The objective of this study is to investigate the planting density, nitrogen and potassium influencing on the pod characteristics of bean. The experiment is made in a Split Randomized Complete Block Design, replicated three times. Two plant densities and seven doses of nitrogen and potassium fertilizers were examined. The results reflected that density had no effect on pod attributes, except pod length in the second season, whereas significantly increased by the lower density. The plant received lower nitrogen lacking potassium increased length in the both seasons however, the higher individual potassium dose and control increased length in first and second seasons, respectively. The widest and narrowest pod diameters shown by the lower dose of nitrogen and higher dose of both fertilizers, subsequently. The separately maximum and minimum dose of potassium in the first and second season subsequently, in addition to the individual lower dose of nitrogen in the second season have a heaviest dry weight. The interaction significantly affected overall parameters, except pod diameter and dry matter in the first season. Pod dry matter is commonly constant, except with the higher density received the greatest dose of both fertilizers, whereas record significant decline. Pod length and diameter are good indicator of quality, it can be given by the lower density and lower dose of nitrogen without potassium. The combination between lower density with higher potassium dose or neutral dose of both fertilizers is a preferable for length while, the higher density with both doses of potassium or with lower nitrogen, is an appropriate for diameter. The best treatment for both, dry weight and dry matter are wobbly.

Novel coronavirus-19 (COVID-19) variants continue to spread worldwide with the development of highly transmissible strains. Several guidelines addressing management of cancer patients during the COVID-19 pandemic have been published, primarily based upon expert opinion. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all aspects of breast cancer care including screening, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term follow-up. Recent reports indicate that mRNA COVID-19 vaccines can provoke lymphadenopathy in both cancer patients and healthy individuals. Unilateral axillary lymphadenopathy (UAL) post-COVID-19 vaccination is a challenging presentation for cancer patients because of the potential for misinterpretation as malignancy. The World Health Organization’s target to vaccinate 70% of the world’s population by mid-2023 is likely to increase the incidence of post-COVID-19 vaccination UAL. In this article, we review the published evidence regarding UAL post-COVID-19 vaccination and present diverse cases of breast cancer patients where false-positive UAL post-COVID-19 vaccination proved to be a therapeutic challenge. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) vaccination program is well ahead of other countries in the world, having accomplished the target of 100% vaccination of the population with at least one dose. Therefore, an increasing number of recently vaccinated patients are likely to present with UAL, detected by surveillance imaging, post-vaccination. We have therefore made recommendations regarding the management of cancer patients with UAL post-COVID-19 vaccination in order to avoid misdiagnosis and unnecessary imaging or invasive biopsy procedures.

Background: Dietary supplements are used to provide the body with nutrients necessary for the regulation of metabolic processes, to increase the nutritional value of a typical diet, and to enhance or maintain health. Aim: To assess the use frequency and demographics of dietary supplements consumers in Baghdad, Iraq. Method: From July to September 2022, a cross-sectional study was conducted by distributing a self-administered survey to consumers attending community pharmacies in the Baghdad metropolitan area. About 150 participants took part in this investigation. Results: The study revealed that the majority of participants were female, constituting 58% of the total, while male subjects constituted 42% of the total. 16% of the subjects were taking multivitamins, with vitamin D3 being the most popular supplement (22.7%). Only 40% of all respondents relied on their physician's advice when using dietary supplements. 73.3% of them did not conduct any laboratory tests before or after ingesting these supplements. Conclusion: Significant numbers of users used calcium and vitamin D3 without obtaining lab results or being monitored by a physician; instead, they consulted the internet for information.

This research deals with the righteous families in the Holy Qur’an. The Noble Qur’an has told us examples of multiple families represented by the families of the Prophets, peace be upon them and others. We have shown in this research the attitudes, judgment, and educational images that these families took in building their good families, and how these families established the moral criterion. In light of a continuous commitment from the two corners of the family to the children, where children acquire morals and principles, and are nourished by the culture that guides them in their future behavior.

The topic of maintaining thermal comfort efficiency in the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) sector has always been tricky due to numerous challenges. The study focused on the challenge of under-actuated zones in non – residential and commercial buildings. The active iris damper with the integration of thermal controller is proposed to control the indoor temperature. Besides, integration of PID control strategy will be a tempting control system in enhancing the thermal performance of the building. Again, the PID controller has proven good compatibility as a primary closed-loop mechanism to maintain a comfortable room temperature. The development of the control system is done through the Arduino platform with LabVIEW as the front panel and data logging platform. The Heuristic tuning method was employed to obtain optimal gains for P, PI and PID controllers. The performance of each controller was tested by observing their ability to maintain steadily at the desired temperature set point. These tests conveyed that the best controller for this application is the PID controller. It reached the desired temperature set point and maintained it even with a temperature disruption. This study indicates that an active iris damper can effectively maintain the thermal comfort performance of indoor environment with the implementation of PID strategy, thus remedying some of the problems faced by centralized air-conditioning systems.

Several new families have been introduced in the last two decades to extend well-known distributions, and at the same time provide great flexibility for modelling real data. We propose the Odd Pareto-G family with two extra shape parameters, and obtain some of its mathematical properties, which give important information about its structure and may be useful in future research. We construct a new regression model based on a special distribution of the new family. Maximum likelihood estimation and simulations are addressed, and these results show that the estimates are consistent for different percentages of censorship. Four applications to real data show the usefulness of the new models, reveal that they are suitable for the presented data, and can be considered interesting alternatives to model censored and uncensored lifetime data.

The present research was designed to characterize the main components of ancient Egyptian wall reliefs of Meir rock tombs at Assiut of Egypt using severalµ-destructive analytical methods. The microscopic characterization included optical examination on painted surfaces and petrographic examination on thin sections of rock fractions. The morphology of pigments and their chemical structure were investigated by scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray spectrometry (SEM-EDX). Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) was used for the investigation of the molecular composition of the render layer and the blue pigment. The mineralogical composition by X-ray diffractometry (XRD) helped to study the stone, underlying preparation layer, and some pigments. The results showed that the petrographic features of the rock samples are based mainly on fine calcite grains. The identified pigments were Egyptian blue (synthetic cuprorivaite), red ochre (iron oxides and clay minerals), and carbon black. While for the green colour, a mixture of Egyptian blue and yellow ochre was created. Since the materials used in the abovementioned tombs were never been previously analyzed, this research will be a valuable start for a future complex study related to painting materials used in the Meir necropolis of ancient Egypt

Heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning (HVAC) technology keeps growing towards providing people with good thermal comfort and indoor air quality. Most buildings use a centralized air-conditioning system in which the air-handling configuration of variable air volume (VAV) system focuses on controlling the zone temperature. But, some of the areas in the zone facing under-actuated and over-actuated airflow lead to the distortion of thermal comfort. Some indoor areas get too cold, and some get too hot due to improper air distribution. The indoor temperature inconsistency will affect the occupants' productivity and work performance. The main focus of this research is to improve the indoor environment's thermal performance by implementing an active air damper as an air controlling device for a centralized air-conditioning system. Indirectly, this will provide the control of temperature for a specific area in the zone with a VAV system. This paper presents the simulation results on the effect of the air damper pattern and its opening parameter against the temperature and airflow distribution in enhancing the thermal comfort performance. The simulation was performed using Ansys FLUENT to analyze three types of air damper patterns: iris, butterfly and radial. The comparison of CFD simulation results shows that the iris damper pattern can provide an acceptable range of temperature of 22 ºC to 24 ºC, which is significant to the desired thermal comfort. The uniform airflow distribution across the indoor area is obtained with no back-flow form in the ducting. Besides, there is a substantial temperature increment when the opening area of inlet airflow is reduced. Therefore, it can be concluded that the iris damper pattern is the best selection for an active air damper since it can provide the best temperature and air flow distribution performance compared to the butterfly and radial air damper.

Purpose This paper aims to investigate the impact of perceived risk, ethical judgement, value consciousness, susceptibility to social influence and neutralisation on counterfeit clothes and accessories purchase intention in Egypt. Design/methodology/approach A single cross-sectional survey was conducted. Questionnaires were used to collect data from 361 counterfeit buyers in Egypt. To test the hypotheses, partial least squares-structural equation model was applied. Findings The results indicate that neutralisation, perceived risk and susceptibility to social influence significantly impact attitudes towards counterfeiting and purchase intentions, whereas value consciousness impacts counterfeit purchase intention. In addition, attitudes mediate the effects of perceived risk, susceptibility to social influence and neutralisation on purchase intention. Practical implications Brand producers/retailers and the government need to adhere to a number of practices to curb counterfeit demand, mainly by tackling the neutralisation’s impacts, demonstrating various risks of counterfeiting and developing a collective attitude against counterfeiting. Originality/value This study contributes to the ethical decision-making literature by empirically testing and quantifying the impact of neutralisation on shaping counterfeit buyers’ attitudes and purchase intention.

Although the essential component of teaching and learning success is school safety, physical Infrastructure in most of the schools Garissa township Sub- County does not comply with the safety standard as recommended by the ministry of education. Even more importantly, most schools do not have enough financial resources on the implementation of the safety standards as the training of teachers is not adequately done to implement safety standards. Despite vast research on safety standards and school safety, their findings on relationship between implementation of safety standards and guidelines in public secondary school in Garissa township Sub-County are inconclusive findings, hence this study. The goal of this research was to assess factors influencing the implementation of safety standards and guidelines in public secondary school in Garissa township Sub- County. This research used a survey research approach, with the 10 principals and 320 teachers in Garissa Township sub-county as the target population from where as sample of 106 respondents was obtained. Data was gathered using questionnaire interviews from where data was analyzed using Pearson r’ and verbatim respectively. To assess the combined role of anti-viral monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) and vaccines in reducing severe acute respiratory syndrome-coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) transmission and mortality in the United States, an agent-based model was developed that accounted for social contacts, movement/travel, disease progression, and viral shedding. The model was calibrated to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) mortality between October 2020 and April 2021 (aggressive pandemic phase), and projected an extended outlook to estimate mortality during a less aggressive phase (April-August 2021). Simulated scenarios evaluated mAbs for averting infections and deaths in addition to vaccines and aggregated non-pharmaceutical interventions. Scenarios included mAbs as a treatment of COVID-19 and for passive immunity for postexposure prophylaxis (PEP) during a period when variants were susceptible to the mAbs. Rapid diagnostic testing paired with mAbs was evaluated as an early treatment-as-prevention strategy. Sensitivity analyses included increasing mAb supply and vaccine rollout. Allocation of mAbs for use only as PEP averted up to 14% more infections than vaccine alone, and targeting individuals ≥ 65 years averted up to 37% more deaths. Rapid testing for earlier diagnosis and mAb use amplified these benefits. Doubling the mAb supply further reduced infections and mortality. mAbs provided benefits even as proportion of the immunized population increased. Model projections estimated that ~ 42% of expected deaths between April and August 2021 could be averted. Assuming sensitivity to mAbs, their use as early treatment and PEP in addition to vaccines would substantially reduce SARS-CoV-2 transmission and mortality even as vaccination increases and mortality decreases. These results provide a template for informing public health policy for future pandemic preparedness.

Background Screening is a cancer prevention measure for groups who are asymptomatic, and diagnosis is a medical test for groups who are symptomatic. The occupational privilege of health care providers (HCPs) is expected to play a positive role in cancer screening practices. Therefore, this study aimed to assess perceptions and personal attitudes of HCPs regarding their decision to screen for cancer in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. Design A cross-sectional multicenter survey study was conducted. A well-designed and validated questionnaire was distributed to the HCPs at three tertiary hospitals in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. Results Out of 900 health care providers who received the questionnaire, 372 completed it. Two-thirds, 247 (66.4%) of them were nurses and the rest were physicians and the mean age was 34.1 ± 7.1 years. Regardless of gender, profession, or age, the overall rate of belief in the importance of regular cancer screening was high; 91.4%. The number of participants who did not screen for colonoscopy was significantly higher than those who screened. The number of females in the age group of between 45 and 54 years who screened with mammography was significantly higher than non-screened. In a similar way, male HCPs above 54 years who got themselves screened for Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) were significantly higher than those who did not. Conclusions Findings of the current research and existing evidence specifically for the Saudi community indicated a need to raise awareness, emphasizing the role of HCPs in motivating themselves, their families, and their patients to implement various cancer screening programs.

Background: Tympanoplasty is a widely performed surgery for the repair of tympanic membrane perforation. Aim of the study: to compare the auditory and anatomical outcomes between two different techniques in tympanoplasty: the first with temporalis facia graft + the new “cubism” graft and the other with temporalis facia graft alone. Patients and methods: A prospective, randomized study was conducted in Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Department, Al-Azhar University Hospital (Damietta). Results: Cubism graft group wasn't significantly different to Temporalis fascia only group regarding ABG (p= 0.233). The ABG gain 3 month in Cubism graft group ranged from 14 to 17.5 with mean ± SD = 16.17 ± 1.15 while in Temporalis fascia only group the ABG gain 3 month ranged from 10 to 16 with mean ± SD = 14.12 ± 1.91 with statistical significant difference (p= 0.005) between the two groups. Conclusion: The novel “cubism” graft technique offers many advantages. Cartilage grafts can be thinned harmlessly while obtaining a convenient additional material in this technique. This hybrid, cartilaginous dust and PRF mixture graft can be used widely in tympanoplasty. We experienced that both functional and anatomical outcomes of this graft are very satisfying.
