We propose to Transform Scene Graphs (TSG) into more descriptive captions. In TSG, we apply multi-head attention (MHA) to design the Graph Neural Network (GNN) for embedding scene graphs. After embedding, different graph embeddings contain diverse specific knowledge for generating the words with different part-of-speech, e.g., object/attribute embedding is good for generating nouns/adjectives. Motivated by this, we design a Mixture-of-Expert (MOE)-based decoder, where each expert is built on MHA, for discriminating the graph embeddings to generate different kinds of words. Since both the encoder and decoder are built based on the MHA, as a result, we construct a homogeneous encoder-decoder unlike the previous heterogeneous ones which usually apply Fully-Connected-based GNN and LSTM-based decoder. The homogeneous architecture enables us to unify the training configuration of the whole model instead of specifying different training strategies for diverse sub-networks as in the heterogeneous pipeline, which releases the training difficulty. Extensive experiments on the MS-COCO captioning benchmark validate the effectiveness of our TSG. Cancer stem cells (CSCs) are a small subset of cells that sit atop the hierarchical ladder in many cancer types. Liver CSCs have been associated with high chemoresistance and recurrence rates in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). However, as of yet, no satisfactorily effective liver CSC-targeted treatment is available, which drove us to design and investigate the efficacy of a liposome-based delivery system. Here, we introduce a redox-triggered dual-targeted liposome, CEP-LP@S/D, capable of co-delivering doxorubicin (Dox) and salinomycin (Sal) for the synergistic treatment of liver cancer. This system is based on the association of CD133- and EpCAM-targeted peptides to form Y-shaped CEP ligands that were anchored to the surface of the liposome and allowed the selective targeting of CD133+ EpCAM+ liver CSCs. After arriving to the CSCs, the CEP-LP@S/D liposome undergoes endocytosis to the cytoplasm, where a high concentration of glutathione (GSH) breaks its disulfide bonds, thereby degrading the liposome. This then induces a rapid release of Dox and Sal to synergistically inhibit tumor growth. Notably, this effect occurs through Dox-induced apoptosis and concurrent lysosomal iron sequestration by Sal. Interestingly, both in vitro and in vivo studies indicated that our GSH-responsive co-delivery system not only effectively enhanced CSC targeting but also eliminated the non-CSC faction, thereby exhibiting high antitumor efficacy. We believe that the smart liposome nanocarrier-based co-delivery system is a promising strategy to combat liver cancer, which may also lay the groundwork for more enhanced approaches to target other cancer types as well.

BackgroundA better understanding of the blood supply of the femoral head is essential to guide therapeutic strategies for patients with femoral neck fractures. However, because of the limitations of conventional techniques, the precise distribution and characteristics of intraosseous arteries of the femoral head are not well displayed.Questions/purposesTo explore the characteristics and interconnections of the intraosseous vessel system between different areas of the femoral head and the possible blood supply compensatory mechanism after femoral neck fracture.MethodsThe three-dimensional (3-D) structures of the intraosseous blood supply in 30 uninjured normal human femoral heads were reconstructed using angiography methods and microCT scans. The data were imported in the AMIRA® and MIMICS® software programs to reconstruct and quantify the extra- and intraosseous arteries (diameter, length). In a separate experiment, we evaluated the residual blood supply of femoral heads in 27 patients with femoral neck fractures before surgery by analyzing digital subtraction angiography data; during the study period, this was performed on all patients in whom hip-preserving surgery was planned, rather than arthroplasty. The number of affected and unaffected subjects included in the three groups (superior, inferior, and anterior retinacular arteries) with different types of fractures (Garden Types I-IV) were recorded and analyzed (Fisher's exact test) to reflect the affected degrees of these three groups of retinacular arteries in patients after femoral neck fractures.ResultsThe main results of our cadaver study were: (1) the main blood supply sources of the femoral head were connected by three main network structures as a whole, and the epiphyseal arterial network is the most widely distributed and the primary network structure in the femoral head; (2) the main stems of the epiphyseal arteries which were located on the periphery of the intraosseous vascular system have fewer anastomoses than the network located in the central region; (3) compared with the round ligament artery and anterior retinacular artery, the inferior retinacular artery has a relatively large caliber. Digital subtraction angiography of the 27 patients with hip fractures indicated that the inferior retinacular arterial system had a high likelihood of being unaffected after femoral neck fracture (100% [14 of 14] in nondisplaced fractures and 60% [six of 10] in Garden Type III fractures).ConclusionsThe epiphyseal arterial network and inferior retinacular arterial system appear to be two important structures for maintaining the femoral head blood supply after femoral neck fracture. Increased efforts to protect these key structures during surgery, such as drilling and placing internal implants closer to the central region of the femoral head, might be helpful to reduce the effect of iatrogenic injury of the intraosseous vascular system.Clinical relevance3-D anatomic evidence of intraosseous arterial distribution of the femoral head and the high frequency with which the inferior retinacular arteries remained patent after femoral neck fracture lead us to consider the necessity of drilling and placing internal implants closer to the central region of the femoral head during surgery. Future controlled studies might evaluate this proposition.

An asymmetric three-layer slab waveguide with a core of the left-handed material and sandwiched by two conventional materials is investigated.Considering the dispersive and an isotropic properties of the left-handed material,the dispersion equation and power fluxes for TE oscillating guided modes are obtained and mode dispersion curves are plotted,respectively,through Maxuell's equations.Eight TE oscillating guided modes are found,including the fundamental mode.With the increase of mode number,mode dispersion curves move to right and the power flux curves move to right bottom.However,with the increase of waveguide thickness,mode dispersion curves move to left and mode power flux curves move up.Besides,all modes have abnormal dispersion properties and employ negative group velocities which reveals the special properties of the left-handed materials.

A symmetric five-layer slab waveguide with a core of left-handed material and surrounded by four normal dielectrics is investigated.Under the consideration of material dispersion,the dispersion equations for the TE oscillating guided modes are obtained and mode dispersion curves are plotted.It is found that zero-order TE oscillating guided mode is exist.With the increase of mode number,mode dispersion curves move to left,and their cutoff frequencies decrease.Besides,some modes have three dispersion properties: normal dispersion,abnormal dispersion and mode double-degeneracy.

Ideological and political work of university students are facing new opportunities and challenges under the network environment, which requires political supervisors in colleges to set up ideological politics education with new ideas, new methods for the work. This paper describes a network platform combining the establishment of ideological education, guidance and services in detail, in order to create a new world of the ideological and political work.

Beijing free electron laser (BFEL) is a Compton type mid-infrared FEL facility. By using a thermionic cathode RF gun as an injector, 30 MeV s-band RF linac and two wiggler-optical cavity beam lines generate mid- and far-infrared radiation in the wavelength range of 5-50 mum. BFEL facility possesses the conditions for a user's facility. The running is stable, intensity fluctuation of laser is small, and wavelength adjustment is flexible. The stability test showed that the pulse energy fluctuation is about 1% within 30 minutes, and wavelength fluctuation is less than 0.1%. In this year, the lasing time used for users has reached 1600 hours. More than 250 samples have been studied and many application items have been concerned. Five user's stations will be established. Among them, two key experimental stations; FEL spectrum analysis station, and FEL steady state analysis station, have been constructed. For the purpose of user's applications, special equipments have been provided. Some experimental results of the application items are also presented.
