Paramanicapsocus xingyuei Liang sp. n. (Figs 1–25) Diagnosis. Male and female macropterous. Head bearing setae. Antennae elongate, with fifteen antennomeres. Wings hyaline, with well-developed venation. Forewing pterostigma present; R two-branched; M three-branched or two-branched; areola postica (ap) cell present, similar to pterostigma in shape. Hindwing M two-branched; A two-branched. Terminalia: clunium, epiproct, paraproct and hypandrium simple. Male phallosome not visible. Female gonapophyses robust, external valve broad and rounded with hook-like tip, dorsal valve curved, ventral valve with a sharp tip. This new species can be distinguished from P. longiantennatus based on the hindwing vein M two-branched and the female gonapophyses with robust external valves. Description. Male (Figs 1–18). Head (Figs 5–6) bearing numerous setae. Compound eyes and ocelli bulged. Coronal suture visible, frontal suture not visible. Antennae elongate, setose; flagellum with 13 flagellomeres, and secondary annulations. Postclypeus bulged, epistomal suture distinct. Lacinia (Fig. 7) with bifurcate tip. Maxillary palps (Fig. 7) four-segmented, bearing setae, mx4 equal to mx2, longer than mx1 and mx3, mx4 with a group of short sensory setae on tip. Labial palps (Fig. 7) one-segmented, broad. Thorax. Prothorax narrow and short, meso- and metathorax robust. Wings (Figs 8–11). Forewing elongate, partly bearing setae, all veins and whole margin with dense setae. Pterostigma present, with curved posterior margin. Subgenital plate simple, and strongly sclerotized; a pair of sclerotized regions on the sternum before subgenital plate. Gonapophyses visible, external valve broad and rounded with hook-like tip, dorsal valve curved, ventral valve with a sharp tip. Measurements (in microns). The new species is dedicated to Prof. Xingyue Liu for his support and contributions to the study of Psocodea from China. Remarks. This new species belongs to the genus Paramanicapsocus based on the body bearing setae, the long antenna, mx4 with a group of short sensilla on the tip, part of forewing bearing dense setae, the ap cell similar to the pterostigma in shape, the in-flight wing-coupling structure brush-shaped, the 1 st tarsomere longer than 2 nd plus 3 rd tarsomeres, 1 st hind tarsomere with one row of ctenidiobothria, and the seta-shaped pulvillus. This new species shares many diagnostic characteristics with the type species P. longiantennatus, and can be distinguished from the latter by the hindwing M two-branched. In this new species, females display similar body morphologies as males, except for the forewing M and the terminalia. The females have M two-branched on forewing, while the males have M three-branched. In some previous studies on the Psocodea from Cretaceous amber, the intraspecific variations of venation were described, i.e., Concavapsocus parallelus Wang et al., 2019 and Psyllipsocus yangi Liang & Liu, 2021. The above variations in the two species are regarded as abnormal because the venations are asymmetric on wings. Hakim et al. (2020) described an abnormality in the venation of P. longiantennatus: one of the forewings has M two-branched instead of three in the paratype NIGP169669. In the present study, we consider the variable forewing M to be normal in Paramanicapsocus xingyuei sp. n. because of the symmetric venations on wings in every individual. It seems that this characteristic is sex-linked in this new species. However, we cannot confirm it is common in the genus Paramanipsocus. More materials will be helpful to understand this phenomenon in the future. The discovery of this new species increases our knowledge of the diversity of the genus Paramanicapsocus from Cretaceous amber. This new species is the second species of Paramanicapsocus, and the fifth species of the family Manicapsocidae from Cretaceous Burmese amber.Although Paramanicapsocus is tentatively placed into the family Manicapscoidae, the placement of Manicapsocidae and the phylogenetic relationship within the infraorder Amphientometae remain controversial up to now. The neotropical Apicotermitinae is a common and widespread clade of mostly soil-feeding soldierless termites. With few exceptions, species of this group were originally assigned to the genus Anoplotermes Müller, 1873. The application of internal worker morphology coupled with genetic sequencing has recently shed light on the true diversity of this subfamily. Herein, Anoplotermes susanae Scheffrahn, Carrijo & Castro, sp. nov. and four new species in four new genera are described: Hirsutitermes kanzakii Scheffrahn, Carrijo & Castro, gen. nov. et sp. nov., Krecekitermes daironi Scheffrahn, Carrijo & Castro, gen. nov. et sp. nov., Mangolditermes curveileum Scheffrahn, Carrijo & Castro, gen. nov. et sp. nov., and Ourissotermes giblinorum Scheffrahn, Carrijo & Castro, gen. nov. et sp. nov. Worker descriptions are based mainly on worker gut morphology, including the enteric valve, while imagoes were described based on external characters. A Bayesian phylogenetic tree of New World Apicotermitinae was constructed using the complete mitogenome to infer genera relationships and corroborate the taxonomic decisions. Distribution maps and a dichotomic key to the known Neotropical Apicotermitinae genera are provided.

This paper tackles the purely unsupervised person re-identification (Re-ID) problem that requires no annotations. Some previous methods adopt clustering techniques to generate pseudo labels and use the produced labels to train Re-ID models progressively. These methods are relatively simple but effective. However, most clustering-based methods take each cluster as a pseudo identity class, neglecting the large intra-ID variance caused mainly by the change of camera views. To address this issue, we propose to split each single cluster into multiple proxies and each proxy represents the instances coming from the same camera. These camera-aware proxies enable us to deal with large intra-ID variance and generate more reliable pseudo labels for learning. Based on the camera-aware proxies, we design both intra- and inter-camera contrastive learning components for our Re-ID model to effectively learn the ID discrimination ability within and across cameras. Meanwhile, a proxy-balanced sampling strategy is also designed, which facilitates our learning further. Extensive experiments on three large-scale Re-ID datasets show that our proposed approach outperforms most unsupervised methods by a significant margin. Especially, on the challenging MSMT17 dataset, we gain $14.3\%$ Rank-1 and $10.2\%$ mAP improvements when compared to the second place. Multi-grained features extracted from convolutional neural networks (CNNs) have demonstrated their strong discrimination ability in supervised person re-identification (Re-ID) tasks. Inspired by them, this work investigates the way of extracting multi-grained features from a pure transformer network to address the unsupervised Re-ID problem that is label-free but much more challenging. To this end, we build a dual-branch network architecture based upon a modified Vision Transformer (ViT). The local tokens output in each branch are reshaped and then uniformly partitioned into multiple stripes to generate part-level features, while the global tokens of two branches are averaged to produce a global feature. Further, based upon offline-online associated camera-aware proxies (O2CAP) that is a top-performing unsupervised Re-ID method, we define offline and online contrastive learning losses with respect to both global and part-level features to conduct unsupervised learning. Extensive experiments on three person Re-ID datasets show that the proposed method outperforms state-of-the-art unsupervised methods by a considerable margin, greatly mitigating the gap to supervised counterparts. Tetrichina fuscovinclum Wang & Bourgoin, sp. nov. ZooBank registration: LSID urn:lsid:zoobank.org:act: 97DD3616-423A-48A4-B750-84D596841EC6 (Figs 10–24) Diagnosis. This new species is similar to Tetrichina trihamulata Chang & Chen, 2020 in general appearance (both collected from Hainan province of China), but differs by: 1) Frons with two large white markings in the middle area (Fig. 13), but without these markings in T. trihamulata (Chang et al., 2020, fig. 32); 2) The bidirectional hooked process of periandrium much smaller, around 1/4 length of periandrium (Fig. 17), while around 3/4 length of periandrium in T. trihamulata (Chang et al., 2020, fig. 38). Etymology. Combination of Latin words “ fuscus ” (meaning dark) and “ vinclum ” (meaning chain), referring to the brownish transverse markings on forewing. Gender: neutral. Description. Length: male (including forewings) (N=1): 5.2 mm; female (including forewings) (N=1): 5.6 mm. Coloration. Vertex light yellowish brown, anterior and lateral margins carinated and brown, vertex with two large obscure light brownish markings near base (Figs 10, 12). Compound eyes grey, supported by yellowish-brown callus (Figs 10, 12). Frons light yellowish brown, white at base, median area with one white transverse marking on each side of median carina (Fig. 13); apical and lateral margins carinated and brown, median carina tawny which extending from apex to frontoclypeal sulcus, sublateral carinae brown at apical 1/3 and light yellow at basal 2/3 (Fig. 13); lateral areas with unobvious nearly white tubercles enlarged from apex to base (Fig. 13). Antennae brown, with several grey spots (Fig. 13). Postclypeus dorsal half part light yellow and ventral half part brown, with a short white median carina near frontoclypeal sulcus (Fig. 13). Genae light brown, in lateral view with one light yellow transverse fascia below compound eyes on each side (Fig. 11). Pronotum light brown, anterior and posterior margins carinated and light brown (Figs 10, 12); median area light yellow, lateral areas with several inconspicuous grayish tubercles (Figs 10, 12). Mesonotum light yellowish brown, median and lateral carinae all light yellow (Figs 10, 12). Forewings light brown, longitudinal and transverse veins all brown; forewing with two brownish markings respectively from basal 1/4 and 1/2 of costal margin extending to middle surface of forewing on each side (Figs 10, 11). Hindwings grayish (Fig. 10). Legs grayish, with tip of spines black (Fig. 11). Head and thorax. Vertex 1.5 times wider in width at middle than length at middle, the angularly protruding level of anterior margin stronger than in T. trihamulata, posterior margin inverted V-shaped (Figs 10, 12). Frons 1.0 times wider at widest part than long in midline, 1.4 times wider at widest part than apical margin (Fig. 13). Pronotum 3.1 times wider in posterior margin than long in midline, 1.0 times longer in midline than vertex (Figs 10, 12). Mesonotum with anterior margin 1.5 times wider than long in midline, 2.0 times longer in midline than pronotum, with an elevated transverse carina on disc (Figs 10, 12). Metatibiotarsal formula: 8-10-2. Male genitalia. Anal tube in lateral view extremely long and narrow, reaching to posterior margin of gonostyli (Fig. 14); in dorsal view long cylindrical, 1.8 times longer in midline than widest part, widest at apical 1/3, then narrowing to base, apical margin round arc-shaped; anal opening located at basal 1/3 of anal tube (Fig. 15). Pygofer in lateral view broad, dorsal margin straight, anterior and posterior margins sinuate, convex at the same level, posterior margin slightly convex to caudad at middle (Fig. 14). Gonostyli polygonal in lateral view, highest at middle, then narrowing from middle to apex, dorsal margin sloping up then parallel with ventral margin near middle, posterior margin strongly concave in apical 1/3, basal 2/3 strongly protruded caudad with caudo-ventral angle rounded (Figs 14, 16). Capitulum of gonostyli very long and slender, apical part curved and directed cephalad, latero-posterior margin with an auriform process at middle, the anterior margin of auriform process not reaching to the anterior margin of capitulum (Figs 14, 16). Periandrium near apex with pair of bidirectional hooked processes extending 1/4 length of periandrium, this processes broad, with caudal hook apically rounded, anterior hook sharp, and distinctly concave between (Fig. 17); from ventral view these processes curved outward (Fig. 18). Aedeagus with pair of extremely long and slender processes originated from apical ventral part, extending along ventral margin of periandrium, then curved upward near middle reaching almost to the base of dorsal margin of periandrium, tip of these processes pointed (Fig. 17); in ventral view sinuately curved (Fig. 18). Female genitalia. Anal tube in dorsal view long cylindrical, 2.4 times longer at midline than widest part, apical margin rounded, lateral margins paralleled, anal opening near base (Fig. 19). Gonoplacs in dorsal view very broad, broadest in basal 1/3, median part membranous, fused in middle near base (Fig. 20); in lateral view rounded (Fig. 22). Posterior connective lamina of gonapophysis IX in lateral view long and narrow, boat-shaped, dorsal margin slightly convex near base and middle, apical part sloping to caudad with a sharp process at apex of ventral margin (Fig. 23); in ventral view gonapophysis IX very narrow and clavate, median area membranous and bifurcated at basal 1/3, posterior ventral lobes sharp at apex (Fig. 21). Gonospiculum bridge large, triangular in lateral view (Fig. 23). Anterior connective lamina of gonapophysis VIII triangular, with four keeled teeth in lateral group and three teeth at apex, inner lateral margin without teeth (Fig. 24). [valid name] Nikomiklukha maculifrons (Wang, Zhang & Bourgoin, 2019): Gnezdilov (2020): 1302 [error] Sarimissus and Nikomiklukha differ by several morphological characters of generic value that allow us to regard them without any hesitation as two different taxa. In dorsal view, the vertex is around 1.5 times wider than long in Sarimissus, while it is longer than broad in Nikomiklukha (Gnezdilov, 2010: fig. 8). In frontal view, the head capsule is definitively much wider in Sarimissus than in Nikomiklukha and the frontal lateral carinae are much developed and foliated. In the hindwing, the apex of Pcu and A1 1 is single while it is bifurcated in Nikomiklukha (Gnezdilov, 2010: fig. 13). The male genitalia are also different with gonostyli longer than wide in Sarimissus while wider than long in Nikomiklukha (Gnezdilov, 2010: fig. 31), and with male genitalia ventro-lateral processes being subapical and convex in ventral view in Sarimissus, while situated in mid part and concave in Nikomiklukha (Gnezdilov, 2010: figs 28, 29). To avoid any confusion with Nikomiklukha, these characters should be added to the diagnosis already published for the genus Sarimissus Wang, Zhang & Bourgoin, 2019. Tribe Sarimini Wang, Zhang & Bourgoin, 2016 The tribe Sarimini was placed in doubt by Gnezdilov et al. (2020) who depicted them as a polyphyletic group with the two genera Euroxenus and Darwalli a Gnezdilov, 2010, excluded from Sarimini. Currently and versus Gnezdilov et al. (2020), we still recognize the tribe Sarimini as a monophyletic and valid group, as well as the clade Hemisphaeriinae, which is not invalided according the results of Gnezdilov et al. (2020).

Tetrichina Chang & Chen, 2020 Type species: Tetrichina trihamulata Chang & Chen, 2020 Diagnosis and original description. See Chang et al., 2020: 39. Supplementary description. Description Forewing (Figs 1–2) 2.6 times as long as wide, wider before mid-length: 4.04 mm long, 1.63 mm wide before mid-length at MP forking level. Basal cell (bc) short, 0.29 mm long. Sarimissus maculifrons sp. nov. (Figs 1���11) Diagnosis. This new species appears similar to Eusarima contorta Yang, 1994, but differs by: 1) Frons with a pair of curved eyelike markings on the disc (Fig. 4), but the latter species without these eyelike markings (Chan & Yang,1994, fig. 45B); 2) Capitulum of gonostylus thick and short, with tip obtuse (Fig. 9), but long and slender, with tip acute in E. contorta (Chan & Yang, 1994, fig. 45E); 3) Aedeagus with a pair of short hook-like processes (Fig. 10), but the latter species with a pair of extremely long processes (Chan & Yang, 1994, fig. 45H). Etymology. This species name is a combination of Latin words ��� macula ��� and ��� frons ���, referring to the light yellowish M-shaped markings on the frons. Description. Length: male (including forewings) (N=4): 5.1���5.2 mm. Coloration. Vertex brown, anterior, lateral and posterior margins all brown (Figs 1, 3). Compound eyes grayish brown, supported by grayish callus (Figs 1, 3). Frons brown, with an obvious light yellowish M-shape eyelike marking on the middle and some irregular yellow patches near base (Fig. 4); median carina brown from apex extending to near base, but not reaching to the frontoclypeal suture (Fig. 4); apical margin and lateral margins brown (Fig. 4). Antennae brown (Fig. 4). Postclypeus mainly brown, with light yellow near the base (Fig. 4). Gena brown, with one light yellow transverse fascia below compound eyes in lateral view (Fig. 2). Pronotum brown, anterior and posterior margins brown, median carina brown, only visible at middle (Figs 1, 3). Mesonotum brown, median and sublateral carinae all brown (Figs 1, 3). Forewings tawny to brown, longitudinal veins brown (Figs 1, 5). Hind wings brown (Fig. 6). Legs tawny, distributed with irregular brownish markings (Figs 2, 4). Head and thorax. Vertex 1.5 times wider in midline than long in midline, lateral margins nearly parallel, slightly concave at middle (Figs 1, 3). Frons 1.0 times wider at widest part than long in midline, 1.6 times wider at widest part than apical margin (Fig. 4); lateral margins nearly parallel from the apex to the middle of compound eyes, then expand to below antennae and finally narrow to the base (Fig. 4); sublateral carinae weakly present or invisible (Fig. 4). Pronotum 3.0 times wider at posterior margin than long in midline, 1.0 times longer in midline than vertex (Figs 1, 3); median carina weakly present or absent, with a small incision on each side of midline (Figs 1, 3). Mesonotum with anterior margin 1.8 times wider than long in midline, 1.7 times longer in midline than pronotum, median carina visible from anterior margin elevated to the basal 1/4, sublateral carinae elevated from anterior margin to the posterior margin (Figs 1, 3). Duplexissus punctatulus sp. nov. (Figs 12���22) Diagnosis. This new species is similar to Eusarima delira Yang, 1994, but differs by: 1) Dorsal margin of gonostylus strongly convex, elevated on apical 1/3 (Figs 18, 20), but very slightly convex in E. delira, nearly straight (Chan & Yang, 1994, fig. 47E); 2) Capitulum of gonostylus short and broad (Figs 18, 20), but long and narrow in E. delira (Chan & Yang, 1994, fig. 47E); 3) Phallic complex with two pairs of long processes directed to cephalad, one of it dentated (Fig. 21), but in E. delira, phallic complex with a pair of long process directed to cephalad and a pair of long process directed to caudal, all the processes without teeth (Chan & Yang, 1994, fig. 47H). Etymology. The name ��� punctatulus ��� refers to the numerous yellowish punctuate markings on the frons. Description. Length: male (including forewings) (N=4): 4.3���4.5 mm. Coloration. Vertex tawny, margins brown; with two inconspicuous brownish circular markings near base (Figs 12, 14). Compound eyes dark brown, supported by tawny callus (Figs 12, 14). Frons with brownish and light yellowish color mixed on the disc, median area brown, scattered with numerous small light yellow spots; sublateral carinae light yellow, lateral areas with around 11 yellow tubercles outside of sublateral carinae on each side, basal part of frons light yellow (Fig. 15); anterior and lateral margins elevated and black, median carina brown extending from apex near to base, sublateral carinae light yellow from apex extending near base (Fig. 15). Antennae brown (Fig. 15). Postclypeus mostly black with apical area light yellow (Fig. 15). Gena brown, in lateral view with small yellowish transverse fascia below compound eyes (Fig. 13). This study applied radio frequency identification (RFID) and database technologies to monitor and manage multifarious information of cabin comprehensively, which includes the documents, temperature, humidity, personnel and so on of vessel, effectively improving the efficiency and effectiveness of ship monitoring system. In this paper, a unique marine automatic information monitoring hardware with RFID is designed and implemented, as well as a self-designed software with Visual Studio Professional 2017. An improved intensive label-reading algorithm for enclosed spaces (e.g. cabins) is proposed and applied in this software, greatly improving the speed and accuracy of label reading. Furthermore, the simulation test of label frequency and reading accuracy is carried out to get the most suitable frequency for cabin - intensive documents reading. Both the results and data analysis show that the proposed method and simulation test are effective and feasible.

Fog computing is a new kind of deception-based active prevention technology, detecting and tracing effectively against internal threat or external attack. The technology establishes the foundation of further active security defense. The article expounds the key technology of fog computing technology system, proposes three security challenges: generation and deployment of decoy document, unidirectional transparent detection, and presents corresponded improving measures.

Some works found that target density had not a large effects on the superconducting or structural properties of YBa2Cu3O7-δ (YBCO) films prepared by pulsed laser deposition. However, the possible effect of target density on the Y0.5Gd0.5Ba2Cu3O7-δ (YGBCO) is not clear. In this paper, YGBCO thin films were deposited on flexible metal substrates by pulsed laser deposition using target with different densities. The density of each YGBCO target was varied from to 4.0 g/cm3 to 5.5 g/cm3. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between the microstructure and superconducting properties of YGBCO films as a function of the target density. The film structures were examined by X-ray diffraction and field emission scanning electron microscopy. The superconducting properties of the YGBCO films were evaluated using the conventional four-probe method and PPMS. It was found that all the YGBCO films had pure c-axis orientation. The target density had effect on the surface morphology and superconducting properties of the YGBCO thin films. With increasing target density, the pore became larger and the distribution density and size of the particles became higher and larger, and the critical current Ic decreased. The YGBCO film deposited at a target density of 4.0 g/cm3 exhibited the highest critical current density Jc of 5.4 MA/cm2 at 77 K and self-field, 47.2 MA/cm2 at 0 T and 8.8 MA/cm2 at 9 T at 4.2 K and B//c.

Acothrura orientalis (Liang, 2000) comb. nov. Lacusa orientalis Liang, 2000: 289. Note The species Lacusa orientalis was described by Liang in 2000. Xing & Chen (2014) reviewed all the species of the genus Lacusa. According to their observations, this species should be removed from the genus Lacusa and placed in the genera Sarebasa Distant, 1909 or Acothrura Melichar, 1915 (Xing & Chen 2014). After comparing habitus and phallic complexes of L. orientalis (Liang 2000: figs 17, 23–27) and Acothrura fucizona Wang, Chou & Yuan, 2000 (Figs 91–101), the very similar brown markings on vertex and thorax, shape of anal tube, pygofer with dorsal margin straight, posterior margin curved and gonostylus with apical margin concave at middle lead us to place L. orientalis in the genus Acothrura Melichar, 1915. Lacusa yunnanensis Chou & Huang, 1985 stat. rev. Lacusa yunnanensis Chou & Huang in Chou et al., 1985: 128. Lacusa fuscofasciata ��� Liang 1996: 146. [syn. error] Note In 1854, St��l described a new species Elasmoscelis fuscofasciata from ��� India orientalis��� (St��l 1854). In 1862, he transferred it to Lacusa St��l, 1862 and just mentioned that the specimen was a male, without providing any description concerning the terminalia. Distant (1906) and Melichar (1915) identified some specimens as being L. fuscofasciata and illustrated their descriptions with drawing of the habitus and a frontal view of the head. In 1985, Chou and Huang (in Chou et al. 1985) described a new species, Lacusa yunnanensis Chou & Huang, 1985. The authors mentioned that L. yunnanensis closely resembles L. fuscofasciata and differs only by two characters: a branched fuscous transverse band near the outer margin on the tegmina and a meso- and metathorax fuscous versus an unbranched band on the tegmina and a meso- and metathorax slightly brown for L. fuscofasciata. Chou and Huang indicated that the holotype was a female and provided a drawing of the habitus and a frontal view of the head. In 1996, Liang placed L. yunnanensis as a synonym of L. fuscofasciata. He wrote that after having examined material from different provinces in China and the female holotype of L. yunnanensis, the latter represents part of the colour variability within L. fuscofasciata. In the PhD thesis of Soulier- Perkins (unpublished 1997), some illustrations for the genus Lacusa were provided. As such, drawings of male terminalia were provided for the first time for what she believed to be L. fuscofasciata according to the available description in the literature at this time ��� the corresponding habitus is here provided in Fig. 86. In 2000, Liang provided an illustration of male terminalia of L. fuscofasciata, in accordance with Soulier-Perkins (unpublished 1997). In 2014, Xing and Chen described two new species, Lacusa producta Xing & Chen, 2014 and Lacusa digitata Xing & Chen, 2014. The descriptions were followed by some illustrations: pictures of the specimens and drawings of the male terminalia. They allow an easy recognition of the species when males are available. The authors also provided pictures and drawings of a specimen they believed to be L. fuscofasciata, and the male terminalia in their paper are in accordance with the drawings of Soulier-Perkins (unpublished 1997) and Liang (2000). We checked the holotype of L. yunnanensis. Our surprise was big when 1) we noticed it was not a female but a male and 2) the drawing provided by Chou et al. (1985) was not the one of the holotype, which could explain the discrepancy between the description of the shape of the band at the tip of the tegmina and its illustration. We provide here the pictures of the holotype and the drawings of the male terminalia that we prepared (Figs 58���70). In Fig. 63, we can clearly see what the authors described as a branched band near the outer margin of the forewing. This character and the male terminalia are clearly different from what is usually recognised as being L. fuscofasciata, which would lead us to invalidate Liang���s synonymy. Since all the illustrations provided in the literature for L. fuscofasciata were done from specimens identified as such but not from the holotype, we also borrowed and examined the holotype in order to prepare the male terminalia and illustrate them. A second surprise was waiting for us as the holotype of L. fuscofasciata is not a male but a female (Figs 74���78). However, the pattern at the tip of the tegmina is unbranched and distinct from the branched band observed in L. yunnanensis. Lacusa species identification is therefore reanalysed here after realising all these facts and data. In the material examined, all the males with an unbranched pattern on the tegmina (Figs 85���86) always showed the same male terminalia as in Soulier-Perkins (unpublished 1997) (genitalia of male with habitus as in Fig. 86), Liang (2000) and Xing & Chen (2014). We also examined 4 females (including the holotype of L. fuscofasciata), presenting an unbranched pattern at the tip of the tegmina. The abdomen in all four specimens presents ventrally a segment VII of a ���simple shape���. The posterior margin is slightly produced posteriorly in its median part. Depending on the specimen, this margin is more or less rounded (Figs 83, 87���88). We now conclude that all the specimens presenting the unbranched pattern on the tegmina belong to the same species: L. fuscofasciata. From the pictures provided by Xing and Chen for L. producta and L. digitata (Xing & Chen 2014), we noticed that the pattern at the tip of their tegmina is comparable to the branched pattern of L. yunnanensis but the three species can be clearly identified from each other by their male terminalia. In the material examined, six females presented a segment VII highly modified as in Figs 80, 89 and 90. Moreover, five of them presented a branched pattern at the tip of the tegmina, the sixth female had both tegmina damaged with the tips missing. However, this female was collected in the same place and date as a male identified as L. yunnanensis because of its terminalia. The VII segment illustrated in Fig. 89 belongs to this female and could be considered as illustrating what a female of the species L. yunnanensis looks like. This highly modified segment VII is associated with a branched pattern on the tegmina and as such not identified as L. fuscofasciata. For all these reasons, L. yunnanensis is reinstated as a valid species and the already known illustrations of the terminalia of L. fuscofasciatia should be considered as valid. From the examined material we noticed that L. fuscofasciata and L. yunnanensis are not found in the same areas. L. yunnanensis seems to be located in the South-West part of the Yunnan Province with its distribution extending to the north of Thailand. L. fuscofasciata appears to be more broadly distributed from South to North Vietnam and into the Chinese provinces of Guangxi and Guizhou. The holotype of L. fuscofasciata was collected in ��� India Orientalis��� which is very vague since, at that time, this area corresponded to what actually is known as India, Bangladesh, a part of China and all of Southeast Asia. Etymology The Latin name impudica refers to the shape of the anal tube in dorsal view (Fig. 24), similar to insulting digitibus impudicus as called in the ancient Rome. Pronotum greyish white, with dark brown colour suffused in apical and median area on disc; median and lateral carinae ochraceous (Fig. 19). Hindwings pale brown. Legs pale piceous; fore and median femora and tibiae diffused with fuscous transverse stripes. Male terminalia Pygofer higher than wide in profile, with dorsal margin sloping posteriorly at basal ¼ and flattened at basal ¾, posterior margin slightly concave near middle, dorso-lateral angle acute (Fig. 21). Anal tube in dorsal view longer than wide, with apical part digitiform and lateral margin convex (Fig. 24); in lateral view, anal tube prolonged posteriorly beyond the anal opening point by a medio-dorsal extension gradually tapering to apex (Fig. 21). Gonostylus longer than high, dorsal margin sloping forward at basal part and sinuate at apical part, with a small hook-like process directed posteriorly near base; ventral margin obliquely rounded (Figs 21, 25). In lateral view, dorsal margin of periandrium regularly curved and deeply concave at middle, beyond the insertion level of aedeagus process, periandrium getting slender regularly and apex round, bearing a dorsal process oriented dorsally (Figs 26, 40), aedeagus bearing a pair of ventral-anterior processes very regularly curved and oriented anteriorly (Fig. 26). Acothrura orientalis (Liang, 2000) comb. nov. Lacusa orientalis Liang, 2000: 289. Note The species Lacusa orientalis was described by Liang in 2000. Xing & Chen (2014) reviewed all the species of the genus Lacusa. According to their observations, this species should be removed from the genus Lacusa and placed in the genera Sarebasa Distant, 1909 or Acothrura Melichar, 1915 (Xing & Chen 2014). After comparing habitus and phallic complexes of L. orientalis (Liang 2000: figs 17, 23���27) and Acothrura fucizona Wang, Chou & Yuan, 2000 (Figs 91���101), the very similar brown markings on vertex and thorax, shape of anal tube, pygofer with dorsal margin straight, posterior margin curved and gonostylus with apical margin concave at middle lead us to place L. orientalis in the genus Acothrura Melichar, 1915. Lacusa yunnanensis Chou & Huang, 1985 stat. rev. Lacusa yunnanensis Chou & Huang in Chou et al., 1985: 128. Lacusa fuscofasciata – Liang 1996: 146. [syn. error] Note In 1854, Stål described a new species Elasmoscelis fuscofasciata from “ India orientalis” (Stål 1854). In 1862, he transferred it to Lacusa Stål, 1862 and just mentioned that the specimen was a male, without providing any description concerning the terminalia. Distant (1906) and Melichar (1915) identified some specimens as being L. fuscofasciata and illustrated their descriptions with drawing of the habitus and a frontal view of the head. In 1985, Chou and Huang (in Chou et al. 1985) described a new species, Lacusa yunnanensis Chou & Huang, 1985. The authors mentioned that L. yunnanensis closely resembles L. fuscofasciata and differs only by two characters: a branched fuscous transverse band near the outer margin on the tegmina and a meso- and metathorax fuscous versus an unbranched band on the tegmina and a meso- and metathorax slightly brown for L. fuscofasciata. Chou and Huang indicated that the holotype was a female and provided a drawing of the habitus and a frontal view of the head. In 1996, Liang placed L. yunnanensis as a synonym of L. fuscofasciata. He wrote that after having examined material from different provinces in China and the female holotype of L. yunnanensis, the latter represents part of the colour variability within L. fuscofasciata. In the PhD thesis of Soulier- Perkins (unpublished 1997), some illustrations for the genus Lacusa were provided. As such, drawings of male terminalia were provided for the first time for what she believed to be L. fuscofasciata according to the available description in the literature at this time – the corresponding habitus is here provided in Fig. 86. In 2000, Liang provided an illustration of male terminalia of L. fuscofasciata, in accordance with Soulier-Perkins (unpublished 1997). In 2014, Xing and Chen described two new species, Lacusa producta Xing & Chen, 2014 and Lacusa digitata Xing & Chen, 2014. The descriptions were followed by some illustrations: pictures of the specimens and drawings of the male terminalia. They allow an easy recognition of the species when males are available. The authors also provided pictures and drawings of a specimen they believed to be L. fuscofasciata, and the male terminalia in their paper are in accordance with the drawings of Soulier-Perkins (unpublished 1997) and Liang (2000). We checked the holotype of L. yunnanensis. Our surprise was big when 1) we noticed it was not a female but a male and 2) the drawing provided by Chou et al. (1985) was not the one of the holotype, which could explain the discrepancy between the description of the shape of the band at the tip of the tegmina and its illustration. We provide here the pictures of the holotype and the drawings of the male terminalia that we prepared (Figs 58–70). In Fig. 63, we can clearly see what the authors described as a branched band near the outer margin of the forewing. This character and the male terminalia are clearly different from what is usually recognised as being L. fuscofasciata, which would lead us to invalidate Liang’s synonymy. Since all the illustrations provided in the literature for L. fuscofasciata were done from specimens identified as such but not from the holotype, we also borrowed and examined the holotype in order to prepare the male terminalia and illustrate them. A second surprise was waiting for us as the holotype of L. fuscofasciata is not a male but a female (Figs 74–78). However, the pattern at the tip of the tegmina is unbranched and distinct from the branched band observed in L. yunnanensis. Lacusa species identification is therefore reanalysed here after realising all these facts and data. In the material examined, all the males with an unbranched pattern on the tegmina (Figs 85–86) always showed the same male terminalia as in Soulier-Perkins (unpublished 1997) (genitalia of male with habitus as in Fig. 86), Liang (2000) and Xing & Chen (2014). We also examined 4 females (including the holotype of L. fuscofasciata), presenting an unbranched pattern at the tip of the tegmina. The abdomen in all four specimens presents ventrally a segment VII of a “simple shape”. The posterior margin is slightly produced posteriorly in its median part. Depending on the specimen, this margin is more or less rounded (Figs 83, 87–88). We now conclude that all the specimens presenting the unbranched pattern on the tegmina belong to the same species: L. fuscofasciata. From the pictures provided by Xing and Chen for L. producta and L. digitata (Xing & Chen 2014), we noticed that the pattern at the tip of their tegmina is comparable to the branched pattern of L. yunnanensis but the three species can be clearly identified from each other by their male terminalia. In the material examined, six females presented a segment VII highly modified as in Figs 80, 89 and 90. Moreover, five of them presented a branched pattern at the tip of the tegmina, the sixth female had both tegmina damaged with the tips missing. However, this female was collected in the same place and date as a male identified as L. yunnanensis because of its terminalia. The VII segment illustrated in Fig. 89 belongs to this female and could be considered as illustrating what a female of the species L. yunnanensis looks like. This highly modified segment VII is associated with a branched pattern on the tegmina and as such not identified as L. fuscofasciata. For all these reasons, L. yunnanensis is reinstated as a valid species and the already known illustrations of the terminalia of L. fuscofasciatia should be considered as valid. From the examined material we noticed that L. fuscofasciata and L. yunnanensis are not found in the same areas. L. yunnanensis seems to be located in the South-West part of the Yunnan Province with its distribution extending to the north of Thailand. L. fuscofasciata appears to be more broadly distributed from South to North Vietnam and into the Chinese provinces of Guangxi and Guizhou. The holotype of L. fuscofasciata was collected in “ India Orientalis” which is very vague since, at that time, this area corresponded to what actually is known as India, Bangladesh, a part of China and all of Southeast Asia. Pitambara triremiprocta Wang & Soulier-Perkins, sp. nov. urn:lsid:zoobank.org:act: E5848886-C6B5-45C0-BB0F-61137185BB72 Figs 5���15, 38���39 Diagnosis Within the Pitambara species presenting a costal hyaline patch on the tegmina (Fig. 1), P. triremiprocta is the only one for which this patch is roughly triangular, with a very large base along the costal margin and its tip reaching the level of CuA, and with an apical hyaline patch having a brown sinuate stripe inside (Fig. 5). Etymology Free arrangement between the words ���trireme��� and ���proctodeum��� since the apex of the anal tube is shaped like the bow of ancient Mediterranean warship. Vertex 1.3 times longer in midline than broad at base, anterior margin V-shaped well marked, lateral margins elevated and posterior margin largely rounded, with its most anterior point being at the level of the middle of the compound eyes (Fig. 8). Frons 1.5 times longer in midline than its widest part (Fig. 9), slender median carina present. Pronotum 4.1 times broader at widest part than long in midline (Fig. 8). Mesonotum 1.4 times broader at widest part than long in midline (Fig. 8). Coloration Vertex pale tawny, with three fuscous longitudinal stripes, anterior and lateral margins black (Figs 5, 8). Eyes brownish ochraceous (Fig. 8). Frons pale tawny, with a broad white transverse band at base, sublateral carinae ochraceous (Fig. 9). Clypeus yellow, with apical part dark brown (Fig. 9). Gena greyish white, with one fuscous transverse stripe crossing ocellus (Fig. 7). Ocelli brown. Pronotum tawny, with median and lateral carinae yellow; the median area surrounded by lateral carinae brown (Fig. 8). Mesonotum black, median carina black, lateral carinae with upper half black and lower half tawny, lateral area dark brown mixed with tawny (Fig. 8). Tegmina dark brown; costal margin with several short fuscous transverse stripes near base, one very large white triangular marking at middle extending to outer margin of clavus, sparsely diffuse with short fuscous stripes inside; apical part of tegmina with two small irregular white markings along costal margin, and white at apex, with one fuscous sinuate stripe inside (Fig. 5). Hindwings pale brown. Legs pale tawny, fore and middle femora and tibiae diffused with fuscous transverse stripes. Male terminalia In lateral view, pygofer higher than wide, with dorsal margin deeply sloping posteriorly for the first half and slightly sloping for the second half, postero-dorsal angle rounded (Fig. 10); dorsal margin shorter than ventral margin; posterior margin with a deep cut out on its �� upper part. In ventral view, pygofer posterior margin almost straight, with the exception of lateral angles rounded (Fig. 11). Anal tube in dorsal view wider than long, with apical part slightly convex and lateral margins oblique, dorso-lateral angles obviously prominent at each side (Fig. 13), in lateral view anal tube prolonged posteriorly beyond the anal opening point by a medio-ventral extension gradually tapering to apex (Fig. 10). Gonostylus approximately as high as broad; dorsal margin concave near middle, with a small hook-like process directed postero-ventrally; ventral margin obliquely rounded (Figs 10, 14). Periandrium in lateral view rounded apically, bearing on each side a fold rounded apically as well, but bearing a series of very small teeth (Figs 15, 38). Etymology The Latin name impudica refers to the shape of the anal tube in dorsal view (Fig. 24), similar to insulting digitibus impudicus as called in the ancient Rome. Mesonotum 1.5 times broader at widest part than long in midline. Coloration Vertex greyish white with three slender and fuscous longitudinal stripes and two fuscous patches at base; anterior and lateral margins black (Fig. 19). Eyes brownish ochraceous (Fig. 19). Frons pale piceous in ventral view; sublateral carinae brown, with very narrow longitudinal stripes at inner side; lateral margins brown (Fig. 20). Anal tube in dorsal view longer than wide, with apical part digitiform and lateral margin convex (Fig. 24); in lateral view, anal tube prolonged posteriorly beyond the anal opening point by a medio-dorsal extension gradually tapering to apex (Fig. 21). Gonostylus longer than high, dorsal margin sloping forward at basal part and sinuate at apical part, with a small hook-like process directed posteriorly near base; ventral margin obliquely rounded (Figs 21, 25). Connelicita backyensis Stroiński et Bourgoin, sp. nov. (Figs 22���31) Etymology. The Latin name refers to Vietnamese name of Tonkin (B���c K���), the area where the species was collected. Diagnosis. This new species appears similar to C. haiphongensis sp. nov., but differs by the following specific characters: anterior margin of vertex slightly convex (Fig. 24), but strongly convex in C. haiphongensis (Fig. 4); aedeagus with large and thick process at apex, directed upward in this species (Fig. 30), absent in C. haiphongensis (Fig. 11); gonostylus with capitulum located at apical 1 / 3, posterior margin of gonostylus deeply concave forming a groove in apical half (Fig. 31), while in C. haiphongensis located at apical 1 / 4, posterior margin of gonostylus straight in apical half (Fig. 12). Description. Length: male (including forewing) (N= 4): 10.5���11.2 mm, forewing: 8.7���9.3 mm. HEAD. Vertex 0.8 times longer in middle line than wide at base (Fig. 24). Frons 2.0 times longer in middle line than broad at upper margin, 1.0 times longer in middle line than widest part (Fig. 25). THORAX. Pronotum 3.6 times wider at widest part than long in midline (Fig. 24). Mesonotum 1.0 times wider at widest part than long in midline and 1.5 times longer than cumulative length of vertex and pronotum in midline (Fig. 24). Genus Tetricodissus gen. nov. Type species: Tetricodissus pandlineus sp. nov. Description. Head including eyes approximately as broad as pronotum. Coryphe subrectangular, slightly wider than long, without carina, anterior margin slightly angulately produced, posterior margin anguately concave at the middle (Figs 1, 2). Metope wide, apical margin distinctly concave medially, lateral margins slightly enlarged below eyes, with median carina elevated from apical margin extending near to base, but not reaching postclypeus at disc, sublateral carinae absent (Figs 5, 6). Postclypeus flat, without carina (Figs 5, 6). Rostrum surpassing intermediate coxae in ventral view. Pronotum with some verrucae on disc, median carina absent. Mesonotum without carina. Fore wings elongate, without hypocostal plate, costal margin and claval margin almost paralleled, outer margin obliquely rounded, ScP+R vein forked at basal 1 / 5, first fork of vein MP near to middle, vein MP 3 + 4 separated before MP 1 + 2, vein CuA simple, claval suture distinct, veins Pcu and A 1 fused at basal 2 / 3 of clavus (Fig. 7), whole fore wing diffused with numerous transverse veins (Figs 1, 2). Hind wings well developed, 3 -lobed, with veins reticular, anal lobe extremely narrow (Fig. 8). Hind tibiae with 2 lateral teeth in apical half. Male genitalia. Anal tube long, slightly surpassing posterior margin of the capitulum of gonostylus (Fig. 9). Gonostylus triangular in profile, caudo-ventral angle actute, capitulum well developed with apical and lateral teeth (Figs 9, 12). Pygofer rectangular in lateral view; posterior margin not strongly caudally produced (Fig. 9). Periandrium symmetrical, basally tubular, with a pair of ventral processes pointing anteriorly (Fig. 13); apical part divide into dorsal lobe, paired lateral lobes and ventral lobe. Female genitalia. Anal tube elongate, surpassing level of posterior margin of gonoplac. Gonocoxa VIII in dorsal view rectangular, forming a right angle with gonapophysis VIII (Fig. 18). Gonoplacs nearly rounded in lateral view (Fig. 22), in dorsal view fused near base, with basal latero-margin developed in a single lobe (Fig. 21). Hind margin of sternite VII concave medially (Fig. 17). Etymology. The name is an arbitrary combination between two generic names of issids: Tetricodes and Issus; the gender is masculine. Distribution. China (Yunnan). Remarks. Tetricodissus is similar to genus Neotetricodes Zhang & Chen, 2012, but differs by 1) the apical margin of metope obviously concave at middle (apical margin straight in Neotetricodes), 2) the periandrium with a pair of long ventral processes, without lateral laminae (periandrium with lateral laminae, but without ventral processes in Neotetricodes) and 3) veins Pcu and A 1 of fore wing fused at basal 2 / 3 of clavus (veins of clavus fused at middle in Neotetricodes). Connelicita lungchowensis (Chou et Lu, 1977) comb. nov. Sassula lungchowensis Chou et Lu, 1977: 318; Chou et al., 1985: 103. Material examined. Holotype: 1 ♀, China: Mt. Daqing, Longzhou, Guangxi Province, 19.VII. 1964. Coll.: Shengli Liu (TMNH). Notes. Connelicita lungchowensis was originally described according to one female specimen as a new species of the genus Sassula St��l, 1870 in the family Ricaniidae by Chou & Lu (1977). It was considered to be very close to the Burmese species S. sorurcula St��l. After Fennah's revision (1978) of Nogodinidae, this genus was transferred into the nogodinid Varciini Fennah, 1978, subtribe Sassulina Fennah, 1978. A careful check of the type specimen of S. lungchowensis (Figs 32���34) to complete Chou & Lu's figure (1977, fig. 22) shows the necessity to transfer this species into the new genus described here. This species differs from C. haiphongensis Wang et Zhang, sp. nov. by the shape of the vertex. Tetricodissus pandlineus sp. nov. (Figs 1���22) Description. Length: male (including fore wings) (N= 14): 5.5���6.2 mm; female (including fore wings) (N= 11): 6.1���7.2 mm. Coryphe brown, 1.7 times wider at base than long in midline, with yellow line in middle (Figs 1, 2). Metope brown, 1.2 times broader in midline than widest part, with arc-shaped black markings from apex of disc extending to basal 4 / 5 and two yellow spots on the side of median carina, several unconspicuous verrucae along the arcshaped dark marking, apical angles of metope black, basal margin yellow (Figs 5, 6). Postclypeus pale brown, with several oblique dark brown stripes each side, apical margin with two dark brown patches (Figs 5, 6). Eyes grey. Genae brown, with an oblique yellow fascia below eyes. Pronotum brown, 1.2 times longer in midline than coryphe, yellow in midline, each side distributed with about nine verrucae on disc (Figs 1, 2). Mesonotum pale brown, 2.1 times wider in anterior margin than long in midline, with two dark brown longitudinal bands on disc (Figs 1, 2). Fore wings dark brown, 2.6 times longer at longest part than width, main venations reddish brown and elevated, with numerous yellow transverse veins crossed (Figs 1, 2); female paler, a darker V marking more or less visible (Fig. 2) and 2 darker apical patches diffused (Fig. 2). Connelicita haiphongensis Wang et Zhang, sp. nov. (Figs 2���21) Etymology. The Latin name refers to the locality of the species in Haiphong, Vietnam. Diagnosis. The new species appears similar to C. backyensis Stroiński et Bourgoin, sp. nov. but differs in the head capsule shape and male genitalia conformation as indicated in the diagnosis of the type species��� C. backyensis sp. nov. Description. Length: male (including forewing) (N= 1): 10.2 mm, forewing: 8.1 mm; female (including forewing) (N= 2): 10.8���11.0 mm, forewing: 8.8���9.0 mm. HEAD. Vertex 1.1 times longer in middle line than wide at base (Fig. 4). Frons 2.0 times longer in middle line than broad at upper margin, 1.1 times longer in middle line than widest part (Fig. 5). THORAX. Pronotum 4.2 times wider at widest part than long in midline (Fig. 4). Mesonotum 0.9 times wider at widest part than long in midline (Fig. 4) and 1.6 times longer than cumulative length of the vertex and pronotum in midline (Fig. 4). Forewing 2.2 times longer than widest part (Fig. 6). MALE TERMINALIA. Anal tube 1.4 times longer than width in dorsal view, with apical margin almost straight and lateral margin nearly parallel, epiproct short, located at upper half of anal tube (Fig. 10), ventral margin of anal tube slightly sinuate in lateral view (Fig. 8). Gonostylus with capitulum located at apical 1 / 4, posterior margin of gonostylus vertically in apical half, dorsal margin of capitulum slightly sloping posteriorly, additional lobe of capitulum with two spines separately in dorsal margin with larger one near base and small one near the middle, both directed downward (Fig. 12). Pygofer in lateral view with posterior margin deeply inclined posteriorly at upper 1 / 3 and slightly sinuate at lower 2 / 3 part (Figs 8, 9). Aedeagus smooth at apex (Fig. 11). Ventral process of periandrium hook-like (Fig. 11). FEMALE TERMINALIA. Anal tube in dorsal view oval (Fig. 14). Hind margin of sternite VII nearly straight, shallowly incised medially (Fig. 20). Anterior connective lamina of gonapophysis VIII with six teeth at outer lateral margin and one tooth in inner lateral margin (Fig. 17). Endogonocoxal process developed and membranous, reaching the same level of the upper margin of gonapophysis VIII (Fig. 17). Gonocoxa VIII subquadrangular. Posterior connective lamina of gonapophysis IX membranous in medial part and sclerotized in outer part, with small tooth near middle each side (Fig. 18). Gonospiculum bridge large (Figs 18, 19). Gonoplacs rounded in lateral view (Fig. 15), fused at middle in apical half (Fig. 16), outer margin slightly broaden near middle, with numerous small teeth at inner side of apex (Fig. 16). Egg oval with long and narrow operculum (Fig. 21). COLORATION. Vertex yellowish brown, with median carina pale yellow on disc, anterior and lateral carinae brown, lateral margins slightly widen from base to apex (Figs 2, 4). Compound eyes grey (Figs 2, 4). Ocelli red. Frons yellow, with median carina tawny, two brown curved vertical bands beside the median carina, anterior and lateral margins black (Fig. 5). Clypeus yellow, with median carina tawny (Fig. 5). Genae yellow, with black patch below antenna (Figs 3, 4). Pronotum yellowish brown, with median carina pale yellow and two small depressions beside median carina on disc (Fig. 4). Mesonotum yellowish brown, with median and lateral carinae pale yellow, two dark brown vertical bands along lateral carinae and two small brown spots near base (Fig. 4). Forewings with brown spot near middle of vein CuP and vein CuA 2 (Fig. 6). Legs tawny, with apex of spines black. Type materials. Bardunia jianfenglingensis (Chen, Zhang & Chang, 2014) new. comb. Fortunia jianfenglingensis Chen, Zhang & Chang, 2014: 94 Chen et al., (2014) described one new species Fortunia jianfenglingensis Chen, Zhang & Chang in the genus Fortunia Distant, 1909, the species was collected from Hainan province, China. However, shape of coryphe, anterior convex margin of metope (in dorsal view), foliated profemora and protibia and the large light spot on protibia (Gnezdilov, 2011) show that the species belongs a group of taxa related to the genus Bardunia St��l, 1863 to which it is here transferred waiting for a better placement. Goniopsarites fronticonvexus sp. nov. (Figs 1���27) Description. Length, male (N= 2) (including tegmen): 11.0���11.5 mm, length of tegmen: 9.6���10.0 mm; female (N= 1) (including tegmen):13.2 mm, length of tegmen: 12.0 mm. General color infuscate. Vertex fuscous. Frons pitchy, with a pallide-flavens transverse bar near upper margin, transverse stramineous fascia near frontoclypeal suture, and two yellow blotches near lateral margins above antennae; Y-shaped sublateral keel partly yellow. Clypeus pale cinereous with three yellow speckles at base, median carina fusco-rufous, median portion with parallel oblique pale yellow striae. Ocelli yellow. Eyes pitchy. Antenna fusco-piceous. Gena yellow with a large black speckle below antenna and a relatively small black spot in front of it. Pronotum fuscous, lateroventral pronotal lobes pitchy. Mesonotum fusco-piceous at disc, pale fulvous laterally. Tegmina translucent, tawny, with large irregularly fusco-piceous macula at basal half, and pale crineous triangular macula from apical angle to claval suture at distal half; precostal area with eight yellow spots; longitudinal veins reddish-brown or dark brown, transverse veinlets ochraceous. Wings caesious to pale fuscous, veins fuscescent. Legs testaceous with black fascia and annulus. Abdomen fusco-piceous on dorsum and ventrite, dark green laterally. Genital styles green-black. Male anal tube pitchy. Male terminalia. Genital styles elongate in ventral view (Fig. 11), expanding distally, subtriangular in lateral view, with an oblique eminence on outer surface in lateral view (Fig. 12), dorsal margin concave, ventral margin almost straight, apical margin slightly oblique and straight. Capitulum broad and narrowing distally with apex terminating in a small hook (Fig. 18). Aedeagus deeply U-shaped in lateral view (Fig. 19). Dorso-lateral phallobase lobes strongly sclerotized, with a pair of short blade-shaped processes on lateral side; dorsal margin with large eminences extending to middle from base, ventral margin widely convex distally. Ventral phallobase lobe much shortened, bifurcated near middle. Phallus with a pair of long slender ventral processes arising laterally at middle (Fig. 19). Pygofer with posterior margin slightly convex, anterior margin oblique and shallowly concave, ventral margin straight (Figs 11, 18). Female terminalia. Gonoplac rectangular in lateral view, almost as broad as long, bearing a number of minute denticles (about 5 rows) along dorsal margin to ventral margin in posterior view; median area depressed, with longitudinal carina subparallel to apical margin; third gonoplac lobes fused medially (Figs 13, 15, 16, 22). Posterior connective lamina of gonapophyses IX elongated, triangular-shaped in dorsal view; median field elevated with fused lobes in shape of ���reversed triangle��� (Figs 24, 25). Gonospiculum bridge large, flattened laterally, spadeshaped (Fig. 24). Gonocoxa VIII approximately square with slightly protruding hind margin (Fig. 23). Endogonocoxal process lance-shaped, narrowing apically, not furcated. Anterior connective lamina of gonapophyses VIII narrow and long, tapering distally, with 9 teeth (8 teeth with keels) (Fig. 23). Sternum VII deeply concave at middle of hind margin (Figs 15, 22). Female internal reproductive system: Distrysian. Bursa copulatrix well-developed with two pouches; first pouch (BC 1) much larger than second pouch (BC 2), wall of BC 1 with easily visible cells and sclerotized ornamentation; BC 2 membranous with weakly visible cells and unsclerotized minutely tuberculate ornamentation; BC 1 and BC 2 are connected by a relatively thin membranous duct. Vagina with posterior vagina and anterior vagina, posterior vagina relatively dumpy, with a pair of semicircular processes on dorsal side; anterior vagina thin, receiving anteriorly spermatheca and ventrally common oviduct near apex. Common oviduct relatively thin. Spermatheca well-developed, comprised of five parts: orificium receptaculi (or) dilated, ductus receptaculi (dr) thin and elongate, distinctly inflated scrotiform at middle, diverticulum ductus (dvd) evidently crescentiform, pars intermedialis (spp) relatively thin with delicate spiral fold and glandula apicalis (ga) distinctly divided into two longish ducts (Figs 26, 27). Paratypes: 1 male, China, Guangdong Province, Shenzhen City, Neilingting Island; 13 June 2002, coll. Fenglong Jia; 1 female, China, Hainan Province, Jianfengling Mountain, 28 July 1983, coll. Jianguo Long. Diagnosis. The new species differs from the closely related Goniopsara mystica (Melichar, 1899) in the frons forward protrude at lower part, widest at upper margin (frons flat, widest under the level of antenna in G. mystica); hind tibia with two lateral spines (hind tibia with three lateral spines in G. mystica). Etymology.
