Soft graphs are an interesting way to represent specific information. In this paper, a new form of graphs called Z-soft covering based rough graphs using soft adhesion is defined. Some important properties are explored for the newly constructed graphs. The aim of this study is to investigate the uncertainty in Z-soft covering based rough graphs. Uncertainty measures such as information entropy, rough entropy and granularity measures related to Z-soft covering-based rough graphs are discussed. In addition, we develop a novel Multiple Attribute Group Decision-Making (MAGDM) model using Z-soft covering based rough graphs in medical diagnosis to identify the patients at high risk of chronic kidney disease using the collected data from the UCI Machine Learning Repository.

Healthcare monitoring systems have been one of the most important system in the last decade, and they have become increasingly technological. Humans are facing various issue and untimely death due to multiple illness, due to a lack of medical treatment for patients. To overcome this issue a real time health monitoring system has proposed based on IOT. The proposed system consists of mobile application and GSM for continuous wireless monitoring of patients. The main aim is to create a dependable patient management system based on IoT so that healthcare professionals can monitor their patients who are either hospitalized or at home using an IOT based integrated healthcare system to ensure quality patient care. Sensors are used to track vital parameters, and the data collected by the sensors is sent to the cloud via a WiFi module. A wireless healthcare monitoring system has created that can provide real time online information about a patients conditions. The system is made up of sensors, a data acquisition unit, a microcontroller (i.e. ESP32) and software. The patients temperature, heart beat rate, ECG, blood pressure and SPO2 are regularly monitored, displayed and stored by the system and the same has been sent to the doctors mobile containing the application. Additionally a message is sent to the doctors mobile if any of the parameter crosses the threshold value. Thus, IOT based real time health monitoring system systematically monitor the condition of patients health and save their life on time.

Nanofluids are a class of fluids prepared by dispersing nanoparticles in conventional base fluids. Owing to their excellent thermo-physical properties, nanofluids find potential applications in manufacturing industries. They are introduced to overcome the limitation with using traditional base fluids like water having low thermal conductivity (~ 0.612 W/mK at room temperature). The thermal conductivity of a base fluid is considerably increased by adding a modest number of nanoparticles to it. In the present work, we have prepared silver nanoparticles and nanorods using the simple chemical reduction method. UV–Visible spectroscopy and field emission scanning electron microscopy were used to investigate the optical characteristics and morphology of the produced nanomaterials. Furthermore, the effect of volume loadings of produced nanomaterials (0, 2%, 4%, 6%), as well as temperature on the thermal conductivity of the base fluids was investigated. The results are compared to different silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) loadings in the base fluid. Both silver nanoparticles and nanorods have optimal heat conductivity at 2 vol%. It is interesting to note that fluids with silver nanorods (AgNRs) portrayed better results compared to nanoparticles and the maximum enhancement observed of 78.4% for AgNRs-based nanofluids at temperature 323 K, which is very high when compared to most of the previously reported values. Commercial Zinc Selenide (ZnSe) was explored as an electrode material for aqueous supercapacitor systems. The material was found to have a cubic structure with no impurities and hence as such subjected to the electrochemical properties in a three electrode system. The material was found to deliver a first cycle discharge capacitance of 106 F/g for a current density of 0.125A/g in the wide potential window of -0.8 to 0.5 V. The cycling efficiency of the commercial material was tested at a high current rate of 3 A/g. The material delivered a discharge capacitance of 16 F/g even after 1000 cycles. The used electrode after 1000 cycles was then explored for the photocatalytic efficiency. The dye degradation was about 78.96 % for methylene blue, indicating ZnSe to be a promising material for both the energy and environmental applications.

In this work, Triethanolamine-doped Zinc Oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles were synthesized by chemical deposition, associated with the microwave irradiation method. The synthesized zinc oxide nanoparticles were characterized by Scanning Electron Microscope, X-Ray Diffraction, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy, Ultra Violet - visible spectroscopy, Photo Luminescence Spectroscopy and Antimicrobial Activity. The prepared sample's surface morphology, crystalline size, functional groups, absorbance and band gap, and emission wavelength were calculated. Antimicrobial activity was performed to predict the zone of inhibition of synthesized nanoparticles.

Understanding the physiological and leaf anatomical traits having positive association with higher yields is critical to utilize these traits effectively in breeding programs for yield improvements in stable food crops. In rice, this would help in improving the productivity to feed the ever growing population. Therefore, the experiment was conducted to evaluate the variability and diversity of ninety-nine rice genotypes for photosynthesis, vein-related characters, and yield. The field trial was carried out in a wetland in Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore during Rabi, 2020. To investigate the genetic variability, efforts were made to estimate the percent of genotypic and phenotypic variation, heritability, and genetic advance likewise genetic diversity was estimated for twelve traits using Mahalanobis (D2) statistics. Analysis variance elucidates the existence of significant variation among the genotypes for all the twelve characters studied. The difference between GCV and PCV was narrow for all the characters studied which shows these characters are less influenced by environmental factors. The highest GVC and PCV was observed in yield and biomass simultaneously the high heritability in broad sense along with high genetic advance as percent mean was estimated in biomass, photosynthetic rate, yield, interveinal distance between major vein, leaf width, total number of veins, and total number of minor veins. These characters are considered to be inherent in nature and selection for improving these traits may be effective in the genetic improvement program. Based on the D2 value ninety-nine genotypes were diversified into five clusters in which Cluster II is the largest containing 37 genotypes followed by cluster I. The highest inter-cluster distance was estimated between cluster II and cluster IV whereas the highest intracluster distance was observed in cluster V indicating that genotypes in this cluster are highly diversified. Subsequently, the higher cluster means of most of the characters including vein characters, leaf width, and photosynthetic rate along with optimum yield and biomass fell in cluster II. Whereas in cluster IV the highest cluster means for biomass and yield was recorded. The traits biomass, yield, photosynthetic rate, interveinal distance between major veins, the total number of minor vein is the major contributors of total divergence in this population. Based on the trait contribution percentage for genetic diversity and genetic distance this study suggests that the genotypes from cluster II and cluster IV can be selected as parents for genetic improvement programs. Hence, information on the nature and degree of divergence in this population would help the plant breeder in the selection and hybridization procedure for choosing the right type of parents to improve vein characters, photosynthetic rate, yield, and biomass.

The present study aimed to prepare a novel biosorbent of nanochitosan (NCS)/carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC)/graphene oxide (GO) and used to remove Cu(II) ion from wastewater system. The prepared nanocomposite was characterized using FTIR, XRD and SEM analysis. The FTIR and XRD results revealed the formation of novel NCS/CMC/GO nanocomposite. Rough surface morphology of nanocomposite was confirmed from the SEM analysis results. The removal efficiency of Cu(II) ion was evaluated through batch mode by varying pH, adsorbent dose, contact time and initial metal ion concentration. The maximum removal of Cu(II) ion was 80.1% at pH 4, 92.4% at 360 min contact time and about 89.2% for 3 g adsorbent dose. Theoretical models such as Langmuir isotherm, Freundlich isotherm, and kinetics models were used to evaluate the experimental results. After examining, the results revealed that the adsorption follows Freundlich isotherm and pseudo-second-order models. The adsorption capacity of the prepared nanocomposite was 145.22 mg/g.

Health-care Environment has developed in science and patients require ongoing monitoring of their ECG readings, body temperature, blood pressure (BP), heart rate, and other vital indicators. So, the primary goal of the working model is to use wireless technology to transmit the patient's health parameters to the doctor in case anything is abnormal. All the characteristics will be sensed, even if the patient is unconscious, and relayed to the medical professionals. So, we are proposing an innovative project to dodge such sudden death rates by using Patient Health Monitoring that uses sensor technology and uses the internet to communicate with assistance in case of problems. This system uses Temperature, Spo2, gyroscope, and heartbeat sensors for tracking patients’ health. These sensors are connected to the Arduino-Uno. A microcontroller that tracks the patient's health which is connected to an LCD display and a wireless network to transmit the information to a web server. In case of any abrupt changes in the patient’s heart rate, temperature, or blood oxygen saturation level, an alert message is sent about the patient using IoT. This tracking system also shows patients’ temperature, angular movements, and heartbeat tracked live data with timestamps over the Internetwork. Consequently, the IoT-based patient health tracking system actively monitors patient health through the internet, assists users in keeping an eye on their patients while at work, and perhaps saves lives. technology- based knowledge focused on Wireless-Sensing nodes. Title: Morphometric CT based analysis of cervical pedicle and facet joints in South Indian population. Aim: To evaluate individual morphometric variations of the cervical spine pedicles and facet joints by computed tomography among patients attending a tertiary care centre. Methodology: A retrospective cross-sectional study was carried out among 25 patients undergoing CT study of the cervical spine at Saveetha Medical College and Hospitals, Thandalam. Various measurements of the cervical pedicles and cervical facet joints were obtained and analysed as mean, standard deviation, and range using Statistical Package for the Social Sciencessoftware. Results: Among the 25 subjects, 56% were males and 44% were females with mean age of 59.9 and 55.2 respectively. Pedicle length (PL) and Pedicle height (PH) was comparatively smaller in women than in men. Pedicle isthmus (PI) and Lateral pedicle distance (LPD) of C7 was the greatest in both genders. Pedicle axial length (PAL) was equal in both genders with left side being more than the right. Maximum Superior Pedicle distance (SPD) was found to be at C5 level in both genders. Sagittal angulation showed lesser values in females and the Transverse angulation was the lowest at C7 level in both genders. Facet tropism showed a decreasing pattern from C3 to C7 in both genders. Conclusion: This study helps the surgeon to understand variations in the morphometrics of the study population and will be useful in the determination of a safe treatment modality.

Heavy metal removal from wastewater has become a major environmental concern around the world. The performance of a chitosan-oligosaccharide-based hybrid (chitosan oligosaccharide (COS)/Carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC)/Kaolin clay (KC) ternary blend material prepared in the presence of Glutaraldehyde (Glu) ternary blend material for the adsorptive removal of lead (Pb) from waterwaste was investigated in this study. The structure of COS with amine and hydroxyl groups helps to remove Pb ions. FTIR and X-Ray diffraction were used to characterize of COS/CMC/KC + Glu blend. The removal of ions was assessed using batch adsorption studies, which varied parameters such as the influence of beginning concentration, adsorbent dose, and contact time. The elimination of Pb ions by adsorption was pH-dependent, with a maximum at pH 5. The favorability of the reported experimental values was validated using several theoretical models such as Freundlich and Langmuir isotherms, pseudo-first-order and pseudo-second-order kinetics. The Langmuir isotherm and pseudosecond-order best fitted for the adsorption.

COVID-19 is a pathogenic virus that caused a pandemic outbreak in December 2019. The impact of this virus may be severe in the patients having co-morbidities like diabetes, hypertension, Chronic Kidney Disease, cardiovascular disease, etc. Aim and Objectives: This study Aims in Assessing the impact of COVID-19 on Diabetic and Hypertensive patients as well as COVID-19 patients without any co-morbidities. Objective of this is to evaluate the association between COVID-19 and its risk factors (diabetes and hypertension) and to evaluate whether the severity of the symptoms in COVID-19 patients is due to comorbidities or past medications. Methodology: A Retrospective study was conducted in SRM Hospital (Medical Records Department) for a period of 3 Months with the study population 670 at the age group of 25, known case of Diabetes and Hypertension. Cases of Pregnant women are excluded from the study. The patients were grouped into 4 categories 1) control group (patient without any co-morbidities) 2) diabetic patients 3) Hypertensive patient 4) Diabetic+Hypertension patient and studied their prescribing pattern by collecting the past medication history. Results and Discussion: There is a significant decrease in a lymphocyte in covid-19 Type 2 diabetic patients in our study. These results suggest that different mechanism exists for hypertension and diabetes mellitus as risk factors for covid-19. It is also known that these patients have impaired immune response to many infections [30]. In our retrospective study, we collected 670 covid-19 cases. It consists of 12.5% of diabetic patients and 6.6% of hypertensive patients. This study compared COVID-19 patients without any comorbidity (neither Type 2 diabetes mellitus nor hypertension) with covid- 19 patients with comorbidities (Type 2 diabetes mellitus and hypertension). COVID-19 patients with T2DM have an increased level of D-dimer compared to non-T2DM patients. Conclusion: Diabetic and hypertensive patients affected with COVID-19 are low in our study. Out of the total study population, only 12.5% are diabetic, 6.56% are hypertensive, and 9.25% were both diabetic and hypertensive. But when comparing in terms of severity, hypertensive and diabetic patients have severe effects than the control patients. In simpler terms, not every person who has diabetes and hypertension are affected with COVID-19, but those who were affected by COVID-19 showed more severity than the patients who don't have any comorbidities

A Rangoon creeper flower (RCF) extract was investigated as green inhibitor to mitigate corrosion of mild steel in 1 M HCl solution. In the study, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, polarization techniques, and gravimetric methods were used. A significant reduction in the corrosion rate with increased concentrations of the RCF extract at varied temperatures was noted. The inhibition of the corrosion process is due to the adsorption of the RCF extract on the mild steel surface. Polarization measurements revealed that the RCF extract was an inhibitor of a mixed type. The adsorption of the inhibitor on the mild steel surface followed the Langmuir isotherm. Functional groups present in the RCF extracts were recognized by using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Scanning electron microscopy was applied to examine the surface morphology of mild steel.

Here, we have successfully synthesized single-phase ZnWO4 nanoparticles using a highly effective low-temperature ionic liquid-assisted hydrothermal method at 180 °C for 24 h. TEM images show that agglomerated, irregular-shaped nanoparticles and XRD confirm the monoclinic wolframite phase of ZnWO4 with P2/c space group. The main vibrational modes for ZnWO4 are observed in the IR region from 468 to 880 cm−1 and the optical absorption peaks at 280 nm. Also, photocatalytic degradation was carried out over suspensions of ZnWO4 against Indigo Carmine (IC) dye under UV light irradiation. The effects of various operational parameters were examined and we observed that the degradation efficiency was reached up to 90% within 120 min. Hence, ZnWO4 nanoparticles are proven to be good materials for photocatalytic dye degradation application and the future of the technology. We have successfully synthesized ZnWO4 nanoparticles via ionic liquid-assisted hydrothermal method. The obtained product shows excellent photocatalytic activity against Indigo Carmine (IC) dye solution.
