The deity is frozen in caves, ditches and rocks. Kollimalai paavai is the guardian deity who threatens and guards Condor in the Kolli Hills. Sangam poets have compared it to a Kollimalai paavai as a testament to the beauty of women. The next paavai worship is the water worship. Worship of the water god paavai took place in the early morning of the month of Tai, in the hope that a good husband would be obtained by worshiping the water god paavai, good rain, and the country would prosper.

Many models are currently in use Like Regression techniques, Long Short-Term Memory algorithm etc. FB Prophet is proven to perform better than most other Algorithms with better accuracy. From the proposed research and references we have determined Facebook's Prophet algorithm as our forecasting algorithm because it is predicting at better accuracy, low error rate, handles messy data, doesn’t bother for null values and better fitting.

The one important asset of our country is Bank currency and to create discrepancies of money miscreants introduce the fake notes which resembles to original note in thefinancial market. During demonetization time it is seen that so much of fake currency is floating in market. In general, by a human being, it is very difficult to identify forged note from the genuine not instead of various parameters designed for identification as many features of forged note are similar to original one. To discriminate between fake bank currency and original note is a challenging task. So, there must be an automated system that will be available in banks or in ATM machines. To design such an automated system there is need to design an efficient algorithm which is able to predict weather the banknote is genuine or forged bank currency as fake notes are designed with high precision. In this project six supervised machine learning algorithms are applied on dataset available on UCI machine learning repository for detection of Bank currency authentication

Plant diseases are important to investigate because they cause loss of plant life and product. Various forms of losses can occur in the field, in storage, or at any point between sowing and harvesting. Direct monitory loss and material loss are caused by the diseases. Plant diseases continue to cause agony to untold millions of people around the world, resulting in an estimated annual yield loss of 14% and a global economic loss of $220 billion dollars. Plants were afflicted by several diseases 250 million years ago, according to fossil evidence. The Plant sickness has been linked to a number of significant events in the Earth's history. In this paper, we have analyzed various types of diseases which affects the plants and applied some machine learning classification approaches to plant dataset. Among these classification steps, we identified the percentage of accuracy in each algorithm so that proper approach can be followed to identify the plant diseases at the earlier stage.

Introduction: The use of plant extracts in the green synthesis of metallic nanoparticles is one of the simplest, most practical, economical, and ecologically friendly methods for avoiding the use of toxic chemicals.Method: Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) were synthesized, employing a high-efficiency, non- toxic, cost-effective, green, and simple technique that included the use of Salacia oblonga root extract (SOR) as a capping agent compared to synthetic nanoparticles. The use of S. oblonga can be seen in traditional medicines for treating diabetes, obesity, rheumatism, gonorrhea, asthma, and hyperglycemia. The objectives of the current study were to green synthesize S. oblonga root extract silver nanoparticles (SOR-AgNPs), characterize them, and study their antioxidant, antibacterial, and antidiabetic activities.Result: The shape of SOR-AgNPs was spherical, at less than 99.8 nm in size, and exhibited a crystalline peak at XRD. The green synthesized SOR-AgNPs showed significant antioxidant properties like DPPH (80.64 μg/mL), reducing power capacity (81.09 ± SEM μg/mL), nitric oxide (96.58 μg/mL), and hydroxyl (58.38 μg/mL) radical scavenging activities. The MIC of SOR-AgNPs was lower in gram-positive bacteria. The SOR-AgNPs have displayed efficient inhibitory activity against α-amylase, with an EC50 of 58.38 μg/mL. Analysis of capping protein around the SOR-AgNPs showed a molecular weight of 30 kDa.Discussion: These SOR-AgNPs could be used as antibacterial and antidiabetic drugs in the future as it is cheap, non-toxic, and environmentally friendly. Bio-fabricated AgNPs had a significant impact on bacterial strains and could be used as a starting point for future antibacterial drug development.

Introduction: Maternal and child health refers to the promotive, preventive and curative and rehabilitative care of mothers and children. Antenatal 1 care is the care of women during pregnancy the main aim of care is to achieve at the end if a pregnancy healthy mother and healthy baby. Most of the Antenatal mothers don't know about the Different maternal health benets scheme. Providing knowledge about the maternal health benets scheme helps to live a better-quality life.The aim of the study was to nd the effectiveness of Self-Instructional Module (SIM) on the knowledge regarding Maternal health benet schemes among antenatal mothers. Methods: An evaluative approach with pre-experimental one group pre-test post-test design was used with purposive sampling technique to select the sample (N=50). A structured knowledge questionnaire was used to assess the Knowledge and SIM was administered to nd its effectiveness. The collected data was analyzed by using Descriptive statistics like mean, median and standard deviation, and inferential statistics like paired and independent 't' test was included to test the hypothesis and Chi-square test was included to test the association of knowledge scores with demographic variables. Results: The mean percentage of post-test knowledge score (79.1 %) was higher than the mean percentage of pre-test knowledge score (46.5%). The calculated' value [t (49) = 52.39] is greater than the table 2 value (0.05, 49df) = 1.96. It showed a signicant difference between mean pre- and post- test knowledge scores. The calculated χ values for age 2 group, type of family, educational status, family income per month, Gravida of the mother were more than the table value and calculated χ values were less than the table values for Source of information with their post-test knowledge scores. Interpretation & Conclusion: The ndings of the study showed that there was a decit in knowledge of Antenatal mothers before administration of SIM. The results indicated that the SIM is effective in increasing the knowledge of Antenatal mothers on Maternal health benet schemes.

Primary testicular non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) is an uncommon extra nodal lymphoma presentation, constituting 1-2% of all lymphomas. Majority are of B-Cell type, with very few cases being primary T-Cell phenotype. A 28 years male presented with painless, unilateral testicular swelling with elevated serum LDH levels, beta HCG and AFP serum levels were within normal limits. Gross evaluation of high inguinal orchidectomy specimen showed an enlarged homogenous, grey white lobulated mass with adjacent entrapped testicular parenchyma. Microscopy showed diffuse sheets of medium sized, monomorphic atypical lymphoid cells with sparing of adjacent seminiferous tubules. A panel of Immunohistochemistry markers done were suggestive of T-Cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. Testicular T cell NHL are extremely rare amongst the testicular lymphomas, constituting for 5% of all testicular tumours. This case is being presented for its rarity in literature, especially in young age group and the unusual histomorphology.

Solitary intraductal papilloma of the breast is a common benign mammary proliferative disease and is the most common neoplasm associated with nipple discharge in women. Women with solitary papillomas have 1.5-2.0 times increased risk of developing invasive carcinoma. The papillary lesions of the breast include a broad spectrum of disorders from benign papilloma, atypical papilloma to papillary carcinoma. Benign papilloma on core needle biopsy has been found to have concurrent malignancy in about 3–5% of cases at excision. Solid papillomas commonly pose a diagnostic dilemma due to similarities with other ominous papillary lesions. The presence of ADH within a papilloma and/or in the surrounding breast is associated with an increased risk of recurrence or invasive carcinoma. The present study undertakes to fully describe the morphological changes occurring within the epithelial component of central papillomas and to search for factors of prognostic significance concerning recurrence, progression and differentiation of atypical ductal hyperplasia.

Structural analysis is used to assess the behavior of engineering structures under the application of loads. Usually, structural analysis methods include analytical,experimental and numerical methods is used in thisproject, however, only Analytical method is used and the values are taken from literature reference, to get familiar with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using ANSYS, this is done to acquire practical knowledge about of the effect of the cover. The aim is to identify different failure modes under a range of loading conditions by changing the cover size to get the data of various parameters such as deflection, stress etc. Study of cover helps to observe the stability, reliability and the overall strength of the structural beam. This project attempts made to study the effect of cover on the behavior of reinforced concrete beam. Forthis analytical study, the Reinforced concrete beam specimen of 2000x100x200mm was considered.ANSYS software is a suite of engineering simulation software, based on finite element method, which can solve problems ranging from linear analysis to nonlinear analysis. The Doubly reinforced beams weremodeled by using geometry. In this model,various covers are provided. The beam specimensused in this study were tested under two-point static loading condition until failure of the specimen. From theobtained resultconcluded that the total deformation and directional deformation values are low in 25mm cover compared to other cases but the equivalent stress value is low in 35mm cover size compared to 25mm cover size.

Pain is a global public health problem given its high prevalence and incidence, long duration, and social and economic impact. There is growing interest in nutrition as potential modifiable risk factor related to pain; however, the associations between healthy dietary patterns and pain have not yet been well established. Thus, we aimed to systematically review and synthesise current cross-sectional and longitudinal evidence on the relationship between a priori healthy dietary patterns and noncancer pain among adults aged ≥18 years. We identified relevant published cross-sectional and longitudinal studies by systematically searching several electronic databases from inception to September 2021. Risk of bias was assessed using the modified Newcastle-Ottawa scale for cohort studies. A total of 14 cross-sectional and 6 longitudinal studies were included in the review. These studies measured different dietary scores/indices, such as different measures of adherence to the Mediterranean diet and the dietary inflammatory index. Pain ascertainment methods and pain measurements used differed across studies. All 20 of the included studies had different study designs and statistical analysis. Of these studies, 10 reported an inverse association between adherence to a healthy dietary pattern and pain, 5 reported mixed results, and 5 reported no associations. Despite notable heterogeneity, 50% of included observational studies reported that adherence to a healthy diet, particularly the Mediterranean diet, is inversely associated with pain. Of note, the cross-sectional design of most studies precludes any causal interpretation. Moreover, limited and inconsistent evidence from longitudinal studies highlights the need for further studies.

The Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and institution of the Movement Control Order (MCO) had resulted in the cancellation of a major orthopaedic exam in April 2020. The exam is known as the Malaysian Orthopaedic Specialist Committee (OSC) Part I Examinations. It is similar to the British Royal Colleges of Surgeons Membership (MRCS) exams and held twice annually in April and October. There are up to 200 candidates involved. With implementation of new guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOP), the OSC Part I exam was successfully held by Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) from 5th-9th October 2020. Here we highlight the challenges we faced whilst coordinating a major exam at a national level during the COVID-19 pandemic with recommendations for future exams.

Metformin, a widely used antihyperglycemic drug for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. The usage of this therapeutic drug has become more common as the frequency of diabetes mellitus metabolic disorder is high worldwide especially in India. Improper disposal of the expired drug is creating a huge impact in the environment as well as financial prudence for the country. UV-visible spectrophotometry is one of the simple and accurate method for the apposite validation of drug. Our aim is to evaluate and compare the expired and extant metformin drug by UV-visible spectrophotometry. We observed the absorption maxima at 233nm and the resolution of the analyte peak is highly specific for metformin drug. The calibration curve with different concentration of both expired and extant drugs was found to be linear. The repeated interday and intraday measurements of both the drug at 10 ppm concentration were extremely precise and the percentage recovery was accurate by zero order spectroscopy. The drug solution was stable at different time points and the robustness during all variations was not much affected for both the expired and extant metformin drug. We observed the system suitability is satisfactory and fulfilled all the parameters of method validation. The detection and quantification limit of both the drugs was found to be the lowest concentration about 1ppm as an exact value. Our results conclude that there is no significant variation in all the method validation parameters between the 10 years expired and extant metformin drug. This will be helpful to avoid wastage or disposal of enormous expired metformin drug and to reconsider the extension of expiry date by pharmaceutical companies with proper approval of the organizations.

Government of India officially launched Directly Observed Treatment-Short course (DOTS) strategy in 1997 to offer better Tuberculosis (TB) care services under Revised National Tuberculosis Control Program (RNTCP). Under this strategy, DOTS providers need to observe and assist the tuberculosis patient to take their DOTS medicine and document the same after each dosing. As part of Public-Private Mix (PPM) partnership under RNTCP, Community Pharmacists (CPs) needs be trained to observe DOTS.This study was aimed to assess the change of CPs basic knowledge on tuberculosis; and attitude to practice as TB-DOTS provider after an educational intervention. Pretest and post test were carried out for 149 participants, to measure the changes in their TB Knowledge and attitude. The changes in the proportions of choices the subjects were analyzed using inferential statistical tests. It was evident from our study that CPs in spite of their knowledge about the TB and the pathogenesis, they were found largely unaware of the Government DOTS-TB treatment national policy and the role they can play in their private practice setups

Osteoporosis is a disease of bone characterized by low bone mass and micro-architectural deterioration of bone tissue, that leads to enhanced bone fragility and increased likelihood of fractures. Osteoporosis may be caused due to lower than the normal peak bone mass. Low bone mass results in faster rate of bone porosity and predisposes to osteoporotic fractures. Plyometrics is one of the most effective types of exercises for stimulating bone growth .The aim of the study was first to evaluate the effectiveness of plyometrics benefits on physiological parameters of osteoporosis among premenopausal women. Second to find out the association between the physiological parameters of osteoporosis among premenopausal women with selected demographic variables. The versatility of the natural products (2S,3S)- and (2S,3R)-3-hydroxy-5-oxotetrahydrofuran-2,3-dicarboxylic acids (1 and 2), isolated in large amounts from tropical plant sources, has been demonstrated by the construction of 3-substituted and 3,4-disubstituted chiral pyrrolidine-2,5-diones. The absolute configurations of chiral pyrrolidine-2,5-diones have been ascertained using chiroptical spectroscopic methods and/or single-crystal XRD data. A combination of different reaction strategies delivering a diverse matrix of fused heterocyclic ring systems is presented. The pyrrolo[2,1-a]isoquinoline alkaloid (+)-crispine A possesses a wide range of pharmacological activities including antidepressant, antiplatelet, antileukemic, and anticancer activities. The analogues of indolizino[8,7-b]indole alkaloids (+)- and (-)-harmicine show strong antileishmanial, antinociceptive, PDE5-inhibitory, antimalarial, and antiviral activities. Leaf size is a major determinant of crop performance by influencing leaf physiological processes, such as light capture, transpiration, and gas exchange. Therefore, understanding the genetic basis of leaf size regulation is imperative for crop improvement. Natural variation in leaf size for a crop plant is a valuable genetic resource for a detailed understanding of leaf size regulation. We investigated the mechanism controlling the rice leaf length using cultivated and wild rice accessions that showed remarkable differences for the leaf features. Comparative transcriptomic profiling of the contrasting accessions suggested the involvement of Gibberellic Acid (GA), Growth Regulating Factor (GRF) transcription factors, and cell cycle in the rice leaf size regulation. Leaf kinematics studies showed that the increased domain of cell division activity along with a faster cell production rate drove the longer leaves in the wild rice Oryza australiensis compared to the cultivated varieties. Higher GA levels in the leaves of Oryza australiensis, and GA-induced increase in the rice leaf length via an increase in cell division zone emphasized the key role of GA in rice leaf length regulation. Zone-specific expression and silencing of the GA biosynthesis and signaling genes confirmed that OsGRF7 and OsGRF8 function downstream to GA for controlling cell cycle to determine the rice leaf length. The GA-GRF-cell cycle module for rice leaf length regulation might have contributed to optimizing leaf features during the domestication and could also be a way for plants to achieve leaf plasticity in response to the environment. Summary High Gibberellic Acid level promotes cell division and cell production rate in rice leaves to increase the leaf length.

Cryptococcus neoformans is the most common life threatening fungal pathogen that infects patients with Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS). We present a case of 14 year old female came with complaints of bilateral non tender lymphadenopathy and mass per abdomen. On FNAC from lymphnode and spleen showed varying sized of cryptococcal organism which was further confirmed with Indian ink preparation. Following Human Immunodeficiency Virus test showed positivity. In immunocompromised individuals Cryptococcosis is the prevailing cause of death among opportunistic fungal disease. Greater number of studies showed the cryptococcosis in lung, meninges and skin whereas lymph node and spleen involvement is considered to be rare. We report a case of systemic cryptococcosis presenting as cervical lymphadenopathy and splenomegaly, diagnosed on fine needle aspiration cytology. Rasadhatudushti (RD), the deranged state of Rasadhatu, is a construct in Ayurveda mentioned as the cause of diseases affecting the circulatory channels and the heart, collectively called cardiovascular diseases (CVD). It is a morbid condition generic to some other disorders, hence is non-specific to CVD. It was observed that RD was present in majority of acute coronary artery disease in a cross-sectional, descriptive study in 250 patients stabilized after an acute episode.To validate the available scale for assessing RD in the context of CVD risk. To study the prevalence of RD in participants at risk of cardiovascular diseases.In the first part, validation of the scale for assessing RD, as mentioned in the texts, was done through standard steps for scale validation in the context of CVD risk. Psychometric analysis was done after administering the draft scale of 39 items in 218 participants above the age of 40 years who were not yet diagnosed with overt CVD conditions. Construct validation was done by comparing mean score of Framingham global risk score in high and low RD scores and comparing the reduction in CVD risk score assessed by Qrisk®2-2017 by life style modification and a conventional RD correction as add on. Second part was a cross sectional survey study to estimate the prevalence of RD in a specific population vulnerable to CVD. This was done in a sample of 160 sedentary government employees of Thiruvananthapuram District, Kerala, aged above 40, using the validated RD assessment scale.-The final scale to assess RD, 'RAS-RCVD', with 25 symptoms was found to have concurrent validity using WHO/ISH risk prediction as the reference standard. Framingham global risk score also showed significant but low positive correlation with eight as the cut off for RD score. The reduction in mean (SD) Qrisk score was 2.53 (3.22) in the trial group receiving RD correction drug and 0.30 (3.43) in the control with statistical significance (p 0.05). The prevalence of RD as assessed by RD score above the cut off in the second part of the study was 49.4%. The prevalence of RD was significantly high in participants with moderate to high risk for CVD (61.3%).- The construct RD was observed to be valid in pre-clinical states of CVD. There was a high prevalence of this morbid construct in moderate to high-risk individuals. Ayurvedic CVD prevention strategies need to target on correction of RD along with individual risk factor management.

Software reliability is in demand as the software development is increasing rapidly. The fundamental issue of software reliability isn't having legitimate arrangement and there might be an issue with plan moreover. The impact of setup shortcomings is a result of its lack of quality, which in this manner rises up out of human research failures. In the past, many techniques are applied to predict software reliability and gaining the result may not be as effective as it goes because the data is increasing. We employed a new technique called spiking neural network to predict the software reliability. The three failure datasets are taken from literature, those are Musa 1979a, Musa 1979b, Iyer and Lee 1996. The final result is calculated in terms of Normalized Root Mean Square Error (NRSME) values.

This paper presents the design of dual-band antenna using metamaterial structures as radiating elements. Dual resonance is obtained by making use of square closed-ring resonator and square split-ring resonator. This research develops an antenna having dimensions of 31.7 × 27 × 1.6 mm3 which operates at two bands from 2.40 to 2.50 and from 3.41 to 4.27 GHz. This antenna can be used for WLAN and WiMAX applications at 2.45-GHz and 3.5-GHz band, respectively. This paper includes necessary parametric analyses. Comparison between numerical and actual results of an antenna is given to validate the proposed design. The proposed antenna has been fabricated and tested. Good equivalence has been found between simulated and measured results. This demonstrates the applicability of the proposed antenna.

Background: Women undergoing caesarean section are associated with high rates of post-operative infections, which causes significant rise in infectious morbidity, duration of hospital stay and cost treatment. Implementation of appropriate antibiotic prophylaxis is desirable to prevent these complications. We aimed to observe the outcome of Intravenous single dose antibiotic prophylaxis pre-operatively followed by oral antibiotics post-operatively, in comparison to other group with multiple dose Intravenous antibiotic prophylaxis post-operatively.Methods: An observational study conducted in the department of obstetrics and gynaecology, L.N.M.C and J.K. Hospital, Kolar Road, Bhopal, on patients undergoing Elective or Emergency Lower segment caesarean section (LSCS) for a period of 6 months, on 100 subjects, with 50 participants in each group. Null hypothesis was invalidated by statistically analysing the data using chi square test, Unpaired t-test and odds ratio.Results: Prevalence of c-section was more in 25-31year age group. Abnormal presentation was the most common indication for elective LSCS in both the groups (8%), non-progress of labour and foetal distress was the most common indication for emergency LSCS in group A and B respectively (10%). There was statistically insignificant difference in the occurrence of post-operative complications in both the groups (chi sq. value=0.4285, p value=0.5127) with overall, most common complication was febrile morbidity (8% vs.12%).
