirements for the application performance of materials. For example, the temporary bonding adhesive may be bonded with different surface of device wafer like gold layer, silicon and glass, which may also show different adhesive property. What needs to be emphasized is that the bonding wafers are easily peeling off with lower bonding strength, which may lead to low yield. And the bonding wafers with higher bonding strength may difficult to be released and cleaned. Therefore, the bonding strength of temporary bonding adhesive applied to different substrates should be considered as a crucial factor for application. There are several methods to release the wafers when de-bonding such as thermal sliding, mechanical peeling, solvent release and laser irradiation. In this paper, UV laser release systems with release layer and adhesive layer was focused. We studied several adhesive materials (both Adhesive B and Adhesive C were modified by Adhesive A) which showed different shearing strength with different substrates such as gold, silicon and glass. The shearing strength was studied by thrust force shearing force tester (DAGE 4000, USA). The chip with the size of 1mm ×1 mm was bonded on the substrates by the same pressure. The study showed that Adhesive C has higher shearing strength on different substrate. In addition, thermal stability was investigated by thermal gravimetric analyzer (TGA/DSC 2, Germany).

Urban sewage sludge is rich in a large amount of organic matter, which has a significant impact on the compression characteristics of sludge, and ultimately affects the landfill disposal and resource utilization of sludge. Quartz sand was mixed into the sewage sludge to prepare sludge samples with an organic content of 8%, 16% and 26% (raw sludge) respectively, and then a standard consolidation test was carried out to explore the influence of the organic content on the compression properties of the sludge and mechanism of action. The results show that the compressibility of urban sludge increases with the increase of organic content. The compression coefficient and index of sewage sludge both increase exponentially with the increase of organic content. The ln(1+e)∼lgp curve of urban sludge has a significant "inflection point" and a certain consolidation yield stress. With the increase of organic content, the consolidation yield stress decays exponentially. Organic matter in the sludge has a flocculent structure and a large specific surface area. It is easily adsorbed on the surface of the clay particles, hindering the cementation of the clay particles and reducing the permeability of the sludge. At the same time, organic matter has water-retaining property, hinders the consolidation and drainage of sludge, and ultimately affects the compression properties of sludge.

In order to practice bus city planning, it is of great significance to construct a reasonable urban bus service system. At present, there are various research models and methods, and a city bus service quality evaluation model is established based on the advantages and disadvantages of various methods. Analytic hierarchy process and coefficient of variation method were combined to form subjective and objective weights, and cloud model was established for comprehensive quality evaluation. The feasibility of the model is verified by the measured indexes of public transportation in Luoyang City, which proves the rationality of the evaluation method and provides reference for other cities.

On the basis of analysing and defining the industry classification of logistics information service industry, select the statistical data of logistics information service industry and three industries in China in 2017, use the grey relational analysis method to analyse the related interactive development of logistics information service industry and three industries in different provinces with different economic development levels in China, reveal the objective requirements of the development of China’s logistics information service industry.

In order to analyze the influencing factors of urban bus passenger satisfaction more scientifically, this paper constructs an improved structural equation model. The key point of this method is to extract principal components by principal component analysis before applying traditional structural equation model. Taking Luoyang as an example, summarize 21 indicators that affact passenger satisfaction. The SPSS software was used to analyze the principal component of the questionnaire data, and the passenger perceptible mass factor was reduced from 21 dimension to 4 dimension. On this basis, the structural equation model of potential factor correlation and passenger satisfaction evaluation was established for the extracted 4 principal components and 21 observable variables. Finally, the Amos software is used to verify it. Through the verification of the model, it is concluded that the line and the operational service factors have a positive impact on the degree of rapid response of the bus, the line factor has a positive impact on the operational service effect, the convenience factor has a positive impact on the operational service factor and the passenger satisfaction is undervaluation.

Non-uniform illumination makes it's difficult to detect and extract the target. To locate multiple target under complicate illumination, an improved vision system was designed in this paper. After analyzed kinds of image-binaryzation strategy, we choose the adaptive threshold binarization as the image binarization strategy. Through image processing, morphological processing, adaptive threshold binarization and contour detecting algorithm, a vision system have been designed out on the platform of Virtual Studio 2013. Experiment shows that vision system can locate multiple target efficiently under non-uniform illumination.

This paper addresses an improved water-body extraction method by the multispectral remote sensing image of four-bands. Firstly, traditional multispectral water body extraction technologies are reviewed, and their features are compared. It shows that finding the most difference of the reflection ratio of the water body and the background is the core to improve the identification rate. Furthermore, combing data's feature of GF-01 and GF-02 satellites, an improved normalization index method by introducing the weighted average of the blue and green light bands was proposed. Finally, the comparative results illustrating the improvement of water body extraction are provided and analyzed.

A stable high-repetition-rate, high pulse energy and single-frequency electro-optic Q-switched laser has been developed and demonstrated in this paper. The prelase technique has been used in this single-frequency laser. And a PID feedback control electronics is applied to stabilize the prelase. Meanwhile, a two-plate resonant reflector take the place of traditional dielectric output coupler mirror to enhance the single-axial-mode selection. And a Cr:YAG saturable absorber is also inserted in the cavity to improve single-axial-mode selection. Output laser power over 2 W with 10 ns pulse duration has been obtained at a repetition rate of 1 kHz. And the single-axial-mode probability was 100% in one hour without any manual adjustments. The experimental results show that the prelase technique is reliable to attain single-frequency operation.

Reduce, reuse, and recycle (3R) policies form the basis of waste management and global warming countermeasures globally, so we conducted a comparative study of 3R and waste management policies in the European Union (EU), USA, Korea, Japan, China, and Vietnam. An international workshop for 3R and waste management policymakers was held in Kyoto, Japan, and a bibliographic survey was also conducted to collect data. 3R policies are clearly given priority in the hierarchy of waste management in every country studied. Thermal recovery, which includes power generation from waste heat and methane gas collected from organic waste, is also a priority; this is consistent with the increased use of countermeasures to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. In the EU, waste management is characterized by practical and effective 3R policies through the development of realistic regulations and by the policymakers’ desire to simplify management systems. The policy ideal in China, however, is the development of a circular economy that targets reductions in the amount and hazardousness of waste. Limits on the number of final disposal sites, strategies for procuring resources, and GHG emission countermeasures are closely linked with 3R policies, and further development of 3R policies in parallel with such issues is expected.

In vitro transfection of cultured cells combined with nuclear transfer currently is the most effective procedure to produce transgenic livestock. In the present study, bovine primary fetal fibroblasts were transfected with a green fluorescent protein (GFP) reporter transgene and used as nuclear donor cells in oocyte reconstructions. To examine the role of host cytoplasm on transgene expression and developmental outcome, GFP-expressing fibroblasts were fused to oocytes reconstructed either metaphase or telophase activation, and PCR technology was also employed. The results showed that GFP became detectable at the 8- to 16-cell stage, approximately 80 h after reconstruction, and remained positive at all later stages. Embryonic development to the blastocyst stage was not significantly different among metaphase and telophase groups. Therefore, GFP transgene technology can be used to select embryoes derived from transgenic animals.

The track periodical irregularity is the main external excitation source for the maglev train suspension system. This kind of excitation degrades the stability of the levitation control and decreases the ride comfort. In order to improve the performance of the suspension system, it is necessary to discuss the outputs of the levitation module excited by track periodical irregularities. To explore this problem, a levitation module model contains two suspension units is derived firstly. This model can represent the coupling condition of the suspension units in the levitation module. And then, for further research, based on the levitation module model, a PD controller is designed to keep the levitation module stable. Secondly, by taking the track periodical irregularity as the disturbance input, the outputs characteristic difference of the two units in a levitation module are investigated and several conclusions are obtained. The conclusions provide several advices for the suspension controller design in the next stage. At last, field experiments are carried out and the results illustrating the correctness of conclusions are provided and analyzed.

Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) are required to be controlled by the Stockholm Convention due to their significant potential impacts to the environment and human health. Parties to the Stockholm Convention are obliged to prohibit the production of PCBs totally, eliminate equipment and oils containing PCBs from use by 2025 and bring these under environmentally sound waste management by 2028. Pollution to the environment and harm to the human health from PCBs in developing countries is serious in Asia-Pacific Region. This paper first summarizes the information of basic national status of PCBs in countries through analysis of submitted National Implementation Plans (NIPs), including production, import, inventory, disposal of PCBs. Then investigate and assesses the progress of PCBs management and elimination in Asia-Pacific countries on the base of PCBs projects developed by Asia-Pacific countries. Based on the obstacles and challenges analysis, the paper finally makes some suggestions on PCBs management and elimination at the regional level, including cooperation among regional countries, information exchange and experiences share, and.
