The power electronics industry is now facing the higher power density design challenge to keep size shrunken but still meet the strict requirement for electromagnetic compatibility regulation. In this study, we investigated the conducted emission from a high-efficiency and compact size ac-dc switching power adaptor with flyback converter topology, and analyzed the root cause of EMI problem to further apply mitigation techniques for achieving regulation compliance. We first performed conduction emission test to obtain the emission profile for later result comparison and validation, and then utilized the ANSYS Simplorer and Q3D simulation tools to establish the analysis model for the fly-back switching power adaptor. After the simulation of the power module model being validated for effectiveness, we finally implemented the filtering scheme and PCB layout modification to effectively reduce the conducted noise and meet the product standard requirement.

The micro-grid power system is a world-wide trend for green energy demanding as part of smart-grid, and the most popular solar-cell inverter is possible suffering the surge transient disturbance from connected power system. This study investigates the electromagnetic model establishment for surge transient immunity protection analysis with ANSYS simulation tool. We first verify the simulated output of surge generator meets the waveform requirement for IEC61 000-4-5, and then investigate the possible scheme for circuit protection with proper TVS devices and placement location. We also try to investigate the possible intruding surge monitoring mechanism by analyzing the spectrum characteristics via coupling device for power system alarm implementation.

Marketing principles not only attract consumers but also recruit talented people. This study applies person-organization fit to examine the relationship between an organization's corporate image and a job seeker's intention-to-apply. This study further explores how recruitment messages affect the relationship between corporate image and person-organization fit. The study focuses on human resources management positions and uses the information of real job openings from 28 companies as the research data. The research follows a formal encoding procedure for the recruitment messages and job advertisements as well as the completion of a survey; this study yields 1568 observation samples for analysis. The results from hierarchical linear modeling and the fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis show that (1) corporate image relates positively to both intention-to-apply and person-organization fit, (2) person-organization fit fully mediates the relationship between corporate image and intention-to-apply, and (3) comprehensive recruitment messages strengthen the positive relationship between corporate image and person-organization fit.

It is well known that mutual coupling effect and problems exist between transmitting and receiving antennas. One factor is the coupling effect between antennas and masts. It can be more than 1 dB for omni-directional antennas with vertical polarization. This effect can be improved by utilizing the average method of changing distance between antennas and antenna mast. According to the reference site method (RSM) proposed in the CISPR 16-1-4-2012, a comparison test is made between the Bureau of Standards, Metrology & Inspection (BSMI), Taiwan and the National Institute of Metrology (NIM), China. The RSM and geometrical specific correction factor from the Annex G & H of ANSI C 63.5-2006 was also introduced into this comparison. It shows that the average method can improve the effect of mutual coupling between antennas and masts to 0.5 dB. This case study will discuss the theory of the average method and the measured result. The result will help to improve the measurement uncertainty for the validation of semi-anechoic chambers.

According to CISPR 16-1 & ANSI C 63.4 standard requirements, to implement EMI radiated emission measurement needs to use accuracy antenna factor (AF). The Standard Site Method(SSM) of antenna calibration is most popular technology in the EMI sector. In Taiwan, the SSM calibration technology is also to set up in BSMI WUDA Antenna Site to calibrate broadband antennas (30MHz to 1GHz). This paper will simply describe the theme of antenna calibration, introduce the structure of this calibration site and describe the measures used to control its calibration uncertainty below 1 dB.

Dynamic capabilities can appropriately explain why the enterprises can respond to the rapidly changing environment. This paper is an empirical study exploring the effects of R&D department's dynamic capabilities on innovative performance in Taiwan and South Korea. We argue that R&D department's dynamic capabilities will have positive effects on innovative performance. Hypotheses were tested using regression analysis. Results showed that this research has a good reliability and validity. Results also showed that combinative capabilities, absorptive capacity, and flexibility have positive effects on innovative performance. However, there might have other moderator existed to affect the relationship between combinative capabilities and innovative performance.

This paper is an empirical study exploring the effects of intellectual capital and Dynamic Capabilities (DC) on Innovative Performance (IP) of organisations. Data were collected from a survey of 100 Taiwan companies related to the electronic and Information Technology (IT) industries. Hypotheses were tested using hierarchical regression analysis. Results show that Structural Capital (SC) and Relationship Capital (RC) fully mediate the effects of Human Capital (HC) on IP. Moreover, DC have a direct effect on IP. Dynamic capabilities, on the other hand, enhance the positive effect of RC on IP. The implication of the study is that managers should build and cultivate the firm's dynamic capabilities, because of its significant main and moderating effects.
