Exercise group recommendation plays an important role in many intelligent education tasks. However, existing approaches make recommendations based on the intrinsic features of exercises without considering students' learning abilities, or make selections from several pre-built exercise groups at the expense of flexibility. Furthermore, although many cognitive diagnosis approaches have successfully revealed students' abilities, how to leverage the diagnosis results for exercise group recommendation is hardly explored. To flexibly recommend suitable exercise groups to students, this paper proposes to assemble personalized exercises as a group based on students' abilities, called Personalized Exercise Group Assembly (PEGA). To solve the PEGA task, we first formulate it as a constrained multi-objective problem (CMOP), where three objectives are designed for enabling the assembled exercises to enhance students' abilities on both weak and new knowledge concepts. Then, we devise an extended neural cognitive diagnosis model to learn student's ability/proficiency on all knowledge concepts to compute the weakness consolidation objective. Besides, we propose a dual-encoding and dual-population based co-evolutionary algorithm to tackle the CMOP, where the main population with binary encoding is used to search which exercises are selected, and the auxiliary population with integer encoding is responsible for accelerating the convergence of the main population via guiding offspring generation of the main population. Experiments on three popular datasets demonstrate the effectiveness of exercises assembled by the proposed algorithm compared to state-of-the-art exercise group recommendation approaches, where our assembled exercises can enhance students' proficiency on both poorly mastered and new knowledge concepts.

Abstract: A base-promoted cascade reaction of α-ketoester with benzylidene-malononitrile was developed under mild reaction conditions, which enabled the synthesis of polyfunctionalized 2-amino- 3-cyano-4H-pyrans containing ester motifs at 6-position with good to excellent yields. These transformations not only construct various polyfunctionalized 4H-pyrans, which add a new member to the family of 4H-pyrans, but also provide an efficient approach for the synthesis of fully substituted 4Hpyran derivatives.

Background Observational studies suggest a correlation between post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and gastrointestinal tract (GIT) disorders. However, the genetic overlap, causal relationships, and underlining mechanisms between PTSD and GIT disorders were absent. Methods We obtained genome-wide association study statistics for PTSD (23 212 cases, 151 447 controls), peptic ulcer disease (PUD; 16 666 cases, 439 661 controls), gastroesophageal reflux disease (GORD; 54 854 cases, 401 473 controls), PUD and/or GORD and/or medications (PGM; 90 175 cases, 366 152 controls), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS; 28 518 cases, 426 803 controls), and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD; 7045 cases, 449 282 controls). We quantified genetic correlations, identified pleiotropic loci, and performed multi-marker analysis of genomic annotation, fast gene-based association analysis, transcriptome-wide association study analysis, and bidirectional Mendelian randomization analysis. Results PTSD globally correlates with PUD (rg = 0.526, p = 9.355 × 10−7), GORD (rg = 0.398, p = 5.223 × 10−9), PGM (rg = 0.524, p = 1.251 × 10−15), and IBS (rg = 0.419, p = 8.825 × 10−6). Cross-trait meta-analyses identify seven genome-wide significant loci between PTSD and PGM (rs13107325, rs1632855, rs1800628, rs2188100, rs3129953, rs6973700, and rs73154693); three between PTSD and GORD (rs13107325, rs1632855, and rs3132450); one between PTSD and IBS/IBD (rs4937872 and rs114969413, respectively). Proximal pleiotropic genes are mainly enriched in immune response regulatory pathways, and in brain, digestive, and immune systems. Gene-level analyses identify five candidates: ABT1, BTN3A2, HIST1H3J, ZKSCAN4, and ZKSCAN8. We found significant causal effects of GORD, PGM, IBS, and IBD on PTSD. We observed no reverse causality of PTSD with GIT disorders, except for GORD. Conclusions PTSD and GIT disorders share common genetic architectures. Our work offers insights into the biological mechanisms, and provides genetic basis for translational research studies.

As the most prevalent subtype of aortic aneurysm, abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) features the apoptosis, extracellular matrix (ECM) disruption, and inflammation response of vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs). Noncoding RNAs (ncRNAs) are crucial factors in AAA progression, while the investigations have not been fully explained. miR-191-5p upregulation is found in aortic aneurysm. However, its role in AAA has not been addressed. This research purposed to excavate the possible and associated molecular axis of miR-191-5p in AAA. In our study, miR-191-5p level was detected to be high in the tissues from AAA patients in comparison with the control group. After miR-191-5p expression was enhanced, cell viability was repressed, cell apoptosis was boosted, and ECM disruption and the inflammation response were fortified. Furthermore, the relationship among MIR503HG, miR-191-5p, and phospholipase C delta 1 (PLCD1) in VSMCs was disclosed via mechanism assays. Decreased MIR503HG lacked the inhibition on miR-191-5p targeting PLCD1, resulting in downregulation of PLCD1, which facilitated the progression of AAA. Thus, targeting MIR503HG/miR-191-5p/PLCD1 pathway will provide an additional method for the cure of AAA patients.

To evaluate a novel 2D simultaneous multi-slice (SMS) myocardial perfusion acquisition and compare directly to a published quantitative 3D stack-of-stars (SoS) acquisition.A hybrid saturation recovery radial 2D SMS sequence following a single saturation was created for the quantification of myocardial blood flow (MBF). This sequence acquired three slices simultaneously and generated an arterial input function (AIF) using the first 24 rays. Validation was done in a novel way by alternating heartbeats between the hybrid 2D SMS and the 3D SoS acquisitions. Initial studies were done to study the effects of using only every other beat for the 2D SMS in two subjects, and for the 3D SoS in four subjects. The proposed alternating acquisitions were then performed in ten dog studies at rest, four dog studies at adenosine stress, and two human resting studies. Quantitative MBF analysis was performed for 2D SMS and 3D SoS separately, using a compartment model.Acquiring every-other-beat data resulted in 6 ± 5% ("ideal") and 11 ± 8% ("practical") perfusion changes for both 2D SMS and 3D SoS methods. For alternating acquisitions, 2D SMS and 3D SoS quantitative perfusion values were comparable for both the twelve rest studies (2D SMS: 0.69 ± 0.16 vs 3D: 0.69 ± 0.15 ml/g/min, p = 0.55) and the four stress studies (2D SMS: 1.28 ± 0.22 vs 3D: 1.30 ± 0.24 ml/g/min, p = 0.61).Every-other-beat acquisition changed estimated perfusion values relatively little for both sequences. The quantitative hybrid radial 2D SMS myocardial first-pass perfusion imaging sequence gave results similar to 3D perfusion when compared directly with an alternating beat acquisition.

Based on the panel data of 29 provinces and cities in China from 2013 to 2020, the mediating effect model and the moderating effect model are used to empirically analyze the transmission role of technological innovation and industrial structure optimization in the digital economy influencing the green transformation of manufacturing industry, and the moderating role of environmental regulation in the digital economy promoting the green transformation of the manufacturing industry. The results of the empirical study show that the digital economy promotes the green transformation of the manufacturing industry through technological innovation and industrial structure optimization. On the other hand, the intensity of environmental regulation has a significant negative moderating effect on the green transformation of the manufacturing industry promoted by the digital economy.

The differences in clinical parameters between the EDH and SDH groups were investigated. Collagen fiber percentage was assessed, and the correlation with clinical parameters was evaluated. mRNA sequencing in hyperplasia nodules of 8 BPH patients was performed, and differentially expressed genes (DEGs) between the EDH and SDH groups were screened. These DEGs were analyzed using GO, KEGG and PPI analysis.Results: The results showed the IPSS was significantly higher in the SDH group than in the EDH group (p < 0.01). The collagen fiber percentage of BPH nodules was higher in the SDH group than in the EDH group (p < 0.05), and the collagen fiber percentage was positively correlated with the IPSS (r = 0.4058, p = 0.0007). A total of 172 DEGs were obtained, including 63 up-regulated genes and 109 down-regulated genes. GO and KEGG pathway enrichment analyses showed DEGs were mainly enriched in extracellular matrix structural constituents. The top 10 hub genes were associated to the components of extracellular matrix and fibrosis.Conclusion: These results suggested that the symptoms of BPH patients with SDH nodules may be associated with prostate fibrosis and fibrosis may be a significant contributing factor in BPH/LUTS patients with SDH nodules.Keywords: benign prostate hyperplasia, lower urinary tract symptoms, prostate fibrosis, stroma, pathology

Corporate environmental responsibility has received considerable attention. In our study, we consider a supply chain in which a manufacturer invests in green technology to decrease the carbon footprint. The main issue addressed here is how the manufacturer selects the optimal online selling format between agency selling and reselling to ensure profitability with a lower carbon footprint. In an uncertain market with considering different pricing sequences in dual-channel promotion,we explore six scenarios. The results show that the different pricing sequences will not affect the equilibrium green degree and pricing strategies under agency selling, whereas it may result in an improved greenness in reselling format. Furthermore, under the interaction of uncertain demand, pricing sequence and green technology investment, we reveal the agent selling format is not always superior to the reselling format with a double-marginalization effect, which contrary to the general intuition. Specifically, in an optimistic market, the manufacturer is more profitable in reselling format when the promotion price set in online channel prior to traditional channel, and in a pessimistic market, the opposite pricing sequence formulated will bring a considerable benefit to the manufacturer.

Myocardial infarction (MI) is lethal to patients because of acute ischemia and hypoxia leading to cardiac tissue apoptosis. Autophagy played a key role in MI through affecting the survival of cardiomyocytes. LncRNA-MHRT (myosin heavy-chain-associated RNA transcripts) was specific to the heart and cardiomyocytes, and inhibition of lncRNA-MHRT transcription under pathological stimuli could cause cardiac hypertrophy and even heart failure (HF). Sonodynamic therapy (SDT) is a new and developing medical technique that utilizes low-intensity ultrasound to locally activate a preloaded sonosensitizer. Our group previously reported that SDT could regulate autophagy. In this study, we investigated whether SDT could reduce MI-induced cardiomyocyte apoptosis via activating autophagy pathway. SDT improved cardiac function and suppresses MI-induced cardiomyocyte apoptosis. SDT alleviated MI-induced cardiomyocyte apoptosis by improving autophagy. MHRT mediated the inhibiting effect of SDT on cardiomyocyte apoptosis via activating autophagy pathway. Our data reveal a novel effect that SDT protects against MI and confirm that SDT reduces MI-induced cardiomyocyte apoptosis via activating MHRT-mediated-autophagy. Thus, our findings also indicate that SDT may be used as a potential method for treatment of post-myocardial infarction heart failure.
