The patients with diseases that cause severe movement disabilities was noticeably increasing. These disabilities made patients unable to carry out their daily activities or interact with their external environment. However, the existence of human-computer interfaces (HCI) gave those patients a new hope to be able to interact once again. HCI enabled these patients to communicate with their environment by recognizing the movement of their eyes. Eye movements are recorded by an electro-oculogram (EOG) through some electrodes that are put vertically and horizontally on the eyes. In this paper, EOG vertical and horizontal signals were analyzed to detect six eye movements (up, down, right, left, double blinking, and center). Three deep learning models namely convolution neural network (CNN), visual geometry group (VGG), and inception had been examined on filtered EOG signals. The experimental results reveal the superiority of the inception model in providing the best average accuracy 96.4%. Accordingly, a writing system is presented based on the detected movements.

A Primary cutaneous leiomyosarcoma located in the left thigh is reported in a 83-year-old patient. The clinical examination found a voluminous ulcero-budding infected tumor, measuring 15 cm long axis. The result of the histological examination and the immuno-histochemical profile revealed the diagnosis of a leiomyosarcoma. The patient underwent extensive excision with cutaneous margins of three to five cm and carried the Gracilis muscle deep down. After one year of control, we did not notice local recurrence. The prognosis remains poor. We recommend long-term follow-up of patients to prevent recurrence. The purpose of this work is to show the difficulties to make the diagnosis and describe our management of this rare case.

Fast-track construction projects that begin with inadequate design information have become more common in response to a rising construction industry demand. Fast-tracking shortens project duration while increasing rework. To meet project deadlines while minimising rework, specialists must select the best fast-tracking strategy. As a result, a questionnaire was developed to assess the success characteristics of fast-track construction and to provide constraints for these features and variables in national construction projects. National construction projects address specific government needs or investments to maximise the national return. The survey limited these factors by specifying maximum and minimum percentages. These percentages were chosen to expedite project building. The period in national projects varies from that of the typical construction approach to the shortest time that can be achieved with a plan. Cost and quality are within 20 and 10% of those of national project traditional construction methods, respectively. The best setting for various construction projects is determined by these proportions. It is preferable to use these percentages as a reference to complete construction projects within the shortest time, with the highest quality and at the lowest cost. This questionnaire was completed by 211 building experts.

The peak of children's growth and development occurs in the first 1000 days of human life, but the basic foundation in stimulating growth and development is in the age range of the first 0-6 months. Development is strongly influenced by nutrition. The development of babies with exclusive breastfeeding and formula milk will experience differences due to different nutritional content. The incidence of infants who received formula milk by 89.19% experienced developmental delays. Meanwhile, babies with exclusive breastfeeding of 67.57% experience normal development. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there were differences in the development of infants aged 0-6 months who received exclusive breastfeeding with formula milk in sampoiniet sub-district, Aceh Jaya Regency. The type of research used is observational analytical research with a Cross Sectional approach. . This research was conducted in September 2022 in Sampoinet District, Aceh Jaya Regency. The population in the study was babies aged 0- 6 months in Sampoinet District, Aceh Jaya Regency, which was 160 people. The sampling technique using Accidental sampling was 44 people. Clinical parameters such as sinus membrane perforations, nasal bleeding, postoperative sinusitis, VAS scores at Day-7 for pain and discomfort, primary implant stability and time taken were evaluated.Results: The DIHSFE had greater sinus membrane perforations and incidence of nasal bleeding when compared with MIAMBE with (p = 0.066) and (p = 0.141). Post-operative sinusitis was evident in both the groups with (p = 0.619). The mean VAS score was statistically significant between both the groups (p ≤ 0.005). The insertion torque values, and mean time taken for surgical procedure was not statistically significant between groups.Conclusion: The present study highlighted that MIAMBE is superior to DIHSFE in its ability to cause less severe patient morbidities and post-operative complications.Keywords: immediate implants, insertion torque values, Minimally Invasive Antral Membrane Balloon Elevation, postoperative sinusitis, sinus membrane perforation

Healthy Controls: 10 periodontally and systemically healthy subjects. Presurgery Group: 10 systemically healthy subjects with severe chronic generalized periodontitis. Postsurgery Group included Presurgery Group subjects who will undergo periodontal flap surgery. After the periodontal parameters were measured, GCF and saliva samples were collected. Postsurgery Group subjects underwent periodontal flap surgery and both periodontal parameters and GCF and saliva levels were reassessed after 6 months.Results: Presurgery Group showed a higher mean value of plaque index, modified gingival index, probing pocket depth and clinical attachment level when compared to Healthy Controls and it was found to decrease after periodontal flap surgery (Postsurgery Group). Intergroup comparison (Presurgery Group vs Postsurgery Group) of the mean difference of salivary NT-proBNP was found to be statistically significant. GCF levels of NT-proBNP also decreased after periodontal flap surgery but the difference was not statistically significant.Conclusion: NT pro-BNP levels were found to be higher in periodontitis group as compared to the controls. The levels decreased following surgical periodontal therapy, elucidating the role of periodontal treatment on the expression of NT-proBNP as a salivary and GCF marker. Because of this biocidal activity, metals have been widely used as antimicrobial agents in a multitude of applications related with agriculture, healthcare, and the industry in general. A large number of microorganisms live in the human environment. if the balance of these creatures in nature is disturbed, the health of the individual and society will be threatened due to the production and emission of unpleasant odors and the reduction of health standards. The presence of microorganisms on textiles can cause adverse effects such as discoloration or staining on textiles, decomposition of fibrous materials, reduced strength, and eventually decay of textiles. Most fibers and polymers do not show resistance to the effects of microbes and by providing growth factors for microorganisms such as the right temperature and humidity, nutrients from sweat and fat from skin glands, dead skin cells as well as materials used in the stage of finishing the textiles causes the rapid growth and spread of various microbes. With the advent of nanotechnology, various industries and human daily life underwent changes. In recent years, increasing research on nanoparticles has led to the production of textiles with greater efficiency and added value. These modified textiles prevent the spread of unpleasant odors, the spread, and transmission of diseases. This article reviews the basics and principles of antimicrobial tetiles, as well as a brief overview of antimicrobial materials and nanostructures with antimicrobial properties. Resumo Metais como cobre e prata podem ser extremamente tóxicos para bactérias em concentrações excepcionalmente baixas. Devido a esta atividade biocida, os metais têm sido amplamente utilizados como agentes antimicrobianos em uma infinidade de aplicações relacionadas à agricultura, saúde e indústria em geral. Muitos microrganismos vivem no ambiente humano e, se o equilíbrio dessas criaturas na natureza for alterado, a saúde dos indivíduos e da sociedade estará ameaçada devido à produção e emissão de odores desagradáveis e à redução dos padrões de saúde. A presença de microrganismos em têxteis pode causar efeitos adversos, como descoloração ou manchas, decomposição de materiais fibrosos, resistência reduzida e, eventualmente, deterioração. A maioria das fibras e polímeros não apresenta resistência aos efeitos dos micróbios e fornecem fatores de crescimento para os microrganismos, como temperatura e umidade adequadas, nutrientes do suor e gordura das glândulas da pele, células mortas da pele, bem como materiais usados na etapa de acabamento causando crescimento e disseminação de vários micróbios. Com o advento da nanotecnologia, diversas indústrias e o cotidiano humano passaram por mudanças. Nos últimos anos, o aumento da pesquisa em nanopartículas levou à produção de têxteis com maior eficiência e valor agregado. Esses têxteis modificados evitam a propagação de odores desagradáveis, a propagação e a transmissão de doenças. Este artigo analisa os fundamentos e princípios dos têxteis antimicrobianos, bem como uma breve visão geral dos materiais antimicrobianos e nanoestruturas com propriedades antimicrobianas.

Ubiquitous environments are not fixed in time. Entities are constantly evolving; they are dynamic. Ubiquitous applications therefore have a strong need to adapt during their execution and react to the context changes, and developing ubiquitous applications is still complex. The use of the separation of needs and model-driven engineering present the promising solutions adopted in this approach to resolve this complexity. The authors thought that the best way to improve efficiency was to make these models intelligent. That's why they decided to propose an architecture combining machine learning with the domain of modeling. In this article, a novel tool is proposed for the design of ubiquitous applications, associated with a graphical modeling editor with a drag-drop palette, which will allow to instantiate in a graphical way in order to obtain platform independent model, which will be transformed into platform specific model using Acceleo language. The validity of the proposed framework has been demonstrated via a case study of COVID-19.
