The present study was conducted during kharif 2013, kharif 2014 and kharif 2015 at Regional Agricultural Research Station, Lam, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India. The aim of the present investigation was to evaluate four American cotton genotypes and to determine which have the greatest relative values of favourable alleles for the improvement of number of bolls/plant, boll weight (g), 2.5% span length (mm), bundle strength (g/tex), seed cotton yield/plant (g) and lint yield/plant (g) in the elite single cross cotton hybrid (NA 1325 × L 604). Based on the estimates of μG’ values the genotype Surabhi was noted with positive high μG’ value and may be used as source of favourable alleles for improving elite hybrid with respect to quality traits like bundle strength (μG’=1.830*) and 2.5% span length (μG’=1.325*). This improvement may be possible by transferring favourable alleles from Surabhi to NA 1325 through back crossing as it had high genetic affinity with NA 1325. For number of bolls/plant RAH 1004 (μG’=3.230*) and HYPS 152 (μG’=0.302*) for boll weight and both the donors for seed cotton yield/plant (μG’ RAH 1004=13.915*and μG’ HYPS 152=23.972*) may be used as donors as they recorded significant and positive μG’ estimates.

One such modality of non-invasive treatment is Photodynamic Therapy which is used of multiple purposes, as a diagnostic tool for oral lesions, for the management of lesions in the oral cavity caused by the herpes simplex virus (or HSV), to achieve and maintain sterility inside the root canal, for plaque removal, treatment of oral candidiasis, as a tool in the treatment of peri-implantitis and peri-implant mucositis etc. An important part of Photodynamic therapy is Photosensitizer, there are various generations of photosensitizers and various newer advancements with incorporation of nanotechnology and gene therapy , which had been elaborated .

This work discusses hybrid autonomous vehicles that are grounded and aerial vehicles that are utilized to select their course based on their environmental characteristics. It includes algorithms for path planning, obstacle avoidance, and trajectory planning. It also has a microcontroller, known as the PIXHAWK Flight Controller, for various transmissions and configurations. Calibration and testing are performed using Mission Planner software. This article shows the different problematic features of an autonomous vehicle with several functionalities.

Phenylketonuria (PKU) is a phenylalanine catabolism metabolic condition characterized by a decrease in the activity of the phenylalanine hydroxylase or Dihydro pteridine reductase enzyme. This inherited condition causes a build-up of phenylalanine in the bloodstream. Elevated phenylalanine levels in the blood can cause muscle rigidity, choreoathetosis, tremors, hyperreflexia, dermatitis, pale skin, and pseudo-scleroderma. The central nervous system deficiencies in PKU are caused by phenylalanine and phenyl pyruvic acid competing for dopamine, adrenaline, norepinephrine, and serotonin in the brain. Structural changes are caused by neurotransmitter inhibition and phenylalanine and phenyl pyruvic accumulations in the white matter of the posterior periventricular, frontal, and subcortical areas of the brain1. Greater myelin turnover decreased synaptogenesis, and reduced neuronal digenesis ensues from myelin deficit, resulting in cognitive development and mental retardation1. The patient in this case study is an 8-year-old boy who has been diagnosed with phenylketonuria. The patient’s parents had a history of consanguinity marriage. The patient has had seizures since he was nine months old. Speech and language delays, hearing loss, and tooth discoloration are all common symptoms. He had an MRI and a brain scan, as well as a blood amino acids test, which revealed that he has mild developmental delays. Mild to Moderate Autistic Features is Delayed.

Cerebral Venous Sinus Thrombosis is blood clot in draining veins and venous sinuses of brain, causing hindrance in the blood drainage system in brain, disturbing the internal homeostasis of brain, resulting in local oedema, ischemia, venous haemorrhage, damage to brain parenchyma and blood brain barrier. In our case series we discussed 3 cases i.e 37yr/female came with complaints of headache, vomiting and gtcs, NCCT brain was suggestive of SAH without parenchymal involvement, which is a rare nding. Another case 45 year old female presented with complaints of headache and weakness of left upper and lower limb & gtcs, she is a known case of nephrotic syndrome, which is a risk factor for thrombosis. The last case was of 32 years old female, primi-gravida with 36 weeks of gestation came with complaints of headache, blurring of vision, 2-3 episodes of vomiting & gtcs, MRI brain was suggestive of CVT and thus CVT should also be considered as one of the diagnosis apart from eclampsia, meningitis & PRES in pregnancy. An early diagnosis can be very fruitful as it might prevent long term disability and reduce mortality signicantly.

The present research is focused on screening In vivo anti-inflammatory activity using carrageen and formalin induced paw edema model in rodents and In silico approaches like docking studies (mcule), Ramchandran plot (procheck) and PASS. The extract significantly inhibited inflammation caused by carrageenan and formalin at doses of 200 mg and 400 mg/kg body weight which is compared to the the effect of the standard drugs meloxicam and indomethacin. Docking studies for natural compounds were carried out against PDB ID: 2AZ5, PDB ID: 1IBC, PDB ID: 6COX, and PDB ID: 4NOS in order to assess the ligand-binding affinity of the active principles of the extract. The docking results showed that the phytoconstituents from the extract and standard drugs meloxicam and indomethacin had shown highest glide scores with all the selected proteins which indicate a greater affinity for binding between receptor and ligand. From the PASS results the possible interventions of selected active constituents of Alstonia scholaris were found to be anti- inflammatory intestinal, Prostaglandin-E2 9-reductase inhibitor, TNF expression inhibitor, Cyclooxygenase 1 and 2 inhibitors, NOS2 expression inhibitor, and Interleukin1 and 6 antagonists. From the prediction results of adverse effects the constituents like Stigmasterol, Diospyrolide, D-Friedoolean-14-en-3-one and Lupeol acetate were found to be free from any adverse effects. All the constituents of Alstonia scholaris were found to have interventions either as direct targets or possible targets with Histamine H2 receptor, Arachidonate 5-lipoxygenase, Interleukin-1 receptor-associated kinase 3 TNF-alpha, Cyclooxygenase 1, Prostanoid EP2 receptor, Prostaglandin E synthase, and Serotonin 1e (5-HT1e) receptor. From In vivo and In silico results it is evident that ethanolic bark extract of Alstonia scholaris possessed significant anti-inflammatory activity.

In animal models for screening for anticonvulsant activity, it has been scientifically established that medicinal herbs used in traditional medicine for the treatment of epilepsy possess promising anticonvulsant properties and can be a source of newer anticonvulsants. This study's objective was to evaluate the ethanolic root extract of Clitoria ternatea Linn for its preliminary phytochemical components, anticonvulsant, and anxiolytic effects. Anticonvulsant activity was evaluated against Maximum electroshock (MES) induced convulsion and pentylenetetrazole (PTZ)-induced convulsion model in rats. Using phenytoin (25 mg/kg) as a standard drug, the efficacy of the extract at oral dose levels of 200 and 400 mg/kg were evaluated in an experimental rat model. The marble bury test was used to assess the mice for anxiolytic activity, and lorazepam served as the standard drug at a dose of 0.05 mg/kg. Phytochemical screening revealed that C. ternatea extract contain carbohydrates, flavonoids, alkaloids, proteins, triterpenoids, phenols and steroids. Aim: To evaluate anti-hyperlipidemic activity of the whole plant of Gossypium herbaceum extract in Wistar Albino Rats. Methods: The whole plant of Gossypium herbaceum were collected and extracted with methanol by soxhlation. It was tested in Triton and Propylthiouracil (PTU) induced hyperlipidemic rat models and antioxidant hydrogen peroxide radical scavenging assay. Results: Basic phytochemical tests resulted in the presence of flavonoids, terpenoids, steroids, phytosterols, carbohydrates, alkaloids, tannins and phenolic compounds. In rat models of hyperlipidemia induced by Triton and Propylthiouracil (PTU), the anti-hyperlipidemic effect of a methanolic extract of the whole plant of Gossypium herbaceum was studied. MEGH (200 and 400 mg/kg, p.o.) treatment greatly decreased the enhanced serum lipids, restored the decreased HDL compared to disease group. Histopathological examinations showed recovery of the damaged liver cells in Propylthiouracil treated group. The extract's capacity to scavenge free radicals caused by hydrogen peroxide was also measured. Ascorbic acid served as the reference. In the agricultural sector, weed detection and categorization are of critical technical and financial relevance. It is possible to automate various processes, such as shape, colour, and texture, in weed control systems. Building a machine vision weed control system that can locate weeds in real-time is the aim of this article. The system is designed to categorise photos into wide and narrow classes for on-the-fly spraying of selective herbicides. The developed Edge Link Detector-based algorithm has been put to the test on weeds in various areas, and the results have revealed how good the algorithm is at identifying weeds. Additionally, the outcomes demonstrate a very trustworthy performance on weeds under various field circumstances. Over 240 sample photos (wide, narrow, and no or little weeds) including 100 samples from broad weeds, 100 samples from narrow weeds, and the remaining 40 samples from no or little weeds were classified with over 93 percent accuracy, according to the results analysis.

The majority of epileptic patients takes numerous anticonvulsant medications and is still not treated successfully. These medications' produce chronic side effects and drug interactions, which restrict their use, constitute their major drawback. On the other hand, the fact that nature has given us plants that can be used as safe, all-natural treatments for illnesses with little side effects and minimal drug interactions has prompted researchers to focus on herbal remedies with anticonvulsant potential. The antiepileptic potential of the methanolic root extract of Ricinus communis was investigated in rodent models. Molecular docking studies using Schrodinger software was employed to study interactions with active site using PDB ID: 4MS4 (GABA agonist’s), 3WFG (glutamate antagonist), 5HCV (aspartate antagonist), 6J8G (sodium channel antagonist). Moisture is the most limiting factor in the rainfed province like the Ananthapuramu district during the crop critical periods. Weeds are the most phenomenal things that compete with the crops for moisture and worsen the situation. Celosia is one of the major weeds colonized across the district due to continuous rains during the last quarter of the year which is favorable for seed multiplication and became a panic weed causing huge damage. Most of the farmers in the Ananthapuramu district adopted the one-year weeding-Seven Years Seeding concept in an integrated manner and were able to remove the weed seed bank from their farms successfully.

Introduction: Paternal involvement (PI) has been recognized to have an impact on pregnancy and infant outcomes. The mother’s satisfaction during the birthing process is the most frequently reported indicator in the evaluation of the quality of maternity services. Male involvement reduces maternal stress increases uptake of prenatal care leads to cessation of risk behaviours and ensures men’s involvement in their future parental roles from an early stage. The aim of the study is to assess the effectiveness of self instructional module paternal attitude towards perinatal outcome and maternal satisfaction on paternal attitude. Methodology: A cross-sectional study was conducted on 320 expectant fathers attending antenatal clinic. A five point rating scale was used to assess the attitude of paternal on pregnancy and labour outcome and Observational check list to assess the postnatal mother satisfaction. Results: The scores were significantly improved after intervention, in the experiment group, in pre-test, the mean score was 78.61 and the post-test mean score was 120.56, the mean difference is 41.95 whereas, in the control group, the mean score of 79.43 and the post-test mean score was 80.25, the mean difference is 0.82. After self instructional module intervention, in experimental group, 81.88% of them are having satisfied, 18.12% of them are having not satisfied. In control group, 48.75% of them are having satisfied level of score, 51.25% of them are having not satisfied level of score. Conclusion: Most fathers were very positive about their partner’s pregnancy. They, however, need to be motivated to use that knowledge into practice.

Aim of the Study: Pharmacological examination was done for methanolic extract Syzygium alternifolium bark (MESA) for its antihypertensive activity, Angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibition by in vitro and in vivo studies, antioxidant activity via radical scavenging activity. Methods: Albino Wistar rats were allowed to treat with dexamethasone (30 μg/kg/day s.c) or saline for about 14 days. Methanolic extract of Syzygium alternifolium (300 mg/kg, b.w., p.o.) is administered from day 8 to 14 day of study to the treatment group. Chronic fructose treatment in rats showed to increase blood pressure in relationship with insulin blockade. MESA (300 mg/kg b.w, p.o) was capable of preventing the origin of hypertension by diminishing the raised blood levels i.e., blood pressure. Results and Discussion: The decrease in the blood pressure is accredited to the restraint of ACE. The preliminary phytochemical examination suggests that the MESA has alkaloids, flavonoids, glycosides, steroids, sugars, proteins and tannins. MESA exhibited 1, 1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl interrupting radical chain reactions with IC50 value of 12.34 µg/ml just as superoxide radical scavenging ability with IC50 value of 21 µg/ml. The constituents have good binding ability with ACE 1 inhibitor, Calcium channel blocker, and Renin inhibitor proteins and Ramachandran plot is analyzed. Background:Chronic kidney disease [CKD] is associated with specific abnormalities in the thyroid andlipoprotein metabolism both in the early and in the advanced stages of chronic renal failure. Regardless of age, heart disease is a major cause of morbidity and mortality among patients with renal failure.Our study aimed at to estimate thyroidprofile and dyslipidemiain CKD patients on conservative management,on haemodialysisand to compare with healthy controls. Methods:This was a prospective study conducted among the 100 CKD patients and controls over 18 months admitted in the department ofgeneral medicine at our hospital. Results:Hundred CKD cases with 70 male and 30 female in a M: F ratio of 2.3:1 were found to be in different stages CKD (12, 29 and 59 in stage-3 to stage-5 respectively). In 59 cases of stage-5 CKD, 32 were on HD and 27 on conservative management.In each grade of CKD, the mean age, eGFR, urea, creatinine, thyroid profile, and lipid profile were computed individually. The levels of urea, creatinine, and eGFR differed significantly across CKD grades 3-5.The thyroid profile differed significantly across CKD grades 3-5. The lipid profile differed significantly across CKD grades 3-5, with p=0.000, >0.05, 0.000, >0.05, >0.05 for total cholesterol, triglycerides, high-density lipoprotein (HDL), low-density lipoprotein (LDL), and very low-density lipoprotein (VLDL) levels, respectively. Conclusions:The number of patients increases with decreasing T3 and T4 and increasing TSH proportionate to the severity of the renal failure, hypothyroidism is becoming more common in people with chronic renal disease.All lipid abnormalities found in CKD on HD have reduced HDL levels in serum along with significant rise in serum triglyceride, serum cholesterol serum LDL level and serum VLDL level.Dyslipidemia in CKD worsened as patientsprogresssed to severe stages with significant increase in TG, TC, VLDLc and TC/HDLc confirming presence of atherogenic lipid profile needing early intervention to prevent cardiovascular complications.

Interface magnetism and topological structure of Fe on organic semiconductor film (Alq3) have been studied and compared with Fe film deposited directly on Si (100) substrate. To get information on the diffused Fe layer at the Fe/Alq3 interface, grazing incident nuclear resonance scattering (GINRS) measurements are made depth selective by introducing a 95% enriched thin 57Fe layer at the Interface and producing x-ray standing wave within the layered structure. Compared with Fe growth on Si substrate, where film exhibits a hyperfine field value of 32 T (Bulk Fe), a thick Fe- Alq3 interface has been found with reduced electron density and hyperfine fields providing evidence of deep penetration of Fe atoms into Alq3 film. Due to the soft nature of Alq3, Fe moments relax in the film plane. At the same time, Fe on Si has a resultant ~43 deg out-of-plane orientation of Fe moments at the Interface due to the stressed and rough Fe layer near Si. The evolution of magnetism at the Fe-Alq3 Interface is monitored using in-situ magneto-optical Kerr effect (MOKE) during the growth of Fe on the Alq3 surface and small-angle x-ray scattering (SAXS) measurements. It is found that the Fe atom tries to organize into clusters to minimize their surface/interface energy. The origin of the 2.4 nm thick magnetic dead layer at the Interface is attributed to the small Fe clusters of paramagnetic or superparamagnetic nature. The present work provides an understanding of interfacial magnetism at metal-organic interfaces and the topological study using the GI-NRS technique, which is made depth selective to probe magnetism of the diffused ferromagnetic layer, which is otherwise difficult for lab-based techniques.

Flax also known as common flax or linseed, is a flowering plant, Linum usitatissimum, in the family Linaceae. The current study used haloperidol-induced catalepsy and reserpine antagonism to investigate in vivo anti- Parkinson's activity and in silico approaches like docking studies (schrodinger software), Ramchandran plot (procheck), ADME and biological activity score using (molinspiration) online software. The n-hexane extract of Linum usitatissinum (HELU) (flax seeds) exhibited various phytochemical constituents like carbohydrates, lignans, alkaloids, phenolic compounds, flavonoids, fatty acids, coumarin derivatives and sterols. Pharmacological tests were studied at 200 mg/kg bd.wt and 400 mg/kg bd.wt, using in vivo behavioural effects like muscular rigidity, tremors, akinesia, grip strength, and locomotory activity. The experiment was designed by giving haloperidol to induce catalepsy and Reserpne to induce Parkinson’s disease-like symptoms. The increased cataleptic scores were significantly decreased by HELU (200 and 400 mg/kg bd.wt., p.o.) in reserpine antagonism model. Docking studies for natural chemicals against PDB ID: 4I6B, 7JOZ, 4XUD, 4OYX were conducted to better understand the ligand-binding affinity of the extract's active ingredients. The results revealed that D-xylose, D-arabinose, L-rhamnose, L-fucose, hesperidin, herbacetin, β-carboline, isoquinoline, ferulic acid, eicosapentanoic acid, docosahexaenoic acid, beta sitosterol, niacin, aesculetin and standard drug levodopa, carbidopa had shown highest glide scores with all the selected proteins which indicate a stronger receptor-ligand binding affinity. Our findings revealed that Linum usitatissimum n-hexane extract has strong anti Parkinson's action.

Gonadal hormones (oestrogen and progesterone) influences pain sensitivity, the former strongly influences nociceptive actions, whereas the latter prevents neuropathic pain. However, there is only little evidence on direct effect of hormonal based drugs on experimental pain response. Therefore the aim of the present study is to the difference in response to pain stimulus in terms of - pain threshold, pain tolerance, pain intensity, pain unpleasantness between women on OCP pills, normal menstruating women and age matched men using cold pressor test.Total of 50 females (20-35 years age group) on COCP pills, 50 controls (normal menstruating women of 20-35 years age group) and 50 healthy males (20-35 years age group) were enrolled in the study as per the eligibility criteria. Cold pressor test was used as a stimulus source. The participants were instructed to hold their least dominant hand in the water bath (maintained between between 0°C and 2°C) as long as possible and were requested to inform the first sensation of pain which denoted the participants’ pain threshold. Time from pain threshold to the point where participants could no longer cope with pain and indicate stop, was recorded as pain tolerance. At this point participants were directed to note pain intensity and unpleasantness on the visual analogue scale.Statistical analysis of data was done using standard SPSS software. The objective of the study was to examine the compounds which inhibit the enzyme RNA-Dependent RNA-Polymerase (RdRp) of SARS-CoV-2. In this study, we collected 120 similar compounds of Remdesivir, Favipiravir, Novobiocin, and Cortisone inhibitors from PubChem and docked them within the RdRp enzyme using Patchdock/ Firedock server. Seven compounds were screened based on binding affinity and binding mode analysis and further studied the covalent and hydrogen interaction networks using Ligplot+ software. Moreover, the pharmacore properties and bioactivity of the compounds were analyzed with molinspiration cheminformatics software. In this study, we identified the compounds 56832851, 134443512, and 5745 have more binding affinity and mostly covalent/H-bonding interactions occurred with side chain residues Asp161 (B)-Trp187 (B)-Thr367 (A)-Arg377 (A)-Asn387 (A)-Glu588 (A) of RdRp. Furthermore, these three compounds showed up drug-likeness and biologically active, though further in-vitro investigations are needed

Aim: The present study explored the pharmacological and insilico studies of ethanolic seed extract of Chenopodium quinoa. Materials and Methods: The screening of in vivo anti- amnesic activity of the ethanolic seed extract of Chenopodium quinoa was carried out using Actophotometer and Rotarod apparatus. The extract exhibited active constituents like myristic acid, palmitic acid, eicosadienoic acid, pentadecanoic acid, tocopherols, stigmasterol, β-sitosterol, quercetin, benzoic acid, kaempferol, arachidonic acid, benzofuran and 2-bromodecanoic acid. In silico approaches like docking studies (Mcule software) and Ramchandran plot (procheck), online softwares were used in the study to establish mechanism of action of active constituents present in the extract. Results: The extract treated groups at doses (200 mg/kg and 400 mg/kg, bd.wt) showed significant anti-amnesic activity. The basal activity score in actophotometer is as an indicator for impairment of learning and memory. Fall of time by rotarod is used to evaluate learning and memory in rodent models of CNS disorders as in case of amnesia. The results revealed that quercetin, kaempferol, myristic acid, palmitic acid, stigmasterol, lenolenic acid, pentadecanoic acid, tocopherols, arachidonic acid and standard donepezil have got highest glide scores against selected Protein Data Bank (PDB ID): 1EVE, 2FY4, 7CUM and 3EJ8. According to Ramachandran plot a good quality model would be expected to have over 90% in the most favoured region. Proteins like PDB ID: 1EVE, 2FY4, 7CUM and 3EJ8 showed almost 80-90% favoured region which clearly indicates that the selected proteins in the present study are of good quality. Conclusion: Our research unveiled that ethanolic seed extract of Chenopodium quinoa possessed significant anti- amnesic activity.

Developing a low cost, high-efficiency and environmentally friendly approach to synthesize nickel oxide (NiO) nanoparticles (NPs) for biomedical applications has become a research focus in the current scenario. In the present investigation, the NiO NPs were synthesised via a green process using different plant extracts, such as Azadirachta indica (N1), Morinda citrifolia (N2), and Terminalia elliptica (N3). X-ray diffraction (XRD), Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), Energy dispersive x-ray analysis (EDX), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and photoluminescence excitation spectroscopy were used to investigate the evolution of the size, morphology, chemical composition, and surface defect of NiO NPs. The synthesized NiO NPs were exhibited as cubic structures. As compared to conventional antibiotics amoxicillin, Morinda citrifolia (N2) and Terminalia elliptica (N3) medicated NiO nanoparticles, Azadirachta indica mediated NiO (N1) exhibits more antibacterial activity. From the antioxidant activity, the DPPH assay of N1, N2, N3, and vitamin-c samples exhibited free radical scavenging potential. There are increases in the inhibition percentage with increases in the concentrations of these NiO NPs. In addition, the N1 sample demonstrates higher radical scavenging activity than N2 and N3. From the observed results, we believe that Azadirachta indica mediated N1 condition synthesized NiO NPs are very promising biocidal nanomaterials against human pathogens, which will be medically crucial for clinical applications.

Intact atrial septum (IAS), occurring in ∼10% of patients with hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS), conveys significantneonatal morbidity and mortality. Perinatal interventions have been described, but outcomes remain poor. We present a fetus with HLHS with IAS who underwent immediate novel postnatal atrial appendage anastomosis, thus achieving rapid left atrial decompression. (Level of Difficulty: Advanced.).

Diabetes is a chronic metabolic disorder characterized by a high blood glucose concentration, i.e., hyperglycemia or caused by insulin deficiency, often combined with insulin resistance. In the Present study, the antidiabetic and antioxidant activity of the methanolic extract of Tagetes patula flower heads was screened out in rodent models. The pharmacological evaluation was carried out using 200 and 400 mg/kg, b.w. The in-vivo antidiabetic activity was performed in streptozotocin, dexamethasone- induced diabetic models and oral glucose tolerance test. Metformin hydrochloride was used as a standard. The parameters like blood glucose levels, insulin levels, homeostasis assessment of insulin resistance, insulin sensitivity, and fasting glucose-insulin ratio were estimated in these models. The in-vitro antioxidant activity of methanolic extract of Tagetes patula was performed by using hydroxyl radical scavenging assay and Ascorbic acid was used as a standard. The preliminary phytochemical screening of Tagetes patula revealed the presence of phytoconstituents like alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, steroids, phenols, carbohydrates, triterpenoids, and tannins. The extract showed a significant decrease in the elevated blood glucose levels in streptozotocin, dexamethasone-induced diabetic models, and also in the oral glucose tolerance test. The extract prevented insulin resistance and significantly increased insulin sensitivity in the dexamethasone-induced model. The various phytochemical constituents like alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, steroids, and phenols might be responsible for lowering the blood glucose levels in the animal models mentioned above. The extract showed significant scavenging activity against hydroxyl free radicals. From the above outcomes, it is flawless that the methanolic extract of Tagetes patula has antidiabetic and antioxidant activities.

This paper describes a systematic approach to building an intelligent solar Tracking system (ISTS), for improving the performance of solar panels. The ISTS is a hybrid hardware / software prototype, which automatically provides best alignment of solar panel with the sun, to get maximum output (electricity). This method is increasing power collection efficiency by developing a device that tracts the sun to keep the panel at a right angle to its rays.The Embedded solar tracking instrumentation system by using microcontroller. The system consists of Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) sensor, DC motor .Arduino UNO microcontroller is the main component for controlling the system. The solar system will track the location of the sun to ensure the solar panel is always perpendicular with the sun therefore optimizing power output. The operation of the system on sunny and bad weather condition has been presented in this paper. The solar tracking prototype has been stated for future works.

Purpose: The study examines the impact of international trade on economic growth of India by using the Autoregressive Distributive Lag Model (ARDL) technique. The study further adopts Trade Openness Index to analyze the growing integration of India’s external trade with the outside world. Design/Methodology/Approach: The study employs the Augmented Dickey Fuller (ADF) Test for unit root and Autoregressive Distributive Lag Model (ARDL) cointegration approach which entails the Wald Test, Long run OLS estimation test, Error Correction and short Run relationship estimation test, as well as the short run Causality test. The data on the variables of model and Trade Openness Indicator were sourced from the various data sources of the Handbook of Statistics on the Indian Economy and the UNCTAD, World Bank Databases. The Data for the index and the model is collected and analysed for the period of 1991 to 2017. Findings: The analysis of the Augmented Dickey fuller (ADF) test for unit root shows that the series were of different order, I(1) and I(0), hence the Autoregressive Distributive Lag Model (ARDL) co-integration technique was employed by the study. The long run relationship of the underlying variables is detected through the F-statistic (Wald test) which shows that the series are co-integrated. Long run relationship estimates presents a positive and significant relationship between exports and domestic investment with GDP. The analysis presents that the relationship between the variables imports and exchange rate with GDP was found to be negative, but statistically insignificant and the speed of adjustment term (Error Correction Term) was also found to be significant. Short run causality result reveals the presence of short run causality between exports, domestic investment and exchange rate to GDP. Practical Implications: The paper concludes a positive relationship between international trade and economic growth and supports the ideology of mercantilism to encourage exports through trade promotion and increased participation of India in the world markets. Originality/Value: The authors conclude a positive impact of international trade on India’s economic growth and long run relationship estimates present a positive and significant relationship between exports and domestic investment with GDP. Further analysis on implications on bilateral treaties and tariffs would add value to the current study., peer-reviewed

Class imbalance problems have attracted the research community but a few works have focused on feature selection with imbalanced datasets. To handle class imbalance problems, we developed a novel fitness function for feature selection using the chaotic salp swarm optimization algorithm, an efficient meta-heuristic optimization algorithm that has been successfully used in a wide range of optimization problems. This paper proposes an Adaboost algorithm with chaotic salp swarm optimization. The most discriminating features are selected using salp swarm optimization and Adaboost classifiers are thereafter trained on the features selected. Experiments show the ability of the proposed technique to find the optimal features with performance maximization of Adaboost.

An efficient synthetic protocol is presented for accessing 1,4-benzoxazine derivatives from 2-amino phenol derivatives via o-benzoquinones. The key step involves the Diels-Alder reaction between highly reactive o-quinone monoiminewith butyl vinyl ether/thioether to generate various benzoquinone derivatives.

In the present work $Fe^{3+}$ sublattice spin reversal and $Fe^{3+}$ spin-canting across the magnetic compensation temperature ($T_{Comp}$) are demonstrated in polycrystalline $Y_{1.5}Gd_{1.5}Fe_{5}O_{12}$ (YGdIG) by means of in-field $^{57}Fe$ M$\ddot{o}$ssbauer spectroscopy measurements. Corroborating in-field $^{57}Fe$ M$\ddot{o}$ssbauer measurements, both $Fe^{3+}$ & $Gd^{3+}$ sublattice spin reversal has also been manifested with x-ray magnetic circular dichroism (XMCD) measurement in hard x-ray region. Moreover from in-field $^{57}Fe$ M$\ddot{o}$ssbauer measurements, estimation and analysis of effective internal hyperfine field ($H_{eff}$), relative intensity of absorption lines in a sextet elucidated unambiguously the signatures of $Fe^{3+}$ spin reversal, their continuous transition and field induced spin-canting of $Fe^{3+}$ sublattices across $T_{Comp}$. Further, Fe K- (Gd $L_{3}$-) edge XMCD signal is observed to consist of additional spectral features, those are identified from $Gd^{3+}$ ($Fe^{3+}$) magnetic ordering, enabling us the extraction of both the sublattices ($Fe^{3+}$ & $Gd^{3+}$) information from a single edge analysis. The evolution of the magnetic moments as a function of temperature for both magnetic sublattices extracted either at the Fe K- or Gd $L_3$-edge agree quite well with values that are extracted from bulk magnetization data of YGdIG and YIG ($Y_{3}Fe_{5}O_{12}$). High temperature one-dimensional (1D) ferromagnetic (FM) chains in Ca3Co2O6 spin system are subjected to a magnetic field and temperature induced first order phase transition (FOPT) to 3D ferrimagnetic (FIM) ground state with decrease in temperature (T). Weak-FM interaction of third nearest-neighbor(nn) interchain removes the frustration effect arising from antiferromagnetic (AFM) interactions of first-nn and second-nn interchains in the underlying triangular-lattice resulting a 3D FIM ordering of 1D FM chains at low T. However, hindered kinetics of FOPT partially masks this tranformation giving rise to coexistence of non-interacting 1D FM chains with 3D-FIM state at low-T. The existence of all these couplings is further confirmed here by random substitution of S = 5/2 magnetic-impurity into the spin chain of original system. It reveals weakening of FM interactions of both intrachain and third-nn surrounding chains respectively without significant modulation in the AFM coupling of first-nn and second-nn interchains. Thus, influence of AFM interactions is enhanced as compared to effective FM coupling with increase of S = 5/2 impurity content resulting instability of 3D long-range FIM state at low-T.

From the phase diagram as proposed by Lei et.al., [J. App. Phys 101, 084105 (2007)] a $BaSn_{0.15}Ti_{0.85}O_{3}$ is chosen showing a diffuse phase transition between cubic to rhombohedral (C-R) near room temperature. Dielectric analysis confirms a phase transition near room temperature ($T_{C}$ $\approx$ 290 K) and also frequency dispersion in dielectric constant is observed towards low temperature. Polarization and first-order reversal curves (FORC) suggest that the system is in re-entrant phase at low temperatures. Put together, all these electrical characterization results points toward the relaxor behavior in the re-entrant phase. Local probe techniques such as x-ray absorption near edge spectroscopy, Raman and Mossbauer spectroscopy are employed to investigate the local environment changes around this region of low temperature dielectric anomaly. Fused deposition modeling (FDM) is one of the additive manufacturing (AM) methods widely used in many divisions, especially medical implants and aerospace, due to capabilities to build complex 3D objects and geometries. However, quality and dimensional accuracy of the FDM parts are significantly influenced by the various FDM process parameters including filament wire material. In the present work, new filament wire material Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) was utilized to produce FDM parts. Hence, deciding the optimum process parameters is very critical to produce the FDM parts with good surface quality (Ra) and dimensional accuracy (Δd) concurrently using TPU material. In this paper, the author has contributed to determine the optimum 3D printing process parameters to improve the quality and accuracy for the new filament wire material Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) using multi-attribute decision making (MADM) methods namely Gray Relational Analysis (GRA) and technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS). Further, the results of GRA and TOPSIS techniques were compared and concluded that TOPSIS method substantially reduced the surface roughness to a value of 12% contrast to the GRA method whereas the dimensional deviation accuracy increased to 6.25% over the GRA method.

In the present work, two sustainable machining techniques namely Minimum Quantity Lubrication (MQL) and dry machining were investigated during turning of AISI D2 steel material using tungsten carbide tools. Cutting velocity, feed rate and depth of cut were considered as turning process variables whereas cutting temperature, tool rake wear, tool flank wear and surface roughness were taken as turning process performance characteristics for investigation purpose. Based on the obtained results it was found that MQL machining technique significantly controlled the cutting temperature, tool rake wear, tool flank wear and surface roughness values to a maximum of 46%, 22%, 23% and 35% when compared to dry machining condition. It was noticed that MQL cooling technique uses tiny quantity of coolant and contributes for sustainable requirements in present industry. Further, it was observed that more chip entanglement marks as major surface defectives and edge chipping as major tool wear mechanism in dry machining.
