Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a chronic skin disease that may be triggered by psychological conditions and several allergens. Patients with AD may be experienced disease exacerbation due to the COVID-19 pandemic lifestyle including home-quarantine and increased stress. We obtained the electronic data of 100 AD patients admitted to our hospital from 2016 to 2019 and called them with specific phone line.Out of 100 patients, 43 were male, and 57 were female (mean age±SD: 45.85±16.90). Background With the normalization process during the COVID-19 pandemic, senior nursing students who receive applied nursing courses in Turkey shifted to face-to-face education. Clinical practices during the pandemic caused nursing students to experience fear and anxiety. Purpose This study examines senior nursing students' fear and anxiety levels regarding clinical practices during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods The researchers of this descriptive and cross-sectional study tried to reach the entire population, and the study was completed with 124 students who agreed to participate in the study. The data were collected using a 12-question personal information form, the 21-question Beck Anxiety Inventory, and the 7-question Fear of COVID-19 Scale on Google Forms. Results The participants' mean Fear of COVID-19 Scale score was 20.00 ± 7.71 (medium level). Their mean Beck Anxiety Inventory score was 14.23 ± 15.44 (mild anxiety). A positive relationship was found between fear of COVID-19 and anxiety. Conclusions The nursing students had a mild level of anxiety and a moderate level of fear of COVID-19 during their clinical practices.

Pregnancy is an important period of women’s life. It is not only a period of great joy, but also one of great stress to a woman both physically and mentally. There are hormonal, physical as well as psychological changes. The Anxiety and depressive symptoms are common during pregnancy. Up to one-third of women may experience anxiety symptoms during pregnancy. Pregnant women worry about the upcoming labor and anticipated pain, also referred to as fear of childbirth or they may be concerned about the health of the child they are carrying or the physical changes they experience. Objective: To find out the Prevalence of Pregnancy related anxiety in pregnant women by using Pregnancy Related Anxiety questionnaire (PRAQ-R2). Design: An observational study was conducted among 70 low-risk Indian pregnant women of age 20–35 years. Setting: A public health care hospital in southern fringes of Pune, India. Participants: 70 low risk pregnant women who attended the hospital were selected as convenient sample. Methods: Participants were recruited as per the selection criteria Pregnancy-Related Anxiety Questionnaire–Revised were used to collect the data. Results: 78.57% pregnant women had Pregnancy related Anxiety. 33 %pregnant women had mild Anxiety while 32 % women had moderate and 5% were suffering from severe Anxiety. Considering the component of anxiety 74.3% women had fear of giving birth, 77.1 % worries about bearing a handicap child, 74.3% women were concern about own appearance. Conclusion: During the joyful phase of pregnancy there is higher prevalence of pregnancy related anxiety. Key words: Pregnancy, Pregnancy Related Anxiety Questionnaire (PRAQ-R2).

Background: HIV/AIDS is one of the worst pandemics, in addition to the physical impact psikososial that make fear. Increased anxiety can affect the quality of life in ODHA. Objectif : The research aims is to understand the anxiety in the quality of life of patients odha in peer support groups JCC+. Methods : This research using analytic observational with the approach of cross sectional. Respondents were 40 taken with purposive approach based on techniques of sampling from 367 responden that include in the criteria and ekslusi who join the KDS JCC. Quality of life ODHA assessed using a questioner WHOQOLHIV BREF, anxiety levels measured by the questionnaire zung self-rating anxiety scale ( ZSAS). Data analysis using spearman test to test relation between levels of anxiety with Qol with the level of significance 5 %.. Results: The results of research related to the quality of life based on 6 ODHA, domain to have enough physical domain category of 52,5 %, psychological domain have good category of 75 %, the domain independence have quite as much as 70 %, category domain have enough social category of 52,5 %, the domain ward having good category of 52,5 % religious and spiritual domain / having good category of 70 %. The anxiety on the majority of 85 odha % is categorized as a mild anxiety .There is a significant relation exists between the level of anxiety with a domain ODHA quality of life. December 2019, COVID-19 was first reported in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a worldwide pandemic. The COVID-19 pandemic has focused attention on the mental health of the various affected populations, medical students being one of the more vulnerable groups. Therefore, this literature review aims to find out how the mental health of Faculty of Medicine students during the COVID-19 pandemic, so that it can be used as learning material to always maintain mental health stability. The method used in this study is a literature review and literature search which was carried out by collecting several electronic journals such as PubMed, NCBI and Google Scholar. Conducted by reviewing journals related to the mental health of medical faculty students during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study involved 49 library sources from 2018-2020. From 7,143 students, 0.9% of them experienced severe anxiety, 2.7% moderate, and 21.3% experienced mild anxiety. In addition, delay in academic activities is a risk factor for experiencing symptoms of anxiety. 40% of students also experience financial difficulties, in terms of e-learning platforms, this problem is a challenge for medical students because financial and social factors can be an obstacle to the development and implementation of effective online learning programs. Future research is urgently needed to provide a better explanation of the tips needed for students in adapting to the changes that occur in order to lead a mentally healthy life in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Data were collected from July 11, 2020, to July 16, 2020. A bilingual (Dari and English) questionnaire was used for data collection. The first section of the questionnaire collected sociodemographic information of the respondents and the second comprised a self-report standardized scale, i.e. Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7) to assess symptoms of anxiety. The survey form was distributed through online platforms. All residents of Kabul who used social apps such as WhatsApp and Facebook were eligible to participate in the study and participation was voluntary and non-commercial.Results: Altogether 1135 complete responses were received. The majority of them were males and aged 18– 34 years. Almost 18% were healthcare workers. Overall, 28.2% of the respondents reported symptoms of moderate to severe anxiety, 38.8% reported symptoms of mild anxiety, and nearly one third of the respondents reported no symptoms. Female participants reported significantly higher levels of anxiety compared with males (39.7% versus 25.6%; p = 0.0001). No significant association was noted between anxiety levels and age groups, occupations, and healthcare workers versus non-healthcare workers.Conclusion: The findings suggest that a gender-specific psychosocial protocol needs be integrated into the public health emergency plans to fight against the current pandemic.Keywords: anxiety, mental health, capital of Afghanistan, Kabul, COVID-19 pandemic

Objectives: To determine anxiety during the pandemic in the elderly of a disadvantaged population of San Juan de Lurigancho. Materials and methods: This study with the methodological approach of this study was of a descriptive-cross-sectional design. The population consisted of 84 elderly people who were cared for from a disadvantaged population. The technique used was the survey and the measurement instrument was the Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale (GAD-7), which is made up of 7 items and two dimensions, which are: cognitive-emotional and somatic-tension. Results: According to age, the minimum was 55 and the maximum 96, the mean age being 72.65. Regarding anxiety, moderate anxiety predominates with 39.3% (n = 33), followed by level anxiety in 32.1% (n = 27), without anxiety with 17.9% (n = 15) and severe anxiety in 10.7% (n = 9). In relation to the cognitive-emotional dimension, mild and moderate anxiety had a higher prevalence with 36.9% (n = 31), followed by no anxiety in 16.7% (n = 14) and severe anxiety with 9.5% (n = 8). Regarding the somatic-tension dimension, mild anxiety predominated in 35.7% (n = 30), followed by moderate anxiety with 33.3% (n = 28), without anxiety in 22.6% (n = 19) and severe anxiety with 8.3% (n = 7). Conclusions: Regarding anxiety, moderate anxiety predominated, followed by mild anxiety, without anxiety and severe anxiety. Regarding the dimensions, mild anxiety predominated, followed by moderate, without anxiety and severe.

The objective of the study was to evaluate, through an online questionnaire, aspects related to levels of anxiety, suicidal thoughts and quality of sleep during the COVID-19 pandemic period in three countries. With 988 participants from Colombia, Brazil and Portugal. 2.1% of the subjects presented mild anxiety, 85.5% moderate levels, 12% ranged from moderate to severe and 0.3% had an extreme level of anxiety. Health education regarding pregnant women's anxiety will provide more understanding to pregnant women as well as prevent stress. The phenomenon of the problem at Bonto Bangun Puskesmas is that health education is carried out in the class of pregnant women, but not all pregnant women participate in the program. The aim of the study was to determine the effect of physiological change education in pregnant women on the anxiety level of pregnant women at Bonto Bangun Community Health Center. This study used a pre-experimental design by means of a One-shot case study. The number of samples is 5 people, sampling technique with purposive sampling. The research was conducted at the Bontobangun Community Health Center in August 2020. The results showed that the level of anxiety of pregnant women before education was the highest moderate anxiety compared to no anxiety, mild and severe anxiety. Meanwhile, the level of anxiety of pregnant women after being given education decreased, namely mild anxiety was higher than moderate anxiety and there was no anxiety. Anxiety is recognized as a potential risk factor for false-positive result derived from radiological image. This study investigated patients’ anxiety levels on exposure to computer tomography and experience of claustrophobia. The study adopts a correlation research design. A total of 96 patients made-up of 49 males (50%) and 47 females (48%) subjects undergoing CT scan examination at the Radiology Department of Benue State University Teaching Hospital, Makurdi was recruited for this study. Participants responded to STAI (Form-1) a Nigerian re-standardized version and Radomsky’s Claustrophobia questionnaire. Objetivo: Determinar la prevalencia de síntomas de depresión, ansiedad e ideación suicida en estudiantes de medicina de primer a sexto año del Centro Universitario Metropolitano (CUM) de la USAC y áreas de practica en Hospital Roosevelt, Hospital San Juan de Dios, IGSS y clínicas familiares en agosto de 2019. Material y métodos: Estudio descriptivo transversal realizado en 2,503 estudiantes elegidos con muestreo aleatorio simple por año académico, se utilizó el Inventario de ansiedad de Beck y el Cuestionario sobre la salud del paciente-9 para la recolección de datos. Se aplicó un análisis estadístico univariado y contó con el aval del Comité de Bioética en Investigación en Salud de la Facultad de Ciencias Médicas. Resultados: El 49.78% (1,246) presentó síntomas de depresión, 75.23% (1883), ansiedad y 23.97% (600), ideación suicida. El 34.67% (868) tuvo síntomas de ansiedad leve y 24.89% (623), de depresión moderada. La media de edad fue 21.28 años y DE ± 4.96 con predominio del sexo femenino 55.69% (1397), religión católica 54.17% (1356), residentes del departamento de Guatemala 70.40% (1762), de la categoría estudiantil A 34.96% (875) y cursa el segundo año académico 26.25% (657). Conclusiones: De cada diez estudiantes cinco presentan síntomas de depresión y siete síntomas de ansiedad, de los cuales la mayoría se clasifica como moderado y leve, respectivamente; dos de cada diez estudiantes de medicina presentan ideación suicida. La muestra de estudiantes está comprendida entre 18 a 22 años, sexo femenino, católicos, viven en el departamento de Guatemala y son categoría estudiantil A.

This research uses Descriptive with Cross Sectional approach. This study was conducted in January 2020. Population and Sample in this study were 22 respondents Primigravida in BPM Ny. Ani., sub District Baron, District of Nganjuk. Data analysis using quantitative approach. The results of the research show the characteristics of gestational age from 13 to 28 weeks as many as 13 respondents (59%) and the characteristics of the gestational age 29-40 weeks as much as 9 respondents (41%). After analysis with a quantitative approach using the percentage obtained results of the 22 respondents (100%) primigravida with mild anxiety

The objective of the study is to determine the relationship of therapeutic nurse communications with regard to patients' preoperative anxiety levels about their surgical treatment in one hospital in Indonesia. The method used is descriptive correlative with a cross-sectional approach and non-probability sampling method with a quota sampling technique. The total sample of 84 people were preoperative patients for surgical treatment at the Tangerang General Hospital. Data were analyzed univariate and bivariate using the chi-square test. Results show that from 84 patients preoperatively, 50 (59.5%) had mild anxiety, and 43 (51.2%) stated that the therapeutic communication nurse in both categories. There is a relationship between therapeutic communication nurses and patient anxiety with p-value .000

Introduction: Fear and anxiety during pregnancy and childbirth can cause problems such as preterm labor and low birth weight. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the level of anxiety of third-trimester pregnant women in dealing with labor. Methods: This type of research is a descriptive study and analyzed with frequency distribution. The population was all pregnant women in the third trimester who were in the working area of ​​the Mapane Community Health Center with a total of 37 people. The sampling technique used total sampling. The results showed that only 8.1% of pregnant women experienced mild anxiety, while 91.9% did not experience anxiety. pregnant women who experience mild anxiety are 20% in the risk age group, 20% with diploma education, 11.5% in mothers who do not work, 60% in primigravidas, and 15.8% in mothers who do not get support from their husbands. Anxiety occurs mostly in primigravida because it is the first experience of pregnancy. It suggested for village midwives providing information about pregnancy and childbirth, especially for primigravida mothers, and involving their husbands in posyandu activities for pregnant women.

Several trials showed possible anti-anxiety effects of BBs. Our primary goal is to investigate the prevalence of anxiety disorder and the use of BBs as anxiolytic without medical prescription among medical and pharmacological students in Saudi Arabia.Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted at multiple universities in Saudi Arabia. Students were given a questionnaire containing 44 questions that included demographic data, school location, BB usage behavior, GPA status before and after using BBs, and a GAD-7 anxiety screening questionnaire.Results: A total of 3326 mainly female senior students participated in the study with a mean age of 21.9± 1.7 years. According to the GAD-7 score, half of the sampled students did not meet criteria indicative of anxiety disorder, and one-third were considered to have mild anxiety with a significant positive correlation between the BB usage and the GAD-7 score. A total of 6.4% of the sample reported usage of BBs. Therapeutics and Internal Medicine were the most common subjects for which BBs were used. When compared to pharmacy students, medical students were more likely to be male, smokers, diagnosed with psychiatric illness, having a higher mean GAD-7 score, report BB usage, and correctly identified common and serious BB side effects.Conclusion: The inappropriate use of BB drugs without medical advice might have short- and long-term effects, and those may be more vulnerable to have psychological issues in the future. COVID-19 pandemic has increased the generalized anxiety among nursing staff. This cross-sectional questionnaire-based study aimed to determine the generalized anxiety disorders among the nursing staff working in secondary and tertiary care hospitals in Punjab province, Pakistan. A GAD-7 scale was used to assess anxiety. Non-parametric statistics were applied to estimate the difference among the groups. Multiple regression model was adopted to explore the impact of covariates on the GAD-7 score. A total of 133 nurses responded to this survey. It was revealed that being female (7.38 +/- 4.20, p=0.032) and having an age of >= 31 years (7.68 +/- 5.14) might lead to a higher GAD-7 score. 19.6% of the respondents had a high level of generalized anxiety (GAD-7 score >= 10), and about 49.6% were falling in the range of mild anxiety. This study proposes a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) virtual reality system and uses a pulse oximeter measuring device to reduce patient’s anxiety. The research investigates the radiation of the patient’s heart rate when using the virtual reality system and degree of the individual’s perception of anxiety. In the end, a questionnaire survey is conducted to understand the patient’s views of this system.This study uses Beckett Anxiety Scale to measure the degree of patient’s anxiety. The experimental results show that the patient’s anxiety level decreased from moderate anxiety to mild anxiety and the performance of heartbeat rate is very different between before and after using VR system. According to the results of the questionnaire, how easy the system is will affect the willing of the patient to use the system. Besides, the opinion of others will affect the patient’s feeling of the useful of the system.

BackgroundHealth concerns are among the major concerns of the staff dealing with infectious diseases, such as COVID-19. This study aimed to examine health anxiety (HA) in the healthcare workers (HCWs) of COVID-19 patients from March to May 2020.Material and MethodsThe statistical population of this descriptive study consisted of all 101 HCWs of COVID-19 patients at Ali ibn-Abi Talib Hospital in the Rafsanjan County, who were invited to help with this survey using the census sampling method. They completed the Short Health Anxiety Inventory (SHAI). The data were analyzed using ANOVA and the independent t-test.ResultsA total of 39 (38.6%) of the participants witnessed the death of COVID-19 patients. Out of the 101 staff, 72.3% suffered from mild anxiety, 24.8% from moderate anxiety, and 3% from health anxiety. The mean score of health anxiety was significantly higher in male participants (p= 0.040) and also in those who witnessed the death of COVID-19 patients (p= 0.036). There was a significant negative correlation between health anxiety and work experience (p=0.032) so that health anxiety was higher in employees with less experience (p= 0.033).ConclusionThe level of anxiety and health anxiety in staff dealing with COVID-19 patients is high. Due to negative effects of anxiety on effectiveness of employee performance, it is necessary to make necessary interventions to improve their mental state.

Background and aims The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has affected people’s lives including patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM). We aimed to investigate the impact of the COVID-19 lockdown on psychological status, self-management behaviors, and diabetes care maintenance among Saudi adults with T1DM using insulin pump therapy. Methods This cross-sectional study used a web survey to collect data on Saudi adults with T1DM who were treated in the specialized insulin pump clinic at King Abdulaziz Medical City-Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. We used the Patient Health Questionnaire-9 and General Anxiety Disorder-7 scales to measure depression and anxiety. Results Of the 70 patients who received the survey, 65 completed it. Overall, 23.1% and 29.2% of the patients reported moderate to severe and mild depression, respectively; 18.5% and 24.6% reported moderate to severe and mild anxiety, respectively. Compared with pre-lockdown, adherence to a healthy diet and regular physical activity decreased in 67.7% and 41.5% of the patients, respectively. Most patients maintained their adherence to insulin pump behaviors; frequent self-monitoring of blood glucose increased in 47% of glucometer users. Most patients benefited from phone visits or virtual education sessions, but 66.2% of the patients reported difficulty obtaining at least one type of insulin pump supply. Conclusions Promoting self-management behaviors and psychological wellbeing of patients with T1DM using insulin pump therapy is crucial during a lockdown. Telemedicine is a useful alternative to in-person appointments, but strategies to ensure that patients have access to adequate resources during lockdown must be developed., Highlights • During the lockdown, Saudi adults with type 1 diabetes on insulin pump showed varying levels of depression and anxiety. • In contrast to diet and exercise, adherence to insulin pump behaviours were not adversely affected in most patients. • Diabetes care delivered virtually was helpful during the lockdown. • 66% of the patients reported difficulty obtaining at least one type of insulin pump supply during the lockdown.

Preparedness is a new paradigm in the context of disaster management. In order to reduce casualties, property losses, and psychological impacts, the community must improve their preparedness. Alue Naga Village, Banda Aceh is one of the earthquakes and tsunami-prone areas. This study aims at determining the effect of earthquake and tsunami preparedness on the level of community anxiety. It utilized an analytic observational method, with a cross-sectional approach with 100 respondents. Data obtained from questionnaires were analyzed using the Kolmogorov Smirnov test. This study demonstrated that 90% of respondents have low preparedness and 70% have mild anxiety levels. It concluded that there is no significant effect between the earthquake and tsunami preparedness on the level of community anxiety in Alue Naga Village, Banda Aceh, with p value= 0.864 (p 0.1). This study recommends more research, especially on the important aspects of preparedness and anxiety levels.

Introduction: There are various stressors that a student will encounter during their initial college days and our focus is to assess if gender and BMI have any effect on the stress and anxiety experienced by students. Materials and Methods: The questionnaire based study was conducted in a private medical college. 172 students doing their paramedical course participated in the study. Anxiety and stress were assessed using Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD-7) and Cohens stress scale. BMI was calculated using anthropometric data. Results: The prevalence of low, moderate and high stress among students was 15.7%, 34.3% and 50.0% respectively. Similarly 29.1% students showed mild anxiety, 36% and 34.9% had moderate and severe anxiety. 57% females showed high stress. Anxiety values was similar among both genders. There was no association between stress and BMI. But underweight students showed more anxiety than others. Discussion: Study shows a wide prevalence of stress and anxiety among students. BMI also acts as a contributing factor for stress. Priority must be given for psychosocial well being of students as it reflects in their academic excellence and social behavior. Pre-surgery is an action before surgery, which can trigger psychological problems, such as anxiety. Spiritual strength is able to help the individual towards the healing and fulfillment of life goals. The aim of the reseach was discover the correlation between the spiritual level and anxiety in preoperative patients in the surgical inpatient units of RSUD Banyumas. This study was conducted from 12 November to 12 December 2019 in the surgical inpatient units of RSUD Banyumas. This research was a non-experimental quantitative, using a correlational research design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample was selected by purposive sampling technique, with 72 sample respondents. The data collection technique used the HARS (Hamilton Rating Scale Anxiety) and DSES (Daily Spiritual Experience Scale questionnaires) questionnaires. The result found 27.8% of patients' preoperative anxiety level at RSUD Banyumas did not experience anxiety, 56.9% felt mild anxiety, and 15.3% suffered from moderate anxiety. Meanwhile, for the spiritual level, only 1.4% of the preoperative patients at RSUD Banyumas had a low spiritual level, 52.8% were at a moderate spiritual level, and 45.8% presented a high spiritual level. The Spearman Rank statistical test obtained p-value = 0.0001; the correlation coefficient was -0.469. There was a correlation between the patients' spiritual level and preoperative anxiety in the surgical inpatient units of RSUD Banyumas.

Anxiety and stress that occur in pregnant women greatly affect the quality of sleeping pregnant women and can pse a risk to the mother and fetus. In Kabupaten Ciamis in 2017 the number of pregnant women as many as 18,881 people. The number of pregnant women in Handapherang Puskesmas working are in february 2018 as many as 237 people. While the number of thirdtrimester pregnant women as many as 91 people. This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of anxiety with sleep quality of third trimester pregnant women in the work area of Handapherang Puskesmas.The research method uses quantitative method of correlational analytic design using simple random sampling technique, with the number of samples counted 48 people from the population number 91 people. The results showed that most of pregnant women’s anxiety was on the level of mild anxiety that is as much as 22 respondents (45,8%). Level of moderate anxiety asmuch as 11 respondents (23%). Severe anxiety as many as 9 respondents (18,7%). While those who did not experience anxiety only 6 respondents (12,5%). Result of research of sleep quality of pregnant mother of trimester III got result only 6 pregnant mother (12%) which sleep quality good while bad sleep quality as much as 42 pregnant mother (88%). Statistical test using spearman rank test with corellation value 0,542 included in strong category and ? value 0,000.Conclusions there is a relationship between the Relationship of Anxiety Level with Sleep Quality of Trimester Pregnant Woman in Working Area of Handapherang Puskesmas with ? value 0,000 smaller than ?= 0,05.

Background COVID-19 started in China and has spread throughout the world since December 2019. The pandemic has not only brought the risk of morbidity and mortality from infection but also psychological burden. Objective To find out the psychological impacts of COVID-19 on students from high schools, colleges and universities in Nepal, along with examining the association between socio-demographic and other related variables and level of anxiety in the students. Method This study sampled students from Nepal using convenience sampling and responded to a quantitative questionnaire that included the 7-item Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale (GAD-7) and other basic information. Finally, 105 respondents were included in the final analysis (100% response rate). Convenient sampling technique was used to gather the sample. Result The results indicated that 18.1% of the respondents were experiencing severe anxiety, 22.9% moderate anxiety, and 25.7% mild anxiety. Moreover, females were more prone to anxiety as compared to males. The results of correlation analysis indicated that economic effects, and delays in academic activities, were positively associated with anxiety symptoms (p < .05). However, social support was negatively correlated with the level of anxiety (p < .001). Conclusion It is recommended that the mental health of students should be monitored during public health emergencies, such as this one. This study examines the psychological impacts of COVID-19 among the college students in Nepal.

Background: Anxiety is often associated with a life-threatening event such as during surgery. The emergence of anxiety begins in the preoperative phase as the initial phase in the surgical process. For someone who is undergoing surgery for the first time, an anxious response will emerge so that it can affect the success of the operation. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the level of anxiety of patients who underwent the first operation at RapihPanti Hospital Yogyakarta. Methods: This research uses descriptive quantitative survey method, with a total sample of 30 respondents using purposive sampling technique. The instrument to assess used was the Hamilton Rating Scale for Anxiety (HRS-A) which was translated into Indonesian. Results: The results showed that the mild anxiety level was in the early elderly 16.7%. The most moderate level of anxiety in the elderly was 13.3% and severe anxiety in late adolescence was 3.3%. Based on gender, the level of mild anxiety was mostly experienced by men 33.3% and moderate anxiety was mostly experienced by women 30%. As many as 60% of patients get information sources on surgery from health workers and seek information on social media independently. Conclusion: The level of anxiety is mild, moderate and severe experienced by all age groups. Types of gender men experience the mild anxiety level and women experience the most moderate level of anxiety. Recommendation for nurses is to provide assistance in knowledge, understanding, and spiritual support, besides the nurses assess the level of anxiety in all patients undergoing surgery. For hospitals develop social media communication as a source of information on surgery.

Introduction: 30-60% patients with skin disorder estimated to have psychiatry comorbidity. Acne vulgaris (AV) is a chronic inflammatory disease of the pilosebaceous follicles with global prevalence around 70-80%. Aim: To assess stress, anxiety and depression in patients of acne and their correlation with acne severity. Materials and Methods: Patients who received diagnoses of acne vulgaris from Dermatology OPD and willing to participate in study where included. Acne severity was assessed using Global Acne Grading System. (GAGS). Patients were assessed for psychiatry morbidity using Hindi version of Depression Anxiety Stress Scale- 21 item (DASS 21). Statistical analysis was done by SPSS version 20.0. Results: Out of 46 patients included in study, 23 (50%) patients reported having mild stress, 7 (15.2%) had moderate and 2 (4.3%) had severe stress. 14 (26.1%) patients reported having mild anxiety and 8 (21.7%) had moderate anxiety. Depression was found in 9 (19.5%) patients as 7 (15.2%) had mild and 2 (4.3%) had moderate depression. As per GAGS, 19 patients had mild acne, 16 had moderate, 8 had severe and 3 had very severe acne. Discussion: Significantly high proportion of patients with acne had stress, anxiety and depression and psychiatry morbidity significantly associated with acne severity. Anxiety and depression were also corelated significantly with acne duration. Conclusion: The relationship between stress, psychiatry morbidity and acne are worth exploring as possible behaviour intervention can be useful in patients. Objective This study was to determine the effect of prenatal yoga on the anxiety level of third trimesters pregnant women in the Singgani Health Center before and after being given yoga pregnancy. Method The method in this study is a type of pre-experimental research that uses the one group pre-test – post-test approach. The samples in this study were 48 subjects using a purposive sampling technique. Prenatal yoga was given to third trimesters pregnancy gestational weeks 30–37 age; the level of anxiety of pregnant women was measured by Interviews using questionnaires. Analysis in the study used the Wilcoxon test. Results Before the intervention of yoga, pregnancy has severe anxiety that is equal to 58.3%, mothers who are not anxious 2.1%, mild anxiety levels 2.1%, mothers who have moderate anxiety levels of 37.5%. After pregnancy yoga, most mothers had a mild anxiety level of 54.1%, mothers who did not have the anxiety of 16.7%, and mothers who had moderate and severe anxiety levels of 14.6% each. Wilcoxon test showed significant statistics. Conclusion This study indicated that prenatal yoga could influence the anxiety level of pregnant women.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN LEVELS OF KNOWLEDGE AND LEVELS OF ANXIETY TOWARD COVID-19 AMONG ADOLESCENTS AT BALIKPAPAN ADVENTIST HIGH SCHOOL Introduction: coronavirus Disease (Covid-19) that appear in Indonesia since the beginning of March 2020 has become a serious condition to all age groups, including teenager. Teenager is called age of transition, when biological and psychological development occurs. Covid-19 can affect the psychological development of adolescents, causing anxiety that can not be controlled. One of the factors that influence anxiety is knowledge.Purpose: the purpose of this paper was to know the relationship between knowledge levels with anxiety levels in adolescents on the Covid-19 pandemic.Method: the study utilized a descriptive analytic with total sampling design. Respondents in this paper were all students of XII class in Balikpapan Adventist Senior High School totaling 60 people. Data collection using knowledge questionnaire adopted from the WHO surveyand Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) questionnaire.Result: there were 9 respondents (15%) with standard knowledge felt mild anxiety, 33 respondents (55%) with good knowledge felt mild anxiety, 4 respondents (6.6%) with standard knowledge felt moderate anxiety, 9 respondents (15%) with good knowledge felt moderate anxiety, 1 respondent (1.7%) with standard knowledge felt severe anxiety, 4 respondents (6.7%) with good knowledge felt severe anxiety. The results of the chi-square test obtained p-value of 0.135 < α (0,05).Conclusion: There is no relationship between the level of knowledge and the level of anxiety in adolescents at Balikpapan Adventist High School. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kecemasan ialah pengetahuan.Tujuan: diketahui hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan tingkat kecemasan pada remaja terhadap pandemi Covid-19.Metode Penelitian: jenis penelitian deskriptif analitik dengan teknik total sampling. Responden pada penelitian ini merupakan seluruh murid kelas XII SMA Advent Balikpapan berjumlah 60 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner pengetahuan yang diadopsi dari survei WHO dan kuesioner Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS).Hasil: diketahui sebanyak 9 responden (15%) berpengetahuan cukup mengalami kecemasan ringan, sebanyak 33 responden (55%) berpengetahuan baik mengalami kecemasan ringan, sebanyak 4 responden (6,6%) berpengetahuan cukup mengalami kecemasan sedang, sebanyak 9 responden (15%) berpengetahuan baik mengalami kecemasan sedang, sebanyak 1 responden (1,7%) berpengetahuan cukup mengalami kecemasan berat, dan sebanyak 4 responden (6,7%) berpengetahuan baik mengalami kecemasan berat. Hasil analisis dengan uji chi-square didapatkan p-value yaitu 0,135 > α (0,05).Kesimpulan: tidak terdapat hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan tingkat kecemasan yang dialami pada remaja, khususnya remaja kelas XII SMA Advent Balikpapan. Objetivo: O objetivo do estudo é avaliar a ansiedade da criança antes e após o tratamento por meio da técnica de distração visual auditiva em crianças. Metodologia: É um estudo quantitativo, descritivo e transversal. O estudo foi realizado entre 2016 e 2017 em duas clínicas de estomatologia pediátrica. A ansiedade foi avaliada antes e após o tratamento pela técnica audiovisual. Resultados: Verifica-se que a ansiedade leve aumenta após o tratamento de 18% para 47%. A ansiedade moderada a severa diminui de 16% para 3%, observa-se que nenhuma criança após o tratamento apresenta ansiedade severa. Esses resultados são estatisticamente significativos. Conclusões: Em conclusão, a técnica de distração auditiva visual pode ser um método eficaz para reduzir os níveis de ansiedade em pacientes pediátricos durante o tratamento odontológico invasivo.

Objetivo: Identificar el nivel de ansiedad según características sociodemográficas de los adultos en aislamiento social obligatorio por COVID-19 en un barrio de una ciudad de Perú.Materiales y métodos: Estudio descriptivo de corte transversal, desarrollado durante una parte del periodo que el aislamiento social obligatorio en el Perú (marzo - junio). El instrumento fue entregado a domicilio, y recogido ya sea en el domicilio o enviado al correo electrónico del investigador entre en 7° y 12º día de aislamiento. Con una población de 142 adultos y una muestra de 67. Se identificó los niveles de ansiedad mediante la Escala de Autoevaluación de la Ansiedad de Zung (1971), y un cuestionario con nueve variables sociodemográficas.Resultados: La ansiedad alcanzó al 43.3% de participantes, 20.9% presentan ansiedad leve, 13.4% moderada, y 9.0% severa. El nivel de ansiedad según variables sociodemográficas fue más frecuente en el sexo femenino, en personas de 40 a más años, casados/convivientes y divorciados/separados, en los que llevan entre 10 a 12 días de aislamiento, cuando se está en compañía de alguien, cuando hay afectación económica o cuando no realizan actividades distractoras.Conclusión: Los niveles de ansiedad durante una pandemia pueden llegar a reducirse cuando; la duración del aislamiento es el más corto posible, la persona recibe información precisa, se informa de medios de comunicación confiables, cuenta con el suministro suficiente para disminuir la frecuencia de salidas, tiene una situación financiera estable, realiza actividades lúdico/recreativas, y cuando mejora la comunicación (física o virtual).

Introduction: The percentage proportion of older people in Indonesia is increasing, indicating that Indonesia is a country with a population structure leaning towards the elderly. If one does not die before that, every human being will surely experience an aging process that can cause various problems such as health problems. Anxiety is one of the serious health problems in the elderly. Physical exercise, such as yoga, can help reduce anxiety level. Aim: To analyze correlation between yoga exercise and level of anxiety in the elderly in Posyandu Lansia Yuswo Widodo Surabaya. Method: This research used a pre-experimental study with pre-posttest one group design, held on the 26th of July 2019 until the 16th of September 2019. The samples in this study were 22 people, all of whom were elderlies who routinely visited and have participated in 16x yoga exercise for two months. The research instrument this study used was HARS. Kendall’s Tau B was used for the data analysis. Results: data analysis shows that there was a correlation between routine yoga exercise and the level of anxiety in the elderly in Posyandu Lansia Yuswo Widodo Surabaya p=0,030. Pretest results showed that there were 14 elderly with mild anxiety and eight elderly with moderate anxiety. post-test data showed five elderly with mild anxiety levels and 17 people who did not have anxiety. Conclusion: There was a correlation between the routine of yoga exercise and the level of anxiety in the elderly in Posyandu Lansia Yuswo Widodo Surabaya.

This research was conducted in Clinics Ciomas Bogor District the Year 2018 in December 2018 with sample i.e. the mother of primipara who have babies (ages 0-12) as many as 42 people,using the technique of sampling accidental sampling, the instruments used i.e. use the questionnaire the dependent variable on the marriage age and the level of anxiety of maternal childnirth primipara in caring for infants aged 0-12 months on independent variables Whilethe data analysis and statistical testwith bivariat sperman rank. On statistical test of research on the relationship of marriage with the mother’s anxiety level parturition primipara in caring infants aged 0-12 month in Clinics Ciomas Bogor Regency in marriage age i.e. get result there 29 (69%) mothers are not at high risk and 13 (31%) were at high risk. Mother’s anxiety level parturition primipara in caring for a baby there are 19 (45,2%) mothers with mild anxiety and 5 (11,9%) mothers with severe anxiety.The relationship of the age of marriage with the mother’s level of anxiety how can primiparan in caring for a baby there are 16 (55,2%) the respondent suffered a mild anxiety with age nit at risk, 0 (0%) the respondents suffered no anxiety with age at risk. Gay, Transgender, and MSM are group that experiencing detention in their health. This group susceptive of anxiety due to negative response from their environment especially from education and occupation. From the other research, showed that 44% from 277 gay having anxiety disorders. This condition becomes very impotant because the higher of anxiety will impact to their physical and physicological condition.Objective: To determine the relationship between education and occupation with levels of anxiety to the Gay, Transgender, and MSM in Bandar Lampung 2019. Methods: The types of research is an analytic survey with cross-sectional approach. The type of data obtained are primary data. The method of collecting data is by given quesionnaire to get answer from subjects. This research was conducted during November 2019. In this research, the samples taken included all member of Gaya Lentera Muda organization of 35 subjects by total sampling technique. Results: It is known from the results of this research that the subjects (gay, transgender, and msm) mostly have middle of 19 subjects (54,3%), mostly have an occupation of 18 subjects (51,4%),and the subjects with middle education have mild anxiety of 7 subjects (36,8%) and the subjects with an occupation mostly have mild anxiety of 9 subjects (50,0%). Conclusion: The final results showed that there is a meaningful relationship between education and occupation with levels of anxiety to gay, transgender, and MSM in Bandar Lampung 2019 (p-value = -0,547 and p-value = -0,595). Higher the levels of education and if the person has an occupation, levels of anxiety will higher.

Stres pada ibu hamil adalah risiko komplikasi, yang dapat membahayakan janin. Kontribusi risiko komplikasi tersebut salah satunya adalah kehamilan dengan malaria. Keterlibatan suami memberikan efek positif pada kesiapan persalinan ibu hamil. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterlibatan suami terhadap tingkat kecemasan ibu hamil multigravida trimester tiga dengan malaria ringan. Metode: Desain penelian yang digunakan adalah quasi experimental dengan rancangan pre-test post-test design dengan penelitian sebanyak 85 responden dengan tehnik consecutive sampling pada ibu hamil multigravida trimester tiga dengan malaria ringan di Puskesmas Timika, Puskesmas Timika Jaya, Puskesmas Pasar Sentral dan Puskesmas Wania di Kabupaten Mimika Provinsi Papua pada bulan November – Desember 2019 dengan menggunakan kuesioner Hamilton Anxiety Rate Scale (HARS) untuk mengukur tingkat kecemasan, kuesioner dukungan/keterlibatan suami untuk mengukur dukungan/keterlibatan suami terhadap kehamilan dan persiapan persalianan, kuesioner tingkat pengetahuan tanda dan bahaya malaria pada kehamilan. Memberikan edukasi tanda dan bahaya malaria dalam kehamilan. Analisis penelitian ini menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil uji statistik memperlihatkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan tingkat kecemasan pada ibu hamil dengan malaria sebelum dan setelah diberikan edukasi, dengan nilai rerata skor tingkat kecemasan cenderung menurun dari 21,54 menjadi 19,06, berada pada kecemasan sedang dan ringan. Kesimpulan: Ada perbedaan tingkat kecemasan ibu hamil setelah dilakukan edukasi dengan pendampingan suami

This study aims to identify distinct clusters of community-dwelling older adults (N = 7580) based on characteristics of common neuropsychological symptoms and examine how these clusters differ in socio-demographics and health-related attributes. Four clusters were identified: 1-No Symptoms (41%), 2-Pain Only (32%), 3-Pain+Moderate+Insomnia+Mild Depression+Mild Anxiety (17%), and 4-Pain+Mild insomnia+Moderate Depression+Moderate Anxiety (10%). Compared to clusters 1 and 2, individuals in clusters 3 and 4 tended to be older, Hispanic or non-Hispanic Black, female, obese, have high school education or less, not live with anyone, and rate their health fair or poor. Compared to cluster 1, others were significantly associated with worse health-related attributes. This association was distinctly stronger in clusters with more symptoms that were more severe. Interventions focusing on pain may need to incorporate strategies to deal with sleep and psychological symptoms and the severity to improve associated health-related attributes and reduce health care burden.

Hemodialysis is a process of cleansing the blood by accumulation of waste. Hemodialysis is used for patients with end-stage renal failure or patients with acute illness who need dialysis for a short time. This study aims to study the relationship of therapeutic communication with anxiety levels in hemodialysis patients in hospitals. Dr. M. Yunus Bengkulu City. This research is a quantitative study with cross sectional research design. Sampling in this study used an accidental sampling technique of 38 respondents. Data obtained directly by providing questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate analysis. The results obtained: (1) Of the 38 respondents who did therapeutic communication as many as 27 people (71.1%), and who did not do therapeutic communication as many as 11 (28.9%). (2) From 38 respondents there were 20 people (52.6%) severe anxiety, 4 people (10.5%) moderate anxiety, 10 people (26.3%) mild anxiety, and 4 people (10.5%) did not there is anxiety. (3) There is a relationship between therapeutic communication and anxiety level in hemodialysis patients in the Hemodialysis Room of RSUD. Dr. M. Yunus Bengkulu, with p-value = 0.003 0.005. It is expected that health workers, especially nurses, use therapeutic communication techniques prior to hemodialysis to reduce the anxiety of patients who will undergo hemodialysis by providing more accurate information regarding actions to be taken to foster a relationship of trust between clients and nurses. COVID-19 has largely negative impact on the economy, wellbeing and education of the country. In the same way, Pakistan has been prominently affected by the COVID-19. The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of COVID-19 on the mental health and academic performance of the students. The quantitative research design with the help of online cross sectional survey questionnaire the data from 592 students was collected. The study found that 200 students were suffering from mild anxiety, 140 from moderate anxiety and 72 from severe anxiety. The study further found that COVID has affected most of the students in Pakistan. The lockdown has effected the concentration on education of loads of students. The study showed that the online learning had negative impacts on most of the student’s learning.

Introduction: The aim of the present study was to assess the anxiety among preoperative women in department of OBG of Saveetha Medical College and Hospital. Hospitalization of a patient during surgery is considered to be a stressful situation. During preoperative period, patients experience anxiety, if untreated leads to an adverse impact on postoperative recovery of a patient. Materials and Methods: An observational study was done on 96 patients aged between 21–70 years undergoing elective both obstetrical and gynecological surgeries in department of OBG in SMCH. After collecting basic demographic details from the participants, by interview method using a structured questionnaire the study was conducted. Results: Prevalence of preoperative anxiety was (63.54%). Patients awaiting elective both obstetric and gynecological surgeries experienced a high level of preoperative anxiety. Based on the severity, very severe anxiety is seen in 63%, severe anxiety in 33.33% while 2.08% showed moderate level of anxiety and mild anxiety is not seen and 1.04% did not show any anxiety. Higher levels of anxiety were seen in older age groups (100%) compared to younger aged ones 51–60 years (69.2%), 31–40 years range (70%) and 21–30 years (56.66%). Higher education was found to be related to higher anxiety levels. P atients belonging to lower middle class 36 (59.02%) showed higher levels of anxiety while upper middle class showed lower levels of anxiety 25(40.98%). Patients undergoing gynecological surgery was found to have highest level of preoperative anxiety compared to patients undergoing obstetrical surgery. Conclusion: The younger age, lower level of socioeconomic status and higher level of education showed positive association with preoperative anxiety. Adolescents experiencing excessive anxiety are often under-identified in the school context, and consequently under-referred for in-school counselling or other mental health support. This is despite anxiety being the most prevalent mental health condition currently experienced by adolescents. The purpose of this study was to explore secondary teachers’ ability to recognise the need to refer adolescents with excessive anxiety symptoms. One hundred and fourteen secondary school teachers completed a questionnaire with five vignettes describing students experiencing various degrees of anxiety. Statistical analysis of the data involved use of the one-sample Wilcoxon test and Spearman's Rank Non-Parametric Correlation Coefficients. Results indicated that teachers recognised the need to refer adolescents with very severe anxiety symptoms. However, they were less likely to correctly identify and refer students with severe, moderate or mild anxiety symptoms. There was no statistically significant difference between male and female teachers’ decision to refer students for school counselling. These findings are an important step forward in understanding how teachers decide whether or not to refer anxious children for support, and in identifying areas for further training and professional development. Implications are discussed for future professional development for secondary school teachers.

Anxiety is something that afflicts almost everyone at a certain time in his life. Anxiety is a normal reaction to a situation that is very pressing for one's life. Anxiety can arise alone or join with other symptoms of various emotional disorders (Savitri Ramaiah, 2003: 10). Based on the results of the preliminary study, it is known that there are still mothers who experience anxiety about facing labor in PEB pregnant women, which is 29%. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between coping strategies and the anxiety of facing labor in PEB pregnant women at Syarifah Ambami Hospital Rato Ebhu Bangkalan. This research method is Analytical, while the research design uses cross sectional. Independent variables are coping strategies, and the dependent variable is anxiety. Population, namely all pregnant women with PEB as many as 33 pregnant women with an average of each month. Samples taken as many as 30 pregnant women with simple random sampling technique. Data collection using questionnaires and HARS scale were processed using cross tabulation and lambda statistical tests. From the results of the study, almost half of 45.8% of PEB pregnant women with mild anxiety with adaptive coping strategies were obtained. Based on the lambda statistical test, get pValue = 0.045 and a = 0.05. Thus the results obtained p = 0.045

HIV/AIDS is a collection of symptoms of diseases caused by the immune system that are acquired (not congenital) caused by Human Immunodificiency Virus, which cause anxiety. From the results of the preliminary study showed that all experienced anxiety. Objective of the study is to describe the level of anxiety of women who suffer from the disease of HIV/AIDS in the foundation Genta Surabaya. Method use is descriptive research, using primary and secondary data. The variable in this study is the level of anxiety in women who suffer from HIV/AIDS. Collecting data is using questionnaires with a total population of 30 women suffering from HIV/AIDS. Analysise use univariate. Purpose: Thermal imaging is a technology that is able to capture images quickly and provide results with high resolution so that it is able to provide accurate results about the temperature picture. The purpose of this study was to examine if there were differences in anxiety conditions at facial temperatures measured using thermal imaging.Methodology:Eighty-one participants were taking the pre-clinical exams was chosen as the inclusion criteria and were divided into four categories of anxiety range (not anxious, mild anxiety, moderate anxiety, and severe anxiety) based on their score measured that using the General Anxiety Disorder (GAD-7) as the instrument. Hospitalization in pediatric patients will cause children to feel anxious and stressed in various conditions. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of family support to anxious responses in school-age children (6-12 years) when an IV was placed in the emergency room at Rafflesia Bengkulu Hospital. This research is a descriptive analytic study with cross sectional approach. A sample of 78 children were placed on an IV line, samples were taken using accidental sampling technique. Data were obtained using a family support questionnaire and anxiety observation sheets. Bivariate analysis uses the Chi Square formula. Univariate analysis results found 57.7% of family support is good while 42.3% of family support is not good, while the level of anxiety of children is 17.9% not worried, 43.6% mild anxiety and 38.5% moderate anxiety. Bivariate analysis found ρ value 0,000, which means there is a relationship between family support and the level of anxiety of children. Conclusion, there is a significant relationship between family support and the level of anxiety of school-age children (6-12 years) when infusion is placed. Hospitalization in children is a process because of a planning or emergency reason that requires the child to stay in the hospital to undergo therapy and treatment until returning home. During the process, the child can experience psychological changes such as feelings of fear, sadness and anxiety. Based on the preliminary survey data on 15 children at Imelda Pekerja Indonesia found 6 children experienced in mild anxiety, while l 2 children experienced in severe anxiety while the support of good families was 4 people and less than 11 people. Background : The period of pregnancy and postpartum is the period when hormonal imbalance and adjustment become a mother (social factor) that makes a woman transition both physically and psychologically. Physically, the phases of pregnancy and postpartum greatly contribute to the increasing rate of obesity in women. Purpose: This study aims to analyze the relationship between body mass index and postpartum women's anxiety level in Sukabumi City in 2014. Methods: This research type is survey research using Cross Sectional method. The target population of the study was women who underwent labor in Sukabumi city of West Java with a sample of 97 people using random sampling technique. Results: From the analysis of the relationship between body mass index and postpartum anxiety level there was a significant relationship. From the results of analysis of body mass index relationship with mild anxiety level and moderate-severe anxiety there is no significant relationship. Discussion: The need to provide counseling about preparing before pregnancy or before birth in women. So that women are ready physically and mentally in pregnancy and labor so that it can reduce the number of anxiety disorders in postpartum women.

Kondisi tidak menentu yang dialami anak dengan Acute Limpoblastik Leukemia (ALL) setelah kemoterapi sering membuat orang tua cemas, bahkan sampai panik saat kondisi anak semakin menurun akibat efek obat kemoterapi. Kecemasan orangtua yang berlebihan, akan membuat anak ikut cemas. Peran perawat dalam mengendalikan kondisi psikologis orangtua, supaya anak tidak ikut cemas sangat diperlukan. Salah satu upaya tersebut adalah dukungan sosial yang diberikan oleh perawat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara dukungan perawat dengan tingkat kecemasan orang tua pasien Acute Limpoblastik Leukimia di Ruang Anak RSUP Dr. Kariadi Semarang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan discriptive correlation, dengan menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian ini 44 orang tua pasien dengan anak ALL. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas dukungan perawat kurang baik sebanyak 52,3% dan mayoritas tingkat kecemasan orang tua pasien adalah kategori cemas ringan sebanyak 40,9%. Hasil Uji bivariate menunjukkan ada hubungan antara dukungan perawat dengan tingkat kecemasan orang tua pasien anak dengan Acute Limpoblastik Leukimia (ALL) di Ruang Anak RSUP Dr. Kariadi Semarang dengan nilai p-value = 0,007 dan r = -0,401. It was a descriptive correlative research with cross sectional approach. The study sample was elderly patient with ALL. The research result showed that nurses’ support was mostly inadequate which was at 52.3% and parents’ anxiety level was considered to be mild anxiety with 40.9%. In Central Kalimantan, it is reported that the cumulative number of HIV and AIDS reached 810 people, with the highest proportion being housewives (19.4%). This number is even higher when compared with HIV / AIDS in Commercial Sex Workers (CSWs) which is 7.4%. For homemakers, the reality of getting HIV / AIDS is related to social construction in the community which places women as the second class, so stigmatization and discrimination often occur. Whereas in some cases for women housewives affected by HIV / AIDS having double burdens such as pregnancy, babies conceived are at risk of contracting HIV, caring for children, caring for a sick husband and sometimes being the backbone of the family because family expenses are increasing. Therefore in the HIV and AIDS control program, the anxiety level of HIV / AIDS patients is a bridge to control the complications of HIV/AIDS in the AIDS stage. Based on the description above, the researchers were interested in researching the anxiety level of HIV (+) homemakers in the City of Palangka Raya. The general objective of this study was to describe the anxiety level of HIV (+) homemakers in Palangka Raya City. This study uses a descriptive qualitative design. Qualitative research was used withconsideration of the focus of attention of researchers is the anxiety level of housewives with HIV/AIDS (+) in the City of Palangka Raya. The technique used in collecting research data is participant observation (participant observations) in-depth interviews and documentation. The implementation of the three data collection techniques is not rigid but sees the right situation. An illustration of the level of anxiety in HIV positive housewives who were respondents, it was found that respondents with mild anxiety levels were 9.5%, while those with moderate anxiety levels were 28.6%, respondents with severe anxiety levels were 38.1%, of which the highest percentage of respondents is at the level of severe anxiety, this is indicated by the results of the rate of respondents' answers, while the respondents with panic/severe anxiety levels were obtained as much as 23.8%. This was felt by respondents with a high level of anxiety, namely discomfort in the extended family, even though the husband could accept the situation but his extended family, in-laws, and siblings were unable to take the presence of HIV positive respondents.

It is normal for mothers who are nearing the laboring stage to feel anxious, worried and frightened, particularly the primipara mothers. The anxiety may raise the pain level, get the muscles tensed, exhaust those mothers which, in turn, inhibit the delivery process. Treatment for anxiety states include four main approaches. These approaches include psychotherapy, relaxation therapy, meditation, and drugs. Relaxation techniques are a lot of techniques that provide the largest input as relaxation techniques during labor can prevent excessive postpartum errors. The objective of this research is to find out the effect of the relaxation technique on the decrease of the anxiety level of the first-stage inpartu mothers at the coverage area of Maesan Local Health Center Bondowoso Regency August 2016. This research employs pre-experimental design, by employing the one-group-pre-post test design. The population of this research is the entire first-stage latent-phase inpartu mothers with the sample numbering 14 individuals. The sampling collection technique used in this research is accidental sampling. Data is taken using the questionnaire sheet and the wilcoxon test is employed as the hypothesis-testing device. Introduction-The coronavirus COVID-19 illness makes a very unpredictable future the main psychological effect is elevated rates of anxiety, because of pandemic and the lockdown. Aim-The aimed of the study was to Assess the level of anxiety during COVID-19 among general population in India. Methodology-A Snowball sampling technique was used to collect the samples from different state and union territory of India. Total 829 participants respond and enrolled themselves in the study. Participants in the study belong to 27 states or union territories of India and majority of them are from Delhi. Result-Most of the Participant in the study was female (54%), graduate (51%), age between 18-28 (60%) and Hindu (89.3%). Half of the participant were having minimal anxiety (57.1%) nearly one fourth of the participant were having Mild anxiety (28.5%) and least number of participants were having Moderate anxiety (11.0%) and Severe anxiety (3.5%).There was no significant association of Anxiety scores with Socio-demographic variable except place of stay, suffering from any health problem and During lockdown period time spent in watching news related to corona (COVID-19) on mobile, laptop, television etc. Conclusion-The study concluded the outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) Cause anxiety among the people.
