Wind power forecasting is significant for the security and economy of the power system. For the better robustness and accuracy, various clustering-based forecasting methods have been proposed. However, most of them utilize clustering on a daily sample basis usually called day clustering, which mainly exploits daily features of numerical weather prediction (NWP) and meets some limitations. In this paper, a single point clustering method is proposed to enhance the performance of day-ahead forecasting, which is conducted on a point sample basis through K-means algorithm. First, the extraction of clustering features is optimized. Being different from the commonly used clustering features, the high-order features extracted from NWP is used for the proposed method based on stacked denoising autoencoder (SDAE). Then, both the compactness within the single group and the separation among the multiple groups are enhanced, which is realized through choosing the number of clusters to maximize silhouette. In the case study, the proposed method is compared to the conventional day clustering method with two types of features and the single point clustering with the commonly used clustering features of NWP. Through the results, it is shown that the proposed method performs better than the other comparative methods.

Microgrid is an effective system for integrating distributed generations, energy storages, loads and some auxiliary devices. To improve the efficiency of the system, the optimal energy dispatch is an effective method that can control these kinds of sources and loads. A real-time optimal energy dispatch for microgrid is proposed in this paper, which can reduce the energy loss and enhance the economy. Compared with the conventional dispatch method, that is more useful because the real-time dispatch can avoid some predictive error accumulation and the battery energy storage in the microgrid can transfer energy from one scheduled period to another. First, the object function of optimal energy dispatch is put forward and the constraints of microgrid are analyzed. Second, after the optimal model is established, the particle swarm optimization algorithm is adopted to search the optimal solution of the problem. Third, the best rated capacity of batteries of a certain microgrid is determined by simulation. At last, the optimal energy dispatch is verified by a simulation test and the result reveals this dispatch is effective and practical.

The cellular localization and molecular interactions are indicative of functions of a protein. The development of a simple and efficient method for subcellular localization of a protein is indispensable to elucidate gene function in plants. In this study, we assessed the feasibility of Agrobacterium-mediated transformation (agroinfiltration) of tobacco and tomato leaf tissue to follow intracellular targeting of proteins from rice fused to green fluorescent protein (GFP). For this, a simple in planta assay for subcellular localization of rice proteins in the heterologous host systems of tobacco and tomato leaf via transient transformation was developed. We have tested the applicability of this method by expressing GFP fusions of the putative antiphagocytic protein 1 (APP1) (OsAPP, LOC_Os03g56930) and ZOS3-18 - C2H2 zinc-finger protein (OsZF1, LOC_Os03g55540) from Oryza sativa L. subsp. japonica in tobacco and tomato leaf tissues. Our results demonstrate the suitability of GFP as a reporter in gene expression studies in tomato cv MicroTom. The use of GFP-fused proteins from rice for subcellular targeting in the heterologous hosts of tobacco and tomato plant systems has been confirmed.

We suggest an approach to detect the conformation of single molecule by using the photon counting statistics. The generalized Smoluchoswki equation is employed to describe the dynamical process of conformational change of single molecule. The resonant trajectories of the emission photon numbers $$ and the Mandel's $Q$ parameter, in the space of conformational coordinates $\bm{\mathcal{X}}$ and frequency $\omega_L$ of external field ($\bm{\mathcal{X}}-\omega_L$ space), can be used to rebuild the conformation of the single molecule. As an example, we consider Thioflavin T molecule. It demonstrates that the results of conformations extracted by employing the photon counting statistics is excellent agreement with the results of {\it ab initio} computation., Comment: 5 pages, 2 fighures

Aiming at the lack of effective control strategies about a nonlinear, strong coupling and long time delay object--artificial climate chest, a new adaptive control method is proposed based on fuzzy theory. An improved fuzzy controller which can self-adjust parameters on-line is designed. Furthermore, it is proved that the control strategy in this paper is effective and superior with fuzzy set theory, multi-variable Fourier Transform and approximate theory by analyzing the essential model of fuzzy controller. Last, the results of experiments show that the method proposed in this paper can control temperature and humidity in artificial climate chest better. The results of this paper can be helpful in understanding fuzzy control more deeply and directing how to design fuzzy controller for complicated systems.

Aiming at the complex nonlinear characteristics of strong coupling and the long time delay artificial climate chest and the lack of effective control strategies about artificial climate chest, a new adaptive control method was designed based on Bi-CMAC (Cerebellar Model Articulation Controller). By model transformation the control diagram was proposed and the experiments were carried out to have a test. The experiment results show that the method in this paper can be used effectively in artificial climate temperature and humidity tracking control with quick and accurate response.
