One of the most critical operations aspects is power management strategies for hybrid AC/DC microgrids. This work presented power management in hybrid AC–DC microgrids with a droop control strategy. At first, photovoltaic, Wind, and battery are used as the power sources, which supply the power with uncertainties. The AC and DC microgrids are controlled by an Adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) controller and Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) controller. Simultaneously we calculate the running cost for photovoltaic, Wind, and Battery. Moreover, an optimizer based on the elephant herding optimization algorithm is formulated to reduce the cost price. This method utilizes two stages like clan updating operator and separating operator. This cost value is used to calculate the Droop Coefficients in Droop Control Strategy. The autonomous droop control strategy is utilized in the interlinking converter to share the load between AC and DC. This proposed concept is implemented in the MATLAB tool, and the performance is taken in terms of voltage, power, and current for PV and wind, DC link voltage and load current. The bidirectional ac/dc interlinking converter power flow was subsequently changed from 2.2k W to −2k W. The effectiveness of the power dispatch mode under uniform control has been verified.

A high step-up dc-dc converter based on a switched capacitor-coupled inductor (SC-CL) with voltage multiplier cells is proposed. It is composed of a SC-CL and a voltage multiplier module stacked on the load side. SC-CL produces the maximum output voltage with maximum voltage gain. These features make the projected converter suitable for renewable energy applications such as solar photovoltaic (PV). A low turn ratio of the coupled inductor is used for realizing the higher gain. It consists of a voltage boost unit SC-CL and a voltage multiplier module. In a DC micro-grid, PV energy is one of the utmost significant sources of power. Since the PV source voltage is very low, a very high voltage gain converter is required for a DC microgrid. Here, a step-up DC-DC converter topology with a very high voltage gain characteristic is proposed. The projected converter was simulated by MATLAB/Simulink to convert 30 V to 380 V.

The conventional system of irrigation how efficient and well managed it may be wastes up to 50% of the water supplied. Purpose of this paper is to provide a user-oriented and standalone irrigation solution for soil monitoring and water conservation, based on network of sensor. Using the input from the user the system will act automatically. It not only reduce the water waste but also is cost efficient and easy to operate. Different parameters like soil moisture, temperature and humidity are imported in order to calculate the efficient quantity of water needed. This system uses different sensors like soil moisture sensor, humidity sensor and temperature sensor to take required data. In this paper, the proposed project uses sensor having low power consumption reducing load overall. The system also stores the input and uses it for forecasting. The concept of IoT is implied in this paper. The control of motors are automated powered by solar panels. The data is stored in table format. All data is accessible via internet. This system can help the user to gain vital data about the fields irrespective of the weather condition.

In recent years our world is witnessing a great advent in technology and population. With the increase in population there has been an increase in the number of four wheelers i.e. cars. People need more parking spaces. Car parking is a major problem nowadays. Safe and secure parking is needed. Four different car parking proposals are tried and tested: counter-based, wired-sensor-based, wireless-sensor-based, and image-based. In this paper we test a counter based parking system. Arduino and an electronic circuitry has been used to tackle this problem of parking. It keeps a count of the number of cars in the parking lot and also displays if there are empty spaces. Such parking lot does not require any human presence. It is also cheap and easy to operate.

Electric vehicles are becoming more demanding these days. In this project the possibility of using Ackerman steering with electric drive servomotor is explained. Scalability is the advantage of using this mechanism which can be adopted for four-wheel vehicle system as well. The objective of this project is to do design a system using Ackerman steering which determines the maximum and minimum angle of the turning of the wheels. It also avoids the front tire slippage and activates pure rolling. Ackermann steering geometry is a geometric arrangement of linkages in the steering of a car or other vehicle designed to solve the problem of wheels on the inside and outside of a turn needing to trace out circles of different radii. The geometrical solution to this is for all wheels to have their axles arranged as radii of circles with a common centre point. As the rear wheels are fixed, this centre point must be on a line extended from the rear axle. Intersecting the axes of the front wheels on this line as well requires that the inside front wheel be turned, when steering, through a greater angle than the outside wheel. The microcontroller used in this project is ATMega16 andlmax232 is used for the serial data transmission.

An internet of things (IoT) is an exclusive method, were its impact on the enactments of human life is very trendy. This research on library control system operates on the basis of IoT and optical character recognition (OCR) algorithm rules and its training. A closed-circuit television (CCTV) watched mechanism is created to control the book issuing and returning phenomenon via tag studying system in the library. In this proposed work text file is converted into an audio file. This audio file is being played and the contents of the book can be heard via the headset. This unique function of the OCR helps blind people. Now a days OCR widely focused in machine processes such as machine transformation, text to speech extraction and text data mining. It utilized in various area of research in artificial intelligence, computer vision and pattern recognition. Using OCR to scan the damaged book in the library converted into pdf format the book gets new life and sharing the contents to multiple readers. In this paper aims to implement IoT based library management system to maintaining books in digital format.
