Microbes are the drivers for disposing of organic solid waste (OSW) during composting. Moreover, humus is a multipurpose biological macromolecule synthesized by microorganisms during composting. Here, we investigated the humification degree (HD), and the humus content was assessed in terms of the bacterial community. Microbial sequencing and bioinformatics approaches were combined to analyze the biological characteristics of 105 composting samples. The bacterial communities were useful indicators for making predictions and even correctly determined the categories of OSWs with 94% accuracy. Furthermore, the bacterial genera screened were designated as a bacterial code. The bacterial codes can also provide a better prediction of HD. Our results suggested that the bacteria code is a reliable biological method to assess HD effectively. Bacterial codes can be used as ecological and biological indicators to evaluate the quality of composting of different materials.

IntroductionIt is believed that ovarian cancer (OC) is the most deadly form of gynecological cancer despite its infrequent occurrence, which makes it one of the most salient public health concerns. Clinical and preclinical studies have revealed that intratumoral CD4+ T cells possess cytotoxic capabilities and were capable of directly killing cancer cells. This study aimed to identify the CD4+ conventional T cells-related genes (CD4TGs) with respect to the prognosis in OC.MethodsWe obtained the transcriptome and clinical data from the Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) and Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) databases. CD4TGs were first identified from single-cell datasets, then univariate Cox regression was used to screen prognosis-related genes, LASSO was conducted to remove genes with coefficient zero, and multivariate Cox regression was used to calculate riskscore and to construct the CD4TGs risk signature. Kaplan-Meier analysis, univariate Cox regression, multivariate Cox regression, time-dependent receiver operating characteristics (ROC), decision curve analysis (DCA), nomogram, and calibration were made to verify and evaluate the risk signature. Gene set enrichment analyses (GSEA) in risk groups were conducted to explore the tightly correlated pathways with the risk group. The role of riskscore has been further explored in the tumor microenvironment (TME), immunotherapy, and chemotherapy. A risk signature with 11 CD4TGs in OC was finally established in the TCGA database and furtherly validated in several GEO cohorts.ResultsHigh riskscore was significantly associated with a poorer prognosis and proven to be an independent prognostic biomarker by multivariate Cox regression. The 1-, 3-, and 5-year ROC values, DCA curve, nomogram, and calibration results confirmed the excellent prediction power of this model. Compared with the reported risk models, our model showed better performance. The patients were grouped into high-risk and low-risk subgroups according to the riskscore by the median value. The low-risk group patients tended to exhibit a higher immune infiltration, immune-related gene expression and were more sensitive to immunotherapy and chemotherapy.DiscussionCollectively, our findings of the prognostic value of CD4TGs in prognosis and immune response, provided valuable insights into the molecular mechanisms and clinical management of OC.

Solid pseudopapillary neoplasm (SPN) of the pancreas is a rare neoplasm that mainly affects young women.To evaluate the impact of parenchyma-preserving surgical methods (PPMs, including enucleation and central pancreatectomy) in the treatment of SPN patients.From 2013 to 2019, patients who underwent pancreatectomy for SPNs were retrospectively reviewed. The baseline characteristics, intraoperative index, pathological outcomes, short-term complications and long-term follow-up data were compared between the PPM group and the conventional method (CM) group.In total, 166 patients were included in this study. Of them, 33 patients (19.9%) underwent PPM. Most of the tumors (104/166, 62.7%) were found accidentally. Comparing the parameters between groups, the hospital stay d (12.35PPM for SPN appears to be feasible and safe for preserving the exocrine function of the pancreas.

Insect wings are subject to strong selective pressure, resulting in the evolution of remarkably diverse wing morphologies that largely determine flight capacity. However, the genetic basis and regulatory mechanisms underlying wing size and shape development are not well understood. The silkworm Bombyx mori micropterous (mp) mutant exhibits shortened wing length and enlarged vein spacings, albeit without changes in total wing area. Thus, the mp mutant comprises a valuable genetic resource for studying wing development. In this study, we used molecular mapping to identify the gene responsible for the mp phenotype and designated it Bmmp. Phenotype-causing mutations were identified as indels and single nucleotide polymorphisms in noncoding regions. These mutations resulted in decreased Bmmp messenger RNA levels and changes in transcript isoform composition. Bmmp null mutants were generated by clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats (CRISPR) / CRISPR-associated protein 9 and exhibited changed wing shape, similar to mp mutants, and significantly smaller total wing area. By examining the expression of genes critical to wing development in wildtype and Bmmp null mutants, we found that Bmmp exerts its function by coordinately modulating anterior-posterior and proximal-distal axes development. We also studied a Drosophila mp mutant and found that Bmmp is functionally conserved in Drosophila. The Drosophila mp mutant strain exhibits curly wings of reduced size and a complete loss of flight capacity. Our results increase our understanding of the mechanisms underpinning insect wing development and reveal potential targets for pest control.

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a universal endocrine and metabolic disorder prevalent in reproductive aged women. PCOS is often accompanied with insulin resistance (IR) which is an essential pathological factor. Although there is no known cure for PCOS, cangfudaotan (CFDT) decoction is widely used for the treatment of PCOS; nevertheless, the underlying mechanism is not clear. In this study, 40 Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats (female) were randomized to 4 groups, namely the control group, PCOS group, PCOS+CFDT group, and PCOS+metformin group. The rats in the control group were fed a normal-fat diet, intraperitoneally injected with 0.5% carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC, 1 mL/kg/d) for 21 days and orally given saline (1 mL/kg/d) for the next 4 weeks. The rats in the PCOS group, PCOS+CFDT group, and PCOS+Metformin group were fed a high-fat diet (HFD) and intraperitoneally injected with letrozole (1.0 mg/kg) for 21 days. During this period, we recorded the body weight, estrous cycles, and rate of pregnancy in all rats. We also observed the ovarian ultrastructure. Blood glucose indices, serum hormones, and inflammatory factors were also recorded. Then, we detected apoptotic and mitochondrial function, and observed mitochondria in ovarian granular cells by transmission electron microscopy. We also detected genes of ASK1/JNK pathway at mRNA and protein levels. The results showed that CFDT alleviated pathohistological damnification and apoptosis in PCOS rat model. In addition, CFDT improved ovarian function, reduced inflammatory response, inhibited apoptosis of granular cells, and inhibited the operation of ASK1/JNK pathway. These findings demonstrate the occurrence of ovary mitochondrial dysfunction and granular cell apoptosis in PCOS. CFDT can relieve mitochondria-dependent apoptosis by inhibiting the ASK1/JNK pathway in PCOS rats.

The developments of hydrogen sources stand at the forefront of asymmetric reduction. In contrast to the well-studied alcohols as hydrogen sources via β-hydride elimination, the direct utilization of the proton of alcohols as a hydrogen source for activator-mediated asymmetric reduction is rarely explored. Herein we report the proton of alcohols as a hydrogen source in diboron-mediated palladium-catalyzed asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of 1,3-diketones and indoles, providing a series of chiral β-hydroxy ketones and indolines with excellent yields and enantioselectivities. This strategy would be useful for the synthesis of chiral deuterium-labelled compounds due to the ready availability of deuterium-labelled alcohols. Mechanistic investigations and DFT calculations revealed that active chiral Pd-H species was generated from the proton of alcohols by activating of tetrahydroxydiboron, hydrogen transfer was the rate-determining step, and the reaction preferred Pd(0)-catalyzed mechanism.

Epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) is the leading killer among women with gynecologic malignancies. Homologous recombination deficiency (HRD) has attracted increasing attention due to its significant implication in the prediction of prognosis and response to treatments. In addition to the germline and somatic mutations of homologous recombination (HR) repair genes, to widely and deeply understand the molecular characteristics of HRD, we sought to screen the long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) with regard to HR repair genes and to establish a prognostic risk model for EOC. Herein, we retrieved the transcriptome data from the Genotype-Tissue Expression Project (GTEx) and The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) databases. HR-related lncRNAs (HRRlncRNAs) associated with prognosis were identified by co-expression and univariate Cox regression analyses. The least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) and multivariate stepwise Cox regression were performed to construct an HRRlncRNA risk model containing AC138904.1, AP001001.1, AL603832.1, AC138932.1, and AC040169.1. Next, Kaplan−Meier analysis, time-dependent receiver operating characteristics (ROC), nomogram, calibration, and DCA curves were made to verify and evaluate the model. Gene set enrichment analysis (GSEA), immune analysis, and prediction of the half-maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50) in the risk groups were also analyzed. The calibration plots showed a good concordance with the prognosis prediction. ROCs of 1-, 3-, and 5-year survival confirmed the well-predictive efficacy of this model in EOC. The risk score was used to divide the patients into high-risk and low-risk subgroups. The low-risk group patients tended to exhibit a lower immune infiltration status and a higher HRD score. Furthermore, consensus clustering analysis was employed to divide patients with EOC into three clusters based on the expression of the five HRRlncRNAs, which exhibited a significant difference in checkpoints’ expression levels and the tumor microenvironment (TME) status. Taken together, the results of this project supported that the five HRRlncRNA models might function as a biomarker and prognostic indicator with respect to predicting the PARP inhibitor and immune treatment in EOC.

Objective: This study aims to explore the relationship between exercise persistence (EA), personal growth initiative (PGI), mindfulness and subjective well-being (SWB), which is beneficial to improve the subjective well-being of college students and promote the development of physical and mental health.Methods: A total of 894 college students (average age =19.51 years, SD = 0.85 years) were sampled by stratified cluster sampling. EA, mindfulness, PGI, and SWB were assessed using standard scales. Data were analyzed by Pearson correlation analysis, structural equation model test and bias-correction percentile Bootstrap method. Results: (1) There was a significant positive correlation between EA and SWB (r= 0.353), and the direct path between EA and SWB was significant (β= 0.592, t = 5.480, p < 0.01). (2) EA positively predicted mindfulness (β= 0.104, t = 8.964, p < 0.01) and PGI (β= 0.251, t = 8.743, p < 0.01); mindfulness positively predicted SWB (β= 0.915, t = 2.775, p < 0.01) and PGI (β= 1.349, t = 16.985, p < 0.01); and PGI significantly positively predicted SWB (β= 1.080, t = 8.924, p < 0.01). (3) Mindfulness and PGI played a significant mediating role in the relationship between EA and SWB. Specifically, the intermediary effect is composed of three path of indirect effect: EA→ mindfulness→ SWB (mediating effect value is 0.095), EA→ PGI→ SWB (mediating effect value is 0.271), EA→ mindfulness→ PGI→ SWB (mediating effect value is 0.152). (4) There is no gender difference in the chain mediation effect.Conclusion: (1) EA performance significantly positively predicts college students' mindfulness, PGI and SWB, which means that EA can promote college students' mindfulness, PGI and SWB; (2) EA can not only directly affect SWB, but also indirectly affect SWB through the separate intermediary role of mindfulness and PGI, as well as the chain intermediary role of both. It further explains the reasons why EA has an effect on College Students' SWB, which is of great significance to improve and intervene college students' SWB.

Background Colon cancer is one of the most common malignancies worldwide, and chemotherapy is a widely used strategy in colon cancer clinical therapy. However, chemotherapy resistance is a major cause of disease recurrence and progression in colon cancer, and thus novel drugs for treatment are urgently needed. Tetramethylpyrazine (TMP), a component of the traditional Chinese medicine Chuanxiong Hort, has been proven to exhibit a beneficial effect in tumors. Aim To investigate the potential anticancer activity of TMP in colon cancer and its underlying mechanisms. Methods Colon cancer cells were incubated with different concentrations of TMP. Cell viability was evaluated by crystal violet staining assay and cell counting kit-8 assay, and cell apoptosis and cell cycle were assessed by flow cytometry. Results TMP significantly inhibited the proliferation of colon cancer cells in a dose- and time-dependent manner. In addition, flow cytometry revealed that TMP induced cell cycle arrest at the G0/G1 phase. TMP treatment caused early stage apoptosis in SW480 cells, whereas it caused late stage apoptosis in HCT116 cells. Conclusion Our studies demonstrated that TMP inhibits the proliferation of colon cancer cells in a dose- and time-dependent manner by inducing apoptosis and arresting the cell cycle at the G0/G1 phase. Our findings suggest that TMP might serve as a potential novel therapeutic drug in the treatment of human colon cancer.

BRAFV600E is the most common mutated gene in thyroid cancer and is most closely related to papillary thyroid carcinoma(PTC). We investigated the value of elasticity and grayscale ultrasonography for predicting BRAFV600E mutations in PTC.Methods138 patients with PTC who underwent preoperative ultrasound between January 2014 and 2021 were retrospectively examined. Patients were divided into BRAFV600E mutation-free group (n=75) and BRAFV600E mutation group (n=63). Patients were randomly divided into training (n=96) and test (n=42) groups. A total of 479 radiomic features were extracted from the grayscale and elasticity ultra-sonograms. Regression analysis was done to select the features that provided the most information. Then, 10-fold cross-validation was used to compare the performance of different classification algorithms. Logistic regression was used to predict BRAFV600E mutations.ResultsEight radiomics features were extracted from the grayscale ultrasonogram, and five radiomics features were extracted from the elasticity ultrasonogram. Three models were developed using these radiomic features. The models were derived from elasticity ultrasound, grayscale ultrasound, and a combination of grayscale and elasticity ultrasound, with areas under the curve (AUC) 0.952 [95% confidence interval (CI), 0.914−0.990], AUC 0.792 [95% CI, 0.703−0.882], and AUC 0.985 [95% CI, 0.965−1.000] in the training dataset, AUC 0.931 [95% CI, 0.841−1.000], AUC 0. 725 [95% CI, 0.569−0.880], and AUC 0.938 [95% CI, 0.851−1.000] in the test dataset, respectively.ConclusionThe radiomic model based on grayscale and elasticity ultrasound had a good predictive value for BRAFV600E gene mutations in patients with PTC.

Single-layer graphene has been proved to be an ideal material for broadband high-speed photodetector. However, the pure graphene photodetector photoresponsivity is limited to tens of mA/W by the low optical absorption and short exciton life of graphene. When higher responsivity is needed, the graphene layer needs to be coupled with other materials, e.g., Titanium Dioxide (TiO2). Conventional TiO2 recipes require either solution or high temperature which tends to destruct the graphene layer. In this work, TiO2 is synthesized by oxygen plasma treating Ti film. This novel synthesis route of TiO2 avoids defects introduced by the conventional recipes. The hybrid device shows a high photoresponsivity of ~ 179 A/W, a fast response time of ~ 20 ms and a specific detectivity of ~ 9.12 × 109 Jones with the incident light intensity of sub-microwatt. Under the illumination, the photon absorption in graphene creates electron–hole pairs, which were separated at TiO2/graphene interface by an internal electric field and corresponding electrons transfer from the graphene to TiO2 layer. The high photoresponsivity is attributed to the long lifetime of the photoexcited charge carriers caused by a built-in field at the interface of TiO2/graphene. Our research provides an effective method to improve the photoresponse of the graphene-based photodetector. In addition, our TiO2 recipe could be applied in the fabrication of other electronic devices where solution or high temperature processes are difficult.

BACKGROUND Recent evidence showed that combining endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) and laparoscopic sentinel lymph node dissection may avoid unnecessary gastrectomy in treating early mucinous gastric cancer (EMGC) patients with risks of positive lymph node metastasis (pLNM). AIM To explore the predictive factors for pLNM in EMGC, and to optimize the clinical application of combing ESD and sentinel lymph node dissection in a proper subgroup of patients with EMGC. METHODS Thirty-one patients with EMGC who had undergone gastrectomy with lymph node dissection were consecutively enrolled from January 1988 to December 2016. Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses were used to estimate the association between the rates of pLNM and clinicopathological factors, providing odds ratio (OR) with 95% confidence interval. And the association between the number of predictors and the pLNM rate was also investigated. RESULTS Depth of invasion (OR = 7.342, 1.127-33.256, P = 0.039), tumor diameter (OR = 9.158, 1.348-29.133, P = 0.044), and lymphatic vessel involvement (OR = 27.749, 1.821-33.143, P = 0.019) turned out to be significant and might be the independent risk factors for predicating pLNM in the multivariate analysis. For patients with 1, 2, and 3 risk factors, the pLNM rates were 9.1%, 33.3%, and 75.0%, respectively. pLNM was not detected in seven patients without any of these risk factors. CONCLUSION ESD might serve as a safe and sufficient treatment for intramucosal EMGC if tumor size ≤ 2 cm, and when lymphatic vessel involvement is absent by postoperative histological examination. Combining ESD and sentinel lymph node dissection could be recommended as a safe and effective treatment for EMGC patients with a potential risk of pLNM.

In this article, the exergy-based modular design is utilized to assess the overall exergy efficiency of the integrated methanol reforming fuel cell (a combination of on-board MeOH-to-H2 processor and proton exchange membrane fuel cell) and improve the 3D modular layout of MeOH-to-H2 processor. It is noted that the preheating system improvement can save installation space as well as increase the overall exergy efficiency. Finally, the 3D modular layout of the new integrated methanol reforming fuel cell (IMRFC) installed into the BMW vehicle chassis demonstrates that this IMRFC vehicle could become a feasible option as compared to the 2016 Toyota Mirai hydrogen fuel cell vehicle.

Gastric cancer (GC) is lethal and there is an urgent need for improved understanding of this disease. Recent studies have reported that microRNAs (miRNAs) play increasingly important roles in the regulation of GC. In this study, we explored the target genes and effects of miR-7641 in GC. Our data showed that high miR-7641 expression was associated with low expression of ARID1A in GC tissue. miR-7641 expression promoted GC cell proliferation and colony formation. Luciferase reporter assay results confirmed that ARID1A was a target gene of miR-7641. Furthermore, downregulation of ARID1A expression caused a significant increase in GC cell proliferation. In vivo depletion of miR-7641 reduced tumor volume and weight and increased ARID1A and Ki67 expression as well as a decreased terminal-deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated nick end labeling in mouse tumor tissues. Conversely, ARID1A silencing reversed the suppressive effects of miR-7641 inhibitors on GC cells. Overall, these findings indicate that miR-7641 is a promising novel prognostic biomarker of GC and may represent a novel target for clinical management of GC.

The microstructure evolution and strengthening mechanisms of Mg–10Gd–1Er–1Zn–0.6Zr (wt.%) alloy were focused in the view of the size parameters and volume fraction (fp) of dual phases (long period stacking ordered (LPSO) structures and β′ precipitates). Results show that two types of LPSO phases with different morphologies formed, and the morphology and size of both LPSO phases varied with the solution conditions. However, the volume fraction decreased monotonously with increasing solution temperature, which in turn raised the volume fraction of β′ phase during aging. The alloy exhibited an ultimate tensile strength of 352 MPa, a yield strength of 271 MPa, and an elongation of 3.5% after solution treatment at 500 °C for 12 h and aging at 200 °C for 114 h. In contrast to the LPSO phase, the β′ phase seems to play a more important role in enhancing the yield strength, and consequently, a decreased fLPSO/fβ′ ratio results in an increased yield strength.

An extruded Mg−4Zn−0.2Mn−0.2Ca alloy was developed as potential biodegradable bone-plate due to its excellent biocompatibility. Long term in vitro immersion in Hank's solution and bending test were used to evaluate the degradability and the mechanical integrity of the alloy. The results revealed that the degradation rate of the bone-plate increased in the first 7 days and then decreased with the prolonged immersion time before it finally reached a steady stage (about 0.84 mm/a) after immersion for 90 days. The bending strength after immersion for 60 days was 67.6 MPa, indicating that the bone-plate could support certain mechanical load after long term degradation. The formation of corrosion pits after degradation stemmed from the separation of the continuously distributed second phases from Mg matrix under the action of micro-galvanic couples. As a result, the mechanical performance of Mg−4Zn−0.2Mn−0.2Ca alloy was aggravated owing to the corrosion holes on its surface.

Following the detection of the first human case of avian influenza A subtype H9N2 in 1998, more than 40 cases were diagnosed worldwide. However, the spread of the virus has been more remarkable and significant in global poultry populations, causing notable economic losses despite its low pathogenicity. Many surveillance studies and activities conducted in several countries have shown the predominance of this virus subtype. We present the case of a 14-month-old female in Oman with an A(H9N2) virus infection. This is the first human case of A(H9N2) reported from Oman and the Gulf Cooperation Countries, and Oman is the second country outside of southern and eastern Asia to report a case (cases have also been detected in Egypt). The patient had bronchial asthma and presented with a high-grade temperature and symptoms of lower respiratory tract infection that necessitated admission to a high dependency unit in a tertiary care hospital. It is of urgency that a multisector One Health approach be established to combat the threat of avian influenza at the animal–human interface. In addition to enhancements of surveillance and control in poultry, there is a need to develop screening and preventive programs for high-risk occupations. In statistical analysis, oftentimes a probability density function is used to describe the relationship between certain unknown parameters and measurements taken to learn about them. As soon as there is more than enough data collected to determine a unique solution for the parameters, an estimation technique needs to be applied such as “fractional calculus”, for instance, which turns out to be optimal under a wide range of criteria. In this context, we aim to present some novel estimates based on the expectation and variance of a continuous random variable by employing generalized Riemann-Liouville fractional integral operators. Besides, we obtain a two-parameter extension of generalized Riemann-Liouville fractional integral inequalities, and provide several modifications in the Riemann-Liouville and classical sense. Our ideas and obtained results my stimulate further research in statistical analysis.

Non-syndromic cleft lip and/or palate (NSCL/P) is a common maxillofacial birth defect, and the etiology of which is complex and still unclear. Accumulating studies indicate that long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs) and microRNAs(miRNAs) play important roles in NSCL/P. However, the potential regulatory associations remain largely unknown. In this study, we screened differentially expressed miRNAs and constructed competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) networks to lay a foundation for further research on the regulatory mechanism of ncRNAs in NSCL/P.NSCL/P plasma RNA was analyzed by miRNA sequencing. The bioinformatics database, GEO and STRING database, GO and KEGG enrichment analysis and Cytoscape software were used to analyze and screen lncRNAs and mRNAs potentially related to differential miRNAs. The expression levels of lncRNA, miRNA and mRNA in ceRNA network were detected by RT-qPCR.In NSCL/P plasma samples, there were 47 differentially expressed miRNAs in CPO group and 36 differentially expressed miRNAs in CL/P group. GO and KEGG enrichment analysis showed that cell cycle, cell response to DNA damage stimulation, and the TGF-βsignaling pathway were relevant to the formation of NSCL/P. The RT-qPCR results showed that the expression levels of lncRNA NEAT1, hsa-miR-130 b-3p, hsa-miR-212-3p, hsa-miR-200 b-3p and SMAD2 were different in NSCL/P.We found that differentially expressed miR-212-3p, miR-200 b-3p and miR-130 b-3p may be involved in the pathogenesis of cleft palate by regulating related target genes.

Gastric cancer (GC) is considered as one of the most widespread malignancies. Emerging evidence has shown that lncRNAs can function as important oncogenes or tumor suppressors during GC progression.To investigate the effect and mechanism of lncRNA cancer susceptibility 20 (CASC20) in the proliferation and metastasis of GC cells.Data mining and clinical samples were used to evaluate the expression of CASC20 in GC and adjacent tissues. CASC20 was down-regulated in GC cells by short-interfering RNA. Cell proliferation was evaluated by CCK-8 assay, and cell migration and invasion were detected by wound healing and Transwell assays. The expressions of proteins related to epithelial-mesenchymal transition were detected by western blot assay.The expression of CASC20 was increased in GC tumor tissues and various GC cell lines. High CASC20 expression was correlated with a high risk of lymphatic metastasis and poor prognosis in GC patients. In vitro assays showed that silencing CASC20 reduced cell proliferation, migration, and invasion in GC cells. Mechanistic studies revealed that CASC20 exhibits oncogenic functions by regulating MEMO1 expression through competitive endogenous binding to miR-143-5p, leading to induction of epithelial-mesenchymal transition.Our findings indicate that CASC20 serves as a tumor promoter by regulating metastasis in GC

Electrostatic induction charge which generated by the coupling effect of hybrid electric field of AC/DC cross line and metal object under the transmission line can cause different levels of electric shock injury to human. In order to find out the distribution law of the hybrid electric field and reduce the effect of electrostatic induction, this paper set up shielding lines which paralleled to the AC and DC lines respectively on the outside of the side conductors and along the diagonal of parallelogram at crossing point, then measured the electric field distribution in shielding areas of 750kV AC and 500kV DC lines and the induced voltages of shielding lines in different states, analyzed the effect of shielding line on power frequency electric field and DC composite electric field. The results showed that shielding lines have a reducing effect on the hybrid electric field of the cross lines, the average power frequency field strength is reduced by 12.6%, the DC composite field and power frequency electric field at the crossing position was far less than the limits specified in the respective standards. Both induced voltage of bare lines and shielding lines wrapped with adhesive tape increase with the raise of erection height. Under the same conditions, the average induction voltage of bare conductor is 9.3% higher than that of shielding lines wrapped with adhesive tape. There is no obvious difference between parallel and vertical erection methods of the same number of shielding lines in the degree of reduction of induced voltage.

Background: Microbe is the driver for disposing of organic solid waste (OSW) during aerobic fermentation. Notwithstanding, the significance of microbe is always underestimated in numerous preceding studies about the aerobic fermentation products assessment. Results: Here, we investigate the humification degree (HD) and humic acid content could be assessed in terms of the bacterial community. Microbial sequencing and bioinformatics approaches are combined to analyze the biological characteristics of 105 aerobic fermentation samples collected. The bacterial communities could make predictions, which even correctly determines the categories of OSWs with 94% accuracy. Furthermore, the bacterial genera screened are designated as the bacterial code, which is substituted into the Random forest model to predict HD. And the bacteria codes can also provide a better prediction of the HD. Conclusions: Our result suggested that bacteria codes a reliable biological method is proposed to assess HD effectively. Our experiment not only proves that the aerobic fermentation can be revealed by biological means. The bacterial codes can also be used as an ecological and biological indicator to evaluate the quality of the aerobic fermentation of different materials. This study further provides new insights on the use of microbe to evaluate the content of various substances during the degradation process of OSWs.

Reactive material projectiles can be an extremely efficient lethality enhancement technology that incorporates the defeat mechanisms of chemical energy and kinetic energy. This paper presents such a research on the enhanced ignition behavior of reactive material projectiles impacting a fuel-filled tank. Firstly, the ignition process description of the fuel-filled tank impacted by inert metal and reactive material projectiles is presented. Secondly, ballistic impact experiments are performed to investigate the ignition effects of the fuel-filled tank impacted by reactive material versus tungsten alloy projectiles with mass matched. The fuel tank used for the experiments is a cylindrical steel casing structure filled with aviation kerosene and sealed with aluminum cover plates on both ends using screw bolts. The experimental results indicate that, compared with impacts from tungsten alloy projectiles, there is dramatically enhanced structural damage to the fuel-filled tank and an enhanced ignition effect caused by reactive material projectile impacts. Finally, an analytical model is developed, by which the effects of the aluminum cover plate thickness on critical structural failure energy of the fuel-filled tank and the total energy of the reactive material projectile deposited into the fuel-filled tank are discussed.
