Metastasis is still one of the main obstacles in the treatment of breast cancer. This study aimed to develop disulfiram (DSF) and doxorubicin (DOX) co-loaded nanoparticles (DSF-DOX NPs) with enzyme/pH dual stimuli-responsive characteristics to inhibit breast cancer metastasis. DSF-DOX NPs were prepared using the amphiphilic poly(ε-caprolactone)-b-poly(L-glutamic acid)-g-methoxy poly(ethylene glycol) (PCL-b-PGlu-g-mPEG) copolymer by a classical dialysis method. In vitro release tests, in vitro cytotoxicity assay, and anti-metastasis studies were conducted to evaluate pH/enzyme sensitivity and therapeutic effect of DSF-DOX NPs. The specific pH and enzyme stimuli-responsiveness of DSF-DO NPs can be attributed to the transformation of secondary structure and the degradation of amide bonds in the PGlu segment, respectively. This accelerated drug release significantly increased the cytotoxicity to 4T1 cells. Compared with the control group, the DSF-DOX NPs showed a strong inhibition of in vitro metastasis with a wound healing rate of 36.50% and a migration rate of 18.39%. Impressively, in vivo anti-metastasis results indicated that the metastasis of 4T1 cells was almost completely suppressed by DSF-DOX NPs. DSF-DOX NPs with controllable tumor site delivery of DOX and DSF were a prospectively potential strategy for metastatic breast cancer treatment.

Laser welding-brazing technique was used for lap joining of Q235 steel to AA5052 aluminum alloy using a flux-cored Zn-22Al filler wire. The influence of heat input on microstructure, joint strength and bending property of laser Al/steel joints was investigated. The results showed that the types of interfacial intermetallic compounds (IMCs) were kept unchanged with the different laser powers, i.e., Fe2Al5-xZnx phase and FeZn10; while the thickness and morphology of IMC layer changed significantly. This was mainly ascribed to the large increase of the interfacial temperature with the rising laser power, which led to an intensified diffusion reaction. The fracture load first increased and then reached a plateau with the increasing laser power. However, the laser power had very limited influence on the joint bending property because of the formation of dispersed tough FeZn10. Numerical simulation indicated that the interfacial temperature along the interfacial region varied, decreasing from the weld root to weld toe. The peak temperature increased by 700 ℃ and liquid–solid reaction time increased 3.41 s with the increased laser power, which was responsible for the change of IMCs layer.

In connection with wind sensitivity for the towering and hollowed-out structures (drilling derrick, crane, etc) of large offshore oil platform, the wind-induced response of towering structure was studied. By the similarity criteria, high frequency force balance tests for the large offshore oil platform under 0–360° wind directions were carried out, and the spatial distribution model of fluctuating wind load acting on platform was presented. Also, the characteristics of wind-induced vibration and the changing rule of gust loading factors were obtained precisely through wind-induced assessment in all directions. The results show that: the RMS (Root Mean Square) of the fluctuating across-wind load is about 10% of the fluctuating along-wind load on the platform; the vibration is mainly focused on the towering and hollowed-out structure like derrick, and the RMS of the across-wind acceleration is about 55% of the along-wind acceleration; the towering derrick has a big dynamic magnification of fluctuating across-wind load. The across-wind load can not be neglected in wind resistance design of large offshore oil platform, also the wind-induced response on the top/bottom of derrick and the magnification of fluctuating across-wind load of towering structure should be mainly considered. The hydroforming process of the 316L SS/Al clad T-branch was investigated through numerical simulation and experiments. The effects of bonding strength, internal pressure, lubrication condition, and the feed distance on the protrusion height and the maximum thinning rate were investigated by the FE method. Furthermore, the 316L SS/Al clad T-branch was fabricated by the hydroforming process and the micro-interface of the local position of the hydroformed parts was analyzed by using SEM method. The results indicated that the qualified clad T-branch could be obtained by using the appropriate hydroforming process.

The seismic investigation achievements from three kinds of methods have revealed the lithospheric structure and the deep process of deformation caused by collision. It is found that convergent collision and deep subduction of the continental lithosphere are in progress along the northern margin of the Tibetan Plateau. The deep process of due collision and deformation is different from that of oblique collision. It is revealed in the study that the deep process of the collision and deformation on the northern margin is different from that on the southern margin of the Tibetan Plateau.

12±,13-Dihydroxyolean-3-oxo-28-oic acid (1), a new pentacyclic triterpene, was isolated from Schefflera venulosa (Wight et Arn.) Harms through a bioassay-guided fractionation procedure, together with the known oleanonic acid (2) as a new cell cycle inhibitor. Structures were established by spectroscopy. Compound 2 inhibited the proliferation of K562 cells with the IC50 value of 0.13 µmol/mL by the SRB method and inhibited the cell cycle of tsFT210 cells at the G0/G1 phase at the concentration higher than 10 µg/mL.

This paper deals with a sensitive ports study on typical silicon transistors caused by human body model (HBM) electrostatic discharge (ESD). It is shown that the most sensitive port is not always the EB junctions, as most scholars have stated.

The design and measurement of a snap-shot mode cryogenic readout circuit (ROIC) for GaAs/AlGaAs QWIP FPAs was reported. CTIA input circuits with pixel level built-in electronic injection transistors were proposed to test the chip before assembly with a detector array. Design optimization techniques for cryogenic and low power are analyzed. An experimental ROIC chip of a 128 × 128 array was fabricated in 0.35 μm CMOS technology. Measurements showed that the ROIC could operate at 77 K with low power dissipation of 35 mW. The chip has a pixel charge capacity of 2.57 × 106 electrons and transimpedance of 1.4 × 107 Ω. Measurements showed that the transimpedance non-uniformity was less than 5% with a 10 MHz readout speed and a 3.3 V supply voltage.

To study the bioactive metabolites produced by sponge-derived uncultured symbionts, a metagenomic DNA library of the symbionts of spongeGelliodes gracilis was constructed. The average size of DNA inserts in the library was 20 kb. This library was screened for antibiotic activity using paper dise assaying. Two clones displayed the antibacterial activity againstMicrococcus tetragenus. The metabolites of these two clones were analyzed through HPLC. The result showed that their metabolites were quite different from those of the hostE. coli DH5α and the host containing vector pHZ132. This study may present a new approach to exploring bioactive metabolites of sponge symbionts.
