Bus priority signal control can reduce bus delay at intersections and improve bus operation efficiency. The existing research focus mainly on bus priority control methods at isolated intersections, as well as urban arterial corridors. Rarely existing works consider a network-level bus priority control. Treating regional-wide intersections can be challenging, given that more traffic directions and large multi-modal traffic volume should be considered. The conventional transit signal priority (TSP) research focus on the delay of buses and social vehicles and neglect the delay of pedestrians. To fill these gaps, this paper proposes a regional coordinated bus priority signal control (RCBPSC) method, which is a network-level bus priority control method considering pedestrian and passenger delays. This method is divided into two stages. The first stage is the regional coordinated signal control to obtain the basic signal timing schemes. The second stage is the bus priority signal control. At this stage, the timing schemes at each intersection will be adjusted according to the bus arrival time and the delays. In order to verify the effectiveness of this method, we choose four intersections in Chengdu to study. The results show that the total delay of the proposed method at the first stage (control case 1) can be reduced by 602s (2.3%) and 606s (3.7%) comparing with the conventional timing method in the peak and non-peak period. At the second stage, the proposed method can reduce more pedestrian delay than the conventional TSP method in both scenario 1 and scenario 2.

To provide detail data for Campylobacter jejuni (C.jejuni) vaccine research, this study performed epitope prediction analysis technology to screen the B cell immunodominant epitopes of C. jejuni adhesion protein PEB1 and evaluated the immunoprotective effect. The overlapping peptides were synthesized and B-cell immunodominant epitopes of PEB1 were identified by ELISA. BALB/c mice were immunized with the immunodominant epitopes of PEB1 conjugated with KLH plus CFA/IFA. The titers for immunodominant peptide antiserum against PEB1 were detected by ELISA. The bacterial colonization and the relative expression level of TNF-α were analyzed after the mice challenged with C. jejuni 11,168. The function of antibody induced by immunodominant PEB1 epitopes were performed by opsonophagocytic killing. The results showed that PEB155-72aa, PEB197-114aa, PEB1211-228aa were the immunodominant peptides and could induce strong B cell mediated humoral immunity response. In karst area, the quality of punching pile-forming is generally not high, and pile defects is a problem. In order to evaluate the punching pile-forming quality better, this paper introduces the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation theory. This paper constructs the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model of karst area, and divides the inspection and evaluation indexes of punching pile into two levels, the expert scoring method is adopted to determine the evaluation weight at all levels; The comprehensive fuzzy operator of multiplication before addition is adopted because it has obvious weight function and comprehensive degree; The principle of maximum membership is used to determine the quality level of pile foundation detection. The model is applied to an engineering case, and the evaluation effect is good.

Determining the bus departure headway is an important part of bus operation. In order to meet different demands of passenger flow in different time periods, the bus departure headway is required to be differentiated; and to cope with the impact of road congestion on the punctuality of the bus and the passenger ride experience, the bus departure headway is also required to have flexibility. The existing methods for determining the bus departure headway are mostly limited to the satisfaction of passenger flow demand, and the influence of road congestion is often ignored. Both types of factors have strong time-course characteristics, but their time-based divisions are often ambiguous, and there is a certain period of time between the two factors. To this end, a bus operation time division method considering the two types of factors is proposed. By extracting the statistical characteristics of passenger flow and road congestion during the whole bus operation period, the comprehensive similarity coefficient is designed, and the fuzzy clustering is performed for the whole operation period. By recognizing the characteristic boundaries of the fuzzy categories, the whole operation period is divided into different fuzzy time categories, and different bus departure headways are set in different time categories to improve the adaptability of the time and the service quality of the public transportation. Finally, the method is analyzed and verified by a simulation of the operation data of a line in Leshan, Sichuan, which proves great effects on the service level of the bus system.

Aiming at the phenomenon that high-viscosity multi-component adhesives are difficult to control due to viscosity changes, a mechanism using piston to dispense is designed. By analyzing the flow properties of multi-component adhesives, a consistency coefficient related to the mixing time of each component of the glue is introduced to the shear stress of the colloidal by its physical meaning, so the viscosity changes could be characterized during the dispensing process. The model of the dispensing system was established by the viscous fluid mechanics and the estimation function of the flow rate out of needle was given. According to the experimental verification of the specific adhesive, the dispensing system designed in this paper can directly control the amount of dispensing by adjusting the motor pulse frequency and the dispensing time. In the case, the simulation results are basically consistent with the experimental results, and the flow error can be kept within 10−9m3/s to realize the quantitative dispensing of the high-viscosity multi-component adhesive.

The Quaternary activity of the faults at the eastern end of the Altyn Tagh fault, including the Dengdengshan-Chijiaciwo, Kuantanshan and Heishan faults, was studied on the basis of interpretation of satellite images, trenching, geomorphologic offset measurements and dating. The Altyn Tagh fault has extended eastwards to Kuantanshan Mountain. The left-slip rates of the Altyn Tagh fault decreased through the Qilianshan fault and were transformed into thrust and folds deformation of many NW- trending faults within the Jiuxi basin. Meanwhile, under NE-directed compression of the Tibetan plateau, thrust dominated the Dengdengshan-Chijiaciwo fault northeast of the Kuantanshan uplift with a rate lower than that of every fault in the Jiuxi basin south of the uplift, implying that tectonic deformation is mainly confined to the plateau interior and the Hexi Corridor area. From continual northeastward enlargement of the Altyn Tagh fault, the Kuantanshan uplift became a triangular wedge intruding to the east, while the Kuantanshan area at the end of this wedge rose up strongly. In future, the Altyn Tagh fault will continue to spread eastward along the Heishan and Jintananshan faults. The results have implications for understanding the propagation of crustal deformation and the mechanism of the India-Eurasian collision.

To alleviate the traffic imbalance between supply and demand for over-saturated complex intersections, based on disconnected traffic flow characteristics between urban roads, this article aims at the focus of conflict between supply and demand - supersaturated vehicle columns in sections connecting to crossroads, analyzing complex intersections traffic capacity impairment mechanism arising out of "backflow", summing up fluctuation pattern for complex intersections travel delay caused by the above traffic capacity impairment, so as to point out a specified direction for traffic control approaches in respect to the intersection.

Osteoporosis is a systemic bone metabolic disease that is highly prevalent in the elderly population, particularly in postmenopausal women, which results in enhanced bone fragility and an increased susceptibility to fractures. However, the underlying molecular pathogenesis mechanisms still remain to be further elucidated. In this study, in a rat ovariectomy- (OVX-) induced postmenopausal osteoporosis model, aberrant expression of a microRNA miR-142-5p and vascular cell adhesion molecule 1 (VCAM-1) was found by RNA sequencing analysis and qRT-PCR. Using a dual-luciferase reporter assay, we found that miR-142-5p can bind to and decrease expression of VCAM-1 mRNA. Such reduction was prohibited when the miR-142-5p binding site in VCAM-1 3'UTR was deleted, and Western blotting analyses validated the fact that miR-142-5p inhibited the expression ofVCAM-1 protein. Bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (BMMSCs) transfected with miR-142-5p showed a significantly decreased migration ability in a Transwell migration assay. Collectively, these data indicated the important role of miR-142-5p in osteoporosis development involving targeting VCAM-1 and inhibiting BMMSC migration. Refereed/Peer-reviewed
