The main structure of Xi ’an Silk Road International Conference Centre is a giant steel braced frame structure. The façade of the structure is made up of huge suspended skirtlike suspended structure supported by cantilever roof trusses and steel suspensions, which adds up its complexity. In order to accurately control the installation precision and facilitate the installation of curtain wall glass in the later stage, the pre-chamber construction method is adopted in the roof truss installation to compensate the construction deformation of suspended structure. The static analysis is conducted by SAP2000 to propose a reasonable pre-camber value of the roof cantilever truss. The nonlinear simulation of the construction process is carried out. Through comparative analysis, the optimal sequence of the steel structure construction is obtained, which provides the theoretical basis for the construction of giant and complex steel structures.

Rice blast is one of the most serious diseases of cultivated rice. We characterize here the nucleotide variation present at nine blast resistance (R) genes within a collection of 13 indica and 13 japonica rice cultivars, along with 12 accessions of wild rice (Oryza rufipogon). Compared with other functional genes, high genetic diversity has been observed in blast R genes (mean nucleotide diversity of 3.2%), which might be the most important characteristics of blast R genes. Even if the overall diversity in R genes is high, the genes can also be divided into three types according to different degrees of conservation by principal component analysis: relative conservation (Pita, Pit, Pi5-1, and Pid-2), intermediate diversity (Pi37, Pib, and Pi9), and high diversity (Pi36 and Pikm-2), suggesting that these types of R genes might recognize different categories of molecules released by rice blast pathogens. We generated complete mitochondrial genome sequences data for 4 genera (Onchidium, Platevindex, Paraoncidium and Peronia) in Onchidiidae to construct a phylogenetic tree in conjunction with other 9 existing data among gastropods. The topology showed that the taxa clustered into two main groups of four species, one of which included Onchidium struma and the Platevindex mortoni, the other Paraoncidium reevesii and Peronia verruculata. The process in Pulmonata from sea to land in accordance with the evolution of respiratory organs from branchial gills to pulmonary cavity has been shown. This will also constitute a framework for phylogeny evolution analysis, systematic classfication of Onchidiidae and other euthyneurans (pulmonates and opisthobranchs).

This article deeply researched into the existent five problems and four main “bottlenecks” in the high-technologization of marine industry in China on the basis of analyzing the new trends in international marine problems and the necessity of implementing the strategy of developing China based on marine. This article brought up specific measures to the five “bottlenecks” according to the situations, and pointed out that new marine industry should be high-technologization and the traditional marine industry should be reformed by high-technique. The research results may provide the scientific basis for realizing the high-technologization of marine industry in China.

The complete mitochondrial genome of Paraoncidium reevesii was firstly determined in this paper. The mitogenome (13,842 bp) consists of 13 protein-coding genes, 22 tRNA genes, 2 ribosomal RNA genes, and 1 putative control region (CR). CR is not well characterized due to lack of discrete conserved sequence blocks. This characteristic is similar with CRs of other invertebrate mitochondrial genomes.

Objective The aim of the study was to investigate the effect of c-Jun N-terminal protein kinase (JNK) signaling pathway on influencing the sensitivity to radiotherapy of human nasopharyngeal carcinoma CNE cells.

As a nutritious mollusk living in the intertidal zone, Onchidiidae has a significant value for biological research. Nine populations were collected from the costal areas such as Chongming (Shanghai), Ningde (Fujian), Haikou (Hainan) in this study. Through the study of anatomy and other methods to investigate the major category characteristics, the nine populations were preliminary classified. By sequencing segments of 18S rRNA gene and constructing phylogenetic trees using these nine populations and four other 18S rRNA gene sequences from GenBank, with Siphonaria as an outgroup, we analyzed the phylogeny of Onchidiidae in mainland China. The trees were used for discussing the relationship between the populations of the Onchidiidae in this study. The results showed that the southern coast has more populations than the northern coast in China. Besides two known species, Onchidium struma (JZH) and O. verruculatum (FJZHNZ), five new recorded species may exist: Onchidium(1), Platevindex(2), one Peronia(1) and Paraoncidium(1). The phylogenetic trees indicated that the nine populations can be divided into four subgroups, Peronia, Onchidium, Platevindex and Paraoncidium, and Peronia has the highest confidence level in clustering. Onchidium verruculatum (FJZHNZ) should be Peronia verruculata.

One form of energy generation that is expected to be on the rise in the next several decades is thermoelectric power generation (TEPG) which converts heat directly to electricity. Compared with other methods, TEPG possesses the salient features of being compact, light-weighted, noiseless in operation, highly reliable, free of carbon dioxide emission and radioactive substances. Low current conversion efficiency and high cost, however, are some of the disadvantages. Use of TEPG is therefore justified to hightech applications associated with aerospace, military operation, tel-communication and navigation, instrumentation of unmanned vehicles monitored from remote locations. Moreover, TEPG does not contribute to the depletion of natural resource and pollution of the environment such as climate warming that has been a concern in recent times. This work is concerned with providing an overview of the state of the art of TEPG with emphases placed on assessing its current and potential application. Pointed out are the ways to fabricate high performance thermoelectric material, a hurdle to overcome for the enhancement of TEPG device efficiency.
